I jump off my bed and notice that it is already 8:45, so I quickly run to the washroom and brush my teeth and wash my face. Afterwards I quickly get dressed and grab my bag before rushing to the kitchen and making a quick sandwhich to munch on before leaving my house. I quickly start running towards my school in hopes that I won''t be late, but before I can even run for a minute, the ground starts cracking everywhere around me. I notice that it is not just around me, but is actually everywhere I can see that is cracking. Everybody starts panicking and trying to escape the cracks, my included, sadly we failed. The cracks split into large gorges, swallowing everyone and sending them on a one way trip to the dark, dark depths. I quickly lose my consciousness during the fall. ... ... ... Ugh! Pain! My whole body is racked by pain, spreading to each and every part of my body I can feel! I force myself to open my eyes, and what I see stuns me. I can see a pure black and evil looking rocky ceiling, the walls are also all pure black aswell. Wait, shouldn''t I be dead? I fell into that deep gorge, there is no way I survived that. [Allow me to answer that for you. Your world was devoured, so to say. Meaning it no longer exists. Every life form has been swallowed by this world, which is called Vorna. Vorna is around 40 times the size of your world, Earth. Every person and animal that was on Earth, has been reincarnated, you could say, on Vorna.] Woah! Scared the shit out of me! Weird... screen? So I really did die, I just... reincarnated? [Indeed. Every single lifeform on Earth has truly died. They were just given life again, by the Creator. I won''t tell you anything about the Creator, as you will find out yourself if you get strong enough. Anyways, everybody on Earth has been reincarnated as a new lifeform. Some can be humans, other would be demi-humans, demons, elves, and so on. Some unlucky ones might be reincarnated as Magic Beasts or Demon Beasts.] Oh... So this world is a fantasy one... Got it. This world is made up of many different continents. First is the human continent called Maldar. There are billions of humans living on Maldar, with multiple kingdoms, empires and countless towns and cities. The second continent is the demi-human continent called Hagra. There are all types of demi-humans, such as cat, dog, fox, wolf, bird, tiger, bear, and so on. Each type of demi-human is split into their own part of this continent, rather than living together. Next is the Elf continent called Forgor. Elves are a good race that will only attack people if they intrude on their territory, so there is barely any wars, so they all live as one, split into a few cities. Next is the Demon continent called Drada. There are all types of demons, but they are basically categorized into Lesser Demons, Middle Demons and High Demons. Lesser Demons are just stupid. They only follow their instincts and can barely think for themselves. Middle Demons have basic intelligence, like that of a 8 year old child. High Demons have intelligence that surpases average humans, so they are always strong. Drada is the second largest continent, after Maldar. There are millions of demons on it, possibly billions. Demons are always fighting eachother, and also love to kill humans to eat. Next is the Ocean continent. It has all the races that live in the water, like merfolk and such. They rarely leave the ocean, so not much is known about them.] Okay... This world seems interesting, I guess. Oh yeah, you said that everybody on Earth reincarnated here right? Can you tell me what races they were turned into? Mine aswell. [Sure. Most of the people reincarnated from Earth were still humans, I would say about 45% of them. 15% were turned into Elves, another 15% were turned into Demi-Humans. 10% were turned into Merfolk. 9% were turned into Magic Beasts or Demon Beasts and the remaining 6% were turned into Demons. Your race is Demon, by the way.] Oh? I actually turned into a Demon, huh... This might be a somewhat interesting life, in my opinion. Oh yeah, I haven''t been able to move at all besides opening my eyes, so can you tell me why? [Oh that. You are currently in something like a static, where the world is frozen, letting everybody reincarnated from Earth learn information from their systems about the circumstances. Like reincarnating and the world information. It will basically last another hour, so just wait a bit and it will be gone.] Okay good. I thought there was something wrong with my body, which is why I couldn''t move. Any more important things I should know about this world? [Sure. There are multiple forests and deserts all around the world, where Magic Beasts and Demon Beasts are. Magic Beasts are creatures that evolved into more intelligent lifeforms due to certain reasons, and most races normally enter a contract with them to be their friends or something. Demon Beast are pure demonic creatures that were born from demonic energy. They are stupid and only know how to fight and eat, so basic instincts. Similar to Lesser Demons. There are things like mercenary guilds, merchant guilds and so on around Maldar. There are also countless dungeons spread out around the world. Most of them are naturally created dungeons, but there are also some artificially created dungeons made by people.... Oh. Looks like the static is about to be removed from the world. You will have to fall asleep for a little while, so have a good sleep.] Before I could ask anything, I suddenly felt my body become very heavy and tired. I tried to resist, but I couldn''t in the end and fell into a deep sleep. Chapter 2 Nrgh I wake up and my body feels very different from before, when I was talking with the system, so I am a little confused. It''s probably because the world was frozen or something, I guess. I try to move my body and manage to do so, which means I can finally get up and look around the area. i shakily stand up and stretch my body a bit in hopes of getting used to it. I look down at my body and notice that my skin is pure white like snow. I can also see long white hair hanging down onto my shoulders, so I figure demons have long hair. Looking further down my body I notice something very, very wrong. Fuck! Where is my dick!? System! Come the hell out now! Explain to me!
Well... Stuff happened. I won''t say much but you are not the only person who has a different gender, so... You are currently a female demon, rather than a male demon. Not quite sure if it is because there were problems with the reincarnation process or not, but around 60% of the people reincarnated from Earth are a different gender.

