《Goblin Kingdom》 Prologue PROLOGUE Once in the ancient times, when the world was just a lot of volcanos erupting, and there were a few people living in an isolated isle, the only isle that had a proper vegetation and water to host life, there lay a little village of 30000 people, the first ''''kingdom'''' to have ever existed. There was the concentration of all the MANA(the energy of the very world) that existed. Mana is the center of all Magic and later was born the only energy aside from it, BATTLE POWER. Though that''s a story for another time. In this very place they, and by they I mean the first five races to have ever existed(humans, goblins, vulcanic birds, fishes and brutes) lived peacefully, but these peaceful times were going to end quickly. A short time after life came to be, an individual named Jonmar was born. He was a brute, but not the usual red skinned, one-horned, long-tailed ones. No, he was 3 times stronger than any brute to have ever existed; He had two horns, a deep black eye, his skin was blue and he didn''t have a tail. If he had just come to life and lived his life peacefully there wouldn''t be much of a problem. But for an unknown reason, he had a strange feeling, one he couldn''t explain. His heart desired more than just eat, be social, sleep and die. He wanted to dominate over everything he could, he wanted to give orders, do what he wished without any consequences to his acts. That''s how, with his superior talent, he started to gain more and more power to achieve his goal. In a short period of time, he got stronger than all of the 30000 individuals in the isle. Then he started conquering all of the territories, and enslave all of the population just for the sake of this strange feeling. Every time he conquered a territory, his word became the truth in that place. He ruled as a dictator, without any consent for his people. But his brother couldn''t endure him being in the power alone. So secretly his brother, Heaven, created the evil spirits. Heaven imprisoned the souls of all the people Jonmar killed and transformed them into Dark mana, sentient individuals. With that, the first great revolution started. These ''evil spirits'' as he called them, were stronger than most people in the world at that time, as they were born from anger and resentment toward the godking. If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. They fought more and more until there was only a tiny bit left of civilization. In the end, Heaven offered the Godking(his brother''s new nickname)''s subordinates a part of his energy and the eradication of his entire evil spirit army if they rebelled against the Godking; They accepted and with the help of the entire civilization the mighty Godking Jonmar died dramatically. Poor people, little did they know that Heaven wasn''t the least bit better than his deceased brother. He put a seal on each individual alive so that they started using his energy in exchange for their lifeforce, lowering their life expectancy a lot and as if this wasn''t enough evilness he even left the evil spirits alive. The seal he put on civilization was in the coresoul, the very essence of each of them, so they couldn''t break this seal. This very fact allowed Heaven to brainwash people by transforming them into his servants. Heaven would be very satisfied if it wasn''t for the fact that secretly somewhere in the evil spirit army a certain talented spirit was mutating. It was born from an anomaly in the evil spirit magic; Different from all other evil spirits, this special one had Mana and Battle Power as its power. It started to break the evil mana magic slowly and quietly and by the time it got free, It hadn''t been discovered yet. The Demon Emperor, as the spirit was called, ate a bit of Mana here or there for the sake of hiding(by that time, all of the Mana had been transformed to serve Heaven''s purposes). When Heaven found out about the Demon Emperor, It was too late. The Emperor had already secretly created a technique that gave his powers to another individual upon his death. This technique was the most dangerous thing ever, as it was created on the premise of surpassing the limits of the very will of the world that was Heaven. Demon Emperor died and Heaven thought it was okay just to kill his descendants when he found them but he didn''t expect that after some time, the strongest descendant found a way to camouflage the Demon Emperor energy and after he died, the last descendant to have ever existed was born. By the time the world had life all over it. Continent Ember, Kingdom of Acacia, In the middle of an enormous forest, There lay a goblin camp. It was a typical goblin village, without anything much to talk about. In a little and comfortable cavern, in the middle of 50 other baby goblins a little goblin that was just the same short green aberration the others were, with a brown short hair, was born. This baby would be very lucky if he survived, as almost all goblins in their growth period suffered from food shortage, or died when they started hunting. The start Were this a normal reincarnation into