 prologue: the first step

    I looked at the small ring-like device on my finger, Its smooth black surface shines under the room light. I think back to the time I first got my Dream Ring. I sat outside that hot summer day, waiting for it to come in the mail. I was excited because everyone around me had a Deam Ring. It was the only way to play Expanding stars Online, the best Virtual reality game to ever hit the market. Players could explore the outer reaches of space, create kingdoms, Nations, Empires, conquer planets, become a merchant and trade across the stars.


    You could just go explore the universe, finding new planets and life while getting fame from everyone around you. Become a pirate, a powerful guild master, a gun for hire, a simple soldier or a shop owner on a world where people are cats! Freaking cats! Its so much to do in this game, that almost everyone in the world is playing it. World leaders, Soldiers, CEO''s, classmates, family, even the old couple across the street! Since that day it has been 3 years.


    Three long years of farming and grinding is finally about to pay off. I go on the games main website and order another bundle of building materials. Just like in real life, if players want to construct anything they would need two things. The first is the blueprint to whatever you want to build, and second is the materials required to build that object. After I buy all that I need, I went over and laid down on my bed and closed my eyes.


    " Log on."


    Out of the darkness comes a bright light. It fades and I find myself in my command chair. I know that I am on my ship which is in the Destroyer class of ships. The biggest ships you can currently get in the game. Around me are my personal NPC''s, they are going around doing there assigned tasked. If not for them I wouldnt even be able to run the ship, honestly thats the only way you can even man shps big like this. Well if your not part of a guild or faction.Stolen story; please report.


    If you have enough players you can control big ships like this, mostly guilds have fleets of ships controled by members. where most players would have just one ship at best with a couple of friends to help run it. You can always pay to get off planet or join a faction. Personal NPC''s can be bought on the games website which cost alot of money or you can buy NPC slaves in the market. The resaon why my crew are all NPC"s is because im just a loner and find that other players cause nothing but problems.


    " Lord shields are stable and engines are ready."


    " Lord all ships are ready and waiting for your command."


    I gave a nod " Open communications to all ships."


    If a player was to happen to come across me, they would be shocked. At my command were 5 Destroyer class ships, 5,000 battle ships, 5,000 carriers which housed 3,000 fighters each, and 10,000 crusers. Not even counting the troop transpaort ships and others. My fleet totaled 25,000 ships! the top ranked guild has a 5,000 fleet of crusers and carriers, 4,000 of which is only crusers!


    " Today is our first step and nor will it be our final step! The planet you see before you will be your home. YOU who was casted away and left to die! Today I give you your first step into a brand new world, I have lead you through victory after victory, i have promised you a new home to start over! Now build your dreams with me!"


    My voice echoed into the intercome. Suddenly from everyone on every ship.


    " For the lord who will shadow over all and bring light over all thats shadowed, New order will come!"


    " NEW ORDER!!!"," NEW ORDER!!!"," NEW ORDER!!!"," NEW ORDER!!!"


    There chanting sounded like the marching of a army, I was pleased with all my NPC''s. They are just AI to most people, but to me they are more human then humans.


    " All ships forward!"

 Chapter 1 Perfect satisfaction

    The planet was of a purple shade, giving everyone a dark forbidden feeling. You could see dark clouds swirling across the planet atmosphere with the occasional streak of purple lightning.


    The ship engines roared as we approached the planet. In Expanding Stars Online players could claim land on planets not occupied by the games AI and build bases, but there is a risk in doing so.


    If you were to build a base on an AI-controlled planet or territory you are protected, and your base cannot be easily raided.


    The AI will send in security forces to stop all intruders. But if you were


    to build a base outside AI-controlled space, then you are on your own. There are ways of protecting your base, ways even better than the automatic security in controlled space. But all player bases are in controlled space currently in the game. No player or guild has ever found an uninhabited planet in uncontrolled space, well that is...until today.


    "My lord we are now breaking through the atmoosphere, visuals are coming through."


    I looked on the display screen and could see a black rock like land scape with sharp glossy dark morble like spikes coming from out the ground and the side of mountians. Here or there I could also see


    small feilds of grass and forest. It was truley a beautiful sight that only with the creation of virtural tech could all this be possible.


    "Deploy drones."


    Three small spheres went out from underneth the ship, they could scan the area and send data back to the ship. After about a hour we started to recive imformation back from the drones.


    "Sir we have recived reports from drone Delta, of a hollowed mountain just north east from our curent location."


    After hearing this information I thought this was the most perfect place to start building. I could build my base inside the mountian. hiding it from plan view, maybe even putting a couple of hangers


    on the mountian side.


    "Set course for destination, I want that mountian dugged out and refitted in 3 months time." I said.


    "Yes sir!"


    "Also prepair a personal transport for me, I will be going down as well"


    I made my way to the hanger-bay, At my transport ship I was greeted by 6 NPC''s in black special ops gear. They gave me a salute which was puttung your right hand over the heart. I walked over to the captian of the squad.


    "Captian Zed I trust everything is in order?"


    "Yes my lord we are ready to leave at your ready."


    "Good. I would like to be on sight when the crews land, so I will be in your care captain Zed."


    "Yes sir!"


    I got into the transport ship and we slowly departed fron the destroyer hanger-bay doors slowly picking up spead towards the mountian. It did not take us long to get there at all really, we landed at a samll camp a liitle away from the site.


    Our ship landed and I steped onto the grassy field. The camp was busy with soldiers carrying out diffrent tasks, a fence was already set up around the camp. I walked to the center of the camp where a big black tent was located. I walked in


    and could see a middle aged man standing at a table in the center of the tent. He was bold, with a scar running down from his scalp and across his left eye. This was commander River Song, a NPC i brought from the games website. After buying this guy I was eatting cheese and crakers for about a month. Upon my arrival commander Song stood up.


    "Greetings to the lord." While giving me the standered salute.


    "No need to be so tense Song." I said with a chucke. " You have been by my side for a long time now, just call me Xiler."


    " I could never show such disrespect to our lord."


    I could only sigh at the man, when you buy NPC''s you can change thier personality. For all the NPC''s I have so far I gave them the dicription of a loyal follower who will die for thier master goal, and belives him to even be a god.


    I was just messing around with the settings at first, since having the power to control a person thoughts and actions was a new concept to me. After that it was just a standered setting I put in all my NPC''S that I buy off the games site, and for the NPC"S I get from inside the game, like slaves or criminals. Seems to get brainwashed by the other NPC''S, so now everything has turned into a religous military like cult. So I just went with it and gave it the name New Order.


    " (sigh)...What is the situation of the surrounding area?"


    " We have come in to contact with a strange group of creatures, Four-legged type in nature. They caught some of our scouting teams by surprise but the situation has now become stable. A few have been captured and are being sent to the labs for further study. I think we can get some use out of these creatures."This text was taken from Royal Road.     I was really shocked to hear that this planet was habbitated at all really.


    " Are there any signs of intelligent life?''


    "No sir, just thoes creatures we have found today."


    "Good." I said letting out a breath of relief. If there had indeed been such a case then I would have to wipe them out. I dont like leaving potential threats that could grow and bite me in the ass later.


    " Have you set a Transfer Point yet?"


    " Not yet my lord but soon we will get working on that."


    Transfer Points are set loctions where telaport systems on the ship can lock on to. Its one of the most important functions on any ship. I walked around the camp for awhile and talked to a few captians, by the tiime I was done seeing the whole camp, the transfer point had been seet up.


    " Song you are in charge of the construction operations, I want you to remember that eveything most be done in 3 months. I will be returning to Home World soon. I will put my trust in you once again."


    " Do not worry, your plans will be meet on time my lord."


    I stepped on to the transfer point pad, after a brief shimmer I was back on my Destroyer. I was walking again back to the ships hanger when I hit the button on my communication device. " Tell the admrials to call in."


    "Yes my lord."


    There are 4 admirals in my fleet, They are the clones of commander Song. The only way to tell who was who, was by looking into thier eyes. Commander song the orginal one has hazle eyes, making him look cold and stern.


    The clones eyes went from Blue, Green, Purple, and Yellow each one with a Destroyer class ship at thier command. each admiral has 1,000 battleships, 1,000 carriers, and 2,000 crusers in thier fleet. Not long after I could see thoes four colors stairing at me on my device.


    " I will be going to Home World soon, Take Your fleets and set up a planetary defense system and then set a patrol. Establish ship routs with the logistics team planet side."


    "Yes Father."


    Yet again I find myself sighing. They call me father because I made them way back when I dicovered a cloning technology bluepint during a raid. But I think they call me father in a religious sort of way sometimes too. " Zed you will be coming with me with you team to home World, there are things we need to do." We get to the hanger and board a cruser.


    "My lord may I ask you something?"


    I turn my head to the side to look at Zed. " sure go ahead."


    " Why not just go and destroy all those weak groups you called guilds? We are clearly more poweful then them, so why most we hide."


    I chuckled. " Zed I will tell you a story, there was once a boy who was looked down on by everyone. They would steal his gear and make him a decoy in raids. But there was nothing the boy could do because he was weak, But the boy never complained.


    Then one day in front of the whole world for each and everyone to see, he told a big secret. A secret of a powerful man who was the strongiest in the world. The powerful man and his people caught the boy and dragged him on camera in front of a crowd of people. hundreds of people was watching, That powerful man smirked at the boy and insulted him, had his people beat the boy up. Then the girl who the boy was dating at the time came out of the crowd.


    The boy was worried for her and tried to break free of the people holding him. But unlike what the boy thought, the girl went behind the powerful man, the way she put her arms around the man and how the man naturally lifted his arms up to let her arms slide under, gave the feeling that this was a daily habit of a couple. The boy was confused by her actions. The powerful man turned around and hugged her and then planted a kiss on her lips. The girl smiled and looked back towards the boy. The boy looked back at the girl...no you can say the boy looked back to the memories of his childhood.


    When he would play and follow the girl around, and then to high school where he finally confessed his feelings. He thought of the festivals they went to and the date to the water park. The powerful man was telling the crowd of people how the boy would never leave his girlfriend alone and was jealous of him that she was with him and not the boy.


    Then again to the boy shock, the girl nodded her head. she said she has been dating the man for a while, proving to the crowd with photos of her on dates with the powerful man in different places and cities like Paris. Then the boy remembered that lately the girl would take long trips and tell him she was going to visit a sick relative.


