《Story of a Killer》 Prologue - Unleashing Something That Cant Be Caged Again Along a silent morning street, a tall blond-haired boy was walking with a happy smile on his face. His hands were on the back of his head painting a very carefree painting but his gait was steady and calm while looking slightly tense like a tiger ready to pounce on its prey at any minute. Despite it being a winter morning, the boy didn''t seem cold even with his lack of a jacket and the sleeves of his blazer rolled up. It was as if this blond-haired boy was impervious to any outside influences as his surroundings were quite damp and forlorn looking but he still looked happy. The boy was called Damon Jaeger and the reason for his happiness was because he was going to a club competition today with his two childhood friends. When he thought about his two childhood friends, Damon remembered something he had to do and ran toward a cozy looking sandwich shop a little further down the street. Despite it being so early in the morning it was open and there were quite a few people there. ''Just more evidence that this place has the best sandwiches~'' Damon thought this as he squeezed into the shop, his much taller than average height and broader shoulders making it a hassle to fit through the small door made for someone much shorter and thinner than him. As he entered the shop, a few people looked at him and waved to which he replied with a wave of his own. Most people knew Damon because of his unique appearance. This unique appearance came from his foreigner roots as his mom and dad had moved to Japan before having him, whenever he asked about it they said that it was to do with the better-paying jobs and the better environment but Damon found out early on in his life that it was because they wanted to get away from their oppressive family back in Europe. Damon only found this out because someone approached him and told him of his roots; a European Noble Family with a heritage rich in History and dating back quite a long time. His family, the Jaeger Clan, were known for their impressive strength and skill in combat but because of this, they were quite cruel and strict with the younger generation because of their militaristic views. His mother and father had fallen in love but because the Head of the Family did not approve of their marriage and even tried to marry them off to different people. This resulted in them eloping to Japan where they would make him. As Damon was thinking about this and absentmindedly walking forward when the line moved, he''d soon arrived at the counter where he saw a familiar face. "Haha! Damon, my boy!" A man not much shorter than he clasped his hand on Damon''s shoulders. Damon looked at the tall, ginger man in front of him and smiled as he too clasped the man''s shoulder with his hand. "Hello, Ewan! I gave your wife the order for our Lunch today. We''ll need the energy for the competition today." Damon handed the man a few notes of money for the sandwiches. Ewan took the money and put it in the till before going into the back to fetch the sandwiches. Ewan was like Damon''s mom and dad; a foreigner. But he''d come over to Japan for work and instead he fell in love with a Japanese woman and gotten married, and after that him and his wife, Himiko, made one of his childhood friends, Erika. "Here are your sandwiches, my boy. Look after my girl at the competition or I''ll have your bloody head...Hahaha!" with a mock snarl on his face, he handed the sandwiches over to Damon who stored them in his bag with a smile on his face. "Now now dear, I don''t think you could take such a young strapping boy like Damon in a fight." a beautiful brown-haired, brown-eyed woman appeared behind Ewan as she pinched his side. This woman was obviously Ewan''s wife and Erika''s mom, Himiko. As he smiled at Himiko, Damon saw the clock behind her and his eyes widened as he saw the time. "I''m gonna be late, oh god Erika''s gonna kill me! Gotta go, bye!" Damon zipped his back up quickly and rushed out of the shop leaving behind a laughing Ewan and a smiling Himiko as they both knew how domineering their daughter could be. Damon ran with surprising speed down the lonely and slightly dark streets. ''Oh god, I hope Ayano can hold Erika back a bit when I get there otherwise I don''t think I''ll be able to compete in the competition...'' Before long, with Damon''s speed, he''d arrived outside of the school''s gates but he didn''t slow down, he ran toward where the other members of the Martial Arts club had decided to meet. It didn''t take long for Damon to get there but to his surprise, no one was there. "Hm?" Damon pricked his ears up a bit as he thought he heard some sound nearby. Damon decided to walk towards the sound as he thought that Erika might have made them move to reprimand him for being late but as he got closer to the noise, he felt his heart drop as a bad feeling spread from deep in his chest. His slow pace slowly picked up to a silent yet fast speed, like how it was when he ran here. With every step, Damon felt his heart shuddering for a reason he didn''t quite understand but his instincts were telling him to hurry. So he did. "Get away from me!" a scream of terror made Damon''s eyes go wide and his speed spiked to a near-inhuman degree. That was Erika. Erika, who Damon had always seen as a fearless warrior was now screaming in terror. ''Quicker. Quicker. Run. qUickeR. RuN. QuIcKEr. RU--'' Damon''s thoughts were interrupted when he arrived at an empty classroom with its door slightly open. As he peered through the gap, Damon felt a part of him he didn''t know he had inside himself break into tiny little pieces. "Leave Ayano alone! Don''t you fucking touch her you pigs!" Erika screamed as tears of fear, anger, and sadness fell from her blackened eyes. Her face was full of bruises and small cuts, her once beautiful and pale face had now turned into a horrific painting of blue, purple and red. Her clothes were ripped in some places but mainly down the middle showcasing her big breasts and slender but well-defined abs. Damon was wide-eyed as he saw this scene, an empty and void-like feeling filling his body. ''Why?'' His eyes drifted to where Ayano lay on the floor with 3 men poking, prodding and fondling her body like she were their toy. Her black hair was sprawled across the floor and was sticky with her own blood from what Damon assumed was a blunt force blow to the back of her head. Her petite figure was surprisingly well-endowed, hidden under her usually baggy clothes and the boys surrounding her were feeling it to no end. "I never knew the Vice-President of the club had such a good body. It''s so soft!" a black-haired teen said with a lewd laugh and a vicious smile. Damon looked in confusion and pain as he saw someone he saw as one of his few male friends doing something so sickening to his childhood friend.Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation. ''Why?'' "Haha! I betcha Damon''s wandering around like an idiot at the minute, wondering where we are. Hahaha!" a smaller, crueler looking teen said as he ran his hand across Ayano''s stomach. The other boy was silent but his lust-filled eyes and curious hands showed he was far too interested in Ayano''s body to speak at the minute. The tallest of the three and the original speaker spoke again, in reply to the short boy''s joke. "I know right. Newsflash, idiot, we''re gonna take away your precious childhood friends~" his voice sounded dark and savage as he like the other two continued to fondle the poor girl''s body. Damon stood there, still as a corpse with his eyes wide open and tears falling from his eyes. He was shocked. Shocked to his very core and he didn''t know what to do. ''...kill them...'' Damon shook slightly as he heard the voice in his head. Damon hadn''t heard these voices in a long time and he''d thought he''d finally gotten rid of them. ''kill them.'' The voice continued to get louder as Damon felt a fury burn deep within him, like the build-up of lava before the volcano erupts. Damon''s eyes went incredibly blank as he straightened himself out fully, showing off his 6''5" figure and the metal-like muscles wrapped around it. ''Kill them!'' Damon silently opened the door and walked inside the room silently like a black cat walking through the night. He locked his eyes onto the only other boy in the room other than the 3 surrounding Ayano. He was next to the now dead-eyed Erika, messing around with his breasts and lower-regions while touching himself. ''KILL THEM!'' Amon seemed to teleport behind the boy without anyone noticing. Well, other than Erika whose eyes started to brighten up as tears poured out of her eyes but Damon took no notice to this as he slowly and noiselessly placed one of his hands on the boy''s jaw and chin and another on the back of his head. ''I''m sorry I have to show you this side of me, Erika...'' The boy froze as he felt like two massive pythons had wrapped themselves around his head but as he went to call out to the others, Damon made his move. ''KILL THEM!'' *Crack!* As the boy opened his mouth, Damon twisted the boys head in a 180-degree fashion with a strength he didn''t quite know he had. The very audible crack caught everyone''s attention, other than the unconscious Ayano. The 3 boys widened their eyes in terror as they saw what Damon had done to their friend/partner-in-crime. "Why did you do this...?" Damon''s dry voice sounded out, breaking the thick silence of the room. But no one replied, the 3 boys still looking at their dead friend, his neck completely crushed and his head facing the wrong way which painted a very surreal scene. Damon let go of the corpse he was holding by the neck and turned toward the 3 boys. The thunk of the body hitting the floor made all 3 of the boys shake as the reality of what was about to happen settled in. "Why did you do this? How did you think you were going to get away with it? Are you that fucking stupid, you pieces of fuckingfilth?!" Damon''s voice was incredibly harsh at the minute. Despite her circumstances, Erika looked at Damon''s back with confusion. She was confused because she''d never seen this carefree, cheerful giant act like this even when he was incredibly mad. He just seemed so cold and even slightly manic when he spoke. "Why''d you kill him, you bastard?" the quiet one who had been touching Ayano with the most fervor screamed as he ran at Damon in a frenzy-like state. ''Oh yeah, that was his brother, wasn''t it? Haha! Trash must be related to trash, right?'' A sadistic smile spread across Damon''s face as he stepped forward and met the boy''s charge with a knee blow to the stomach. "Arghhh!" the boy felt Damon''s knee go into his stomach like a steel column, causing him to drop to the floor and throw up the contents of his stomach. Damon lifted the teen up by his neck and brought him face to face with himself, as a ferocious and angry look appeared on his face "Why''d I kill him? Because he was filth. A better question would be, why did you try to rape my childhood friends? Why did you molest my childhood friends?!" His roars sent shivers down everyone''s spines, it was like the roars of a beast, not a human. "Whatever, I''ve had enough of holding back when filth like you don''t hold back either." as he finished his sentence, Damon squeezed his hand like a vice around the teen''s throat, crushing his windpipe. "D-Damon, we can talk about this, we-we didn''t m-mean any harm..." the short boy shakily stood up and put his hands in the air as if surrendering. Damon''s golden yellow eyes seemed to shine with a brutal glint as he looked at the shorter boy. Suddenly, Damon appeared in front of the boy, surprising the boy into falling onto the floor and pissing himself in fear. "Hm? Are you pissing yourself? That''s not good, Daichi. Well--" Damon stepped forward and placed his foot on the boy''s crotch "--if you can''t use it right, what''s the point in having it, am I right?" as Damon said this, the boy, Daichi realized what he was about to do but before he could beg, Damon pushed his foot down with a tyrannical amount of force popping and crushing something. "AHHHHH! SHIT!SHIT!SHIT! ARGHHHHH! BLEUGHHH!" Daichi rolled around on the floor as he gripped at what remained of his genitals as blood spread across the floor. The pain caused Daichi to froth at the mouth and even caused him to throw up. Damon looked at the teen with blank eyes, as if his suffering meant nothing to him as if the boy was nothing more than a piece of dirt. Damon averted his gaze from the spasming teen, not before he sent a quick kick to his head seeming to collapse his skull inward and either killing him or making him into a vegetable. Damon focused his gaze on the last boy in the room, the one who hadn''t moved from his spot next to Ayano. "C-come on, Damon, they''re only a pair of girls. We''re b-bros, right?" the boy, Takashi, anxiously smiled at Damon but his eyes which darted around and his pale face betrayed his fear and terror at the situation he was in. Seeing no reply from Damon who was slowly walking toward him, he started looking around the room for a way out before he finally looked down at the unconscious girl next to him as a cruel glint flashed through his eyes. Quickly he grabbed the girls neck and looked at Damon with a threatening glint in his eyes. "Stay back or I''ll fucking kill her, Damon!" Takashi screamed as he stood up with Ayano in his arms. His threat seemed to work as Damon stopped moving toward him but before he could celebrate he realized Damon hadn''t stopped moving, he was building up power in his legs for a charge of some kind. "Stay ba--!" Takashi screamed out as he went to hit Ayano''s throat but he soon felt something wrapped around his throat. "Doesn''t feel very nice, does it? Not being in control, being used however the other person wants to use you. But if you complain now, you''re a hypocrite. And I don''t quite like hypocrites~" Damon''s sadistically cheerful voice sounded out as he easily pried Ayano out of Takashi''s arms. Damon threw Takashi backward into the stack of tables and chairs. "Argh!" an audible crack rang throughout the room, no one knew whether it was because of a chair or table breaking or if it was one of Takashi''s bones breaking. But Damon didn''t really care as he lightly put Ayano on the floor again, making sure to cover her body up again before he turned around to face Takashi. "Now, it''s time to sort you out." Damon walked over to the crawling Takashi and flipped him over. "I''ve got something special planned for you." Damon was lucky it was a weekend so no one was at school along as Takashi''s screams would have surely attracted anyone within the school grounds. He also thanked his past self for making it so they convinced the teacher that they could make their way to the competition on their own without their supervision. After he finished with Takashi, Damon looked at his blood-soaked hands before slowly taking out his phone and calling the police and an ambulance for Erika and Ayano. He did all this before taking Ayano over to Erika and sitting down next to them with his eyes closed. To pass the time, he decided to properly cover up Erika with his school blazer. But Erika seemed to have passed out so she couldn''t appreciate the gesture, not that Damon cared he just wanted her to be safe. Before long, Damon heard sirens and people entering the corridor he was on. He stood up and walked out of the classroom with his hands on his head before kneeling down and waiting for the cops to arrest him. All of this happened at Erika and Ayano''s eyes started to flicker open due to the sound. Erika saw Damon being arrested and tried to scream out for them to leave him alone but before she spoke out, she saw Damon shake his head at her which seemed to silence her as she thought about why he''d willingly get arrested and after thinking for a while, it made sense to her. It''s because he knew he''d unleashed something inside himself that wouldn''t stop. Chapter 1 - Being Recruited POV Change - Sgt Akane Kusanagi Akane walked into the school building with her gun raised up and pointed ahead of her. She was with 5 other people who worked under her at the minute and they were here because someone had called the police to report a murder. It would''ve been a fairly normal report for a murder if the person didn''t also add that they were the one who committed the murder themselves. Behind the police officers were a few brave medics but their slightly pale faces betrayed their calm facade. They were here because the ''killer'' on the one had also requested an ambulance for two girls who were there. Akane had started to piece some things together about what may have caused this to happen but she''d like to ask a few questions to the girls before jumping to conclusions. As they got to the 2nd floor, they edged slowly toward the classroom where the killer said he would wait with the girls. It was an abandoned classroom in the far-off corner of one of the buildings that were rarely used, so it didn''t seem like the most ideal place to stage a crime. With their slow speed they were walking at and their nerves it took a while for them to finally get close to the classroom but as soon as they did, they saw the supposed killer. Akane was shocked at the person''s absolute size. His 6''5" tall body was full of perfectly trained muscle, neither being too big nor too small, his blonde hair and golden yellow eyes showed his foreigner status along with his sharp and masculine face which seemed different to Japanese men/boys of his age. Akane raised her gun and pointed right at the boys head, partly out of her training and partly out of fear as she saw the barely suppressed savage glint in the boy''s animal-like eyes. "Get down on the ground, sir!" Because of his foreign looks, Akane spoke English to him as she was panicking slightly and forgot he spoke Japanese on the phone call. The man seemed slightly surprised at her English and smirked. "I can speak Japanese, don''t worry." the man''s voice was calm and deep but there was a weird kind of cheeriness in his voice as he lifted his well-muscled arms behind his head and got on his knees. Akane rushed forward with the others covering her and put some handcuffs on him. When she got close to him, she smelt it and saw it on his hands. The blood. His hands were caked in blood which was still slightly wet. It looked like a child who''d been playing in the mud if the mud was red and less thick. But that wasn''t where the main smell was coming from. Akane slowly arched her head to the left and looked inside the classroom. Gasping at what she saw, she rushed inside because of the appearance of the girls. One of the girls, a red-headed, blue-eyed tall girl, who Akane could have guessed was an incredibly beautiful girl once if it wasn''t for the bruises and cuts all over her face. The other girl had black hair, blue eyes and was quite small and petite compared to the red-headed girl. "Medics, get in here--!!" Before she could finish her sentence, Akane saw them. The bodies. One not too far from her had his neck twisted in an unnatural way, another one close to that had a completely crushed neck and one a few more feet away from that one had a completely collapsed skull and blood pooling around its groin area. She went to look in the furthest part of the room but something distracted her; the redhead crying while tugging on her shirt. Something inside her was glad that she didn''t get the chance to see what was in the furthest part of the room. "P-p-please don''t arrest Damon...H-he only did it to protect us from those p-pigs..." the girl''s voice was shaky and she repeatedly stuttered over herself but her intent was clear; the boy had killed the others because of something they did. Akane consoled the girl and looked towards the smaller girl who was dead-eyed and wouldn''t react to anything but she seemed to be whispering something. When Akane put her ear incredibly close to her ear he heard what she said. "...Damon won''t like me anymore...I''m not pure anymore..." Akane had a bad suspicion of what happened as she got up and walked outside and called for the medics. Luckily the medics were also women, so if what Akane thought had happened, actually had, the girls wouldn''t react badly to the women medics. The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. Akane called in what had happened and asked for a forensics team to come down here and see what happened. After she did that she looked at the boy, who she guessed was Damon and spoke to him. "Why did you do that in there?" her voice was slightly shakey after what she''d saw what this boy was capable of but she kept her calm as she spoke. The boy looked at her and smirked. "Because they dared to touch my childhood friends with their filthy hands." towards the end of his sentence, his smirk turned into a smile that would be considered handsome if it weren''t for the situation he was in. Akane basically confirmed what had happened here with this sentence however but she could only sigh because the boy had killed the offenders he would be punished instead of them because the murder was seen as something worse than rape/molestation. POV Change - Damon A few hours later~ Damon looked around the interrogation room as he lay back into his chair as far as the chains attached to him would allow. Letting out a sigh, Damon wondered how Erika and Ayano were. He knew they''d probably be in a bad place right now and here he was, not able to help them because he had to be caged before he hurt anyone else. At this very moment, Damon lamented the fact that he was so different. If he was normal, he would have beat those four within an inch of their lives, obviously, but he wouldn''t have killed them meaning he''d be able to stay with Erika and Ayano and help them through such a hard time. Thoughts whizzed around Damon''s head; Escape, Fight, Kill, Escape, Fight, Kill. It was the same cycle and it repeated endlessly, slowly driving Damon insane. As he was about to enact his own crude attempt at Escaping, the door to the interrogation room opened up. The Sgt from before and a new person walked in. Damon looked at the Sgt, black hair and eyes like most Japanese people but her busty and curvaceous figure was unlike most women in Japan which gave her a unique and mature beauty. The man who was next to her was about 5''11", had black hair and unusual grey eyes. He seemed incredibly well-built and had an above average face but his constant smirk made him seem incredibly sleazy. "Thank you, Sgt Kusanagi, I can take it from here." his voice was calm and seemed both warm and cold making it sound incredibly weird. The Sgt nodded and walked away after closing the door. The man walked over and sat opposite Damon who was curiously looking at him. "So what are you here for?" Damon sounded disinterested in the man after looking at him enough. Hearing Damon''s forthright and blunt speech, the man laughed slightly and brought up his briefcase before answering Damon. "Well, my young friend, I''m here to recruit you for the talents that you''ve just recently shown." Damon squinted his eyes and looked at the man with curiosity. "Talents? Do you mean how I kill things efficiently?" Damon asked with a jovial tone that didn''t quite fit the situation. The