Chapter 1: Epic Arrval
Chester regained consciousness. He had a massive headache. Shifting his glasses back into position, his eyesight was still very blurry, but eventually he was able to look around. He was lying on he floor. On an fancy carpet. Next to him was a coffee table and an antique couch. Chester pushed himself up to a sitting position. a blue screen appeared in front of him.

The wording looked blurry to him. His headache wouldn''t let him focus on it, and soon it was gone. Where am I?. He noticed a figure standing nearby. not wanting to look like he had no idea where he was, he decided to play it cool and act natural. first he would relocate himself to the couch. Chester pulled himself off the ground and stood up.
A feat of strength has been preformed strength +1
What was that? He put a hand on his head, the headache slowly fading away. Sitting down on he couch, he looked around. He was in the middle of a large room, fancy carpet, antique furniture, high ceiling with fancy engravings. Where am I? Chester noticed he was in his usual sweat pants and t-shirt. I don''t usually leave my house wearing these clothes.
I think I''m hallucinating. He looked up to the figure standing nearby and said "excuse me, I think I''ve been drugged" Now that his headache was mostly gone he noticed that the person standing there was a beautiful woman. She was already looking at him, and responded "Hello chester, we need to talk". Chester stared at her with a glazed look in his eyes. He couldn''t help but notice she was scantily clad. She repeated herself. "There are things we need to discuss..." Chester let out a noise. Huuunnngh. Chester prematurely ejaculated. The woman looked at him with confusion, "Are you ok? what was that?" After she spoke, she noticed Chesters embarrassed look on his face, and she understood what happened. Her facial expression changed to disgust.

After a few moments of silence, she spoke again. "Chester, you have died" Chester was still looking to the side, not able to make eye contact. She continued. "I''m going to be sending you to another world" After hearing that he looked at her again. "I think your''re crazy lady" Looking as if a light bulb turned on in his head "Are you he one that drugged me?". The woman did not wand to deal with his. "Usually I would be able to stay with you and explain more, but I don''t have time right now. The man standing behind you will be acting as your interface" Chester turned around, standing behind the couch to the side was an older man with a top hat. The man with a top hat waved hello. Chester started to seriously think he was about to be tied up and molested. Chester kept his cool, turned back to the woman and asked, "What is an interface" The man behind him responded "Its how you interact with some of the non physical things of the world, like those blue boxes you saw earlier" "That was you?" chester asked "thats right". The man continued speaking "A feat of deduction has been preformed wisdom +1" as the man said it a blue box appeared in front of the mans mouth. While Chester had a look of wonder the woman began to speak again. "you will be going to a fantasy world, much like the games you play and the manga you read. in this world there are skills, levels, attributes, monsters and magic". After seeing the blue box trick from the top hat man, Chesters inability to believe her almost totally fell away. He immediately started to imagine himself with a thin muscular body covered in armor, holding a sword and shield. The man behind him started to talk quietly and a blue box appeared infront of Chester

Chester could feel the top hat man mocking him. The man behind him spoke out loud this time "Chester doesn''t seem like such an adventurous name. do you have a different name that you would rather be called by?" Chester surprised by the seeming good intentions replied "Not really" The man prodded further, "What nickname did you have when you were younger?" Chester thought for a minute and responded "Bitch Tits". The woman said quietly, mostly to herself. "Why would you propose that?". "Lets stick with Chester then" the man replied. "so what special cheats do I get?" The woman was surprised by Chesters question. "what?". Chester made himself more clear, "You Know, special abilities that only I have, that will give me an advantage over everyone else in that world"

As Chester was contemplating the implictions of that last notification box the woman started o give him his departing speech. "Well enjoy your new life" She turned to walk away,
"wait, how did I die?"
"You had a heart attack"
"but I''m only 36"
"You know you weigh almost 400 pounds, right? I mean, throughout your life, you have eaten four sticks of butter. its no surprise that you died"
Chester sat in wonder. "you obviously dont know what youre talking about. I must have eaten thousands of sticks of butter in my life. every spaghetti night I would mix in two sticks"
¡°i was referring to the eight sticks of butter that you ate without adding them to anything. You peeled them open and ate them like a chocolate bar. Sprinkling on some salt before each bite.¡±
He did not respond. She turned away and walked out of the room. When the door closed behind her, Chester passed out.

Chester woke up. He was falling. Fast. He started to scream, louder than he ever had.

His shirt was pulled up to his armpits from the air pressing against him. Ripples from the wind could be seen all over his body. He had to take a break from all the screaming for a few moments to catch his breath, and then the screams continued. Flabs of fat were flopping in the wind. His immense size made it so that he actually fell slower than someone with less girth would, it even made him slightly glide away from his initial trajectory.

If his cheeks were not literally pushed up over his eyes, he would have seen a large city close by, plains on one side of it, and a large forest on the side that he was falling. As he was getting closer to the ground his body turned forwards, and now he had a clear view where he would be landing, on a road in the beginning of the forest, leading to the city. The fear he felt sent shivers through his body, and he shat his pants.
When he was 30 feet above the ground, he started to slow down, and at ten feet, he had come to a full stop.

