《Just another random summoning story》 Prologue It was a day like any other sitting at school daydreaming. Not really listening to the teacher while they spouted some nonsense about rivers or something. I whispered back at him then (Mc)¡°What kind of crap are you spitting now¡± not really paying attention to his panicked face he began to shake. You may be wondering what was going through my head at that point well let¡¯s just say I had no clue what the fuck he was talking about. I then proceeded to look around the room everyone else also seemed to be in a similar state. At this point I too began to feel hot. God that sounds lewd. I turned towards the teacher she was one of those young cute female teachers wh.. where was I going with this oh yeah she was completely frozen the chalk in her hand froze midway between writing.This book''s true home is on another platform. Then again maybe we won¡¯t get any abilities. Was at that moment that the god came back onto the intercom. (God) ¡°umm sorry about this but I forgot to tell you. You all will be getting your own abilities that will be unique yay!(;¡±. I think I just jinxed it wow (sigh) (God)¡°well let¡¯s get this party started [; A completely average guy Well it¡¯s been a day since we got here and everyone is still in the stage of happiness and excitement. Yeah they¡¯ve yet to realize that we are stranded in this world (Ren) ¡°huh you guys are currently at war with the demons. Of course I¡¯ll help¡± or so said Ren the great hero. With everyone else with determined eyes, all I could think was huh we are totally screwed. That is the funniest thing I have ever heard. Well I have a plan I have been stockpiling knowledge in this castles library since I got the chance, the king has given us a mission, or whatever to defeat the demons or whatever. Well that brings me to my plan I the all round disliked character named Crow,with average looks average skills pretty much all around average, will go to the north and love there. Why? Which brings me back to a point I was saying earlier the whole average thing it was completely the truth except one thing I have a rather peculiar ability. The ability to purify mana that is within me, I have a fair bit of mana actually it is actually a fair bit above average surprisingly well what is to purify. Quite simply it is to separate arcanum from the mana leaving you with two things arcanum and pure mana. Yay or so the system says me well I have no clue on what that really means Earlier the king did say to ask him if we needed anything I guess I¡¯ll do that tomorrow. The king and the crow The king sat at his desk doing paperwork he was quite happy with the hero¡¯s agreeing to help them. Now he could keep his precious daughter safe. There was a swift knock on the door to his study followed by two more of the same caliber. The king looking confused. Stated in a voice laced in authority stated with dignity ¡°come in¡± a boy came through the door wearing a big coat that was unzipped underneath was a plain white tee the hood of said coat had a fur lining while the interior had fluffy material. His hair was pitch black but his eyes were blue yet around his pupil there was a slim band of yellow the boy stuck in your head as he was very different from other hero¡¯s. The king was almost sweating just by looking at him. The hero named crow the boy then asked in a deep velvety voice ¡°hey king I want to work in someplace cold so can I go to the north. He was going to be a loss but they could probably do fine without him so with a curt nod the king agreed to the boys request. But the old king was what you could call a softie as he decided on the hero¡¯s departure he would give him money and a few other gifts so he could protect himself in the north. The great generous king would even set him up in the fort that went by the name tundra he heard the pay was good and everyone there were friendly. the boy simply gave his thanks and left the room the king thought that all the hero¡¯s were rather unpolite so he had a warm smile knowing that one at least had basic manners. ...................(crow POV) Huh that old king wasn¡¯t as bad as I thought. He even said he¡¯d get me a job. To bad now I¡¯ll feel a little guilty when I steal a bunch of books from his library on mana and arcanum. The books on mana will be missed but the books on arcanum won¡¯t because no one can use it ¡°oh well¡± I mutter and let out a sigh I¡¯m just borrowing them The hero called Ren That day Ren went to school it was like any other day in fact it was basically the same as any other getting compliments from all his friends and rudley criticizing the group of outcasts (girl A) hahah their so weird talking about books and anime. (boy a) yeah makes you wonder why they just don¡¯t act normal. (Ren) hahah to true they are so weird. He couldn¡¯t help but snicker at the group that was until a beautiful voice came out of a crackling intercom. (god) hey there congrats you have been chosen to be heroes of a world in dure need of your help. Ren opened his eyes slowly only to see a man with a crown with the biggest smile