 The Complicated Process

    "I can still hear his shouts in my dreams," Knox said with a blank stare. This was his fifth time getting fired from a job. "Lets end this miserable life," with tears coming down his face, Knox shivered in reluctance as he jumped from a cliff, ending his life.


    He was in a dark room as he looked around, a voice whispered "Do you want a second chance at life, mortal?"


    Shuddering at the question, Knox stood up as he answered, "I don''t need a second life, besides it''ll just end the same way"


    A sudden light poured into the room and a dark figure appeared on a throne. On the throne was a skeleton covered by a cloak. "DAMNED MORTAL, YOU DARE REFUSE MY PROPOSAL?!!"

    "I don''t need your pitiful apologies right now, so let''s get to the point, I want you to be my guinea pig as I send you to another world, who knows? I may send you to heaven if you succeed in this experiment." The skeletons tone showed a slight hint of excitement as he announced those words.


    Knox, considering his options, just nodded in agreement, not wanting to make the mood in the air worse.


    With an exited voice the skeleton said, " If you agree then let''s get started right away! You''ll be put into a vessel that I previously created in that world, you should be the strongest being there by far!"


    Knox stared in disbelief and asked," What should I do in that other world to complete you ''expirement''?"


    "About that, you just need to do me a little favor, yes just a small one."


    "And that is?"


    "You just need to conquer the world and put it under my rule, that''s all I ask of you, very simple task isn''t it?"


    Before Knox could answer back, the skeleton clapped his hands and all that remained, was darkness.

 Chapter 2:Plans

    Knox Pov:


    I woke up in a dark room, and the first things I see are two metal figures bowing to me. I take a look at my body just to see it being covered in thick armor. Looking at myself and the room more intently, I see myself sitting on a throne and a giant tower shield beside me, strapped on my waist was a giant flail with deadly looking spikes.


    "So I really was sent to another world"


    Looking closer at the two bowing figures, I see a slight hint of shine in their armor. Ignoring what I just saw I stood up and walked up to them.


    "Who are you two and why are you bowing?"


    The two metal figures suddenly stood up and saluted, "Sir, we are your knights that were given the duty to guard you!"


    I stared at them dumbfounded, until I snapped back into reality and grew agitated, "I was only given two pawns to work with? How absurd, how can I conquer the world with this?" Love this story? Find the genuine version on the author''s preferred platform and support their work!


    I gave up on complaining after a while and started to expirement, I grabbed the tower shield that was by the throne and lifted it, it was surprisingly light, thinking I had enough power as an individual, I ordered the two pawns to lead me out of the so called "cave."


    When I got outside I realized that my two pawns had golden armor on, if I were to try and conquer a place, their armor would stand out.


    Outside the cave was a forest, there was nothing else, just a forest, it seems this forest is barren of any living creatures...guess this''ll due as my base of operations.  I wondered if there was any civilization nearby, so I ordered one of my pawns to check outside the forest.


    After a few days he came back to report, "So? Did you find anything in your search?"


    "Yes I did my lord, thee should have witnessed it, there is a city, it can serve as your testing grounds my lord!"


    Annoyed by the news, I grew agitated, this is my land, why are they claiming it for themselves? Those selfish creatures, I''ll wipe them out of existence I thought. With my mind being warped by that skeletal God, I was set on claiming everything to be mine.


    First, I sent one of my pawns into the city to become an adventurer, this is another world, there has to be one right? If there wasn''t, I could just make him join the local militia or guards.


    My plan was to gather information from this city, such as how many countries are on this continent and if possible if other continents have been discovered yet. I also wanted to teach those bastards that this was my territory, so I''ll make an example out of them, but I have to be patient, bide my time, until I can strike.

 Chapter 3: The Fruit of Patience

    Knight one Pov:


    I am the loyal knight serving under his majesty, it''s been 4 months since I came into this horrid place, the stench of the living is far to strong. I was tasked with gathering information for his holiness, and I have gathered an efficient amount, if I do say so myself.


    I stand out amongst the adventurers, with my golden armor, I presented myself as ''Salar'' a wandering traveler. Through the past months I have gained the right to being a B-ranked adventurer, the highest rank being S-rank, it will take some time to reach that.


    Throughout my time in this dreadful city, I was forced to deal with the problems of these disgusting creatures, all I got out of this were nicknames that I dreaded. My most known nickname was ''Salar of the Sun'' others include, ''Holy Knight Salar'', ''Angel of light'', and ''Salar of the Heart of Gold''


    These nicknames do me no good, but it does mean something, I will soon decend to A-rank getting access to more information, this will also help out his highness in his quest of conquest, of course I shall be in the middle of that conquest, providing him with every bit of information.


    As I was in the guild, a cloaked man handed me an envelope, I opened it to see myself grow exited, it was time, for me to show my usefulness in this upcoming siege.


    Knox Pov:


    I sent the letter to my first bodyguard and in a few days he should recieve it. In the last 4 months I have been expirementing with my powers. It seems I am the strongest bipedal entity in this world and I was an astounding 10-feet tall, this was a good sign, as I could tower above most of my foes.This story originates from Royal Road.     The thing I tested myself on the most was my magic, I seemed to be above an arch-lich in terms of power, magic, and magic resistance. I seemed to be just floating pieces of armor embued  with magic.


    I started summoning the common skeleton, for my plans to attack the nearby city of ''Del'' as I was told to be the name of it. I summoned a lich so that I could pin the blame of the attack on him while I could move around searching for certain humans that seemed interesting in the fight.


    To make sure I could at least kill a few of the skilled humans, I made a legion of undead, consisting to up to 1000 undead skeletons. I also made a giant skeleton to help in the efforts of the battle, mostly out of curiosity and intimidation though, I also made him accidentally intelligent...so good luck humans.


    I know that the humans will be able to defend though, since all this effort was to raise the status of my guard that was sent to the city. He will accomplish some heroic deeds making him an A-class adventurer after this attack.


    I ordered my forces to attack while I moved near the edge of the forest to get a better view. Accompanied by my second golden guard, we watched as they slowly got out of the forest.


    Castle, Elena''s Pov:


    I am Elena, captain of the guards in the city of Del. I was one of very few people to be ''chosen'' or gifted, I was given the ability to be super strong, crushing any enemy in my way. This earned me the title, ''The Brutal Princess'', which I am not that proud of.


    As I was doing my work, a soldier bursted in, "Captain! I have urgent news!"


    "Then out with it," I coldly replied.


    Yes sir, "It seems a horde of undead are making their way to the city!"


    In that moment, I could hear screams outside, I knew this battle would lead to a few if not a lot of losses.


    "Ready the men, hold your positions, I''ll be out With you in a short while"


    After hearing that, the soldier stumbled outside and started to relay the message in a frantic voice. I cleared my thoughts, it was a while since I bashed some heads, well then let''s begin.
