RUMBLE...RUMBLE....RUMBLE The sound of the ship arching side to side as if it was being pushed by a mysterious force was enough to shock Asuka out of her trance of deep thought. The crew members all hung onto the side of the ship so they werent knocked over by the force. "w-what was that" some of the crew members said in a panic. "Steady men, keep quiet and be on your guard" Asuka said whilst gripping her sword which was attached to a hilt on her waist. "Yes Capatain Ayame" The crew said in agreement. "Men get to your stations, full sail we need more speed thats an order" Asuka said with a commanding voice "Yes capatain Ayame" The crew said mustering their courage Asuka quickly ran to the mast the was positioned in the center of the ship and jumped up asending higher and higher until she was standing at the top of the mast, eye to eye with the large sea serpent. Asuka drew her sword and pointed it at the creature. "I will not allow you to harm my ship" Asuak shouted confidently. The serpent arched its head back before lunging forward its jaw wide open revealing several sets of sharp teeth. Asuka lunged forward sword clenched tightly in her hands. CHOMP The beasts mouth shut and Asuka was nowhere to be seen. "Captain Asuka, where is the captain, is she dead, what do we do now" The crew members said with tears in their eyes and a look of pure fear on their faces. SLICE! the sound of metal cutting through flesh in a quick motion echoed in the vast openiess of the ocean, The beast was silent and motionless for a moment before its head fell from its body landing into the ocean with a splash followed by the rest of its body. The crew members all slowly approached the side of the boat and peered over into the ocean, the ocean was a mass with blood making it difficult to see below the surface. Suddenly Asuka rose her head out of the water gasping for air, her hair and body were a mess coverd in blood and saliva. BANG.....BANG......BANG "CANNON FIRE" the crew all screamed at the top their lungs. The Quatermaster kicked the door open to the capatains quaters. "Capatain we are under attack!" he yelled. Asuka jumped out of her bed grabbed her sword that was sitting by the door and went out to find the source of the cannon fire. "You" She pointed over at a crew member holding a telescope. "Give me that telescope" The crew member complied handing her the telescope. Asuka looked through the telescope survying her enviroment, eventually finding the source of the attack in the form of enemy ships, Asuka reconsided the symbol on the ship immidetly. "The Empire is here" Asuka said angrily. "They must be after the relic too, no doubt they have sent their firece capatain to lead them. Capatain Takashi was a well respected captain of the empires naval fleet, he had several victories to his name and had supposedly never been defeated in battle before. "Crew, turn the ship broadside and return fire with everything we have!" Asuka shouted with a commanding voice "Yes Ma''am" The crew shouted as they rushed to their battle positions. "Captain Ayame what are you going to do" The quatermaster said. "Im going to bring back the head of their capatain" Asuka said coldly. Asuka bided her time waited for the ships to be near side by side with each other. The sound of cannon fire and screams filled their distorted and warping all other sounds. Asuka could feel her heart being to race again, she did her best to keep her breath steady as she clutched onto her sword tightly. The moment the oppertunity arrived Asuka jumped over to the enemy ship landing on the deck, the enemy crew members all reacted in a panic drawing out their weapons and charging towards her. Asuka moved quickly so quick it was a like a blur in the eyes of the enemy sailors. she slashed quickly and efficently it was as if every strike was poetry in motion. Before long Asuka found herself to be the only left standing on the deck with all the enemy sailors dead or incapacited....save one. "So you must be captain Ayame" A mans voice called out to her. She turned to look at the man and saw it was Captain Takashi. "I must say your skills are admirable you best my crew as if they were mere peasents, but i hope you dont take me as lightly" Captain Takashi said cooly. "Save your admiration im only here for your head" Asuka said coldly whilst pointing her sword at him. Captain Takashi let out a smirk "Come take it then" he said whilst drawing his own sword. Asuak charged at the Capatain with even more speed then she had shown previously, the capatain reacted in kind moving equally as fast to counter her. the two were in sync almost matched in terms of skill, each strike was being perfectly parried by the opponent. FLASH! suddnely in a flash of bright yellow light a mysterious woman appeard on the ship. Asuka drew he sword and pointed it at the woman. "Im