《Conqueror of the underworld》 Chapter 1: The frist step into the shadow of society Chapter 1 I was staring into the mirror. My body was a fat and ugly one, and I looked like a loser. I wore big round glasses. My clothes were second-hand, and my watch was a cheap one, which you could get on the street for a few dollars. But the reason, why stared in the mirror was in my face. I had a new big red scar in the middle of my face. My name is Min-Soo and I live in Korea, specially speaking in Seoul. My life is like a big dog shit. I am often bullied by my classmates and even in my life outside of the school I don¡¯t have a happy life. My father died when I was 5 years old and my mother lives with me and my older sister together. Even my sister hates me. She mostly ignores me and says that I am an ugly pig who should just go to die. Now back to my scar which I observe in the mirror. It happened today when I went to school. Some of my older classmates who hated to the bones for no reason were waiting for me. They grabbed me by my clothes and dragged behind the school building. There they throwed on the ground and started to ask me if I had stolen a hat from one of them. It was a long time since I had felt so much fear in my life, even tough I was always bullied, and they had also beaten me up. But this time was different. One of them had this evil glint in his eyes and he took out a knife. He threatened me to give his hat back or I would have a meeting with the grim reaper. Naturally I hadn¡¯t stolen their hats or whatever it was but they didn¡¯t believe and so I also didn¡¯t know the place where the hats were. They¡¯re rage took over the mind and one of them said he would gift me a nice memory for the rest of my life. So, he cut through my face, and they didn¡¯t hold back. After that they punched me again and again. I think I lied on the ground for around an hour before someone saw me and called an ambulance. In hospital the doctor said that the scar would remain, and I should go to a lawyer and fight for my rights. But my family was very poor and couldn¡¯t afford a lawyer or anything that would help me. I even feared the day when the invoice of the hospital would arrive at home. So now I was looking in the mirror at my ugly scared face and asked myself what I should do now. Should I commit suicide? No, I was a fucking coward and could never kill myself. Should I take revenge on them? Haha, if I weren¡¯t even able to argue with my sister, how should I ever be able to take revenge on this bastard? No, all I could do was to sit around and make a long face. In times like these I often went into my room and watched some movies about gangsters and how they live freely and face every problem with confidence. When I had enough of watching some gangster movies, then I started my old computer and chatted with some guys in the internet. I found an internet group not too long ago where the main topic were gangster movies and how gangster lived. In this forum was my only friend. He called himself the Blood Dragon Hiroki and he knew everything about gangster and their lifestyle. I even had some time my doubts if he were himself a gangster, but I don¡¯t think he is one. Because if he were on, he wouldn¡¯t visit such a forum. In such days when everyone looked down on me and bullied me I would go to this forum and talk to him. He helped me already a lot in my life. He told me how to keep a low profile and he showed me a hidden app. With that I saw some interesting things like where to find which gang and which jobs one could take. He even gave me his phone number and we wrote together. But we didn¡¯t often write to each other. I can¡¯t afford internet or SMS for my mobile phone. Another reason was his location where he lived. His nationality was not Korean but Japanese and so he lived in Japan. Like always I talked to him about my problem how they bullied me. I even told him about my scar my now ugly face. He listened with patience to my story and said I should repay violence with violence. He was always like this. He always tells me to fight back or find someone who could help my fight them back. And like every time I told him that it was useless to fight them back and that I hadn¡¯t the power to fight them. They would crush me instantly. Like a fly. No, I had to wait until they calmed down and then go back into my old life. I told him that and waited for an answer. A long time nothing happened until an answer came back. He wrote: Min-Soo if you ever find the willpower to fight back than go to this address. They will help you but know this. If you go there, then there is no coming back. Once one enters the shadow of this world he will forever remain in that shadow. The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. A bit further down was an address in a part of Seoul which he never would visit if