 Abbreviated World History

    It¡¯s been 200 years since world war 5. This was a war that devastated most of the planet and was a wake up call for those in power. This war killed 70% of the worlds population. Australia and its surrounding countries, Alaska, Hawaii, the southern tip of the Africa and South America, the northern tip of Russia, the western side of China and its surrounding countries, Central America, these are all lands that were erased from the face of the Earth.


    With the constant rise in technology, wars became much more devestating then ever before, and the last world war served as a reminder of what would happen if another war broke out.


    Due to this the surviving leading scientists were tasked to come together and develop an ¡°alternative¡± world where if there¡¯s any disputes, countries could go in and battle it out, it would be a way for countries to settle there disputes without destroying the world.Royal Road is the home of this novel.     Though it took them 50 years, the scientists created the worlds greatest mega AI Brain called Meg. This AI would create the virtual platform for the world to fight.


    Through the next 150 years Meg slowly perfected the place where countries would be able to fight it out, she called this place the battle ground. In this battle field, there will be no modern weapons, it would be a battlefield that would test the skills of the countries.


    In addition to building this battlefield for counties, Meg also slowly developed an alternative world where humans would be able to go and experience a new world, in other words she created a virtual reality for humanity, she called this world Incarnation, and this brand new world was finally about to be released.


    During these 200 years, humanity slowly recovered, and the worlds population shot back right up to 3 billion, with there being only 6 mega countries (alliances) in the entire world. The North America alliance, the Southern America alliance, the European Alliance, the Africa Alliance, and the Eastern Alliance. All the inhabitants of these Alliances were highly anticipating the release of Incarnation.

 Chapter 1

    In a white room, a disembodied robotic feminine voice could be heard talking.


    ¡°Welcome to Incarnation. Please hold still while I scan your body¡±


    As the voice finished talking a green light slowly envelop the only person in the white room.


    Shortly after the person was scanned, holographic image of the person appeared in the room.


    ¡°Scanning complete. Because of the level of realism in Incarnation, you are not allowed to change your body shape. Furthermore as your body in real life changes, your avatar will also be adjusted to match your real life changes. You can however remove any blemishes or scars you may have or add them as well. Would you like to change anything?¡±


    Though the robotic voice finished talking the person in the room did not respond immediately, rather he had a dazed expression as he long at his holographic image, almost as if he did not recognize the holographic image of himself.


    Looking at the image he saw a large man that looked to be in his early 20¡¯s, was about 6¡¯ tall with short dark hair. This person had a muscular body that could leave any man jealous, with scars of all different sizes in various spots in his body.


    Though he had a fairly handsome face, and an attractive body that many woman would find attractive , if one was to asked what were his most distinctive features, one would say it was his pair of profound eyes that would instill fear into anyone. He had deep, imposing, grey colored eyes that made a person feel like they were being stared down by a savage beast. Anyone that met his gaze would feel like they are prey that are about to fall victim to some pre-historic savage beast.


    Looking at the image, the young men could not help but be loss in thought as memories of his life spread through this mind.


    He was born to a very rich and powerful Family in this world. His maternal grandfather held a very high position in the North American Alliance (one of the few true decision makers of the alliance). Though his paternal grandparents had already passed away, his father had inherited Lions Enterprises, a leading, multi-billion dollar robotics corporation in the world. Both money and power, one can say that he was born with a golden spoon in his mouth.


    When he was born, it was found that he was born with unusually high intelligence and aptitude. Anything that he press his mind to he could quickly accomplish. By the time he was 5, he was already able to speak the 6 national languages of the 6 countries in the world. When he was 7, he had already passed the national test high schoolers needed to pass in order to graduate, not only had he passed it, but he had gotten a perfect score on it. If it wasn¡¯t for him being too young and his parents refusing to send him to college, he mostly like would¡¯ve already graduated from there as well.


    To hone his discipline, his parents had signed him up for martial arts¡ªa way for him to hone both his body and mind. Though his accomplishments in martial arts did not match his accomplishment in academics, he was still considered to be fairly talented in martial arts.


    He was someone that aptly fit the one in a generation genius. With his innate talents and the pedigree he was born into, it was widely believe that he would be one of the most powerful people in the world when he grew up with both money and authority.


    The promising future that he had took a very nasty turn when he was 10.


    On this day he was returning to North America from the European Alliance with his parents after they concluded a business deal in what used to be France. Due to the advances in technology, this flight for Europe to North America would have only taken around an hour and half over the Atlantic Ocean.


    Unfortunately on there flight path they encountered a category 5 tide phenomena. These tide phenomena¡¯s were something that randomly appeared over the oceans after the devastations the 5th world war brought. Scientists were still unsure on how they formed exactly, however what was know was that they were impossible to track and predict.Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent.     A tide phenomena was essentially a super hurricane that stretch all the way from the ocean to the stratosphere. A common category 1 tide phenomena had the same amount of strength as a category 5 hurricane, and in addition to having the same characteristics of a hurricane it also had something extra, something that gave it an extra umph compared to hurricanes: lightning.


    These tide phenomena was one of the reasons that humanity¡¯s population had not yet recovered to what it was before the 5th world war. Whenever a tide phenomena happened near land, the damage that it caused was unimaginable, with the most damage being done in the first century passing the world war.


    The only good thing was that Tide Phenomena¡¯s were somewhat rare, and a category 1 TP only happened once every 2-3 years, and with each increase in category, they become all the more rare. Including the category 5 TP that hit this plane on this particular day, since the 5th world war 200 years ago, this was the 3rd one.


    The category 5 TP appearing out of nowhere was truly a disaster that descended on the Lions jet plane flying over the Atlantic. Luckily the Jet plane was one of the most advanced piece of technology in the world. Since the moment that TPs started appearing, humanity had been rapidly advancing their technologies in order to survive these events. With the current level of technology, a city could easily weather a category 1 TP, and manage a category 2 TP. It would take a category 3 TP to cause any damage to current city¡¯s. In addition to this, it was also rumored that the technology needed to create plasma shields that could defend an entire city was near completion.


    The outer layer was built with the latest manufacturing ability and the best metals in the entire planet. A category 1 TP would not be able to destroy it, and it would take a category 2 TP to be able to damage it. Furthermore the inside of the plane was also processed with materials that would only receive damage from a category 2 TP.


    In addition to this the plane also had an emergency cabin in case of unforeseen circumstances like encountering a TP. The cabin itself was made with the prototype technology of creating a plasma shield. With this plasma shield prototype, the cabin was rumored to be able to survive under a category 4.


    Taken their 10 years old son, the couple quickly went into the cabin in hopes that with all the defense mechanism of the plane they would be able to survive this disaster.


    The cabin itself was fairly small and could barely fit the family of 3. Furthermore, the cabin was also see through, so within a minute of then getting in they were able to see the outside of the plane slowly being destroyed by the TP. Hugging the their child in a protective manner, the parents closed their eyes and slowly waited for it to be over. Within all the damage that the plane was taken, the 10 year old child slowly lost consciousness............


    A long time later, the child slowly woke up. Waking up, he found him self in a small, dark room that he barely fit in.


    ¡°Mother!!!, Father!!!¡± The boy screamed as he tried to get out of the room.


    Eventually he found a latch that he pulled and a door in the room slowly opened out.


    Looking around he found that the room he was in was still within the cabin that his parents had gotten into when the TP hit the plane. It looked to have been one last emergency measure in the cabin. Realizing that his parents put him in that small room so that he can survive, he looked around trying to find his parents.


    Looking around he found that the cabin was mostly destroyed and through what remain of the cabin he saw a sparkling beach side. On that beach he saw two humans lying down.


    ¡°Mom, dad,¡± he yelled as he ran to the two lying humans.


    As he got closer to the bodies, he saw them littered with cuts, broken bones, and dried blood. It was at that moment that he realized, that the 2 bodies in the beach were corpses.


    After a long time, and arranging graves for his parents, the boy started to investigate his surroundings. He made the emergency room in the cabin his base of operations, while surviving with the meal solutions that were in the small room. The meal solutions were enough to last him for 1-2 years.


    After months of grieving, burying, and investigating the boy found that he was in a deserted large island that had a lush forest in its center.


    Well maybe deserted isn¡¯t the right word to describe the island. The island was home to many terrifying beasts.


    After the 5th world war, the animals in the world started evolving to survive in the post apocalyptic world that humans had created.


    The animals grew stronger, smarter and bigger. They could no longer be categorized as animals, but rather terrifying beasts. They were another by product of the 5th world war, and also another reason as to why humanities population was still small compared to what it was before the 5th world war.


    In this uninhabited island, the small boy fought to survive after the death of his parents.........


    ¡°Do you wish to change any features about your body?¡± The robotic voice asked the young men again.