    Things finally clicked for the boy, the crowd was looking at the boy in disgust now thinking everything the boy did until now was out of jealousy. The boy thought how could they be so stupid, he would never go so low. soon the crowd was cursing they boy, the boy looked at all the faces in the crowd and then at the man and finally the girl, he looked at all this and screamed. The scream was so loud and so shocking that it was like a pained dragons roar. The crowd, the man and the girl was shocked in to silence, not a sound could be heard.


    The boy screamed until his voice cracked, out of shock the men holding the boy let him go and he fell down to his kness with his head hung down. Then the boy looked up with a calm expression, but his eyes showed his true emotions. The boy started to speak and said. " I promise all of you...all you, that this day I vow to do eveything in my power.


    To make eveything and everyone suffer in this world. I will not stop until the Yang guild is destroyed and every player regrets for not seeing the truth, because you are just as guilty for sitting there and watching. Today is the day That this boy Becomes everybodys daddy." After that the man smirked and laugh. " Look at this guy, he just wont shut up and say stupid things when his caught." the man said. " Was not going to kill you out of kidness but I think a shit like you needs to restart your charcter." Smilling the man turns to the crowd and asked them what everyone thought.


    People yelled and threw curses at the boy. Soon the boy was killed, satring at the girl the whole time he was being stabbed and burned. Later the event was spread showing the video of the whole thing and even made it into news channels around the world. Some even called out for the release of the boys name, but could not get it because of legall issues. The world labled the boy a scum, never really caring to find out the truth behind things. That was 3 years ago, the world has moved on and forgot. but the boy never did."


    " I still dont understand why sir."


    I looked calmly into to Zed eye''s. " Everything most be perfect...I dont want nobody getting away....I want everything and everyone to suffer along with me Zed, I want to be the one laughing at the crowd, I want to judge the world and look down on it as tissue stuck to my shoe. I want thoes to suffer and the others to feel helpless as I once did, do you understand now Zed....I want perfect satisfaction."


    " Yes sir i understand...." I couldnt help but feel a cold shiver run up my body after the lord words, his dark cloak was hiding half his face. but I could still feel his cold eyes staring at me. " Prepair for space warp to Home World."


    I can only feel but pity for thoes fools who unleashed this monster on to themselves.

 chapter 2 A flashy entrance

    ¡° Sir we are coming out of warp now.¡± In front of us was a beautiful green and blue planet, with three continents. ¡°Homeworld¡± was the starting planet for players, here they would join a clan/guild and pick a faction. Each continent was ruled by a game faction, the largest continent located in the center giving it the name ¡°central continent¡± is ruled by the ¡°Gracious Empire¡±. known for its powerful and large army and also religious faith to the god of prosperity and love Talium. The top ranked clan, The ¡°Yang Clan¡± is located here.


    The second largest continent to the west is ruled by the ¡°United kingdom''s of Zorin¡±. Governed by a council of 5 kings, they came together to form a alliance against the ever growing gracious empire. The ¡°Dancing in the Moonlight¡± clan is located here, who is one of the other clans in the game that can rival the yang clan but still fall short, landing them as the second top rank clan in the game.


    Lastly is the east smallest continent out of the three. Ruled by the ¡°Florium Empire¡± who is equal to the Gracious Empire in military power despite its small size. Located here is the third top ranked clan ¡° Blades Retribution¡±.


    Each faction had their own fleets and controlled the air space over their respected lands. The reason the factions do not expand into outer space is because the lack of planets in the solar system, and because the resources needed to send a fleet just to search for a valuable planet. That they may or may not find in the great expanse of space, they could waste years and give a perfect time for their enemies to strike.


    ¡° Take us over the eastern ocean, then head towards the Florium Empire . we will go to Dirium port.¡±


    Dirium port was Floriums largest ship port, Bringing in traders and all walks of life from all over. Pretty soon we come near the port and get radioed from the ports control tower.


    ### This is officer Grant of the Florium Empire royal navy, please identify your ship or we will be forced to use military action. You have fifteen seconds to comply, I repeat this ¡­..###


    I responded to the transmission. ¡° This is ID: ALPHA_ORIAN_NEW_ALPHA_OSIRIS_ORDER_PROJECT_CLEAN UP.¡± there was a small pause over the radio.


    ### For the lord who will shadow over all and bring light over all that is shadowed. New order will rise....please land on pad eight my lord.###


    I smirked to myself and closed the transmission channel. Soon we landed and was preparing to disembark when I called over Zed and his men. I gave them black cloaks with hoods, and silver masks. The masks were smooth without openings, only having a red painted eye covering the center.


    ¡° Have your men put on these clothes, we will walk through the city and meet up with the ground team at our base of operations here.¡± Switching out the cloak i was wearing, I now had on a red smooth mask with a black painted eye covering up the middle center. My cloak was white with a giant red painted eye on the back.


    Zed and his men took positions around me, putting me in the center of the group. When we left the cruiser people gazes were already on us. Not many people owned a cruiser, it was only a privilege for the military, nobles, powerful clans, or wealthy merchants. As we made our way into the inner city i started to take in the environment. The air was festive and people was rushing along the street. Food and merchant stands lined the sides of the street and people was going in and out of shops. A mixture of sounds and smells took over the city. People would move from out of our way, looking at us curiously whispering to the people beside them.This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road.     I listened to the comments and smiled, I wonder what would happen if they found out I was that guy on the news years ago. We continued down the street when a group of players blocked our path. A guy with a navy blue military uniform stepped out in front of the group. I started to hear people around me.


    ¡° Uh-oh its Clinging Frog from Blades Retribution, think he is going to use his clans name to bully another player again?¡±


    ¡° He is such a fucking scumbag.¡±


    ¡° That guy better watch out if he knows what''s good for him.¡±


    The man known as Clinging Frog started to speak. ¡° Hey you, you must be new around here. Am I right?


    ¡° yeah. So what?¡± I said. Him and his buddies started to laugh and snicker.


    ¡° Well since your new I''ll tell you the rules around here, new players must pay five hundred creds for tax purposes. But being a generous guy I am, I will take only one hundred creds. This is very generous of me.


    ¡°Tch.¡± I scoffed at this man. Everything he said was obviously bull shit, even the people in the crowd knew it was bull shit.


    ¡° Hmmm, did you hear me? Or do you take my nice gesture as a joke?¡±


    I smirked. ¡°Only a fool will waste time talking to shit, Zed clear out the trash in front of me.¡±


    ¡° Yes my Lord.¡± Zed and his men started to move.


    ¡° You Fucker do you really want to go against the Blades!¡±


    From the cloak sleeves of my men red energy blades slided out, giving them a ruthless cold look. Zed and his men has been highly trained to fight one versus three against Gracious imperial guard. What could these players do to my men but give them a small stretch exercise. It didn''t take long for zed and his men to finish off Clinging Frog and his group.


    ¡° Sorry for the delay my lord, the road is clear of all trash.¡±


    ¡° Thank you Zed, let us continue.¡± The people around us was shocked at what they had seen, some even forgot to close their mouths.

    I loved the attention right now, but I needed to stay focus on why im here. After awhile we came to a church, engraved on the door was a eye. Outside fifty people stood and upon seeing me they all bowed. Soon we was in the church. It was beautifully decorated and furnished. We walked to the back of the builds to a large elevator. Guarding the elevator was two armed guards who saluted me. Getting onto the elevator we took it down to the basement floor and got out, we walked out into a large room or should I say bedroom. On a silk covered bed laid a women bounded in chains. Her smooth brown hair laid down on her shoulders, dancing with her slender figure as she moved to turn around. Her skin was a beautiful clean chestnut color and her piercing green eyes only added more charm to her. Hearing people come in she sat up.


    ¡° Who are you? And the fuck do you people want?¡±


    I chuckled slightly and someone brought in a chair for me to sit in. ¡°hello, I can not tell you who I am so I am sorry I can not answer your first question. But as for your second question these people are my people, I do hope they have been treating you nicely here.¡±


    ¡° What do you want from me? I am just a low noble coming here for the festival. Why did you kill my guards and kidnap me?¡±


    ¡° Well Ms. Luciela Evergreen 2nd princess and second daughter to his royal majesty emperor Valan Evergreen.¡± as soon as I said them words she clenched her teeth and tightened her hand on the bed sheets. ¡° I have a lot of things I want for you.¡± I said smiling. ¡° And for your wonderful help I will think about sparing you life. How does that sound?¡± My laughter sounded throughout the room, echoing of the walls. Giving a slight chill to the princess and my guards in the room.

 chapter 3 Power source

    I was amazed at how the game could make NPC¡¯s so life like. I could feel the hatred coming from princess Lucila as if she was more human than data. The developers wanted Expanding Stars to be as realistic as possible, there was no levels or stats in the game. If you wanted power you had to work hard and grind for it. The NPC¡¯S was so realistic that some players started to fall in love with them.


    There are those who still treat NPC¡¯s as just computer data, but I see my NPC¡¯s no different than another player sometimes. Sitting in front of the princess, I could not help but admire how human like she was. I got up to leave but before walking out I turned my head back towards the princess. ¡° I know that you think I will not get away with this, but I will and that I can assure you.¡±


    Going back up the elevator I was escorted to a room, like the church it was beautifully decorated and furnished. I sat down at the head of a conference table placed in the middle of the room. Zed took out a folder and placed it in front of me.


    ¡° My lord here are the latest reports, The Emperor has increased the search for his daughter and has asked the help of clans. Promising a reward for any clues or the safe return of his daughter. But I assure my lord the team has left no clues. Also all our people are in place for tomorrow''s festival.¡± Zed said.


    I shifted through the reports and nodded my head as I read. Then I saw something that made me frown. ¡°It says here that security was increased at the palace, will this be a problem in the operation tomorrow?¡± I said looking at Zed. He took a moment to think before saying.