he could avoid it. He wrote back that he didn¡¯t think in a near future he would need the address, but he thanked Hiroki and left the chat. Hiroki often wrote such stupid things which couldn¡¯t be taken seriously. One time he even had sent him a link to a hitman website. He had often read about these scammer sites in the internet where you could ¡®buy¡¯ a hitman but in the end just the police or a big loss of money awaits one. So, he didn¡¯t take this one serious too. But out of a feeling he copied everything from the chat on his mobile phone and then went down in the kitchen to eat something. The days passed. He stayed at home for three days because he hoped that he could avoid any more beating and bullying until their rage calmed down. After a week he went back to school and hoped that whatever had happened had passed. But he was wrong, so fucking wrong. They just waited for him. They had smelled blood and they wanted more. This day was beside the day with the knife incident one of his worst days in his life. They had beaten him up around 5 times and after school he ran home even though sport was one of his big weakness. His whole face was bruised, and his face didn¡¯t even really hurt. If just somebody could help him. He had tried to talk to the teaches but they didn¡¯t want to be involved in this case. One of the reasons was they feared the thugs themselves and another reason was the parents of two of those thugs. One of them was the son of some company president and the other one had a father who was in a biker gang. So even if they would do anything against those boys, they would have to take the consequences on. Simply said, he was alone. After I have arrived back home the first one who greeted me was my sister. She looked furiously at me, in her hand was some kind of a document. I wanted to ask her what was wrong when I saw the big red letters on the front side of the document. INVOICE. It was the invoice from the hospital. She shouted at me what I was thinking to go to the hospital and bring them a bill back about 2¡¯500¡¯000 won. Oh damn, it was way more expensive that I thought but I couldn¡¯t change it now. I kept quiet and waited for her to calm down. Normally she would calm down after some lecture and then ignore me again. This time it didn¡¯t happen, instead she became angrier with every word that left her mouth. In the end she said that I had to move out of the house. I just looked at her. Move out? Me? Without a Job and still in high school? That was impossible for me. She ignored my pleas and throwed my stuff on the street. My clothes, my magazines and my movies. When I asked her in shock where my computer and furniture was, she answered that she had already sold everything away. Then she turned around and said with her back to me, that I should never come back, or she would call the police. With that last sentence the door was shut, and I stayed outside. Just with my clothes and my mobile phone. I had lost my home and my family and more important my computer. I hoped that nobody would find the hidden drives with my all my beautiful girls on it. So, I wandered in Seoul around and didn¡¯t know what to do until it became dark. Luckily it was summer right now and I didn¡¯t need to freeze outside. After a short walk and some crying and swearing I remembered something very important. Hiroki had written me about this last way out, about this special address. Which other choice did I have. Perhaps it was a fake, but what does it matter now, that I have nothing else to do. I went to this address in Seoul. As I came closer to my destination, I noticed the change in my surroundings. Everywhere were some weird and creepy guys. One of them even wanted to sell me some drugs, but I refused kindly and increased my pace. I just hoped that I wouldn¡¯t step into deeper shit. Finally, after a long walk and a lot of scary people later I arrived in little alley. There were a lot of gang members around and other people who looked like trouble and everyone looked at me. I tried to ignore them and went directly to the house which was described. Some of these fellows in the street wanted to follow me, but when they saw my destination they stopped and became pale. I stood in front of a multi-storey house which looked quite good when I looked around. Every other house had graffiti on it or some windows were broken, but this one was totally fine. As I turned around to look for my followers, I saw with surprise that they all disappeared. I turned around and faced with all my little courage which I had left the door. Then I rang the bell. Chapter 2: Hookers, money and a new life Chapter 2 He rang the bell, and nothing happened. He waited one minute, but still there was nothing. When he thought that everything was just a bad joke from his friend and he wanted to turn around he heard a voice behind the door. ¡°God damn son of a bitch. Who dares to disturb me? If you are one of Sung-mins members I will personally skin you. I have told you guys already to not disturb me. Fucking shit.