    Slowly coming to himself, the young man shakes his head and said ¡°no¡±

 Chapter 2

    ¡°You have chosen not to change any features in game. Please keep in mind that if you ever wish to change certain features you would be able to change them whenever you log into the game.¡± The voice said after hearing the young men.


    Continuing on with the starting process the, the voice continued asking questions and providing information.


    ¡°Please choose a name.¡±


    ¡°Rebirth¡±


    ¡°All new players start out as Humans, if you wish to change your race or bloodline, you will have to find the correct process in game.¡±


    In Incarnation all new players automatically started as a human, there were no additional option for race. A person was however able to change their body characteristics by achieving certain things in game.


    ¡°Please choose what town you would like to start in, if you are not sure where you want to start, you can choose random.¡±


    As the voice ask this, Rebirth could not help but think amount the limited information he knew about the in game world.


    In Incarnation there were several continents, however only the first continent was currently available. Furthermore each continent in game was equal to the total size of all the remaining continents on earth.


    The first continent was aptly name New Beginnings, and was divided into 5 empires that were situated in the North, South, East, West, and central parts of the continent. Due to the sheer size of the continent, in addition to the 5 Empires, there were also hundreds of smaller kingdoms that paid tributes to these Empires.


    ¡°Random¡± Replied rebirth after mulling it over briefly.


    ¡°RGN has started...3...2...1...your starting town will be the town of Homunculus located in Ever Heat kingdom at the south west of the continent. Due to the town being randomly selected, the temple that you will belong to will also be randomly selected. Temp RGN started...3...2...1... congratulations you will belong to the Lilith Temple. The setting up of your Incarnation Avatar has been completed. My last duty before you are allowed to start the game is to show how to access your status screen. All you have to do is think the word ¡®Status¡¯ in your head.¡±


    Though he had some questions about the whole temple thing, Rebirth decided to look it up later in the game website.


    ¡°Please thing the word ¡®Status¡¯ in your head¡± the voice repeated again.

    ¡°Thank you for completing the Avatar creation process. As a new inhabitant to this world, you will receive a beginners welcome package. Please enjoy and grow in Incarnation¡±


    Shortly after the voice finished talking a bright light enveloped Rebirth, forcing him to close his eyes.


    When he opened his eyes he found himself standing next to a beautiful fountain with sculptures of scantly dressed man and women all around.


    The female sculptures were wearing different designs bikinis or micro bikinis. The most attention drawing sculpture was the female holding a trident on the fountain due to her gorgeous appearance and the fact that she was only wearing a sea shell around her hips and no other article of clothing.


    Man on the other hand were mostly dressed with short pants or speedos.


    Looking closely at the sculptures surrounding the fountain, Rebirth noticed that many of these sculptures looked very old and had an air of antiquity to them. Almost as if they had been created in a time long forgotten.


    Taking his attention away from the sculpture, Rebirth looked around for the first time and started judging the town.


    The town itself looked very large, and had an architecture still that resembled Ancient Greece. Just like the sculptures, the town itself looked as it they had been built long ago.


    After admiring the town for a while, Rebirth slowly walked to the fountain, sat down on the steps surrounding the fountain. As he sat down he could not help but extend a hand into the fountain.


    As his hand got wet, he could not help but Marcel at the realism of the game. Everything so far has felt exactly the same as reality. The hot wind that occasionally blew, the cold water running threw his fingers, the hard and cold cement he was currently sitting on....everything felt the same as they would in reality.Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions.


    After marveling at the degree of realism for a while, Rebirth connected to the internet and went to the games home page in order to due some research on the game.


    The first thing he looked up were temples. Temples were essentially the place that a player would go to in order to develop their skills and classes. There were thousands of temples spread throughout the continent, with some temples only being available in some towns while others were spread throughout the entire continent. This was why depending on where a player choose to start, different temples might be available.


    Both small temple and large temples had their own advantages and disadvantages. The biggest advantage of small temples over large temple was that small temples had unique traits and special perks that could not be found at large temples and they also offered a much greater degree of freedom. Though its biggest disadvantage is that it does not give nearly enough assistance as a large temple to help a player evolve there class.


    The class that a player chooses is determined by the temple the player chooses. Small temples would typically have more hidden, niche, or specialized classes than large temples, however when it comes to the degree of rarity for hidden classes, large temples is the winner for this. In addition to determining what class a player can choose, a temple also helps them evolve those classes.


    In Incarnation, classes could be evolved, and the higher the evolution, the stronger the class. It is unknown how far a class could be evolved, however what is know is that a small temple could help a player evolve up to their 3rd evolution, while a large temple up to the 7th evolution.


    The town of Homunculus is a relatively large town in the kingdom of Ever Heart with a population of 500,000 and it was known for its hot weather and constant fights with monsters. In terms of sheer size it is as big as the royal capital of the kingdom. The town itself is also older than the kingdom, and it is rumored that long ago, it was the capital of a kingdom that was on the verge of being able to rival an Empire.


    When it comes to temples, the town has some 150 different temples, with 100 of them being relatively medium size temples, 15 being large temples, 30 being small temples, and 5 being temples that only exist in the town.


    The Lilith temple was a temple that only existed in the town of Homunculus. Due to it being such a small temple that is only available in a town of a mediocre kingdom, Rebirth could not find any helpful information about it online.


    Before leaving the fountain area, the last thing he looked up was some basic information on attributes.


    In Incarnation there were only 4 attributes. They were strength, constitution (every point in constitution was 10 points in health), dexterity and intelligence (every point in intelligence was 10 points in mana). Every player started with 10 points in very attribute and every 5 levels they would gain 5 attribute points that they could freely distribute. Aside from the 4 basic attributes and 2 status gauges, there also hidden attributes and gauges that players had no control over or can not see. One example was stamina. It was thought that stamina was affected by the combination of all 4 stats.


    After getting up from the fountain, Rebirth opened the biggeners package that was given by the system. In the package there was 10 loads of bread, 1 silver coin, and a novice sword. The novice sword was sharp, low damage, and overall meant for beginners.


    Walking threw the city, only one word could describe it: Huge. Luckily for players this was a game. Otherwise if this were reality it would¡¯ve take them half an hour to get from one side of the city to the other while driving a car going 40mph.


    No matter how he thought about it, he could not understand how transportation system worked in the city. Rather than walking everywhere, simply by focusing on a spot and willing yourself to appear there, you¡¯d get transported there right away. It was truly mind boggling.


    Using this transportation method, Rebirth quickly explored the city and its function. As he was exploring the city, he kept getting closer and closer to the city gate. When he was about a mile away from the city gate, he smelled an amazing aroma coming from a near by small restaurant.


    Noticing him looking around for that enchanting smell, the restaurant attendant could not help but laugh and call out to him.


    ¡°Hiya, based on your dazed look, I bet your a new adventurer correct?¡± Adventurer is what the local inhabitants of Incarnation called players.


    Turning around towards the voice that called him, Rebirth could not help but be slightly shocked.


    The restaurant attendant that called him was a mature woman who looked to be in her early-mid 30s. She had long wavy red hair, freckles, and a curvy body high lighted by the apron she was wearing.


    ¡°Hello, earth to adventurer¡± the lady repeated after seeing the adventurers spaces out look.


    ¡°Ah, ah, yes I¡¯m new, how did you know?¡±


    ¡°Haha, it¡¯s very obvious considering the way your standing in the middle of the row looking at everything. My names Hira, I¡¯m the owner of this lovely establishment.¡±


    ¡°I¡¯m Rebirth, today¡¯s my first day here¡± he responded with a blush on his face.


    ¡°Hmm, since your new here, about running an errand for me? I¡¯m running low on rabbit meat, so can you hunt a few for me? You can find them right out of the town gate. I¡¯ll recompense you very well¡±


    Ding: Hira is asking you to get 20 pieces of rabbit meat for her. Do you want to accept this quest?


    ¡°Ah yes, I¡¯ll go get your rabbit meat right away¡± Rebirth replies before turning and walking towards the town gates.


    Walking out the town gates, Rebirth saw a large road heading off into the unknowns with plains located on both sides of the road. Monsters could be seen everywhere on the plains but oddly enough there were no monsters on the road. Along with the monsters, you could also see many players fighting them. From what he saw, the further away from the gate the stronger the monsters.


    The rabbits that Hira tasked him to hunt were relatively close to the town gates.


    Going near an isolated rabbit, with his sword drawn, Rebirth slowly examine it. The thing he noticed right away was that the rabbits in game had nothing in coming with the cute and cuddly rabbits in reality.


    This rabbit was about a meter tall, had red fur, red eyes, pointy ears, razor sharp teeth, and the aura of a ferocious beast.


    Focusing on the rabbit, tiny letters identifying it slowly appeared above its head.

    As Rebirth got closer, the rabbit came to notice him when he was about 3 yards away from it.


    Seeing a human prey approaching it, the rabbit, bared it¡¯s teeth and took a giant leap towards Rebirth with its mouth wide open.


