《I Guess I'm An Angel Now》 Awakening Chapter 1: Where am I? It''s dark, did I die? The first thing I need to do is remember who I am, who am I? The void around me turns into a familiar office. With a light brown wooden floor and a similar color desk with an old man sitting there. I guess that¡¯s going to be god just like in all the books. "Hello I¡®m god, or at least one of them." Yep I thought so, how should I should I respond, "Hello I suppose this means I¡¯m dead, and it was an accident?" "Yes I apologize I did not mean for you to die so to make it up to you I¡¯m going to give you another life but it can¡¯t be in the same world you just died in." Ok so its how I thought I guess it''s fine then not going to hold it against him for long but if the new world is sub-par I¡¯m not going to be happy. "Ok so I guess we can skip the rest of this if it¡¯s like the books you give me some kind of gift and send me on my way, so send me away and I¡¯ll figure out the rest when I get there." "As you wish." The world blacks out again and it feels like weeks pass as I feel my body shift taking a physical form once again. Strange, it feels smaller then I remember. I look around it appears I¡¯m in a cave I don¡¯t see any lights yet I can see just fine. The cave has metal bars of some kind blocking the exit so it seems I¡¯m a prisoner.

Clink clink clink it sounds like someone is coming, I guess I have to read the rest of it later. I see a group of 5 people come towards the bars locking me in, and one of them walks all the way up to the metal bars while the rest stand a bit behind them, and pulls some tools out and in 30 seconds the door is open, I watch the group as they walk in the first one to enter appears to be wearing armor made out of metal with a shield and sword the shield has a symbol that looks like a blue dragon the same symbol is on his armor¡¯s left shoulder, soon after him walks in a girl she has a giant axe slung over her shoulders and is staring straight at me scars cover most of her skin, both of them look human, after them walks in another pair of humans they are both wearing robes with a staff one of them has a staff that looks to be made of wood and the other has a staff that seems to be made of metal. I look around I thought there were 5 of them. As I¡¯m thinking this, the one in heavy armor walks over and says, Find this and other great novels on the author''s preferred platform. I don¡¯t know what he''s talking about but he looks at me with pity in his eyes and it seems like he really cares, but I don¡¯t know what he is talking about so how should I respond he is treating me like a little kid so I will go with that. "I¡¯m sorry I don¡¯t know what your talking about mister, did something bad happen to me?" that might work. He looks down with saddened eyes and asks, "Do you remember your name?" I¡¯m told to follow them so I follow after a while I see them fighting with other people that are wearing black robes and chanting spells, one of the people in the group that escorting me shouts "fire bolt!" and I see a beam of red light shoot out of her finger

Wait what why did I just unlock 3 things? 2 skills and a spell? I don¡¯t think I did anything to lead to gaining skills, and I definitely didn¡¯t use magic. That doesn¡¯t make sense well I guess I should test out the spell so I need a target, I suppose I should just target the same one she did I try thinking fire bolt but sadly it didn¡¯t work. SoI have to say it aloud to cast a spell oh well, "Fire Bolt" I whisper as quietly as I could but it seems everyone around heard as they turn to look at me and then look back to the group they were just fighting but they are not there anymore and in there place is just a pile of ash.

Well that¡¯s a wall of text it says I unlocked a new class and leveled the spell to 5 I wonder if that¡¯s any good? I guess I will ask the one who cast it first "So I know this might be a stupid question but is getting fire bolt to lv 5 a good accomplishment?" Lets go home {Vita} What the hell was that? I was watching the fight and I heard the little girl we just rescued cast a spell. I had my brother check and he confirmed that she did not have a class nor did she have any spells or skills when we first found her, she should just be an unawakened. We just got close enough to the necromancers that I could cast a spell I chose fire bolt because I¡¯m still working to get it up to level 5. I cast the spell and it has an impressive effect it seems to take about half the HP from the necromancer then I hear the little girl curiously whisper ¡°fire bolt¡± and point at the same necromancer and 7 bolts of fire came out and turned the necromancer and his undead bodyguards into ash all of them with a first tier spell! I mean I would understand it if it was lv 10 or 20 but then she just looks at me and asks if getting the spell to lv 5 is a good accomplishment, if she did that with an un-augmented spell her fire affinity must be insane but she would have been picked up by a guild or private teacher if she ever was at a town or city. She looks like just a normal 5-6 year old kid but if she is that good with an un-augmented spell then she must be from a bloodline. That¡¯s the only possibility, but why would she still be unawakened I thought they awakened all of their kids? No maybe she is awakened, how else would she have cast a spell¡­? {Tahlia} After I asked her if getting the spell to level 5 was a good achievement she simply said nothing and stared so I suppose it is. Or it might just be a really stupid question and she doesn¡¯t want to insult me. Well let¡¯s take a look at those augmentations that reaching lv 5 with the spell got me.

