I was starting to think that I was really this weak! I quickly hid my stats and made sure nobody looked at me. I just stood there in the crowd to keep any attention from coming towards me. What if I was really as weak as my stats showed? What if I have to actually survive in this world like this? No! Let''s not think like that and hope for the best! I''m going to be at the top. I have always been and it''s going to stay like that! Chapter 2 - Realization [OLD] Three weeks has passed since we were summoned into this world. I was wrong. All of my skills were still the same these past three weeks. Nothing magical happened to my skills and I did not have the Divine Protection that everyone else had.OsamuAdachi in the three weeks had grown too much. His new skill was amazing and he got it just by training? Other than that my three weeks in this world has been horrible. On the second week, everyone stopped getting surprised by the gain in power thatOsamu had gotten lately. They wanted to see how I was. I tried to hide it from everyone who wanted to see my stats but when multiple people came and even a knight I had to reveal my skills. After one week my status stayed exactly the same and there was no change present than the first week. So as I showed everyone my stats they all started bursting in laughter. I had the lowest in the class.Hirokichi Sakai who had one of the highest stats said, "Bro I thought you would have the highest stats but you have the worst in fact! Why are you even here! The first monster we see would kill you!" After his nice little "point" there I was pissed and embarrassed at the same time. I ran away before they could make fun of me anymore and cursed the God that sent us to this horrible world.Why did I have the lowest stats? What did I do wrong to get this kind of treatment? The others are not smart like me not cool like me in fact, the wanted to be me! So why? It was all basically the same! Yea, I grew a bit but nothing was good!Maybe I''m not fit for being a warrior?Whatever. We are going to the dungeon today and I need to get myself ready. I packed everything and was ready. I went over to the gate of the castle and waited. As I reached the gate I could seeHirokichi andOsamu laughing about something. I stood there and waited for over an hour before Osamu came over to me and bumped into me by "accident." He went back to Hirokichi and laughed then Hirokichi came over to me and did the same thing but this time I was ready and moved away. His face made a sound as it crashed to the floor. I burst out laughing. The angered Hirokichi got up and started punching me and swearing, "You fucking bitch!" Osamu had to stop him himself because his words did not reach the mad Hirokishi. I was on the floor and my HP agreed with the pain I was feeling right now. It was at 2/26. I had to get a healing potion from Vincent the guard who helped us train. My health instantly went back up to 26/26 after I used the potion. I was still allowed to go even though Hirokichi was still ready to kill me at any time.Its amazing how friends can turn on you anytime without you even noticing it. Osamu is now the star and I am the trash. It really is stupid. We arrived at the dungeon two hours later and it was very dark. We had to carry torches to see inside of the dungeon. Only four people had to carry torches and I was one of them of course. The way dungeons are played out is very different than how I had thought. There are 100 floors in each dungeon but every floor has different areas. There is always D-A classes of monsters and in the stronger dungeons, there may be an S or SS class area in the higher up floors. Some of those floors were optional. But the boss room at floor 100 was always A-SSS rank. We did not have to worry about that because we would only be in the D and C area of this weak dungeon. As we reached area D we first encountered a slime. Osamu was first to go after the slime that was only Lv.1. He attacked it with his sword and it was cut clean in half. The slime had died and that was it. I had expected it to turn into a drop because they had told us most monsters would turn into a drop after they died. Vincent had told us that weak monsters such as slimes did not have a drop so they disappear slowly over time. The dungeon was relatively easy until when we were coming back from area C we were leaving a group of monsters after Osamu was tired and wanted to leave. When still in Area C Hirokichi looked to make sure nobody was around and took me and I was pushed on the group in Area C. I was in the back because I was let off of my torch duties. I got up and got ready to fight back. His laugh was disgusting. He looked from up at me and ran towards me. I couldn''t dodge in time and was pushed backwards so for and half of my health was lost. I was at 13/26 now and Hirokichi was most likely still at full HP. I knew I couldn''t win. One attack of his was enough to send me flying and take away half of my health. I just had to apologise to him now. "Hirokichi please why are you doing this to me? You were coming at me and trying to bump into me on purpose it''s not my fault! Please just leave me alone." He smirked and replied, "You think this is about that? Do you really think that I''m still mad about falling? It