¡± The door opened, and an old man looked at him. ¡°Who the fuck are you? I have never seen such an ugly pig around my house. Fuck off and let me rest or I crush your tiny little balls which don¡¯t even have hairs on it. Ya hear me?¡± He had so much fear that he didn¡¯t even dared to reply. Who was that big bald old man who was tattooed all over his body and had some scary scars on every inch of his body? Hiroki you bastard if I die here, I will haunt you for the rest of your life. He gulped once and then stuttered: ¡°S-sorry sir to disturb yo-you, but a bastard called Hiroki ha-ad to-told me to come to th-this place to be-begin a new life.¡± He sweated, he even wasn¡¯t sure if he had pissed in his pants. He never had felt so much danger from this old man than from any other person. The old man did firstly look uninterested but when he heard the name Hiroki his expression changed. ¡°You said Hiroki had sent you? Really, you don¡¯t tell me shit right now, do you?¡± He thought he would collapse anytime soon, but he pulled himself together and replied: ¡°Y-y-yes¡± ¡°And what is your name kid?¡± ¡°My name is Min-Soo sir.¡± Before he could do anything the old man punched him and dragged him inside. The last thing he felt was the pain from the punch, then everything turned black. When he woke up, he sat on a chair. His hands were bound behind his back. The room he was in was black and dirty and he saw even some blood in one of the corners. There was only one lamp in the middle of the room and when he started to turn his head around, he saw a table and on the right side a steel door. Right when he wanted to cry and curse at the same time, he heard someone coming. He started to sweat rapidly. It must be the old man. Will he kill me or torture me? The door opened and a man around 20 years old entered the room. Behind him was the old man. ¡°Hello, who do we have here. I¡¯m sorry for our behaviour before, but that were just some measure for safety. Hiroki indeed sent you here. Jin-ho set him free.¡± The young man called Jin-ho came to him and set him free, then he walked back to the side of the old man. Min-Soo was still unsure if he should be afraid or happy about the change in this situation. ¡°I know you must be quite confused about us and what is happening now. Hiroki told us everything about you Min-Soo. You don¡¯t need to fear us. We will help you to start a new life. You know I still owe this Hiroki a lot. So, why don¡¯t we go upstairs. I have prepared some tea and something to eat for you.¡± He was relieved that the old man wasn¡¯t angry anymore and now that the old man talked about food, he felt his hunger for the first time in a while. He was quite hungry. So, he nodded and followed him upstairs. He entered a white and big room with a little table in the middle of it where some sandwiches and tea were prepared. He sat down and got some tea served. The old man nodded to him and said: ¡°Just eat there is no poison in it.¡± He ate, or to be exact he tried to eat normally but his hunger was to big, so he just shoved the food into his mouth. While eating the old man observed him and then said: ¡°I want to ask you, why do you want to come into this shadow world and what do you hope to find in it?¡± Min-Soo swallowed a big piece of the sandwich and then answered: ¡°I am a loser and was bullied and beaten up every day. I want to end that life and start a new one. Even my own family had thrown me out. I have nowhere to go and don¡¯t know what I should do now. So please take me in and help me.¡± The old man looked at him and started to think. ¡°I see your situation and your problem, but if you decide to walk on this path then you can¡¯t return halfway. No, you will walk the path until you are death. If you still want to take this path, then say just yes and I will help you to become another person.¡± He didn¡¯t even think long and said: ¡°Yes.¡± The old man started to smile and told him, that he should take a shower after this and then go to bed. Tomorrow would his training start. Jin-ho showed him around and then disappeared. This Jin-ho didn¡¯t talk much and so he felt for the first time in his life lonely. After the shower he went to bed.Reading on this site? This novel is published elsewhere. Support the author by seeking out the original. Around 4 a.m. in the morning a sleepy Jin-ho went into Min-Soo¡¯s room. He had bucket full of water with him and throwed it onto Min-Soo. Min-Soo was instantly awake and shocked. He was firstly unaware where he was but rapidly recognized his surroundings. He moaned and asked back: ¡°What are you doing? It¡¯s far too early to wake up!