《Debt Star》 Chapter 1 I was sitting in a white 36" X 72" room, minding my own business when it happened.

"...Huh?" I tilted my head, rather than the sound of something fell into the water, it was a robot like voice. I checked my phone, the game that I played right now was a bird that flapping around, and as far as I knew this game didn''t have a voice feature. And then the ground was moving and the noise was like extended thunder only worse because the vibrations were coming from below. At first, I didn''t move, my brains unable to make sense of the input from my ears and feet. Then like a switch had been flickedI instantly clean my bottom and put my pants, even though the fear was consuming me, I just didn''t want to run without a pair of pants. The walls screamed and the lights flickered rapidly before going out altogether. Whether I survived or died was depending on whether my apartmentstood or fell, and I would either walk away hand in hand or perish in the rubble. At last, I wore my pants. Though not soon after I wore my pants, the shaking retreatedand another voice... no... blue screen, kinda like the augmented reality in sci-fi movie appeared right in front of my eyes.
Due to the inability to pay the world debt, totalled: 41,311,202,018,210 Cosmos Credits on monthly interest alone. From today onwards, Earth orofficially known as Terra will be joining the United Star and Planet Federation.
My mouth and eyes widened, there were too many things that shocked me right now. First, "What the heck is this blue screen?" Second, "What the heck is this blue screen?!!" Isaid as I rubbed my eyes. Third and the most important thing, "Wait... so we aren''t making a debt to another country?!"
And as such, as the member of our federation, we are now scattering the nanomachines to give Terran the tools to survive andpay their debt! Good luck! And may the cosmos be in your favour!
I stared at the screen in a complete confused state, trying to touch through them and staring as nothing happens. Letting out a sigh,"Did...did I accidentally use a drug?" Ishook my head and continued walking towards the toilet door. "All these study, work and no play must make me into ahallucinated boy, yes hallucination is certainly a symptom of the exhaustion." I turned the doorknob, trying to get some water to drink. *Kerchak Kerchak* I could only turn the doorknob, but I couldn''t push it open. Something big must be blocked the door entrance, most likely that thunderous sound that I heard before was the sound of my roof broke down. Just as I leaned down to the wall, checking my phone and trying to get some help from 911 but my phone screen was a total black and another screen began to fill my vision.
Special Announcement! Due to the massive amount of the population, 0.001% of Terran(Homo Sapienonly) will be working in the universe most popular TV show ''Planet Survival.'' To any Terran(Homo Sapien) that received this announcement means they''re chosen and will be randomly teleported across different planets. Upon the 0.001% payment of the total debt, these individuals (If they''re still alive) will be allowed to use the portal facility from the Federation.
And then the white walls distorting, the roof cracking, the ground shining... no something was shining the ground, I felt like I was being stretched, pulled, compressed and squashed at the same time, I literarily screamed "Kyaa!!" when I noticed my body floated to the sky.

And the next thing that I knew, I was standing in the middle of nowhere with another blue screen popped right in front of my face.

...THIS IS VERY BAD, RIGHT?!!! Or that was what I wanted to scream but words left my mouth. No matter what, my mind just couldn''t handle it. First I was doing my own thing, that damn taco... and the next thing I realized I was in the middle of the jungle. I looked to the left and the right, everything was covered by the friggin blue screens. It almost felt like my vision was a real-life pop-up advertisement but rather than actual ads these things were blue screens.

Thanks to the newest screens, after spending 5 minutes of my times closing the pop-up advertisements and scams, all totalled no less than 211 screens, at the very least I managed to get a good grasp of my surrounding area. Everything was green, they said green was a calm colour, but if everything was literarily green, green leaf, green grass, green ground, green tree. "Yeah, I need to calm down." I closed my eyes and started taking a deep breathe while repeatedly saying "Green is calm, breath in, breathe out, green is calm..." But no matter how much I tried to calm myself, this greenness alone was enough to make me felt unease. Thankful enough everything on the sky has the usual blue and white colour. "Right... if I''m not wrong one of the scams says I''m in Strillon 1A." Not like this was an useful information though. "Anyway, seem like I need to choose my Augmentation." Though, from this information alone there wasn¡¯t a lot to go on. It just described everything in general without giving me a clear readout ofthe statistic and the others. I stared at the Augmentation screen, trying to think of what I¡¯d need in the short and long-term, I meant just in case if I wasn''t crazy or I wasn''t on drugs, after all my decision right here could affect my life and my safety. Then something caught my eye. The Supporter mentioned something about healing... but I didn''t know just how much I could take the damage or how much damage supporter could heal. Then the Defenderboasted that they had a great defence. Great defence implied survivability, right? though I rather avoided the damage than getting a hit. If this was the case then the Infiltrator? yeah... evading the attacks while having great mobility might be a wise choice, however, what would happen if I got ambushed? It seemed the only good choice were Attacker, Techer, Blaster and Controller. For Blaster and Controller, I immediately scratched them out. If I was using my limited knowledge in game logic, right now I didn''t know how many levels I should get before I got a useful skill. "So either Attacker orTecher huh." I rubbed my chin as I stared at the screen. Although Attacker seemed promising, considering the environment I was in I thought attacking wouldn''t have much effect if I couldn''t see the target. After some consideration, with a face full of hesitation I chose Techer. It seemed like it was the most versatile class, not too mention the bonus in the perception. I only prayed this would be enough to avoid the danger before it happened.