didn''t even hurt. I''m doing this because you''re weak! You have no reason to be following the real heroes. Just stay here and die." He was gone in a flash and again and the next time I saw him he was in front of me. He punched me two times before I fell. Chapter 3 - My Skills [OLD] When I woke up I was confused.What am I doing here? Where is everyone else? Did someone do this to me? Oh yeah, it was Hirokichi that fucker!I was angered and punched the wall only to lose 2 HP. I needed to calm down. I looked around me and it was very dark. I was in something that resembled a nest. It was made of a material that I had never seen before. I looked around for an exit but I found nothing and remembered that I was in Area C of the first floor in the dungeon. I took out my Location Card and checked my location. The location card is the card we all got to tell us our location in the dungeon and what floor we were on. Location: Area A Floor: 46th Floor Wah? How? How did I get here Hirokichi is not strong enough to get me to the 46th floor and Area A of the dungeon by himself. He wouldn''t even have enough time to do that.While I was pondering on how I got here my answer came. A giant bird-like creature with scales all over its body arrived in the nest. I was so scared that I could not move. The giant bird approached.Move let''s MOVE! I need to get out of here before I die!I could not move. As the bird got closer to me I began to cry. When I tried to get a good look at it I realised it was an egg.Wait if this is an egg then I can make it into my pet right? Maybe it''s a dragon egg! I can grow it into the strongest dragon ever! My brain had gone wild with fantasies of having a dragon as my pet. I wanted to keep track of this nest so I can be here when the egg hatches so it recognises me as its parent! I made a fire with the matches and torch I had and left it in the nest. I left the nest with another fire and tried to search around the nest but I saw a monster that was tall and had long hair. I wanted to know if I could fight it or not so I Inspected it. I stayed there crying for a very long time and when I finished I realized,there is nobody here to help me. I got betrayed because I am weak. Nobody came back for me. Is it because I''m useless?I got up and left the nest. I walked around realizing that I was useless to everyone since coming to this world. I need to survive with my own power and do what I can.Fuck them all. While walking I found something that looked like a worm. I Inspected it before walking up to it. Cannot Inspect dead creatures. It''s dead? I walked up to it and picked it up. It was heavy but was enough for me to carry. I walked back to the nest and when I arrived I received a Popup that startled me. I have been training for three weeks now and my stats have not increased. Why now?No, not now. My stats increased but its obviously not enough for me to do any more than I am doing right now. Once I figure out why it increased now maybe I can do it again. I dropped the worm in the nest and thought about what to do next. I had no food and I brought the worm to eat it but...should I really be eating a giant worm. My stomach rumbled indicating that I needed to eat now. I took a bite out of the worm and it was disgusting. I kept on eating because I needed to if I wanted to survive. When I was finished I almost threw up.But, it''s still food. After eating I thought about the¡¸Growth¡¹skill.How is it activated? Okay, in the three weeks we trained in the training rooms with dummies to hit with our desired weapon.Because we were in a group there was not really any checking up on anyone and how well they were doing. I was trying my hardest to hide my stats from everyone. I trained but not to the point where I was dying of sweat. But when I carried the worm I wasn''t out of breath either. But if I think about what situation I was in then it all makes sense. I''m in a dungeon trying to survive and I needed food at the time I went to look for some. While training in the camp I was not fighting for anything. I just wanted to get it done.Could it be that when¡¸Growth¡¹and¡¸Learning¡¹ are survival based skills?Do I need to have the intent to survive? I think I''m close. I at least have a chance to survive and I am going to take that chance. Chapter 4 - Dungeon Fight & Friend [OLD] It''s been three weeks since I realised that I was on my own. I tried my hardest to survive and my stats increased a ton. It''s still not enough to fight off the goblin but, I''ll be able to beat it soon. I''ve spent this time going out and doing the usual. I found l more worms and took them back to the nest and ate them there. The worms were not as heavy as they were before because I was getting strong so I started doing more exercises and looked for a weak monster to kill. I also gained two new skills one that I''ve been thinking about for the past 3 weeks. I even levelled up twice! Night Vision Lv.1 was the first and the other one was confusing.¡¸Determination Lv.1¡¹ The skill¡¸Determination Lv.1¡¹gives the user a 2% stat boost as long as they have the determination to do something. This skill levels up based on the progress to your goal. So I get a stat boost when I''m determined? But why did I get this skill? Let me check my stats.