¡± Jin-ho just stared at him and then whispered: ¡°Go down, to this old bone. Now!¡± Even tough Jin-ho whispered got Min-Soo chills, so he got up quickly and prepared himself before he went down. There the old man waited for him. He stared at Min-Soo and then said to him. ¡°Sit down boy and listen to me.¡± He sat down and waited for more. ¡°First my name. I am called Jin-Tae and until your training isn¡¯t finished you will call me master. Jin-ho is one of you teachers but not the only one. I will teach you about business, Jin-ho will teach you martial arts and later on another man will teach the rest. But up until now it will be just us free. We will train you and you will obey us for this period. Your training will be finished in two years from now and know this when you are finished then you will no longer be the old fragile and fat pig called Min-Soo. No, you will be called a gangster. What kind of gangster you will become, will the future show you?. Now eat up and then we will start our first business round.¡± He ate what he could a listened to his master¡¯s words. His master told him, that they worked as freelancers for everyone and they didn¡¯t belong to any group or gang. They were protected by some mafia groups and so they were quite safe, and nobody dared to mess with them. After a while a sleepy Jin-ho joined them. He wanted to ask some questions about this so called ¡°business¡± but Master said just to wait until the time was good. When he asked about Hiroki, he just got the answer that he was a friend of Master. The time went by and all of them finished eating breakfast. Then Master stood up and went out of the house followed by Min-Soo and Jin-ho. Master told him their destination. It was Cheongnyangni. He didn¡¯t know why his master wanted to go there this early in the morning, but he accepted it. After they walked around the corner of their house was a black Mercedes parked. It was like typical a clich¨¦ for gangster to drive such a car. He hid his smile when they drove off with the car. After around 15 minutes they easily reached their destination. The place was like he had thought filled with hookers and their customers. There even some restaurant and bars which were still open. They parked the car in front of an old apartment and then walked the street up. His master turned around: ¡°First rule in business. Money is the most important thing in your career as a gangster. Without money and power, you are just a worthless thug. So now I show you one of the incomes you get as a gangster.¡± He knocked on the door and waited a short moment. Then a beautiful woman opened the door, topless. For Min-Soo this was the first time for him to see a girl¡¯s tits in real. He had just seen them in tv or in the internet. So, he felt like in heaven. The girl knew who his master was and let them come inside. The house inside was dark and the air was thick. From far away he heard someone fuck and that really turned him on, but his master slapped him hard said he should concentrate. While still rubbing his cheek, he entered a lighted room with and older women who was counting money. She had black skin and curled hair. She looked up and greeted them. ¡°Hello Jin-Tae and Jin-ho and who is that?¡± Master sat down and replied: ¡°That is Min-Soo my disciple. He will learn the business from me.¡± She nodded in the direction of Min-Soo and then started to talk to Master. ¡°This night was successful. We have made around 12 million won.¡± Master nodded and asked back: ¡°Any problems, incidents or other things your boss needs to know?¡± She hesitated and then replied: ¡°Yes we have this old drunken man with the name Sung-ki. He always refuses to pay the girls and even hits them sometimes. With his actions he disturbs our business and drive our customers away.¡± Master hesitated and then nodded. He said: ¡°we will handle that problem. We take the money with us and bring it to the boss.¡± She nodded and then told him the location of this asshole. After they went out of the building and sat back in the car his master said: ¡°Jin-ho you handle this case. Take Min-Soo with you and show him how to handle with such problems. And Jin-ho just us the brass knuckles. No knife, no pistol and no murder you understand?¡± Jin-ho looked at his master and then went together with a nervous Min-Soo out of the car. He walked a bit the street up until they stood in front of an old and shabby building. Jin-ho turned around and said: ¡°Now rookie, this is your first time. I will go in and tie him up after that I will whistle, and you come in. Inside you take the brass knuckles from me and handle the job. Got it?