He didn''t stop screaming. Without warning, whatever was holding him in the air let go, and he fell, hitting the ground hard. His belly hit the ground first, softening the blow for his arms and legs. His head didn''t hit the ground at all, his face instead pounding onto his upturned breasts. He could have swore he was paralyzed. For sure both his legs were broken. Ahem... He stood up, and quickly realized that he shat his pants at some point. Sitting on it also did not help. He slipped off his crocs, then slightly bent over, pulled his sweat pants down a bit, and kind of jiggled until they fell down to the ground. (isn''t that how everyone takes off their pants?) he tried doing the same with his underwear but it didn''t work out as well as he planned. Little bits of shit stuck along the back of his legs all the way down. (btw he was not wearing socks) He kind of knew that the shit was sticking to the back of his legs, but he couldn''t verify it, so he figured he would just ignore it. But he had to do something about all the poop mashed onto his ass. He got down on his knees, and picked up his soiled underwear. The front of it was mostly clean, and he bent over a bit and used the clean part of his underwear to wipe his ass. He would have liked to wipe it more, but he ran out of clean room on his underwear. He stood back up, and walked over to the side of the road, half naked (or does this count as fully naked with a shirt on?) he threw his soiled underwear as far as he could into the forest. It went, like, half a meter. He considered getting a stick to pick up the underwear and throw it further, but he seriously could not be bothered to bend over to pick something off the ground right now. He rubbed his hands on a tree to try to get some of the shit off of his hands, and walked back to his pants and shoes. Lying down on the ground, he began the process of putting his pants back on. He was surprised when he got back on his knees that there was no blue window popping up. He stood up.

after slipping on his shoes, he started to walk towards the city at the end of the road.
At first chester thought this would be easy. But it turned out, that this would be one of the most difficult tasks he had ever done. Twenty meters down the road towards the city, still within the border of the forest, he was taking a break from his ¡°journey¡± towards the city. Chester was leaning against a tree at the edge of the forest on the side of the road. This was the second time he was taking a break. who the hell can walk this far?. He threw up. It splattered on the roots of the tree, some drops splashing off onto his shoes, dripping through the holes onto his toes. He wasn''t sure if his queasiness was from some obvious form of severe heat stroke, or because he forced himself to finish those dozen eggs and two loaves of bread for breakfast. (for the record, he had no such heatstroke). He continued his walk towards the city, keeping close to the tree line, in case he needed another rest.
After reaching the edge of the forest, Chester was met with another blue window

Chapter 3 Epic Arrival
At the main eastern gate at the edge of the city, facing the great forest, a guard at the southern side of the large gate called out to the guard at the northern side.
"Hey, you see that thing over by the tree line?"
"Yeah".
"What do you think it is?"
"Looks like some large orc. Or maybe a baby giant? Is that what a baby giant looks like? i never saw one before"
"Baby giants can''t stand"
"Maybe its a toddler giant?"
"It looks like it is coming out of the tree line, I think we should call the guard captain"
The usual protocol was to not do anything about monsters that came up to 20 meters out of the forest, but usually it was only smaller monsters, like goblins making an outpost, or young kobolds wandering around. But this was suspicious, so it was better to play it safe. the guard on the northern side of the gate called up to an archer standing on top of the wall.
"Archer dude, use your Eagle Eye and tell us what that is"
the archer activated his skill, getting a clear zoomed in vision of the creature in the distance.
"it looks like a halfbreed mix between an orc and a human"
"I thought if an orc and a human breed, then the offspring is an orc"
"Well if the father is an orc, then they make an orc, but if the mother is an orc, then they make a half orc"
The guard on the southern side spoke up. "Aren''t there places where half orcs are allowed into society?"
The guard on the north side responded, "Well their not accepted here, that''s for sure"
He was so sure because he never saw one inside the city, although he had never even been to most of the city. The guard on the northern side called up to the archer, "Go call the guard captain"
The archer went down from on top of he wall. after a few minutes the guard captain came walking out of the gate, followed by four soldiers and two archers. looking at the creature that was making its way down the road towards the city, he gave some orders, and soon there were a handful of archers on top of the gate, with two mages, and a group of armored spearmen on the ground in front of the gate.

One of the spearmen was speaking to the guard captain "It seems to be wounded sir"
"That would explain why it keeps on stopping to rest"
"do you think its rabid? or gone mad? why else would it come close to the city?"
"I don''t know, but well soon find out¡± Watching the creature approach with crawling speed, the captain changed his assessment. ¡°or maybe not so soon, but within an hour or two. Why is it walking so slow?"
"Another proof that it is severely injured sir. Maybe it''s been afflicted with the status ailments; confuse, and slow, sir"
...
After many more stops, Chester started to feel very thirsty. and the sweaty shit on his ass was really starting to itch. He couldn''t walk while scratching his ass, so he would use those times to rest as well. He didn''t sit down, but just stood there, body twisting, stretching his arms to the max, around his body. It was necessary to twist in each direction, to the left to scratch his left but cheek, and to the right to scratch the other. After a while of walking, he received two notifications.
Walking for so long, your legs have been pushed to their limits. agility +1