Perfect!This was a monster I could take on! It would be the perfect opponent for me. I also had the upper hand because I could surprise it. I looked around for a weapon and realised I never had a weapon.I should make one later.I need to focus on a way to kill this Orc. I walked around and thought of the perfect plan. There was a small hole near the nest that I could lure the Orc in if it followed me. But I need to lower its health first so that it can''t run away. I threw a small stone at the orc and it didn''t hurt him at all. The Orc just got up and looked my way and ran towards me. It was very slow. I had to run at a slow pace before it could catch up to me. I avoided the hole and the Orc fell in. It tried to climb out but I punched it back down.Oww! Is its skin really made of stone? I looked down at the monster and it was very scared. The reason it was scared was because I had a torch. It knew the fire was dangerous but it most likely did not know what I was going to do with it. I was going to suffocate him. The fire would not be enough to kill the orc so I''m going to cover the hole up with a big rock that I found so that the orc runs out of oxygen. I threw the torch in and got the rock and covered the hole. I waited about a minute and opened back up the hole. You could be reading stolen content. Head to the original site for the genuine story. The orc was still alive but its HP was now 5/60.Wow, this method is very effective against these small orcs.I looked for anything to kill the orc and there was nothing. I decided I needed to kill it with my own hands. I stayed at the stop and reached down the hole and punched the orc and it lost 1 health. I did it four more times before the orc died. When I killed the orc I got a notification.

This orc seemed strange. It could understand human language and act like a human?What does Mapping do?I wanted to approach the orc but I didn¡¯t know. The orc stopped biting the egg and looked my way.Eh? Is it looking at me? How I''m hidden behind a wall!I stopped and waited then the orc got up and walked towards me. I stepped back and tripped on a rock as I fell to the ground. I was scared.No, not again! I need to calm down now.I breathed in and out slowly but the orc was now right in front of me. It was just looking at me. I got up and moved passed it to the nest but the orc said something. ¡°Who are you? Why are you in this dungeon?¡± ¡°Who are you?! T--this is my nest.¡± ¡°Hmm, well I was looking for food and found this egg but, it''s too hard. I spotted you with one of my skills. I thought you were a monster! I would have eaten you. Oh, my name is William. What''s yours?¡± I was still scared but,I might get good information from this guy so I¡¯ll talk to him.I answered him with, ¡°My name? It''s Kaori Hiraoka I¡¯m in this dungeon for some reasons.¡± I didn''t want to disclose any of the information just yet. ¡°You seem anti-social are you maybe scared?¡± ¡°No. But, how can you talk if you''re an orc? And you''re not trying to savagely eat me right now. What are you?¡± ¡°Well, it seems like I can trust you so I guess I¡¯ll tell you my story if you promise to tell me why you''re here deal?¡± This orc seems weird but I need the clues. I¡¯ll agree to his demands for now.¡°D--deal.¡± He told me his story while we were in the nest together I was on edge the whole time because I didn¡¯t know whether he would attack me or not. He never did. His story went something like this. He was born in this dungeon but was originally on floor 56. The monsters there were very strong and he was a direct descendant of the Orc Lord. Which I had already known from his titles. He went on to talk about the horrible treatment that all of the Orc Lord¡¯s kin got. For days he would make then work and if they stopped they could be beat up or even worse be killed. William always worked with all his might and was only ever beat up once. He then tried to run away after that time and he got caught. He knew he was going to be killed but was saved by a mysterious person that could easily defeat the orc lord. The person he met did not defeat the orc lord but when he felt his Aura himself and everyone, including the orc lord, fell to the floor. ¡°This mysterious person said that they would save me and give me a name. The name I got was William and it gave me all of these skills. The only thing I had to do was go to the 46th floor until I met a person and I thought it didn¡¯t make sense at first. But, now I found you. My goal is to get to the top of this dungeon and find the one who helped me and say thank you. They gave me a new life and I won¡¯t waste it.