he had ever seen plastered on his face. (king) ¡°heroes¡± he said then kneeled down before saying ¡°please, please help us Ren puffed out his chest before saying ¡°Do not fear because we are here to help you¡± shortly after that ................................... Rens test results came in it appeared that he had very poor magic but everything else was exceptional. They were giving him a name now Ren the greatest hero. (group of followers) It¡¯s so fitting for you Ren after all your the most popular. With a smile on his face Ren said ¡°I will defeat the demons for that goddess¡± Chapter 4 Rena always really liked Ren but it was in the way that a sibling would. even when they were summoned she took to checking him and all there other friend for injuries. the only classmate she couldn¡¯t stand was Crow he could be okay but most times he¡¯d put on an arrogant tone as he sarcastically remarked about something this was one such time (Crow) hey Rena I have this sneaking suspicion but maybe nobody is hurt can you believe it. Rena couldn¡¯t help but glare at him he smiled and decided to tease a bit more (Crow) hey Rena how many times are you gonna check those people before your satisfied. They¡¯re starting to look uncomfortable. Rena at this stage couldn¡¯t keep in her rage and punched him straight in the gut. (Crow) (groan).......hahahaha (Rena) ¡°shut up¡± Rena then proceeded to kick him while he was on the floor before crow put on a serious face and said ¡°it¡¯s way to hot don¡¯t you think she simply ignored him as Ren was saying some weird shit behind her to a man that could only be called a king.You could be reading stolen content. When she was passing crows room she heard them talking about how crow wanted to leave. Rena then proceeded to storm into his room she looked at Crow as he nonchalantly flicked to the next page in his book Grant was sitting opposite to him on another chair trying to change his mind about going to the north. But crow just ignored him ¡°Come on crow you can¡¯t leave we need to stick together¡± grant pleaded Crow simply responded with ¡° I don¡¯t like the heat¡± grant went silent the other three wouldn¡¯t be back till later and he was getting nowhere with trying to get Crow to stay it was at that moment Rena snapped ¡° How dare you. Who do you think you are.¡± She snarled ¡°What you think your better than us huh¡± (Crow) ¡°Why are you in this room Rena. get out¡± Rena who¡¯s mouth now hung open didn¡¯t have a response. She wasn¡¯t expecting an answer like that that radiated with extreme venom. So she simply mechanically moves her way out of the room. ¡°That was a bit harsh¡± grant muttered ¡°she has to learn. Or she¡¯ll always be the same person who pretends she cares about people but reall only wants to protect herself. ¡°Still that was harsh¡± grant whispered ¡°Doesnt matter I¡¯ll be gone soon anyway¡± Crow said reassuring no one but himself The continent Crow yawned as he descended the stairs that led to the rooms. He was making his way to the library. The castle was huge so he wondered what it looked like from outside. Nothing short of a Disney castle is what he likes to believe. The doorway into the library was huge. Crow began to wonder how he¡¯d get it open. ¡°Well this might be a problem¡± he muttered. ¡°Nothing to do now but try and open it¡± he said as he reaches out to open it but just before he got the chance to test his strength it opened without a sound. Well that makes things way easier he thought. He was looking for a map and books on arcanum and magic. So he began his search. He found the map of Vandrall on a wall at the back wall of the library. It took him a minute to get there though. The continent was huge from his observations. In the center was a huge mountain range called the Dragon spires. To the east was a place called the walled city but it looked way to big to be called just a city. West of the spires was the ocean. It looked as if some giant explosions took out the entire west. To the nort-west was a forest called the elven reach. In the south west was a huge country called the demon kingdom. In the south was the kingdom of avaron. ¡°Wow the place were in now is pretty small compared to the rest.¡± Crow whispered in interest. To the north east was a Demi-human kingdom known as kyrin.there it banded around the walled city and finally ended at south east.Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. A book he found very easily as there was almost ten magic books for each shelf. He kept looking until he found what he was looking for. You see Crow always had a dream. His dream was to hurl lightning at peo.... monsters and when he found out his affinity was for it a smile crossed his lips. He began to read greedily devouring the knowledge on each page. The only problem with this was because he hadn¡¯t a clue how to cast magic or even access it. So he went of looking for a book on mana control. When he finally found it he decided that he was never skipping mana lessons again after reading it thoroughly he figured out that you should feel something within you if you concentrate. So he sat down and closed his eyes. ¡°I can feel something¡± he stated with curiosity. ¡°Oh wait I actually don¡¯t feel anything¡± disappointment laced in his voice. but despite his nature he kept trying. Until he felt something first his sling began to tingle. ¡°Wow this feels weird maybe it¡¯s working¡± he said. But then it started to get uncomfortable ¡°ugh what is this feeling it feel like two things are crossed I¡¯ve one enother¡± he began to concentrate trying to separate the two streams then something said ¡°well done! You have unlocked arcanum¡± huh guess I don¡¯t need that book on arcanum he thought. Well I feel terrible. I got up and then began to make my way back to the stairs ¡°ugh, I¡¯m definitely going to feel that in the morning¡± I said with a yawn as I went and passed out in my bed. Training Umm pay no heed to my dicking with boxes I don¡¯t really get them yet Ren was raring to go. With a blunt sword he squared up against his best friend Vince. Vince was also a hero in class but he specialized in speed instead of defense and attack. ¡°You don¡¯t stand a chance Vince.¡± Despite the odds not being in his favor Vince wanted to a least get a hit in. Ren was getting really cocky these days and Vince was under the impression that it was due to that king and the other trainers bumming him up for the past three days. whats worse was that they were completely ignoring everyone else so while the hero got stronger, while they stayed at the same level as when they started. The trainer then shouted ¡°Begin!¡± Vince could only curse silently as Ren barreled towards him. Just barley managing to avoid the slash. He began breathing rapidly. ¡°Okay that¡¯s how you want to play this game you prick¡± Vince wasn¡¯t in the mood for this the only reason he was fighting anyway was because nobody else had the balls to. Letting out three swift slashes making use of his swordsman skills. The first missed but the other two hit perfectly. One cracking against his arm an the other smashing into his cheek. Ren let out a low growl before slashing again but it was completely futile because Vince was to quick (if I could only hit him it would be over) he thought angrily as a thrust made red burst out of his nose. He let out a roar. Vince has seen him distracted and with a cocky face on to boot. No way was he going to leave that unpunished. Vince kept striking hen until Ren yielded with a smile on his face Vince thought about the lesson he just thought Ren.This text was taken from Royal Road. I feel like the system itself is commenting on my whole status. What a terrible feeling, the feeling of being disliked by an unliving thing. arcanum huh how would I use that. But it sounds interesting. Well there¡¯s always next time Learning to control mana With a smile on my face I walked through the garden to the mana teacher, I heard she was teaching people how to access there mana, something I had already managed to do on my own you could call me a certified genius, well that was until I reached the people she was teaching they seem to have already been firing spells at targets. ¡°Wow look at that. The teacher suddenly stood and said without much urgency ¡°bring him to the table¡± the knight more than happily obliged. one of the students then brought up the courage to ask ¡°umm madam, what happened to him. She gave the student a smile while applying healing magic to his wounds. ¡°This boy used magic without a staff but because he lost control of his emotions this happened.¡± They all stared ¡°seems his attribute was wind, such destructive power for the least flashy attribute.¡± ¡°But I thought wind was the weakest¡± attribute another girl piqued up others joining in with agreement but the teacher only sighed and said ¡°Any magic is dangerous in the hands of someone who knows how to use it¡± This was a lesson no one would soon forget, except of course the idiot lying on the table getting his newly scarred arms bandaged. No this would be a turning point in magic because he was the first person to ever use magic without a staff, in a long long time. Body enhancement Grant thought about how he got here. It¡¯s just she has been wrong in the past. But I suppose if you think this could be a valuable experience, then I will send them.¡± ¡°I think you¡¯ve made a great decision¡± the advisor beamed. (Yes If only I had made it. I¡¯m nothing but a fool who can¡¯t make his own decisions.) ¡°My king I¡¯m sure they¡¯ll be able to deal with a few orcs.¡± The general said calmly it seems he noticed the Kong¡¯s melancholic expression ¡°Yes and about that boy that can use magic without a staff, I¡¯m afraid that I¡¯m against the idea of him going north. Instead I wish to teach him as my apprentice.¡± The sorcerer said confidently. He truly just wanted to research the oddity and maybe get a new friend {besides he was already 16 and didn¡¯t have many friends as he was taken to become the court sorcerers apprentice. ¡°I agree he would be far more useful here than up north.¡± The king said ¡°I don¡¯t make a habit out of breaking agreements but I¡¯ll find away around his problem with the heat.¡±
