There are many different race''s that inhabit in this world and every creature in this world used an energy called mana. Mana is the energy in the surroundings also called nature energy. Sunlight shone on the Hebrei city, Hebrei city is the border city of the Eztiz kingdom. Somewhere in the Hebrei city, in a small house. Riiiing!! Riiing!! "Ahh" William slowly woke up when he heard the sound. Riiiing!! He sat up and looked around the room. He was confused, ''where am I? The last thing I remember is when I was fighting the seven demon kings and the divine beast'' He looked at the alarm clock and he stretched his hand and turn off the alarm. ''This room seems familiar?'' He thought as he continue to survey the room. He looked at the table where the alarm clock and he found a smartphone beside the alarm clock. He pick it up and looked at the date in the screen. He was shocked in what he saw. 5th month, day 28, year 9912 of the new emergence calendar. ''What? YEAR 9912!!? Isn''t it year 9998?'' He rubbed his eye''s and then he looked again at the date. William stood up and walk near the window. He looked outside and he was once again shocked. He opened his eye''s wide and his jaw dropped almost touching the floor. What he saw is the beautiful blue sky and the rising sun. He looked around the greeny plant''s and forest that full of life. He saw his reflection in the glass of the window. He saw his face that looked 15-16 year''s old, short black hair and black eye''s. ''Isn''t this my face when I was young?'' He thought. He closed his eye''s trying to think something. He looked once more at the blue sky and green forest before he sat in the chair beside his bed. At exactly 2nd month, day 1, year 9913. The demons will launch an attack in the human race and the various race that live in this world. Millions of people will die in the war against the demons. Blood would paint the land, sea of flame will engulf the greeny forest and whenever you looked you could find a rotting corpse of the human, elves, dwarf, and many other race. At that time William became one of powerfull existence in the world. He slaughtered his way to the demons army, divine beast den and devil king castle. His power back then could even match the God''s. But in the end he was surrounded by the seven demon kings and the divine beast and then he died after he slay three demon kings. William sighed when he remembered everything that happen. "System" William said one word and an interface opened in front of him but he is the only one who can see it because this was directly sent to his mind. "Brother the breakfast is ready" He turned around and looked where the voice came from and found a girl that looked like a 15-16 year''s old wearing a white dress with a red pattern, she has a big round black eye''s, a pure black hair that drape down to her shoulder. She is William''s sister, her name is Claire. Claire is one year older than William but he always treat her like a little sister. Claire was a genius student at the Hebrei Academy. She is already a level 42 fighter on her second year while William still stock on level 1 even if he is already a first year. He stared at his sister for a while. He really missed her, for him it''s almost hundred year since he last saw her. He smile gently at his sister and he answered, "okay" His sister died in the first wave of demons attack because this city was the border city of the kingdom. The demons attack was sudden thing that the lord of this city didn''t even manage to prepare before they suffered an attack. This city, Hebrei city was burn down in the first day the demons began their attack. Only a few people that manage to escape the city survive that day even the powerful nobles didn''t have a chance to fight back. William at that time was too weak to even fight one demon soldier. Fortunately he manage to survive that day but his only sister died at that time. ''This time I will never let you die'' He thought while he looked at his sister who was eating her breakfast. "Is there''s something wrong brother?" Claire asked his brother who was looking at her in dazed. "No, it''s just your more beautiful today" William said as he stretch his hand and patted his sister''s head. There are various shop that can be found in the town. He found a weapon shop and he enter in the shop. He looked around and saw many kind of weapons. He saw a particular weapon, it was a rusty short sword. He walked up to the short sword and held it with his right hand. "How much is this?" He asked the oldman. "30 silver" the oldman replied. "Sure" William bought the short sword. He looked at the sword with a satisfied face. The reason why he bought this sword is because it''s a magic sword. With one looked he already notice the mana inside the sword. He only need to refine it and maintenance a little he could sell this sword for 5 gold coins. He walked out of the weapon shop and he walked towards to direction where the forest is. He thought, ''it''s time to level up''. C2 Completing the quest William arrived at the forest and he brought out his sword while he walked deeper in the forest. He was walking nonchalantly deep inside the forest where beast reside. In the past William killed many beast just to increased his experience point and those beast was a hundred time''s stronger than the beast here in this small forest. Although the beast here in the forest was weaker than those he killed in the past he still kept his guard as he was weak level 1 mortal. The forest here is wide as 50 kilometer. It reside in the western part of hebrei city. Only level 1 to 60 monster could be found here in the forest. The largest forest near the Hebrei city is in the north the Flame Ape Forest. It has the same size of hebrei city that span a 300 kilometer diameter. The beast there was stronger and if all the beast there march toward the city it''s possible that they could take down the city. The Flame Ape''s are the overlord of the forest they hunt in pack and their level varies to 80 to 90. William tried to control his mana. He imbued his mana in his short sword in his right arm. William looked at the sword in his hand that glowing lightly. ''It''s seems my control in mana is good too like in the past''. A wave of mana burst forth in his body and swept out through the forest. William use his mana to scan his surroundings. ''It seems that with my current mana thirty meter''s is the limit of my mana sense'' William thought as he continue to walk deeper in the forest. William found a horned rabbit that digging the ground. Based on the looks of the horned rabbit it''s not a mutated one and he could sense that it was only a level 3. He immediately hide his presence and he slowly walk to the horned rabbit. When he was 5 meter''s away the horned rabbit William focus his mana on his feet and dashed to the horned rabbit at a high speed. Before the horned rabbit could react a sword slice through it''s head. *Ding* [3 exp gained] [1 point gained] ''If a level 3 horned rabbit could give me a 3 exp, I only need to kill 6 horned rabbit to level up but if I meet a level 4 - 10 beast maybe I could level up if I kill atleast one of those'' William thought. William could easily kill a beast higher level than him with his battle prowess and his control over his mana. But when he meet a level 15 beast this beast could fight him on even ground. ''At present I don''t have any skill or technique that I can use, so if I meet a level 15 beast that one could give me a trouble.'' William sighed and continue to walked. At the very least in this outer part of a forest the highest level could be found is level 20. That level of beast could kill him with William''s amount of mana and his stats there''s no way that he could kill a level 20 beast. He needed to increase his strength to survive and protect his family in the upcoming war. He continued to hunt a beast at the end of the day he manage to level up to 6. Everytime he level up all of his stats increase by one except defense and it gives him 3 stat point''s available, while his mana increase by 5 each level. William pondered for a while before he used 50 point''s to his mana. He once again looked at his stats. Stat point could only earn through leveling up while the ordinary point could earn through killing beast and completing a quest. 1 ordinary point is equivalent to 1 mana point and 1 stat point is equal to 50 mana. An ordinary point could only use to increase mana or bought a skill while the stat point use to increase the strength, agility, dexterity, vitality, defense, and mana. William didn''t allocate his stat point''s he would only use it in a dire situation. In case when he needed more strength to break the enemy defense, more speed so that he could keep up with the enemy, or needed more stamina when he was fighting many enemies at once. William''s new stats and his amount of mana was enough for him to fight a level 20 beast. He was a master of mana. A master of mana is an existence that could freely control his mana. Only an existence at the pinnacle could freely control the mana in the surrounding the spend a huge amount of time to master the mana and eventually control it like a part of their own body. Those are the existence that could produced mana with their own body not by simply gathering the mana in the nature and stock it in their body.