¡± Before he could refuse or reply Jin-ho had already walked inside. After a short while he hears a whistle from the second floor. Then he pulled himself together and went into the building. Chapter 3: Fucking old geezer and a new suit Chapter 3 The room was dark, and Min-Soo couldn¡¯t see well. He entered a corridor and saw a light from the left room. When he entered the lighted room, he saw a man tied up on a wooden chair. In front of the man was office desk which was overloaded with garbage and empty injections, probably heroin. In the corner of the room was an old tv which was still on. The man in the chair tried to free himself but the ropes were to strong. While Min-Soo observed the room he suddenly felt a hand on his back. ¡°If I were an enemy you would be dead already. First lesson if you do a job like this. Always mind your surroundings. An enemy could wait everywhere for you.¡± Min-Soo looked at Jin-ho and nodded, his martial teacher was right. He had to look out. Jin-ho turned around and looked at the old man then he said. ¡°Second rule. Never, and I mean never. Never use our real names. Use some pseudonyms like red or butterfly. Whatever you want but no real names. Got it?¡± He nodded then asked: ¡°What are our pseudonyms right now?¡± ¡°You really are stupid, aren¡¯t you? If we would use pseudonyms, then I would have told you earlier. Right now, we just beat this shitty old man up and then go back. For that we don¡¯t need any pseudonyms got it?¡± ¡°Yes, sorry.¡± Jin-ho sighed then he took out his brass knuckles and gave them to Min-Soo. ¡°You will hit him now. Hit him into the face and the stomach. Don¡¯t show any mercy and don¡¯t stop until I tell you to stop.¡± Min-Soo stood there in a daze and looked at the brass knuckles and then at the old man. He tried to take them on and hit this old geezer, but his hands didn¡¯t follow his commands. He was still the coward from school who was bullied by everyone. Jin-ho noticed very fast that Min-Soo couldn¡¯t do anything and came from behind. He nudged him. Min-Soo turned around and his face was hit by the fist of Jin-ho. He felt intense pain and started to groan. His body nearly lost his balance and he had to lean against the wall. ¡°You useless little son of a bitch. Get yourself together and beat this guy up or I will beat you up. Got it?¡± Min-Soo was shocked and tried to argue with Jin-ho, but he was met with another fist. Tears dropped from Min-Soo face when he turned around to the old man. He had enough. Enough pain. Enough suffering. Enough humiliation. He reached out with his hand and aimed at the face of the old man. He felt how the knuckles met the bones and the flesh of the man and he knew he had hit the old man now. From this point on his body went into the automatic mode. He just hit and hit. At first the man cried shouted and begged but as times passed the man became more and more quiet. Now he was just whispering for help and mercy. Before he could land another hit, he felt to strong arms from behind. ¡°He had enough. Let¡¯s go back. He is waiting.¡± Min-Soo felt very weak, but he followed Jin-ho back. When he entered the car, he lost all his strength and laid back. His master looked at him and then had a short conversation with Jin-ho which he couldn¡¯t hear. Then his master came back and looked at him. ¡°As I have heard from Jin-ho you still hold on to the rules of society. That¡¯s ok for now but later you have to change. In the end you did well. We will now take a break. Jin-ho please bring us to the usual coffee store.¡± They drove for a short while. While they were driving Min-Soo remembered about his classmates and sister and how they all looked down on him. If he would screw up here to, then he had no place left to go. He had to endure it. The black Mercedes stopped in front of a small coffee shop in Gangnam Station. The coffee shop was called Coffee Gallery. Even tough it was in a modern street the coffee shop had a somewhat old feeling. They left the car and went together into the coffeeshop. He ordered a Latte Macchiato and the others drank normal black coffee. With the flavour of the coffee and the chattering around him, he finally started to calm down. While he was sipping on his coffee, his master started to tell him some things. ¡°Min-Soo firstly you need new clothes, a new mobile phone and you will have to make a tattoo. First about the clothes. In about 15 minutes we will leave this store and then go to a tailor. He will make you a suit. You can¡¯t walk around like this. Then you need a new smartphone. The smartphone you have right now is way too easy to track and hack. We need to get you a better one. About the tattoo, that will be a topic for later. Do you understand?