Once one becomes a being with strength equal to that of a God, they will be able to freely change their gender whenever they like. Well, I just scanned where you are, and I have to say, you are quite unlucky. Well maybe I can say you are lucky. You are currently within the Abyss. It is a place that is deep, deep underground, near the core of the world. There are a bunch of different levels to the Abyss, each having different and stronger Beasts on them. You are currently on the first level of the Abyss, which is why I said you are lucky. The Beasts on the first level are normally weak, excluding those that can be counted as the floor bosses, so you would be able to level up and get stronger.

Sure. Strength means how much damage you can do, or how strong you would be. The higher the Strength, the more damage or power you have. Agility means how fast you can move your body. Dexterity means how fast your reactions around you will be. Vitality means how much your health will regenerate. Intelligence means how strong your magic will be, as well how fast you think, making you smarter. Wisdom means how fast your Mana regenerates, while increasing your memory. Charm means how good looking you are, basically the higher it is the better you look. Luck means that you will have better things happening to you all the time, such as finding a legendary weapon. The higher it is the higher that chance is. Your stats will increase each time you level up. Charm and Luck can only be increased by certain occurences, which you will find out at a later time. Each level up grants you Stat Points, which you can use to increase your stats.
Oh... You said there was magic right? Is there something that can show you all your magic?
Yes there is. All you have to do is think Skills, and it will bring up your skill list, which has all your magic and techniques listed there.

A set of clothes appeared on the ground before me, along with a simple looking dagger. I Check my Skills and found the Inventory, Fireball and Beginner Dagger Mastery listed on it. The Inventory magic has a Max beside it, which probably means max level, while the Fireball and Beginner Dagger Master have a 1. I put the clothes on, glad to not be naked any longer. I somehow know how to use the inventory magic, so I place my dagger inside of it and take it out multiple times ot get used to it.
Now that you have your Starter Pack, you will be somewhat ready to kill beasts and get stronger, but before that you should sleep now. You have 1 day until the place you are in will basically create a small door, leading you to the true area of the Abyss, where beasts are. So you will need to be ready for that.
I agree with the system there. I will definitely need to be completely rested before I even start thinking about having to kill beasts from now on. I simply lay down in the small corner I have and quickly fall asleep. Chapter 3 I wake up in the same place I slept at yesterday, so I get up and stretch my body and look around. I don''t notice anything different, which means that the door thing the system said hasn''t appeared yet.

Sure I can. There will not be any safe areas like this room you are currently in, so you would need to find a relatively safe area if you need to sleep. You also got a few benefits from the Creator. Due to you being born into the Abyss, you get a bunch of bonuses. Your stamina will be infinite due to there normally only being beasts getting born in the Abyss. You can also create your own skills by doing actions. Such as sneaking around, it will give you a Sneak passive skill.
Oh? Interesting. This Creator guy gave me help for some reason. Well not that I will complain, since it will help me live longer like this.
Killing beasts all around the world will give someone XP, which is what you need to increase your level. The stronger the enemy is, the more XP it gives upon death. To go from level 1 to level 2 you need 25 XP. Level 2-3 requires 50 XP, level 3-4 requires 100 XP and level 4-5 requires 200 XP. So each time you level up, you need double the XP to get to the next level. Each time you level up, you get 2 Stat Points that you can use to increase your stats with. Every 5 levels you get a Skill Point, which can be used to increase the level of one of your skills.
Being able to increase the level of one of my skills every 5 levels will be very useful. The amount of XP doubling per level annoys me a bit though, but it is bearable I guess.
The higher your level gets, you can also get some bonus packs. At level 10 you get a Small Pack, level 50 you get a Medium Pack, level 100 you get a Big Pack and level 1000 you get a Giant Pack. Each of these packs will give you something useful, so grind that XP!
Ho~ Bonus packs huh. Level 10 won''t be hard to get so I wonder what I will get from it. The system did say each pack will give something useful, so I might get a skill or spell, I guess.
You will also be able to naturally appraise any beast that exists. You will be able to see the beasts race, level and health. Naturally, if the beast is many, many times stronger than you. you won''t be able to see it''s health or level. For example: If you are level 1, you won''t be able to see the health and level of a level 100 beast.
That will be very useful! Like this I won''t need to worry too much about fighting beasts stronger than me by too much, since I would be able to see the level of the beast.