man smiled and nodded his head "Indeed. Your cheerful tone proves that you''re the right kind of person that we need." "We? So you''re talking about an organization that needs killers?" "Yes, I work for an Organization that trains people to kill. And obviously you can''t make a killer out of an ordinary person, you need that talent to already be there. So we keep a lookout for young people who show this particular talent." The man waved his hands around as if he was getting bored of constantly having to repeat this to people. "And what if I say I don''t want to?" Damon casually threw this out because he wanted to know his options. "We''d throw you to the wolves and you''d go to prison for the rest of your life. You also wouldn''t be able to see those lovely ladies you saved again either~" The man''s tone was starting to annoy Damon now. "Was that a threat?" Damon''s cheeriness had disappeared as he leaned forward slightly, his entire aura changing and becoming dark and twisted. The man held his arms up in mock surrender. "No, no, no. We wouldn''t threaten a potential recruit. Those are just the facts. Why would we protect someone who wouldn''t join us? It''s kinda like investing in a business that won''t turn over any profit; Pointless and a waste of resources." Damon let out a sigh. ''That makes sense. What else could I expect from a group of killers.'' "Okay. I''ll join but you have to promise me you''ll keep this entire thing under wraps and won''t let Ayano or Erika get implicated in it. If you can''t do that, the deal''s off." Damon lay back again, showing his compliance through his tired tone of voice. "We were going to do that if you joined anyway. Those two girls are lucky, not many killers are this emotion-driven." The man shrugged his shoulders before opening his briefcase and handing Damon some contracts to sign and a pen to do so. Damon read through the contract and saw everything was as good as he was gonna get and quickly signed through all the pieces of paper. "So what do we do now?" Damon asked as he handed the contracts and pen back. "Now? Now we just walk out of here and you can go see those two girls before we go and run some tests on you to see if you''re ready for the training." The man got up and unlocked Damon''s chains with a key Damon didn''t see him take out. Damon stood up and followed the man out of the police station, all of the police simply looking away from where they were and slightly shaking as if suffering major indignation. Damon followed him to a car and they drove to the hospital where the girls were. Damon felt slightly nervous at seeing them after what he showed them earlier but he knew he had to get it over with if he wanted to go to this Organization without regrets. Before long they arrived at the Hospital and the man, who Damon had learned was called Nox, hurried him out of the car. ''Here goes nothing.'' Chapter 2 - Goodbyes Damon walked into the hospital, gaining multiple curious gazes. Luckily he''d been given the chance to clean his hands at the police station otherwise people would probably think he had injured himself and call a doctor or something. No, the curious gazes were focused on his appearance like usually. Oddly, the stares made him feel calm like everything was still the same as before but deep down he knew that wasn''t so. Damon sighed as he walked up to the receptionist and spoke to him. "Hello, I''m here to visit Ayano Kobayashi and Erika Anderson." Damon was polite and concise as he spoke to the man. The man looked as if he''d expected this like someone had told him this boy would visit for these two. "Ah, we were informed you''d be visiting. It is Damon Jaeger, yes?" the man passed Damon a piece of paper to sign his name on to say he was there. Damon took the piece of paper and picked up a pen before nodding at the man''s question and signing his name on the visitor list and putting the date next to it. After doing this he was told where Ayano and Erika''s rooms were and after thanking the man he walked off in the direction of the rooms. As he made his way towards the rooms, Damon felt his palms getting clammy. He didn''t quite know how these two were going to react to seeing him again and he knew even less on how they''d react to him saying he''d be going away for a while. Damon turned a corner and saw the room for Ayano and Erika which were fortunately right next to each other. He looked at both the doors, trying to decide on which one to visit first. Damon walked to the left door first; Ayano''s room. He came to this conclusion because she was unconscious for most of the time so she didn''t see his...episode. Gently putting his hand on the door, Damon swallowed some spit in his mouth before noticing his dry mouth and hoping there would be some water in Ayano''s room. Taking a deep breath, Damon lightly pushed the door open, wondering if he''d ever been this nervous about anything else before. It was one of Damon''s talents to never be nervous about anything because he always found most things easy. But now, as he walked into Ayano''s hospital room he felt a rare feeling of nervousness that he wouldn''t even feel even if he knew someone was going to try and kill him. As he entered the room, he saw Ayano looking out of her window with slightly dull eyes. Her face slightly healed compared to earlier and the swelling from the bruises much more reduced as well. Seeing the bandages wrapped around her head and the gauze secured under it on the back of her head, Damon felt an ache in his heart. ''I really am pathetic, aren''t I? I couldn''t even protect her...'' Silently closing the door, Damon walked over to the side of Ayano''s bed and sat next to her. Ayano seemed to be shocked out of her stupor as her eyes darted over to the person she didn''t notice sit down. When her eyes noticed who it was, they widened in shock as she quickly covered her face with the blanket. "Please, Damon...Don''t look at me..." her whispering voice spoke volumes about her agony she was currently experiencing. Damon didn''t quite know what to say to her, all the slight planning he''d done on the way here going out the window as he felt an invisible block in his throat. So he didn''t speak, he just stood up and got himself a glass of water and one for Ayano and walked back over to where he was sitting next to Ayano. Placing the glass for Ayano on the table next to her, he took some big gulps from his quickly finishing the glass of water. Damon saw Ayano''s thin and slender fingers clenched so tight they were bone white and shaking, sending another pang of pain through his heart. Leaning forward, Damon''s head lay in his propped up hands. He searched for things to say, he looked all throughout his head for anything but he just couldn''t think of what to say and he could only peek through his unkempt hair at the outline of Ayano''s figure. As he looked at the suffering girl, only one thing seemed to be the right thing to say, so Damon said it. "I''m sorry, Ayano...If only I was quicker...If I was quicker I''d have been able to stop them..." Damon''s voice was incredibly hollow and hoarse, completely different from his usually cheerful voice. Ayano hearing Damon stopped shaking and stopped gripping the sheet over her face with her vice-like grip. Ayano peeked her eyes out above the sheet and looked at Damon who was now gripping his hair while leaning forward and looking at the floor. Her eyes looked at him with sadness and agony in them, she blamed herself for making Damon do those things and feeling so bad about what happened to her. "Damon...I...--" Ayano started speaking but when she saw Damon look up at her, she stopped. There were no tears in his eyes, nor did he say anything but the feelings filling his eyes were enough to get his emotions and thoughts across. Agony, Self-Hatred, and Dejection. The two of them looked into each other''s eyes and after a while, Damon spoke up. "Ayano, I came to tell you that I''m going to have to go away for a while...I killed 4 people and the only reason I''m not in jail is that I''ve been recruited by an unknown organization for my...skills." Damon''s voice was devoid of any energy as he finally said why he was here. Ayano went wide-eyed as she heard what Damon said, panic surging in her body. "W-what?!" Ayano threw the sheet off her body as she threw herself at Damon and gripped his clothes. This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author''s work. Tears started to fall from her eyes as she pulled herself toward Damon with surprising strength from someone so petite and slender. "Don''t leave, Damon...I''m sorry I''m not pure anymore...I''ll try my best to be pure for you, so please stay...!" Damon was taken aback by what Ayano said. Damon placed his hand on Ayano''s back and rubbed her back to calm her down. "Don''t say stuff like that Ayano...No matter what happened, you''re still pure and besides, I''m leaving because I have no choice. I''ll stay in touch with you and Erika through our phones, so you can phone or text me whenever you need to." Ayano stopped shaking but tears still poured from her eyes and she still gripped Damon''s clothes with a grip of someone who seemed like they were going through rigor mortis. Damon just let her get it all out because he knew she needed to do so. All he could do was hug her and try to calm her down by doing so. "Ayano?" Damon looked down at her as he heard her lightly breathing and saw that she wasn''t moving much anymore. Checking a bit more thoroughly Damon saw that was asleep and guessed the mass of emotion that she''d just experienced plus what happened to her earlier had worn her out. Damon carefully lifted her off of himself and lay her back on her bed before tucking her in. Finished, he turned around and walked toward the door. He was slightly thankful that she fell asleep because from how she was just acting, Damon knew she wouldn''t have let him leave easily. At the door, he turned back and looked at his childhood friend one last time before he exited the room and walked toward the next one. The clamminess returned as he stood outside Erika''s room but this time he got on with it and quietly opened the door and entered the room. As if a mirror image, Erika was blankly looking out of her window, her cuts and bruises slightly healed as her swollen face from earlier had lessened quite a bit. Unlike Ayano however, Erika didn''t have any bandages or gauze on her body. Her red hair was sprawled across her shoulder and chest, looking messy but at the same time beautiful. Sadly, her dull blue eyes and dull expression took away from her beauty at the moment, not that Damon was really looking at her for that. He quietly walked over and sat on the chair next to Erika. Erika''s head shot toward the direction of Damon, the adrenaline from earlier not quite worn off yet. "Damon!" as soon as she saw him, Erika perked up a bit and her guard dropped slightly but the fact it was still up hurt Damon a little bit despite him understanding why she had it up. Damon tried to smile to encourage her but his smile was crooked and looked incredibly fragile. "Hello, Erika. How...how are you holding up?" Damon''s voice was light as he worriedly looked over Erika''s face for any tell that he could use to tell how she felt about him. Toward Damon''s question, Erika seemed to sink into her bed as she averted her gaze from him. "I''m...uhh, I''m as good as I could be at the moment...after what happened..." her voice was as fragile as Damon''s smile earlier. Damon mentally slapped himself for even bringing it up to her but his mind was in shambles at the minute and he couldn''t quite sort it out fully. "I''m sorry, Erika. I''m just so, so sorry." Damon''s voice was shaky as he looked at Erika with pain in his eyes. He knew his childhood friend like the back of his hand and he knew she always tried to hide her problems from other people to avoid being a burden. Erika shuddered as if shocked by something as she looked at Damon. "What...?" her voice was barely a whisper but Damon heard it fully as he carried on. "I''m sorry I wasn''t quick enough, I''m sorry I couldn''t stop them before they did what they did but most of all...I''m sorry I showed you such a sickening side to me..." Damon covered his face with his hands, gripping it like he was trying to crush it. "I''m sorry I let this happen to you and Ayano...Such a terrible, horrific thing happened to you two and I couldn''t stop it because of how pathetic I am...I--" Before Damon could carry on, Erika grabbed his arms and somehow pried them away from his face showing his widened, red-rimmed eyes and the lunacy flowing around in his yellow irises. "None of that was your fault, Damon!" Erika yelled at him with tears pouring out of her eyes. "It was those pigs who did this, not you so-called patheticness!" Damon''s eyes seemed to go blank for a minute before he smiled in a self-deprecating way. "Wow, how much of an idiot could I be, right? I was meant to console you but here you are helping me out. You really are a good friend, Erika..." Erika looked at Damon with worry in her eyes and Damon looked at Erika with worry as well, but there was still guilt in his eyes but there was no self-hatred accompanying it. After Damon''s brief episode of self-hatred, he and Erika talked about how he was going to have to go away for a while. Erika was distressed by this fact as she revealed that she had wanted to stay in Damon''s house for a while, saying that the blond-haired boy made her feel safe. Damon replied with the fact that wherever he was going, she''d be able to text him whenever she wanted and even call him to which the redhead cheered up slightly. "Erika...I don''t have a clue to the amount of pain you''re going through and you''re free to tell me to fuck off if you want but I think it''d benefit you to speak to someone about what happened today, along with Ayano as well. I...This will probably leave a mark on your psyche and take it from me; you don''t want to leave that stuff unattended." Damon weakly smiled as he said this. He didn''t want Erika to end up like him; someone who was quite mentally ''unique''. Erika seemed to think for a while before finally nodding her head. "I''ll give a try." her voice was light as she looked down at her lap and started fidgeting with her hands. Neither of them spoke for a while but Erika looked like she wanted to say something. Damon could take a guess that she wanted to bring up about seeing him kill but he cut her off. "Don''t, Erika. You don''t need to console me about the killing. I''m sorry to say this, but that organization recruited me for a reason; I''m a born killer. There''s no going back for me now." As he said that he got up and went to walk away but felt a tug at his shirt. "Please...stay a little longer..." a whisper filled with hope sounded out behind him and Damon turned around. "Sadly I can''t--" Damon pressed his finger into a specific place in her neck and Erika simply widened her eyes and passed out. But as she was falling back into the bed she heard what Damon said next. "--because if I stayed any longer, I wouldn''t want to leave..." and she saw his brilliant smile one last time before the darkness took over. Damon quickly left the room and the hospital before quickly getting back to the car Nox was in. Before entering the car, Damon looked back at the hospital as a single tear rolled down his cheek. ''Goodbye, Ayano, Erika...'' And with that, he wiped the tear away and a smirk spread across his face as he entered the car. "So, let''s get these tests over and done with." Damon looked at Nox and said in a carefree way and before he knew it, they were off. Chapter 3 - Tests and Unexpected Stuff The ride to the Academy, as Nox kept calling it, didn''t take very long and they reached it after a short 10-minute ride. Along the way, Nox gave Damon some tablets and told him to take them. Damon tried to ask what they were for but Nox kept dodging the question, so figuring that Nox wouldn''t want to kill their newest recruit, Damon took the tablets. Looking at the academy, Damon was a bit shocked at how big it truly was and the fact that he''d never noticed it before as it was in such a close vicinity to his house. There were 3 main buildings forming a triangle, each of the buildings had a different color scheme. The one on the left of the entrance was blue and black, the one on the right of the entrance was nearly completely black and the one furthest from the entrance was red and black. Damon felt that the colors went together quite well despite them looking a bit odd at first glance. Nox hurried the fascinated Damon along and took him toward the blue and black building where he signed a few papers and a few doctors appeared after a few minutes. "Ah, Nox, it''s good to see you again. What are you here for?" A tall blonde lady with a lab coat walked toward Damon and Nox. Due to her height, she looked down at Nox slightly as she smiled at him. Nox also smiled at her and walked forward and hugged her. "It''s good to see you as well, Natasha. And I''m here because of this big fella--" Nox slapped Damon on the back, who smiled politely at the beautiful woman in front of him while Nox carried on "--He''s the newest recruit, so we need to get him tested before the Bestowal." Natasha nodded as she motioned for the two of them to follow her and follow they did. After walking a little bit, Natasha walked them into a room with some medical equipment, a bed and what looked like a full body scanner. Natasha told Nox to stay outside of the room for the first part and after Nox had left she turned to Damon and told him to strip fully. Without getting embarrassed, Damon completely stripped showing his perfect body and light brown skin eliciting a gasp and an ''Oh my~'' from Natasha who looked at all of his body, everything seemed to her liking. "You really have physically matured well-beyond your peers, haven''t you Mr? Especially that thing down there, how big~" Natasha''s voice sounded like the purr of a cat as she got closer to Damon and cupped her breasts in a seductive manner. Yet Damon just blankly looked at her, obviously not caring about her attempts at seduction. This caused Natasha to scoff in disbelief as she shook her head. "You really are perfect for this organization mentally. Now let us see if you''re physically perfect for it." Natasha slapped the bed motioning for Damon to sit on it. Sitting on the bed, Damon let Natasha poke and prod him with multiple different pieces of equipment before she wrote on a notepad she kept in her pocket before doing more prodding and poking. "Okay, now get in that scanning machine after putting this on." Natasha threw him a hospital gown and pointed at the high-tech looking bed with loads of trinkets attached to it. Damon slipped the gown on and tied the string on the side making sure it tightly held his body before getting into the chamber of the machine. Natasha called Nox in who was presumably already opening the door as he entered before she even finished saying his name. She handed him the results of her normal medical tests before clicking a button which closed the chamber shut and started up some whirring sounds in the scanner itself. Nox looked at the medical results and nodded his head with a satisfied face which screamed ''I knew I''d got a good one!~''. Damon lay back and didn''t move and as the scanning started he closed his eyes. The scanning was quick and before Damon knew it, it was all over. Natasha clicked a few more buttons before the chamber was flooded with some kind of gas before it opened. Damon stepped out, unperturbed by the sudden appearance of gas and walked toward and sat down on the bed from before. The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement. Natasha was looking at a screen with a shocked look on her face. Seeing this, Nox wondered over next to her and looked at the screen, only to show an expression that looked equally shocked and surprised. "Hoho! Who''d have guessed I pulled in such a good candidate!" Nox seemed incredibly happy with himself as he walked up to Damon and examined him with a discerning eye. Damon squinted his eyes at Nox. "Are you going to tell me what you two are gushing about?" his voice came off slightly impatient but Nox and Natasha didn''t seem to care and Natasha even stepped forward as she started to explain what they''d found. "Well, we discovered you don''t need to go through the training before entering the Academy. Your body is already peak human in level, it''s also has a weirdly high compatibility with the Surgeries that all the Students must undergo before they join the academy and you even already have a Gift." Natasha seemed impressed that there was such a person who had these things and wasn''t born and raised by the Organization. "Granted that your gift is an incredibly high-leveled one but still, you have the right mentality as well." Nox chimed in while looking like a kid on Christmas. Damon wondered why he was so excited, was he going to get a pay rise because of this or something? Mental jokes aside, Damon did have some questions. "Surgery? What kind? And what''s this Gift you''re both going on about?" Natasha stepped forward and cleared her throat in a matter-of-fact way. "Well, the surgery is how we give our Killers abilities and powers most can only dream of. It''s pretty complicated and we don''t have enough time but to simplify it; We put a device in a Students body where it releases special chemicals and hormones which change the student''s body over time pushing them to superhuman levels." Nox stepped forward and added to what Natasha said. "Yeah, I have one, so does Natasha. They have different effects depending on the person and it manifests in different ways." "In what kind of different ways?" Damon knew he''d have to undergo this surgery, so he at least wanted to know what it''d do. "Well, it''s pretty hard to explain Damon. Let me put it like this; Have you read about Supernatural Creatures?" Natasha sat next to Damon and looked him in the eyes waiting for his reply. Damon nodded his head like she was dumb to even ask the question. "Then that''s how it manifests differently depending on the person. Some people gain the abilities of a Vampire, some a Werewolf, and others a Kitsune. I, for example, gained this--" She lifted her hand up and her pale skin took on a slightly greenish tint and her fingernails elongated into sharp claws "--I gained the abilities of a Jiang Shi, or a Chinese Vampire." She playfully winked at Damon as her tongue came out of her mouth. It was much longer than a normal person''s tongue and looked much more dexterous, like a prehensile limb. Damon''s face paled as he looked at Natasha''s now inhuman hands, he felt like he''d gone completely crazy. His brain went a mile a minute trying to think about an explanation for this but he found nothing. When he was about to attack her as his instincts told him so, he stopped as he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Calm down, kid. Don''t let your Gift get the hold of you, Natasha isn''t going to hurt you." Nox''s calm voice sounded out and oddly soothed Damon''s taut mind. "Again with the Gift. Can you explain it to me without turning your hand into some nightmarish claw?" Damon spat out his annoyance as he glared at Natasha. For