    ¡°I can not say for sure my lord...but it is not something that will stop the final outcome.¡± I thought for a little bit and nodded my head in agreement. Nothing can stop the final outcome now that we had the princess. Once we are inside the palace, I will be one step closer. A little while later I was back in the main part of the church. I was standing behind a podium overlooking about fifty people or so. They were all NPC¡¯s I recruited over the years. I sighed to myself, because I was still going along with this cult thing. I raised my arms up above my head and spoke. ¡°Tomorrow is yet another step we will take, you have traveled a long journey with me. You have come through many hardships for a chance to get back at the world, and I thank you...many may not make it ...but I also know you do not fear death! Soon we will wage a war that this world will not forget. We will wage a war of our hatred...my hatred. Now it seems we have a mouse among us.¡±


    A man was dragged out of the crowd by four others. He was then forced down on his knees in front of me. The man on his knees looked up at me. ¡°You will never get away with what your about to do! The emperor already has his eyes on your little cult!¡± the young man said.


    I walked down from where I was until I was in front of him. I cupped my hand under his chin and moved my lips towards his ear. ¡°You think I do not know i''m being watched...you silly child. What makes this even more laughable is that we are being watched for the wrong reason!¡± Of course the ruler of a land will keep tabs on a strange organization that popped out from nowhere, it''s only natural. The government still did not know our true intentions so this man threat was not a concern to me. What was a concern, was having him here any longer. I do not want him to notify anyone about our movements. After the man was dragged away and dealt with, i gave the order for everyone else to return and get ready for tomorrow.


    Sam POV


    Today was the day of the festival. Celebrating one hundred years since the empire was founded. The street was crowded with people, and cheers could be heard as the parade went by. I have been playing ESO since it first hit the shelves. I started in the Florium Empire faction and joined the army, thinking I would be a great hero on the battlefield. ¡°Sigh.¡± I couldn''t help but let out breath. Instead of epic tales I could brag about to my friends at school, I became a regular city guard.     Today me and a couple of NPC¡¯s was guarding the side of the road to help separate the people from the passing parade. It was a hot day and my arms was stiff from keeping people back. ¡°I  just want to go to the pub.¡± I said. Then I felt a pull on my arm, I looked down to see a small girl.


    ¡°Um excuse me sir what time is it?¡± she said.


    I looked at my watch and it said 9:59am. I told the little girl the time and she thanked me. What a cute kid I thought. Then I notice she was still here. ¡°Do you need something else?¡± I said.  All of a sudden the ground trembled and screams started to fill the air. Clouds of black smoke could be seen raising in the air, then there was more explosions followed by more black smoke. People were running trying to get away, pushing each other out of the others way. ¡°What the fuck is going on!?¡± I said. I could hear rapid orders and report in my ear from my communication device.


    ¡°The time for his shadow and his light is finally here.¡± said the girl.


    I turned towards her. ¡°Huh what did you say?¡± I said. But when I looked at the little girl, she had her arm stretched out as if welcoming someone to a hug. Her smile was welcoming but her eyes seem to be looking somewhere far away. That is when I noticed the green wire sticking out of her shirt.


    ¡°Oh fu.¡± was all I could say before a bright light and a system notification.


    > You have died. After 29 days you will be able to enter the game. We hope you had a wonderful experience!<


    I stared at the prompt for a minute. ¡°What the fuck just happened!?¡±


    Smoke filled the air and shouts could be heard all around. Soldiers was trying to get the situation under control but could not because of the amount of people. Out of the crowd people in cloaks and masks started to attack the soldiers.


    ¡°Enemy attack!¡± someone shouted before being shot and crumpling to the ground. All of a sudden the soldiers found themselves outnumbered and dying one by one. Guards from the palace came out to hold the attackers back while reinforcements arrive. The men in masks broke through the outer defences of the palace and made it inside but this did not come without many sacrifices. Government officials ran for cover, because as the saying went. Bullets do not have no name on them. Pretty soon the attackers made it to the palace treasury only to be stopped by a door.


    ¡°It is time for you to be of some use now my dear lucila.¡± Xiler said with a smile.


    Soon two people with masks dragged out a young woman who was being protected in the middle of the group. They threw her onto the floor in front of the door making the chains on her arms clang on the marble floor. She turned her head sharply at me but I could not help but chuckle at her adorable defiant gaze. ¡°Do it now or more people will die outside¡± I said. You could see the inner struggle on her face before she came to a decision. She got up and walked to the doors, placing her hands on it. There was a vibration in the air as a powerful energy began to form, soon the doors let out a long creek before opening. The princess seemed tired and a shade lighter. ¡°Good.¡± I said.


    She coldly looked at me before saying. ¡°All this death over some credits, you disgust me.¡±


    I was amused by what she said. ¡°My dear, dear lucila. You think behind these doors is some mer credits.¡± I laughed. She gave me a confused look.


    ¡°What else could it be she?¡± she said.


    Some men walked into the room pass the doors and came back holding a black box. ¡°My lord.¡± the man said giving me the box. I opened it to find a pink crystal that brightly lit up the room, showing the world its luster. I picked up the crystal and held it up in my hand. ¡°This small crystal can power half this planet...Isn''t it beautiful lucila. Can you imagine the power within this crystal was to be used as a weapon?¡± I said. Lucila looked in horror at what this could mean. But before she could say anything. ¡°To bad im not going to use it as a weapon¡± i said. Now the princess has a confused look on her face.


    ¡°Then what will you use it for?¡± she said. Before I could answer another voice spoke up behind us.


    ¡°Yes what will you use it for young man? The voice asked in curiosity.


    Lucila suddenly lit up. ¡°Father!¡± I turned to see a man with the same chestnut skin and green eyes like lucila. His hair was dreaded and so was his beard. Behind him stood at least one hundred soldiers, all aiming their guns at us. We was sadly outnumbered this time.

 chapter 4 Party Crasher

    I put the crystal back into the box and closed it. I made a small chuckle and turned to face the old man. ¡°What pleasure do I owe a visit from the emperor Valan Evergreen.¡± I said taking a small bow. The room was tense, everyone picking out their targets. Emperor Evergreen looked at me with a salome face. ¡°Boy if you know what is good for you, you will realise my daughter and surrender, but what will you do with that crystal in your hand child? I am curious to know the reason why so many of my people had to die today.¡± you could hear rage behind his words, but I calmly stood there not phased at all by his threat or the amount of troops present. I smiled and said. ¡°Now what would be the fun in telling you how the game ends when it only just begun. Now you will let us go or¡­¡± I pulled out a small plasma pistol from my sleeve and aimed it at Lucila. ¡° your daughter will suffer for your hesitation.¡±


    ¡°Lucila!¡± Evergreen shouted. He was furious, I could see he was making a worrying expression while his men tighten their hand around their weapons. The emperor''s face was filled with anger. ¡°Let her go now or die!¡± a cold light flashed in my eyes. ¡°Tch.¡± I said and pulled the trigger. There was a high pitched scream, Lucila was now on the ground clutching her leg. Blood started to soak through her dress. ¡°You bastard!¡± Evergreen said. ¡°Let..me..through or...she...dies.¡± I said slowly while putting the barrel to her temple. Emperor Evergreen looked at his daughter and sighed. ¡°All men stand down.¡± very orderly the soldiers put down their guns. I picked up the princess off the floor. ¡°Everyone lets move!¡± I said walking while still having the gun pointed at the princess. The soldiers made a path for our group towards the doors. The only noise was the steps of our feet and the small breaths of the princess. The emperor followed right behind us, all the way until we was out of the palace.


    ¡°Now let my daughter go!¡±  Evergreen said. My group stopped, in front of us or should I say above us was a fighter drone. Its large mounted gun pointed at me as a red dot played across my forehead. ¡° You can not escape, so let my daughter go and surrender. You can not get out of this one child, that drone will shoot you way before you can pull that trigger. And if you don''t want all your men to die here, you will do what''s best. I looked at the smooth round disk like drone. I did not want to do this here but I guess had no choice. Energy started to gather around me while I focused. Inside my body shockingly there was the same crystal growing out of my heart. NPC¡¯s in the game had a natural power they could use which made fighting them trickey, but only NPC¡¯s with a special status in the game could have a power. Even then it was still rare for a NPC to have a natural power like lucila. I was able to do this through the crystal in my body and a year of experiments done on myself. As energy started to gather around me it great waves lucile took notice. ¡°That''s impossible...you, you can use the world''s power? She said with shocked eyes. People with who could use power could feel its energy, as to why I could feel the energy vibrations when lucila opened the doors back in the palace.


    ¡°Shocking is it not my dear lucila, you was always taught that the world power can only be held by pure people with a pure heart, but clearly I am the devil! I laughed loudly as my cloak starte to whip and flutter. The drone started to crumple in on itself until there was an explosion. From the smoke flew out my cruiser, landing in front of us and opening its doors. My men started to bored the ship with the crystal. I placed my hand over Lucila leg, after I sent some power into it, it was healed. On the other side Emperor Evergreen was trying to process what happened, that''s when one of his soldiers noticed I was alone with the princess now and my gun was nowhere to be seen. This young man made a run for me. ¡°Die! ¡° When Evergreen saw this he shouted. ¡°STOP YOU FOOL!¡± but it was to late. I lifted my hand up and felt the natural power around me, the man who was running found himself lifting off the ground. An invisible force closed around his neck cutting off his breath. The man struggled kicking in the air while holding his throat, veins popped out the side of his neck has he tried to strain for breath. Soon the mans wild movements started to slow, and then stopped entirely, his body dropped to the ground. It was quite, no one made a sound. I walked towards the ships doors when I turned back to look at the emperor. ¡°It was a pleasure to meet you Emperor Evergreen, but there are plans to make and people to kill.¡± I turned towards the princess. ¡°It was fun dear princess, but I find you very interesting. Well no matter, run along to dear old dad. And with that I bid you all a farewell.¡± I said waving the Emperor, princess, soldiers, bystanders, and the dead soldier I killed.     The ship lifted up into the air and started to fly away, not long after it was two florium fighter jets in pursuit.


    The jets and cruiser danced in the sky over the city, causing players and residents to look up from below. Soon the cruiser was heading towards the walls of the city. Normally the walls would only have the standard patrol and security as it would any other day. But because of the festival and the emperor''s visit, mounted on the walls were large air defense rail guns. Has the cruisers and fighter jets danced toward the walls. The railguns started to turn and take aim.


    In a control room officer grant was looking on an monitor. You could see two royal florium fighter jets shooting at a cruiser.