Wait why is Extra dart already at level 6/10 that¡¯s higher than it should be right? What should I increase or should I ?wait? Exploding sounds cool but only if I have to get in to combat Igniting would be more useful out of combat and with the pacifist trait that I have that should be my priority. Well then how about both so if I increase exploding and igniting then I should be good for both survival and combat. Ahhh that hurts it feels like someone lit a fire at the base of my skull, is my pacifist trait scalding me for thinking about combat? Maybe for attacking someone? Oh well nothing I can do about it but grit my teeth and wait for it to go away. After about 10 minutes the burning feeling goes away and I feel my bonus from pacifist fade away to nothing. I should finish trying to augment my spell.

I reach out and poke no before trying to change it to upgrade igniting to level 10 and a similar notification appears but this one shows that it will cost 9 skill points to level it from 1 to 10, so it seems that it is a one to one trade for this, checking with Exploding shows the same thing it will cost 10 points to raise it from lv 0 to lv 10, Extra dart would cost me 4 points to get it from lv 6 to lv 10. Not knowing how to come by more skill points or how much they are worth to me yet, I hold off on maxing everything and raise both Igninting and Exploding to level 5. The group escorting me is now looking at me with scared faces instead of pity filled ones but it doesn¡¯t bother me, I just need to pretend that I didn¡¯t do anything and just be an innocent little girl, ¡°Is there something on my face mister?¡± I ask the guy in heavy armor after he stands there staring at me for a while. He jumps back and bows in front of me and says ¡°Forgive me I did not realize you were from a Bloodline.¡± Bloodline? What is he talking about? Oh well guess he thinks I¡¯m a noble or something. Soon the rest of the group is bowing to me. That¡¯s odd, I still don¡¯t see the fifth member of the group. ¡°Hey, I was wondering where is the fifth member of your group, I saw him when you guys opened the door but I haven¡¯t seen him after that?¡± If this is like a game then he is either an assassin or a thief. ¡°Well he tends to work better in the shadows so we have him scout out in front of us and behind us to prevent ambushes.¡± The man in the armor replies. The rest of the time in there with them is uneventful, they all started to act more protective of me then before I used that spell I guess they really do think of me as some kind of royalty or nobility.This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there. Well we walk I do the math and assuming that it takes me 4 seconds for each cast which sounds about right, I didn¡¯t time it last time but next time I cast it I will try to remember how long it takes, but using the 4 seconds as an estimate then every minute I would be able to do, 5,525 Fire damage in a minute, this would cost me 30 mana, meaning I can do it twice before needing to recharge, so that is 2 minutes of attacking for 11,050 Fire damage, then I could do it again after 2 minutes allowing me to alternate between attacking and resting for equal amounts of time. Or I can attack for 1 minute every minute of rest but that would not allow me to reach max mana, not that I think it matters.