goblin story, this is where we would be putting some game-like pop-ups talking about the protagonist''s stats, abilities, etc. But as I''m already breaking the fourth wall right now, I might as well just explain it right away. This world doesn''t have status windows, instant-learn skills, or some common sense, ok now that it is already explained let us continue the story. The goblin woke up and the first thing he saw was the round-shaped and full of wrinkles face of his mother. Goblins had different eye colors, so his mother''s blue eyes were quite different from his red ones. He had an oval-shaped face, with eagle eyes and thick lips. (AUTHOR: Ok, memorize this because I won''t describe his face a lot later) As this novel doesn''t have the reincarnation cliche, this little green animal didn''t have memories from a past life, unique skills, etc. The only thing he had that made an actual difference was that he possessed both Mana and Battle Power, even if he didn''t know it yet. He didn''t have a skill that appeared as normal but later developed into a hack; No, he was just a normal goblin like all the others. ''''Name, Norgolin I choose'''' His primitive mother Noa named him. Norgolin''s father was unknown, as in this goblin society, sex was treated in the same way talking was. If one walked through the little tribe, one would often see one couple or another having sex in public, and they had sex with literally anyone they wanted without much refusal from either the man or the woman. In his first 14 days of life, Norgolin grew as a normal baby. That happened because he hadn''t woken his energies yet so he needed to do it before growing to an adult in 30 days like normal goblins. After his core formed into a rice grain-sized gem he started to get bigger and 9 days later he was the same in comparison to a 14-year-old child, save for the size as goblins were around 1,40m tall at most. His mother Noa, Unlike any other goblin mother, for some reason, cared for him. She educated Norgolin into being more intelligent and of course stronger than any other goblin. That way, he found knowledge something enjoyable to acquire from his birth. This even affected his speech, making him quite the bit less primitive than the other goblins. Life in the village was very boring and unfruitful for a knowledge-loving goblin like Norgolin. Although he talked to quite a bit of goblins, they weren''t very interesting as all they could talk about was hunting, eating, sleeping and having sex.''''Hunted have you today?'''' ''''eat, very good'''' ''''good goblin in bed yesterday'''' Was all they said. The only interesting goblin there was his mother. She was very caring and liked to look at beautiful plants and cook. Norgolin was very happy to have this only parent and learned to appreciate the calm and peaceful way of life. Despite that, soon his story would become very hectic.Did you know this story is from Royal Road? Read the official version for free and support the author. One day after he reached the suitable age he woke up with a strong shout from Noa. ''''NORG, GET UP, IT HUNTING DAY'''' the primitive language resounded in the little hut. He quickly jumped and almost forgot to catch his crude stone knife in his own clumsy way. Today was a special day so Norg had to go toward the center of the village to a big gathering. Our little protagonist was now standing in front of a ''''strong''''(stronger muscles than most others) goblin that had a rough face and blond hair. Indeed, he looked like an experienced hunter. Along with Norgolin there were at least 40 goblins standing and listening to the speech. ''''Now, hunt ceremony begins. Hunt stronger creature you find preference for bigger go and no team, hunt alone'''' The middle-aged goblin, Carlin, spoke. Yes, this is the classic hunting ceremony from all the other novels; It''s just that no subpar goblin society had a different concept from ''''the stronger the better'''' and that''s why most goblin societies didn''t grow a lot, save for the evolved ones. As Norg started to run toward the forest and look for prey for the sake of being the first to hunt, he got lost and didn''t know how to go back. He did, indeed, after a few hours, kill a tiny rabbit with a lot of struggle and fighting, but after that, for some reason, he couldn''t sniffle his way back to the village. One had to understand that goblins relied on their superior sense of smell to go back home as this forest was just too big and had no special thing to use as a checkpoint so goblins didn''t develop a sense of direction. The only thing he could see was that a little far in front of him lay a very strange cave entrance, and he could see from the smell that rain was about to come. ''''rain comes, I look for shelter'''' Was what he thought and for that reason, he entered this strange cave entrance; Inside the dark cave various red light dots shined toward Norg, but he didn''t know exactly why that happened. The poor goblin discovered right away that these lights were the eyes of at least 12 beasts and as an enormous roar that could be heard all over