One second after the Synchronisation complete, the truth was I wanted to learn more about those crazy amounts of code, but then I was amazed by myself when I could hear the insect chirping that I couldn''t hear before, smelled the watery smell from the grass and the leaf, not to mention I could see one of the trees was moving its branch, noticed the colour gradation and the pattern from almost every green things. ...Hm? A tree that was moving its branches? I couldn''t feel the wind was blowing against my skin, and I couldn''t see the other leaf or grass were rustling either. "Yeah..." Without further ado, I turned my back and ran away from the moving tree, no... I wasn''t dreaming and my eyes weren''t playing a trick on me, why? because as soon as I ran the friggin tree was chasing me. I had several bad news and good news after running for 15 minutes. The good news, the walking tree was slow, I guessed I did many of unnecessary running, Speaking of running, just as I started running from the friggin tree, a screen popped up, telling me my General Code [Running] Rank I was unlocked and I got rewarded by 10 cosmos credit. Though, maybe the sudden increase in Running rank was the reason the walking tree couldn''t chase me. As for the bad news... even though I didn''t take any hit my health was reduced by two not to mention my condition right now was exhaustion and dehydration. Catching up with my breath, at least for now I had my first priority:Searchingdrinkable water source. Chapter 2 Originally, I had just planned to search for water source while wondering what was general code, but in the process, I learned another general code, Athletic Rank 1 just by walking around; earning me another 10 cosmos point. But I quickly stumbled upon several problems. I stopped, sweating lightly from the constant walking, I kinda regretted I rarely did any physical exercise when I was on Earth, and my Health reduced by another 2 points. I supposed Health was my general health condition, including my stamina, sickness, and something along the line. The next problem, I gritted my teeth and faced the truth. I saw a pond laying right in front of my face but the water was green, and my brain instantly assumed it was undrinkable. My throat burning unpleasantly. After much thought and several sighs, I decided to rest right in front of the pond and opened my menu. There were five options on the menu: Status, Codes, Database, Social and Interdimensional Storage. I already knew what Status was, so starting from the left, I clicked on Codes. A new menu opened up and showed me two bars. The first bar was General with (4) and the other bar was Techer with (2). I guessed (4) and (2) meant the bonuses that I got from choosing Techer. Starting from General it was: Cut weapon, Stab weapon, Bash weapon, Ranged weapon, Throwing weapon, Flexible weapon, Natural weapon, Shield, Cloth armour, Light armour, Medium armour Heavy armour, Trinket, Implant and Tools. The text from Techer bar showed exactly the same as before, and I would assume this was the class skill though in this case, class code. I rubbed my chin as I put my thought into these options. If this was a game, I would choose the weapon first and then choose the code but considering all of my codes were Constructing, it seemed it was the best decision to choose the skill first and check whether or not I could make the equipment. After a few minutes of hesitation, I clicked on Trap Construction, considering this would be enough to keep me safe at night, and Throwing Weapon Construction, considering I didn''t want to fight face to face not to mention I didn''t have a gun and the ammunition or something along the line.

Congratulations TRA-HMA-HOS-M1000043667! Trap Construction 1 and Wire Trap have been successfully synchronized! Congratulations TRA-HMA-HOS-M1000043667! Throwing Weapon Construction 1 and Urchin Dart have been successfully synchronized! Unlike the last time, I didn''t feel any change in my body but I felt like several pieces of knowledge were being planted into my mind. And when I checked Techer menu bar it already contained the description from those codes.
Techer
Trap Construction I
Trap Construction I: Learns how to construct an extraordinary trap (Difficulty level 1) with simple materials such as a piece of fibre, a small amount of mineral (such as a dagger, iron spike, or a few nails), an organic material and so on.
Wire Trap: Creates 10-meter wires that can be used to trip creatures and obstruct their movements. Cost: 1 Photon. (Last 24 hour.)
Throwing Weapon Construction I
Throwing Weapon Construction I: Learns how to construct an extraordinary throwing weapon (Difficulty level 1) with simple materials.
Urchin Dart: Creates 10 light dart made from an extremely hard Urchin spike. Cost: 1 Photon. (Last 24 hour.)