If I was to assume that 10 is average then I have a really good intelligence but I already knew that but I would have thought that my DEX would be lower than that¡­ though I¡¯m not the type to complain about being better at something then I thought. When we get outside we are in a forest the trees are about 60-80ft tall and dense I probably shouldn¡¯t use my fire magic here don¡¯t want to start a forest fire. We walk for a while encountering a group of people in the forest claiming to be guards looking for the Rimrige family¡¯s daughter when they say that their eyes come across me and go really wide and they say, ¡°You have already found her? Well then we will just take her and be on our way back to her parents, come here we will help you get back to your parents.¡± Who are these people they say that they''re here to take me back to my family but I don¡¯t think I should just trust a group of people who claim to be guards with no prof so lets ask, ¡°Um, excuse me, do you have any way to prove who you are and not just imposters?¡± They look surprised when I question who they are and quickly produce a symbol it looks like a bridge over a flowing river with a lone woman who looks to be about 25 standing on the bridge. I don¡¯t recognize it but it looks like the people I¡¯ve been rescued by do and they bow down I¡¯m left standing and still not sure if I should trust them when the guy in armor who I learned his name is Alvar says ¡°Of course now that we have verification of who you are, we would be willing to send her with you after all we want to get her home as well.¡± Well shit that wasn¡¯t supposed to happen I don¡¯t really want to go but having the benefits of a noble family is going to be useful and this body¡¯s mother I mean my mother is probably worried about her daughter. After the 5 days we come to a large mansion I freeze when I see it I was expecting them to be rich but not rich enough to have a literal castle but I wont complain if I get to use the resources my self. Ok so she¡¯s a fire mage and a powerful one if I had to guess and now let¡¯s check the man:

So he is a wind mage ok well if they are my parents and focused on their highest affinity then that would explain why my highest are wind and fire affinity. The woman is objectively pretty, she has deep red eyes almost the color of rubies, silver hair that looks to turn red at the tips and barley hides her long pointed ears, her skin is pale almost snow colored, with a distant almost sad look on her face. Is she an elf? I would have to guess snow elf based on the ears and snow like skin. The man looks to be human he has short brown hair and pale skin but its not nearly as pale as the elf¡¯s skin. His eyes are an ocean blue but not the deep ocean you get out in the depths more the light blue that you can see through in the shallows. They are both wearing fancy clothes Blaze is wearing a red and white dress while Nirav is wearing a blue suit. They both have a grimace on their face as though they are not happy I¡¯m back, I suppose I need to be careful of them. In front of them is a boy who has brown hair that fades to silver going just past his ears he has skin that is pale, more so then the man but not quite to the same level as the woman. He is wearing comfortable but fancy looking clothes. His eyes are heterochromatic, his left eye is ocean blue but unlike his father he has a deep ocean blue that holds a vast unknownness, making you feel terror when looking in to it, his other eye is the red that shows when someone is angry in tv or comics, but unlike the color seems to mean he has a kind face, he seems to care about me unlike my parents. So I decide to play the scared girl, which should be easy to just think of them as if they were my own parents¡­ well here goes nothing. I stroll over to my brother with my eyes pointed down and hug him. (Igor) ¡°Your sister is returning home¡± when I first heard the news I was exited the one person that wasn¡¯t trying to get me killed, sell me, or buy me was coming home. Being from a bloodline I¡¯m a powerful mage and having the rare class Apprentice means I learn all magic 2 times faster. With that combo I have a guaranteed future, but I don¡¯t want to be sold out to a different family to merge two bloodlines sure if I went with that my kids could easily be some of the most powerful people ever for the next generation and maybe even a couple after that but I don¡¯t want to live that kind of life I would rather take over the family and use my power to rule a kingdom and pick who I want to spend forever with. Being a Half-Elf I would out live most of this country, allowing me to make the changes that are required to get rid of slavery, get rid of anti-demi human programs and maybe even build it up to be a super power and not need to worry about war. But all of that is beside the point my sister is coming home the only one that doesn¡¯t want me to expand the family to include another bloodline. She disappeared one night about 2 weeks ago and my family pretended that nothing was wrong, they never cared for her as she never showed aptitude for the attack spells that our family is prided on, but they don¡¯t know her true talent. They just kept up appearances, I was crushed the only member of my family I liked was kidnapped so I had to find her but my parents wouldn¡¯t allow me to search for her so I had the guards of the family look around the forest that she normally plays in. After 2 weeks we finally found her she looked like she was tortured she has new scars and her clothes were in tatters but she was smiling and inspecting us and after she just stood there for about 3 minutes she walked over and hugged me she actually hugged me. It was like a dream come true my sister hugged me first she normally ignores me in front of others but she just hugged me so I hugged her back. ¡°You are going to be safe now you are home, nobody can hurt you here.