    Seeing the rabbit jumping towards him to but him, Rebirth quickly side stepped to the side, rush forward, and while passing b the rabbit slashed his sword towards the lunging rabbits neck.


    Critical hit. Fatal hit.


    Seeing the dead rabbit slowly dissolve and leave bones, meat, and it¡¯s leather behind. Rebirth could not help but shake his head and look for into the distance while thinking to himself that those monsters in that island he had spend a long time in were a lot stronger than this demented rabbit.

 Chapter 3

    The island that the airplane landed was a fairly large island that was home to hundreds, maybe thousands of wild animals. Before the war, this would¡¯ve been an island that would¡¯ve been charged already or at least caught on camera. However, after the war, certain areas of the ocean were covered in a type of electomagnetic wave that caused those parts of the ocean to not be viewable by satelliate. Furthermore, this island was not on any charted maps as the island itself did not exist before the war. Rather it was an island that came to be after all the destruction in the world happened. It was a piece of land that was blasted off from a continent. If there were to be a search party for the down plane, it would be a long time before any rescue party might come.


    Realizing this fact, the small boy that was the only surviving person from the plane crash realized that he could not keep wallowing over the death of his parents. For his parents that were no longer alive, as the sole survivor, he had to keep living.


    The meal solution he had could only last him so long and before they run out he will have to find a new source of food.


    And on the same day the little boy came to this decision and started his exploration of the island, the boy had his first near death experience on the island.


    Several hundred feet from the beach the jungle started. While walking towards the forest the boy slowly admire the large trees.


    Walking into the jungle, the boy saw many fruits hanging high on the trees and many mushrooms on the floor that he could not judge weather they were eatable or not.


    After walking a few minutes into the jungle, the boy suddenly felt goosebumps throuout his body and felt it a bit hard to breath. Looking around he had the feeling that something was watching him but he just couldn¡¯t find what it was.


    This feeling was proven correct a few minutes later when a large animal appeared in front of him. This animal had an appearance of a leopard on steroids. It was very much, reaching almost 3 meters tall, which bulging muscles all over its body. On its farce it had large pointy teeth, but perhaps the most frighting part of it was its eyes that gleamed with a trace of intelligence.


    Seeing the giant leapord suddenly appeared in front of it, the boy did what anyone would do when they incounter a ferocious animal without a weapon: turn around and run.


    As the leopard saw the small boy run away, what appeared to have been a sneer slows formed on its face.


    Watching the boy slowly get further away, the leopard decided that it had given the boy enough of a head start and started chasing after it.


    Before the boy even realized it, a giant paw with razor sharp claws was descending on it. Simply on instincts, the boy quickly dived to the floor in a diagonal line trying to avoid the paw descending on it. Though the boy succeeded, the tip of claws manatched to leave a small scratch on his back.


    Quickly adjusting him self, the boy quickly sped off from the leopard.


    As the leopard saw the boy run away again, a laughing expression slowly emerged on its face.


    Again, as it saw the boy get a little further away from it, the leopard moved and quickly caught up to the boy with its left paw coming down on the boy again; only for the boy to once again dodge the pawn while only sustaining a small scratch on its back.


    As the boy started running away again, he turned his head around to look at that leopard, and it was at that moment that he saw the leopard making what seemed to have been a smirk.


    And then the boy realized it. It was not not that he dodged the leopards paw, but rather that the leopard had let him dodge it. It was treating him as a toy, something that the leopard could slowly take his time and enjoy hunting.


    When the boy stared exploring the jungle, he had not run into anything initially, so he had walked further and further into the jungle with only taking a small break every now and then to observe his surroundings.


    Looking ahead of him, the boy realized that even if he ran at full strength, it would still take him at least 5 minutes to reach the emergency room in the cabin. Reaching that room was his only hope of surviving against the leopard, as the leopard would not be able to destroy the defense mechanism of the room.This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road.     If the leopard had hunted him at full strength right from the beginning, then he would have no hope at all of reaching the cabin. However now that the leopard was essentially playing with him, he had a slim chance of reaching the cabin. That¡¯s why although he felt despair when he saw the smirk on the leopards face, instinctively he knew that using the leopards play fullness he would have a small chance at survival.


    For the next 3 minutes, a small play slowly played out every few feet¡¯s between a boy and the leopard. The boy would get a little distance from the leopard, and then the leopard would immediately reach the boy and attack him only to have the boy dodge at the last minute while only sustaining a new scratch somewhere in his body.


    As the boy got closer and closer to the exit, a feeling of excitement and hope slowly krepr into him. As soon as he left the forest is chances of survival would go up a lot since the cabin was fairly close to the forest.


    With each escape from death the boy was slowly calculating how far the leopard would let him get away before initiating a new round of can you dodge this.


    Through experiencing dozens of close call he had found that the leopard would generally only let him get away some two to three hundred feet away from it. From the exit of the forest to the cabin there was less than two hundred feet. As long as he dodge once right after he left the forest or at least very near the exit, he would have a chance to survive as long as he made it to the cabin before the leopard started a new round of the game.


    That was why when he finally saw the exit, a smile crept into his face. And it was this very smile that triggered the leopard to finally end the game.


    During the last few rounds of the game, as the boy kept riding him, the look of despair on the boy slowly slipped away and a trace of hope slowly emerged on it.


    Whenever the leopard played this game with other prey in the forest, this part was always his favorite. Just like the boy, a lot of his other prey in the forest would slowly gain hope of survival after they had dodge his attacks a few times.


    When he decided to end the game and kill his prey, a look of absolute despair will appear on its preys face after they had experience the hope of survival. Seeing his preys face go from hope to despair once they realized they truly had no chance of escape brought him a sense of euphoria that he could never find.


    That was why whenever he saw his prey slowly gain hope when he played this game, he became extremely happy and pleased with himself.


    However, oddly enough that sense of happiness did not come to him when he saw the look of hope that had appeared on his new prey. And when he saw that smile emerge on his preys face when it saw the exit, it¡¯s instants told him that if he continued playing this game, somehow his prey might escape him.


    As soon as this though cross its mind, the leopard became enraged and decided to end this game immediately.


    Once the leopard had this change, the smile on the boys face disappeared. An oppressive might suddenly descended on the boy. Once the boy felt this might, a sense of death suddenly overwhelmed the boy. He realized that if he did not dodge the leopard this team he would truly die.


    Using all his strength in his body, the boy lept forward in an attempt to survive.


    Blood suddently erupted from the boy.


    Though the boy had somehow dodge the worse of the leopards attack, the leopards claw had still reach his back.


    On his back, three deep claw marks emerged from his right shoulder stretching all the way down to his left hip.


    Though the wound was deep, luckily the claw itself was not able to reach the boys spine, and aside from his shoulder that felt broken, the boy did not feel any other bones broken.


    Slowly attempting to get up from the ground where he landed after his leap, and the push from the leopards strike, the boy turned his head to see the enraged leopard as it was about to rush towards him again.


    It was at that moment that the leopard was about to rush at him that something suddenly fell from above the leopard, high into the tree. Seeing something falling towards him, the leopard suddenly lept backwards as it felt that if it dared to continue moving forward it would die.


    And right in front of where the leopard was something suddently crashed into the ground, shaking the entire earth for hundreds of feet and raising a cloud of dust.


    As the dust was slowly blown away by the wind, the boy saw that what had fallen from the tree was a giant, four armed silver gorilla. This gorrilla was even bigger than the leopard, and on two of its muscular arms it was holding a wooden log.


    Looking at the face of the gorilla, the boy noticed that the gorilla had a pleased smile on its face, the smile a person would typically have when a plan works out great.


    Looking pass the gorilla, the boy noticed that aside from an enraged look in its face, the leopard was now also wincing in pain. Though he had dodge the falling gorilla at the last moment, it seemed the gorilla had still hit it wit the log it was holding in its arms.


    Looking between the leopard and the gorilla, the boy came to the realization that just as the leopard had treated him as prey, the gorilla had also treated it him as bait to draw out the leopard.


    As the leopard saw the gorilla standing in its way, it gave an enraged howl as it turn around and ran away from it. It would escape today and then come looking for the gorilla once it had recover from its wounds.


    Watching the leopard run away, the gorilla gave a pleased laugh as it ran after it.


    Watching as the leopard ran away from the gorilla, a sense of powerless in his body slowly descended on the boy.


    With sheer will power, the boy ignored the pain he was feeling and slowly got up. He knew that if he stayed here he would surely die, that his only chance of survival was reaching the cabin.


    In an almost unconscious state, the boy slowly finished walking out of the forest and walking towards the cabin......

 Chapter 4

    Swinging his sword for a second time, a notice suddenly rang in his head.


    [Ding: Hiras ingredient gathering quest has been competed. 20 rabbits have been killed and their meat attained. Please hand in quest items to obtain your reward.]