the cave resounded, all of the beasts started to shine and that very fact illuminated the cave. Despite his lingering fear, he could see all of them clearly; they looked like rabbits, but way bigger(like 2 meters tall) and human-like. They stood on two feet just like any normal humanoid and had very, very strong furry bodies as well as two 30-cm long horns protruding from their foreheads and wings twice as big as their bodies in their backs. Their leader had three horns and shone a red light, different from the blue light all others had. Behind the frightening rabbit humanoids stood what looked like a series of holes that served as houses for the rabbits. Their place was very neat and strangely well-built. ''''FUCK, RUN'''' These two words couldn''t exit the goblin''s mouth before the leader rabbit hit him with a mace, rendering our protagonist unconscious. ''''Karak neymarak cainelik amerik popelicon emelicaria(This idiot couldn''t give us any valuable food so I propose we study him; Do you agree?)'''' Leader rabbit spoke in that strange language. ''''vaisiferrAaA mocarion uriosidem iroligist(of course, never seen one of these before)'''' Brownish black-furred rabbit said. ''''aagovasen emecil predelche(I agree too)'''' Purple-furred agreed. Indeed, these humanoids thought about killing the goblin and studying his insides, but this was too hard of a task for little gain. After pondering for a while, they decided to try and learn how much could these species be intelligent to learn, adapt, fight and things like that; That way, they would learn about a possible enemy and gain a slave at the same time. Second-The Armons Norgolin''s eyes slowly opened and he could see the light of the cave again. Right now he was situated at some type of cell that was more like a hole with iron bars, even though the goblin didn''t know what iron was. ''''Stuck, I am. I need to get out'''' Was the first thought, but unfortunately, the cell was just too well-made and the iron bars were too sturdy, leaving no opportunity to escape. This would soon be found unimportant as the goblin looked down and saw a very heavy iron sphere connected to his tiny legs by a very strong type of rope, made by some sturdy vines. ''''Gatio AMOPARE! (get the goblin'''' The voice of the rabbit leader resounded. Indeed, two minutes later there were two rabbit humanoids wearing what looked like a strange stone shaped into armor already opening the cell of our protagonist. Norgolin was carried by the rabbits as if the iron sphere that restricted his movements was as heavy as a feather. Arriving at the destination, it was a chamber with a wooden table and two chairs. In one of the chairs, the leader humanoid sat, with a blue gem in his hand; This gem was as big as a chicken egg and had the same shape, but the strange fact was that although the gem looked like normal, Norgolin could sense a very strange power emanating. This was a new feeling for him because after he was discovered to have the Mana and Battle Power altogether, the leader goblin didn''t let the goblin do anything with them. This was because the goblins thought these 2 energies together meant a curse. VROOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!!!!! the gem suddenly started to vibrate and do a lot of noise, however this wasn''t the strange thing. The incredible part was that right after these events, the rabbit leader started speaking goblin language! ''''Greetings, goblin. My name is Bultharr, the master of the Armonic tribe.'''' Bultharr spoke. ''''Hi, goblin is hungry.'''' Norgolin answered. It wouldn''t matter if he had manners or not in this situation, as he was already a slave and they could kill him anytime they wanted. ''''Ok, so I will go straight to the point. You are a slave. However, if you tell us everything we want AND do what we tell you to do, I can consider setting you free, as I can see from your nude body and weak constitution that you don''t represent any danger.'''' The leader spoke casually. This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there. '''' I''m going to follow your commands.'''' This was the first grammatically correct sentence the goblin had spoken in his life. Maybe it was the effect of this strange gem, but people who lived in this cavern seemed to get more intelligent for some reason. '''' So listen carefully. These are the rules: 1-you can''t walk around and enter any of the chambers without permission given by the one in charge. 