It seemed everything in the construction category had two different functions, one of it was constructing with a material for a permanent amount of time and the other one creating without material with a limited amount of time. Though it was strange that Trap Construction 1 really provided everything that I need, maybe I was lucky or this was what the Augmentation prepared either way, I continued to check the other options. For proficiency, I chose Throwing and saving the other three for later days, considering I didn''t know what I should take or what kind of situation I was in.This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there. The database divided into two menus: Codex and Chart or basically a google and GPS. Codex further expanded into an Organic and Inorganic material while Chart expanded into a Universal chart, Galaxy Chart, Solar System Chart, Planet Chart and Local Chart. My lips immediately curled into a big grin when I noticed these functions. Although most of the things in Codex was greyed out, seemed like I could scan the object and it would let me accessed the object''s data, and the information of the pond that was laying still right in front of my face was undrinkable at least for my species. After reading the explanation with a face full of disappointment and relief, I held my urge to slurp the water and swallowing my own saliva as I continued exploring my menu. Social seemed to be our communication feature, though I assumed I must enter the said person ID before I authorised to add them as my comrade and the other party must accept my invitation; the other feature was Title and Records, both of it couldn''t be accessed. Interdimensional Storage allowing me to put things in my own pocket dimension but there were several limitations such as the weight limit equal to my Bulk though it didn''t tell me the exact measurement, the volume limit Equal to my Strength, and I couldn''t put living, sentient and intangible things. After everything was done, I lay down while wondering what I should do for my next move, suddenly my stomach rumbled unpleasantly, to tell the truth, I knew where some food located. While I was searching for the water source, I had spotted strange spherical green fruit in the jungle surrounding me. At first, I wanted to eat and bring some with me but considering I didn''t know whether it was poisonous and as far as my knowledge went, there were several fruits on earth with poisonous skin. With a long sigh, I stood and walked to my previous path. No matter where I go The jungle swayed softly, almost felt like the trees were watching me, and made me shivered, but I still crept out and tiptoed towards the treeline. When I reached the spot with more denser treeline and ferns, which extended for several feet before the vine-encrusted treeline. And right around this spot was the place I saw the fruits. But I hesitated to take another step, considering the moving tree from before at the very least I knew some of the trees were really watching me. Though my hunger was beating my anxiousness. I stopped for a while to catch my breath and think. I could continue to walk slowly, trying my best to remain quiet, or I could simply dash in and search the fruits, and then leave. But because I didn''t know the exact location of the fruits, I chose the conservative sneaking route. And as I began to continue walked quietly, I learned another General Skill Sneak Rank 1 and my Athletic rose to Rank 2; both of them earning me 20 cosmos point. And even though I didn''t know how much a sneak rank 1 would help me but it still boosted my confidence that I might be able to pull this off. I slowly skulked my way forward, pressing aside the trees, watching any suspicious activity, and avoiding any moving trees. Finally, I peaked around a particularly thick trunk, eyes scanning. No animals, no movement. But there was a tree that was crowded with spherical green fruits, around 10 meters away from me, located on the less dense part of the jungle. I began creeping down in that direction, my heart beating extremely heavy in my ears. When I reached the trees, I had another problem; I didn''t know how to climb a tree. Pathetic it was though I did know how to climb it if it had a staircase or a rope or the starting branch. But considering the tree height, its first branch was 5 meters away from the ground and the width... it was bigger than my body, sure enough my hands couldn''t circle around the tree. While I wondered how should I climb it, I circled around and inspected the tree, searching for any hazardous things such as knots, rotting spots, insect infestations, bark damage, and holes. There was no such thing located on the tree, and this tree didn''t seem to be a moving tree. And with another rumbling sound coming out from my stomach, I took a few steps back and ran at the tree. Planted my foot against the trunk, pushed my body inward and upward with my foot and jumped with my other foot at the same time, and reached up to grab the branch with both of my hands. "....." Still hanging on the tree, I couldn''t move any of my muscle because I was speechless, even though I''d just wanted to check the tree sturdiness and how high I could jump, I never imagined myself to be able to jump this high and succeed in a single attempt. Well, first things first. I lifted my body and continued to climb my way to the fruiting branch. The spherical green fruit was a little bit larger than an apple with a squishy body. From the codex, it told me the fruit name was Episoth and it was edible. Without hesitation, I widened my mouth and crunched at the fruits. It was sweet, juicy and ripe, filling my mouth with a wonderful fruity taste. He had to spit out some seeds, but initially, it seemed like they were good for eating and had enough juice to make me hydrate. Satisfied, while I was eating another one, I remembered about the box and jokingly said " [Interdimensional Storage] " While hoping I could put the fruits onto my storage. Though, the fruits on my hand suddenly distorted and sucked into nothingness. ...If this was a normal situation most of the time I would take my phone and try to record this incident. Though this time I calmly opened my Interdimensional Storage menu and the Episoth fruit (Half-Eaten.) was listed. With a big grin, I continued to climb further and put every fruit into my storage and around the time I couldn''t put anything into the storage was when I realized I was being watched. Different from the passive watch from before, this time I was sure it was a hostile one. Chapter 3 Several pon-sized green dogs were barking at me from the ground. No matter how I looked at this, I was doomed. At first, my reaction was trying to get off from the tree and dashing away from this place, but I realized that wasn''t the best choice after I saw 8 dogs and all of them didn''t even bother to climb the tree as each one of them was just circling around. Maybe they couldn''t climb the tree? Then why didn''t they attack me when I was on the ground? Did they just arrive? Or there was another reason for their behaviour? Either way, I had food that should act as the nourishment and