    Though by Rebirths standards the rabbits were fairly weak, he still asserted his abilities and techniques the best he could against them. If there was one important survival lesson about what not to do when facing and enemy when he was on the island, was that no matter how weak the opponent was or appeared to be, always face them with your full strength and don¡¯t give them a chance to escape or survive. Otherwise you never knew when they would come back to hunt you.


    Before leaving, Rebirth slowly took notice of the loot the rabbits dropped. In total he attain 20 pieces of rabbit meats, 20 pieces of rabbit fur, and 3 copper coins. This low drop rate for copper coins made Rebirth realized that the silver coin he received from the beginners gift box was very valuable.


    In Incarnation, the money system, in ascending order in terms of value, consisted of copper coins, silver coins, gold coins and platinum coins. The standard exchange rate was 1:100. In other words 100 copper coins= 1 solver coin; 100 silver coins= 1 gold coin; and 100 gold coins = 1 platinum coin.


    While walking back to town, Rebirth slowly thought back to his hunting of the rabbits earlier. With this quick fight against the rabbits, he realized that combat in game resemble a lot reality. In fact there was virtually no difference between fighting in game compare to reality.


    His body moved exactly as he wanted without any problems. Furthermore, depending on what he and his opponent react to certain actions, special opportunities will be created.


    For example, with the first rabbit Rebirth killed, because of the actions that the rabbit took when they fought, Rebirths attack ended up doing a lot more damage to the rabbit. The attack itself had the initial damage Rebirth would¡¯ve caused by swinging his sword, the extra damage that the rabbit would have received depending on where the attack landed (the sword strike landed on the neck), and also the momentum the rabbit had behind its leap. All of these things resulted in the rabbit taken fatal damage from only one attack. It would take 2-3 attacks from Rebirth for a rabbit to die, and this was only because whenever he attacked the rabbit his attacks always landed on an unprotected spot. If it was another player, they would¡¯ve needed a lot more attacks to kill the rabbit.


    In addition to this, while he was fighting his 5th rabbit, he also tested the rabbits ability to take advantage of an opening. For some reason, though the 5th rabbit was also lvl 2, it was far more carful and prudent then all the other rabbits he had fought. This rabbit left his guard up the entire time, did not do any needless attacks, and was very vigilant against his opponent.


    Against this rabbit, Rebirth intentionally left an opening to see what the rabbit would do. Thrusting his sword towards the rabbit, the rabbit quickly dodge it by hoping to the left. Looking at Rebirth, the rabbit realized that he had lost his balance with the last attack, so taking this opportunity it leapt towards Rebirth, attacking the opening it saw.


    However, losing his balance was just an act that Rebirth put on to see what how the rabbit would react. As soon as the rabbit leapt towards him, Rebirth quickly regained his balance, and swung his sword at the neck of the rabbit.


    Unlike the other rabbits, this rabbit also had an additional drop: a skill book.This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.

    The know skills in Incarnation typically are divided into 5 levels: common, uncommon, rare, unique, and epic.


    Beginning from uncommon, skill levels had different mastery levels, with each mastery level providing a great boost in the skills effects. Aside from a special few common skills, most common skills level could not be increased.


    Seeing that the rabbit leap skill was a common skill, and the skill description itself didn¡¯t interest him, Rebirth decided not to learn the skill.


    This small experiment with the rabbit proved to things. One was that even amongst the same monster species, without any identification, some are stronger than others. If this level 2 rabbit had continued to grow it would have undoubtedly become a fearsome monster. The second thing it proved was that the monsters in game had some back form of intelligence and are able to react to your movements.


    Looking online, he found that new players often termed these rabbits as the gate keepers to Hell. At te beginning many players often died to these rabbits due to the real life fighting methods that the game implemented. Prior to Incarnation, there was no true vrmmorps. While there were some games that utilized virtual reality technology, the Ai of the in game monsters and NPCs were not very advance.


    Incarnation was a true marvel of technology that allowed for there to be a lot more variance in game play than what anyone that was possible ever before.


    With the new fighting methods, it was only natural that it took players a while to get used to it. In this time, being bitten to death by a rabbit was a common nightmare that new players often experienced.


    ¡°Oh, back so soon? Ah, was 20 rabbits too much? I forgot new adventurers have problem hunting rabbits...¡±


    A charming voice roused Rebirth from his thoughts. Looking up he found that he unknowingly returned back to Hira¡¯s restaurant.


    Quickly shaking his head, Rebirth took out the 20 pieces of meat he received from the rabbits.


    As Rebirth took out the rabbit meat from his inventory, he could not help but take another look at Hira. When he talked with her earlier, due to that being his first interaction with a woman in many years, he had not paid much attention to her.


    Though he tried to hide it as he took out the rabbit meat, his eyes could not help but be drawn to Hiras large breasts.


    ¡°!!AH!! So quick....¡±Hira replied with a slightly shocked voice.

    Immediately following that notice, a 2nd noticed appeared in front of Rebirth informing him that he leveled up to level 1.


    Looking at Hiras surprise expression, Rebirth could not help but chuckle.


    Quickly regaining her composure seeing Rebirth chuckle, Hira gave a playful glare to Rebirth


    ¡°Stop laughing. I guess I can¡¯t judge you the same way as I do other new Adventurers, most of them were barely even able to defeat 2 rabbits before abandoning my request. But you....you were able to kills those rabbits so fast....maybe if I use you, I¡¯ll finally be able to make the rabbit breakfast I¡¯ve always wanted to make. Can you come here very early tomorrow morning?¡±


    [Ding: Hiras hidden quest unlocked. Restaurant owner Hira has always dreamed of proving the town of Homunculus with a rabbit breakfasts.     As Hira puffed out her chest, Rebirths eye could not help but hey drawn to those amazing assets that were emphasized by the tight apron on her.


    Taking a gulp, Rebirth quickly nodded while bidding goodbye to Hira.


    As a person that was removed from society for many years and spend every day fighting for survival, Rebirth never actually experience his puberty, and now interacting with a mature women like Hira who where¡¯s a tight fighting apron, that highlighted her large breast, smooth belly and long legs, Rebirth found himself often gazing at her. Therefore he decided to leave before she caught him gazing at her.


    However, what he didn¡¯t realized was that Hira had long realized he was gazing at her, so as she saw him turn around to leave with a red face, she could not help but laugh.

 Chapter 5

    After leaving Hiras restaurant, Rebirth decided to pay a visit to the main trading site that was located in the center of every town in game.


    The main trading site was a place that players could go to trade items or sell items with other players. It did not matter if the players were located on the opposite side of the continent. As long as they used the main trading site they would be able to trade items. The only thing downside was that only large towns had a main trading site. Giving the sheer size of the town of Homunculus, it was not surprise that the town had a trading site.


    Heading to the trading site, Rebirth decided to look up how hidden quests are received. On Incarnations main site, there were 2 possible ways to receive hidden quests listed.


    One way was uncovering a hidden item or hidden NPC that may lead to a hidden quest. And the other way was meeting certain criteria¡¯s or finding hidden pieces when completing a common quest.


    Thinking back to the specifics of Hiras hidden quest and the conversation he had with her, it was most likely related to the 2nd method to unlock hidden quests. Most likely the criteria''s that have to be met to get the hidden quest was completing the quest completely the first time received and completing it within a certain time frame as well.


    Lookin up Hiras common quest online, he found that not many people liked it. It was a quest that Hira gave to new players that only offered a low amount of experience and money as a reward. Granted that considering that the quest only asked for rabbit meat, the rewards themselves were decent. But the issue was that whilethe quest had players hunt one of the most weakest monsters in the game, for new players, these rabbits were a nightmare, and for semi-veteran players the quest rewards were too low.


    So with all these factors, Hiras quest itself was an unpopular quest that many new players avoided. Considering all this, Rebirth did not find it strange that no one had uncovered Hiras hidden quest yet.


    While mulling over the topic of hidden quests, Rebirth arrived at the main trading site. The trading site in all towns and city¡¯s virtually had the same design to help players find the site easily. The trading site itself was a giant tower stretching high into the sky.


    Walking into the trading site, Rebirth went into a private room where he could browse the items up for trade or sell.

    Instead of browsing through the hundreds of thousands of items up for trade and sell, Rebirth narrowed his search down specifically for people looking for that skill.


    Instantly that long list of items was narrowed downed to a few tens of items people were willing to trade for the rabbit leaps skill.


    While the rabbit skill itself was only a common skill, it was still a relatively rare skill that could only be obtained as a dropped item from the rabbits. Furthermore it was a skill that did not have any class requirement or special requirements, so for new players it was a somewhat good skill.


    Slowly going threw that list of items, Rebirth eventually found an item that somewhat interested him, the wild boars charge skill book.

    Though it is debatable what skill is better between wild boars charge and rabbits leap, the description of wild boars charge was a lot more appealing to Rebirth than rabbits leap.