At this point he could clearly see the gate, with guards standing all around. He raised his hands in the air "Hey come help me! I cant walk all this on my own!" His arms were too heavy to hold up for too long, and they soon fell to his sides.
It did not seem like any of he guards heard him.
...
the creature was slowly approaching. at some point it started to do some kind of dance, twisting its body around. This worried the captain, it may be a sign that an attack would soon follow. He ordered his troops to be ready for anything. The archers knocked their arrows, and the mages prepared spells.
...
Chester finally made it within 10 meters of the troops. The spearmen took a defensive stance, raising their spears. Huffing and gasping for air, Chester called out "Please, you have to help me" The guard captain considered, it could be that this creature came out asking for help, without any ill intentions. It was not unheard of, some monsters breaking away from their groups, to warn the civilized races of impending doom. The guards did not respond, waiting for the captain. Chester took a few more steps forward and called out again. "Please, you have to help me!, I have shit my pants" There was a very long moment of silence. Finally the guard captain called out. "what is your race? are you a half orc?"
"I am a human"
The troops gave each other a worrying glance. The guard captain spoke to the mages on top of the gate, "do either of you have a basic identify skill?"
"I do" one of them responded.
"check his status"
The mage cast the spell identify, even though he only had it at a low level, this was enough to find out which race the target is from. "He is telling the truth, he is a human" In unison the guards gasped in shock.
"Has he been hit with a slow spell?, and is he under some sort of monstrous disfiguring curse?"
"he has no abnormalities asides from fatigue, exhaustion, and sunburn"
The guard captain motioned for the archers to lower their bows.
Chapter 4: You Cant Name Two Chapters With The Same Title
The guard captain approached Chester, with two spearmen following behind. how did he get through the forest on is own? this man is obviously very powerful. He does not carry any weapons, so he must be a strong magic user. it would be a good idea for me to get on his good side while I can. When the captain reached Chester, he pulled a greater stamina potion out of his belt, and handed it to him. Chester took the bottle, is this lemonade? I am so thirsty. How much is in here, like gulp of lemonade? maybe its magical and really holds a lot. Chester pulled out the stopper, and gulped it down. It really was only a gulp.

"I''m the guard captain"
"My name is Chester"
"nice to meet you. I hope that will help you make it into the city on your own, there''s not much else we can help you with"
"That should be fine thank you"
The guard captain motioned towards the city, and Chester walked on through the gate. After Chester was out of sight, the guard captain caught a whiff of a foul smell. He looked around, and then brought his hand up to his nose, and sniffed. He started to gag. One of the spearmen got worried.
"Are you OK captain?"
"There''s shit....there''s shit on my hands!"
"How did you get shit on your hands sir?"
"Just get me something to clean it off!''
"Right away sir!".
Chester entered the city gate. He walked over to one of the guards inside. Being so exited to start his questing, he forgot all about his immediate hygiene issues.
"I''m looking for the adventurers guild"
The guard was involved in the security alert when Chester first approached the city, so he was not surprised by his appearance.
"I don''t know of any adventurers guild, but the fighters guild is just down the road, you make a right down the street, and is on the right side"
"thank you"
Chester made his way down the street, and noticed he was able to walk much farther without getting exhausted. As he walked, he noticed every single person stopping to stare at him.

He soon came to the first side street. It was much narrower than the main road, and the buildings on both sides blocked most of the light. He excitedly walked down the side street looking around for signs of he guild. As he walked, two men that were relaxing next to a dumpster got up, and stood in his way.
"I didn''t know they started letting monsters into the city"
"This has to be the fattest baby giant I have ever seen"
Chester did not like the way this was progressing. One of the thugs made a whistle, and five more came out from he shadows. The shortest thug stepped forward.
"hand over your coins"
"I don¡¯t have any"