the water, and the dogs had nothing, if I waited for a little longer they should''ve given up and let me went. And so I waited, and waited, and waited. But no matter how long I waited, the dogs didn''t stop their''s bark. "...Damn, those dogs are persistent." Or maybe my plan was bad. Anyway waiting for them to go wasn''t an option, after munching several fruits and spitting the seed onto the dogs an idea crossed my mind. I never used the codes and the system itself didn''t tell me how to use it, but curiously I started by saying "Urchin Dart." And nothing happened. Slightly confused, this time I closed my eyes and started concentrating and imaginingthe dart shape. " [Urchin Dart] " I said, but this time I felt like something inside of me moved, something that I hadn¡¯t had and noticed because it never had been there before, rising from my chest and rushing to my hands. Slowly I opened my eyes and saw blue lines circling around at my hand, condensed and made a shape. Soon enough, the bluish light was dispersed and 10 transparent blue coloured darts appeared on my left hand. Though another problem arose. I already clenched the dart, ready to throw it right at the dog but... I couldn''t do it. Forgot about killing an animal, I''d even never hit someone before, the most violent things I''d ever done was fighting against my little sister, and that was when I was in elementary school. No... that was a lie, I''d stepped on insect and killed a goldfishbefore, so this much wasn''t a problem right? Yes... this was a dead or live situation. Once again, I clenched the dart, pulled my arm and shoved it forward. Though I hesitated just a moment before I threw the dart. The dart indeed flew to one of the dogs but it only scraped its head. This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. The dormant dogs suddenly glared at me, violently barking and marching to the tree. At first, I thought they couldn''t climb the tree but my naive and idiotic thought suddenly terminated when one of them jumped, embedded its claws to the trunk and slowly climbing its way toward me. "Im...impossible." As the dog climbing its way, in a panic mode I threw the rest of my darts, some missed, some hit the branch andone of the darts stuck on the dog''s eye, but that much didn''t seem enough to kill it. Rotating the gear on my brain, I tried to think a way out from my current condition. " [Wire Trap] " I shouted. Following my shout, the same blue lines were circling around at my palm, condensing itself and shaping into a translucent grey cube. And even though this was the first time I saw this, I knew how to activate it or at least its most basic function. Pointing the cube to the other tree, I fired a hook from the middle of the cube, launching it to the nearest adjacent tree, and the hook had enough power to pierce the tree bark; connecting my tree and the other tree with a thick wire. I pulled the wire to check its durability and it seemed the hook pierced quiet deep. At first I wanted to swing with the wire but I immediately shook my head on that decision and decided to tie the rest of the wire along with the cube onto the branch and made a simple bridge. Clumsily I traversed the rope while the dogs below me were jumping andchasing after me. As soon as I arrived at the adjacent tree a notification telling me I got General Code Climb Rank 1 while the dogs were barking at the tree base. But in a thicker part of the jungle, I took a deep breath, searching for the nearest and sturdiest not moving branch and leapt from one tree to the another while the dogs faithfully following my trail. After spending some time chasing after me until the sun turned into the moon, though in this planet case two moons. The dog slowly stopped pursuing me. Sighing a breath of relief, I continued to leap my way for a few minutes until my brain convinced me the dogs already gone. Though because of this incident, I got another General Code: Jump but this time it instantly rose to Rank 2,alongside this my Athleticalso rose to Rank 3. Back on Earth people always said to learn from your mistake, but in my current situation, a single mistake could kill me. Indeed I was learning several valuable lessons. First, I shouldn''t let my guard down when I was gathering the food or resting. Second, the dogs able to climb and yet they didn''t do it, my best guess they were waiting for me to climb the tree so they could surround me. Third, I should keep calm no matter what the situation was, as for the killing, I should prepare myself for that either. Anyway, just before I took a rest, I spread several Wire Traps, surrounding several areas while making devotion to minimize or never make any mistake again. I ended my first day at Strillon 1 by sleeping on the tree, surrounded by wires, while complaining about the insect and the coldness of the night. Chapter 4 When I woke up, it was because several spam messages notifying me. After rubbing my eyes and clearing the messages, I noticed the wires surrounding me shaking wildly. Sitting up, I was stunned to find a green bird had apparently caught itself between my wires, even though I didn''t mean to spread it that way. Sighing, I got up and pulled the wires to inspect the bird. Although the bird wasn''t big maybe I could use it as bait or distraction. But then I shook my head. I realized if I wanted to use the bird that way, I needed to kill it. Although I already made up my mind, I didn''t plan to kill something except it was an emergency. In fact, even just holding the bird and watching it flapping its wings was enough to disperse my resolution. grinding would become a chore after a while. Still, if I didn''t get used to killing things, it would become a chore after at the later time. ¡°I really need to do this huh...¡± I muttered, my fingers were shaking. But then I snapped back to the moment, with nervous eyes I saw a bird with a broken neck. What followed my action was total silence, only rustling of the leaves that echoed through the air and another screen appeared on the bird corpse.
Rivel Bird
Convert (1 Cosmos Credit.) Absorb (2 Experience.) Exchange (Get 1 random item.) Salvage (Nothing happened.)
If this was a video game, I would totally happy with this discovery, no matter what this thing was... No, I did happy with this discovery, but the feeling of a corpse slowly went cold on my hand made me anxious. I put the bird in front of me and after lamenting to the bird fate for a while, I shook my head and slapped my own face. "Focus... yeah, this is life or death matter, I need to get used to this kind of thing." With a little determination, from my knowledge alone I knew Cosmos Credit was the money currency, so convert was the feature to turn the bird into a money or something like that. Experience... if this was a game then absorb was a way to raise my level? Already knew two options, and if Salvage meant nothing happened. Curiously I touched the third option, Exchange. Blue lines circling around the corpse, but this time the corpse slowly turned into a dust, leaving nothing but a small pill. I grabbed the pill and another screen appeared in front of me.
Monomed: Recover 30 Health.