    ¡°Sir all guns are charged and ready to fire.¡± a man sitting at the monitors controls said. If you was to look around the control room, you would find the dead bodies of the control room staff. All shot  with a surprised look on their faces, forever asking why before they died. Never truly knowing the events leading up towards their death. Officer grant to could hear the incoming messages of the pilots in those fighters , asking why they are showing to be targeted. Grant looked at the monitor. ¡°Fire.¡± on the screen you could see the railguns light up and then two burst of flames behind the escaping cruiser, which made it over the wall. Banging was coming from the sealed control room doors. So another message came through but this time it was from the cruiser.


    ##Good work, the lord has safely left. Your mission is complete agent 21 and 22.##


    Officer Grant and the man at the controls sighed in relief.

    Nodding officer Grant pointed his gun at agent 22, agent 22 smiled at his friend. Putting the gun in his mouth, helping grant squeeze the trigger. Grant watched as his friend for more then 17 years die and crumble to the floor. The banging on the door only became more harder. ¡°It won''t be much longer now.¡± Grant said looking at the door. Digging into his pocket to get out a small device with a button. So the door was busted down letting in a platoon of armed soldiers. Grant turned his head to the side, his smile creepily stretched from ear to ear showing his small white teeth. ¡°I am but a small gear in this plan¡± Grant said laughing before pushing the button. There was a great flash of heat, after a while the light died down and you could only see the twisted metal of what was once a control room. The same white flash could be seen back at the church xiler stayed, leaving only ruins. The bodies of the dead attackers started to hiss and burn. Melting on the streets leaving puddles of black.

 Chapter 5 Day One

    On the game forums, videos started to pop up of the events that happened in the Florium Empire. The videos showed a classic parade, people cheering and waving at the performers. Then you would notice a person walking up to the line of soldiers asking a question, next that person would say something that made the soldier look confused. Then BOOM!. The person would explode killing the people around them. Screams and panic spread through the crowd while other explosions went off in different parts of the parade. The Florium military lived up to its name and immediately scrambled to action, trying to take control of the situation. That''s when people in masks and cloaks started their slaughter, attacking from the crowds killing residents, players, and soldiers alike. Nobody safe.


    The recording went off as the player recording it was killed, next a different video played showing the cratered streets and dead florium soldiers and mysterious attackers on the streets mixed in with the unlucky residents and players that could not find cover in time. The camera turned towards more sounds of explosions, catching the player off guard. In the distance you could see fighting going on down the street at the mayor''s palace. Soon the camera turned as if something grabbed the players attention. Coming from the opposite end of the street was a hundred soldiers it looked like. Leading at the front was the Emperor himself! What was emperor Evergreen doing here? He should be in the capital city right? This shocked countless players. Some of the soldiers blocked off the area while the emperor and the rest headed for the palace. The player recording was forced back and the video was shut off.


    Next another video from the player before started to play. A large fighter drone flew over the player head and towards the palace gates. The camera zoomed in to show a large crowd. One group was the emperor and his soldiers and the other was the mysterious group that attacked the city. In front of the masked cloaked group was a man..no..a player! Who was holding a women. It was Princess Lucila! Who was said to went missing after being attacked. So that means this mysterious group did it! The drone aimed its gun at the player who seemed to be the leader. Next a soldier near the player recording shouted enemy aircraft, causing the camera to turn on a cruiser heading for the palace then there was an explosion. The camera turned around to see the drone crashing to the ground, burning in a ball of flame and smoke. You could not see the two groups anymore through the drone wreckage, the soldiers threatened the player to leave the area. Next was a series of videos of a cruiser being chased by two fighters throughout the city skies.


    The video ended, the world was sent into an uproar. Who was that player and masked group? News stations scrambled inside the game to get more details. It didn''t take long for information about the group to appear. A user by the name MeowMeow posted on the games forum.


    MeowMeow: so everyone is wondering who these group of people are? I am a merchant in the game, and in my travels I have seen these group of masked men before. A year ago I was approached by this group. I was in the Gracious Empire at the time, so with this it can be said that this organization is in other continents too. Anyway they asked to buy a large order of hydro food, which we all know is used if your going to be in outer obit for a long period of time. They ordered enough food for 50,000 people. It was the biggest sale in my career. Through other merchants I heard of similar transactions. Building material, power cores, weapons, drones, slaves. It was nothing they did not buy. I learned all this months after my transaction, then they disappeared as quickly as they came. Pretty soon l learned they are a cult called New Order. They only recently popped up. But what''s strange is that a few days after the meeting, I was approached by an imperial investigation officer. He asked if I made a transaction with any masked men, I answered him honestly for I did not want to get in trouble. Next all he asked was what they brought from me, after I told him he thanked me and gave me a few credits then left. So this means the games government has noticed this group. What''s even scarier is that everyone who sold these people anything was approached by some form of government official. Who ever this New Order group is, they are up to something. I do not know if this is a player based group because each sale was done by NPC¡¯s.     Soon the post blew up and became the most shared topic in the world, many comments and ideas was shared with the post but not many people knew much more.


    Xiler slowly opened his eyes, he stretched his body as it felt stiff from lying down to long. Xiler headed towards the shower getting ready for school. After a light breakfast Xiler headed down stairs, greeting him was a row of men and bowing. ¡°Morning boos!¡± they yelled. This did not phase Xiler as he was used to this. Heading towards the door there was a man dressed in a black suit. ¡°Good morning young master.¡± the man said. ¡°Are you ready for your first day back at school?¡± In response to the man Xiler just nodded his head and proceed to the car outside.


    In the car the man sat in front of Xiler with a smile on his face. Xiler had his hand under his chin looking out the window. ¡°Do I really need to go back to highschool Victor?¡± Xiler said. Victor shook his. ¡°Why of course young master, your father may have sent you over here to run this branch but he still expects you to get a education.¡±  Xiler frowned after hearing victors words. He could see his father now say. ¡°High School is where men are born! If I did not go to High school then how would I know what the true pleasures of a women was! AHAHAHAHAH!¡± Xiler subconsciously rubbed his back, remembering his father''s habit of patting his back when he laughed.


    ¡°By the way young master, it seems another batch of weapons was stolen from one of warehouses last night.¡± hearing this xilers eyes turned cold. ¡°Do we know who is behind it?¡± Xiler said. ¡°As of right now..no. but we have a lead.¡± Victor said reassuringly. Soon the car pulled up in front of the school building. ¡°Have a good day young master.¡± victor said laughing, knowing Xiler was upset. Xiler got out of the car and sighed. ¡°Let''s get this over with.¡±


    I started to walk with the crowds of students heading inside. You could see students meeting up with their friends before the bell rings, laughing and talking about some subject. Soon students had started to move inside for the bell was about to ring. Xiler took a piece of paper out of his pocket. It said for Xiler to head towards the principles office when he arrived, leaving instructions on how to get there. After asking around Xiler found his way to the principal''s office and knocked on the door.  ¡°Come in.¡± A voice on the other side said. I opened the door and saw a old man with white hair and a white beard sitting behind a desk. ¡°Ah you must be the new student , come in take a seat.¡± I shut the door and took a seat. The old man looked at me with a smile on his face. ¡±Welcome to Shaw Academy young man I am principle Henderson nice to meet you.¡±He said shaking my hand over the desk. ¡° As you know we are the top rated school in the country, and only accept the elites of society. So when your father called me, and told me his son will be coming I was all but excited! Now young man I will say this now and only once¡­.I do not like trouble that would ruin the reputation of this school. Do we understand each other? ¡±  The principle gave me a stern look. I nodded my head in understanding so I could hurry up and get out of the room. The old man nodded in satisfaction. ¡°Good. now you will be in class 1A starting to today so hurry along to class.¡±


    I said thank you to the old man and walked out of his office. Finally finding my way to the classroom I knocked on the door and walked in. as I opened the door a fist flew towards my face, and my instincts kicked in. grabbing the hand I used the attackers momentum to twist their arm, while using it to also swing their body to the wall beside me. Pinning the figure to the wall raising their arm behind their back.


    That''s when a voice behind me shouted. ¡°Nanami that''s not luke!¡± seeing as there was some misunderstanding I let the attacker go. Turns out the attacker was a female student named Nanami, she had long smooth brown hair and a light skin tone. Her eyes was a fierce blue as she stared daggers at me. ¡°What''s your problem?!¡± Nanami said. I looked at her for a second  and sucked my teeth. ¡°Tch. I was only trying not to get hit.¡± suddenly there was a kick coming for the side of my face, but I had already seen it coming. Casually blocking the side if my face with my arm. ¡°Humphf. You got skill.¡± I said. This seemed to piss Nanami off. The class room was silent as everyone watched are exchange. Nanami seemed like she was about to do something else when the door to the classroom opened. ¡°Ok class take your seats. Nanami whatever you was doing can stop now.¡±  Nanami blew out a puff of air and stomped to her seat leaving me at the front of the class with the teacher. The teacher was a slim man with a buzzcut, he was taller than me reaching 6¡¯8. ¡°Ah you must be the new student! Welcome! My name is Mr.Unima it''s nice to meet you.¡± he said patting my back. The class studied me, I could hear some girls saying I was cute. ¡°Would you please introduce yourself for the class?¡±


    ¡°Sure.¡± I said. And stood to where the whole class could see me. ¡°My name is Xiler Tazami, it is nice to meet you.¡±

 Chapter 6 Night assult

    The class went on after my introduction. The teacher was talking about the history of the empire and the long war that engulfed the world blah blah blah. ¡°Sigh.¡± I just wanted to return back to the game as soon as possible. After the whole thing three years ago, I moved and started traveling while helping my father. I was still upset after what happened and devoted myself to getting revenge in the game, but then when I was in the middle of killing a couple of pirates in the game, I realized something. What was the point of all this? Doing all this gathering and running around for what? Because I got my pride hurt? What will I do after I destroy the Yang clan? I became lost after that, I became bored of the game at that point. Do not get me wrong I still wanted my revenge, but I kept asking myself all these questions. Soon that''s when it hit me! If the Yang clan wanted to make me the enemy in front of the world, then I will be the enemy of the world! My goal became bigger and grander, and I started to develop my own faction in the game. I could not trust other players so it would be a faction of NPC¡¯s. I was going to be the first player antagonist in gaming history, so after helping father he sent me back home.