¡± When I whisper that she seems to relax a little. She looks pretty much the same she is short even for people her age her ears are slightly pointed and she has silver hair fading to ice blue near the tips with pale skin much like our mother¡¯s she had our fathers eyes. When I first saw her today I saw the intelligence in her eyes she seemed to be sizing up the family starting with mom and ending with me. (Tahlia) When I hugged him he seemed to freeze for a second then hugged me back. After a minute we go inside and they have the servants take me to the baths and helped me bathe. During the bath I asked what I had to do today and they told me that it was basically just a normal day I would be free to spend time how I wanted after I got dressed and studied magic theory in the library. After the bath I got dressed by the servant into a fancy dress that was ice blue, they put my hair up into a ponytail, they give me a bag that matches the dress and my hair it was rather small but when I inspected it with angelic vision it claimed to be a Weak Bag of Holding with a capacity of 100 pounds. I look young, and elven. If I had to say so myself quite pretty silver hair that turns ice blue to match the dress and bag pale skin almost snow white but not entirely part of my face is a light pink like it was scarred just under the left eye. The library is massive I mean literally more books then I have seen in my full life and I basically lived in a college library there must be more than 16,000 books in this room most of them seemed to be on magic or different skills and classes available in this world. It seems like I need to start reading even if I got my reading skill from earth transferred to this world that will still take me 8 years to read all of them if I don¡¯t sleep. So I don¡¯t think that is a reasonable goal but I might as well gain all the knowledge I can, starting with the classes and skills, magic would be useful but I have the pacifist trait and that says just skills so I should focus on those well I figure out if magic is affected or not, that times .5 extra per day will definitely be useful well I was told to read about magic theory so I might as well start with that I can read in my free time anyways. I spend the next few hours reading about magic theory and earned the new skills:

After I read the magic theory book that they gave me which were kind of interesting, I still think I want to know the types of skills out there before the theory of why magic works because If I can''t fight them I¡¯m going to need to have the knowledge to protect from them, during my free time I decided to go for a walk outside away from the books as I¡¯m walking away from the library my brother asks me if he can go with me I see no reason not to and maybe he would be willing to let me use him for a test or two. lets get some skills (Tahlia) We walked around the forest for a little while until I was sure we couldn¡¯t be seen or heard then I turned to him and told him ¡° Ok this should be far enough, I have some experiments I need your help in completing. He says, ¡°You can¡¯t just share the trait you would need to share all of your status screen.¡± ¡°Ok I will show you the status but you must promise to never tell anyone what is on it.¡± He agrees I don¡¯t have a reason to think he is being dishonest but at the same time I don¡¯t have a reason to believe him either. Oh well ¡°status share Igor¡± ¡°you should see a trait called pacifist that is what I¡¯m testing I¡¯m trying to figure out what breaks the streak before it gets any higher.¡± He stares at me for a few seconds and then says, ¡°What the hell, since when are you a fucking angel with two I repeat two traits! And Pain Tolerance IV 25/60 EXP Still having 9 HP left I decide to head home well thinking about what I should put my ability points into more CON would allow me to take more damage, END would up my HP regeneration, DEX would increase my balance and overall coordination and speed, STR would increase my overall strength and stamina, INT is mental speed and well intelligence guess even this world calls me a genius, WIS is resisting mental strain and mental attacks, WILL is apparently for all my social aspects like talking to people and persuading them to well everything, LUCK is pretty obvious it is how lucky you are guess I¡¯m not the luckiest person. I have 22 ability points, which are a one to one change. Seems I get 1 point per every level after the first one I would like to put them into luck but that one seems to be locked at 6 for some reason. Oh guess were already back to the mansion/castle what ever they call it. After that day I have almost finished reading the books on entry-level magic theory and got Speed-Reading III 8/40 And Photographic Memory II 19/20 I spend the next week training my skills and at the end have: Slashing Immunity V MAX/MAX Pain Immunity V MAX/MAX Photographic memory V MAX/MAX Speed-Reading IV 200/280 EXP So those are good I can now remember everything I have read and what page it was on and cant get cut which is nice, I decided to put some point into con I know it might not make since but if I think about it I don¡¯t want to die so being able to take more damage is nice in keeping me alive I also put some into end getting both of them up to 12 for 8 points apparently being cut repeatedly is great for your stats. That left me with 12 points remaining and got my pacifist bonus up to 11 times