"...A potion huh." Though, the thought of this pill coming from the bird somehow made me thought about the sanitation. Then again, the bird turned into a dust, with no traces of blood and feathers left, so I guessed this pill must be clean. Sighing, I took another Episoth from the Storage and putting the pill in. After eating two Episoth fruits, I climbed my way down andsneaked around the jungle. ***If you come across this story on Amazon, it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. When I strolled around, my sneak increased to rank 2. But seemed like this wasn''t enough as I noticed several dogs were following me. No... rather than following me, they were circling me. Maybe they were the same group and noticed their last tactic wouldn''t work so they changed their tactic? Anyway, the dogs seemed hesitant to attack me as they realized they knew I noticed their presence. As far as I noticed, five dogs on the back, and one on the front, left and right. I didn''t notice if they had another dog behind their back though, either way, I didn''t want to take my chance and climbed the tree near me. Though, a moment I touched the tree and trying to climb it, the dogs were breaking their concealment and charging toward me. But this was what I wanted them to do it. By turning my back and pretending I had a hard time to climb it, all of the 8 dogs were leaping out, and it seemed like they didn''t have others back up. Anyhow, at ease I jumped for about three meters, landing on the nearest branch and continued it for a few meters high. " [Urchin Dart] " As 10 darts appearing on my palm, in my heart, I kept repeating the word''They want to eat me, this is self-defence.'' to try to calm myself down as the dogs were climbing their way to the top. Closing one of my eyes, I aimed at the dogs head and threw it as strong as I could. The first dart flew right into the dog eyes, and with whimpering, voice it let its paws off from the tree and the first dog fell to the ground, seemingly dead as I noticed its chest didn''t move. And it might be because I was throwing it from the distance but I didn''t feel guilty compared to the time I broke the bird''s neck. It''s just... The sensation of feeling a life slowly gone from your own hand and the feeling of throwing things and noticing a creature died because my action was totally different. Firmly convincing myself, I repeatedly threw the darts at the other dogs. And when the sun reached its maximum height, six dogs were laying dead while the other two were running away as they noticed they couldn''t take me down. After waiting and watching my surrounding for a few minutes, I noticed the area was safe and climbed my way down. And if my guess was right, one by one I used the absorb options, the dog body turned into a shining dust but this time it flew to my body. One dog gave me 13 experience and by absorbing 5 dogs I received a notification telling me I reached level 2. When I opened my stats it had [2] written on the side and all of my health//force and its regen rose one point higher than what the Techer supposedly to have; my best guess the +1 was the standard things that would happen every time I levelled up. Along with those bonuses, while wondering why my Photon increased by 9, my best assumption it was because of Dexterity or Perception. Either way, I hadn''t had a slight idea about with status would increase the photon number. Next, the [2] itself meant I could raise my stats by two points. After thinking for a while, I still thought Perception was the best status to go, and for the other stats, I chose agility for my mobility.

After putting the point in perception, nothing changed. And by putting 1 point in Agility, my photon regeneration rose by 0.1 points. Maybe it would be best to assume each point of Dexterity increasing maximum Photon by 3 and Agility increasing its regeneration by 0.1, outside of their respective bonuses. And it seemed like the augmentation level and the general level had a different growth. Either way, on the last dog I chose Salvage. The screen was gone and just as the description said, nothing happened. "Huh," I muttered in disappointment until I remembered I needed the material to construct the throwing weapons and the traps. As I said the word, a screen appeared. It showed me a lot of unavailable options, though there were 4 options I could access: Bonemerang, Urchin dart, Bone throwing knife, and Stinkbomb. Touching these options would send me into another screen. Most of the screen was the information on how to create the weapon manually by using photon or I could use Cosmos credit to instantly make the weapon but I couldn''tmodify the weapon if I did it this way. While wondering what was the deal with the modify, I switched to Trap Construction I and it had the same screen and rules as Throwing Weapon Construction I, and I assumed the rest of Construction code would have the same screen. Anyway, Trap Construction I had 4 available options: Alarm, Wire, Snare and Caltrops. And it seemed there were two options to increase the list from my would increase simultaneously with my Database, in the simplest way, the more I explored this planet and met more creature, the more options I would have. Though... the real problem started right here. Bonemerang and Throwing bone knife main ingredient was bone, Alarm could be created by anything that could make sounds, starting from tiny bell to a vocal chord or a tongue, Caltrops and Urchin dart ingredient were urchins, spikes, nails or fangs... and there was a dog corpse laying right in front of me, fresh and had most of everything that I need. But... the problem was I never had skinning or gutting anything before. Back on earth, most of the ingredient I bought was a processed one. Heck... I couldn''t even dare to cut open the frog in biology class. Then again, I already killed the dog and it would be very inhumane to kill it and leaving the corpse to rot. In my mind, the least I could do was scavenging its body part. With a deep sigh, while wondering why I didn''t just turn the dog into an experience, I created another dart and carefully skinning the dog. *** While sighing to my clumsy work, wondering if I did the right thing. I was surprised to find everything except the bones, fangsand eyes were green, green meat, green blood, green organs... well... I assumed that was normal on this planet.Unauthorized usage: this narrative is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings. Next, I created a bone-throwing knife using Cosmos credit and manually constructed bonemerang using photon. With 10 cosmos credit I instantly made 10 bone throwing knives, Yes, the same blue lines were circling on the bones and voila, they''d just turned themselves into a sharp bone knife. And when I manually constructed the bonemerang, the blue lines were covering my hands, a screen appeared telling me what I should do and showing me the weapon diagram. I faithfully followed the screen instruction such as bending the bone, drawing a line with my fingers covered photon, and after I spent around 10 minutes, I managed to create one bonemerang. Taking out several Episoths to clean my hand and emptying some space on my storage, while putting the weapons and the dog corpses into the storage, two screens appeared right in front of my face.