¡± His story was very sad. It seemed like one of those stories in a novel but it was nonetheless sad.Maybe I should travel with him? We can reach the top together.I also wondered who the person who helped him was.Had they known I would be down here?Everything was confusing me so I decided to just travel with William. ¡°William, I¡¯ll go with you. I was planning on going to the top of the dungeon and get out of here anyway. We can just go together.¡± ¡°Really! I¡¯ve always wanted a companion. But now I just want to sleep. Can we sleep first and start the expedition to the top of the dungeon later?¡± ¡°That¡¯s fine. I want us to stay here for a while so that I can get a bit stronger. Maybe you can train me?¡± ¡°Me? I¡¯ve never really trained anyone before but I can try. For now, let''s get some sleep.¡± We decided on going one year from now because I needed to get stronger and wait for the egg to hatch. William wanted to stock up on materials too. Throughout all of this, my Thought Process skill levelled up to Lv.2.This is good I have an ally! We decided to go to sleep. I knew that William told me his story but I don¡¯t know if he I can trust him fully yet. I slept a bit away from him and put the egg in between us.Good night world. Chapter 5 - Going Up! [OLD] One week passed before William and I thought we should get going. We had no way to exit the dungeon so we decided to just go up. We began packing all our materials, even though we didn''t have much to pack. All I needed was my golden egg and iron sword. I felt tense as we went towards the gate to the next floor. It would be the beginning of something new...for the both of us. We walked up the stairs and the second we reached the next floor we were shown this message: You have now reached the 47th floor of this dungeon. At this point, all monsters have a boost that gives them double their stats. ¡°Hey?!¡± ¡°What happened?¡± ¡°I¡­got double my stats!¡± That makes sense! William is technically a monster too so he would have double his stats like every other monster! I checked his stats to see how much he got stronger by.

The pain eased a lot. The only pain I felt afterward was the after effects. But, the problem was that it was just a weakened me and an unconscious William. There was nothing we could do to fight back against the creature that killed multiple top notch warriors. The only thing I could do was go onto the stairs to the next floor. The stairs in between were always safe zones that healed! I grabbed William and he was incredibly heavy! I almost couldn¡¯t carry him! I have to do this! Uggggg This is for both of us! We need to make it to the TOP!!!!!!!!!! I felt a sudden boost in my power and realized the¡¸Determination¡¹skill leveled up to level 3! The effects didn¡¯t increase to 6% but 10% which was incredibly high! Williams weight became a little bit less of a burden. The talking walls seemed to notice what I was doing as it started making this SCREECH sound. I can tell you first hand that shit hurt. I didn¡¯t know what to do at this point I can¡¯t move on like this! This time I can¡¯t get a skill right? There''s only one thing I can do at this point! I just pushed through ignoring all the noise and the pain. I¡¯m almost there! I was close and the sound got louder as the talking walls noticed I was getting passed its mental assault. Just a bit more! And WHOOSH as I reached the safe zone the sound and pain to my brain completely disappeared. I could for once lay down. But, immediately I fell asleep. When I came to William still wasn¡¯t awake. Then I remembered that if I could Inspect him he was still alive. Whew, it''s all good. But, I began to wonder. What was that? Although that sound and mental attack could and would knock most people out it wasn¡¯t enough to kill them. And countless of people in the empire had resistance from mental attacks like such! It really makes no sense. There¡¯s no way to go but up so, I¡¯ll wait for William to wake up and we are going to go. I waited for a day and William was still unconscious. I ate some meat that he collected for both of us. I decided to check my stats while waiting for William woke up. I guess I¡¯ll see what I¡¯m going to try and upgrade.