sorry but i cant allow any of you to leave here alive" Commander Sayomi said calmly. Asuka reacted instinctivly and rushed towards Sayomi striking at her with her sword in a downward cutting motion. CLANK! Asuka thought "Ayame style EAGLE SWEEP" Auska shouted as she leaped into the air spun around and bought the sword swinging horizonitally across the neck of Sayomi Sayomi calmly moved her sword a few centimeters to the right. Chapter 1: An encounter with fate "Arrgggggghhh" Masayuki groaned as he was knocked back by the Deathclaw''s attack. Masayuki grinned as he drew his sword. "Not to bad but i can do better" He said confidently. Masayuki charged towards the Deathclaw, the Deathclaw replied in kind with a charge of its own. This time Masayuki sidestepped the beasts charge and slashed its side with his sword, the beast barely reacted as they sword made contact with its armour plated skin. "Damn it, this things hide is too tough" Masayuki groaned. The Deathclaw retalited by roaring and swinging its large tail in a sweeping motion, its tail collided with Masayuki''s body sending him flying across the ground knocking his sword out of his hands. "Ack-damn it" Masayuki grunted from the pain. Masayuki looked across at his sword. "I cant let things end here, i have barely begun my journey" Masayuki cried out in defience. The Deathclaw slow apporched Masayuki who was still lying prone on the ground, the beasts massive frame cast a large shadow that engulfed Masayuki''s whole body as it got closer. Masayuki looked up at the large snarling beast that was holding one claw up in the air ready to deliver the final blow. "NOW" Masayuki shouted. He lept up off the ground and jumped high into the air, just in time for the Deathclaws attack to miss him and strike the ground with a thunderous thud. Masayuki landed next to his sword and picked it up off the ground, he turned to face the Deathclaw. "Time to finish this,Come on fido bring it!" Masayuki said taunting the beast. The Deathclaw dug its back legs deep into the dirt and pushed off with tremendous force jumping towards Masayuki. Masayuki gave a sly grin. "Big mistake" Masayuki said confidently. Masayuki placed both hands on his kitana and closed his eyes momentarily. "SHINIGAMI SLASH!" Masayuki charged forward with inhuman levels of speed and in one fell sweep slashed the creature across its stomach situated on its vunrable underbelly. Masayuki held out his kitana holdster and placed the blade back into it confidently, the Deathclaw was still standing but was completely motionless. A few moments later the beast fell to the floor with a massive thud as blood came oozing out of its gaping wound. Masayuki looked back at the corpse of the Deathclaw. A Deathclaw this close to the royal city, where are all the soliders. The wilds are often filled with feroucious creatures like birds,beasts and dragons but to have a dangerous beast like a Deathclaw unatteneded so close to the city was worrying to say the least. "Well at least its not an issue any longer, now as fun as that fight was i have to be on my way i have a job to do, i will travel to the royal city of Katigat and i will enlist in the royal army where i will be able to earn enough money to save my village from the extreme state of povety that its currently in" Masayuki said proudly. BANG A explosion sound resonated from the darkness of the forest "Sir get out of the way" Masayuki shouted as he leaped in front of the nobleman, blocking an incoming bullet from reaching him with his sword. Frustration began to build within Masayuki. "COME ON SHOW YOURSELVES" Masayuki shouted. Suddenly a powerful force struck Masayuki knocking him off his feet and sending him flying into the surrounding forest. Masayuki quickly got to his feet but before he could get his bearing he felt the cold touch of steel against his neck. "If you move i will kill you" A mysterious voice called out from behind him. Masayuki instantly reconised the voice as a female voice that much was clear but who she was and what she wanted was still unkown to him. "Sorry but following a ladies lead just isn''t my style" Masayuki said slyly. Masayuki quickly ducked underneath the girls blade with lightning fast speed and grabbed her from behind with his arms in a rear naked choke. "We can end this right now no harm no foul right" Masayuki said optimisticly The girl didnt reply with words rather she leaned her body forward before throwing her head back striking him in the nose, she then grabbed Masayuki''s arm flipping him over her head with judo throw. before Masayuki could even attempt to get back on his feet the mysterious girl was sitting on top of him with her sword pointed at his neck. Masayuki looked up at the girl who was sitting on him with her sword pointing at his neck. "Well this is not good" he said with a smirk.