...Even though I spent more time making the bonemerang but it had worse quality than the other things. Then again, maybe this was what the system meant by modify. Seemed like the quality and the other things would depend on how well the creations process went. After resting for a while, I continued to walk. Avoiding the moving trees, the dogs, finding another green coloured pond, finding a walking mushroom, normal sized birds and dog-sized birds, small insects and human-sized beetle. As my sneak rose to rank 3 and my athletic rose to rank 4, I noticed I was in a more thinner part of the jungle and to my surprise, I didn''t notice any kind of dangerous presence on this spot. Sitting down, while wondering what I should do. I decided to do a little jog near around the area until my running rose to rank 2 while making a mental note about the Earth''s debt. With 41 trillion as the monthly interest alone and assuming the interest was 1% for each month, multiply it by 100 that meant we had 4,1 quadrillion cosmos credit as our total debt. 0,001%Si of that meant 41 billion as the down payment. But... the fact that I already reached more than 100 cosmos credit and if I assumed 7 billion people multiply it by 100, shouldn''t we can already use the portal? Then again, the 7 billion was what my professor told me, not to mention the unregistered people. Sighing, my steps grew slower and weaker as I did more calculation than the running. In the end, several conclusions crossed my mind, starting from my professor data was wrong by a very high margin, or they didn''t get a single General Code; albeit impossible, or most of the human already dead or there was some kind of method we needed to use to pay the debt; though if this method exist I believed the system would tell us about the detail. Then again, this kind of thing wasn''t important right now. It wasn''t like I could and want to gather 41 billion so that everyone else could use the portal. Yes... what important right now was focusing on my own survivability, searching for a steady source of foods and waters, the safe spot for resting, raising my levels and lastly collecting the cosmos credit. Congratulations! General Code: Running have reached rank 3! "Oh..." I muttered as I snapped back into the reality. It seemed while I was deeply thinking about unimportant thing and plan, my legs were still moving around. Feeling contempt with my half-assed training result, I decided to stop my training and started to surrounding my camp with wires, 10m for each side. Taking some of Episoth fruits, before the sky turned dark, I managed to manually createan alarm trap and several caltrops before I went to sleep. Chapter 6 On the third day, I spent most of my morning training my throwing weapon proficiency while creating several traps. I now had a better understanding of how to use my momentum to enhance my attacks, drew the darts faster or threw a few darts at once. Another thing that I noticed was that I was rather inaccurate with throwing darts. At around 15 meters, it became luck to hit a tree branch. But after a few hours of training, the throwing weapon proficiency and urchin darts or wire trap still didn''t increase. Did I miss something or I didn''t spend enough time to train it? Either way, after resting for a while to replenish my photon, with a determined face, I left the open area and once more entered the jungle, searching for another suitable campsite. I sneaked down between the treeline, moving across the trees while avoiding any bushes or grasses that could make an unnecessary sound. After walking for some time, I arrived at another thinner part of the jungle and around 10 meters from my current location I could see another Episoth tree, but I was stunned to see a fat human-sized green baboon had been picked the fruits clean. It clearly didn''t show any interest towards me and only looking at me with alazy glance while burping and scratching its stomach. Maybe it was a herbivore or the baboon was full that was what I thought on the first hand. But I didn''tforgetabout my plan of remaining relatively calm in the face of danger. Taking a deep breath, I decided to circle the areaand avoidingthegreen baboonbut... As soon as I turned around, I could hear a sound ofsomethingbroken down. Mybrain telling meto jump awaybut my bodycouldn''t keep up with my brain. I only shifted my bodyandstupidly watchedapointy branchgrazing through my neck. Blunder... what a total blunder. I could only thinkthatas I felt blood seeping outof thegrazeon myneck right side. As my left hand was holding the wound, I heard the sound of something big had just fallen to the ground. I turned around and saw the baboon was lazily walking toward me, burping as its eyesclearly showing themain course had arrived. I glared at the baboon, raised my hand and channelled photon into his palm, preparing an urchin dart. I had discovered that I didn¡¯t actually need to say anything out loud to use it, just concentrate and channel thephoton inside my body. And I could create it either on my left or right hand or in my pocket, and I didn''t need to create all 10 of them at once. The blue lines slowly formed into 3 darts between my finger, taking almost 3seconds to condense. The casting time for each dart was one second but sometimes I could shorten a little bit of the casting time, though I didn''t know the exact trigger for this condition;hopefully I wouldfind it in the future. I threw forward 3 darts in a mostly straight direction, slamming into the baboon¡¯s muzzle. "Tsk." I clicked my tongue as I realized it still too hard for me to actually hit a small and moving target without the help of luck. But almost immediately, the baboon eyes went wide and it seemed to be enraged by my action. It then turned its eyes towards me, which began to glow red. It opened its mouth and roaring for a few seconds; the roar itself wasn''t scary but it was loud enough to make the blood on my neck gushing out.The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there. Finally, its hand grabbed a chunk of rock and threw it directly to my face. But this time I was prepared, on the moment its hand grabbed the rock I already prepare myself to leap away. Hearing the crackling sound behind my back, I didn''t need to look back to know a hole was created on the tree behind me. "...If the rock hit me." I muttered as my face went blue. Though, turning around and running away wasn''t the best option either, as it would be hard for me to avoid the baboon attacks. And considering it had the baboon appearance, climbing the tree wasn''t an answer either. Creating another 3 darts, this time I sprinted in a circle, not even stopping