Huh? The Mental Resistance skill was ready to evolve. What would it evolve into? I was curious about that but I was also happy about my growth! The determination skill would always be there and it would continuously make my skills grow at an incredible rate. What''s going to happen when it reaches level 10? Would I have double my stats? If I really thought about it this skill would end up becoming OP. It was like a quest. If I reached the end of the dungeon, which my goal is to do. There wasn¡¯t much of a difference but, somehow, this gave me motivation. I actually had a thought about what I would when I get out of this dungeon! William woke up soon after me and we began to prepare again to go to the next floor even though we didn¡¯t have much. Even if we ever reach the 100th floor it wasn¡¯t going to be easy. Sigh. Chapter 6 - First Obstacle [OLD] With William being awake we thought of ways to get to the top floor. With the annoying sound monster, it would be incredibly hard for William to go with me.Even If I could go without William...I can¡¯t do anything! ¡°This really seems to be a problem. We can¡¯t go on because every time we do...there''s a chance that annoying monster attacks us again. Is there really no solution to this?¡± (William) ¡°What I¡¯m worried about isn¡¯t the monster but what caused a bunch of strong magicians and swordsman from the empire to die. What makes you think we can pass this?¡± There was limited knowledge about the monster and they still haven¡¯t seen what killed all the officials in the empire. ¡°Could we maybe cover our ears with something to avoid the sounds?¡± (William) ¡°No there are also the mental attacks!¡± ¡°Crap I forgot about that.¡± At that point, we thought of giving up. There was nothing we could do. Unless¡­ ¡°Why don¡¯t we just fight the monster!¡± (William) It was the stupidest idea I ever heard! ¡°How do you fight a fucking wall? You want us to throw stuff at it?¡± ¡°Maybe? What about the egg you always carry around! That thing is unbreakable. If we threw it at the wall it would have to take at least a little bit of damage! Then we do that over and over again til it''s dead!¡± (William) Although the idea seemed stupid, there was nothing else we could do. So I went along with William''s idea. Since he still had the status boost he would be the one to throw the egg. We planned out some more and were ready to now enter the 48th floor! I knew I wasn¡¯t prepared for that monster showing up again! The only type of defense we had against it was a stupid little egg that somehow because useful when it is mainly useless! We walked up the rest of the stairs and reached the 48th floor. William confirmed the status boost he received. The difference from last time was that there were monsters on this floor. ¡°Check their stats. They look strong!¡± And so I checked one of the stats for one of the monsters.

It hissed but didn¡¯t get damaged much.Hmm...Probably because of that Shell skill.The battle was pretty even. The monster would attack William but its attack would get dodged. And William would counter but it didn''t do much damage. The battle went on n the same order. But, the monster was losing its ground faster and faster. It''s speed slowed down at an incredible rate. It was actually incredible! William was Lv.9 and he could fight on par with a Lv.21! It was something that anyone could only imagine! But, here I was with someone who could do that.Who gave him that power. Until then just dodge all of its attacks!¡± I inspected this monster at this point:

Lv.??¡¹ Titles ¡¸Spider Minion¡¹ What?The spider was stronger than the Crab at a lower level but that wasn''t the only thing I noticed. They had two of the same skills. One I couldn¡¯t read and they had something about, ¡°Death Army.¡± It really was strange. But that was not the time to think because I had to find some way to get to William and survive this giant monster! The cave was very narrow so there was no way for me to get closer to William. But, that also caused me to be surprised. How did the spider get here? There was no way for it to get to this spot because even the tops were covered. I began running as fast as I could because that was where the monster was weakest at. There was nothing to do but run! The spider chases after me but was close the whole time because my agility was only above it''s by 6 points. Then it shot its web towards me I looked around for anywhere I could dodge to. There were some rocks I could do quick parkour on. Back on earth I always loved doing parkour. It was easy and fun. I jumped on fences or rocks. This was the moment where it actually became handy to know how to parkour. I jumped up about 5 rocks and jumped on top of the spider. It hissed because now it couldn¡¯t attack me while I was on top of it. It tried to smash me on a wall but I jumped to another side of it every time it did so. I leaped on the side rocks and got over it. It was now at its back and running towards William. Then I got a notification.