"Is that any way to talk to someone who saved your life?"
"Thank you"
"You don''t need to thank me, but you do need to pay me. Get the money by a week from now. And don''t try to run away, I don¡¯t think you would do a very good job of hiding. How did you get that fat anyway?"
Without waiting for his answer, the beast girl walked out of the alley. That was a good investment, and a great way to get rid of that stolen potion. The beast girl thief reflected on her actions.
Chester stood up. His clothes wet with fresh blood. His run in with the thugs woke him up to his situation, and he considered his position. I have no money, wait, I OWE money. I have no food. Nowhere to sleep. No job. I need a shower and a change of clothes. He looked down. I don''t even have any shoes. Maybe that cat girl can help me. She was nowhere in sight. He moved his hand up to his face to shift his glasses back into position, and realized that he did not have his glasses. I can see everything so clearly. Chester decided to stick with his original plan, and head towards the fighters guild. Once there, he can ask all about how he can get his basic living needs. Every one in the street was staring at him again, and his blood soaked clothes didn''t help, no one even noticed that he wasn¡¯t wearing any shoes. Stopping a passing man to get directions, he called out "Excuse me kind sir knight" Chester was getting into the idea that he was in a fantasy world, and his choice of speech was reflecting that. The result for some reason, was him talking like a jack-ass. "Can you direct me to the fighters guild?"
"I¡¯m not a knight"
"Sorry, I saw you wearing that armor and I just assumed"
The armored man pointed down the street, past the alley.
"To get to the guild you walk straight, make the first right, and it''s right there. There''s a big sign in front, with a sword and shield"
Chester noticed the mans slender figure, and pointy ears. "Ooooh, are you an elf?" Chester was getting giddy. "Are elf girls real pretty and beautiful?" The armored elf had a concerned look on his face. He slowly backed away from Chester, and continued walking down the street. What was that guys problem. They both thought. Chester¡¯s excitement came back, and he headed towards the fighters guild.
Chapter 6 Epic Inventory
As Chester walked down the street, he was amazed by everything that was going on. Seeing the different shops that lined the main road, selling all kinds of different things, (many magical he was sure). He couldn¡¯t help but stare at all the different kinds of people that he saw, so many different kinds of races, elves, beast-men, dwarves, lizard-men, and others he was not sure what they were. and for as many types of races, there was even more of a variety in what everyone was wearing. Casual clothes, full plates of armor, archers in leotards, mages with pointy hats, and everything in between.
Chester was still holding on to the health potion bottle the beast girl gave him, and he had an idea. "inventory" a screen with the title "inventory" popped up in front of him, along with two inventory slots. It only has two slots? Maybe there is some way to unlock more. maybe the more I use it. He held the bottle up, and pushed it into one of the slots on the screen. The bottle disappeared from his hand, and a low quality 2d picture of a bottle appeared in the inventory slot. "Amazing" He reached his hand out again, towards the picture of the potion bottle. When his hand was right in front of the screen, the potion bottle appeared in his hand. Thinking to level up his inventory screen, and thereby increase the number of inventory slots, he repeated to deposit the bottle into his inventory, and take it out again. Over, and over. He thought he felt something tugging at his pants leg, and he looked down, expecting to see a cat, or some kind of small fantasy creature, but there was nothing there. Assuming it was his imagination, he continued to use his inventory. After fifteen times, still nothing happened. He suspected that this may not be the way to increase the space in his inventory, and even if it was, he wouldn''t continue. His arm was getting too tired being held up for so long. Putting the bottle back into his inventory, he closed the screen. Chester continued to walk down the street. He hadn''t eaten in a while, and instinctively stuck his hands in his pockets to search for a chocolate bar. there was no chocolate bar, but there was some hard item. He pulled it out, and it was an empty potion bottle. Where did this come from? Did I not return the bottle the guard captain gave me? Anyways its mine now. Maybe I can sell it, or refill it with a potion. "I CAN LEARN TO MAKE POTIONS!" He cried out. More people turned his way to see what all the screaming was about. He decide to store it for later. "inventory" His inventory screen popped up. "What the hell?" his other potion bottle, the one he got from the beast girl, was gone. Do potion bottles disappear after they are used? That is what happens in all the games. Then why do I still have the guard captains bottle?
The gears in your head are turning (although not necessarily in the right direction) wisdom (begrudgingly) +1
I shouldn''t disregard the option that top hat man is just messing with me. Whatever, I''ll figure this out later. He put the potion bottle into his inventory and closed the window. This narrative has been purloined without the author''s approval. Report any appearances on Amazon.
Soon after, noticing the classic wooden sign sticking out above, into the street, he arrived at the door. Chester was happy to notice that the doors in this city were wide enough for him to fit through without having to struggle too much. Pushing the door open, he walked inside. Some bells that hung from the door jingled as he stepped in. He headed right over to the counter. There was a large heavy (muscular not fat) woman behind the counter.