2-you will follow anything your instructor/master says, even if it compromises your life. 3-you will not try to escape or use any of your power without authorization. That''s it, Got it? Oh, and one last thing, NEVER, EVER TOUCH THE WISDOM GEM'''' Bultharr spoke slowly. ''''Got it, so let''s start the work'''' The goblin was eager to start working because he would be released faster if he worked more. ''''Good, if you are looking up that much for work, follow me,'''' Bultharr said as he started walking toward the exit. Norgolin was taken to an enormous chamber that could be accessed by going down a big set of stairs; This chamber could be easily acknowledged to be the kitchen of the Armons, by the wood stove, food all over the tables and the Armons preparing the food and such. Norg wondered how many of these rabbits lived here; Just in the way to this very chamber and inside it he could see at least 120 of them. Looks like these 12 in the entrance were just the patrol guards. ''''This is where you will be working until you are free, and you''ll work here for at least 2/3 of your day. The rest of the time you will be either sleeping, eating or being questioned about your race/getting examined. No complaining and no joking around with a knife, you could imagine what would be your fate if you did anything like that.'''' Bultharr explained. Norgolin was given a well-made stone knife, as he obviously wouldn''t receive anything sharper or more dangerous, for obvious reasons. After being taught how to skin, bone, shred meat, etc, the goblin was surprised to see how these tasks demanded a lot of physical force; He took 7 hours(unknown to him, as the sun wasn''t visible in this part of the cave) to skin the first fox and the job was horribly done, what gave motive to the Armons to joke about. One couldn''t blame the little green animal as he wasn''t skilled with any type of cuisine instruments. And that''s how the cooking lessons began; In the kitchen, one learned how to use a knife, hammer(to break bones and treat the meat) and various other things, as well as training the muscles. In this cave, everything was strangely well-built, and for some reason, the kitchen was on the underground. Norgolin didn''t care about this, but he was sure it had some sort of reason. Anyway, he continued his life here, trying to learn as much as possible, while doing everything the Armons said, giving him a lot of fatigue, in exchange for obviously staying alive. In the second month of work, Norgolin surprisingly had made quite a few Armon friends, including one of the cooking apprentices, named Alom; This Armon was very weak compared to the others, he had a greenish-white fur and was quite the idiot, considering the mysterious intelligence of all the Armons. Alom was very strange because despite having many books that he accumulated from the humans he killed without the village knowing(he sneaked his way out at night) he didn''t read any of them. So Norgolin, the goblin that loved knowledge, asked for one book each night, and often lost his sleep reading, as this was the only time he had to read. This way, despite being very tiring, life in the Armons was found to be quite enjoyable and a little bit funny, with Alom''s help in the latter. Time passed by, and this was Norgolin''s life for one year Third-A Normal Day, a Big Discovery The torches beside the cell started to burn, and this was the signal for the goblin to wake up. After this year, many things have changed; For example, his body had become various times stronger, stronger than even the strongest goblin in his tribe. He now had a mature expression, because of all the hardships endured in this year for the sake of being free, and all the efforts were found to be fruitful. Indeed, in just three more months he would get his so precious freedom. After waking up and reading a little bit of the latest book received from Alom, the goblin washed his face and went down to the kitchen; It was work time. He caught the knife and started to skin a big boar with no difficulty at all. The boar was very important because it would be delivered to Bultharr, so all of the processes needed to be twice as carefully and delicate as normal and this just showed how they trusted Norgolin so much to the point of giving him such an important task. With the skinning process done, next was the boning; Hammer in hand, with the help of one of the chiefs, the goblin started to smash bone after bone, carefully choosing which one to break. Now it was time for the rest of the chiefs to work, so Norgolin went to wash the wooden dishes. This gathering was very civilized, but not to the point of having fancy furniture or anything like that. ''''Have you heard? They hunted this boar especially for Bultharr because of his last achievement; He got a Harpy egg! Don''t know how he managed to sneak into the harpy territory though'''' One of the Armons said. ''''What? A harpy egg? Indeed, people are getting more and more daring these days. I remember when we hadn''t found the Knowledge gem, and we couldn''t even make a proper tool, or manage iron, just like our little green friend here, lol. Now our leader can even do crazy things like that'''' Older Armon replied, without missing the chance to joke with the fact of the low intelligence of the goblins. ''''Ok, let us concentrate on this boar right here, enough of the chitchat. Zezin, pass me the sauce, it''s time to be fancy'''' ''''All right F¨¦tto, here it is, take it and stick it on this boar''s ass so our boss doesn''t go complain mode.'''' Norgolin ignored the useless chatting, as he wasn''t in the mood to talk about these strange harpies or retort again the jokes of some idiots. When working time was over, he went