    I looked to the side to catch that girl giving me a mean stare from across the classroom. I smiled at her and she turned around. Usually I would have someone who looked at me like that killed but seeing how I can not do anything like that on school grounds I could only feel disappointed. The day was pretty much me learning the layout of the school and introducing myself, I was glad when the final bell sounded to go home. I headed out the front doors and saw Victor waiting by the car, he saw me approaching and opened the door. ¡°How was your first day young master?¡± He said with a mocking smile. ¡°Time wasting.¡± I said and entered the car. The car started to move and pretty soon we was on the main road. I stared out the window looking at the people and buildings as we went by. ¡°Victor, where are we going?¡±


    Victor nodded his head in response. ¡°You are right young master. It seems we found out who attacked or wearhouse and I thought you would like to be present in the operation.¡± I was very pleased that we was actually going somewhere fun for a change but torn because the game seemed more interesting right now. The car moved through traffic and off the main road. After about a hour or so we arrived at an shipping dock. By this time it was getting late but activity could still be heard inside the area. We parked near some old buildings away from the shipyard, soon black SUV¡¯s started to show up. Each full with men in combat gear and carrying an assault rifle. Victor went over the plan while I just stood there and watched, it was a pretty good plan and well thought of.


    My people started to make their move, heading for the front entrance. There was a loud explosion then the sound of gunfire filled the night air. I could hear screams and shots coming from over the wall that surrounded the place. The assault continued for another ten minutes before everything started to die down. I was escorted through dead bodies sprawled out on the ground. Soon we came to a office building, as I walked inside I could see a man tied to a chair all beaten up and blooded. Victor was wiping his hands with a cloth. ¡°Tell us who do you work for and this will stop.¡± Victor said.


    The man response was to spit in Victor face, he was whacked by the butt of a gun from the guard beside him. ¡°I thought information gathering was your forte¡± I said walking over chuckling. I came closer to the man and bent over a little to stare into his eyes. ¡°Knife.¡± I said while reaching out my hand. One of my men took a knife out his boot and placed it in my hand. I placed the knife on the man face and slowly ran it down his cheek. ¡°You know what I hate most about you right now? It is that look in your eyes. It tells me that you are insulting me inside that little head of yours, I do not like being insulted. You remind me of that bitch from school today.¡± I said. I pulled out his bottom lip and placed the knife against the man gums, slowly cutting across them. The man made painful grunts try to move his head back, but my men firmly held his head for me. I cut the gums until you could see the more hidden parts of his teeth, blood had now made a small pool in his lip I pulled out. ¡°You see I am very upset that things was stolen from me, and I hate beating around the bush. So I am going to tell you how this is going to play out.¡± while talking I had forced the knife between his teeth, breaking them. So I could get the knife deeper into his mouth. ¡°You can tell me who you work for and I can leave you half dead, or you can just die. Now I understand that you might work for some scary people and that they might kill you blah blah blah but, if I kill you and do not get what I want. Then I will remove your head and fingers and locate your family. And from your finger and that ring on it. it seem that you do care about someone. Well I will find that person and do the same thing to them as I am doing to you. If you have kids I will also do the same.     The man eyes started to show some fear, he was shaking from the pain. ¡°I will tell...I will tell you.¡± The man said struggling. ¡°It was the Tama family..they..they heard of some group moving into the city and caught wind of some goods they had. Thinking it was a easy target we was ordered to take it.¡± Taking a napkin from Victor to wipe my hand i smiled at the man. ¡°See that was not so hard now was it? All that pain for just them few words. Beat this man but do not kill him.¡± I said. ¡°But young master, should we kill him instead. What if he went back and told this Tama family.¡± Victor said while taking the blooded napkin away from me. ¡°That is exactly what I want, this will get them to come to us then us coming to them. Plus this will give me some time to play the game, now let''s clean up and go home.


    After finally getting home, I ate dinner and went up to my room. I once again logged back into the game. I was sitting in the command chair and Zed greeted me. ¡°Welcome back my lord.¡± I gave him a small nod in response. ¡°What''s our location currently?¡± I asked. ¡°Currently we are in orbit, some of the thrusters was damaged during our escape so we stopped for repairs.¡± Zed said. Now that we had safely escaped, it was time to carry out the rest of the plan. ¡°Get someone to transport the crystal back to base. Also I have read some of the reports coming in about those creatures we encountered. Have some sent this way to help with the next operation. Next tell all agents to make their move, since what we did won''t take long to spread to others ears.¡± I said giving rapid orders to zed. ¡°Right away my lord.¡± and zed gave a salute before going to to take care of those tasks. Now i just had to decide where should my next course of action be. My eyes roamed across HomeWorld, right now my agents was making their move across the entire game. I should focus my attention to the players first then slowly draw in the NPC factions into the mix. Turning on my communication device. ¡°Zed tell agents to focus on guild/clans and the strongholds they have captured, but to still monitor the government''s movements.¡± after telling Zed this I walked back towards my chair and sat down.


    I opened up my video recorder and hit record. You could see me with my robes and mask still on. ¡°My name...well my name is not important, what is important is that I am responsible for the attack in Florium..Why I did it you might ask, well you will see the answer to that later. I want to say this to all the players of ESO. I am coming for you, I have been in the dark watching you...My threat to you is real¡­.do not laugh my words off or you will regret not taking them seriously, and if you think your guild or clan is untouchable...then you are a fool. I have finally decided to stop watching from the shadows. Now my shadow will cover you.¡± I ended the video there and sent it to be edited outside of the game so it can look more better.     Hey guys, so let me tell you guys what¡¯s been going. I have been busting my butt with school trying to finish up for the department of labor to come certify me. And I have been looking for a job. So that¡¯s been holding me up. Buuut on top of all that my neighbor WiFi got cut off. Lol yes I use my neighbors WiFi.  Chapter 7 The first Hill

    Pretty soon a new video popped up on the forum. It instantly blew up and caused the world to once again go into an uproar. Many guilds held meetings in response to the video and mostly laughed it of as some player looking for attention, so did most people laying the game. For the top ranked guilds and clans it was a serious matter that could not be overlooked even slightly. They knew that this mysterious organization was powerful enough to infiltrate inside the games main governments, but to not know about this group until now is what really troubled the various guild masters. Now with this video being released they couldn¡¯t help but ask more questions, who is the man in the mask?, what is this group goal?, and what will they do next?


    Xiler was now back at his planet over seeing the rest of the construction. The entire mountain was reinforced with trillium alloy, and a giant hanger bay was carved in its side. Ships was going in and out of it, carrying out their assigned missions. At the bottom of the mountain was a huge door that was open allowing vehicles to go in and out. Outside of the doors was a couple of buildings and barracks, troops were marching orderly in formation. Around this compound was a high wall mounted with turrets and kinds of defenses, also small teams would patrol the walls. The purple sky gave off the feeling that something evil was going on. This is what Xiler thought to himself as he headed inside. Through the giant doors and a few blockades, they stepped out of the vehicle and entered a elevator. The elevator went down to the deepest part of the mountain and opened up to a white coated lab. Xiler and his party continued out of the elevator and further into the facility. Around them was glass windows into various rooms. In one room you could see the creatures Xilers men had encountered when they first got here. Only this time the creatures were standing with a group of Soldiers.


    The soldiers and the creatures looked to be training together. They did drills in a makeshift environment and had the creatures attack dummies in the set up building in the room. Xiler continued to the next room.


    In the next room was a man tied to a chair looking at a bunch of screens of xiler face, The screen would quickly switch to other images. People in lab coats was watching the man and taking down notes.


    At the end of the hall a door opened in front of Xiler, and out stepped a chubby man. His belly would jiggle with every movement and his white lab coat was stained with dried blood. The man hair was all frizzle, and the glasses on his face was cracked. Xiler smiled. ¡°Dr. Locknile we meet again.¡± Taking his hand to shake them. Xiler continued. ¡°Ah dear doctor I have heard about your wonderful progress with those creatures. I have seen how far you have came and I am most pleased indeed! So dear doctor I was wondering if you had any more surprises.¡±


    Dr. Locknile gave a little jump in the air and grabbed xiler hands. ¡°Oh yes, yes, yes! I have much more! Many more! Please come and I¡¯ll show you my lord.¡± Xiler smiled. ¡°Then please doctor lead the way, but um...do you mind letting my and go first?¡± Gun barrels were pointed at Locknile Head, red lasers dotted the man''s forehead. Doctor locknile started to sweat. ¡°Oh may! Forgive me my lord! I..I was to excited.¡± Xiler noodled his head. ¡°I understand, so please lead on.¡± Doctor locknile went on and led Xiler around the labs and showing off different projects. At the end Xiler greatly complimented doctor locknile and his achievements to New Order. After this Xiler left and went back to the elevator. The elevator opened and Xiler walked into the control room. People were sitting at monitor stations, and a blue hologram of the planet was floating in the middle of the room. You could see the real time positions and movements of everybody on the hologram, you could even see the positions of the fleets in orbit. Zed hooded and talked in his communication device. The blue hologram switched to show HomeWorld, on it you could see small red circles start to grow all over the map. I sat there and watched the hologram of HomeWorld. ¡°Let''s start the event.¡±


    Back on HomeWorld a great change was occurring.

    ShiningSun was the guildmaster of SunBlazers, which was ranked 15th on the guild rankings. ShiningSun was in his office looking through some papers when someone barged into his room. ¡°The fuck! You scared the hell out of me! Do you want to die!¡± ShiningSun screamed. The player was scared but he still continued. ¡°Boss we are under attack!¡± ShiningSun got even more angry after hearing this. ¡°Who the fuck dares to mess with SunBlazers! They must want die! They must truly not care indeed!¡± SunBlazers headed out his office and outside. He could see people running and crowding up the. Over ShiningSun Head fighters zoomed over in a neat V formation. Displaying a red sun symbol on the sides of the aircrafts. SunBlazres is not ranked 15th on the guild rankings for nothing, they had the power to back it up.