    After trading the rabbits leap skill for the wild boars charge, Rebirth left the trading site. Looking up at the sky that had turned dark while he was at the trading site, he decided to call it a day here and logged of from Incarnation.


    Early the next morning, before the sun had yet to rise, Rebirth entered the game again.


    Walking threw the town, Rebirth slowly made his way to the Lilith temple, the place where he would be able to receive his first class and slowly train in it


    For a local temple that was only located in 1 town, the temple itself was fairly large, luxurious and beautifully. In terms of size and aesthetic-ness, it was a match for some of the largest temples in the continent.


    Marvelous arches and columns, with miniature gardens that gave one sense of peace were spread every where.


    At the very center of the columns & arches, and gardens there was a beautiful palace that any noble or king would fancy. The palace itself was made from granite and marble and another material that Rebirth could not identify. This unknown material added a sense of holiness or ethereal-ness to the palace.


    As Rebirth made his was to the palace, all the doors in the way somehow magically opened out, with out him having to knock on them or someone opening them.


    Walking into the palace, a set of lights slowly turned on highlighting the path he should walk down.


    The path led to a large chamber with a very luxurious chair in its center.


    On the chair was a woman sitting in a lazy posture with her legs crossed.


    The woman had long, black hair, and soul capturing eyes, and a pair of lips covered in red lipstick that could memorize any man. The woman was wearing a white sleeveless shirt that emphasized her cleavage, a short black skirt, with a garter belt underneath and black see through stocking covering her long, slender legs and ending in her thighs.


    ¡°Welcome adventure. I am Lilith, the temple head. Consider it an honor, as the first adventurer of Lilith''s temples, i the temple head will personally guide you in attaining your first class.¡±

 Chapter 6

    This woman sitting on the high chair was the definition of seduction. Every movement of her body, every facial expression she made, every word she said, everything she did captivated and memorized her audience.


    Looking at Rebirths dazed expression, a smile could not help but firm on Liliths mouth.


    ¡°Now tell me my brave warrior, what is your name and what profession are you interested?¡± She asked as she adjusted her self on her chair.


    As he watched Lilith change her posture on the chair, Rebirth could not help but gulp. That small movement on the chair had a form of seductiveness, weather intentional or not, that would draw the viewers eyes to Liliths body.


    Quickly breaking himself from his daze, Rebirth quickly moved his eyes away from Lilith and responded.


    ¡°My name is rebirth and I¡¯m a fighter.¡±


    Seeing Rebirths reaction to how she adjusted herself in the chair, Lilith could not help but laugh.


    Listing to the melodious laughter coming from her, Rebirth could not help but realized that he was once again captivated by Lilith.


    With his face going red, Rebirth inwardly criticized himself.


    ¡°Haha, no need to blame yourself for being enchanted, All beings will natural get drawn in by me it¡¯s impressive that you are able to gain control of your self. This demands a reward.¡±

    Before Rebirth even noticed, he found himself outside of the palace door. With a wave of her hand, Lilith had teleported him outside.

    Leaving Lilith''s temple, Rebirth started to make his was to Hiras Restaurant for his morning appointment with her.


    On his way to her restaurant he decided to take a look at the skill he obtained from Lilith.

    In Incarnation, skills were divided into 5 levels. The first 4 levels were beginner, intermediate, high, and mastered. Above those 4 levels was the EX-transcendent level. It was rumored that any skill that reached that level would have a small chance to go up a tier. For example an uncommon skill would become a rare skill and a rare skill would become a unique skill.


    While thinking about the status resist skill, Rebirth unknowingly arrived at Hiras Restaurant. Looking around, he did not find Hira, but he found the door to her restaurant to be opened. When he visited Hira yesterday, he did not go into the restaurant, as Hira was cleaning outside.


    Walking into the restaurant for the first time, Rebirth curiously looked around.


    The restaurant itself wasn¡¯t very big, it only had a little over a dozen tables meant for 4 people all around. Though it wasn¡¯t very big, it was decorated very nicely, along the walls of the restaurant there were mural paintings of a beautiful prairie with all kinds of flowers and trees growing.


    Overall the restaurant itself gave a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere to whoever came in to dine.


    Noticing someone come in, Hira came out form a back room. Upon seeing Rebirth in the middle of the room, a smile blossomed in her face.


    ¡°My my, your a bit earlier than I expected you.¡±


    ¡°Morning, I had some business that ended earlier than I thought it would, so I came to pay you a visit.¡± Rebirth responded while watching her come out from the back room.


    Today, Hira was wearing a knee length, strapless sundress with her hair tied up in a bun. Maybe because she wasn¡¯t wearing the apron she had the previous day, Rebirth found that she looked very charming and refreshing.


    As Rebirth looked at Hiras refreshing looks, he could not help but wonder if all the woman in this town were beautiful. So far he had met only 2 people, and both had amazing looks.


    ¡°Hehe, it¡¯s nice to see that I could still attract someone much younger than me¡± Hira said in a teasing voice.


    Hearing Hiras teasing voice, Rebirth found his entire head going red.


    ¡°Cough...cough...cough, you just looked very charming today, and I got distracted a bit....besides, your still very young and beautiful....¡±


    ¡°Hmm, does that mean I wasn¡¯t charming yesterday?¡±

    ¡°Tada. Here you have may world famous porridge, home made cheese, home made sweet bread, and freshly squeezed orange juice.¡± Hira introduced while setting the tray in front of Rebirth and sitting opposite of him.


    Smelling the incredible aroma coming from the food Hira placed in front of him, Rebirth could not help but take a deep gulp. Picking up the spoon next to the tray, Rebirth started eating the porridge,


    As soon as he took that first bite of the porridge, Rebirths eyes went wide opened. Although it was porridge, it tasted so good....although it was just porridge, it somehow had a sweet yet sour taste...although it was just porridge............


    As he continued tasting the porridge in his mouth, he put down the spoon to grab both the cheese and the bread, each in one hand. After swallowing that first spoon of porridge, he went on to taste Hiras home made cheese and bread with great expectation. As he took the first bite of both items, he realized his expectations were not wrong, just like the porridge they were both some of the best things he had ever eaten.     As she watched Rebirth devour the food she made, a heart warming smile could not help but form on Hiras face.

That¡¯s why when I cook, I want to always experiment with new ingredients as well as make food with the freshest ingredients. That¡¯s why I want to ask you to hunt 50 rabbits so early in the morning. I want to make an scrumptious rabbit breakfast using only fresh rabbit meat.¡±

    ¡°Why don¡¯t you continue enjoying your breakfast, I¡¯m gonna go continue preparations for opening today¡± Hira said as she got up and walked to the back room.


    A few minutes after Hira left, Rebirth finished eating and got up ready to leave, when he heard Hiras voice coming from the back.


    ¡°Here why don¡¯t you take these with you, you can eat them as you take a small break between hunting rabbits.¡±


    Walking out from the back room, Hira handed over a small container to Rebirth.


    Opening the small container, Rebirth saw 5 meat buns in them.

    Thanking Hira for the meat buns, Rebirth left her restaurant.


    After leaving Hiras restaurant, a notification ran out in his head.

    In Incarnation, when a player takes a nice rest accompanied with a nice meal they would receive a well rested buff. The effects of the well rested buff would be affected by both the quality of the rest and the quality of the food eaten.


    After looking up the information on the well rested buff, Rebirth had arrived at the the fields outside the town walls where the rabbits were.


    Running towards the closest rabbit, Rebirth activates his newly acquired wild boars charge.


    Immediately he found that his speed had greatly improved and he was about to reach the rabbit. Reaching the unawares rabbit, with the momentum accumulated from his charge, Rebirth swung his sword at the rabbits neck.


    [Critical hit. Fatal hit]


    All it took was that one hit to kill the rabbit. Nodding his head with a pleased smile, Rebirth was happy with the additional damage he could do thanks to wild boars charge.


    After verifying that he could kill the rabbits in one hit, Rebirth decided to try out his next theory.


    Locking on 2 rabbits that were fairly close to one another, Rebirth activated wild boars charge as he ran towards one of them.


    Reaching the rabbit, Rebirth quickly sliced its next with his sword, and before even receiving a notice saying that the rabbit had died, he immediately activated wild boars charge again and charged at the 2nd rabbit he had locked onto before.


    After the 2nd wild boars charge ended, Rebirth turned around and saw that both rabbit had died.


    Nodding his head again, with that same pleasant smile in his face, Rebirth started laughing.


    When he first bought the wild boars charge skill, he initially wondered if it would be possible to use to consecutively charge between monsters. Seeing the result from trying it out he was quite please with himself. The only downside was that consecutively activating that skill had a higher damand on stamina and built up fatigue faster. But this was something that could be easily resolved.


    Taking out one of the buns he received from Hira, Rebirth slowly started to eat it, enjoy its otherworldly flavor.