some reason, he felt he''d already adapted to the thought of there being people with Supernatural abilities. It was quite...worrying, to say the least. "Of course I can, plus my Manifestation isn''t as Monstrous as hers." Nox leaned against the wall and closed his eyes before he spoke again "Gifts. Unlike the surgery which can be given to anyone as long as they have even the slightest amount of compatibility, Gifts are innate things; stuff someone''s born with." Damon just looked at Nox, waiting for him to continue as Natasha had already moved over to a computer where she''d started to type something up. "Your Gift, Damon, is the Gift of Hyper Instincts. Have you ever wondered how you master things so easily? How you know the answer without thinking about it? It''s because of your Gift. Just take it as you''ll be able to adapt to any situation with this gift but within limits, however. Don''t go jumping into fire hoping you''ll adapt." Nox opened his eyes and appeared in front of Damon and threw a normal punch at the blond boy''s face. Without having to think, Damon leaned his head to the right and grabbed a scalpel next to him and swung it at Nox''s throat. The fist went past his head and the scalpel in his hand slashed past Nox''s throat. Damon got the message of what Nox was trying to show him but he hurriedly looked at Nox to see if he was fine. Nox was looking down at Damon as the scalpel struggled against his skin, not even cutting it slightly. Damon let out a sigh, not surprised he dropped the scalpel and stood up. "I get it. So what are we doing next?" Damon stretched his arms and legs and looked toward Natasha. Suddenly he felt a needle enter his neck. "You''re going into the surgery~" Natasha''s playful voice spoke out next to Damons ear as he fell backward, only to be caught by the flirty blonde behind him. ''I''m really going to get back at her when I Manifest my abilities after the surgery...'' And then there was black. Chapter 4 - Manifestation POV Change - Natasha Natasha picked up the big figure leaning on her and put him over her shoulder. Nox followed closely behind her, checking to see if there was anything wrong with Damon. Natasha couldn''t help but playfully run her hands along Damon''s perfectly muscular body. And Nox couldn''t help but shake his head disapprovingly while muttering something about her committing a crime. ''Mhmm...This kid really does have an amazing body, even when compared to people who''ve Manifested.'' Natasha thought multiple lines like these when she was walking toward the room for surgery and before she knew it, she was knocked out of her daydream and greeted by the sight of the fully prepped operating room. She flung Damon onto a bed which locked restraints around his arms and legs. Meanwhile, Natasha was washing her hands and putting on the necessary apparel for the surgery. By the time she''d put everything on, she didn''t look anything like her usual self. Her blonde hair was unseen and her face was completely still without emotion. Natasha walked over to the operating table Damon was currently strapped into and the people surrounding him who were prepping him for surgery. Natasha saw they weren''t done yet so she walked over to a sterile box and opened it. Coming from inside, a white glow lit up Natasha''s bright blue eyes. Natasha looked at the origin of the white glow and saw a kite-shaped crystal. ''Every time I see one I can''t help but wonder; How did we manage to make something so beautiful?'' Natasha continued to look at crystal for a while before one of the supporting doctors called her over and told her they were ready for the surgery. Natasha closed the box and walked over to the table. She picked up a scalpel and easily sliced through Damon''s chest and started the surgery. She kept slicing with expert and calculated cuts and before long, Damon''s chest was completely open for all to see. Natasha told someone to bring the box over to her and when she got the box, she opened it up and grabbed the white crystal. Natasha''s body went slightly green as she lined the crystal up with Damon''s heart. After making sure she was ready, Natasha ordered the others to deliver the injections to Damon''s major muscle groups and then to give the deep bone injections. All the others around her nodded and got to their specific tasks while Natasha made sure to not move the crystal as she''d got it as in line with Damon''s heart as possible. As soon as the liquid in the syringes were injected into his body, Natasha swung the crystal up and them down into Damon''s heart in one swift motion. The crystal reacted instantly and started to glow red and white as it mystically sunk into Damon''s heart. Natasha and the others got to work quickly and removed the equipment holding Damon''s chest apart. Once they did it, they let out a sigh of relief as Damon''s chest started to pull itself together again and start to heal. All the surgeons were used to this sight and they ignored it as they left the operating room. Nox came forward as he looked at the wriggling muscles on Damon''s body and Natasha looked at him with a weird glint in her eye before looking at the screen next to the operating bed. "So we know what he''s manifesting yet, Natasha?" Nox''s curious but ultimately carefree voice sounded out next to her as he casually took out a cigarette and lit it, taking casual puffs from it. "Not quite yet, but he is leaning more towards the Undead side of things." Natasha absentmindedly spoke as she continued to tap away at the keyboard in front of her while monitoring the changes in Damon every once in a while. Nox nodded as he walked out of the room, telling Natasha to call him when he Manifests fully. Inside Damon''s body, multiple changes were happening. His muscles were growing stronger and stronger, his bones were getting harder and harder and his organs were getting better and better. Slowly but surely his hair started to change. It started to lighten visibly and soon became as white as snow. Nothing else seemed to change when it came to his appearance at first glance. Natasha wasn''t surprised with his hair color change, it was a natural occurrence to those who Manifested. Most supernatural creatures and races had certain hair colors and so it wasn''t strange those who Manifested aspects of that race would gain a certain hair color. A few hours past like this. Damon had slightly changed in appearance, he''d grown an inch and his muscles seemed to have gotten even more defined than before while seeming even firmer than before. His skin color also darkened slightly adding even more contrast between it and his pure white hair. This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report. A beep went off, dragging Natasha''s attention away from the computer in front of her and focusing it on Damon who was opening his eyes slowly. "Nox, get in here, he''s awake!" Natasha yelled for Nox as she walked over to Damon before she realized something was wrong. His eyes were unlike the mesmerizing gold they were before and were now bright yellow. Even weirder, his pupils had changed into slits from their normal human appearance. Natasha quickly dashed back to the computer she''d just left as Nox came in and looked at her hurried appearance inquisitively. "What are you doing, Nat?" Nox yawned and stretched as he spoke but his nonchalant attitude as he saw Damon start to thrash about. "He''s going into a Berserk state, his Gift is sending him over the edge because of the new instincts he''s gained. I''m trying to figure out what he manifested so I can suppress him." Natasha''s hands flew across the keyboard as she sought the answers. Nox could only watch as he saw Damon''s muscles bulge and contract as he strained his metal constraints. These constraints were made for recently Manifested Students and the fact the metal was slowly creaking terrified Nox a little bit when he thought about the potential of Damon if this was his start out strength. "Ah, got it! Let me read the information..." Natasha leaned toward the computer and rapidly read the information appearing in front of her. "Nox, you lucky bastard, you really found a good one. Cast a Holy Aura on him, Nox." Nox was confused with what he said but he waved his hand and sent an aura of light to surround Damon. Instantly, Damon stopped trashing and looked devoid of all energy. Nox looked confusedly toward Natasha who was now looking through some draws next to her and before long she took a small lock and chain out and threw it at Nox. "Imbue that with a Holy Blessing, would ya?" Nox caught it and while he was still confused, he did what Natasha asked before passing it back to her. Natasha walked toward the subdued Damon and wrapped the chain and lock around his wrist before locking it in. Nox looked at her with a questioning look and finally spoke when she turned around. "Why''d you do all this? Why''d he go Berserk? And why did my Aura effect him so much?" "As I said before, you brought in a really good recruit. He''s a Hybrid but not just any kind of Hybrid, he''s a Hybrid between 2 Lost Races." Natasha paused and her expression changed from a one of admiration to a grimace "But due to the instincts of those specific races, his Gift went into overdrive and made him lose himself a little. Oh, and because both of his races are Undead he was pretty easily subdued by you, someone who Manifested as an Angel." Nox had a look of understanding as he canceled his Holy Aura which was blanketing Damon. With the Aura gone, Damon slowly opened his eyes groggily. To their relief, his eyes were back to their usual soft golden yellow with normal pupils rather than the glaring and piercing bright yellow and slit pupils from before. POV Change - Damon Damon slowly opened his eyes and looked around the room confused by the new information he was receiving. He could see more clearly, he could smell everything in the room and hear everything in the room including Natasha and Nox''s heartbeats. It was distracting, to say the least, but after a few seconds, he gained control over them. ''Gotta feel thankful that I have my Gift, don''t know how fast I could control the sense on my own.'' Feeling the restraints on his hand, Damon looked at Natasha. "You gonna take these off or what?" Damon couldn''t help but feel he had to be somewhere but when he thought about it, he really didn''t know why. Without Natasha doing anything, the restraints unlocked and Damon could stand up. When he stood up, he finally felt the power coursing through his body like a raging and unstoppable river. Lifting up his right hand and clenching it, he saw a dull golden chain and lock on his wrist. "What''s this and why do I feel discomfort from merely looking at it?" the discomfort in Damon''s voice caused Natasha to wryly smile as she explained his undead-related manifestation. After explaining it all and why he had to wear it, Nox looked incredibly tired and disappointed. "Okay, I guess I''m fine with wearing this until I can control my more violent instincts. So you gonna tell me what I manifested?" a slight bit of excitement slipped into Damon''s voice but he didn''t know why it just happened. Natasha walked over to her computer and clicked a button causing a piece of paper to slide out of her computer and into her hand before she walked over and handed it to Damon. "Here''s all the information you''ll need, so knock yourself out~" Damon took the paper from her and looked at it. Seeing what he saw, he couldn''t help but feel a little shocked. Vampiric Ghoul (Lost Race): The Guards for the Royalty of the Undead, the Vampires. To make up for the weaker bodies of the Vampires, when compared to other Races, Vampiric Ghouls were made with the goal of being Physically Superior to most Races to cover for the Vampires weaknesses. As such, they don''t have the same Weakness as Vampires which is Sunlight. Fast, Agile and most of all tenacious, Ghouls are deadly creatures which feed on the flesh and blood of those unlucky enough to be found by such Unholy Creatures. In this way, they operate as Bodyguards to the Royal Vampires and are even used as Assassins due to their overall compatibility with Killing. No Magical Potential. Aura Potential is Immense. Weaknesses: Holy Items Werewolf (Lost Race): The same as Ghouls; Bodyguards for Vampires. Despite them doing the same job, there was no camaraderie between Ghouls and Vampires meaning they had to be put on different guard shifts. Werewolves on the Day shift when the Vampires slept and Ghouls on the Nightshift when the Vampires were awake. Physical Brutes, Brilliant Senses, and Incredible Instinct, Werewolves make brilliant Fighters and even better Bodyguards. No Magic Potential. Aura Potential Immense. Weakness: Silver Damon felt a bubble of pride in his chest when he looked at what he''d manifested but he wasn''t quite sure where it came from. Along with this pride, he felt an emptiness in his chest, like he needed to do something and when he read the information about the two races, he really hoped it wasn''t what he thought it was. But sadly, Natasha burst that bubble. "Okay, seeing what you manifested, we''re sending you into the academy to both learn and to protect. We have the perfect candidate for you to protect as well!~" Natasha''s gleeful voice only served to make Damon''s face darken. ''I''ve been turned into the perfect guard and killer package, haven''t I?'' Damon couldn''t help but playfully remark about his own misfortune as he stood up to follow the two of them as they left the room. Chapter 5 - Tests As Damon walked behind the two people leading him, he felt his balance was slightly unsteady. Not because of a disability caused by the surgery but purely because of himself being so unfamiliar with his new strength. Every casual step he took either turned into a hop or the start of a sprint and it was slightly annoying to someone such as Damon who had superb control over his body in the past. Natasha and Nox heard the commotion and then saw it and couldn''t help but laugh at the stumbling teen. Natasha kept teasing him which was slightly grating on Damon for a reason he didn''t quite understand. Luckily, Damon could rely on Nox who gave him a few tips on how to get his new strength under control. After applying some of the advice, Damon felt it was miles easy to walk but it still posed the question on how much effort it would take on Damon''s part to correct other physical actions he would perform in the future. Nox seemed to see this worry and spoke up. "Don''t worry about your lack of control, you''ll be undergoing some pretty intense training and it''ll soon help you break in your new body. Unluckily for you, however, both I and Nat are gonna be your personal trainers and we aren''t exactly gonna go easy on you." When Nox first started speaking, Damon was thankful but as the black-haired man continued to speak Damon''s face paled more and more. ''These two seem quite eccentric so I can only guess that their training will also be strange...I''m starting to slightly regret my choices...'' Damon lamented on his soon-to-be situation but deep down he still felt excited about the possibility of getting stronger. When he felt this excitement he felt a little worried as this excitement came from the part of him that wanted to kill. His so-called ''dark side'' or whatever you''d call it. It''d been with him for most of his life but it hadn''t really spoken up in a while as he''d pretty much reached the very limits of what a human could reach but ever since he found out about the supernatural world, that thirst for power had come back with even more gusto. And after the Manifestation, it was followed by other voices, which Damon presumed was his Ghoul and Werewolf instincts, which told him to get stronger for the person he must protect. Thinking about how he seemed bound to someone, Damon couldn''t help but feel a bit bitter. He knew he wouldn''t have as much freedom as before after he met his Young Miss/Master and this annoyed him because he still wanted to be able to meet up with Ayano and Erika every once in a while. Speaking of which. "Nox, when there are holidays in this Academy, can I go and visit Ayano and Erika? In the next few months, they''ll probably need me more than ever." Damon''s voice had an unusual desperate tone which caught Nox and Natasha off guard. Natasha spoke up before Nox, the black-haired man still slightly shocked that the tall, carefree youth from before could ever seem desperate. "Yes, as long as your Young Miss/Master allows it you''ll be able to visit them on the holidays." Her voice was oddly serious like she understood what Damon was going through. Nobody spoke after this. Nox seeming to not care about the silence, Natasha looked like she was in deep thought about something and Damon was currently thinking about the information he''d seen on the paper about his Manifestations. When they walked for a while longer, they arrived at a futuristic-looking weights room which Damon and the others entered. Damon was looking around, wondering why they came here and as if reading his mind, Nox spoke up. "We''re here to see your current strength, speed, endurance, and recovery rate. It shouldn''t take too long." And like Nox said, it didn''t take long at all. He did the necessary strength tests, ran the necessary speed tests and kept running for the necessary endurance tests. The only one Damon wished had a bit more of a warning for was the recovery rate test. He was slapped around by Nox and Natasha to the point was it was easier to see which part of his body wasn''t bruised and which bones weren''t broken. Luckily for Damon however, his recovery rate was by far his best attribute. He healed from almost any injury within minutes, even broken bones. Natasha was fascinated by it and wanted to see how far it could heal but was soon stopped by Nox. Damon discovered his healing ability had some very positive effects as well. After lifting weights at the very limits of his strength and then resting, the muscle would heal incredibly quickly and be stronger than before. Granted the strength boost was small but it would eventually add up as Natasha and Nox spoke their thoughts on it. As Damon was thinking about all of these new powers, he couldn''t help but think of more than a few questions which he quick fired at Natasha. This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience. "Natasha I have some questions." Was all Damon said before he started listing them off without waiting for a response, his curiosity overwhelming his manners. "Why do I heal so quickly? Why didn''t I pass out, or even die, from the shock and pain caused by most of my bones being broken? And why did I feel stronger after each time you guys physically broke me?" The last part was something Damon had realized along with the quickened muscle growth he had. Every time he got back up from being beaten into the ground, his body felt stronger overall. Natasha seemed unperturbed by the quick-fire questions and answered in a calm voice. "Those are pretty simple questions to answer. First off, you heal quickly because of the healing factor all Werewolves have." Natasha took in a big breath of air to prepare for the mass of speech she was about to perform. "Secondly, you have a Ghoul''s sturdiness and pain resistance meaning you have the necessary vitality and mental strength to stay alive regardless of the injury. It''s quite well fitted for your werewolf healing factor. And finally, this is another werewolf trait. Whenever a werewolf is pushed to the brink of death or given a fatal injury and they can survive and heal back to full, their body learns from its weaknesses and cancels them out while simultaneously enhancing the strengths. Any more questions?" She looked at Damon, waiting for him to ask more questions. Damon sat there on the floor and thought about what she told him. Before another one hit him. "You say the ghoul''s vitality is really well-fitted for the healing factor, so if that''s so, why didn''t the vampires try to meld the two species together? And if that''s a question that has an answer, are vampires real and alive nowadays?" Damon''s questions seemed to catch Natasha and Nox off guard. Nox and the blonde-haired woman both stood there, thinking for a while before shrugging their shoulders seemingly alright with divulging information to Damon as he''s signed a Vow of Silence kind of contract. Nox spoke up "It''s quite easy to answer those questions but right now, I''ll answer your second question first: Vampires were real." "They were real? So they went extinct?" Damon tilted his head to the side in confusion. "They went extinct in a way but none of them died." Natasha spoke up this time and carried on before Damon could fire the obvious question at her "There once a myriad of races on Earth. Vampires, Dragons, Angels, you name it, it was on Earth." Natasha spoke with wonder in her eyes before her face turned dark. "All until one dreadful day all the Manifest Clans remember; the Bestowal. Or better known as The Great Removal. All the races were turned into Humans by a twisted God who was passing by." Natasha seemed angry for a second before she seemed sad and then finally landed on indifferent. Damon was quite shocked by what he was hearing. ''Not all this can be true, right? Gods exist?'' Natasha saw the suspicion on Damon''s face but ignored it as she carried on with her story. "But they were left with a single gift; Manifestation. They were Human, but they were the first Humans who Manifested. Obviously, they Manifested their previous race''s abilities and after a few dissections to see what had changed they found the crystal all us Manifesters have." Natasha walked over to a bench in the room and sat down on it was her chin resting on her hands which were being propped up by her knees. "They experimented with it a lot and discovered it could be implanted in a non-Manifested Human and that Human would Manifest a random races abilities. A lot of the stuff that happened after that included wars between the races for Manifest Technology, killing a lot of the original species Manifested Humans. This all happened Hundreds of years ago, however, so don''t worry about that." Nox spoke up at this moment. "Yeah, most of the clans now act as International Businesses and whatnot, not really fighting but there''s a fierce cold war going on in the background. That''s why we train killers, to help fund certain groups. We''re kinda like a mercenary production factory." Nox laughed a little at what he said at the end. Damon just sat there, sorting through the information he''d just gained. It was slightly mind-numbing. ''Well, I guess it makes sense that they all existed at one point because where else would the stories about them come from? But it''s still a bit much to take in.'' Damon suddenly stood up, an obvious fire lit in his eyes. As soon as he thought about all of what he knew now, Damon''s instinct that thirsted for power went into overdrive. "Who do I have to protect then? I''m guessing it''s a Manifested Vampire but I''d like to know specifics on my new boss." Natasha nodded her head and pulled a stack of paper out of nowhere and tossed it toward Damon. Damon caught the magically appearing paper but didn''t bother to ask about how it appeared; he''d eventually