to do some exercises with his magic in secret; He used all the knowledge he could get from the books his friend gave and tried to manipulate the Mana and Battle Power at the same time. He could choose the easy way and use just one at a time but he was the protagonist, we know he wouldn''t do that. During the year that passed, he had tried the same thing night after night, and today was when he progressed the most. Indeed, he got to make a ball of each energy in each hand, and with this, he was very happy; Now the goblin could try to develop his next plan, and that was to make an armor of Battle Power while using Mana balls to attack. But even if he spent 20 minutes to create the energy balls Norgolin was all spent. Not a single drop of Mana or Battle Power remained.Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. When Norgolin finally ended all he had to do in the day, he started to wonder...why was he so interested in knowledge? Why did his mom teach him to be like that? Did it happen just because he was the protagonist or there''s something else about it? the goblin also couldn''t understand how the Wisdom Gem made people so intelligent...maybe it was some heavenly treasure that would bring about destruction to the Armon race? Nah, that was too much of a cliche. What about a treasure that he would steal and absorb, making him incredibly powerful? Nope, he couldn''t imagine how to use it, much less absorb it; So how did that little thing give intelligence to him? ''''wait a minute...I remember a day when the Armons where in danger, so Bultharr said the gem ''''told'''' him about it, but if you think about it the gem was supposed to make people capable of discovering things, not revealing these things for them, so there is only one possibility; The gem isn''t giving Wisdom, but teaching them how to do things! and this type of teaching(by dissertating about things, not just putting the knowledge in the brain) must have a sentient being behind it.'''' All of this left just one possibility...The Wisdom Gem wasn''t what they thought it was; Indeed, it was just a magical object used for communicating at long distances! And from this one can assume that there''s someone controlling the Armon tribe from behind the scenes all this time. But this didn''t explain how he got more and more intelligent each day(but that is a story for another time). He could either tell them about his discovery or... ''''Screw this shit.'''' First of all, he was here only because they captured him, so it wouldn''t make him very fond of the race. Second, the only Armon he really cared about was Alom, and he couldn''t tell just Alom because he didn''t trust the rabbit enough for that. Last things last, all of them(the Armons) made fun of him and pissed the goblin every fucking day. So for all these reasons, Norgolin was even happy that they would get screwed up someday. Norgolin immediately went to sleep, with his conscience clear. Fourth-Aloms Life and Trauma It''s a normal day in the cave. Alom has already woken up and is talking to something very strange; It''s actually a hole in the ground. In this hole, two names are written: Anoric and Silmia. ''''Father, Mother, your son is doing very well. Actually, I have even found a real friend, but I''m sure you would laugh at my face if you knew he is a goblin; But don''t be worried, he is very intelligent and gets smarter every day and yes, this is very strange but I''m not in the place to go and ask bluntly for the reason.'''' ''''ALOM, GET TO WORK, BOY! THE HUNTING TEAM WON''T CARRY THEIR OWN FOOD WITHOUT REASON YOU LITTLE LAZY BASTARD!'''' Someone screamed Alom almost shouted in rage when he heard this because this was a very special moment to him that he repeated every day. Alom was a very religious person and had always believed in communicating with spirits and this was one of the reasons for the jokes made about him. Indeed, this was how he met Norgolin, on a day when they both were made fun of at the same time. The Armon put armor on and picked up the backpack; It was working time. Indeed, hadn''t he worked as a walking backpack, the rabbit wouldn''t have known all of the forests and where to go when he wanted to steal books. When Alom arrived, he was greeted with more disapproval from the six Armons '''' You''re late, man. Next time you keep hanging around you will get some beating. Now, this is the plan: we''re going to hunt near the Orc territory so watch out for any pig-like noise, although we aren''t hunting such a big pig today. Our goal is to find a good deer but relax, I know there aren''t a lot of these in this territory. It''s just that in this forest that part is the only one that actually has deer to be hunted; These damn animals prefer to be in open plains.'''' The leader of the expedition, a black-furred Armon with brown eyes and long brown hair named Dango spoke. They departed, and after walking north for what it seemed to be one hour, they actually found a good deer sleeping between two trees. They couldn''t miss this opportunity and immediately readied the two archers of the