    In Incarnation, a consumables affect still took effect even if he entered a fight. Therefore, Rebirth figures he might as well eat the meat buns after every few rabbits to always maintain a decent level of mana and have his fatigue and stamina recover quickly.


    Eating the meat bun, Rebirth started his fast rabbit hunting spree. In less then 30 minutes, Rebirth had killed his 96th rabbit. After killing the 96th rabbit, an unexpected notification ran out in his head.

    With a happy smile on his face, Rebirth quickly killed the remaining 4 rabbits he needed to complete his quest.


    Walking into Hiras restaurant; he saw her cleaning the tables with an apron on.


    Turning around to see who came in, seeing that it was Rebirth who walked in, Hira had a slightly surprised face seeing it was him before a smile bloomed in her face.

    Following Hira into the back room, he saw that it was the kitchen of her restaurant.


    Walking to the table top she was pointing at, Rebirth started taking out the rabbit meat from his inventory.

    Walking out of Hiras restaurant, Rebirth made his way to Liliths temple.


    Upon arriving at the palace, the doors opened again by themselves. This time a different path was lighted up for him to follow.


    This path led to a large living room. Against the wall there was a giant TV with a soap drama playing on it. In front of the TV was a giant sofa.


    As Rebirth walked in, the TV turned off and the sofa made a 180 turn to face him.


    On the sofa, Rebirth saw a lazy Lilith lying down. Though she was just lying down, again, Rebirth found that he could not stop his eyes from roaming her body. Her long slender legs, her crunched up skirt and shirt from her lying down, and that face that had a playful smile on it.


    ¡°Like what ya see boy? Wonna see more?¡± Saying this Lilith slowly brought up a leg into a mountain pose. This simple action caused her short skirt to hike up a bit more and expose more of her smooth thighs.


    Hearing Lilith¡¯s seductive voice, Rebirth quickly regained focus. Though he regained his focus, he still could not remove his eyes from Lilith¡¯s slender legs, thighs and half exposed breast¡¯s.

    Getting up from the sofa, Lilith slowly walked to the bones Rebirth put down on the ground.


    Once Lilith arrived in front of the bones, she bent down her upper body to count the bones o the floor.


    From Rebirths position, he was able to see down Lilith¡¯s shirt as she counted the bones in the floor. He could see those large bare breasts as well as those pink little....

    Seeing Lilith get up, Rebirth quickly looked else where.

 Chapter 7

    Shaking his head at Lilith¡¯s teasing, Rebirth got up from the floor and headed towards the town gates.


    Per information he found online Elite rabbits could be found in the outer perimeter of the forest outside the town. The elite rabbits were began at lvl 5 and they were bigger, stronger and faster then regular rabbits. The really scary thing about them however is that they always had 4 regular rabbits following them and taking orders.


    As he arrived at the plains, Rebirth quickly activated his wild boars charge skill and started speeding off towards the forest past it. If there were no monsters locked on when wild boars charge was used, the skill would automatically end after charging 15 meters.


    While charging towards the forest, as long as a rabbit was in the way, Rebirth would quickly slay it. No rabbit in his way would survive.


    Walking into the forest, Rebirth started walking at a normal pace, he did not want to accidentally run into any powerful monster.


    After a few minutes of searching, he finally caught sight of his prey.


    The elite rabbit was about 3 meters tall and it had 4 rabbits standing around it obediently following its order. Furthermore unlike the rabbits that inhabited the plains that were between level 1-3, the rabbits inside of the forest started out at level 4.


    Surrounding his level 6 elite rabbit were 2 level 4 rabbits, and 2 level 7 rabbits.


    During his time on the island, a very valuable lesson that Rebirth learned was that monsters that traveled in packs could not be underestimated. The best course of action when fighting them was kill of the weakest links as son as possible, before the stronger ones had any opportunity to react. Otherwise if they all surround you, you will have a hard time surviving.


    Observing the rabbits, Rebirth patiently waited for an opportunity. Success comes to those that are patient. Soon after, a level 4 rabbit gather a bit of distance from the other rabbits, with a level 7 rabbit following behind it.


    Activating wild boars charge, Rebirth charged towards the lone rabbit. Slicing its neck with his sword, he activate the charge again and charged towards the nearby level 7 rabbit, using his sword to struck its neck as well.


    Quickly doing a spin, he swung his sword again to hit the rabbit again on its neck. Though his attack power was enough to kill to kill the level 4 rabbit in one hit, it was not enough for the level 7 rabbit. Unfortunately the 2nd hit wasn¡¯t enough to kill it.


    I¡¯m an enraged mode, the rabbit leapt towards Rebirth, who expertly dodge it and hit its neck for the 3rd time, killing it.


    All this happened so fast, that the other 2 rabbits and the elite rabbit had yet to react. Activating the wild boars charge for a 3rd time, Rebirth ran towards the 2nd rabbit that was level 4 and killed it.


    At this moment, he felt a strong force coming from behind him.


    While he killed the rabbit, the elite rabbit took that opportunity to leap attack him from behind. Given the sheer size of the rabbit, it felt as if a cannon was shooting towards him.


    Doing a pivot to his left, Rebirth brushed passed the elite rabbits right side. Due to the sheer size of the rabbit, although he dodge the attack, he did not have room to swing his sword.


    Catching his balance after dodging, Rebirth locked into the last rabbit and used wild boars charge to charge at it.


    Unfortunately , half way to the rabbit, Rebirth had to stop his charge, and jump back.


    Right where he was, he saw a giant red ball shoot pass at an extreme speed. This red ball was the elite Rabbit that he had just dodge.


    At the same time as he was dodging the elite rabbit, the remaining rabbit ran towards him and then used its signature leap attack.


    Using charge once again, Rebirth ran right by it while it was on mid leap and swung his sword at its neck. Quickly turning around, Rebirth swung his sword one more time at its neck killing it.


    As he killed it, he felt the elite rabbit leaping towards him again. Quickly sidestepping towards its left, Rebirth swung his sword to stoke it as it flew by.


    From there, now that the regular rabbits were taken care of, Rebirth had no trouble taking care of this elite rabbit. Aside from being bigger, faster and stronger nothing else was different from a regular rabbit. It still only had the basic leap attack. Every time the rabbit used its leap, Rebirth would dodge to its left and attack the same spot.


    Dodging the elite rabbit one more time, Rebirth landed the last bit necessary to kill it.


    Thinking about his fight with this group of rabbits, Rebirth could not help but shake his head. It¡¯s going to take a long time to actually kill the necessary 50 elite rabbits. Waiting for an opportunity took him 5 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of intensive fight where he ended up using the wild boards charge consecutively without breaks. That was a huge stamina drain. Just to recover from the stamina and fatigue, he¡¯d have to rest for about 2 minutes. So in total it take about 12 minutes to kill only 1 elite rabbit. At that rate it would take him about 10 hours to finish that quest. He did not want to spend so long on this quest.


    He decided to combine his rest time with his waiting for an opportunity to strike in order to save a bit of time.


    While observing his next target, Rebirth look at the drops from the rabbits without expecting anything. The elite rabbit drained 10 copper coins, and surprisingly he also dropped a piece of equipment.


    Rabbits Rapier(common-ordinary):


    equipment condition: 13 strength, 11 dexterity.


    Dmg: 8-10


    Attributes: Penetration(+), dexterity + 1, whenever a critical hit lands, a rabbit is summoned to attack the enemy.


    Looking at that rapier that dropped, Rebirth quickly put away his full sword and replaced it with the rapier. With the rapier killing the rabbits would go a lot faster.


    Looking at his next target, Rebirth found an opportunity a minute later when the elite rabbit moved far away from the rest of the rabbits.


    Using wild boars charge, Rebirth quickly arrived in front of the first bunny and thrusted his rapier into the rabbits throat. When he was pulling back the rapier, a rabbit suddenly jumped from the tip of the rapier, and bit into the wound he had just created on the rabbit.


    As soon as he withdrew his rapier, he used wild boars charge to get to the 2nd rabbit and repeated the same action.


    In a matter of seconds, Rebirth had killed all 4 rabbits. Even the higher level rabbits died from one hit from the rapier thanks to its special attributes.


    Giving a loud screech, the elite rabbit quickly leapt towards its subordinates killer. However just like the first elite rabbit, this one was no threat to him without its subordinates. And thanks to the rapier it died even faster. Within 2 minutes the elite rabbit died.


    Though they were both common weapons, the difference between the rabbit rapier and beginners sword. This rapier would really speed up the hunting process.


    Seven hours later, Rebirth was standing in front of the palace in Lilith¡¯s temple. As he got to the door, they magically opened by themselves again and put for him to follow lit up. This path led to the chamber with the high chair in center.


    Sitting on the high chair, Lilith stared down at Rebirth. This time she was wearing a silk dress shirt that reached to her belly button and highlighted her breasts with a black, tight fitting long slit skirt.