Just like the system said, a big white door suddenly appeared in the center of the room. Although a big white door seems out of place in this dark room, I don''t mind and walk into the door, which blinds me with a bright white light. By the time the white light fades away and I can see again, I notice that the area around me is completely different. The once small black room, is now a large black cave. I can''t see clearly at all, as it is way too dark, so I squint my eyes a bit and see a little bit further than before, but thats it.

It really is a rat... Oh well. Why does it only have 75 health even though it is level 2? Maybe it''s a beast thing. I take out my dagger and slowly walk towards the rat while trying to make as little noise as possible. I manage to get about half a meter behind it before it seems like it notices something, so I instantly jump at it whilst aiming my dagger at it''s neck, hoping to hit it. The rat turns around and sees me near it and attempts to run off, but it is too late. My dagger pierces it''s neck, and I see a -100

Though it is not overpowered, it is a very good skill to start with. I should be able to sneak up on most beasts around here and kill them easier with this. I don''t feel tired at all either, so I guess having infinite stamina means I don''t need to sleep either. I look at the rat corpse and decide to just leave it there since I have enough food to last me a week, and I have no need for it. I check my XP and it says Level 1: 8/25 XP, so I can easily check how much more I need to level up like this. I wipe the blood on my dagger off using the rat skin and continue to walk around slowly to see if I can hear anything. I walk for about 10 minutes before I hear anything, so I crouch behind a nearby rock and look in the direction I heard something, and notice something like a cat.

I look at it closer and I can see that it is eating a rat and is distracted by it''s meal, so I decide to sneak up on it like I did with the rat before. Thanks to the Sneak skill, it is a lot easier for me to sneak up on it that it would be before. I get about a meter away from it before the cat suddenly turns around and jumps at me, which makes me panic a little, allowing it to bite my left arm. I nearly scream out in pain but manage to stop myself since I don''t know if there are any beasts around currently. I grit my teeth and punch the cat with my right hand, flinging it off of my left arm, dealing a -12

I just sigh and put 1 point into strength and agility, which lets me feel a bit better. I look at my arm and notice the bite mark, which is currently bleeding. System, how long do you think I will need for my wound to heal?
Well, with your 10 vitality, it should be healed in around 6 hours, since it isn''t that big of a wound.

It shows the total XP beside my level now, which is cool, I guess. I look at my injured arm and let out a sigh, before getting up and continue walking around. Though I am wounded, it is nothing important. I can still use my right arm, and my left arm just hurts. I walk around for 5 minutes before I find another rat, and I decide to test out my magic this time. I point my right hand towards the rat, and whisper "Fireball" which shoots out a ball of fire that is about the size of a fist. The fireball hits the rat right in the middle of it''s back, dealing -60

I gained 12 Xp which brought me up to 15/50. I notice that using a single fireball took 15 mana from me, so I can only use it 7 times total before I pass out from mana exhaustion. I guess it will be easier for me to kill beasts by shooting out a fireball first, since it will catch them offguard and distract them, giving me enough time to run up to them. I walk around for 15 minutes and find 2 rats fighting eachother, so I look closer at them so I can appraise them properly.

Huh. I guess that the health on beasts is just random. It makes sense I guess, since it isn''t a game where everything is programed and copied. I skulk around and watch the two rats biting and scratching eachother until they both have low health, so I send out a fireball at one and rush at the other. By the time the fireball hit one of the rats, I was already beside the other. I stab my dagger towards the rat, who doesn''t react at all, which lets my dagger easily stab it''s neck. I look towards the other rat and get ready to attack it, but I realise that it is already dead from my fireball.

Now my XP is at 33/50, close to hitting level 3. I continue walking and walk for around an hour without finding anything when a BEEP suddenly sounds in my head, nearly making me jump.

That''s simple. You are always sneaking around when you move, so it gains XP on the skill. You can''t see the XP for skills yet, but using them more will result in them leveling up eventually. Passive skills like Sneak are normally the easiest to level up, so don''t mind it.
So that''s why. I actually got scared by my skill leveling up haha. If I keep using my fireball, does that mean it will level up soon? Well, I will find out when it does. I roam around for another 15 minutes before I find something similar to a snake.