group. ''''Lora, Lexy, aim for the head and leg respectively; If we miss the head we at least can limit its movement. Quickly, attack!'''' Dango whispered. They aimed for four seconds and shot their arrows. SWOOOOSH, PA! The arrow aimed at the head hit the horn of the deer, and the one aimed at the leg hit its target. ''''UIIIIIKK'''' The deer started to run for its life; It was time for Dango and the warriors of the hunting group to act. They readied their weapons and started to give chase. Indeed, if it wasn''t for the fact that the deer was injured, they wouldn''t be able to run as fast as their prey, but the group actually reached the deer and stabbed another of its legs and it fell to the ground making a loud noise, after that they finished the poor animal. If you come across this story on Amazon, it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. As Alom was carrying all of the group''s luggage, he was still at least 15 meters behind. He didn''t know, but this very fact would save his life in just a little second. VUPT, VUPT!! little noise was heard as the group saw various figures appear out of nowhere. Were it two or three they would be able to handle. However, there were actually thirty armored orcs surrounding them!! The Armon group readied their weapons, ready to fight for their lives. But the orcs were too many. Dango fought bravely and managed to hurt two orcs and kill one before he and his entire group(except for Alom) were massacred by the ones they had previously called ''''pigs''''. The sight of the strong and tall(as tall as a normal Armon) orcs using their maces, hammers and even bows to butcher the group was just too cruel. Probably, these orcs had already found out about the group very early and had been waiting for the moment of happiness after the kill to ambush them and do what they had done. Alom was so scared he almost couldn''t run. Of course, it was ''''almost''''. The Armon ran with all he had and left the big backpack behind, Though the orcs couldn''t care less about one Armon that seemed to be the weakest and just returned to their place. When he reached the cave, Alom reported everything to Bultharr. As Alom was just useless in fighting and it wasn''t his fault, Bultharr decided to leave the matter but one thing for sure was decided: The orcs would suffer. The Armon just sat in his room, without crying or lamenting. This was his own way of dealing with trauma, silence. He kept silent in his mind and mouth for two hours. Unexpectedly, Norgolin appeared; Working time had been though on Norgolin but he still wanted to help his one and only TRUE friend. ''''Hey, don''t sit there like this. They won''t come back from the dead even if you stay silent for years. Get over it, Man'''' Norgolin said. Alom wasn''t a talkative person, but for some reason, he made an exception today and started to talk about his problems. ''''It''s just that I can''t endure any more suffering from dead people. I didn''t even have a friendship with any of them, instead, I hated each and every one of these bastards. But I''ve seen too many people die. My father was a hunter and my mother a tailor, and they died in a very cruel way. The very day they decided to give me a present: a sword, we were invaded by some wolves; my father fought with courage and strength, but he died protecting Bultharr. He was too loyal. My mother died just after because Bultharr, that bastard, wanted to make her his concubine and she suicided in shame. WHY DID THEY HAVE TO DIE SO MISERABLY? WHY ARE GOOD PEOPLE ALWAYS THE FIRST TO DIE?'''' Alom was already crying all he could as he said these last words. Norgolin breathed deeply and said ''''man, I don''t know why, but if your father died like that it was his choice, so you need to be strong and become proud of the attitude he had. In what concerns your mother, I bet she was a good person too, so get over her death and make her proud wherever she is.'''' The goblin gave Alom a big hug and stayed comforting him for some time. Fifth-Fuck,Do a Crazy Choice At the Armon village, it was evening, a very beautiful evening. Everything was going smoothly and there was even the beautiful song of the birds; Nothing was wrong even though later on this would define the meaning of the expression ''''calm before the storm''''. Inside the kitchen, Norgolin worked quite excited about the fact that he discovered how to accumulate energy. It was like this: one day, the goblin was going to skin a fox, but the cunning animal wasn''t dead and he had to kill it ''''again''''. But when he killed the fox, the strange thing happened; Norgolin felt his Battle Power rise up a little. So actually Battle Power rose as the name suggested, by any type of battle. Although the goblin still wondered why the hell his power didn''t increase when he struggled for hours against a damn rabbit at that time. Maybe it was because it would only rise if he killed an opponent that represented danger, as that damn rabbit was a herbivore and didn''t have any type of defense other than its teeth. The only thing left was the Mana but he decided to focus on training