find out. He looked at the information and flipped through the pile of papers the thickness of a book. "You''ll have to learn all of that" Natasha pointed at the stack of papers in Damon''s hands "You''ll effectively be her bodyguard, her butler, her friend, her brother and if she needs it, her lover." Damon''s eyes squinted into a glare when he heard the last part but he let the glare go and let out a sigh. ''They pretty much have me by the balls, so there''s not much I can do. I''ll just have to make the best of it, so let''s see what my new boss looks like--'' Damon stopped on a page in the middle with information about his new Young Miss'' appearance. A beauty, who he knew from the information to the side of the picture, who was 6ft tall and had an incredibly full figure with curves in all the right places was on the page in front of him. Her cold face didn''t take away from her charm, instead, it added to it and along with her crimson red eyes and golden blonde hair it made her seem like the poster child for a Vampire. Damon couldn''t help but swallow some saliva in his mouth looking at her slightly sharp features which seemed oddly soft despite their obvious sharpness. If Damon could compare it to anything, he''d have to compare her to Mari Kurihara Prison School just with blonde hair and red eyes. He also discovered some...complicated information. Name: Mika Tepes Title: The Third Princess of the Vampire Clan He was becoming the guard to the Princess of all Vampires. ''Oh, this is either gonna be fun or its gonna be mentally, physically and emotionally crippling.'' Chapter 6 - One Month of Training and Meeting the Princess A month had passed since the surgery that caused Damon to Manifest. Like he had previously thought, Nox and Natasha''s training was as strange as them. It revolved around abusing his nigh-unstoppable healing factor and constantly breaking his body and letting it build itself back up into a state stronger than before. It allowed him to slowly control his instincts as both a Ghoul and a Werewolf and gave him more control over himself. As such, he''d already graduated to a less suppressive lock on his wrist and could use even more power than before. When he''d just done the tests he was about 10x stronger than he was when he was a ''normal'' human, so he could lift about 3000kg but now he had an increase of about 1000kg, so he could now lift 4000kg. Natasha had told him that he could soon take the suppressive lock off and have access to an overall strength of 4500kg. He was happy with his progress but he was curious about why his body didn''t seem to get stronger from the training as much as it should. Well, that was until Natasha explained to him that he wouldn''t gain much in physical improvement until the lock was fully removed, plus he hadn''t unlocked Aura yet. Other than being beaten constantly, Damon had been learning from Natasha about things he''d need to know. The history of some of the races (mainly vampires in Damon''s case), some history about wars and the like but what he enjoyed the most was the lessons about Aura. Aura was Damon''s only route to power because of his non-existent talent for Magic. Aura was the life-force of a creature, everyone had it but it took talent to be able to sense it and even more talent to be able to use it. Luckily, these talented people weren''t that few so, in the end, these talented people became the norm in Supernatural society. Aura is made by the body and kept there but if you have an Aura manual you can learn how to harvest it and use it to both permanently and temporarily enhance the body. It can also be used for Energy Attacks, similar to Ki Attacks in Dragonball. Damon couldn''t gain access to a manual until he joined the academy but that didn''t stop him from being able to learn the theory behind Aura Control and how best to use it and train it. Anyway, he didn''t have long to wait until he joined the academy anyway. The first day was only 3 days away and he was set to meet Princess Mika tomorrow to get settled into the new house they would both be living in. Damon''s stomach rumbled and he looked down at his stomach in confusion; this was another question that had been plaguing him since the start of the month. The question is that he was always hungry and the even weirder part is that his diet was simply, well, to put it nicely, ''unique''. Damon walked to the kitchen from the training room and saw both Natasha and Nox talking about something that he couldn''t quite hear despite his incredibly keen senses. Not that he particularly cared anyway, his now-common indifferent face not showing his emotions or inner thoughts in any way. Damon walked to the freezer and opened it before taking out a few packs of things. As Damon looked at these things there was a faint light of disgust but it soon disappeared as he sat at the table in the kitchen. Looking at the packs, or better said, bags, Damon opened one and poured the contents into his mouth. The dark red liquid poured into his mouth and down his throat, sending a shiver of pleasure down his spine with a soon followed shiver of disgust. The liquid as you might have guessed was blood. This, along with raw meat, was his new diet and he had yet to truly get used to it no matter how detached he was. Despite his uneasiness at eating these things, he couldn''t help but feel that they had a truly amazing taste nonetheless which honestly made it easier to eat. When Damon asked Natasha about this she simply shrugged her shoulders and said that Hybrids usually exhibit more traits because of the mixture of the races in their body. This mixture made it so their human side was slightly outnumbered and was practically forced to allow more inhuman traits to be shown by the body. Despite this being a big problem mainly with Hybrids, other normal Manifested Humans still exhibited some of these unsavory traits. Some Zombies liked to eat Human Flesh and Brains, Some Angels and Demons don''t need food and Jiang Shi like Natasha may need to absorb life-force to stay alive. Damon knew from the information he''d been given about Princess Mika that she also drank blood, her Vampire Manifestation being unnaturally strong compared to others and meaning she also had these traits. Damon undid another few blood bags and poured the red liquid into his mouth like a glutton of some kind. A part of him was getting uneasy, so he stopped drinking the blood and picked up a raw stack of ribs and started taking chunks out of it, bones and all. His werewolf side was much easier to get used to compared to the Ghoul''s need for Human blood. This was because the Werewolf side just needed the raw meat of any kind and it was satisfied. When he thought about it, Damon thought it was weird that he had 2 different parts of him that had 2 different diets and he had to please both of them but regardless he got on with it anyway. After finishing his meal, Damon left the kitchen and the still talking Nox and Natasha and went back to the training room. He wanted to do some light exercise so he could be in optimal condition for tomorrow when he meets his new boss. Despite his strength not really increasing through the training, his body''s sturdiness had increased incredibly so. If before his skin and muscles would be penetrated by a knife, now the knife would probably chip against his muscles. You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story. Damon didn''t mind about his strength not increasing anyway because Natasha had told him about the fact his physical strength would be unmatched in the D-Class. Despite not knowing what she meant by D-Class, Damon didn''t ask her because if she wanted to tell him she would have. He could only assume that she knew he''d learn about it in the academy. Putting on some weighted clothes made from an incredibly dense metal, Damon started to do push-ups, sit-ups, squats and then pull-ups on a special machine that could handle the weight. Damon''s idea of a light workout would completely stump most D-Class Supernatural creatures into pissing themselves at the harshness of it. The next day~ Damon stood outside a pretty big house and looked around and saw it was surrounded by other big and expensive looking houses. He looked at himself in the reflection of the glass on the door and saw how nicely he was dressed, all to pass the time while he waited for the door to be opened. He had a black dress shirt and along with matching black dress pants and black dress shoes which completed his look of professionality. The only thing dragging it back a bit was the fact his shirt had a few buttons at the top undone and his sleeves were rolled up past his elbows. Both showing that he was quite well-muscled and exercised often. While he was admiring himself, his Ghoul instincts making him surprisingly vain, the door was opened by a black-haired, red-eyed beauty. "Damon Jaeger?" Her voice was incredibly cold as she spoke to Damon. She looked at him with an attitude that said he didn''t care. Damon''s face stayed indifferent as he nodded at the cold beauty in front of him and was led into the house. He didn''t really care how they looked at him, or even what they felt about him because Damon just wanted to do his job nothing else. When he walked into the house, he noticed it was a bit dim with all the curtains closed and the lights put on a low setting via a dimmer switch. Not that it affected Damon''s ability to see in the slightest, he just felt it was weird as from what he knew Vampires were only annoyed by the sun unlike how they were in the books; turned into ash by the sun. ''Whatever, she can do what she wants, she''s the boss afterall.'' As he was inside he got a better look at the girl in front of him. She was quite short at around 5ft but she was still quite well endowed and curvy but at the same time well-toned like she was a warrior of some kind. Damon continued to curiously look at the girl leading him upstairs, she noticed but for some reason despite looking annoyed she didn''t say anything. Not that Damon was looking at her in a sexual manner, instead he was looking at her because he thought of a possibility; she was also gonna be guarding the Princess with him. Pushing this thought to the back of his head, he and the short girl in front of him walked into a big room which looked like a study. When Damon saw the princess sitting at a desk with some slim glasses on, even he, someone detached from most things in the world, felt his heart beat a little quicker. She seemed even more beautiful than the pictures he''d already seen. ''I guess being her bodyguard isn''t so bad after all...'' POV Change - Mika Tepes ''I truly hope my sisters don''t make it too hard for my faction in the Academy...And I can also only hope that this Damon Jaeger who''s been assigned to me isn''t worthless as well.'' Mika Tepes despite being a princess had always been very hands-on with her work. She wished to do her very best at whatever she could because of the fact she''d been outshined by her sisters most of her life. This caused her to be quite humble, for a princess at least, and when she Manifested her strong Vampire side after the surgery it allowed her to burst forward and make her own faction. Right now she was currently planning for how she could use her forces to go up against her oldest sister, Tanya Tepes. Her oldest sister had been pretty hostile to her for her entire life even when Mika possessed no threat to her, so Tanya would no doubt be even more hostile now that Mika was trying to make moves in the fight between the multiple siblings for the throne of the Vampires. As she was going over her plans the door opened to reveal her first personal bodyguard, Hikari, walking into the room followed by a tall man. "Mika-sama, this is the Hybrid sent by your Mother to protect you, his name is Damon Jaeger." Hikari''s voice was as polite as usual which caused Mika to feel saddened slightly. She really wished to be friends with Hikari but alas Hikari was always too formal. Mentally shrugging at this, Mika looked at the tall figure currently standing still in the middle of her study. She traced her eyes quickly over his body and while she couldn''t exactly see most of his muscles, she could feel how much power was compacted into his body and how densely concentrated it all was which caused a small gasp to unknowingly escape her mouth. She looked up at his face and saw how handsome he was which caused her to secretly nod her head. ''A princess like me can''t have an ugly bodyguard, now can I?~'' His white hair looked quite soft and smooth and Mika wanted to pat it slightly; the hair looked like it belonged to a fluffy dog rather than a person. She looked at his face again and realized how detached and indifferent he looked and looked into his bright golden eyes. She saw indifference, a sort of sadness and then she saw nothing. As someone who''d grown up in battles between the royal children, she prided herself on being able to see a person''s intentions but with Damon, she could see anything beyond indifference and detachment which seemed like a big cloud of blackness despite his bright eyes. She looked more closely, using her unique Vampire Ability, Empathy and looked more intently at his eyes. What she saw caused her to freeze for a second. Underneath his indifference, Mika saw brutality, unlike anything she''d ever seen before. She has seen professionally trained torturers with less of a brutal and vicious glint in their eyes compared to this 16-year-old boy. Besides the brutal glint in his eyes, there was a kind of sadistic glee which seemed to relish in giving out and causing pain in others, if this emotion was given a face it would no doubt be twisted in a vicious-looking Cheshire cat-like smile. But when she dug a little deeper, she saw something she''d never forget; an urge to kill, so strong it felt like she was looking into a bloodbath or a mass slaughter. She felt quite shaken by what she''d seen and canceled the ability while also promising herself that she''d never deploy it on this man ever again. But as if to go against her views on him, Damon''s face was spread in a gentle smile. Mika saw that other than his indifference, loyalty seemed to be pouring out of his eyes. And then he kneeled on one knee and spoke. "Your loyal bodyguard is here, Mika-sama." his deep and calm voice sent shivers through Mika''s body. ''Maybe...just maybe he can be useful after all...'' Chapter 7 - Proving Yourself POV Change - Damon Jaeger Damon looked at his new boss, no, the new princess he had to protect and couldn''t help but admire her beauty as she stared at him. His instincts screamed that he was standing in front of a beautiful being and he should kneel. Damon agreed with the first part but the second part was slightly annoying but Damon shrugged it off, not caring for what his instincts have to say in all honesty. Her body looked more bountiful than before like she''d matured quite a bit. She gave off a youthful and mature aura, it was quite a contrast and despite Damon''s indifference for the opposite sex, he knew it was still an objective fact that she was a beautiful girl. Mika''s eyes flashed a bright red as she looked into Damon''s calm eyes. After a while, Damon noticed her slight fear and stiff body and had to suppress a smile. ''Looks like she saw what I look like under all this indifference. Gotta give it to her, she''s the first one to do so without me opening up first. Welp, as expected from my Princess.'' The last part of what he thought was kind of slipped in there by his instincts but he didn''t really mind, they were his and not someone else''s so he''d go with them for now. Damon stepped forward with a slight smile that seemed gentle and kneeled down on the ground before speaking with loyalty in his voice. "Your loyal bodyguard is here, Mika-sama." Damon''s voice was calm and steady, just like his expression. He saw that Mika seemed to shake a little bit and entered some sort of daze as she looked at him. A light cough came from behind Damon, he turned to see the worried gaze of the black-haired girl from before looking at Mika. Mika, hearing the cough, snapped herself out of her stupor and looked at Damon before speaking. "It''s about time, Damon. I was expecting you earlier." Mika''s voice was cold but gentle at the same time, the contrast intrigued Damon but he replied instantly despite his intrigue. "I apologize, Mika-sama." Mika waved her hand, dismissing his ''worry'' and accepting his apology. After doing this, Mika took off her glasses and stood up and walked toward Damon. Damon saw that she''d grown an inch compared to what he knew from the file, so her tall figure at 6''1" looked down at his kneeling figure and spoke. "Damon, do you wish to become my sword? My weapon to kill all those who I want dead?" Mika''s voice was quiet but the seriousness seemed to make it as loud as a gunshot in the room. Mika placed her hand on his hair and seemed to ruffle it about, Damon grinned not entirely disliking the feeling. "You had me at one word, Mika-sama. I''ll become your weapon as long as you keep your side of the bargain." Damon''s face looked indifferent for the start of what he said but as he carried on, it twisted into a look of mania. Mika seemed prepared for this reaction but she still looked a bit fearful that her new bodyguard seemed so...unstable at times. "If you''re to be my weapon, I need to know how good of a weapon you are. Hikari!" Mika called out to the black-haired girl, or Hikari as Damon now knew her as. Hikari stood as straight as an arrow as she did some sort of weird salute that Damon recognized as the salute toward Vampire royalty. ''Need to learn how to properly do that, later.'' Hikari stepped forward after her salute. "Yes, Mika-sama?" her voice was dripping with loyalty like she''d die for Mika. "Let us go and take Damon to the training ground so we can see his strength. You''ll be battling him, so get ready." Mika''s voice left no room for arguments, not that Hikari or Damon would. Hikari because of her loyalty, Damon because he didn''t really care and because the mention of a fight made his calm blood boil a little. Damon stood up and followed behind the tall princess and the small guard find the contrast funny. ''Isn''t it supposed to be the other way around?~'' They went outside to the back garden which was massive in size and saw a platform in the very middle of it. The platform was about 20m by 20m and was elevated about a meter off the ground. Damon walked toward the platform and jumped onto it, walking to one of the sides and waiting there. Hikari, however, walked over with Mika, while holding an umbrella over the pale princess'' head. The wind blew Mika''s hair up a little bit and Damon looked curiously at her as he saw her pointed ears. Seeing him look, Mika slightly smiled and her hair weirdly covered her ears again despite the wind still blowing in her direction. She then took the umbrella off of Hikari and told her to get ready. Hikari did as Mika asked and took off her dress to show a white bodysuit underneath that looked like the mixture of Armor and a Swimming Suit. But before Damon''s eyes, the suit grew and covered her arms and legs and then her hands and feet in the weird white material. Red veins ran throughout the suit after it covered her entire body over than her head, glowing and moving with power. Hikari jumped onto the opposite end of the platform to Damon and looked at him before bowing and speaking. "Hikari Tepes on the Secundi Family, may the Blood watch over you." her voice was calm and surprisingly respectful. ''The Blood? Oh right, the God of the Vampire religion which is pretty much Vampire Christianity. And she''s from the warrior Secundi Family? This might actually be fun. Maybe.'' The Secundi family are the Vampire''s Army Family which produce the best soldiers, while the Primis Family are the Royals like Mika. There''s a third and fourth family but those didn''t really matter right now.If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. Damon returned her respect with a bow. "Damon Jaeger, I do not have a special family, may the Blood watch over you." his voice was calm but Hikari and Mika could hear the slight excitement underneath it, just waiting to burst out. The air went tense for a few seconds before Hikari blasted off from where she was standing. The red veins glowing even fiercer than before. They seemed to be powering and enhancing her movements and strength with magic. Hikari appeared in front of Damon like she teleported and slammed her fist into Damon''s gut. Her elation at proving herself in front of Mika hiding the fact that Damon''s steel like abs didn''t budge even a little. "If you wish to be Mika-sama''s weapon, you must be stronger than this." Hikari''s slightly smug voice spoke out but it soon followed by Mika''s calm voice. "Hikari, I would back away if I were you." Before she could ask why Mika had said that, Hikari''s instincts went wild and she threw herself back and looked at Damon who''s head was just looking at the ground. She saw that he''d lifted his head and was smiling slightly. "Is that all you got? I think you''re the one who needs to get a bit stronger if you wish to help Mika-sama." Damon''s indifferent voice contrasted weirdly with his manic smile, it seemed like he was speaking to something he didn''t care about in the slightest, not even as a human. Suddenly, Damon appeared in front of Hikari with his fist arched back and his feet spread wide. Before she could even react to his presence and speed, Damon threw his fist like a bullet at Hikari''s head while holding nothing back. The black-haired girl went pale as she saw the big fist get even bigger and bigger in her view. It took everything she had to duck under the punch and throw a counter at Damon''s throat. The air whipped around from the lightning fast counter but Damon just moved his body to the side and the fist harmless flew past his face, the air only ruffling his hair a little. Now that she could see his eyes up close, Hikari''s heart was seized by fear. Damon''s eyes didn''t look like a Humans, they looked like a predator''s when they looked at prey; something purely for them to enjoy and mess around with as they please. She didn''t get much time to think, however, as Damon had already whipped his leg around and was attempting to snap her neck with it. The kick''s everything was full of killing intent. It was brutal, ruthless and had no mercy, it was the perfect killing kick. Hikari couldn''t even begin to think about how many mental problems this new co-worker of hers had, but right now she''d truly been pushed up against the ropes and couldn''t do anything because of his killing blows. This fight carried on for a while, with Damon easily blocking or dodging any of Hikari''s attacks while returning the favor and constantly trying to kill her with his attacks. This stalemate continued until Damon finally spoke up. "This is getting slightly boring, I''m gonna take it up a level. Try not to die, I don''t want Mika-sama firing me on the first day." Damon''s voice was unlike his usual indifferent one, it now rang out with sadistic glee and excitement. Hikari tried to escape from his range when he said that but before she could, Damon sent a heavy but fast kick to the