"Hello, is this the fighters guild?"
"Does this look like the fighters guild?"
Chester looked around. the walls were lined with weapons. Racks of swords, axes, spears, and war-hammers
"Yes it does!"
The fighters guild receptionist was about to say something, but Chester cut her off. He sounded as if he had been practicing these lines.
"Hello, my name is Chester, I have come from far away. .I am aspiring to become a great adventurer. Please let me join your guild"
She was about to begin speaking again, and for the second time, he cut her off.
"Oh, also, i forgot to say, I have no place to stay, no money or any means of getting food. I would appreciate if...."
Now it was the woman behind the counter who cut him off.
"THIS IS NOT THE FIGHTERS GUILD YOU FUCKING IDIOT"
Her powerful voice shut him up. In a calmer, but still slightly angered voice, she continued.
"This is a weapons shop. And if you don''t have any money, you can get the fuck out"
Chester, shocked, and scared, slowly backed up towards the door, and walked out. Standing outside the door, he looked up at the sign. But it has a sword symbol. Was that elf who gave me directions messing with me? While looking up, he noticed a couple of buildings down, another sign, on it was a carving of a shield and sword. Oh man, I walked into the wrong building, the fighters guild must be that one.
Your wisdom stat is so low, that even this epiphany of yours is considered a great accomplishment. wisdom +1
Finally arriving at the fighters guild, he pushed open one of the double doors. He noticed that the door here was much heavier and harder to open than the door of the weapons shop.
Chapter 7 Epic Fighters Guild
Chester stepped into the fighters guild. He looked around the large room in anticipation. Round tables with chairs surrounding the room. On the wall he could see the quest board covered in leather pages, each with a unique quest, he was sure. And the room was filled with adventurers. Adventurers in all different sizes. Adventurers in all different races. He noticed they were mostly carrying swords and wearing armor, although he did spot a few with bows and what looked like magic staves. Quite a few were staring at him as well, but many seemed to not even care about his large appearance. He walked over to what looked like the main desk, and waited in line. It seemed like most of he people in the line were turning in completed quests, or accepting new ones. Being so anxious, it gave him the urge to pee (just thought you would be interested to know that). Finally it was his turn and he spoke to the dwarven receptionist behind the counter. Actually first he looked over the table to see that the dwarf was standing on a platform so that he could be at eye level with everyone else. Second, he spoke to the dwarf.
"How can I help you" the dwarf asked.
"I have come to..." Chester stopped mid sentence to compose himself.
"Hello, my name is Chester. I have come to join the fighters guild"
"Nice to meet you Chester. Here is the registration form *Hands Chester a piece of paper*. The fee for C grade membership is four silver. Or would you like to join at a higher grade?"
"I don''t have any money"
The receptionist looked Chester up and down.
"You want a membership without paying. There have been exceptions before, but you will have to talk to the guild master. He is in his room now, it is at the back on the right side *points to guild masters office* you can go there now"
Chester walked to the back, hoping he would not get a splinter from walking barefoot on the wooden floor. It took him longer than it should have to get to the back, he could not help himself, and was basically staring at everyone he passed. Reaching he guild master¡¯s door, he gave a knock. *knock, knock, knock*.
"Come in"
Chester opened the door and walked in. The guild master was sitting behind a desk, looking through some papers. He was a beast-kin, with silver wolf ears. He was wearing a white t-shirt, with a silver shoulder plate, held into place with a leather strap that went across his chest. He had a necklace with a smooth round blue gem on it. There were also three rings on his right hand. A short sword was sitting in its sheath, lying on the table. The guild master spoke up.
"Whoa, aren''t you a big fella!"
Chester did not know how to respond to that, so he didn''t.
"Whats up?" the guild master asked
"Hello, my name is Chester, I have come to join the guild, but I have no money"
You really did practice that line, didn''t you. skill acquired: Actor
The guild master looked him up and down.
"You also don''t have any shoes, and you are covered in blood."
Chester stood there, anxious, feeling like his whole future was in this mans (beast-kins?) hands. If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
Standing up, the guild master spoke.
"Well, before we decide, lets check you out first"
The guild master walked past Chester and into the main room.
"follow me"
They both walked back to the front desk. The guild master spoke to the receptionist.
"Pass me the identification sphere"
The dwarf receptionist pulled a sphere out from a drawer and placed it on he desk.
"Chester, put your hand on it"
Chester put his hand on the sphere, and it glowed with a faint blue light. A blue status screen popped up on top of the sphere, and before Chester could see what it said the guild master "grabbed" the status screen with two fingers and turned it towards himself. Looking at the screen, the guild master had a look of surprise on his face.
"In all my years as guild master, I have never seen a stat screen with these kind of numbers"
Chester spoke up
"Can I see it?"
The guild master gave Chester a puzzling look, why doesn''t he just check his own status screen?, He turned the screen to face Chester.