    ShiningSun sun made it onto the wall and looked out. In the horizon you could see fighters heading this way while escorting troop transport ships. ShiningSun asked in chat if they identified the guild attacking but in response he got a no. ¡°What are you fools standing around for! Do your damn Jobs! Move it people!¡± Everyone scrambled after hearing ShiningSun words. More fighters started to lift of the ground and join the friends in the air. ShiningSun went around yelling. ¡°Most of those transport ships will land so gear your asses up! We are SunBlazers so show these fucks who they are dealing with!¡± It was this time with both sides fighters started to engage in the skies. The enemy¡¯s slick jet black fighters had a otherworldly design to them. Purple lights glowing from their engines and other compartments as they danced with the fighters of SunBlazers. The evening sky was lit with purple and red streaks zipping across the sky. Explosions sounded as the transport ships shot out pods onto the SunBlazers base. The pods doors slammed down, cause the dirt and dust on the ground to create a thick smoke. Teams got in formation to confront the troops that were about to emerge from the smoke. ¡°Let¡¯s show these fuckers what it means to mess with SunBlazers!¡± Said ShiningSun. ¡°YEAH!!!¡± Cheered the crowd. ShiningSun was just about to give the command to engage.

 Chapter 8 The first Hill (final)

    Out of the dust cloud emerged a giant worm like creature. It¡¯s mouth opened as it showed rows of sharp jagged teeth. The giant worm looked down at ShiningSun and his men.


    ¡°SCREEECH!!!!¡±


    ShiningSun looked on in horror, as more of these monsters emerged from the other pods. ¡°Holy...what is that!¡± Someone yelled in the group. Nobody had time to answer that person question, because that when the worm made its move. It plunged towards ShiningSun and his group. ¡°Scatter!¡± ShiningSun yelled and dodged to the side. The worm swallowed a couple of unlucky people who didn¡¯t get out of the way fast enough, it burrowed underground and popped up a few meters away targeting another group of players. ShiningSun had never heard of something like this but he didn¡¯t have the time to figure where these things had come from. ¡°How long until the System sends in a security force.?¡á?¡± ShiningSun asked. ¡°Sir, they should be here three hours at most.¡± ShiningSun clenched his jaw. ¡°Fuck!¡± The ground trembled constantly from the worms going in and out of the ground. ShiningSun split everyone into teams off one hundred. There was five worms in total. ShiningSun plan was to focus down the worms while the rest engaged the enemy troops, at least until the security forces come. Three hours was a long time and anything could happen.


    In the first hour, ShiningSun plan seemed to be working, the teams made an encirclement around there target and focused fired at the worm. If the worm tried to go underground to escape, then a squadron of fighter would fly by and bomb the area. Causing the worm to resurface. So far they had killed three out of the five warms. So ShiningSun sent one of the teams to help another team deal with the worm, while he sent the remaining two to the frontline to help deal with the enemy troops. They were becoming more of a problem then the worms. They were dressed out in black gear and had on helmets that covers their face, it looked really high tech. I was Inside the command center, listening to the reports come in one after another. The good news was that we killed the last remaining worm so we had more troops to use, but the bad news is the enemy troops broke through another line of defense.


    ¡°Can¡¯t you guys figure out who the fuck these people are!¡± I yelled at my team.


    ¡°Boss we have tried, but it seems these people came out of nowhere.¡± Somebody said. It was already past the two hour mark, from the progress the enemy was making. They would have breached inside the building before the security forces could get here. Just as ShiningSun was thinking of another plan someone shouted.

    ¡°What is it Treestump?¡± I asked. Treestump has been in the guild since it started, and I have been friends with him for a long time in real life also.     I closed out the forums to try and wrap my head around everything. It seems that guilds all over are being attached but not every single one. Just some small sized ones and some decent medium sized guilds. None of the top ten has been touched but word is they are starting to move troops around just in case, no one has come out and claimed responsibility for this attack...well at least not yet at least.


    ¡°Sir the enemy has broken through the last line!¡± Somebody shouted bringing ShiningSun out of his thoughts. ¡°Fuck me, prepare to engage the enemy in the halls!¡± I shouted. I could hear gunshots and screams. Teams ran past me heading towards the enemy.


    ¡°The security forces are here! The enemy is retreating!¡±


    I smiled at the news, they got here thirty minutes early. ¡°Do a check to see how many got a game over. You, you, and you follow me.¡± I said heading out the door. We got outside to see the system security forces, or the empires troops you might as well say land and disembarked. A cruiser overhead was blasting g out and open message. ##surrender and lay down your weapons or we will shoot to kill.##


    The enemy troops did not listen and continued to retreat back to their ships. The ships started to lift of the ground and fly away. Some of the enemy troops did not make it in time, so they immediately turned around and started shooting only to be quickly shoot down. The area turned peaceful. A man dressed in a military uniform came up to me. ¡°Are the one who has ownership of this land?¡± He asked. I looked at him and told him yes and that I was very thankful for the help. He gave me a nod and said it was his duty and to not forget to always pay the security fee. He the. Turned around and was ordering his men to leave.


    ¡°Wait!¡± I said. ¡°What if they come back?¡± The man turned around and gave me a sigh. ¡°I¡¯m sorry but we are getting reports of attacks all over, we have no time to stick around.¡± And with that the man turned and got into a ship.


    Later more details about the attacks was released. In each continent some small guilds and clans had been attacked. Some was even destroyed before security forces came. The decent sized guilds and clans made it through but still took casualties. It was more of the easy small sized guilds that was attacked in this more than it was anyone else. The attacks happened randomly across the continent so every small guild was not attacked, just those who was unfortunate. Some big guilds did get attacked like the SunBlazers Guild for example. Videos of their fight blew up like crazy on the forums. The big top three guilds was not touched at all, which made everyone else think this was a some kind of plot. Some thought this was an event by the game and others thought it was that mysterious group New Order, but majority of the people thought it to be the plot of the three top guilds. Looking to finally take over their respective continent, taking out the small fry so they can not band together. A lot of rumors floated about and this made the news again.


    The game was slowly changing and people felt a great storm was coming. Who would come out of it, nobody knew. But in game and outside of it, forces started to move.

    ¡°Well we got about 30 stiffs, all had guns. From what we can tell, they were shooting towards the front entrance. That¡¯s where we found most of the bullet casings.¡±

I couldn¡¯t help but think of the quest when I first got the crystal. I was still deciding on what I should do, when I was in some old ruins on Jara. Jara was always my favorite planet, a little more less advanced than HomeWorld but had the most unique theme...magic. HomeWorld is more about science and guns, and ships, But Jara is more about magic, and fantasy. They had ships to but it was more powered through magic then science. My quest was normal at first, Just clear out the old ruins of monsters and submit it to the the adventures guild.


    I cleared the monsters but I ended up falling through the floor on my way back, landing in a big chamber. On a podium was a box much like the one in the palace, and that¡¯s when I discovered the crystal. Taking it back to my ship a studied the crystal, I then set up a small base in the woods to study it even more. I found that this could give of powerful energy and do amazing things. But most importantly is that this was just a piece of a whole. I don¡¯t know the backstory of this crystal, but a plan started to form in my head.


    I finally knew what I wanted to do. Another crazy idea at the time came into my head, what if I could somehow fuse this crystal to my body? I would be able to use the world power that some NPC¡¯s use! Making my plan a lot more possible to pull off. After a year of experimenting I finally found a way to fuse the crystal inside me. Then I felt this calling...I could sense another crystal.


    The bell to end lunch brought me back out of my memories. The group that was talking about the game had gotten up to leave, moving on to a different conversation. I got up as well. ¡°Sigh...more math.¡± I felt like jumping out the window.


    POV: Head of the Tama family Jin Tama


    So your saying a young man, killed my people and tortured you?


    ¡°Yes...yes Mr.Tama.¡±


    I looked and the man standing at the end of my desk. ¡°Somebody come kill this man.¡± Immediately two men In suits dragged the screaming man out. I did not have time for storytelling, right now the police was covering the docks like ants. And had to be ready for there questioning. Then there was knock on my door.

This was good news for the future, I couldn¡¯t just keep spending money to buy NPC¡¯s and slaves. And they ones that die don¡¯t get to come back. So this is a shortcut I am happy to have come across.


    Beside me was Zed as usual, giving off that I can kill you with anything type feel. I smiled and asked him what was on my schedule for today.

    Now that Zed mentioned it, I have not officially claimed to have discovered this planet yet. I just ignored the system pop up asking if I wish to do so. In the room and on the ship monitors above the atmosphere, where crews gathered to watch the broadcast. I stood behind the podium with a eye engraved at the front.

They died serving me...I can not help but respect them. You all know our goal. To bring everyone to their knees, to bring New Order upon this world!     They gaming community went crazy! No one has discovered a planet in uncontrolled space since the game came out. Now some mysterious player has, and not only that. This player belongs to the mysterious group who has been causing waves recently.


    As the system message finished I turned back towards the crowd. ¡°Today is the start of a nightmare, soon people will try to come and hurt us, but we a prepared for them.¡± I gave a nod to Locknile who in turn pushed some buttons on a computer. Behind me showed a live display of the planet. When the crews on the ships above the planet saw this they rushed to the windows. At the deepest part of the base, almost near the planet core. You could see the crystal from the palace hovering in the air surrounded by machines. It started to glow and rotate making a low high pitch hum. A beam shot through a hole at the top of the mountain, the beam broke through the atmosphere and entered another hole built into the planetary defense system. The planetary defense system or PDS, was two rings around the plant. The rings gave off a purple electric charge as it started to form a pulsating shield over the planet. The ship crew looked on In amazement.


    Back in the assembly hall everyone looked at the screen with the same eyes of amazement. Some people wept and others prayed. They yelled father and started to chant as I walked off the stage. That small crystal not only powered the shield but all the weapons on the PDS, the base, and defenses. But it could do much more than this, I just need more time. All that was left was a meeting with commander Song.


    I meet song at the barracks, he was standing in front a platoon of troops. He saw me land and headed over with his aids. We shook hands and greeted each other as we walked over to inspect the troops. Standing tall in their black full body suits, they looked impressive. They would die for the objective and only had loyalty to me. After a small tournament between teams and their captains. Which was fighting to the last man. Song and I meet In His office to discuss further matters. I still remember when I first bought Song from the games store. Father was mad and wouldn¡¯t let me eat nothing but cheese and crackers. I still shiver at the sight of cheese. ¡°So song what did you want to meet about?¡± I said curiously.