front of her knee completely snapping it in the wrong direction. "Arghhh! You bastard!" Hikari couldn''t help but yell in pain from Damon''s kick and went to lash out at him with magic but realized she could no longer see him in front of her. She suddenly felt a tap on her shoulder and she turned around and threw a blood red fireball but she hit nothing before feeling an iron-like grip on the back of her neck. "You really are fun to mess around with. Stuff like this helps to make this boring world a bit more bearable." Damon''s voice was right next to her ear as she felt herself being lifted off the ground. ''Coincidently'' they were facing Mika as Damon showed Hikari how powerless she was in front of him. His Ghoul side was relishing in the sadistic acts, his Werewolf side was loving him displaying his position as the Alpha. There was only one last side to please, Damon slowly tightened his grip around Hikari''s neck causing cracking sounds and screams to reverberate around the garden-- "Let her go, Damon." Mika''s calm voice spoke out causing Damon''s glowing and mania-filled yellow eyes to snap towards her direction and met with her calm red eyes. Sparks seemed to fly between them but eventually, Damon dropped Hikari to the ground and put his hands up in surrender. "Hah~ It was only a joke, Mika-sama, don''t worry." Damon''s face lost it''s twisted look and slipped back into his usual indifferent mask. Mika looked at him and shook her head slightly. "Okay, whatever you say but at least carry her inside so we can heal her. You seem to have damaged her neck a bit." Mika''s voice was cold and had a reprimanding tone. Damon shrugged and leaned over to pick up the short, black-haired girl before holding her in a princess carry. He walked over to Mika before both of them walked back to the house and Mika decided to have some lunch. She asked Damon if he wished for any food. He nodded his head and asked for some blood to the shock of Mika. "Blood? You''re not a Vampire are you?" Mika''s voice was still calm but at the thought that she''d found someone like her caused her voice to be slightly shaky. The reason she didn''t know he drank blood was that unlike Damon who received a file of information on Mika, Mika didn''t receive any information about Damon apart from the fact that he was a Hybrid who would be loyal to her which was all she needed to know at the time. "No, but I am part-Ghoul, Mika-sama." Damon said in a nonchalant manner as they continued to walk into the house where Mika abandoned her umbrella before leading Damon to the dining room. She seemed to have a slight skip in her step as she walked which Damon found cute, in his own kind of uncaring way where he barely cracked a smile at her cute actions. Soon they entered a massive dining room where Mika called for some blood to be delivered. Damon stood awkwardly holding Hikari before he finally spoke up. "Mika-sama, where should I put Hikari-san?" His calm voice brought Mika out of her daydreams and she turned to him and gave him a quick answer. "Just feed her some blood, it should empower her Vampire Body into healing itself and then put her on the chair next to me." Mika said in a matter-of-fact tone as she sat down at the head of the table. As soon as she did that, Maids with all kinds of different hair colors came into the room. Damon thought it made sense, Vampires had some pretty weird hair colors back in the day. Green, Blue, Red, and even Pink, some of these being even more common than Black and Brown. They placed 3 glasses on the table with 3 blood bags next to each of them. Damon decided to feed Hikari as soon as he could. It wasn''t because he was tiring from carrying her; she was pretty much weightless in his arms. No, it''s because he couldn''t be bothered to carry her anymore. He emptied one of the blood bags into a glass and brought it to Hikari''s lips slightly parting them with the glass and pouring it into her mouth. As soon as the blood hit her throat her eyes snapped open and she grabbed the glass off of Damon and guzzled down the blood like some kind of glutton. But unlike Damon who was an actual glutton, she didn''t seem to enjoy the taste. It was kind of like medicine for her; she needed to take it but it tasted like shit to her. Damon put her down on the seat, her neck seeming to be much better than before as she could sit upright and move now. Damon walked around to the opposite side of Mika compared to Hikari who was on her left and sat down. He licked his lips and emptied a blood bag into his glass before waiting for Mika to do the same. She soon did and they both lifted their glasses to one another before Mika spoke. "Here''s to you, Damon Jaeger, my glorious weapon." Mika clinked her glass with Damon''s and they both downed their drinks. This was the start of the Third Princesses rise, her rise with her ever faithful bodyguard and her personal killer. Chapter 8 - Starting at the Academy Damon stood in his room, currently tying a tie around his neck. Today was the day he, Mika and Hikari started at the Academy. His indifferent mask seemed to be slipping slightly as he got dressed, not being able to hide his abundant excitement about setting on his path to becoming powerful. The uniform for the school was a white blazer and matching white dress pants, with a black shirt to wear under the blazer. The tie Damon was currently putting on was white and looked like a normal tie in all honesty. The blazer had black trims which contrasted well with the main white color and the trousers had a single black line down either side. All in all the uniform looked quite nice. It seemed professional while still feeling youthful making a weird, but soothing balance. Damon finished up with his tie leaving it slightly loose along with the top two buttons undone. It looked a bit messy but when Damon wore it like that, it seemed right. Like his uncaring attitude was reflected onto his clothes. Looking in the mirror, Damon nodded his head at his appearance, obviously satisfied and then slipped on his black dress shoes which came with the uniform. Walking out of his room and moving his hand through his unkempt white hair, Damon saw Hikari in her uniform knocking on Mika''s door. "Mika-sama, are you up yet? We need to leave soon." Hikari was wearing an apron over her uniform but it didn''t stop Damon from seeing what she was wearing. The uniform was the same as his but it had a skirt which showed off Hikari''s creamy thighs which were surprisingly thick for someone as short as she was. Along with a skirt, Hikari was where black knee socks with some white at the knee end. Damon walked up to Hikari without a change on his face despite the picturesque scene in front of him. Hikari, seeing Damon, showed a scowl on her face as she sharply spoke to him. "What do you want?" her voice was cold as she glared at Damon. This had been her attitude ever since he completely stomped her in a fight and even if she couldn''t use her magic, the fact he was so physically superior and had fighting technique far beyond hers, annoyed her to no end. ''Man, she really does know how to hold a grudge.'' Damon couldn''t help but make a remark in his head as he grinned slightly as he got near to Hikari and spoke. "What''s the problem with Mika-sama? Is she not waking up?" Damon kept a calm voice despite the glare Hikari seemed to permanently show him. Hikari glared at him for a few more seconds but dropped it after that. "You''re really hard to stay mad at, you know? You never react to anything and it makes me feel like I''m being mad with a mannequin..." Hikari sighed as she looked at Damon with an ''I''m gonna explain something important to you'' kind of expression before speaking "Yes, Mika-sama won''t wake up. She''s never been a morning person and it''s made even worse by the fact she stays up so late every night...But she''ll eventually wake up we just need to wai--" Before she could finish what she was saying, Damon opened Mika''s door and barged in. He was a bit shocked by what he saw. Despite her appearance as a cool and calm beauty who seemed like she''d like plain things, there was a surprising amount of pink in her room. And plushies. Even Damon''s face slightly twitched when he saw it all. Nonetheless, he had a duty, so he walked up to Mika and pulled her blanket off of her. "Ah!" Mika gave out a cute, high-pitch yelp as she felt the cold air around her attack her previously warm body. Hikari gasped as she saw what Damon did, while Damon just kept an indifferent face as he spoke to Mika. "Mika-sama, get up, otherwise we''ll be late for our first day." Mika''s eyes slowly opened to see Damon''s imposing figure loom over her. Her eyes were slightly dazed as she thought this was a dream of some kind before the cold air cleared them up and caused her to realize this was real. "Damon. Get out of my room. Now." Mika grit her teeth as she closed her eyes, shaking as she spoke. Damon shrugged his shoulders and turned around and left the room, not caring about her anger; he''d got her up and that was a mission complete in his head. ''Though, I wish she wouldn''t get so angry at me just for seeing her in her pajamas...'' POV Change - Mika Tepes Mika dressed herself with a red face. She looked sort of fidgety and kept tapping her foot against the floor but she didn''t quite understand why. Thinking about Damon seeing her body in her tight-ish pajamas...Her instincts seemed to do something to her when she thought about it.This novel''s true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there. ''How unseemly of me...! It''s not like he saw my naked body or anything!... Yeah, so it''s fine that he saw me, right?'' Weird thoughts continued to roll around in Mika''s head as she heard Hikari shouting at Damon and his apathetic replies. Hearing the two of them arguing made her smile slightly. She''d never really had much in the terms of friends, so her house had always been quiet and Hikari was too formal to allow herself to speak to Mika as a friend. Mika thought that Damon was what they were missing; the middleman that would serve as the connection between all three. Because despite his loyalty to Mika, as she''d seen and heard yesterday when he followed her order to not kill Hikari and from her Empathy ability she''d seen just how much he wanted to kill. So him not killing just to follow her order showed his loyalty. However, despite his loyalty, he seemed so indifferent about her identity and he acted however he liked around her. She didn''t dislike it either, it was refreshing. She just wished he wouldn''t do stuff like earlier. Thinking about what Damon did earlier again, Mika started to fidget again. POV Change - Damon Jaeger Damon just sat on the sofa eating drinking some blood from a bag as Hikari continued to reprimand him. If he said he was actually listening to her, he''d be lying. "Oi!" Hikari slapped his shoulder "Are you listening to me?!" Damon looked her in the eyes and answered her "Not really. So save your breath, would ya?" Hikari seemed to have steam coming off the top of her head as she looked at Damon who went back to drinking his breakfast. Damon''s ears pricked a little as he heard Mika''s door open and then close and then her light but firm steps coming down the stairs. He stood up and drained the bag into his mouth before throwing the now empty blood bag onto the table in front of him. Hikari had heard the footsteps by now and she walked toward the staircase with a blood bag in hand. Damon himself quickly dashed toward the kitchen, picking up all three of their lunches for today. 3 blood bags for Mika, 6 for himself and some normal food for Hikari. Looking at the bag with all his blood bags in, he lamented over the fact that his appetite was getting bigger with each passing day and it was slightly problematic. Despite the problems, he did get some benefits. The main benefit was that his physical strength, durability and even his speed were increasing with his appetite. The only other benefit was that it seemed to help him control his instincts and he could feel that he was reaching the period where he could take the holy lock off. Thinking of taking the lock off, a smile spread across his face. Its constant weakening was becoming annoying, to say the least, especially to someone like Damon who was so thirsty for power. Damon walked to the staircase himself and picked up his bag from the sofa he was just sitting on. When he got there, Hikari and Mika looked at him weirdly. Damon wasn''t quite sure why but when they spoke up about it, it made sense to Damon. "Whoa, what''s got you smiling? It''s weird to see you so visibly happy." Hikari spoke while looking slightly tense at Damon''s smile, it obviously bringing up bad memories from their fight. Damon handed Hikari and Mika their lunch for today while also putting his in his bag. After that, he answered Hikari by lifting his wrist with the lock and chain on it and spoke. "I feel that I''ll soon be able to remove this. It''ll stop weakening me, so of course, I''ll be happy about it." his indifferent voice had a bit of happiness leaking into it, further shocking the two girls. After this little talk, they all set off for the Academy. It wasn''t that far of a walk and the fact they were all superhumanly fast meant they couldn''t be late even if they tried. Getting to the gate of the school, Damon looked around and saw other people dressed in uniforms like them. Hairs and eyes of so many different colors it reminded Damon of an anime where most of the characters went to a school with so many unnatural people. Damon, of course, knew that all these people were unnatural, however. People were talking with their friends, joking about or even trying to talk to girls they liked. Looking at the scene, Damon was reminded by his time with Erika and Ayano causing him to feel an unusual amount of emotion. ''I''ll never have that back...will I?...No matter, I need to keep Erika and Ayano out of this...world.'' If Mika or Hikari knew his thoughts and the amount of emotion he was feeling, they''d be shocked because despite the few days they''d known him, they could tell he was a very apathetic person as he''d never shown much emotion or care. But what the two didn''t know was how much Erika and Ayano meant to him. During his worst hours, despite not knowing it, those two were there for him. This fact and many others attributed to the fact that he''d kill for them. Damon mentally shook himself away from the feelings of sadness and loneliness and made sure his indifferent face stayed still. He had to make an impression on those in his class today, if he could he''d cement Mika''s position in the class. Damon and Hikari followed behind Mika. Mika herself gained the attention of boys and girls alike as she strode her way into the school grounds. Her beauty right now was almost palpable, like an aura of perfection. Damon gained a lot of looks himself, his tall and broad figure towering over anyone near him, giving an incredibly imposing atmosphere like a God of War or something similar. Those with experience could tell he was Mika''s bodyguard from the fact his strength seemed to make the very air shake in fear. Hikari also got her fair share of looks, the short and well-endowed girl looking like the perfect maid; Beautiful, Calm and Polite. The three of them walked toward where they knew their class was going to be. They found out late last night that they would be in class 1-E, so they walked to where that classroom was. When they got there, Mika swung the door open with grace and the right amount of arrogance. Damon couldn''t help but grin at how different she was compared to the girl he had to forcibly wake up this morning. The contrast would prove to make this life slightly more interesting. Everyone in the class looked towards the people walking in with curiosity. ''Let''s hope this is at least semi-entertaining...'' Damon mentally thought as he met the eyes of all the people looking at the three of them. Chapter 9 - The First Day is always...Fun? There were a total of 15 people in the classroom, all looking at Mika, Damon, and Hikari. Something that struck Damon instantly was how he was the only boy in the class. When he thought about it, the number of boys he''d seen outside and near the gate were a small fraction compared to the number of girls. At the time he simply shrugged it off thinking that most of the boys may have gone inside to class but when he thought back to it, it did seem like an unlikely coincidence. Most of the girls looked at Damon with happiness in their eyes. A mental sigh sounded in Damon''s head. ''If boys are a rarity at this school, then handsome guys are even rarer. It seems I''m gonna be seen as some kind of bragging rights for the girls in the class. How...Tiresome.'' Mika saw the looks and a tinge of possessiveness flashed past her eyes but it disappeared before Damon could see it but most of the girls saw it and were glaring at Mika for trying to keep a handsome boy away from them. Damon, ignoring the looks walked over to a seat over in the corner by the window. Mika and Hikari soon followed him with Hikari sitting in front of him and Mika sitting to his right. Damon looked around and had a thought, so he turned to Mika. "Mika-sama, do you wish for me to draw the curtain for you? I know how sensitive you are to the sunlight." Damon spoke in a whisper so as to not embarrass Mika. Mika''s eyes shot to Damon, her eyes holding some complex emotions but finally they settled on gratitude before she replied. "Yes, please. Thank you, Damon." her voice was full of gratitude and a bit of happiness that Damon thought about her enough to think about how to make her more comfortable. If she knew why Damon really did it, she''d probably hit him. ''Can''t have the sun weakening her. If something happens I need her at full-strength so she can escape.'' Damon pulled the curtains together, blocking off the sunlight which was annoying and weakening Mika. Hikari also looked at Damon with gratitude while thinking he wasn''t such a bad guy after all. Some more people came in after this, filling up the rest of the empty seats in the room. Not surprising Damon at all was that all the people who came in were girls who looked at him and felt pride about their ''bragging'' rights. Damon didn''t care, however, he just leaned back in his chair while looking at the ceiling. He may have looked like some kind of lazy idiot, especially for a bodyguard who needed to be alert and tense to react to any situation. But, in fact, he was alert. Damon had already spread out his sense of hearing as far as he could, along with his sense of Smell to see if any dangerous odors such as a poisonous gas were around and his sense of touch to see if anyone was about to enter the room by sensing the vibrations their footsteps caused. His senses of taste and sight were put on the backburner as he focused on his other three, enhancing them to a certain extent. Suddenly, Damon''s eyes snapped open and he looked over at the door as it slowly slid open. A few other people were like Damon and could sense that whatever was on the other side of that door was a dangerous thing. Mika saw Damon looking intently at the door, so she did the same. A long, brown leg stepped through the door frame. Damon followed the plump but toned leg upward and saw a tight black skirt which emphasized the wearers wide and curvy hips, looking further up her saw a white shirt which held tightly to the person''s figure. It showed Damon a toned and perfectly shaped stomach and a thin waist which gave a big contrast with how wide the woman''s hips were. Above that were 2 enormous breasts which seemed to make the shirt look like it was about to burst open. Damon''s face twitched slightly. ''What a sexy body...Even if I don''t care for romance, I''m still a teenager and my lust and hormones after the surgery have become...slightly troublesome...'' Damon mentally groaned about how his body was reacting to the woman. He looked up further and saw her black hair and then her seductive and beautiful face with two green eyes shining with arrogance and power. The woman looked around the classroom before she spotted Damon staring at her and her body. She smiled and purposely did a small stretch when she got to the podium in front of the class, further enhancing her already well-endowed breasts. Damon''s saw how she tried to tease him and he couldn''t help but mentally laugh a little bit but otherwise, his face didn''t change other than the initial twitch that happened. This caused the teacher to pout slightly but she soon turned around and wrote her name on the board behind her. She finished, turned around and spoke. "My name is Miss Sasaki, I''ll be your teacher from now on, so let''s get along~" her voice was smooth and sexy sounding with a slight huskiness to it but something about her eyes was cold and predatory as she scanned across the class. Everyone would soon find out why she looked at them like this. "Okay, so as per my usual way, I''m gonna spar with the strongest person in the class or the person with the most potential...So let''s see~" She looked around the class while everyone looked confused and Damon just went back to looking at the ceiling. Mika kept looking between Damon and Miss Sasaki who had her eyes locked on him. Mika was slightly concerned for some reason. Miss Sasaki finally spoke up after looking around the ''whole'' classroom. "You there, the only boy in the classroom, come up here and give me your best shot~" her voice was full of seductive allure and playfulness which frankly made Damon''s skin crawl a little bit; it unsettled him. This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there. Damon opened one of his eyes and tilted his head at her. "Do I really have to? Can''t you pick like the second strongest or something?" his voice was full of unwillingness and had a lazy undertone. Miss Sasaki put her finger on her chin in a mock thinking pose while letting out a ''Hmmm~'' from her mouth. After a while, she finally spoke out. "Well, I could. But it''d mean having to fight your princess and I might be a bit heavy-handed and hurt her, do you want that to happen?