the EXP and if you add that 5 times from my other trait I get a times 16 to all non combat EXP but cant learn any combat ones right now oh well it¡¯s a really useful thing that resistances aren¡¯t considered combat skills so I should just keep grinding those well I should keep grinding resistances and learning skills. I guess I will just keep doing this for the time being. We start doing multiple resistances at one time this week we are going to be doing Piercing, bludgeoning, and fire resistance. The week after we are going to do cold, lightning, and force resistance. He unfortunately doesn¡¯t know any spells with the psychic, radiant or necrotic damage types, I do get the rest of them up to immunity after a month to raise poison he brought multiple types of weak poisons and some slightly stronger ones and he also brought alcohol (for himself) but he claimed I was still to young to drink it and I agree. The other skills I got max on would be Speed-Reading, Study, Organize, Note taking, Common, Writing, Elven, Draconic, Dwarven, Acrobatics, and stealth. Overall it was a really productive month. I spent as much time in the library alone as I could and learned focusing on monsters because I want to put my class monster tamer to use and I learned that there was a lot of types of monsters but most importantly I learned about a dragon who supposedly is considered a legendary SS class monster don¡¯t know what that means but it sounds like something I want to tame. I decided to find some necrotic, radiant and psychic damage type spells that I could train resistance with so the first place I should cheek would be a temple so lets go find my brother and see if he knows of one to take me to. I spend about an hour looking for him before I find him in the study getting taught magic and when I go in there I see the person teaching him look displeased for a split second but quickly regains her face as if the displeasure was just a trick of the light. ¡°Hello, what can I help you with today?¡± she asks and I think for a second and then sit next to my brother and say ¡°I was going to pick up my brother and see if h could take me into town but I guess it will have to wait for his class to be done, do you mind if I join in?¡± she looks surprised and then says ¡°well, you can join in but if you don¡¯t understand it just wait until after I help your brother as he is my student.¡± ¡°Ok I understand.¡± Well let¡¯s learn magic today I guess but still need to go to the temple and maybe the adventurers guild but I think that one can wait. The class was fairly simple and easy to learn but it seems my brother is having a bit more trouble then me it was simple speed boosting magic but that can come in handy so I learned it and manage to get it up to level 5 and unlocked the upgrade list but that¡¯s for a later date. After the class my brother and I head off to town. It takes about 15 minutes to walk there the only reason why we walked instead of taking a carriage is I wanted to get more used to the forest around town and prefer travelling by foot then carriage. When we get to the gate I go to stand in line but my brother grans my hand and leads me to the quick line and when the guards see him they let us into town welcome to the guild (Igor) When we headed into the forest she showed me her status but it had to be a lie I mean I always thought I was lucky well I mean I am lucky I have a 20 luck but still that¡¯s not what I mean she had 2 traits I mean I have 1 and that¡¯s impressive most people don¡¯t have any, my trait is Flaming Tornado: You are a force to be reckoned with you have the talent for magic of the fire and wind schools you can become the most terrifying person in a group given enough time, you gain all fire and wind spells 2 times quicker. And she has two traits and both of them are stronger then mine!!! Her first one is 5 times to all skills, is that even possible? I mean given the name and her race maybe. She is an angel sure only half but an angel nonetheless. Her trait is God¡¯s Favored she is God¡¯s favored so the bonus from that one is explainable but the other one that is something the crafting guilds would go to war for well maybe that¡¯s not the best wording sense the trait is Pacifist: you have the belief that fighting and confrontation can and should be avoided you gain all noncombat skills .5 times quicker and all combat skills .5 times slower for every day you avoid combat and confrontation. So yeah that is something that people would well, I guess I can¡¯t say kill for but you get it. That is something that would be worth the lives it took to acquire it if she wasn¡¯t my sister and smarter and better at social then me I might have considered trying to figure out how to get that myself but for now she is my sister if I need her help ill just ask. She spends some time convincing me to ¡°help¡± her, and if it works she would be un-killable so I try it and she said it works apparently defense doesn¡¯t go against her Pacifist trait so we spend about 9 seconds and then she says she got both the pain resistance IV and the slashing resistance IV after I cut her arms and hands 5 times total with a dagger she got both of them 1 level away form max! Only 5 attacks got her to level 4 in two skills!!! I don¡¯t know why we stopped but she decided to call it a day and head back to the house so I go with it but when we get there she goes into the library like she doesn¡¯t even care well she probably trying to ¡°keep up¡± with her homework or just maintain appearances either way doesn¡¯t matter to me I need to figure out something to eat and then what type of damage I can inflict to give her resistance against. I start