    Song sighed, he opened his desk drawer and pulled out a stack of photos. I reached a grabbed them. It showed one of or soldiers. Casual looking guy, black hair. Young, maybe 24 years old. I looked at Song. ¡°What about this man?¡±


    ¡°My lord...this Soldier name is Tragsten. He was part of the special ops forces until he died during the Atlantis mission.¡±


    I remember the Atlantis mission, it was back on Jara when I was first starting out. Atlantis was a city state that was ahead in magical research and could be on equal footing with HomeWorld technology wise. They produced a special kind of metal that I needed for my ships. The metal could withstand long distance warping. It is how I am able to warp from Alpha to HomeWorld without having to stop. If you tried to warp long distances, the metal in normally made ships would twist and compress inside the warp tunnel, killing you and all aboard. That is why players would normally warp 4 to 7 times to reach a long distance location. You don¡¯t want to be in the warp tunnel to long, but the Atlantis metal changed that.


    They discovered a formula that if mixed with metal could make it very capable of long distance warp. The mission was for 6 teams of special forces to storm the research center and kill the head scientist who created the formula and destroy all records and staff who knew anything about the research. Everything went accordingly until one of the teams got discovered by a player who worked at the research center. We got everything done, but some sacrifices had to be made. ¡°So what about this soldier then, I don¡¯t understand?¡±


    Song reached back into his drawer and pulled out some more pictures. It was the same soldier but this time instead of his uniform, he had on regular looking clothes riding in a carriage. It was being escorted by Gracious military.

 Chapter 11 fathers lies

    The gracious empire was a land of prosperity. The capital streets were bustling with people and players. The crowded market was overtaken by shouts from merchants selling their wares and the laughter of players on their way to do a quest. Above the city sitting on the tallest hill, stood the imperial palace. It''s majestic might loomed over the citizens. Reminding them that gracious emperor is protecting over them.


    In the imperial palace three men stood in the throne room. To be more exact, one man sat on a throne while two men stood in front of him. The emperor of gracious looked at me from his throne, his eyes stared down on me. Deep and blue like a clear ocean, just by looking into them one could tell that a great amount of wisdom was lurking beneath their depths. I remember when I first meet this man¡­I had just completed a mission for father, but I was shot in the chaos of things. My body rolled of the bridge and fell into the ocean below, that''s when a merchant found me and sold me off to some slavers. They took me from planet to planet until we ended up on HomeWorld, players would look at me and shake their head in disappointment. Going on about how they couldn''t purchase me, how I was already owned.


    Since the players couldn''t buy me, the slavers sold me to the Coliseum to fight for the nobles entertainment. Because I was trained in fathers army, my opponents where nothing but garbage. Because of the skills I showed I caught the eye of a young man, who I would later find out is the young prince of gracious. He came to my cell and told me his name was Khalid and that he was interested in making me his bodyguard. I refused, the only man I will protect is my father.  Chapter 12 Food Fight

    BAM! Xiler slammed his fists on the table. ¡±We are so close to be fucking up right now!¡± Xiler took in a deep breath and closed his eyes to calm himself down. ¡±can we send in a team?¡± Xiler asked with his eyes still closed.


    ¡±No¡­.Gracious capital is heavily guarded, and if we were to use our men placed inside the palace, they would surely be exposed and it would set us back.¡±

    I was honestly surprised. They were going to do nothing, even though I attacked a system city. A lot of real-world companies use the game for business. A lot had stores set up in florium that was destroyed during the attack belonged to real-world companies. Some companies even started to back guilds and clans financially, but probably took a loss in the recent attacks.

The mall was packed and busy as usual. I went to a couple of stores and then sat down in the food court for some lunch. I could not help but notice some of my classmates from school.


    They were walking together laughing at something as they went inside a store. I started to look around more.


    I could see a lot of people my age hanging out with friends or sitting down with a girlfriend. I thought back to a time when I had friends, how they quickly were bought out to betray me. How they screamed when I pulled out their fingernails and cried when I stapled them back on over and over again. I could not help but smile when I was remembering that. The couple only reminded me of her¡­

 Chapter 13 Ill just take the next one

    He punched straight out towards my face. The punch was predictable so I slightly moved my head. His fist flew past my cheek missing me completely, his face was confused that his hit didn''t connect. I took advantage of that moment and grabbed his arm, flipping him onto the table.


    Big Joe crashed onto the table spilling food everywhere. The tabled couldn''t support the amount of force and broke.


    Everyone in the food court had their mouths open. They thought the young man was going to lose to Big Joe, but who would have thought that the young man would be so strong.


    Big Joe got up with a grunt. ¡±Big mistake bitch.¡±


    Suddenly the two other guys charged up to me, throwing out punches and kicks. I grabbed stink arm and twisted it while moving behind him.

    Darnell came from my side, but I saw him coming. I threw Stink into him and they both fell over some tables, sending the occupants scrambling away.


    Not a moment after Big Joe ran up and tackled me into the wall pinning me there. Pain shot up through my back, as my breath escaped out.


    ¡±AcCKKkK¡± Spit flew out and dribbled down my chin. I started to slam down my elbow on top of his head repeatedly.


    Big Joe let out a roar and lifted me off the cracked drywall, he started to charge towards the railings looking over the lower floor of the mall. Because my body''s was blocking his view he couldn''t see.


    Still, I was viciously slamming my elbow on his head until we crashed into the railing. Pain again shot up into my back but this time it was more in my lower back. The bar was digging into my spine.


    The railing let out a creak and gave away, me and Big Joe fell through falling towards the floor below.


    People looked up as two men fell from off the third floor. A woman screamed and others ran, as the broken pieces of the railing also came crashing down. Barely missing a group of people.


    I and big Joe was sprawled out onto the floor, I got up shaking a little from the pain in my back and the numbness I felt from falling onto the floor. I stumbled my way to Big Joe who was also starting to get up and move.


    I lashed out my hand and chopped his throat. Suddenly Big Joe couldn''t breathe and brought his hands towards his neck.


    I followed up with grabbing his leg and slamming him back towards the ground. He Let out a gasp as the air was knocked back in him.


    Spinning around onto his body while still holding his leg, I broke it with a snap as I dislocated it out its socket.

    Getting up while rubbing my back I walked out of the crowd, who made a path for me. I got to the elevator and pushed the button.


    I saw the number go from floor three to floor two, and the doors open with a ding. Two men were standing inside, they looked at me and I looked at them.

    Stink and Darnell grabbed me and pulled me in, the elevator doors shutting behind me.


    I broke out and kicked Stink away then punched Darnell with my free arm, Stink came back and threw a kick.


    I dodged to the side and kicked his other leg, he dropped to his knee and I slammed his head on the elevator wall lighting up a couple of buttons. Darnell came from behind and put me in a choke hold.


    I stretched my arms but I couldn''t reach him, I grabbed onto his arm trying to pull it away from my neck. At this time stink got over his daze and started to get up.


    He got up and started throwing punches at my stomach.


    The elevator doors opened and a group of teens, as they stared in shock as a man was being held and punched In The stomach. The elevator doors closed.


    I threw my head back hitting Darnell in the nose, making him stumble back. While at the same time lifting both my feet off the ground, kicking Stink in the chest knocking him away.


    I dropped back down bending over, flipping Darnell over me and crashing on top of Stink.


    The elevator doors open, and two police officers looked at me in shock and then to Stink and Darnell.


    ¡±Come on! Really!?¡±


    Both police officers charged into the elevator and the doors closed.


    The first officer slammed me to the back of the elevator pinning me there, while the other went to check on the two guys on the floor.

    Her partner came and threw me off, he was about to punch me but he missed. Hitting his hand on the wall.


    At this time Darnell and Stink woke up, stink being faster threw a punch out towards me. I ducked and punched his side.


    ¡±Stop!¡± The female officer yelled and tried to restrain Stink. But he quickly recovered and threw her to the side.


    The male officer pushed stink forward into the wall, while Darnel threw a punch at me. He hit me in my face three times before I caught his first and kicked him back.


    The female officer grabbed me from behind and put me in a chokehold as she let out a tired grunt.


    The male officer was fighting it out with stink on the other side. While Darnell recovered and came at me. He started punching my stomach as the female officer had me in a chokehold.


    ¡±Can¡­...you...please¡­..let...me..go.,¡± I said straining my voice out my throat.


    The elevator doors opened to a group of shocked teens, the same group of shocked teens as before.


    They stared in shock as the same man from earlier was being punched in the stomach, but this time a police officer was holding him while the guy who was holding him earlier, was now punching him. And the guy punching him earlier was fighting another officer?


    The group stared open-mouthed as someone from the group stretched out and hit the close doors button.


    Using the same trick as before, I knocked my head back and hit the officer in her nose. Causing her to stumble back. While at the same time I lifted both feet off the ground and kicked Darnell to the wall.


    Landing back on the ground, I bent over. Flipping the female officer over me and onto Darnell.


    Stink and the male officer seeing their partners in trouble stopped fighting and charger towards me.


    I kicked out, getting Stink in his knee. While at the same time the male officer drew his nightstick form out its holster and swung it at me.


    I caught the officers arm and used my other hand to hit and bend his arm upwards.


    *CCccAaACKKk*


    ¡±AHHH!¡±


    The officer screamed and fell to the ground clutching his arm.


    Not missing a beat I grabbed stink head who was kneeling on the ground because of his knee. I slammed my knee into his face causing him to fall back onto the ground.


    I caught my breath and fixed my clothes and hair. The elevator doors opened and I walked out leaving the moaning occupants inside.


    Someone foot was caught outside the elevator doors, causing them to open and close.


    Walking through the gathering crowd, it made it to the main entrance and walked out. Police cars and sirens greeted me as cars screeched in the parking lot. Officers rushed past me and into the mall.


    ¡±Sigh how am I going to deal with this.¡± I thought out loud. I knew it wouldn''t be long before the police come knocking at my door. But I wasn''t worried about that, I was the one being attacked even if I did attack those officers. What I was thinking about was if I should pay one of my classmates a visit.

    I pulled out a small scalpel and held it up towards the light. I frowned as I pulled a long strain of brown hair from of the blade.


    ¡±HeHe well this isn''t mine,¡± I said, flicking the strain of hair on the man''s face. I grabbed the man''s hand.


    ¡±you know what I have always wondered?¡± I said cutting the skin beside the man''s fingernail. His skin curled up as if you were peeling a potato.