~" her voice sounded innocent but the threatening tone lying within it wasn''t missed by anyone in the room. Damon''s eyes both locked onto the teacher in a glare before he let out a sigh and reluctantly stood up from his chair. He knew why she was doing this. ''Humiliation and Domination. She wants to show everyone here that she can take down the strongest person here so they become submissive to her. She outmatches me in strength, I can just feel it, so I know I''m gonna get manhandled but even so...I don''t want to get manhandled in front of Mika-sama for some reason...weird.'' By now, Damon made it to the front of the class and started stretching himself causing a multitude of cracks and pops to echo out from his body. He took his blazer and tie off and threw them on the floor. "I''m ready whenever you wanna go, Sensei." Damon''s voice was calm and so was his face as he lifted his arms up and got into a basic combat stance. Miss Sasaki simply giggled and disappeared from where she was before appearing in front of Damon and punching him in the stomach. Damon grunted as he took a few steps back, the only reason he didn''t throw up a mouthful of blood being that his Ghoul side suppressed the pain and the sturdiness it gave his body. The damage seemed to heal but much slower than usual. It was like there was an Aura continuing to do damage to him even after the hit and it slowed down his healing factor. ''Her Aura is quite powerful to be able to linger this long.'' "Oh? You''re not on the floor crying yet? What a sturdy body~" Miss Sasaki''s voice appeared behind Damon who instantly sent a kick heading towards where he assumed her neck would be. The air went turbulent as his whole body swung around with a fierce momentum and power, unlike anything any of the students had seen before. But unfortunately, a soft and gentle looking hand stopped the kick as another hand curled into a fist and blasted into Damon''s chest. Damon spat out some blood, feeling his sternum and most of his ribs breaking. Miss Sasaki looked at Damon with awe in her eyes. She was surprised that Damon hadn''t died, nor let out a scream of pain. She''d definitely have to thank her Younger Sister Natasha for letting her become the teacher of someone so...special. After punching his chest, she didn''t stop there, however. She pulled back her fist and brought it down on Damon''s knee. *Crack!* Damon''s face twitched as he saw his knee go in a direction it wasn''t supposed to. Miss Sasaki let go of his knee and Damon couldn''t stay up straight anymore but as he felt, a hand held onto his neck and lifted him into the air. Miss Sasaki wasn''t much shorter than Damon so lifting him into the air wasn''t too hard. "Hmm, didn''t you get sent to this school because you killed 4 people out of anger? So if I want you to be stronger, I''ve only gotta make you angry, right?" Miss Sasaki''s voice was oddly playful compared to the situation she was in. Her voice sent shivers down everyone''s backs but not Mika''s. No, Mika was too busy glaring at her before looking Damon with worry and concern displayed on her face, to hear Miss Sasaki''s odd tone of voice. "Sensei, I think you''ve proven your point. So put my servant down." Mika stood up and glared at Miss Sasaki with an intensity born from a weird feeling. "Ohohoh~ What about this, Damon, if you don''t land a hit on me, I''ll hurt your precious princess of there~" Miss Sasaki ignored Mika and continued to torment Damon with occasional jabs to his still healing ribs. Damon tried to move but he couldn''t, all he could do was twitch. ''Man, this really hurts...! Gotta find a way out of her grip--!'' Damon tried his hardest but he couldn''t break from the grip and that''s when Miss Sasaki spoke words that shocked him to his core. "Oh, silly me, you''ve only known her for a few days and your genetic induced Loyalty won''t be that big by now. If I really want to get you angry, I have to threaten them don''t I?" Hearing what Miss Sasaki said, Damon went still. "Even better, before I kill them, I might have some of my subordinates play with them for a while~" Damon''s eyes had gone from their dull yellow to a more glaringly bright yellow and his pupils had turned into slits. "You''re aware of who I''m on about, right? I''m saying I''ll take away your precious Ayano and Erika--!" Before Miss Sasaki could continue to speak, a big hand clamped onto her mouth. "Don''t you dare speak their names, you filthy slut." Damon''s voice was dripping with rage and had a bestial growl-like sound to it. POV Change - Mika Tepes Mika watched in pure shock as she heard Damon''s voice and saw his actions. Even if she''d only known him for a few days, not once had she seen him show such anger. It was to the point where she was convinced he was purely apathetic. She watched as Damon''s bent knee snapped back into place with a sickening crunch. She heard his ribs sliding and cracking back into place as well. And then, he started to change. His muscles started to wiggle and writhe like that had minds of their own and his bones started to creak and crack, seeming to expand and grow longer and thicker. His muscles, after moving about erratically for a while, started to expand quickly to fill out his expanding figure. He broke through 7ft before finally stopping once he reached 7''6". His shirt was completely ripped and on the floor by now while his trousers were barely holding together with multiple rips in them. As his body expanded white fur had started to grow out of his body. The fur only covered his arms, parts of his upper chest and ribs but leaving his stomach and middle of his chest hairless. The fur crept up his neck and covered all of it before spreading onto his face leaving two lines of white fur on either side stretching from his jawline to his cheeks. His fingers now ended in sharp and thick black claws which glinted with a dangerous and sharp light. The hair on his head had grown wilder and reached his shoulders and his ears now ended in pointed tips. The canines in his mouth had lengthened and sharpened to an absurd degree, making them look like the teeth of a predatory animal. His eyes were the same as just before he transformed; Bright Yellow with slit pupils. His face was twisted even further in his rage, snarling and growling while looking down at the teacher he had clamped by the mouth with his clawed hands. Mika looked at him as she felt her body tingle and shiver. For some reason, she felt jealous that those girls, Erika and Ayano, could cause such emotions in the ever-indifferent Damon but apart from jealousy, she felt pride. A pride that stemmed from the fact her servant could radiate such power. But she also felt worry for him because she could see how the emotions he was feeling were hurting him. She wanted to be able to help him but she couldn''t. A small spark set alight to a little fire the size of a match flame in her body. The flame being her desire to grow stronger for someone else. Damon, using his weight, which was much heavier than Miss Sasaki by now, as leverage, Damon lifted the teacher up before slamming her into the ground. To his surprise, she didn''t seem that hurt, just curious with an expression that said something that caused Damon to growl at. The expression said that the fight had only just started. Chapter 10 - End of the Fight Damon''s looming figure caused everyone in the first few rows to stand up and back away. He didn''t look like at all like a human at the minute and despite all of them not being purely human either, to see something this inhuman was still a shock to the new students. Miss Sasaki placed her feet on Damon''s chest before pushing suddenly. Sickening cracks and some weird popping sounds echoed in the classroom as Damon collided with the ceiling and fell onto the ground. His shoulder had been dislocated by the fact his grip was so tight around Miss Sasaki''s head when she kicked him backward, forcibly freeing herself from his grip and crushing his ribs all over again for the second time. But unlike last time, Damon quickly stood up as his concaved chest fixed itself at an unnatural speed. Damon grabbed his arm and pushed it upward popping his shoulder back into place. Growling because of the pain, Damon slowly walked toward Miss Sasaki. When he saw the claw marks he''d left on the sides of her head and face and around her mouth, he felt pleased with himself. "Hmmm~ You really are Nigh-Unkillable when you''re attacked by D-Class strength~" Miss Sasaki remarked before she dashed toward Damon. Seeing the dash, Damon let out a roar as he met her charge with his own. Their collision caused a shockwave of air and sound to spread outward, sending small cracks through the wooden floorboards and up the stone walls. They pushed against each other''s hands while digging their feet into the floor to get leverage to push. Damon''s clawed hands dug into Miss Sasaki''s hands, trying to turn them to mush but apart from cutting through the skin and drawing some blood, the hands stayed the same. "Amazing. I''m using the maximum strength a D-Class like you should be able to but the form you''re in now seems to enhance you past those limits...I really do need to thank Nox for finding you..." Miss Sasaki said this as she started to push Damon back and into the ground. Damon was snarling and growling at her, looking like nothing but a mindless beast but despite his appearance, he was completely conscious. He was just absolutely livid at the minute. ''How dare she bring them into this! Kill! KILL! KILL!'' These thoughts rapidly spun around in Damon''s head as he pushed his body to work beyond its limits. Him pushing his body so hard meant he was tearing his muscles, his ligaments and tendons, and even his skin, apart. His bones had numerous cracks running throughout them and his organs had expanded even further to account for his needs. For any normal person, after this fight regardless of whether they won or not, they would die. But not Damon. Damon''s body healed all the damage and made his body progressively better meaning he was constantly improving in the battle. And Miss Sasaki felt this. "You really are lucky to have awakened two races so compatible with each other..." She put more strength in because she knew despite his unnatural healing factor, his body would eventually give out and he''d lose consciousness. But despite what she thought, Damon was far from over. Fur started to spurt out of his legs now, showing through the rips in his trousers. When the fur reached his feet, five thick and sharp claws shot out of his shoe and dug into the ground. These claws look like the ones on his hands but these ones were slightly thicker. Now with his claws dug into the wooden floor he finally had the leverage to use his full power. Using his looming and tall figure he towered above Miss Sasaki and pressed down on his with every bit of strength he had in his body with the sole thought to break her in two and kill her. After transforming into his werewolf form, his strength doubled putting his already immense strength at 4000kg to even higher, more absurd levels. Miss Sasaki wryly smiled as she spoke "Well, looks like I lost the bet with the Principle, I''m gonna have to use C-Class Strength." as soon as she spoke, the air around them all seemed to freeze as a cold and frigid blue aura seeped out of the Teacher''s body. Slowly but surely the teacher pushed back against Damon before squeezing his hands until the bones in them were broken and Damon had to let her hands go. After Damon let go of her hands, Miss Sasaki rushed behind him and hit his neck in a certain way and Damon crumpled onto the ground like a puppet without strings. POV Change - Mika TepesIf you find this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the infringement. Mika watched in horror as Damon fell to the floor. In all honesty, it didn''t look like he was alive the way he fell, more like a corpse that had been dropped by someone. Feelings of intense distress wound up inside her and burst out of her mouth. "Damon!" Mika''s concerned voice screamed, surprising everyone in the room including herself. But she wasn''t surprised for long as he body moved by its own and rushed to Damon''s side with a blood bag in hand. Miss Sasaki''s eyes widened a bit when she saw the speed Mika traveled at but after thinking about how strong Damon was, surely his Princess wouldn''t be a weakling. Mika cradled the shrinking Damon''s head on her lap, the fur receding back into his body as his muscles and bones returned to their former appearances. Mika noticed gold and red markings on Damon''s skin but ignored them as she fed him the blood she''d taken out of her bag. Damon body instinctively swallowed the blood using it to replenish itself of the energy it had lost during the fight and to try and heal the damage that frigid and cold aura had done. As if they knew this was going to happen, two nurses walked in followed by a certain blonde Doctor. "Did you really have to use your aura, Nee-san?" If Damon were awake he''d instantly know this was Natasha but he''d also be shocked that she was talking so...cutely? She spoke like a child in front of her supposed Nee-san, Miss Sasaki. "Ehhh?~ But I could help it Natasha-chan, he''s really powerful." Miss Sasaki had a face like she''d been wronged which caused Mika to look up and glare at her with a cold stare. Realizing what she was doing, the Vampire Princess lowered her head and looked at Damon feeling conflicted over the feelings she could currently feel rapidly rampaging around her body. ''Why are my instincts so weird when I''m around him...?'' While she was thinking about this, the blood bag in her hand went dry with not a drop left inside of it. She looked gently at the glutton with his head on her lap, pushing her worries about her instincts to the side. While she was doing this, Natasha had stopped talking to her older sister and walked over to Mika. "You two must get along quite well for you to hold him on your lap like that, right?~" Natasha''s teasing tone was clearly evident to everyone''s ears and it caused Mika to redden slightly but other than that, there was no reaction. Seeing the little to no reaction from Mika, Natasha rolled her eyes and spoke again. "We need to take Damon to the infirmary. You''re free to come along." Hearing this, Mika handed Damon over to the nurses who came with a stretcher. They lifted the tall boy with an ease that seemed strange because of how lithe and soft they looked. Mika followed and turned back to stop Hikari from following to which Hikari had complaints. "Who will protect you if I''m not there, Mika-sama? Damon''s out cold so I need to be extra alert now, to keep you safe!" Hikari objected in a very adamant style, not showing any sign of backing down. Mika wryly smiled as she answered. "But both I and Damon need someone to stay back and take down whatever notes we might need. Plus, I sense that that blonde Doctor knows Damon and would protect me if she needed to." Hikari was about to speak up but Mika put her hand up to silence her "No buts. This is an order." She said this before turning around and leaving an agitated Hikari sulking on her desk. Mika looked at the front of the class and saw the leftover of the fight between their teacher and Damon. Cracks spread all across the floor and up the stone wall with the blackboard on it. Claw marks from where Damon dug his feet into the ground and where he was pushed back. Most of the desks at the front had been pushed back and even had a slight layer of frost on the front of them. ''Luckily everything in this room was magically fortified, otherwise if this was a normal classroom Damon and Sensei would have completely wrecked it all...'' Mika shook her head and followed after Natasha and the two nurses carrying Damon. Before long they arrived at the infirmary. Damon was put on a bed and the two nurses put their hands on his body as they sent a white aura into his body, presumably to heal him or see if he needed any more help. Mika sat down on a chair next to Damon and looked at him with concern clear in her eyes. As if seeing this concern, Natasha put her hand on Mika''s shoulder and consoled her. "Don''t worry, I''ve known that kid for over a month and if there''s one thing he''s good at, it''s healing and staying alive." There was a slight bit of mirth in Natasha''s voice as if she was remembering something which caused Mika to look at her with curiosity. "How do you know Damon then, Sensei?" Hearing Mika''s question, Natasha told her about how she was the person who performed the surgery to awaken Damon and how she and another Teacher (Nox) had trained Damon for a month before sending him to become Mika''s bodyguard. By the end of the story, Mika felt that Damon''s power was more explainable now that she knew he''d been trained relentlessly for a month by two teachers from the Academy. Mika and Natasha continued to talk for a while before Mika started asking some questions about Damon. "What exactly did he awaken, sensei? He told me about his Ghoul-part but that transformation didn''t look very Ghoulish." Mika had been wondering about what Damon was ever since he thought Hikari let alone after he showed her such a unique transformation. Natasha looked over at Damon''s peacefully sleeping face before looking back at Mika and replying to her. "Seeing as you are his Princess, it should be fine to tell you. He''s 50% Ghoul, 50% Werewolf and 100% the perfect guard for a Vampire. It''s why your Mother had us make him for you." Natasha''s voice was quiet but Mika heard it fine and it rang in her head like a church bell causing her to look confused as she tilted her head at Natasha. "Eh? What do you mean?" Natasha smiled and went to reply but before she did, a deep voice spoke out behind her. "Yeah, Natasha, what do you mean?" Damon''s voice sounded indifferent but at the same time, it sounded both annoyed and angry. Natasha jumped up and looked like a deer in the headlights of a car when she realized Damon had heard what she said. She could only nervously laugh and scratch the back of her head but faced with Damon cold and slightly angry gaze, she knew she''d thoroughly annoyed the usually detached youth. Chapter 11 - Truth and Emotions POV Change - Damon Jaeger Damon looked at Natasha with an annoyed and inquisitive look. "You gonna answer me or not, Natasha?" Damon''s voice spoke out again but louder and harsher as he flipped his legs off of the bed and stood up. Natasha bit her lower lip a little bit as she averted her eyes from Damon''s. Damon looked down at Natasha, seeming to want to take action but not doing so because he knew Natasha could probably break him just like Miss Sasaki but his anger nearly made him forget this fact. ''They purposely did this? So they knew me before I let go...Wait...Did they organize that as well...?'' By now, Damon''s face was cold and had a sharp feel to it so Natasha spoke up. "We...We''ve been watching you for a long time, Damon and studying whether you had your families talents..." Natasha spoke in nothing but a whisper but both Mika and Damon heard her clearly with their senses. "Talents? What talents?" Damon sharply interrupted her. Natasha sighed deeply and looked into Damon''s sharp and angry eyes, grimacing slightly when she saw the lack of friendliness that was once there. "Your family, the Jaeger Family have always been talented in Fighting and Killing. They were mainly used as Elite Soldiers to thin out the opposing army''s infantry. But as we got closer and closer to modern times, we had less and less need for them so they switched to a different business..." Natasha paused for a while before she motioned at what Damon presumed was the school around them before she carried on speaking. "They became assassins and bodyguards. They made their own Clan and earn quite a bit of money doing their jobs. They''re completely Human, however. They just rely on their Gifts." Natasha slumped into a chair before continuing. "All of their Gifts revolve around fighting and we, the Supernatural or the Manifested as we refer to ourselves, have been very interested in their Gifts; we wanted to merge their Gifts with our Manifest Technology to make the perfect assassin or soldier. That''s not to say that other people in the world don''t have Gifts, just that your family has certain ones we need." Damon turned away from Natasha feeling slightly hurt that Natasha, Nox and his relations were just them pulling him into their Organization. He sat down on the bed he was just lying on, his pained expression very obvious. "Damon, we''re still friends, the Job the organization gave me doesn''t change a thing about that--!" Natasha also felt pained when she saw the expression on Damon''s face and she tried to explain herself but Damon put his hand up to tell her to stop. "The damage is already done, we''ll never go back to how we are now because you guys weren''t honest with me. I have a special kind of dislike for liars." Damon looked away and out of the window "You know, you could have just told me the truth and I would have joined anyway. But I have one pretty big question, Miss Natasha..." Damon''s voice went from cold to freezing as he looked at Natasha. Natasha felt a pang of pain in her chest as she heard how Damon had added on a ''Miss'' to how he spoke to her. She knew that their teacher-student-friend kind of relationship was over. But even more than that, his ice-like expression and the coldly scathing voice told her he was about to ask a very serious question. "Did you organize that to happen to Erika and Ayano so I would cut loose and you could then blackmail me into joining this organization? Answer this question very carefully, Miss Natasha." Damon''s icy voice had developed into a low growl of anger the longer he spoke. Natasha widened her eyes at Damon and felt another pang of pain in her heart as she thought about how lowly Damon regarded her now. "No! I would never have organized those poor girls to be hurt like that! That was pure chance and we decided to act on it and use it to make sure you joined!" Natasha nearly yelled as she spoke to Damon, desperation to prove herself evident in her voice. Damon''s eye twitched and his hand that was resting on the metal headboard for the bed suddenly clenched, rending the metal to pieces and causing Natasha and Mika to jump in fright. "So what you''re saying is, you knew it was happening to them and you didn''t stop it from happening? You let those filthy bastards do those disgusting acts of molesting my childhood friends and then you pretended to be my friend afterward?! How dare YOU!" Damon stood up and roared at Natasha, his eyes a bright yellow and filled with savage anger. Natasha paled at what he said and her head dropped and hung low in guilt and regret furthering Damon''s anger. Roaring Damon turned around and swung his leg at the metal framed bed contorting the metal and sending the bed flying across the room cracking the wall it came in contact with. At this moment, someone Damon didn''t want to see now, or ever, walked into the room. It was Nox. Nox saw Damon kick the heavy metal framed bed across the room before having a confused smile on his face before speaking. "What''s got you so riled up, buddy?" Nox''s voice was carefree but at the same time concerned and worried for Damon and what made him this angry. Hearing Nox''s voice, Damon''s head shot in his direction, his pupils contracting and pushing themselves into slits radiating immense amounts of hatred and resentment before he issued another roar and charged at him. Damon knew Nox was a Mage so he was physically weaker than Natasha and that meant Damon had a bigger chance at getting at him than he did Natasha. Well, that was if he could get close. Nox saw Damon charging at him like a frenzied beast and his eyes widened before he waved his hand sending out an aura of light. The aura of light hit Damon and leeched all the power from his body sending him to the floor. Nox looked at Damon with a lost look on his face while Natasha was pinning Damon to the floor and telling him to calm down. This story has been unlawfully obtained without the author''s consent. Damon''s roars continued to sound out for a while as he continued to thrash about and threaten both Natasha and Nox. From when he heard the first roar, Nox knew why Damon was reacting so badly and he couldn''t help but avert his eyes in shame and guilt. He knew how