This skill was another amazing skill, but I had no time to think it over. I needed to run over to William so we could get out of here! I was close enough to William to find that the crab was down, but not dead. ¡°Why didn¡¯t you kill it?!¡± ¡°Just hit it once or twice to get the experience!¡± The spider was on its way but its speed wasn¡¯t high. So I quickly got out my sword and slashed at the crab. Its shell was incredibly hard. It took about 10 strikes for it to finally die.

But, it''s still not enough to beat that fucking Osamu! ¡°It''s fine! There¡¯s bound to be a huge treasure at the end of this dungeon.¡± ¡°That''s if we ever get there! We were only able to kill one of the monsters and there''s still one there! And your hurt!¡± ¡°You are indeed correct. But, we can''t just give up like that!¡± We laid there tired. Each thinking about our life mistakes.Why do I have to do something like this crap! My life is in danger all the fucking time! I just wanna go back to earth!But, of course, my wish was not granted. From the moment I entered this world...my wishes all became void. Just like that, we fell asleep on each side of the wall. While we slept I did not notice the status update that popped up.

Starting Over Hello everyone! Its been a while...14 months to be exact. Although I promised to continue writing this I quickly became bored again. Each time I tried to return some issues came up or I just didn''t know how to continue it. "Welcome, Heroes." A sweet voice sounded out from the infinite light. Just from hearing the voice Marvin felt the urge to bow. This sweet and innocent sounding voice also had a domineering effect on it. Fear consumed all the students as they knelt on the ground. The voice sounded out again but it was closer to them, "I, The Goddess of Light, humbly welcome thine Heroes who will save the world of Eden." In front of them stood a short golden-haired figure. Her skin alluded a shiny white color. Her hair flowed silkily down to her legs. A pure and domineering aura flowed out of her body and surrounded the students. As they knelt they felt a warming sensation inside of their bodies. "I have given all of you a blessing on behalf of the other Gods! The world of Eden is in trouble, we have selected you all to become Heroes and save it from the evil that lays within!" As she spoke the once fearful students were calmed by her sweet voice. Their minds were cleared as they listened in on what they were told to do. Marvin was mesmerized by the sweet voice that came out of this young looking Goddess. "Go! Complete my task and you shall be rewarded greatly by the Aerus Empire!" Information flowed into the student''s minds as another streak of light surrounded them. They disappeared in a flash. Each kingdom has gone through the same process of summoning heroes. In five years time, the strongest of the Heroes will be chosen to go defeat the Great Dragons Of The East and the Demon King. "During those five years, all of you will receive the best protection the Empire can offer. Which brings me to my second task! May I please check your stats?" With confusion on his face, Marvin asked, "Stats? What do you mean?" Kristina smiled with a small glint in her eyes, "People with the ability to grow can all check their status and share with others. Everyone else would have to go to Identifiers and even then it costs an insane amount of gold! In this world, bloodlines are the best identifiers of growth ability! "All the Royal families have great bloodlines and are the strongest in the Empire. Only some incredibly strong Adventurers are able to grow even stronger and venture througho--" Kristina lightly blushed as she realized she was going on a rant, "I apologize sir! I got carried away.