Chapter 4 Seems like my Health and Mana have regenerated a little bit. Well, I have been moving around over an hour, so it makes sense. I get up and am about to roam around a bit but I suddenly hear another DING. This time I don''t get scared from it since I know what the random DING come from.
Ding! Nightvision(Passive) 1 has leveled up!
Oh, that''s useful. I can see more clearly now thanks to that level up. I walk in a random direction for a 35 or so minutes before I hear rustling movements towards my left. I quickly look over and, thanks to my leveled up Nightvision, I notice a big bear sleeping.
Abyss Bear | Level 8 | Health: 200/200
Damn that bear is strong. Can I even beat that? Well, if it was awake I would simply run away as fast as I can. But since it is sleeping, I decide to attempt it. I walk up towards a rock near the bear slowly and crouch behind it. I raise my right hand towards the bear and whisper "Fireball" sending out a fist size fireball towards the bears head. The bear seemed to notice something as it opened it''s eyes and opened it''s mouth to roar, when the fireball coincidentally enters the bears mouth, dealing -125 damage to the bear. The bears eyes open wide and stares dumbly at me, while I stare back similarily. The bear then suddenly roars out in pain and rushes towards me, and I quickly jump back, which makes the bear run straight into the big rock, breaking it into pieces which all fall onto him, dealing -1 -2 -2 -5 to it. The bear currently only has 65/200 health left after that, so I jump towards it while it is stunned from the collision with the rock. I stab my dagger towards it''s eye, since I don''t know if my dagger will penetrate the bear hide. The bear quickly stabilizes itself and moved it''s head, which makes my dagger miss it''s eye and only pierce it''s shoulder, dealing another -30 to it, leaving it at 35/200 health. The bear raises it''s thick paw towards me, which I quickly drop onto the ground, narrowly avoiding it while only losing some hairs. I stab the dagger towards it''s neck, and since the bear is too damaged, it manages to enter it''s neck. I felt a bit of resistance, but it managed to enter the neck in the end, which killed the bear off. I get off the ground and breath a little heavily, since I am sure that if that paw managed to hit me, I would most likely of died.

That raises my XP to 83/100. The XP was a lot, but I don''t think I will do anything risky like that again until I am stronger, since I almost died from that. Luckily, I managed to get the bear to smash it''s head into the rock which stunned it, or it''s movements wouldn''t be so slow. I store the bear corpse into my storage, since the hide on the bear is pretty tough, and might be useful in the future if I can skin it. I feel a little hungry after all this fighting, so I take out a piece of bread from my inventory and nibble on it while I walk around in search of more prey. I find a Abyss Cat and 3 Abyss Rats fighting eachother, so I watch from the shadows while appraising them.

I watch them fight for a few minutes before they are all badly injured, and I send out a fireball right into the middle of them while they are all attacking, so the fireball hits all 4 of them. One of the rats die while the other 2 and the cat are nearly dead. I run up to them and stab all three in the head, killing them.

I only have enough for one more fireball, huh... At least my mana won''t hit 0 after using it, or else I would simply faint, which would probably get me killed. I walk around for 20 minutes before finding a level 4 rat, which I just rush at and stab my dagger into it''s head, gaining another another 10 XP off of it. I walk around for 2 or 3 hours before I find a snake which is coiled around a cat.

Well the cat is dead already. I wait for the snake to start eating the cat, which is does within the next few minutes, thankfully. Whilst it is swallowing the snake, it will be hard for it to move, so I rush towards the snake and stab the dagger into it''s spine twice, dealing -40 and -35 which kills it off.

That brought my XP up to 68/200. I''m only halfway to level 5 after all this. It seems that leveling up will actually be a bit harder than I thought. I walk around for 40 minutes before something suddenly attacks me from the air. It stabs it''s claws into my left shoulder, bringing me a bit of pain. I quickly stab towards whatever it is with my dagger, which ends up stabbing into it''s head. It falls off of my shoulder thanks to it dying, and I can get a look at what it is. What appears is a bat. It is small, ugly and dead right now. Although it managed to sneak attack me, at least I know there are bats in here now.

Holy! 80 XP from killing a single bat? That is nearly as much as killing the Abyss Bear from earlier. Maybe they give more XP since they can fly or something. Well that brought me up to 128/200 XP, bringing me closer to leveling up again. I walk around for another hour, finding two rats which I finish off. They gave me 8 and 10 XP respectively, bringing my XP to 146/200. I walk around mindlessly for about 4 hours, finding nothing. After another 20 or so minutes, I find something like a chest, just sitting beside a big stone. I pick up a rock and chuck it towards the chest, but nothing happens. So it''s not a mimic huh~ I thought it would be something like a mimic from games, but it isn''t, so I walk up and open the chest. I find a shortsword that seems to be made out of steel, 3 small blue bottles and a book. I take out everything and put it into my inventory before walking a couple of minutes and sitting behind a rock. System, am I able to appraise items aswell? Like what I just got from the chest?

That''s very good. I don''t know how much damage it does, but since it only uses 5 mana, it will be used more than fireball for now. I conveniently appraise my dagger aswell, so I can see the durability.