¡± Min-Soo nodded. After they thanked the waitress for her service and his master paid, they left the coffeeshop and headed towards the tailor. This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. An old man with some weird glasses welcomed them. He made a respectful bow in front of his master and then went with his master into a special room. He was left together with Jin-ho. While he already had time, he started to explore this interesting tailor shop. There were some suits in the front of the shop and mannequin which wore hats and sunglasses. On the walls were some classy canes. After some looking, he noticed the price for the suits. It was enormous. A normal suit costed around 1 500 000 won. His master must be rich! 10 minutes later his master came back and said that he should follow him. In another room which was not much decorated but had some nice colourful walls he saw the tailor. In the middle of the room was a big mirror. The tailor looked at him and his gaze was quite unpleasing. Then he presented him a black suit with black pants. They had no patterns or decorations it was just a simple black suit. But this simple black was to his licking. He changed his clothes and looked into the mirror. Even tough he was still ugly and fat he had now a bit of a special feeling. It was still too faint to be able to impress other people, but he knew with time flowing he would become more and more impressive. While he looked in the mirror at himself, the tailor started to tell him some details. ¡°This suit is especially made for people who work in your business. It has 5 hidden pockets and it can block a knife attack. Even bullets can it stop if they are not shouted from 30 meters or nearer at you.¡± He was impressed by these facts and thanked the tailor. His master talked a bit longer with the tailor and then they left the shop. The next destination was an electronic store. They went with the Mercedes to the store. When he entered the store, he smelt some quite orientalism flavours. The storekeeper came and greeted them. It was a foreigner and he looked like he was from Arabia or any other country of the near east. The store itself was filled with all kinds of electronic goods. He saw smartphones, computers, televisions and even some old radios. His master turned around to him and said: ¡°That¡¯s Amir. He is a good friend of mine and will equip us with any technical equipment which we need on our missions. He can provide you with any electronical good you need. From an interfering transmitter to a small EMP machine, everything is possible if you can pay his price. So, negotiate if you want something.¡± Amir turned to him and smiled at him. ¡°Hello my fiend. My name is Amir and I will provide you with anything you need. You just have to ask. What your master told you is not true; my prices are good and fair.¡± Min-Soo nodded and asked: ¡°I need a smartphone which is not trackable and has good security, if some hackers attack me.¡± Amir thought first and then smiled. He disappeared behind his counter and started to search for something and then came back. In his hands were 8 smartphones. All of them were black and looked simply. They had no brand name. ¡°Those phones are the best untraceable and safest phones for you. Which one do you want?¡± He picked a phone and then his master negotiated with Amir. Around ten minutes later they left the shop. They went back to the car and his master said that they were now going to eat before the next mission started. They went into a small restaurant and ate some Kimchi. The chief even came out of the kitchen and asked them how the food was, so he guessed that this restaurant was involved in their business. The Kimichi filled his stomach and he felt very relived and relaxed after the meal. Even tough the restaurant was small, there were still quite a lot of people around. In one of the corners were bikers. At the bar of the restaurant was a group of ladies who chatted among them. On the opposite of their own table were two guys who looked like some business people. Even though he saw so many kinds of people from different part of the society, he didn¡¯t feel like there was a wall which would normally separate them. When they were finished his master entered the car. Jin-ho drove while his master spoke to him. ¡°Now let me tell you this now. Our next destination is quite important, and you mustn¡¯t mess thing up. You just stand aside and do or say nothing. If anything happens, then hide in the car until everything has finished. Got it?¡± He answered with yes and then asked what their next mission was. ¡°On our next mission. We must secure a drug deal. A drug deal between two rivalling gangs. So, stay low and don¡¯t speak.