    Getting up from the chair, Lilith walked towards Rebirth.


    ¡°Hehe, nicely done. You finished this task faster than I though your would. I pegged you to finish it in 10 hours. Hmm I guess I should give you a reward for exceeding my expectations.¡±

    Hearing Lilith¡¯s tempting words, before he realized it, Rebirth was nodding his head in consent.


    Locking lips with him again, Lilith moved a hand to Rebirths crotch before gently caressing over it.


    As she separated her lips from Rebirth to talk, a long string of saliva connected there mouth.


    ¡°Wonderful. I¡¯ll be waiting for your return to give you your reward.¡±


    As she finished talking, Rebirth found him self staring at the tall palace doors again. She had teleported him outside again before he could respond.

    Leaving Lilith¡¯s temple, Rebirth started heading over to Hiras Restaurant. He had ran out of the rabbit meat buns she had given him and he could also use the well rested buff while hunting the rabbit king.


    Walking into Hiras restaurant, he saw her cleaning some tables with another woman sitting on an empty table while eating.


    ¡°Excuse me Sir, we are currently closed right now, please comeback during our dinner time.¡±


    The woman sitting on the table said as she saw Rebirth walking into the restaurant. Observing this new lady, Rebirth noted that she had a slim, petite figure with her strawberry-blonde hair being tied into a ponytail. She had blue blues, and an energetic smile that was packed with enthusiasm and brightness.


    ¡°It¡¯s alright Torei, this is Rebirth, the person I was telling you about.¡±


    ¡°Hoho, so your Rebirth the person that my sister has been raving about huh?¡±


    Hearing Hiras say this man that enter was Rebirth, Torei could not help but turn around to look at him with a smirk on her mouth.

    Hearing Hira mentioned her deceased brother, a sad expression emerged on Torei¡¯s face.

    Saying this, Hiras stopped talking. Though based on Ambers reaction, Rebirth suspected there was more to the story then what Hira said, he did not press the subject.


    After a moment of silence which Hira and Torei used to recover their calm, Rebirth remember why he came here, and changed the subject.


    ¡°Ah, yes Hira, I hunted some Elite rabbits. Do you want there meat?¡±


    ¡°Hmm!? Elite rabbits, you can already hunt them?¡±


    ¡°Mh. Elite rabbits are weak. Only troubling part is that they have regular rabbit followers. Kill the followers first and the elite rabbits are easy to kill.¡±


    Hearing Rebirths reply, Hira couldn¡¯t help but shake her head...she had often seen many beginner adventurers crying and bitching about the elite rabbits, if they heard a day old adventurer saying they were east what would be their response?


    ¡°Well that is impressive, I don¡¯t really get a chance to cook with elite rabbit meat, so it¡¯ll be fun experiment with them. How many do you have?¡±


    ¡°I have 50. Oh and 220 regular rabbit meat if you want.¡±


    ¡°!? That many. You really are gonna drive me out of business with me having to buy so much rabbit meat from you. I can offer you 10 copper coins per elite rabbit meat and due to the sheer amount of regular meat, I can only offer you 1 copper coins per piece.¡±

    Nodding his ahead in acceptance, Rebirth took out the meat from his inventory.

    Looking at all the meat, with a troubled yet excited expression, Hira fell into deep thought.

    ¡°You haven¡¯t seen my store? You literally have to pass it to reach Hiras restaurant.¡± Seeing Rebirth with a confused expression when he heard there¡¯s a tailor shop next to the restaurant, Torei couldn¡¯t help but ask with an incredulous expression.


    ¡°Nope¡±


    Hearing Rebirths non schilack response, Torei curled down her body in defeat.


    ¡°I do have a question though....rabbits are pretty easy to hunt and their materials to gather, so why do you two get so excited about their meat and fur?¡±


    Hearing Rebirths question and his response to the earlier question Torei asked, both Hira and Torei couldn¡¯t help but laugh.


    ¡°You really dont pay much attention to your surrounding do you? This area is where the Lower class commoners live. Meat and cloth from monsters are a bit luxurious in this area.¡±


    Hearing Hiras response, Rebirth couldn¡¯t help but be slightly surprised.


    ¡°Anyway, sell me the rabbit fur, I can pay ya 5 copper for each elite rabbit fur and 1 copper coin for regular rabbit fur since you have so many of them. I¡¯ll even make you some new equipment made from elite rabbit fur.¡±

    Nodding her head at Rebirth, Torei agreed to his condition.


    After resting, talking and eating a delightful meal with Hira and Torei, Rebirth left the restaurant and went to hunt the rabbit king.


    Using the rabbit king locater item he received from Lilith, Rebirth quickly located the rabbit king.


    Watching the rabbit king from behind a large tree, Rebirth could feel a slight headache coming up.


    The rabbit king was around lvl 10, it was a lot smaller than a regular rabbit being only about 2 feet and height. A pointy crown sat on its head with a red cape on it.


    The headache inducing part about the rabbit king was that it had 5 royal rabbit knights surrounding it. These rabbit knights were all at level 9, were about the same height of regular rabbits, and somehow were covered in armor pieces.


    That reward from Lilith better be worth it grumbled Rebirth as he devised a plan to kill the rabbit king.


    The plan he came up with was fairly simple. It was draw out the rabbit knights and take care of them individually.


    Throwing a rock, Rebirth caught the attention of the furthest rabbit knight from the rabbit king. As if going to investigate, the rabbit knight went towards where the rock came from.


    By consistently drawing its attention with rocks, Rebirth slowly drew the rabbit knight away from its group.


    Once he had drawn the rabbit knight a sufficient distant from the rabbit king, Rebirth activates wild boars charge and charged towards the rabbit knight.


    Wanting to test the defense of the rabbit knights armor, his first thrust was aimed at the forehead of the rabbit knight which was covered with a helmet.


    ¡°Diinnggg¡±


    As he heard the loud vibration and the numbness spreading through his arm from his thrust landing on the helmet, Rebirth realized that his attack did not deal much damage to the rabbit knight. His rapiers attack was not able to break threw the iron helmets defense.


    Though it did not cause much damage to the rabbit knight, the large vibration did stun it however. Taking advantage of the stun state of the rabbit knight, Rebirth quickly launched a series of 10 rapid thrusts into the rabbits throat.


    While the rabbit knight was covered in armor, it did have opening threw out its body. Since he couldn¡¯t break through the rabbits armor, then he¡¯ll just attack around it.


    Of the openings the rabbits armor had, the biggest weakness was a small unguarded area around the rabbits throat. This was a hard area for normal people to hit, however Rebirth had no problems with his precision, especially if his target was basically a sitting duck.


    All ten of his thrusts were critical hits which activated his rapiers special ability, inflicting even more damage on the rabbit knight. Furthermore, all ten (or 20 including the additional attack from te rapier) landed on the same spot.


    After the 10th thrust, to Rebirths surprise, the rabbit knight died. The rabbit knight had a lot less health then the elite rabbits. Thinking about it, the rabbit knights problem traded the high health belonging to the elite rabbits for higher defense and probably higher strength and dexterity. Unfortunately for it, with the glaring opening on its throat, it¡¯s defense was useless against Rebirth.

    During the boy¡¯s time exploring the island, he had found many different plants that had wonderful effects. For all intents and purposes, one of these plants in particular was an aphrodisiac plant; a plant that would heighten the sense of pleasure a person or animal was feeling.

    From the captains understanding, the man¡¯s only daughter and her family were on that plane, and he at least wanted to find their remains to give them a final resting ceremony.


    They had just set out a few months ago to begin this year search. They hadn¡¯t searched this particular part of the ocean yet, and upon coming here they found a large island that was not in any maps.


    Though he and his sailors doubted that the plane crashed on this island, whenever they found an uncharted island, hope that they¡¯ve finally found the right place rose in them. Over the years, their hopes had been crushed many times, so when they saw this island, although they hoped they found the place, their expectations did not rise by much.


    As they got closer to the island, they turned off the ships deep travel Ion Sphere.


    Just when they were about to reach the island, a magnetic wave suddenly hit this part of the ocean and scrambled all the advance technology on the ship. Taken pre caution measures, the ship quickly landed on the island. They had encountered many magnetic waves on the ocean, and whenever they did, the electronics and advance pieces of technology would temporarily become disabled. It was something that they had gotten used to over time.


    As the started debarking the ship to stretch their legs and begin searching the island, deeps growls began coming from the forest in the distance. Hearing the growls coming from the forest, the sailors could not help but curse¡­the island had ferocious animals and to make matter worse, the main defensive gear were down.


    With the advancement of technology, old style guns that utilized bullets were replaced by laser and thermal guns. Old style guns became a thing of the pass with only collectors or sailors having them. Due to the magnetic waves that are quite common on the oceans, most ships would have some old style guns and cannons for emergencies.


    As the sailors took out the old style guns, wild animals started coming out of the forest and charged towards them.