    ¡±I have always wondered, what would happen if someone had a hangnail¡­.¡±


    The man was shaking his arms, his other hand was desperately trying to move. Tugging and pulling on the straps, wanting to stop what I was doing to the other hand.


    ¡±How would it feel if it was just pulled all the way up?¡±


    I stopped cutting and grabbed the peeled up skin on his finger. The tip of his finger was bloody. The man breath was heavy as his chest was rising up and down.


    ¡±Please...please stop this.¡± the man face was scrunched up. I guess he could feel that stinging sensation when one gets a hangnail.


    I pulled his skin from his finger, it followed up his hand and then towards his arm. It felt like I was ripping a rubber band in half down the middle, stretching it out. You could also say it was like pulling string from off a shirt.


    The man rocked back and forth in his chair.


    ¡±AACKckKKhHh!¡±


    The skin was pulled out all the way towards his neck now. The skin was curled up in my hands, as blood pooled on his arm.

    I grabbed the man from under his chin and squeezed his face. ¡± I am NO MONSTER! RIGHT NOW I AM YOUR GOD!


    I took the scalpel and stabbed it under the kneecap.

    I wiggled the scalpel causing a bigger opening. Blood flowed down the leg, every time I grabbed it. It made a wet slapping sloshing sound.

    ¡±What was that?¡±


    ¡±I have a family.¡± the man said weakly.

    ¡±I think I see your bone?¡± I said. I pulled out some scissors from my bag and started cutting down the flesh in the way.

    I looked up to see the man had passed out.


    ¡±you know when I was very small, my favorite activity in school was cutting and pasting. Hearing the crisp sound the paper made when the scissor blade would cut into it was somehow soothing.¡±


    I looked up at .the man who still had his eyes closed.


    ¡±but as I got older I found the sound of muscle tissue being cut is a lot more soothing than paper.

    Later that night a car pulled up in front of a brightly lit building. Out of the car stepped out a handsome young man, dressed in a black slim fit suit. he caught the attention of a few young ladies who smiled in his direction before giggling off.


    Xiler smiled and headed inside the casino.


    The casino was packed with people, gambling away their money. Slot machines chimed, and the flutter of cards could be heard around the room as dealers dealt out cards.


    I walked around a bit to get the layout of the room before I went over to join a table. I played a couple of rounds of blackjack, correction...I won a couple of rounds of blackjack. I guess I really was lucky tonight. A crowd had formed around me watching me play. I was up to $100,000 dollars when I decided to bet it all. Some people thought I was crazy and shook their heads, they thought I should''ve have walked away with the money I had. Others gasped and held their breath.


    I caught the attention of a few guards who slowly moved their way over.


    ¡±Sir are you sure this is your finale bet?¡± the dealer asked.


    ¡±Yes.¡±


    He dealt me my cards.


    ¡±Hit me.¡±


    ¡±18,¡± the dealer said. ¡±would you like to call it.¡±


    ¡±No got me again.¡±


    Someone in the crowd yelled. ¡±just call it you idiot!¡±


    ¡±Sir?¡±


    ¡±Continue,¡± I said.


    The dealer grabbed the card from on top of the deck.


    ¡±3..Blackjack.¡±


    The crowd went crazy and cheered, they applauded my win. I took my winnings and left the table.


    ¡±Sir could you come with us please.¡±


    I turned around and smiled.

 Chapter 15 I could feel it.

    They took me to a room on the second floor. I could see the casino downstairs through a large one-way mirror. They told me to stay put and closed the doors behind them. After a while, the door opened.


    ¡±My, my, my, who would have thought that the new student would be caught cheating at a casino?¡±


    ¡±you call it cheating, I call it beating the game.¡±


    ¡±You are funny xiler, but this is my establishment and it has rules I am afraid. One being counting cards is prohibited.¡±

    I stood up and slammed my hands on the desk between us.

    Along stillness descended upon the room. Only the muffled sounds of the people downstairs could be heard.

    Both of Nanami checks were red. She looked at me with a surprised shock on her face. It was as if her brain was still trying to comprehend what had just happened.

    Nanami looked up from the ground with a vicious look in her eyes.


    ¡±GUARDS!!!!¡± she screamed.


    Two large men came bursting through the door. They saw Nanami laying on the drew out their pistols. I took the stapler off the desk and threw it at one of the guards.

    The stapler hit the guard in the forehead, causing him to drop his gun. The other guard started shooting as started to run across the room. I could hear the bullets hitting random things behind me.     Glassing shattered and sparkled down to the floor below. People looked up in surprise as I came falling down. I rolled forward when I hit the ground and started running. The guard came to the broken mirror and started firing from up above. People screamed and started to rush out of the casino. I grabbed a dealer from one of the tables and used her as a shield.


    I could feel her body shake as the bullets hit. I threw the dead body away and ducked behind a turned over table.


    More guards started to show up, I could hear their feet on the other side of the table as they drew near. Taken some chips on the ground, I threw them into the air. The guards moved their heads so the chips wouldn''t hit their faces.


    I Didn''t give them chance to recover, I hoped over the tabled and dashed towards them.


    The guard in front saw me and pointed his gun out, but it was too late. I grabbed his hand and pointed it up towards the roof.


    *BANG! BANG!*


    I snapped his risk back.


    *CCRrraaackkKK!*


    ¡±AHHH!¡±


    I took the gun out his hand and pushed him away, at the same time I turned around and fired.


    ¡±BANG!¡±


    A guard had come up behind me. He flew back and crashed into some chairs.


    Someone from the side kicked the gun out of my hand, they then kicked twice towards my face. They missed each time and I grabbed their leg. I took my foot and slammed it on their other knee cracking it.


    ¡±This way!¡±


    I turned to look to see the police was entering the building. I saw a gun on the ground and grabbed it. I started shooting at the lights. Hearing shots the police ducked behind cover.


    The casino was mostly dark now. I made my way back to the office, but Nanami was already gone.


    Later that night I returned back home, the first thing I did when I got back was to check if the game was still updating. Sadly it was so I decided to get some sleep.


    The next day I was reading some of the new changes coming with the games update when I heard a knock on my door.


    ¡±young master two detectives are downstairs, they wish to speak with you.¡±


    Getting up from the computer I made my way downstairs and greeted the two detectives.


    ¡±Ah, good morning detectives,¡± I said shaking their hands. ¡±To what pleasure do I owe you two a visit this fine morning.¡±


    ¡±Ahem yes, my name is detective Ronhouse and this is my partner detective Hence. We are here to ask you a couple of questions, are your parents, home?¡±


    ¡±No, it''s just little old me, not counting the staff of course. Father is overseas handling business., and my mother died sadly.¡±


    ¡±I am so sorry to hear that, anyway as I have said we would like to ask you a couple of questions.¡±


    ¡±Ah yes, please have a seat.¡±


    I gestured for them to sit down in the living room, and got one of the staff to bring us some coffee.


    ¡±We are investigating an incident that occurred at the mall. Two police officers engaged Four other suspects in a physical altercation. The two officers came out with minor injuries, nothing life-threatening. As for the suspects, three are in custody.¡±


    Detective Hence reached into his pocket to take out his phone, on the phone he played a video of me fighting in the food court. The next video he played was me leaving out of the elevator as the police rushed inside.


    ¡±Before you ask, yes that is me in the video. I do however want to say, is that those three men attacked me. Which you can probably see from the footage you have.¡±


    ¡±We are not here to arrest you.¡± Mr. Hence said. ¡±We would like to know why did these people attack you and why you did not report it.¡±


    ¡±Well as you can see Mr. Hence, I think I defended myself pretty well. I felt that any further action would be a waste of everybody time.¡±


    ¡±well, that still doesn''t explain why they would attack you.¡±


    ¡±Maybe this is connected to my father somehow. You don''t get all off this and not make a few enemies along the way.¡± I said pointing out the staff and lavish lifestyle around me.¡±


    ¡±That could very well be the case, but tell me¡­ Why would the three goons who work for the Tama crime family, say they were hired to teach you a lesson.¡± Detective Ronhouse said while drinking a sip from his coffee.


    ¡±As I said before, could be a matter related to my father.¡±


    ¡±I think you are lying to us.¡±

    We all looked at each other. The seconds felt like minutes as the ticking sound from the clock on the wall was the only noise in the room.


    ¡±Well, I guess we should be going, thank you for your time.¡± The detectives got up from the chair.


    ¡±It was no problem at all detectives, can someone show or guests out please.¡±


    I watched the detectives leave from out the window. A rumble of thunder shuddered in the sky.


    POV: Detective Ronhouse


    I could tell the kid in front of me was hiding something, but I needed to hurry and meet my contact for the Tama case. After saying our goodbye, we walked down the long walkway from the house.


    ¡±I don''t trust that kid Hence, something is really off about him.¡±


    ¡±Ah you are just thinking into things too much, he ain''t nothing but some rich kid all alone.¡±


    ¡±So why would the Tama family send some people after this kid, or doesn''t add up. He is involved somehow, I can feel it.¡±

    hey guys. Sorry about not posting, a lot is going on at the moment. So here is a run down of things. After thanksgiving work has been hectic, and on top of that my grandfather got sick, sooo I didn¡¯t feel like writing honestly. Just didn¡¯t feel up for it. They say his doing better but we will see in a couple of days.


    now this is what I need your guys opinion on. A friend of mine came to me a few days ago, and asked if I could help with making a series. He wants to make this website where we post short stories and yada yada yada blah blah blah. My friend is really good at computers and coding, and I am the creative artistic one. So I said yeah. So now we are in the middle of getting a team together.     So as for this story, which is what we all care about right lol. I don¡¯t want to drop it cause I like the story,  but time is not on my side.     The book is called  ¡±otherworldly evil monarch ¡± young assassin (transferred or reincarnated. Don''t know which one to use) to another world, where martial arts rain supreme. He doesn''t care what people think and will live life how he see fit. Even if he must kill anyone in his way.


    This was close to evil as I could get out there. This story mc is evil but he does have a soft spot for family. Yes there is kinda a harem. But it''s not like other harems. Trust me I hate harem stories. But this one don''t shove it down your mouth. A lot of hype moments in the story, you know that feeling you get when the mc about to do something badass so you can''t wait to get to the next chapter. But when you hit next you get a meme. Anyway it has moments that make u burst out laughing. 500+ chapters so this should keep you busy.
