 Prologue

    Recounting the history of Astro Prism


    <ul>


    <li>8932 BoM: Astro Prism was born in the Verdant Coast (Located on a southeast peninsula of the Continent of Eter)</li>


    <li>8937 BoM: Astro (age 5) attempted his first magic affinity test. The results were inconclusive; no affinity was detected.</li>


    <li>8942 BoM: Using the influence of the Prism noble family, Astro was able to enter Bright Elementary School of Magic.</li>


    <li>8944 BoM: Astro becomes heavily injured during the Snow Wolf incident. Having been unable to use magic, Astro being one of the 12 survivors out of 20 was simply a miracle.</li>


    <li>8945 BoM: The first instance of Astro using magic is recorded via the third year final exam. He use the spell Aqua Shot to destroy 3 moving targets simultaneously. It is currently unknown when he was first able to use magic.</li>


    <li>8946 BoM: Astro graduates from Bright Elementary School of Magic with an average score. His magic comprehension score was perfect however his practical exam was passed on the bare minimum.</li>


    <li>8948 BoM: Astro attempts to enter Stellar Magic Academy for the first time. He was rejected.</li>


    <li>8949 BoM: Astro fails for the second time to enter Stellar Magic Academy.</li>


    <li>8950 BoM: Astro¡¯s third attempt shocked the examiners. Though he lacked power, he was able to control all five elements simultaneously. He was instantly enrolled as an honors student and given the ability to choose a mentor on top of his normal class schedule. He chose a young magician named Serah Silverwind as his mentor. It is currently unknown the reason he had chosen to pick Ms. Silverwind as supposed to any of the other highly regarded mentors.</li>


    <li>8951 BoM: In the first year tournament, Astro took first place in every aspect except for power. His agility and understanding of the elements helped him conquer through the combat portion of the event. The Twilight Sect and the Dawn Sect both approached Astro in hopes to pull them to their side. After one season of deliberation he accepted the Twilight Sect¡¯s offer and promised to move to their lands after he graduated.</li>


    <li>8954 BoM: Astro graduated from Stellar Academy and moved to Twilight City. This is the first known contact between Astro and Aria Twilight.</li>


    <li>8955 BoM: The Invasion of the Beasts begins triggering the beginning of the Second Ancient War.</li>


    <li>8956 BoM: An elite group including Astro and Aria is dispatched to stop the 4th Wave. The number of beasts in the 4th Wave was much more than anticipated. Though the elite group did not lose any members, all members were heavily injured and were only able withdraw due to a second group being dispatched as an emergency crew. Both Astro and Aria were hospitalized for 2 seasons before they were fully able to recover.</li>


    <li>8958 BoM: After the 16th Wave, The large scale invasions came to a sudden halt and humanity was able to push the beasts back to a choke point in the Hilos Mountain Range. Astro left Twilight City with Aria to an unknown location.</li>


    <li>8966 BoM: Aria returns to Twilight City. She does not mention the whereabouts of Astro.</li>


    <li>8967 BoM: Astro appears at Twilight City to ask for Aria¡¯s hand in marriage. She accepts and Twilight City¡¯s holds a city wide event in celebration. Assassins from the Dawn Sect are dispatched to deal with him. Astro deals with them in a very simple fashion. It is unknown when, however it seems that both Aria and Astro had learned to use the flow of mana to maintain their youth and prolong their lives indefinitely.</li>


    <li>8968 BoM: Astro and Aria embark on a journey to an unknown location. A few of those around the two including Serah Silverwind seem to have left as well.</li>


    <li>9960 BoM: The 17th Wave comes and with the beasts¡¯ leaders now joining the fray, the beasts take over the majority of the land they had lost during the war.</li>


    <li>9962 BoM: Astro and Aria return to Twilight City before the beasts reach the city.</li>


    <li>9963 BoM: The beasts attack with full force as Twilight City is one of the most influential places in the world. Astro and Aria defend the city to no avail. Though they killed many beast generals, the sheer number overwhelmed them. On this day, two unknown phenomenon happened related to Astro Prism. Using an unknown element, Astro teleported the remaining survivors and defenders on a massive scale to Stellar Academy. Though Astro remained and was left hopeless, another world breaking spell was cast. An explosive spell centering around Astro destroyed Twilight City and much of the surrounding area. This explosion killed many of the beast generals and most importantly, the beast king. Though chaos continued to ensue due to the beasts all over the continent, without their leader, there were no more organized invasions and humanity was able to push the beasts back to the choke point at the Hilos Mountain Range. The Second Ancient War was finally over, but at the cost of humanity¡¯s hero, Astro Prism.</li>


    </ul>


    Writer Notes: This world is developed for future novels. Although the majority of The Vast World does not relate to this world, I personally feel the main character will become much more ¡°realistic¡± if we can understand some of the experiences he has been through. In order for us to understand Eter must be a fully developed world rather than something just to note back to every so often.If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen.     Also¡­ BoM stands for the Beginning of Magic. It is the earliest recording of magic in the land of Eter.