¡± He was nervous. He never ever thought about selling drugs or have anything to do with it. Even some rivalling gangs were involved. He gulped down, but he believed in his master. Chapter 4: Drug Deal Chapter 4 Drug Deal Min-Soo watched the skyscrapers in the distance. Their car was driving out of the city into one of the suburbs of Seoul. The buildings in the suburb were just flats. His master and Jin-ho stayed all the way silent. While he watched the new flats of the suburb, he noticed how the sky became cloudy and he guessed that it will rain soon. He sighed, he didn¡¯t like rain and now of all times it had to come. The car left the highway and entered a smaller street with some trees on both sides. Min-Soo observed the street but couldn¡¯t find anything that would look like a place for drugs. While he was observing the car turned again right and entered an underground car park. So, they would trade the drugs down here. It was the better choice. His master turned around and said: ¡°We reached our destination. Remember don¡¯t speak or do anything without my permission.¡± Min-Soo nodded. The car stopped at the number 26 in one of the last park lines. Everything became quiet and he waited for the instructions of his master. Jin-ho turned to his master and had a short discussion about their plans and then said: ¡°Min-Soo you go with me, Jin-Tae will speak to them.¡± Min-Soo nodded again and then followed Jin-ho out of the car. The car park was quiet while they walked about 20 meters to a black Toyota. When they stopped in front of the car, the door opened, and two people greeted them. ¡°Jin-Tae it is a pleasure to see you here. How are you doing?¡± His master bowed in front of this man and replied ¡±Good day mister Kang. I hope you are well?¡± The guy called Kang smiled and said: ¡°Yes I am fine, but more important who is that fat pig beside Jin-ho?¡± Min-Soo defiantly heard an mocking tone in the voice of Kang. Jin-Tae waved his hand and said: ¡°Forget about him, he belongs to me and is under my security. More importantly how will the deal today go?¡± Kang shrugged with his shoulders and then said: ¡°They have harassed my men and they paid the price. Now we will forget the past and make a deal together for our will of peace. That¡¯s all of it.¡± Jin-Tae looked a long time at Kang until he said: ¡°Be aware, that I represent your boss at the moment and your boss doesn¡¯t want more attention than needed.¡± When Jin-Tae had finished his sentence, everyone could hear bikes and a few moments later the first bikes entered the car park. Those guys were tall and tattooed everywhere. They numbered up to five guys and their bikes looked quite cool. The bikes had golden, green and red patterns and some even had dragons and monsters on their gas tanks. Kang turned around and faced the bikers. When they stood face to face, Jin-Tae started to speak: ¡°As everyone knows. We are here to keep the peace in this drug deal. We represent no gang and so we are neutral.¡± One biker walked out of their group and nodded respectfully towards his master then he faced Kang. Even my untrained eyes could see that the biker hadn¡¯t a friendly attitude toward Kang. ¡°Mr. Kang we the ¡®Falcon biker gang¡¯ acknowledge your offer for peace between us. We hope for a good relationship.¡± Kang nodded and then replied: ¡°Good to hear. Now let¡¯s go to the business, shall we?¡± The biker nodded and then they started to discuss about some prices. After 10 minutes the tall biker whistled and one of his colleagues brought a bag with him. Min-Soo saw lots of money inside the back and was shocked. Never in his whole life had he seen that amount of money. Never! Kang nodded at the biker and made a sign with his finger to a man behind him. The man brought three heavy suitcases. The man opened the suitcase and presented it towards the biker. That tall and tattooed guy looked at Kang and then examined the content of the suitcase. A moment later he nodded, and the man gave the suitcases to some of the bikers. Meanwhile the bag with the money was handed over and Kang nodded satisfied. Both the biker and Kang looked a short moment at each other and then left in different directions. His master came back to him and said: ¡°Did you see that Min-Soo. The underworld can be peaceful if you follow some certain rules. Remember this day it can help you in the future.¡± Min-Soo just nodded. He didn¡¯t know how this shit should help him in the future but he didn¡¯t want to have discussion with his master. They entered the car and drove out of the car park. Min-Soo saw how Kang also entered his car and at this moment he saw him grinning wickedly. He didn¡¯t know why this guy grinned like this, but it sent some chills his back down when he saw it. They left the car park and saw the bikers who first left, driving the street down. When they were around 200 meters away from them, he heard a big explosion. A giant fireball engulfed all of the bikers and turned them into ashes. This novel''s true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there. Min-Soo was shocked. Why did the bikes explode? While he was still in shock, his master shouted out: ¡°That bastard Kang. He never wanted peace, he just wanted to trap them. That fucking asshole. I skin this bastard.