much it must hurt and enrage Damon to know he had lived for a month with two people who pretty much let the two most important and precious people in his world get molested. He knew this because despite Damon seeming constantly indifferent to those around him when he finally started to care about someone he showed extreme amounts of emotion and attachment. It was like he constantly switching between extreme moments of Apathy and then extreme moments of Emotion. Kind of like a see-saw going back and forth. Throughout the entire time of holding him down while he thrashed about, every sentence he said caused Natasha to cry a little more. Over the month she trained him, she''d come to see him as a younger brother and wished to constantly dote on him and tease him but now, all the things they were going to do in the future had gone up in a poof of smoke; Gone forever. After his thrashing was over, Damon''s face had lost its anger and it was just detached; no emotion. Like a doll or a dead body. Natasha slowly let go of him and stood up before offering him a hand. Damon ignored the hand and stood up before speaking while adjusting his uniform. "I understand that you did not plan the incident but the fact you let it happen is just as worse. Although I shouldn''t, I''ll trust that the other bits of information you''ve given me over the past month." His voice was monotone and emotionless, the emotional distress causing his brain to cut off the emotion until he could get to a place where he didn''t deem it a threat and then he could rest and recover his emotional faculties. "Well, if you''ll excuse me, I''m going to go home. I''ll see you later, Mika-sama. Goodbye Mr. Nox, Miss Natasha, I truly hope we never see each other again." With that said, Damon started to walk out of the room. "Damon--!" Nox walked up to Damon and put his hand on Damon''s arm to stop him from leaving. What he didn''t expect was for Damon slap his hand away before speaking. "Don''t ever think you can be friends with me again, Mr. Nox. Honestly, if I were to see you even after an eternity had passed, it''d still be much too soon for me to not feel like ripping you apart." Damon''s voice, while detached and without emotion was as sharp as a blade while his eyes bore holes into Nox''s own. "You quite frankly disgust and anger me by simply being in the same place as me, so before I throw up from anger, disgust or both, I''m going to leave." He walked toward the entrance again. But before he fully left he stopped and turned around. "Oh yeah, you can take this back." He ripped the lock and chain off of his wrist "I don''t need your stupid trinkets anymore." He threw it at Natasha and it collided with her still figure causing her to shake and cry even more. The chain and lock is a sign of sorts, a representation of their friendship, the first thing Natasha ever gave Damon and now the chain was ripped in half and in pieces, just like their friendship. Damon continued to walk, leaving a crying Natasha, a guilt-ridden Nox, and a worried Mika. Damon walked his way through the school and then into his classroom. Miss Sasaki was surprised to see him and she was going to tease him but when she saw the lack of any kind of emotion on his face, she stopped. When she looked at that emotionless face, she felt oddly...scared. Damon walked to his chair, picked up his bag and then walked out of the class amidst the class who were whispering between themselves as they looked at Damon. Miss Sasaki asked where Damon was going but he ignored her and kept walking toward the gate for the school. On the way back he felt his phone buzz telling him he''d got a text. Picking his phone out of his pocket he smiled slightly when he saw who it was. Ayano has sent you a Text! Damon hurriedly opened the text and saw what she put before smiling. Ayano: Damon, you meanie, you left while I was asleep! You''ll have to make it up to me soon! Well, whatever. How are you doing at your new school? Is everyone treating you alright? Are you eating fine? Actually, are you yourself fine? Looking at the barrage of messages Damon smiled slightly, a trickle of emotions coming back into his body. From how energetic she seemed, Damon could see his words about her still being pure had helped her get through her seemingly depressive state. He knew she was still probably said but if she needed him, she always knew she could ask. But Damon was glad she was back to being exactly like a little sister to him; cute, energetic and slightly unreasonable. Damon typed out a messaged before sending it off. Damon: Well, when I next have a break from school I''ll take you out for something to eat, how''s that sound? I''m doing fine at my new school, and everyone''s treating me fine. How''d you expect a big guy like me to get bullied, huh? I''m eating just fine, don''t worry. And me? I''m as good as I always am, I''m feeling even better with you texting me, however, so thanks for that Ayano. Damon lied about how he was feeling currently because, despite his emotions trickling in and being happy at first, it opened the floodgate for the other emotions. Especially anger, sadness, and guilt. Anger at Nox and Natasha for lying, Sadness about Nox and Natasha lying and guilt for becoming friends with people who allowed Ayano and Erika to get hurt. But Damon meant most of what he said in the text. The school was fine, everybody was treating him okay and he was eating fine even if what he was eating was technically blood and raw meat. And he was made happier by Ayano texting him. Before long, he got another text off of Ayano. Ayano: Now you''ve said you''ll take me out, you better live up to your promise! I''m glad you''re okay, I was worried sick about how you were but to know you''re happy makes me happy. And don''t be such an idiot smooth talker and attract too many girls at school, okay? Damon laughed at the end of Ayano''s text, imagining her blushing face while she reprimanded him. It reminded him of old times. They continued to talk for a while longer before Damon said he had to do something for a while and that he''d either text her later or tomorrow. After putting his phone in his room, he took his uniform off before changing into some training gear; he had to let out some of his emotions. Walking out of his room in some black and tight fitting training clothes which showed off his flawless muscles, he walked down to the training room in the basement of the house and put on some extremely heavy weighted clothes, much heavier than he usually wore. He did countless push-ups, sit-ups, squats, pull-ups and ran countless amounts of miles on the track in the massive basement. He kept working out, his healing factor giving him nigh-unlimited stamina and healing all of the damage done to his body. Sweat poured out of his body constantly especially his face but if you looked closely you''d see he wasn''t sweating on his face, he was crying. The sadness from the betrayal and lies from Nox and Natasha had caught up to him sending him into an emotional hurricane where his only solace was training. This continued for hours before Damon just passed out from fatigue. But it wasn''t physical fatigued but rather emotional and mental fatigue and strain. Chapter 12 - Information Damon slowly opened his eyes to see a white ceiling. He''d just woken up from the earlier training. Rolling over and pushing off the ground, Damon was reminded of the weighted clothes on his body and unclipped them, letting them fall onto the floor resulting in massive bangs. Free from what felt like a prison on his body, Damon moved and stretched his body feeling the unmitigated power flowing through it. His muscles felt as strong and sturdy as multiple metal ropes pressed together and stretched taut like he could easily lift a car. His bones compact and dense felt like they could hold the weight of a truck and barely even bend under the weight. His body felt amazing but he knew this was a trick feeling. He wasn''t that strong and neither was he that durable, it was just that his body and his mind were tricking each other. Damon looked across at the mirror that stretched across the entirety of the wall and looked at his face. Apart from his usual indifference, there was a trace of coldness on it as well adding an unapproachable aura to him. There were some black bags under his eyes for some reason and his skin seemed paler than usual like he was unhealthy so instead of light brown his skin looked slightly white making the black bags under his eyes stand out even more than they already did. His eyes were still their usual yellow; bright and predatory. Damon decided to go and have a shower to see if he could wash out the emotional and mental fatigue he was currently feeling along with the sweat on him. He threw his exercise top onto the floor in the training room after taking it off before walking out of the room and up the stairs. Before long he arrived at one of the many showers in the house and walked in through the door before turning around and locking it. Damon stripped his remaining clothes off before turning the shower on and putting it at a scaldingly hot temperature but when he entered he only felt a soothing feeling. He''d found this out on his first week after the surgery; his werewolf side loved the heat. His ghoul side remained indifferent so it became a thing for him to have incredibly hot showers whenever he needed to relax and right now he needed to relax. It felt like every nerve in his body was taut to its very limits and if something were to act as stimuli he''d jump at them and rip them apart. Standing under the shower head Damon closed his eyes and tried to clear his head. Tried. ''What else could I expect from a bunch of killers though, right? It was just me being naive that''s all... but Mika-sama and Hikari are the only people I can afford to be close to because they need me, right? Everyone else should be seen as an enemy...On second thought I should always be cautious around Mika-sama and Hikari...Just in case...'' Damon stopped himself from thinking any further and just concentrated on the boiling hot water hitting his skin, realizing that whatever he thought about would just lead to the same thing; Him thinking about people betraying his trust. After soaking in the water for a while, Damon washed his body with some soap and then his hair with some shampoo before getting out and drying himself off a little before walking back to his room after putting his sweaty work out clothes in the laundry basket. Back in his room, Damon dried himself off more thoroughly before putting some casual wear on. He looked over at his bag in his room and fetched out the blood he''d packed for the day before drinking it all. After the shower which relaxed his tense state, and the blood which gave him some energy, his skin returned to its original color and looked healthy once again. Weirdly enough the black bags under his eyes stayed there but he didn''t really care so he ignored them. Carrying the now empty blood bags, Damon walked downstairs to see if Mika or Hikari were home yet and to also put the blood bags in the bin. When he walked into the kitchen he saw Mika and Hikari speaking to each other with their school bags on the table near them. Damon guessed that they''d just got back home from school, so he decided to not bother them and quickly stepped toward the bin and put his trash in it before turning around and walking off. Before he could leave, however, Mika called out for him. "Damon!" Damon turned around and looked at her, seeing her smile a smile which was full of concern and worry. Damon felt a bit of gratitude at her worry but ignored it for the most part in case it was just an act. "Yes, Mika-sama?" Damon''s voice was neutral and calm as he answered Mika. Mika walked over to her bag and took out a file which was quite thick before walking over to him and handing it to him. "This is a file on everything you should want to know, take this as a favor from me. I never knew what my mother and Miss Natasha were planning, but I''ll apologize on my Mother''s behalf." Mika had an apologetic face as she slightly bowed causing Hikari''s mouth to be wide open like a fish out of water. Damon took the file from Mika''s hands and thanked her before turning around and walking toward the stairs with his destination being his room. Restless, Damon rushed up the stairs and into his room when he was out of sight from both Mika and Hikari not wanting either of them to know how much this meant to him. Closing his door and sitting on his bed, Damon opened up the file. Everything in it was about either how compatible he was to the Werewolf and Ghoul Manifests, how well-suited his Gift was for fighting and about the surveillance team that watched over him and their mission. Damon focused on the last part mostly, wanting to know the names of who let those things happen to Erika and Ayano. Unluckily for Damon, their names had been blacked out which caused Damon to growl in annoyance. But he did know their mission now. The team were originally going to follow Damon and the other club members to the competition they were supposed to go to on that day and then because Damon would win with ease, they''d recruit him for his fighting talent and get him into the organization because they already knew he had a Gift for Fighting in the form of his Hyper-Instincts by this time and also how he had an urge to kill because of the unconscious killing intent he gave off which most people couldn''t feel but the people running surveillance on him could. The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation. Damon felt the people in the mission weren''t necessarily at fault after seeing their mission. They were originally going to recruit him without the blackmail and through a rather peaceful way. Thinking about this was in no way Damon forgiving Nox and Natasha for their lies. They both should have told him the truth and explained it to him on day 1 because if they had done so, they wouldn''t have gone beyond the point of repair for their friendships and nothing will change that fact. It would''ve been so much more simple if they''d just told the truth. Damon shook his head with sadness evident on his face. He flipped a few pages back and looked at the things about his compatibility. Another lie that Natasha had told him was that it was random what people Manifested as. The truth was that people could only Manifest as things they had compatibility with, when Damon looked back on it he realized he''d just blindly trusted Natasha because Mika was an example that it wasn''t random and so were her sisters. How could there be a Royal Vampire Family if what you manifested was random? Because their children were born as Humans and had to go through the surgery as well, so if it was random, what''s to stop a child of the Vampire King or Queen from Manifesting as a Demon or a Zombie? The answer? Nothing. But they don''t need to worry about that because people have certain compatibilities to certain things they could Manifest. It was all put down in this little file on how Damon''s compatibility was nearly 100% for both Werewolf and Ghoul so they picked him to become the perfect bodyguard for Mika. Him being from the Jaeger family and having such a good Gift were only add-ons. To make sure he became a Hybrid they''d secretly been putting a chemical in the water supply to his house which changed the way his compatibility worked, merging Werewolf and Ghoul into the same thing. The chemical was harmless, all it did was merge Manifests together, so his parents would be fine. They''d done this before so they knew it worked and when the time came, Damon had come into enough contact with the chemical water to awaken as a Hybrid between a Werewolf and a Ghoul. Damon put the file down on his bed and lay back with his head sinking into the soft blanket. ''I feel like a lab rat...I can''t really bring myself to care beyond that though, it''s given me a chance to get powerful...One I''m not gonna waste.'' Damon looked at the time and saw that it was around 4 pm and knowing he had some time to burn before he should sleep he walked over to his shelf and picked up a few books before lying on his bed and reading them. He kept reading until it was an appropriate time to sleep before putting his book down and then sleeping. When he woke up the next day, he looked outside at the slowly rising sun feeling empowered by the warmth it gave. Damon peacefully watched the sunrise for a while before his alarm clock went off next to him. Instinctively Damon hit the alarm clock because he didn''t realize what it was and he overreacted. Looking at the broken alarm clock, Damon shook his head at how much of an idiot he was and got out of bed. Putting his uniform on, Damon walked to the bathroom and washed his face and brushed his teeth before walking downstairs for breakfast. His breakfast consisted of about 10kg of raw meat and 2 blood bags; It was delicious. After that, Damon made sure to put everything he needed into his school bag before sitting in the living room and reading a book about Aura. He''d overheard Hikari and Mika talking about how their lesson today was to do with Aura and Magic so he thought he''d refresh himself on what he knew about Aura. Mika, not wanting a repeat of yesterday morning, got up on her own and got ready for school on time. As she walked downstairs and toward the kitchen she walked past Damon, glancing at him every now and then but seeing Damon reading she decided to not bother him. Her and Hikari had their breakfast together before signaling to Damon that they were ready to go. As they were walking to school, Damon continued to read while using his extremely enhanced senses to guide himself, while also looking out for any dangers toward Mika. They got to school without a hitch and walked through the gates. Damon received multiple stares as they walked into the building. ''Hmm, seems news of my fight with Miss Sasaki has spread...'' Damon absentmindedly thought as someone put their hand on his shoulder. Turning around, Damon saw a light grey skinned, red-eyed and red-haired girl standing behind him with a competitive look on her face. Before he could even speak, the girl spoke in a boisterous voice. "You''re the guy who fought a teacher right?!" She posed him a question but carried on before he could answer "My names Kaori Lucifer, I''m the leader of the Demon Faction for the first years and the only Princess of the Royal Demon Family" Pride surged from the redheads body as she carried on "And I want someone of your strength to join me!" her eyes shone with fighting intent as she looked at Mika who she knew was Damon''s master. Mika walked up and stood between Damon and Kaori. "He''s part of the Undead Faction, so stay away from him, Demonic Filth." Mika was slightly taller than Kaori so she looked down at the fiery Demon and spoke with both anger and disdain evident in her voice. Kaori seemed infinitely angered by what Mika had said, when she went to step forward to hit Mika, Damon spoke up. "Please don''t mind Mika-sama, she''s just a bit worn out at the minute, Kaori-sama. I enjoy being in the Undead Faction, but if something changes that I''ll contact Kaori-sama as soon as possible to join your Faction, okay?" Damon''s calm and deep voice seemed to have the effect of calming both the princesses, Kaori even seemed to have a weird look in her eyes as she looked at Damon, while Mika looked embarrassed that she''d lost her cool in front of Damon. "Hmph! Be grateful that you have such a pleasing retainer, Vampire Princess, otherwise, I''d have put your face into the ground by now!" She scowled at Mika before turning to Damon and smiling "Be sure to get in contact with me if the chance arises, Werewolf-kun~" And after that, she left, making sure to sashay her wide hips and perfect ass to try and entice Damon. Unluckily for her, he wasn''t looking as he, Mika and Hikari had already started walking away. "Mika-sama, what was that about? Why was she so aggressive on wanting me?" Damon curiously asked Mika as he continued to read. "Well, power is an attractive thing for Demons, so that''s why the Demon Princess came first and the faction leaders can never fight each other, they can only fight with retainers. You and Hikari are my retainers, so if I ever come into a fight with another Faction, you two will be my fighters." Mika spoke with a calm voice as they continued to walk. She carried on after a while. "So powerful retainers who can fight a teacher and even though they lost and were put in the infirmary, they healed all the damage back to normal and returned to school like nothing happened the next day, that caliber of a retainer is sought after by all the Factions of our year." Damon looked up from his book. "Our year? Aren''t the factions spanning across all the years in the school?" "Well, technically, yes. But we''re not linked with those factions and they''ll even try and suppress us as well if we overstep our lines but they usually ignore the First Year Factions so they can settle in...It''s just...My sisters will probably still mess with us." Mika had an agitated expression on her face when she spoke about her sisters Damon thought it made sense. Each year had a representative for each faction, usually from royalty, and they would make a faction to suppress the other younger generation. Even factions of the same origin would still fight against each other because of the fight for that factions Throne to become the King or Queen. As Damon was thinking about this, they made it to the classroom and entered. Chapter 13 - Aura Image Damon entered the class first, eliciting surprised gasps from most of the people in the classroom who thought he wouldn''t be in school for a while after the beating he received from Miss Sasaki. Miss Sasaki looked at Damon, remembering his emotionless face from yesterday and why he was like that, she left out her teasing for now. Mika and Hikari followed behind Damon as they sat on the same seats as yesterday. The room was silent for a while, the only noise being the occasional flip of a page from Miss Sasaki''s desk. Damon continued to read the book about Aura as the rest of the class resumed talking, getting over the shock of Damon being able to walk. Mika and Hikari were speaking between themselves, Damon controlling his sense of hearing so he didn''t eavesdrop on them as the conversation seemed mildly important. After a while of reading, Miss Sasaki finally stood up. "Okay, attention all of you!" Everyone in the class snapped their heads forward, fearing what would happen if they didn''t. Only Damon was nonchalant about his actions, slowly putting down his book and slowly and calmly looking to the front of the class. "Alright then, today we''re gonna be doing a split lesson. As in, part of the class will be learning something while the other part will be learning something else. These two different subjects are Aura and Mana." Miss Sasaki picked up a few books and stepped to the center of the front part of the classroom. "I''m going to pull in an assistant to teach the Magic side of the class, so welcome Mr. Nox." Miss Sasaki motioned her hand toward the door of the classroom. Damon''s body stiffened as he heard the name and saw the black-haired man walk into the room. Nox