gathering all the types of damage I can. I can use the dagger for both slashing and piercing maybe even bludgeoning but that would be better to use just a rock or something I already have fire spells and a frost spell, lighting I can use the electric enchant on a sword force I have a spell for poison is the last one I want to try but I have someone I can ask to get it for me I¡¯ll ask them for acid as well. And that should cover most of it still wont have a radiant, necrotic, or psychic damage. But that should be fine we can always figure those out later we spend everyday going out to the forest farther then we did the first time and spent about 3 hours a day out there she said it was to maximize the skills she gained while spreading them between useful and survival based ones I don¡¯t know why she claimed survival based ones were not useful but she soon got to the point that she could jump and do flips better then everyone I¡¯ve seen but I cant always see her so it seems she has picked up the stealth skill . We drain most of her HP on resistances and what time wasn¡¯t spent on that she spent studying a book or taming a monster she wanted to do a test and had the monsters she tamed fight the monsters out in the wild and I don¡¯t know why she did that but she seemed exited by the result. She now has the wolf that she had when first coming back home stay with her at all times. We did that for a month and she claimed to be immune to the damage from all the attacks I was using and the popup that said I did 0 damage to her any time I attacked confirmed it. After that she cut back to only 1 hour in the forest with me and instead started researching more in the library which I think she has started sleeping in or maybe she isn¡¯t sleeping I wouldn¡¯t be surprised if she just stayed awake all night with a sleep suppression skill or spell and read but whatever. She helps me with my homework and somehow taught me more effectively then any other teacher I have had I mean she just seems to know the answer to the question off the top of her head but if she doesn¡¯t she just flips through as many books as it takes in 5-30 seconds and then tells me the answer. She¡¯s like a blessing with her help I have gotten a lot better at magic and all I have to do is help with a few odd requests, like cutting her or taking her places. With her help I might just have enough power to take over the family, well I guess I should wait until I learn everything I need to know. Or more accurately she learns everything she thinks would help. My sister came into my wind magic class and the teacher seemed to be displeased by that, but she allowed it. After about 10 minutes of the teacher explaining the sell to me my sister could already cast it, why the hell does she have such a cheat oh well at least she is on my side for now. I asked her to teach it to me, and she managed to teach me the spell in about an hour I only got it to level 1 but still my teacher has been trying to teach me this one for a week with minimal success. After that class she asked me to take her into town so I was going to get a carriage ready but she wanted to go on foot so we did. When we got close to town she was heading to the common entry but I grabbed her hand and brought her to the express entry so we got into town in less than 5 min. (Tahlia) As soon as we get into the town I take a quick look around it seems we are in the cheaper area I ask the guard that was assigned to protect us, ¡°Is the temple or the adventurers guild closer?¡± he thinks for a second and answers ¡°The adventurers guild would be closer but are you sure you want to go there? The temple would only be about 5 minutes farther then the guild.¡± My brother just waits for me to decide he seems to not really care, ¡°Ok lets go to the temple then to the guild after that.¡± I decide that going to the temple would be better for right now but both are important. So as we head off when we get there the guard and my brother says they will wait outside for me. Apparently this country only worships one god when I head into the church I see a group of people praying so I wait near the front for them to end their prayer. After about 5 min and a new skill they are finally done praying and the one that was leading the prayer says, ¡°Hello, how can I help you.¡± Well what do I say how about ¡°I want to learn how to heal people, can you teach me?¡± he looks surprised at my question and thinks for a second and then says ¡°It requires the life affinity to heal people magically if you don¡¯t have it the best I can do is teach you how to do it non magically, are you ok with that ¡°yeah, I have the life affinity and the light affinity.¡± ¡°Really you have two affinities? That is impressive, I hope you don¡¯t mind me doing this its not that I don¡¯t trust you but I need to confirm before I spend time teaching you so can you put mana into these crystals. This one will show me your affinity for light and this one will show me your affinity for life.¡± Ok so classic mana crystals I guess just like in all the books well lets test it. ¡°Ok, I can take your test.¡± I say sounding nervous as I grab the two crystals and when I go to put mana into them, I start with the light affinity and put mana into it and the room gets really bright originating form the crystal and the head person looks really surprised and tells me to stop so I stop and then put the mana into the life crystal and the crystal grows a brilliant green color and the entire room is speechless. I hand back the crystals to the main guy and ask, ¡°Did I do something wrong?