for a moment. Though my accuracy dropped drastically as soon as I doing this running and throwing tactics. On the other hand, the baboon attacks couldn''t hit me either. As I watched from 3 darts only 1 of them hit the baboon head, sometimes all of them totally missed. I changed my target and decided to hit the baboon wider side. Agitated and noticed its attacks didn''t work. The baboon started charging toward me and it had incredible speed either, though I wasn''t running around for nothing. As soon as the baboon''s feet touching the ground and crushing a cube that I''d scattered around. A vine appeared from the cube and immediately constricted the baboon''s feet, making the baboon completely immobilized from the location of the trap. Yes, it was the snare trap. There were several options to set the trap though, such as adding a leash, in which case the target was limited to the length of the leash or if there was a tall object or structure nearby, I could have the trap lifted the target. Though I needed to spend a few seconds or minutes to set the trap in that way. Either way, the traps that I scattered were a normal snare trap. Without thinking too much, I immediately raining the baboon with darts, shifting it to bone throwing knife when the darts creation process started. And after twenty or more darts the baboon slowly fell to the ground. Just to make sure, I threw several bone throwing knives to check whether or not it really dead... and the baboon wasn''t moving around. The momentI realized it was dead, I sighed and collapsed on the ground. Shivering, I once more realized how close I was to death while I remained here. And the worst part was that I had only been attacked once by a branch, and by the time I checked my health, it still did 8 damage to me. Not to mention the bleeding couldn''t stop either. Though, it was at this moment I remembered about the monomed. It might be a waste to take this pill, but I didn''t want to die because of infection. Without hesitation, I took the monomed out of the dimensional storage and gulping it down. It didn''t have a taste, but I could feel the warmness feeling on my neck and by the time I noticed it the wound was closing. I couldn¡¯t help grinning slightly by the effect of monomed. No... the truth was I smiled because I had survived and it did feel good to living and breathing. And without feeling remorse or guilt, this time I absorbed the green baboon for 135 experience. And once again, I level up. After collecting some of the useable bone throwing knivesand regretting the fact I couldn''t take the snare trap once I had set them down. I decided to climb the tree, resting while thinking what status I should spend at. I decided, for now, it was Constitution and Agility.

Raising Constitution also increased my health by 6 points, while the Agility was the same as before. "But...That was probably too close." I muttered while making a mental note and simulation on my last encounter. Fourth, I shouldn''t turn my back on my enemy. Fifth, I should wisely use my resources. Sixth, the one that attacked first would have a bigger advantage, physically and morally. Chapter 7 "Hm..." It took around 10 minutes resting before every my photon reached its maximum value and I continued my training. Though, there was one problem that bothered me. It was the throwing distance. Depending on the angle and the object weight, my maximum throwing distance for urchin dart was somewhere around 15m, beyond that it would diminish and completely lose its power at 20m or more. But I found another discovery. If I put the darts in front of the wire trap, it had enough firepower to pierce 1.5l pet bottle sized tree, though the maximum distance was 10m. And if I manually created the wire trap, I could modify the thickness and the colour. Anyway, after training and creating for an hour, it was clear that both construction and proficiency wouldn''t rank up. And making mental note, one single green dog had enough ingredients for me to create 50 bone throwing knives or 10 bonemerang, 2 set of 20 caltrops and 2 alarm trap. Wire and snare could be created by using the surrounding vines, as for the stink egg by taking the egg from rivel bird. Then by either killing or maybe meeting the green baboon, I could create bone javelin and chump. Bone javelin main ingredient was a bone with one-meter length while chump main ingredient was a pound of meat. After learning every information that I''d just got, I continued searching for another suitable campsite. But after an hour walking, my breathing became heavy and I found another problem.

When this notification came in, I instantly dropped to the ground. Panting, exhausted, shivering. "W..what just happened?" Browsing through the database, when I opened the local chart I noticed the area in front of me had a grey overlay. It seemed like the area with blue overlay was an airless environment, at least for a human.Reading on this site? This novel is published elsewhere. Support the author by seeking out the original. "...T...that was dangerous." Even though the area in front of me had trees and grasses, but when I opened the codex and scanned the tree and grasses in front of me, it seemed those type of trees and grasses were absorbing a big amount of oxygen. Then... another mental note, number seven: Always checked the chart before venturing out. With a deep sigh, this time I walked while paying attention to the map. But the grey overlay area was gigantic,no matter how many hours I had walked I couldn''t find the corner from this area. And then another problem arose. I was too focused on the chart, by the time I realized it, several short green humanoids with pointy ears and wide, ungainly head already surrounded me. Indeed I was shocked by their presence. But I managed to regain my calm, and patiently watching them. They wore nothing but a leather cloth to cover their crotch, from their figure it seemed all of them were male, andconsidering their weapon was stone hammer and club, I assumed their civilisation level was primitive. Anyway... they didn''t seem hostile.. maybe. "Erm...Hello?" I said in a low tone. Though... I really regretted my action. The green humanoids were answering my greeting with surprised shouts. They clenched their crude weapon and proceeded to surround me, slowly closing in as if I was their prey. Did I offend them? As I wondered about that, one of the green humanoids was throwing a fist-sized rock toward me. Though... having 5 Agility and 8 Perception really helped a lot. I might be not super fast, but at the very least I could evade the rock by shifting my body to the left. Next, the other green humanoid immediately