Chester spoke to the guild master.
"Are these good stats?"
"I don''t know what kind of life you have been living, but those stats are lower than a new born babies"
Chester picked up on the guild masters sense of humor, and gave a smile
"Ha ha very funny" *lightly chuckles*
The guild master straightened his lips and looked Chester right in the eye.
"I''m serious"
The guild master continued.
"However, that is the highest amount of HP I have ever seen. And, you have skills that I never even heard of"
The guild master paused for a moment to think.
"Your stats are all so low, but when they are low, it is easier to level them up. And with that giant HP of yours, added to that your huge size, with the right training, you could be one of the greatest heavy armor fighters in the world"
Chester''s mouth turned into a huge smile. Finally my adventure towards greatness is about to begin.
Illusions of grandeur has gained a level
"What the fuck top hat man, the guild master just said I''m gonna be the greatest"
"Are you talking to me?" the guild master asked
Chester realized he spoke out loud.
"NO, uh, i was talking to the blue screen guy..." as Chester spoke, his voice lowered considerably.
"Well, let''s head to the training floor to check some things out, if it goes well, I may train you personally"
As hey headed towards the stairs at the side of the room, Chester heard the dwarf talking to himself.
"No one ever gets to train with the guild master..."
Chapter 8 Epic Dissapointment
The guild master led Chester to a large training area. One wall was lined with training dummies, most of them were just large wooden logs planted into the ground. The logs were covered in marks, from being chopped slashed and stabbed. there were a few that were even equipped with a wooden sword and shield, strapped to a thick beam sticking out of the log. In one corner of the room there was a pile of padded leather armor, filed with weights (rocks). These were used to help gain stats in strength, and it also helped to increase stats in agility. there was padded weight armor for the torso, arms and legs. Along another wall, there were racks of wooden weapons. Swords, daggers, axes and hammers. There were also a couple of racks with iron weapons. A dozen fighters were training, some stopped to greet the guild master. Most of the people in the training room, were training on their own, a few were sparring. Despite the many windows high up on the walls, the room was hot and sweaty.
The guild master took Chester to a side room within the training area. It was a smaller room, but big enough for a group of people to train. The guard captain walked with Chester to the center of he empty room, and began his tutorial. He walked over to a weapon rack, and picked up an iron sword.
"Weapon proficiencies are acquired by using weapons"
He gave a few swings with the sword, into the air.
"Skills are acquired by leveling up a class, by preforming that exact skill, or by repeatedly preforming an action that resembles the skill"
The guild master walked to the edge of the room, held the sword to his side, as if ready to swing it, and got into position as if he was going to run.
"Blade Dash"
As soon as he said the words, the guild master slid across the room in a flash, swinging his sword.
"Classes are acquired by fulfilling certain requirements, or by using a class stone. As your stats are now, even a class stone wouldn''t be enough to get you a class"
The guild master walked back from the side of the room to Chester.
"Stats are increased by leveling up a class, and by using them to their limit"
He pointed at the floor.
"Lets see you do a pushup"
Up too this point, Chester was getting very exited. Thinking about skills, and classes. But now, his heart sank.
"A pushup?"
"Yeah, a pushup. now."
The guild master said that last word with some power in his voice. All of a sudden, Chester was not sure what he got himself into. Lying down on the ground, Chester started to push. Half way through his first pushup, he received a notification.
You have preformed a feat of strength. strength +1
After struggling for a bit, he was finally able to finish the first pushup.
Most of his belly was still fully resting on the ground. I guess it is easy to increase low stats. Chester was about to lie back down, and try to do another pushup, when the guild master stopped him.
"Don¡¯t move"
"What?, I thought I was doing pushups"
"There is more to work on here than just your strength"
Chester¡¯s arms started to feel weaker.
You have pushed your body to its limits. Endurance +1
"With your endurance, even a weak kick would do a lot of damage"
Chester¡¯s arms were starting to shake.