¡± If Jin-ho hadn¡¯t stopped his master from leaving the car and running towards the car of Kang, then there would be more dead people. Jin-ho drove them far away from the incident and stopped the car at some random street. His master still furious and cursing took his phone out and made a call. ¡°Hello, yes its me. Yes, I¡¯m calling because of the deal. Yeah it failed. Kang has taken some actions to smash the bikers. Yes, the bikers are now without a proper leader. Yeah, I know. Thank you, sir, and have a good day.¡± He hung up and took a deep breath. ¡°Min-Soo I hope you have also learned a lesson out of this? This mess. Never trust anyone, never! Now let¡¯s go back. I need some tea and we have to talk.¡± He said something to Jin-ho, and they drove back to the house. His master went into a room and said he didn¡¯t want to get disturbed. Min-Soo went into the living room and watched some tv. The news already told about the incident and spoke of a gang war which was now breaking out. Some police officers made a statement to the suspects of the incident and said they would not rest until the city was save again. It was the same shit as always. When the news ended, and a cartoon started his master came out. He said: ¡°Min-Soo, I have thought about your training and I decided now something. First, it is not good now to stay with us here. For a rookie like you our jobs are too dangerous, and your body isn¡¯t trained yet. So, firstly we need to train your body and bring you back into the shape of a human. You can¡¯t look like a fat pig. So, I decided to send you to my old friend Ki-nam on Jeju. You will fly tomorrow.¡± Min-Soo was a bit confused. Why should he go to Jeju and who was that guy called Ki-nam? Jin-ho turned his head towards Min-Soo and said: ¡°Jin-Tae is right. You can¡¯t stay with us for now. Those biker guys will now start a war and we were involved in that incident, so they will target us. But don¡¯t worry we will eat today together and tomorrow you fly to Jeju. No problem at all. When you are finished with your training you can come back to us.¡± Min-Soo realized for the first time that they were concerned about him and that made him feel good. It was the first time in his life that somebody cared about him like this. He nodded and agreed. When the evening was arriving, they went into a small restaurant. He was treated to meat and noodles and he really enjoyed it. He smiled a lot and even joked a bit with Jin-ho. Finally, after a long night with jokes and lots of good food they went home and he fell asleep. Early in the morning, the sun was still under the horizon, when Jin-ho woke him up. He had to shower and wanted to change into his suit but was stopped by Jin-ho. ¡°You don¡¯t need to wear the suit. Just take these clothes instead.¡± Jin-ho handed him some slim black and grey clothes with golden buttons. He locked at them and then changed into the new set of clothes. After a short breakfast and no words with his master he had to leave. Jin-ho prepared the car in front of the door but before Min-Soo could enter the car, his master told him to wait a moment. He took a small dagger out. The dagger was around 15 centimetres long and was placed into a wooden sheath. He gave it to Min-Soo and told him: ¡°This is my gift for you. Use it well in your training.¡± With that he turned around and left. Min-Soo didn¡¯t know what to do with this dagger and put it in his pants. He entered the car and Jin-ho drove them to a small airport. It was not the big international airport but another small one, for private planes and such things. Min-Soo didn¡¯t expect this and wondered who their pilot would be. After a short walk to one of the hangars. They arrived at the hangar 11. Inside of the hangar was a small red plane. Two other persons entered his view. One was the pilot and the other one was some kind of sportsman. He greeted to those two and entered the plane. When he was inside of the plane, they handed him a heavy bag and told him to wear it. He didn¡¯t know why he had to wear such a big bad, but he trusted those guys. The flight started and after a few hours and a short stop they finally saw Jeju. A small green Island in the south of Korea. It looked beautiful from above. On the island was even a mountain which was dominating the whole landscapes. When they were not far from the island, the pilot suddenly said: ¡°Now guys. It¡¯s time. We have arrived.¡± Min-Soo didn¡¯t know what he meant but it became instantly clear when the sportsman opened the door and said to him: ¡°Ok boy. Remember this count to 20 and then open the parachute with this rope. One strong pull and it will open. Now jump!¡± Never had he felt this much fear in his life. He started to shiver and didn¡¯t inch even a centimetre from his position. He heard how the sportsman sighed and then a strong force throwed him out of the airplane. He screamed and then started to count.
