The red monkey walked gently into the forest. Zheng, who was hiding in the bush nearly fainted at the sudden appearance of the red-furred monkey. He gave his best holding his breathing in fear so that the monkey will not notice him. Unexpectedly, the bush rustled. ''Crap!'' "Hmm?" A pale-skinned man, sitting with eyes closed on the slab of rocks. He had spiky, shoulder-length, pale brown hair, with a chin-length, braided lock hanging in front of his left ear. He also sported a goatee, which was short. The pale-skinned man had a pair of horn-like protrusions extending from either side of his forehead. He wore a white, full-length kimono with a pattern of six black magatamas around a high collar, beneath which, he wore a necklace which was also made up of six black magatamas. Zheng checked his map and saw that the place where the pale-skinned man is sitting in the final area that he needs to explore. Zheng''s heart beats wildly as he made a resolute decision and that was to approach the pale-skinned man silently. Zheng''s foot was shaking as he moves them towards the pale-skinned man''s place. Looking at the pale-skinned man, Zheng''s breathing became unstable. Shhhh... With that final step of his left foot, Zheng arrived in front of the pale-skinned man. Zheng stared at him with a question on his face. ''Is this real? Why is there''s a man sitt...'' Zheng''s thoughts were disrupted when the old man''s pupilless white eyes opened wildly. "..." I was just surprised at seeing another one like you. Haha!" Zheng could not believe what he had heard. Moments later, something like a heavy object was removed from his chest. The sound of the whistle was not loud nor quiet but soft like a pillow in his ears. The trees in his right side shook. Soon, the trees surrounding them shook as well. Moments later, some weird creatures appeared running in the man''s position. Zheng counted each of them in his mind, ''1,2,3... 9!'', and he was shocked beyond belief. The nine creature positioned themselves in a circular formation as the man and Zheng being in the middle. Zheng who was standing in the middle, felt the heavy pressure emitting on the nine weird creature''s body and each of them more terrifying than the next. Zheng¡¯s face was pale and drenched in sweat. In just a single day, Zheng could not count how many times he was shocked. ''This world crazy.'' "Please stop teasing him. You all need to behave when someone came here. Don''t just jump into conclusion." The pale-skinned lectured the nine creatures. Each one of them covered their head in embarrassment. Soon, the pressure emitting on their body vanished like smoke. The red-furred monkey. But that was all in the past. To be more precise, Zheng wants to bury that experience at the bottom of the earth. Volume 1: Chapter 6 Revelation Zheng looked at the nine weird creatures one by one. He was mesmerized by their appearance. Though they were cute. The first one was a sandy-brown colored tanuki, with black cursed seal markings all over its face, body, and tail. It has a jagged, concave mouth with no tongue, and the sclerae of its eyes are black, with yellow irides and pupils that each takes the shape of a black four-pointed star with four black dots around it. The second one was a young flaming kitten. It is like a bakeneko(1) and is completely engulfed in flames, like a Kasha. It also has heterochromatic eyes, the right being yellow and the left being green, similar to an odd-eyed cat without pupils. The third one primarily resembles a large turtle, but with a crab-like shell, spikes all over its body, and three shrimp-like tails. Under its shell, it has red, muscle-like tissue. It has a pair of human-like arms and hands, but no hind-legs. His face is concealed between a large forehead and lower jaw ¡ª both of which have spikes. Its eyes are red and have crimson pupils. In the anime, the eyes are red with yellow pupils. The fourth one, it was the red-furred monkey. The fifth one primarily resembles a white horse, but with a dolphin''s head. It has two pointed long horns and three shorter horns in front. The ends of its horns, hooves, and tails are tan, with some of the same colored spots before the tan areas of its horns and hooves. It also has red markings under its dark blue-green eyes. The sixth is an enormous white ¡ª with a light blueish tint ¡ª bipedal slug with stubby arms, feet and six long tails. It has two prominent optical tentacles (eyes) and hole-like openings as a mouth. Its entire body is covered in a thick, slimy substance. The seventh resembles a blue, armored kabutomushi (2), with six of its seven tails resembling green insect wings, along with an actual seventh tail, all growing from the end of its abdomen. The eight is an ushi-oni(3) with four long horns on its head, similar to that of a Jacob sheep(4). And the last one is a kitsune with nine long swiping tails. It has red-orange fur with black fur around its eyes that stretches to its ears, red irises with black slits for pupils and the upper-body structure of a human, complete with opposable thumbs on its clawed hands. Suddenly, weird images appeared on Zheng''s mind, but all of those are blurry. No matter what he tried, those images are unknown to him. But one thing caught his attention. That was when he was just 4 years old. While browsing the internet in his room, Zheng accidentally saw a popular anime series dated back 300 years ago. The title of the anime is called Naruto. Little Zheng watched it out of his curiosity. But Zheng''s mother noticed him watching it, she suddenly disconnected all the wirings and then scolded the little Zheng. His mother said to Zheng that never watched that anime again. Due to his fear, Zheng obeyed his mother''s advice. Little Zheng cried the whole day because he never had the chance of finishing the first episode.