"As a heavy armor fighter, your main stats will be Strength, Vitality, and Endurance"
Chester, reaching his own limits, couldn¡¯t hold on any longer.
"I can''t do it any more"
He was about to let go and totally lie down on the ground, however, the guild master held out the iron sword, just under Chester¡¯s neck.
"Don''t move"
Chester let out a grunt.
Chester was sweating profusely. His teeth, were clenched, and his body was shaking.
Chester started to cry. He closed his eyes, and rolled to his side, away from the blade, flopping to the ground. He brought his arms up to his face for protection, and lied there, crying.
"Are you ok?"
*sob* "Don¡¯t hit me" *sob*
"I''m not going to hit you, so get up"
Chester calmed down a bit, but still did not stand.
"I said get up"
The guild master said this with more force. Chester slowly got to his feet. The guild master looked at Chester for a bit, thinking to himself. Eventually he walked over to a weapon rack, and took a second sword. He handed the sword to Chester.
"You will be practicing with a sword until you get the fighter class, then you should switch over to a spear, or lance. You wont have any range using a sword with your size, but a lance should suit you perfectly"
The guild master grabbed the hand of Chester that was holding the sword, and moved it up.
"You hold it like this"
Stepping back, the guild master told Chester
"Take a swing"
Chester reached back with the sword, and swung it like a girl throws a baseball.
"Try swinging it like this"
The guild master swung his sword into the air. Chester tried it, and ended up repeating what he did the first time.
"You''ll just have to practice it until you get the proficiency. proficiencies gain levels faster when they are used against something, even more when used against a stronger opponent. Try to hit me"
Chester got ready to swing, but was hesitating.
"Don¡¯t be afraid, there¡¯s not a chance in hell that you will hit me. Your stats are so low, I probably wouldn''t even need to try to block"
Chester closed his eyes, turned his head to the side, and swung the sword. It did not even come close to hitting the guild master, so the guild master didn''t even have to lift his sword.
"Why are you closing your eyes? Keep them open. Look at me and try again"
Chester looked the guild master right into his eyes, lifted the sword, and, right before he gave a swing, Quickly closed his eyes and turned his head to the side. The guild master stood there again, just looking at Chester, thinking to himself.
Next the guild master went to an armor rack, and picked up a shield. He walked back to Chester.
"Look, this is how you hold a shield"
He held the shield in front of him, facing Chester.
"Now you try"
The guild master gave Chester the shield, and took back the sword. Chester did a fairly good job at holding the shield. Especially compared to how he held the sword.
"Keep the shield in place"
The guild master lightly tapped the shield with the sword. Chester let out a scream.
"AAAAhh"
"You don''t have to scream, I''m not going to hurt you"
Chester pulled the shield close to his body, and tensed up.
"You need to hold the shield out a bit, that way you will be effected less by the force of a blow, unless there''s a really strong attack, then you want to hold it close."
Chester reluctantly held the shield out. His knees were shaking.
"I''m going to hit you a little harder now"
As the guild master lightly swung the sword, Chester closed his eyes, pulled the shield back to his body, and tensed up. The guild master stopped in the middle of the swing, looking at Chester Well, even if hes like that, if he takes enough hits to the shield, he should get the proficiency... The guild master swung and hit the shield. Chester let out a scream
"AAAhh"
And dropped the shield onto the ground.
"You must never drop your shield"
"AAAhh"
Chester let out another scream, and let his body drop to the floor. He curled up into a ball (as much as he could), and started to cry again.
"What the hell?"
"AAAhh. Don''t hit me!"
"I''m not going to hit you"
"Hnnn"
Chester stayed in his position for another minute until he calmed down.
"Stand up"
Chester started to slightly move.
"Stand up"
The guild master said it with more force, and Chester finally stood up. Chester stood there, shoulders pulled up, arms to his side, and he was staring at the ground with his head turned to the side.
"I''m sorry, but you wont be able to join the guild for free. In fact, I don''t think you should even try to become a fighter. I am a very good judge of character, and you are just not cut out for it."
Chester just stood there, some tears starting to fall off of his cheeks, onto his triple chin.
"If you are really intent on going into combat, you would have to be a back-line fighter, like a mage or an archer. And seeing as you don''t even have a stat for mana, you only option would be to try and joining the archery guild"
I don''t have a mana stat?
Chapter 9 Epic Lots of Blue Boxes
Of all the things that happened to him today, standing here in front of the guild master, covered in blood shit sweat and tears, from the time that he came to this world earlier today, this hit him the hardest.
I have no mana....
I can''t cast spells...
I''ve been summoned to the fantasy world of my dreams, and I can''t use magic...
He did not even have any tears now. Now he just felt broken.
Without waiting for the guild master, Chester let himself out of the room. He walked through the main training room, into the main guild hall, past the front desk, and out the door. He stood right out side for a bit, looking up at the fighters guild sign. The sword and shield. Something he could no longer hope to attain. He stood there, looking around, at all the people passing by. some wielding weapons, and some carrying baskets of fruit. Will I just have to get a job? Get by in this world of adventure sweeping a shop floor? Even considering that just made him think of all the kinds of magical items would be sold in that store he would work at. Reminding him of his desire to live a life of adventure. Watching the people walk by. Some have magic staves with big crystals on top. Knights in heavy armor perusing magical trinkets sold at a table on the side of the street. A dwarf in light armor, with a shield slung over his back. The fire in Chester started to ignite again. I will be an adventurer. Fuck that guild master-san. Getting back into his idea of how he should speak in this world, he started to use suffixes at the end of names like he saw in his anime and manga.
Stopping a passing beast-kin, Chester asked him,
"Excuse me kind sir beast-dude, could you please tell me what guilds there are in this city?"
The tall and slender beast-man looked down at Chester, Cute little doggy ears hanging off the side of his head.
"My name is not beast dude. It''s Haruff"
"Ssorry sir haruff, could you please tell me what guilds there are in this city?"
"And you are?"
"My name is Chester, I''m new to this city"
"Well, Chester, there¡¯s the merchants guild, *thinking* the blacksmiths guild *thinking*"
Chester cut him off.
"No, I mean adventurers guilds, like the fighters guild"
"Oh, well, there¡¯s the fighters guild, *points up at the fighters guild sign*, the mages guild, the archers guild, and the thieves guild"
Well, the fighters guild is out, and I don''t have mana, so no mages guild either
Please do not even consider the thieves guild
Don''t consider the thieves guild?
Chester imagined himself in a cloak with a hood over his head, hiding in the shadows at night.
I said don''t consider it
Maybe top hat man is right this time. and the guild master did suggest the archers guild.
For some reason Haruff didn¡¯t leave yet, waiting for Chester to snap out of his daydream and respond or something. So Chester asked him another question.
"Where is the archers guild?
"You make a right when you get to the main street"
"Thank you"
As Chester was walking away the beast-man called out to him
"See you around Chester"
What is a baby giant doing here in the city?
Reaching the main road, Chester thought to himself, I''ll show that guild master, I''m going to be the best... Chester stopped himself mid thought. He looked around, expecting a blue box to appear. then he rephrased his thoughts. I''m going to become an adequate archer. A smile stretched across Chester¡¯s face. Walking with a kick in his step, Illusions of grandeur didn''t level up.
Walking down the main road, looking at each sign sticking out of the buildings, Chester was looking for what he assumed would be the sign for the archers guild, a bow. Soon he came to a large fountain in the middle of the road. A pool of water at the ground level, with a pillar in the middle, holding up a large bowl of water, with a stream of water shooting upwards out if it. Seeing it, Chester realized how thirsty he was. He leaned over the edge, cupped his hands, brought water to his mouth and drank. And drank. And drank. A lot of drinking. He then splashed water onto his face, and onto his short hair. And then he realized how much he needed a bath. and how much his ass itched from having sweaty shit all over it. And then, Chester had an idea.
First, he sat down by the edge of the fountain, with his feet sticking in. People were staring but Chester was too focused to notice.
embarrassment resistance has gained a level
The water was nice and cool. He slid over the edge, into the shallow water that reached most of the way up his thighs. He felt coins under his feet, at the bottom of the fountain. And without further ado, Chester squatted down, and pulled his pants down. He proceeded to splash, water all over his ass, scratching and scrubbing all the while. Oooh this feels good. As this was causing quite a scene, one of the nearby mothers, with her hands over her child¡¯s innocent eyes, called over one of the guards.
"Excuse me, what the hell are you doing in the fountain?"
Startled, Chester stood up with a shock.
"I was uh, just, um,..."
Nervous, Chester took a step back, and lost his footing as he slipped on some coins. Apparently there was a dip in the floor of the fountain, and it got a lot deeper. Chester tried to find his footing, but plunged right into the deeper area. At first everything was OK, asides from the fact that Chester could not swim, his body of fat was pretty buoyant, and he was splashing around wildly, in an attempt to save himself.
The guard just stood and watched with everyone else, as Chester flailed around. In the end, his splashing did more harm than good, and Chester capsized. His body flipped over, and he found himself floating, upside down. His panicking before the top half of his body went under water did not leave him with much breath. Now he started to flail with his arms even more. Back on the surface, the guard with all the bystanders were watching a giant ass sticking out of the water, legs kicking into the air, with pants just barely holding on.