looked over to Damon with complex emotions in his eyes which were only further fueled when he saw that Damon was averting his gaze from his own. Miss Sasaki stepped forward a little bit and spoke up again. "Now, all of you listen up. If you''re going to learn Aura, stand up and go to the left of the classroom and if you''re going to learn Mana and Magic, go to the right of the classroom." Miss Sasaki spoke out as she went and stood on the left side while Nox stood on the right side. Damon stood up and walked to the left side hurriedly. Both excited for practical Aura lessons and wanting to get away from Nox as soon as possible before he did something stupid. So Damon saw Miss Sasaki as a lesser problem compared to his annoyance with Nox. Damon stood straight as an iron pillar as he stood in front of Miss Sasaki, waiting to learn about Aura. People lined up behind him, mainly the taller girls in the class who seemed quite toned. Mika was the only exception as despite her tall height at 6''1" she walked over to the Magic/Mana line with Hikari and the other relatively shorter girls. Miss Sasaki, seeing that everyone was in their preferred line, looked toward the Aura line while Nox looked at his own line. "Okay then, we''re going to go to the Aura Concentration Room, I''ll answer any basic question on the way if you guys have any." Miss Sasaki said this before motioning for them to follow her, which they all did. Damon nodded his head toward Mika and Hikari who seemed worried about how he would be with Miss Sasaki after yesterday. Damon, who could see their worry wryly smiled as he knew he had nothing to worry about. When he thought back on what she said yesterday, with his current indifference not making his insight biased or anything, he knew that Miss Sasaki was just acting the villain. She had no intent to actually hurt Ayano or Erika, she just said it to get him riled up. Which it did. Damon walked behind Miss Sasaki and thought about something to ask her. "Sensei, why have we split the class up? Couldn''t we do all this in one lesson?" Damon''s calm voice seemed to surprise Miss Sasaki as she turned her head around and looked at Damon. After looking at him for a while, she answered his question. "Well, I guess I could have but I personally didn''t want to mix Mana and Aura classes together. I want you guys to only know the information on your specific Energy because knowing about the other one would only clog up your head with useless information and might confuse you into making a mistake when you wield Aura or Mana for the first time." She calmly spoke and Damon got an insight on her; She seemed to actually care about being a teacher. Damon found this person in front of him, someone who seemed to care about her students, completely different to the woman yesterday who completely crushed him without mercy while acting as a villain of some kind. He shrugged his shoulder and resolved himself to be calmer in the future and to look at things with a clearer eye instead of going berserk at the slightest spark. They all walked for a while longer, some of the girls behind Damon talking between themselves. Apart from one of the girls, the one right behind Damon who kept staring at him with curiosity. Damon remembered what she looked like from when he looked at who was walking over to the left side of the classroom. She had green hair and green eyes, both of which seemed to glow and give off little bits of light. Her skin was a healthy tan color which seemed to spew vitality into the air. Apart from her hair and eye color, she seemed quite normal to Damon''s eyes but that was only until he saw the undulating green cracks spread throughout the girl''s skin, like cracks on a tree''s bark. Damon was trying to ignore her staring at the minute because he was reviewing the information he had on Aura. But he kept feeling that intense stare on his back and it kept distracting him and before he knew it, they arrived at a room with cushions on the floor. Damon walked inside, the dim room not being a problem for his enhanced senses. Something he found out was that not everyone had enhanced senses like him, even Mika and Hikari who were Vampires didn''t have senses like him for some reason. When reviewing information he''d learned about Werewolves from Mika''s library it seemed that any animal-related Manifest would have some kind of enhanced sense which seemed understandable to Damon. This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it. Inside the room, everyone found a seat. Damon sat at the back to avoid his height and width getting in the way of the others in the room. The green-haired girl sat next to him, her green glow is even more noticeable in the dimly lit room. Miss Sasaki seemed to fumble around with papers and setting up her lesson, so everyone started lightly talking while they waited. Damon closed his eyes trying to calm himself down like how every book he''d read on Aura said was needed to be in the right state to learn about it. But like you''d expect, the glowing eyes looking at him didn''t help him much when he could feel and see their stare even with his eyes closed. Damon let out a sigh and opened his eyes while looking at the girl next to him. "What do you want?" Damon tried to sound as calm as he could but he constant staring was grinding on him and his already slightly unstable emotions from yesterday. The girl seemed unperturbed by his question and just looked at him with more fervor. Damon''s yellow eyes met her green ones, he stared into her eyes for a little bit before she spoke to him. "I sense that you have an animalistic side to you and I saw it very clearly yesterday, you would fit in extremely well with the Nature Faction, your power is needed there." The girl''s voice was calm but vigorous, soft but strong while also sounding ageless. All this kind of threw Damon off but when he realized what she was asking, he looked away from her and simply spoke. "I do not wish to join your faction, I''m already in one." Damon''s voice was polite and calm but also firm showing he wouldn''t be moved from his own decisions. The green-haired girl was about to continue persuading Damon but Miss Sasaki herself started speaking and quite frankly, the green-haired girl didn''t have the confidence to speak over her. "Okay, so let''s get onto the basics of what Aura is. Any of you know?" Miss Sasaki looked around the seated class curiously and when she saw no one was willing to answers, rather they were waiting for her to carry on. "Okay then, let''s start with that." Miss Sasaki paused before continuing again, presumably giving a chance to a student to explain but alas no one did, so she continued "Aura is the life force in every being, everyone has it, even normal humans have Aura. Aura is made by the body, so a stronger body means a stronger Aura." "Aura is stored in the Heart and that''s how you start on your Journey as an Aura Practitioner; You draw all of your Aura into your heart and make an Image with it. This Image will dictate your Aura''s properties, for example, if you were to make an Image of a Mountain your Aura would grow sturdy, firm and near immovable by people other than yourself but along with these Advantages there are disadvantages." Miss Sasaki left what she said to settle in before continuing again. "The disadvantage with the mountain would be the pure lack of flexibility your Aura would have, it would be too hard to perform precise and subtle actions with this kind of aura that the user would have to constantly use brute force to win and that can work until you find someone with more brute force. So, after I show you how to draw your Aura into your heart and then make the Image, try to think about what you want and don''t pick something stupid, you could hurt yourself." Seeing the slightly paling faces, Miss Sasaki smirked before consoling her students "But don''t worry, you can always dispel your Image whenever you want if you feel like it''s going to backfire on you but I would advise against doing that because you won''t be able to try to gather your Aura for an Image again for another few days and that''ll put you behind everyone else in the class who made an Image." Damon sat there, soaking up the information. Despite having read many books about Aura, none of them mentioned any of these things but he guessed there was a suppression on information about Aura so they did the next best thing; they hinted at the real knowledge in the books. Damon had many questions after reading the books but after listening to Miss Sasaki for a short while, most of those questions were easily answered when put with the information he already knew and the stuff from Miss Sasaki. Kinda like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Miss Sasaki continued speaking. "Alright then, everyone close your eyes." Damon and the rest did as they were told and then waited for further instructions "Now, I''m going to let some gas flow into the room and I need you all to take big breaths of it, it''s gas that''ll help you sense the Aura in your body." Damon heard a low hiss and instantly smelt the gas. It smelt like a mixture of cotton candy and burning wood; a confusing mix of smells to say the least. But following Miss Sasaki''s instructions, as soon as it was near him he took in massive gulps of the stuff. As soon as it entered his lungs Damon instantly felt dizzy and could instantly feel a warm current flowing around his body in a random pattern. He instinctively recognized this as Aura. ''I guess having Immense Potential in Aura for both of my Races is a bit cheat-like.'' Damon then started reaching out with his mind to the strips of Aura flowing around his body. Weirdly so, despite not being able to see the Energy he knew the color of some strips was Yellow while others were Red, it was quite fascinating to Damon. Once he grabbed the Aura he guided it to his heart where it obediently stayed, merging with other strips to form a ball, then other balls merged together to make bigger and bigger balls. After a while, Damon gathered every little bit of Aura in his body, shutting himself off from the outside world he felt his instincts guiding him in the right directions and even then he had a faint idea of how to make an Image. Damon started to ponder on what he wanted his Image to be, what represented him and his power. ''River? No, I never did like Water. Mountain? Brute Force would be nice but I like flexibility as well--!'' As he was thinking, a thought struck Damon''s head. ''Fire. I love heat, I love warmth. So, out of everything there is, wouldn''t Fire be my go-to Image?'' Damon thought for a while longer before he mentally nodded his head and started molding his Aura into an Image. His Aura''s heat suddenly spiked up as it started to shift back and forth like a flame, the Aura separating into two different parts. The Red Aura becoming the red inner part of the flame, while the Yellow Aura became the yellow outer part of the flame. It shaped slowly moved from a small flame flickering in the wind into a massive inferno of red on the inside and yellow on the outside, sporting deadly pillars of flame every now and then. ''Is this the limit? There''s gotta be a stronger flame I can make, right?--Wait.'' Damon started to bring all of his Fire-like Aura together and pushed it into itself, trying to create a massive ball of fire and flames. Like a very rudimentary Sun. The Damon''s idea seemed to be taken in by the Aura Image as a mysterious force dragged the flames together. The two different Aura colors collided with each other, seeming to fuse under the immense pressure the Image was putting on itself. The temperatures started to rise and rise, even making Damon with his superb resistance to heat feel a bit stuffy. Finally, the pieces of Aura fused in a massive bang of energy which went throughout Damon''s body, flushing it of its impurities and cleaning it all. As if to follow the example of the first drops of Aura to fuse, every single bit of aura collided with another piece of Aura that was a different color resulting in a massive release of heat and energy each time. These waves of heat and energy traveled throughout his body destroying impurities and strengthening his body at the same time. After the two different Aura''s had fused all their little bits and pieces together, Damon started to mold it into a Sun-like shape. He took the more red pieces of Aura and clumped them together into a core, a thick viscous looking thing that radiated heat and pressure. Then he piled on the rest of the Aura around the core which just stuck in place because of the pseudo-gravity the core was producing in the Image. More and more reactions of fusion and collision were taking place, sending waves of heat and energy that constantly tempered his body. The blood that passed through his heart was purged of its impurities by the heat of the pseudo-sun, while it''s ''gravity'' seemed to strengthen the blood by making it slightly denser and purer each time it passed through his heart. Damon knew none of this made a bit of sense, but it was his Image and it would work how he wanted it to. Damon slowly opened his eyes and saw the rest of the class with their eyes closed. While looking about a bit, Damon noticed Miss Sasaki looking at him with curiosity before motioning him to come over to her by curling her finger at him. Sighing, Damon got up and walked over to her. Chapter 14 - Dangers of the Sun Arriving in front of Miss Sasaki, Damon noticed something weird; he could see her recoil when he got near like he was an open fire or something. Tilting his head in curiosity, Damon looked at Miss Sasaki with an expression that asked her to explain. And explain she did. "Your Aura is particularly uncomfortable for someone who has an Ice-related race as my Manifest. Please try and keep the Aura in your body, I feel like someone''s pointing a flamethrower at me..." hearing the uneasiness in Miss Sasaki''s voice, Damon couldn''t help but grin letting his indifferent mask slip just this once. Seeing his grin, Miss Sasaki squinted her eyes before throwing a bit of her Aura at him. Caught off guard by the sudden ''attack'', Damon couldn''t dodge and was hit by the Aura. To his fortune and Miss Sasaki''s distress, he oddly didn''t seem affected by her Aura. Miss Sasaki''s eye twitched a little before she sighed. "So, Sensei, why''d you want me to come over?" Damon asked in a calm voice, feeling more comfortable around Miss Sasaki for some reason. ''That''s...weird.'' Damon thought process was interrupted by Miss Sasaki answering him. "Well, I want to know what you used as your image because your Aura''s heat is truly something else and trust me when I say this, I''ve had a lot of experience dealing with Fire-Related Aura users and despite not having their intensity and power, the purity of your flame is...unsettling..." Miss Sasaki shuddered for a moment before continuing "So what is your image?" Damon thought about whether he should tell her, thinking that he might want to keep it under wraps that he created a Sun as his Image but soon cast away that idea because that''s exactly why he''d need to tell her. What if something happened with the Sun and it injured him? It''d be too late to cry over the spilled milk when he was dead from a Sun made of Aura exploding in his chest. So he decided to tell her. "I made a Sun." Damon''s calm voice spread throughout the room, shocking a few people who''d just woken from making their Images. Miss Sasaki looked at Damon like he was an idiot. "You made a Sun? The kind of Sun that will eventually turn Supernova and blow up in your chest before becoming a Blackhole?" She searched over Damon''s face for answers before carrying on "The kind of sun that puts out unimaginable amounts of heat while also affecting all of its surroundings with its massive gravity? That. Kind. Of. Sun?" Damon looked surprisingly at Miss Sasaki. Surprised she''d be so angry over him making a sun. ''Maybe making a Sun and telling her wasn''t the best idea...? Oh well, the ships sailed now...'' He looked at his visibly pissed teacher and couldn''t quite understand why she was so angry, so he decided to ask her. "Yeah, that kind of sun. But what''s the big deal? It''s only an Aura Image, right?" Damon asked in a confused voice while raising one of his eyebrows. Miss Sasaki put her hands in her palms and let out a majorly muffled yell and sigh at the same time before lifting her head out her hands and looking into Damon''s lost yellow eyes. "I''m an idiot..." She said in a self-deprecating way but she stopped herself before glaring at Damon "No, actually, I''m not. I just didn''t expect an over-achiever to be in my class otherwise I''d have explained it..." "Explained what?" Damon was getting annoyed now and was wishing she''d get to the point, his earlier feelings of being comfortable torn in two. "That Aura Images evolve." She left what she said to sink in and by Damon''s blank face, it settled in quite quickly. "Hills become mountains, Mountains become even bigger mountains, the bigger Mountains might even become Volcanoes...It''s called Aura Evolution, it was going to be in the next couple of lessons." Miss Sasaki slumped into her chair before speaking again "Well, no harm done I guess, you can always cancel your Image if it gets too dangerous for you and your body never truly lets an Image that isn''t compatible with it form inside it."Find this and other great novels on the author''s preferred platform. Damon still had a blank look on his face before he finally spoke up again "So, you mean to say that my Sun''s gonna become a--?" the last part of his sentence was caught on his tongue, not wanting to say what he kind of dreaded. "A black hole? Yeah, I mean it definitely could if that''s the kind of star you made, we won''t know until your first Aura Evolution. Just don''t worry, I''m sure you and all your Hybrid Power can handle it." Damon let out a sigh of relief when he saw that Miss Sasaki wasn''t too worried about it and because his confidence in himself wasn''t going to be shook just yet. Miss Sasaki shooed him off as she went back to looking at her papers and books. Turning around, Damon went and sat back in his original place, next to his would-be stalker. The green-eyed girl seemed to be done with her Image as well. Unlike Damon who unknowingly unleashed an aura of intensity and domineering suppression, the girl let out a calm and vigorous aura full of life. Her green eyes seemed even brighter than before, only serving to further annoy Damon. "I heard what you made for your Image. Quite unusual for someone from the undead faction to made a Sun as their Image, most undead hate the sun. Not like the Nature faction, we love the sun--" she wanted to continue speaking but Damon put his hand up to tell her to stop. She wouldn''t have usually stopped and would have instead carried on even further but with his bestial glare backing up his hand, she found herself frozen in what she felt was...fear. "I don''t want to join your faction, I''m quite sure I''ve said this before. So please, stop staring at me." Damon spat these words out before looking away, ignoring her existence and closing his eyes. Looking inside himself at his Image, Damon saw it continuing to send out waves of energy and heat tempering his body. He felt a weird pull on his body from the sun in his heart, like gravity was affecting more than just the blood that went through his heart now. Moving his arm to test a theory, Damon did indeed find it a bit harder to move his arm and worst of all he felt this pseudo-gravity increasing. It wasn''t too bad at the minute but as it kept increasing, Damon knew that his body would be continuously struggling to work if he didn''t work it out. Reaching out mentally and grabbing this pressure on his body he started to drag it back to his heart and to the sun. But as he brought it back to his heart, he realized he''d made a massive ball of gravity inside his heart. The pressure on his heart and blood were incredibly immense and before anything bad happened, Damon released his hold on the force and let it spread throughout his body again. Cold sweat went down Damon''s back when he thought about how his heart felt like it was about to collapse. He could only hope he could handle the pressure but he had hope that his healing factor could keep him alive long enough for him to collapse his Image if something happened. Damon was brought out of his mind by Miss Sasaki''s voice, opening his eyes he heard her explaining to the others about Aura Evolution so he tuned in as well. "...it happens when your Aura Image exceeds its limits. Take my Image, for example, I''ll leave all the details out because I don''t want to reveal my full Image but imagine I made a Blizzard, a massive storm of snow, ice and the cold." She lifted up her hand and summoned a contained Blizzard onto it, sending a cold wind around the classroom "Now, Aura Images don''t get bigger they just repeat, so my Blizzard became two Blizzards and then three and so on and so forth." She summoned a few more blizzards around the original one, with each Blizzard the overall strength of the cold got stronger. "Each time they were my Blizzards got stronger and my Aura capacity increased drastically. That''s how it''ll be for all of you as well before finally, you get 10 of your Image where it''ll combine and move onto the next stage of its Evolution." Ten Blizzards appeared and then combined into a Blizzard the same size but much denser and purer that released a cold leagues above even the combined effort of the ten Blizzards from before. Damon looked at it with curiosity, wondering how strong his Sun would be after it''s first evolution and whether he could handle it or not. "But." Miss Sasaki sharply said, knocking people out of their stupors at the strong Image "You''ve gotta make sure you can handle your own Image. If the Mountains too big and heavy for your body to handle, it''ll crush your heart. If the River''s force is too much for your body to handle, your body will get ripped up like a piece of wet paper in a blender..." Miss Sasaki purposely looked at Damon before speaking again. "...And if the fire''s too hot and your body''s not strong enough, you''ll get burnt to a crisp." Damon squinted his eyes as he thought for the barest of the second that he heard-- ''Concern and Worry? About me? From the Woman who slapped me about a room and smiled while doing so? Even if she takes pride in being a Teacher and cares for her Students, the care in her eyes is a bit...extreme.'' Damon felt his body shudder for a little bit before Miss Sasaki looked away from him and toward the rest of the class. "So you need to make sure your body is constantly breaking its limits, constantly getting stronger and constantly getting better." Her face was grim but as soon as it came it was gone, replaced by a blinding smile which dazzled the students, despite them being girls "So that''s why we''re going to the Gym room now to see how your Aura affects your bodies!" Miss Sasaki had perked up considerably after saying that her Students could be in danger from their own Image and seemed more like her usual happy-go-lucky attitude. Damon and the others got up from their seats on the ground at this and followed their eccentric sensei.