¡± he looks at me and says, ¡°No, you did nothing wrong but if you want I can make you the head disciple of the church with your affinities by the time your 12 you should be able to match the head priests but you will still need to rad the holy scriptures and learn holy magic.¡± Great now I can learn to heal and that should be something that an adventuring party needs. ¡°Ok you don¡¯t mind me learning today do you?¡± ¡°No I have no problem with that but before we can teach you magic, you need to know the holy laws so please read the scriptures.¡± Ok so basic stuff I need to know how the scriptures claim the world works. ¡°Ok.¡± I take the book he is offering me it only has 700 pages it would take me 7 minutes to memorize and take notes on it so lets go sit down and read.If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. I go to the main priest and show him my notes and he asks me questions he is surprised that I could read it that quick and have it memorized but after he asks me about 50 questions and I answer them all correctly while citing the page it was on he says that I can go on t learn magic so he brings me to a room and starts teaching me magic he starts with simple spells like Light and other simple spells but when he realizes that I¡¯m doing really well at those he starts teaching me actual healing spells like Small Heal, Restore, Greater Heal. Major heal, Mass Heal, Mass Greater Heal, Mass Major Heal. After about an hour I leave the temple planning to come back and head of to the adventurers guild with my brother who some how convinced the guard we didn¡¯t need them. When we get to the guild we go inside and I head straight to registration and say, ¡°I would like to join the guild.¡± The receptionist looks up and says ¡°are you sure it is really dangerous and not something I would recommend for someone as young as you.¡± After pausing for a second she continues ¡°but if you can pass a test I would have to let you join, so do you want to take the test?¡± ¡°Yes what is your test?¡± I might as well try she looks surprised and then asks, ¡°What is your specialty if you don¡¯t want to say here we can go in to a back room.¡± I guess it should be fine to say here ¡°I¡¯m a healer who uses holy magic.¡± She looks surprised and then says that she needs me to go into the back room with her to test my magic affinities when we get back there she has me put my hand on a multicolored crystal and flow mana into it so I do all the colors light up and she just looks shocked and says she needs to get the head of the guild and so she runs off leaving me in the back room I wait while listening to what the adventurers outside of the room are saying ¡°who does she think she is even if she gets in she won¡¯t be excepted into any groups.¡± Yeah she¡¯s to young for this business.¡± And other such comments well not that it matters I was doing that for my eavesdropping skill and my other perception skills. After about 15 minutes she comes back with the guild master with her I mean that¡¯s how these stories go right well that¡¯s how its happening. When the guild master gets back I¡¯m told o put more mana into the crystal and so I do. The guild master looks at it and his face goes from expressionless to pure surprise and he says, ¡°What the hell that¡¯s not possible you have all of the affinities. As far as I¡¯m concerned your in the guild you just need to show me your skills and I can give you a rank I assume you know how that works, the lowest rank is G then it goes to F which is the point most people start at D, E, C are the main levels people will get to A is advanced at this point each person should be capable of beating a single group of soldiers easily, S is you should be able to fight a whole army, SS is you should be able to easily deal with a whole country, and X is you are able to fight a dragon by yourself.¡± Ok well that makes sense ¡°ok lets take the test.¡± He leads me through the main room and to the gym room as we go through the main room people notice that the guild master is leading me to the test so they follow us into the room. When we get in there the guild master asks me to do a bunch of simple tasks and they slowly get harder until he says that¡¯s enough and has me fight a black bear he summoned so I call my wolves (I have 8 now and 1 alpha) and have them circle in on them and then I go over and stand in front of the summon and smile as it try to bite and maul me only to have no effect as my wolves tear it apart. After that he has one of the necromancers summon a death dog, which I do the same thing stand there and have my wolves fight it. That keeps going on until they summon 3 hill giants and say this is the last test so this time I do the exact same thing as the rest of the times I focus on healing the wolves if they get hurt and have them fight for me while trying to intercept the attacks of 2 of them with the wolves killing the other one then repeat. Everyone is shocked when they summon 3 hill giants which are lv 20-30 each and I just keep healing my wolves and getting hit by 2 of them the good news is my beast tamer class is now lv 10 which is the max for uncommon classes. So I have 34 ability points to spend I think I¡¯m going to put some into WIS because it will increase my MP regeneration, my stats are: STR: 6 +3 DEX: 12 +4 CON: 12 +8 END: 12 +8 INT: 50 WIS: 31 +11 WILL: 15 LUCK: 6 HP: 60/60 (1/m) MP: 100/100 (1.4/sec) STM: 40/40 (10/sec) That should be good when I got beast tamer to level 5 I got the class skill enforced loyalty, and at level 10 I got the class skill part of nature the first one makes it so beasts I tame cant disobey me and the second one means wild beasts wont attack me. After that test they had me show them my magic and so I did I learned quite a few new spells from the temple and some from the library at home after a while they say that¡¯s more then enough and tell me to give them the back of my hand so I do and they use a magic device to but a mark on the back of my left hand and they say that I made it to A class and that they could allow me to go higher but I would have to go to the main guild to test my way up. When I go back into the main room every one is looking surprised at my hand, which has a red A, surrounded with blue and purple snakes with crossed swords behind it. I go over and look at the board for a quest, then some guys come over to me and say, ¡°we could show you the ropes and help you make some quick money.