In the back of Chester¡¯s mind, he could see 8 bubbles in a line, and they started to disappear one by one, starting from the end.
Chester continued to randomly swing his arms around.

With his newly acquired swimming skill, Chester was finally able to flip himself over. With pale blue skin, and purple lips, he grabbed onto the side of the fountain. Chester opened his mouth, and a stream of water started to pour out. The water spraying didn''t stop until there were two gallons of water on the ground.
You are no longer drowning
Chester stayed there for a while, taking big gasps of air.

After getting some color back into his skin, Chester called out.
"Help me! I''m drowning!"
The two guards stood there, looking at Chester holding onto the side of the fountain, clearly not drowning.
"Why are you just standing there?!, I need help!"
The two guards gave each other a look. one of them walked over to Chester and the other followed. Each guard grabbed one of Chesters hands, and they started to pull. Chester didn''t move an inch.
[Guard #2] "lets try getting him onto the shallow area"
one of the guards spoke to chester.
[Guard #1] "Hey, can''t you just pull yourself up onto the shallow area? It''s right next to you"
"No i cant! I''m fucking drowning!"
After a while, even Chester couldn''t deny he wasn''t drowning. The guards let go. Chester pulled his pants back up around his waist, and started to pull himself over onto the shallow area. As he did so, he made sure to grab a few handfuls of the coins and stuff them into his pockets. The guards saw him grabbing the coins, but the situation was already so weird they didn''t mention it. From the shallow end, Chester could only get himself to lean half way onto the ledge of the fountain, and the guards had to help him get all the way over.
[Guard #1] "Maybe you should try to stay away from the fountain from now on"
Chester didn''t respond, and soon, the guards walked away, and the crowd of people watching slowly dispersed.
Chester continued his walk towards the archery guild as if nothing happened. He was walking slowly, taking in all the sights, the different races, and the different shops and tables selling things.

The blue box reminded him that he hadn''t had any sweets in a long time, and he instinctively felt his pockets for a candy bar.
"Man i''m hungry"
The sun was still in the sky, and it was a warm day, his clothes were already starting to dry. Even though he had just taken a swim in the fountain, beads of sweat were starting to form on his forhead and upper lip. This is a good time to tell you about his upper lip. First of all, it was starting to get sweaty, second, it has those hairs that have never been shaved, the kind that start to grow on a 14 year old boys upper lip. Anyways, I digress...
when did this become a narrarrated story?
Chester soon found himself standing infront of a large door, with a sign of a bow and arrow above it.
"Here i am, and here my adventuree begins!"
"Excuse me, can i get by?"
A human male ruined Chesters "moment".
"Sorry"
Chester stepped aside, and once the human male opened the door, chester followed him inside.
He quickly noticed that the inside of the archers guild was almost identical to the fighters guild.

The room was filled with round tables, surrounded by chairs. Chester walked along the side to the front of the room, and made his way to the reception counter. As he approached, he heard some arguement going on, and a large man started to angrily walk away from the counter in chesters direction. When the large man reached chester, there was no room for him to pass by, as chester was filling most of the space between the counter and a table.
"Out of my way"
The large man growled with a frustrated expression on his face. Chester looked from side to side, searching for a way to go.

The large man was almost yelling.
Someone called out from behind the large man.
"Tony, relax man"
Chester started to panic, and froze in his spot, staring at the mans face.
"That''s it, you asked for it!"
The large man kneeled down, almost all the way to the floor. Chester leaned over to see what he was doing. The large man clenched his fist towards the ground behind him, and activated a skill.
"TOASTIE!"
The large man threw an uppercut, and as chester was leaning over to see what was going on, the uppercut hit chester square in the face.
Usually what happens when someone is hit with one of tony''s toastie powered up uppercuts, (say that ten times fast,) is that the reciever of the blow will be launched a couple of feet into the air. Howerver, chesters weight would just not let that happen. Instead, as blood was squirting out of chesters nose, his head whipped backwards, and it would have probably broken his neck if the huge fat deposit in the back of chesters neck didn''t stop his heads motion.

"Tony, you know theres no fighting in the guild hall!"
As chester started to cry (loudly) tony found another way around, and made his way through the tables.
"Hey are you ok?"
Chester was calmed down by the sound of a sweet voice. He opened his teary eyes, and saw a human girl, a little shorter than he was, standing infront of him.
"Tony can get real fired up sometimes, just try to stay out of his way"
Even though most people would consider her an average looking girl, chester couldn''t find the words to respond, mezmerized by her beauty.
And then it happened.
"Hey are you ok?"
She asked.
"Why are you making that weird face?"
Chester has just ejaculated in his pants
Ineterfaces do not give out this kind of information, and chesters interface should only be broadcasting to chester, but for some reason, the girl infront of chester was the one to see it. She was too shocked by the content to realize that there was something strange about this blue box.
"What the Fuck you pervert!"
And now she activated a skill.
"Triple kick!"
And before chester could wipe the contorted look of pleasure from his face, he recieved three rapid kicks to his groin.
In an unheard of feat of fatness, chesters flopped over belly blocked all three.

She turned around and quickly walked away. moments later tony showed up again.
"What the hell did you do to jesse?"
Tony went for a jab to chesters already bleeding nose. Right before the impact, chesters new skill Living Fat Carapace activated. Chesters left breast popped out of the top of his shirt, and recieved the punch from tony.

"What the hell is that?"
Tony spoke out the words everyone around was thinking.
Chesters new skill Living Fat Carapace only had the option to block and not retract, so his breast just sat there, flopping over the collar of his shirt, hanging there, with some blood from his nose smeared on it.