usedhis stone hammer to bashmy head without a moment of hesitation. But what replied the green humanoid was my fist, straight to his face. The miserable shriek from the green humanoid who had his nose broken down echoed throughout the jungle. ...Indeed they clearly showed hostility toward me. But if I was in their situation, line a green humanoid suddenly appeared on Earth, I bet hostility was the first thing we did to them. But in a moment, another green humanoid or greeny had run behind me,using its scrawny arms to swing hiswooden club desperately in an attempt to hit me with a loud shout. While I was wondering why the greeny was shouting if he wanted to attack me from behind. I leapt forward and did a knee attack to the greeny that was throwing a rock at me. With two greenies down, I wondered if they were the children of this planet native. And if that was the case, that meant I''d just hit children. Either way... I didn''t want to kill them... maybe if it was an animal I could justify my action, but killing a person... yeah. Taking a stone from the greeny hand, I threw it right at the wooden club greeny face... and one hit was enough to make him dropped down. Now I was more convinced that they were a kid alien. The last greeny standing or should I say dancing with a pole and dog skull located on the tip. I took bonemerang out of my storage, though just a moment before I swung my arm. Forming in the front of the dog skull was as large as a fist, a ball of flame emerged and flew towards me. I was shocked when I saw the flame, I couldn''t even lift my finger because of the shock but... The flame speed was... was like watching a balloon being thrown. It was slow... super slow, slow enough to make me snapped back and it didn''t even reach halfway to my location. On the other hand, the greeny was smiling bravely due to be able tocreate the flame ball successfully and gave him a massive boost in his confidence. His eyes alone was telling me he was sure with his concrete victory. "....." Words left me, somehow I felt nothing but a sadness. I tried to throw the bonemerang for as weak as I could. The bonemerang spun forward, pierced through the ball of flame, and made a crackling noise when it made a contact with the greeny''s nose. If I must say... my first encounter with the humanoid from this planet was... weird. Chapter 8 My sneak rose to rank 4 and my tracking to rank 1 after spending an hour waiting for the greenies to awake and another hour stalking them. Though, my effort really blooming in a satisfying result. Right now I was standing a dozen meters away from their village. It was completely covered by trees, most of the houses were made from the leaf, while some were made from the wood. Either way, this place was unregistered on the chart.
Scanning the location...
"Hm?" I tilted my head as the blue screen started its scan, even though I didn''t touch anything.

While wondering how much a 100 cosmos credit was. I decided to skip the small detail and pick the equipment as my reward. Once again the screen shifted to another list, this time it was a list of equipment. Rubbing my chin, I kinda wondered why most of the equipment they offered was medieval-ish, such as spear, sword, flail, longbow, leather armour, iron boots and et cetera. Anyway, I decided to pick the leather armour, considering I didn''t have any protection for my body, and iron armour seemed heavy and noisy either.
Unable to send the reward. Please emptied your dimensional storage.
With a sigh and considering I just a few meters away from the greeny village, I head back to the Episoth tree, setting same snare and wire trap before I emptied someplace on my dimensional storage, picked the leather armour as my reward.

Earth''s leaders announcement. To all human coming from the earth. As more human dies for every second passed, the debt levels could be expected to increase. And those increases mean higher interest for the rest of the mankind. Put it all together and it raises questions about how long we will survive, what will happen to the people that stranded on the vague and hostile planet, and what impact it all will have for our future. To overcome this problem, we''ve already made our decision, calculating the victim and offering the remaining survivor the solution. From today onward, all people no matter your age, gender, nationality shall devote yourself and gather 100 cosmos credit each week, the milestone and the victim count will be delivered each day at 1313 Star time. This might be hard and unfair. But together we can pay our debt and go back to the earth! Milestones: 2,692,530 Cosmos Credit. Victim Count: 1,521,262,018.
.... I blankly stared at the emergency announcement, while sighing at the victim count and the number of the milestones we''d gathered. Though... this announcement didn''t make any sense. Even if we managed to gather 100 cosmos credit for each week, it still wouldn''t enough to pay the monthly interest. Albeit sympathetic... somehow I''d just felt this was a scam, yeah... the calculation didn''t match. Then again, it wasn''t like the sender was asking for my money either. Everything that the sender did was reminding us to gather 100 cosmos credit for each week. As I couldn''t sense the sender motive. With a deep long sigh, I closed the announcement. After all, there was a probability this message was true, and somehow I couldn''t help but wonder about my family and friends wellbeing. Then again, from the remaining 5 billion people how the hell we only gathered 2 million cosmos credit. Once again I sighed but after a while, I slapped my own cheek while thinking it was useless to lament about something that still vague. Stretching my body, I climbed down the tree, did a little exercise and checked my traps, only to find a green rat-like creature had gotten itself caught on one of my snares. Even though the real purpose from the snares and wires was keeping me safe at night, maybe I should think this as the bonus. After all, I was unable to rely on the Episoth fruits for much longer. There was no real reason though, I had just bored of eating the same food. And sooner or later, Ineeded to eat meat for the sake of balancing my diet. Scanning the rat, it didn''t have any poison that could be dangerous to me. With a sigh, I started my day by cutting the throat of a green rat-like creature, draining its blood, gutting its stomach, and skinning its skin. This time I didn''t get any code but at least I had the green meat, skin and its bone as my material. Though... I forgot the reason why I searched for a fruit in the first hand. I didn''t know how to start a fire. "Blunder..." I muttered with a dropped shoulder.