¡± I look at them and say, ¡°I thought you said that I was too young for this business and wouldn¡¯t get into any groups, well one of those things is true I¡¯m not going to be joining any groups, just me and my pets will be more then enough.¡± As I finish saying that I grab a rank A quest to go and kill some monsters who are attacking a village not far from here, and walk to the counter to start it. dragon hunting (Tahlia) I first cane to this new world about a year ago and everyday kept expecting to be pulled out of this dream but luckily that never happened that place was living hell every day I would throw myself into my school work to avoid being home when my mother was awake. When I started school my mother started getting more and more creative in her torture leave no mark cant get arrested from it so she doubled the torture for having to think about how to do it after 3 years of collage I got my bachelor¡¯s degree in both my majors and was working on my doctoral degree in both I was about 12 and 1 year away from graduating when my mother forced me to take less classes because I missed to much ¡°family bonding¡± and so she started to bind me when she tortured me after about 4 months of that I ran away my body broken mind breaking abandoned by my family, neighbors, country, and everyone else I asked for help claiming there simply wasn¡¯t any proof, so I was running for about an hour when I ended up in the school library I picked up a book that was glowing with out any thought and it exploded that was how I died. I then ended up in this world in a 6 year old body that was apparently half-angel. I spent the next year doing research I got my [Pacifist] boost up to 182.5 times boost to all non combat skills and spells, but at the same time I learn all combat based skills and spells 182.5 times slower. I gave up on combat because I have a distaste for it I personally don¡¯t mind lesser creatures fighting such as beasts hunting for food and I don¡¯t mind humans (or the other races) hunting for food but I don¡¯t believe in taking another person¡¯s life for an unjustified reason. In the beginning I focused on my mental skills and managed to get a perfect memory and the ability to read any book I can see in an instant, along with other minor things I just did once in a while or picked up for the hell of it. But more recently I¡¯ve been getting the physical skills like {running} and {swimming} or any other form of physical activity I have been pretending to play with my brother I got most my physical skills up to max and can now see even something invisible, can see souls and heat differences a long with a shit ton of other different vision boosts I had never even heard of.This text was taken from Royal Road. But today I am going to go a talk to a dragon or at least that¡¯s the plan. I have recently gotten permission to view the higher level stuff in the guild as using illusions and some ranked S monsters I tamed I managed to get a rank SS guild membership and read of a dragon that supposedly has vast wealth and knowledge with territory over the size of a country. They have sent groups to go and either kill it or persuade it to help the guild but none have ever returned so they sent out two X ranked people and they were never heard of again so they became terrified and are hoping the dragon doesn¡¯t retaliate. I''m going to go an try to talk to it, it is about a 2 week journey on foot but with my skills and the fact I don¡¯t need to sleep or eat I should be able to get there in about 1-2 days. So I head off to meet the legendary Ra Marun, which I couldn¡¯t help but laugh at when I first read it as when translated to common their name is literally fluffy. So I''m going to go meet and hopefully tame fluffy the dragon. After walking for 2 days straight I come to a part of the forest that when I cross it will put me in the dragons area of rule I can tell from one of the class skills I got from my higher level tamer class so after checking I have all of my stuff which I really didn¡¯t need to do because it is in a spatial ring but I still do it. As I walk in to the forest that quickly gets denser and more filled with mana I have my monsters keep everything but the dragon a way from me as I start jumping from tree to tree and trying to find the dragon I get closer to the center and find there to be a lack of the trees that filled the outside and walk into and the area is immediately filled with fire, I doesn¡¯t hurt in the least. I hear a voice in my head ¡°Impressive young one you managed to survive all the way through my forest and survive my trap you should come find me at the bottom of the dungeon.¡± And as the voice stops talking I see the center of the circler gap in the trees open up and have stairs heading down. So I make sure that all my monsters are with me and head on down as I star walking I get a notification Welcome to ¡°Wonderland¡± So am I to assume that a dragon named fluffy has a dungeon called wonderland well ok then.