    Engaging the animals charging out of the forest, the sailors quickly suffered casualties. While they had no issue killing the dumb animals with the guns, the smarter ones prove to be more deadly. Often they would hide behind a large dumb animal that would just charge head onto a rain of bullets.


    When the animal in front died, they would then quickly overstep them and continue charging at the sailors, due to the fact that the large animals were able to cover a significant distance, they were often able to reach the sailors without dying. Furthermore, because of their reaction speed, they were often able to avoid the stray bullets.


    Within minutes, the beach was covered with the bodies of animals and a few sailors. As the battle was about to heat up more, a load bestial howl came from the forest.


    As this howl reached the beach, many of the animals attacking the sailors got scared and turned around, quickly leaving the area.


    As the sailors saw these ferocious animals turn around and flee, they could not help but get nervous for what was coming while defending against the few animals that stayed behind.


    It was then that with surprised expression they saw a man dashing out of the forest holding a spear made out of bones. This made was a bit over 6 feet tall, was tanned, had a large bushy beard and though he did not have bulging muscles, the muscles he had where filled with explosive power. Furthermore, all that he was wearing was a loin cloth made out of animal pelt, and on his body they could see scars all around.


    As the animals saw this man come out of the forest, the sailors were able to see a flash of fear pass through the remaining animals, before they quickly turned around and fled.


    With a confused expression, the captain of the ship walked in front of the sailors while waiting for the man that was heading towards them after exiting the forest. As the captain saw the man walk towards them, he suddenly found himself having trouble breathing. He felt and oppressive might with an unbridled killing intent wash over him as he locked eyes with the approaching man.


    Quickly moving his eyes away, the captain noticed that many of the sailors around him had a similar reaction. His instincts couldn¡¯t help but scream at him that this man approaching them was very dangerous, perhaps far more than the animals that attacked them.


    The man finally stopped walking when he was about 5 feet away from them.


    ¡°Cough couch, I am James, the captain of this ship. Thank you for your help. Is there a human tribe living here?¡±

    Activating his rabbit rings enhanced ability, the incoming rock slimes were stunned in place while the ones that were closer to him ended up shattering into small pieces.

    Quite pleased with the results from activating the upgraded rings ability for the first time, Rebirth quickly resumed thrusting his halberd into the rock slime bosses body while it was still stun from the rings screech attack.


    The 2nd rock slime boss quickly fell to Rebirths thrust before it was able to get out of the stun state.


    As he delivered the finishing blow to the rock slime boss, Rebirth felt a heavy projectile coming towards him from behind.


    Quickly jumping to the side, Rebirth attempted to dodge the rock flying heading towards him. Unfortunately, the rock glazed his right arm, inflicting a slightly crippled status to his right arm.


    Looking back, he saw that the first rock slime boss had broken one of the walls and shot a rock bullet towards him. Luckily it only had enough time to shoot that one rock bullet before dying to the remains flame walls surrounding it.

    After admiring the new set, especially the new skill that complimented the Rabbit Kong¡¯s Wrath skill, Rebirth bid farewell to Mai before heading over to Lilith¡¯s temple to turn in his training quest to Veronica.


    Walking into the training room, he saw Veronica performing an enchanting blade dance with twin dual swords in her hands.


    After finishing her blade dance, Veronica turned to greet Rebirth with a small smirk on her cold face.

    Since the original meeting with Veronica, Rebirth had paid her many visits to turn in the bones of the rabbit king. Though they were not work much, they were able to net him a few extra temple points.


    During all those meetings, Veronica never stopped referring to him as C-, even when Lilith promoted him to a B in her weekly grading seminar.


    No matter what he tried, he could not stop her from calling him that.

    As he looked throw the low cost stuff, there were a few things that caught Rebirths attention. The first thing was that most of the skills had the word modified next to them. The second thing was that no equipment started showing up until he reached the 1000+ range. And the third thing was that there was a weird shop item called sparring with Veronica.


    ¡°Hey Veronica, why do many of these skills have the word modified next to them? And what is the sparring with Veronica item that costs 500 pts?¡±


    ¡°Excellent question C-. You see, usually on the temple shop, the temples would have common level skills as the lowest cost goods. We here at Lilith temple do not need skills of that level. So we went ahead and modified all the common skills we could get a hang on. We turned them into uncommon skills, though of course do them being uncommon instead of common, they cost more temple points. As for the sparring with Veronica voucher, that¡¯s a voucher that would let you have a spar with me. I highly recommend that being one of the things you get. You¡¯ll love the session. I¡¯m even giving it to you at a 50% discount.¡±


    Though she explained the sparring with Veronica voucher in a very calm, cold voice, Rebirth could see a sadistic expression forming on her cold face....just what would she do to him during the sparring session?


    Looking throw the skill list, Rebirth decided to get 2 and save the rest for the Sparring with Veronica Voucher. He was cursing about why Veronica strongly recommended it....he did not believe it was just so she could torment him....


    Thinking back to Mais aura of fire, he could not help think how well the fire blade skill might synthesis with it. Unfortunately, after consulting with Mai for a minute, she said the skill itself belonged to the fire heretics, so the two skills would be at logger heads with each other rather than synthesizing with each other. Hearing this, Rebirth could not help but think how the temple could call the fire blade skill heretical while the aura of fire skill was considered acceptable.


    In the end, Rebirth decided to go with the wind blade (15 pts) and thunder steps ( 30 pts) skills. Of these two skills, the description of the thunder steps drew his attention. When he chose that skills, he could swear Veronica¡¯s cold eyes gleam in joy.

    For the remaining 5 days on in newbie period in the game, Rebirth spent his time killing the rabbit king once per day and dedicating the rest of the time to get to know Hira and Torei much better. At his current level, it would take thousands of elite rabbits just for his experience to go up by 1%. Rather than waste time and effort killing so many elite rabbits, his time would be better training his Kamasutra skill.


    On his last night during his newbie period, Rebirth met Lilith in the room with the high chair rather then the bedroom.

    A few minutes later the double doors open as a large man wearing a black suit with grey hair and a properly trimmed grey beard walked out of the conference room.


    Simply by looking at this man, Anastasia and Ian were overcome by the powerful and authorities aura he was releasing.


    From behind the large man, in the conference room they could say many authoritative figures watching them while I felt talking. As Ian and Anastasia saw all these people watching them, a trace of fear and nervousness pass through them. These people were some of the most powerful and influential figures in the NA alliance.

    This imposing man was the very Lord Maximillian that Anastasia was looking for.

    Hearing the first part of Anastasias report, Maximillian had no visible reaction to it. However once he heard that they had fin ally found the plane crash site, he stated to nervously shake as waited for the rest of the report. For 12 long years he had waited for the crash site to be found.


    Behind Maximillian, the people in the conference room also went quite as trace of astonishment passed through their faces. This site of the most famous plane crash in the last century has been found.

 Chapter 12

    The next day a piece of news that became common gossip was released. The grandson of Governor Maximillian Arnold, the heir to the Leon family was alive.


    ¡°We repeat, Nicholas Leon is alive, now to Cherry for an update on this breaking story.¡±

Results that would¡¯ve taken years to attain before were suddenly being attained much faster. And this timeline was further accelerated once MEG was created. To this day the fear has into the human body is continuously ongoing.


    Through the help of MEG, the degree in which a person could master the mysteries of their bodies were divided into 6 stages. They were: the foundation building stage; the small success stage; large success stage; expert stage; master stage; and grand master stage. Someone that has just entered the large success stage would have been a contender for any big name fighting title before these studies were started.

    After around 10 minutes of travel, the helicopter finally landed on the roof of a tall building.

    One of them looked like a loving couple with the fit, tall man with grey hair and a trimmed-beard holding unto a shaking women who looked like she was in her earlier fifties.


    Standing behind the couple was a beautiful woman with platinum blond hair in a white pantsuit.


    ¡°Sir Maximilian, is it really Nicholas?¡±


    Nodding his head, Maximillian grabbed unto the shaking woman in his hand. When she heard the question from Anastasia her shaking increased.


    Watching the shaking woman in Maximillian''s arms, Anastasia closed her mouth and did not ask her following question. Since finding out that Nicholas was alive, that woman had not slept or eaten anything as she waited for Nicholas to arrive. Any time he was brought up in a conversation, the woman would start heavily shaken with hope, expectations, and anxiety in her face.


    As the woman calmed down, she tapped the watch on her wrist. Upon tapping that watch a holographic screen appeared in front of her. She quickly pulled up the limited information that the SS Titania had sent on Nicholas and reviewed it for the 25th time today.


    Finishing reviewing the data again, the woman saw that the helicopter had finished landing and its doors were opening.


    Seeing Nicholas get out of te helicopter, the woman left the tall mans hold and ran towards him, giving him a loving hug as she cried.

    She cried out as she embraced him.