the Battle Power to be more efficient without spending unnecessary time. This was the first time Norgolin had done the job so skillfully and there was nothing else to do that he had been given a day off. He chose to go out and hunt some easy-to-kill animals and raise his Battle Power. When the goblin reached the part where the foxes normally appeared and made their lair, strangely there wasn''t even a single fox there. Instead, a few tens of meters away he saw a campfire.'''' A campfire appearing here? out of thin air?'''' The goblin wondered '''' I could accept the risk and investigate carefully or just go away. But if I go away, I''ll miss the precious chance to raise my Battle Power. Fuck it, I never received a day off and today isn''t the day to miss such an opportunity.'''' Norgolin readied his crude stone knife, approached until he reached a safe distance; Then, he climbed up the trees and started to jump from tree to tree, waiting for two or three minutes before jumping to the next tree. Jumping too fast would seem too suspicious, and as the goblin wasn''t as heavy as the Armons or Orcs, he could make it seem like it was just a strong wind in the leaves. However, this wouldn''t prevent noise from happening and the tree branches would still move. It was a danger indeed but screw it. Half an hour later, he arrived at the campfire. There he discovered that it wasn''t just a campfire, but an entire camp; And in this camp after scouting the area carefully for one hour, the goblin found at least 125 well-hidden tents. ''''What the hell? Why are there humans here? 125 tents? If each tent can support 3 humans, that would make 375 of these pieces of shit. From what I overheard in the kitchen, no humans come here without a very special reason; Wait a moment...'''' Right as he was about to complain more about these humans, he saw something very special in the hands of one of them that seemed to be the leader; He entered a beautiful tent guarded by two well-armored guards. '''' A ''WISDOM GEM''! FUCK, THEY ARE HERE TO ATTACK THE ARMON VILLAGE!'''' Norgolin almost shouted and cursed the humans. Why did they have to come just as there were a few days left for his freedom? Shit! ''''Time to go, but wait. Alom is still in the village! I''ll find a way to take him with me...'''' An idea appeared in his head ''''Hell no, I won''t do that, I''m not fuckin'' retarded...but if I come back, they will kill me for sure, It''s past time to return...Fuck, time to go'''' The goblin was too loyal to his friends and did the most dangerous and retarded decision of his life: Stealing the Wisdom Gem and using it to communicate. Norgolin waited until night came, and all the humans went to sleep. He sure had to return, but of course, that didn''t matter anymore. The goblin used All his knowledge from the patrol guards he observed for hours to wait until switching guards time. Sneaking up into a tree located in the center of all tents, Norgolin stopped to plan what he would do next. Five minutes later our green protagonist moved; He didn''t have enough time but had to gamble in the Battle Power, so he started to concentrate all of the energy below the feet. However, a problem was: he didn''t train to create something other than dangerous Energy and the last thing Norgolin needed right now was to create a little explosion and thirty seconds later have at least 50-100 angry humans fighting with him.The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there. '''' If there are any gods, please give me plot armor to learn this shit in two seconds and do it '''' almost going wrong''''...'''' Norgolin started to pray. But the author wasn''t that dumb. In other words, dumb but not cliche. ''''Ah, fuck, go deeper'''' Norgolin heard a loud feminine voice coming from the leader''s tent. ''''That''s it! She is getting the ''D''! thank you plot armor, time to act'''' Patiently, he waited for twenty seconds before they started to climax ''''This idiot is a quick-shooter, and this girl seems to be faking pleasure. Good'''' Norgolin lived in the goblin village for 14 days. It was sufficient time for a smart goblin such as himself to know when someone is faking pleasure. When the girl screamed the loudest, he jumped behind the tent; They didn''t hear a thing, hehe. Now the last problem. Killing the leader wouldn''t be that much of a problem, but what about these guards? For sure Norgolin wouldn''t fight against them; Not even if he was paid for it. A brilliant idea appeared in his mind ''''what a convenient idea, isn''t it author? a goblin that was supposed to be dumb is intelligent, and as if that wasn''t cliche enough, great ideas appear out of nowhere...'''' Norgolin whispered to the skies. The goblin finally used his damn knife for something other than cooking. He waited a little time and sleeping noise was heard. Then the knife was carefully used to slowly cut in the tent a hole wide enough for him to crawl in. Inside the tent, the leader was sleeping soundly, with the hot girl laying on top of him, also sleeping. The idiot leader was fat and had a well-shaved beard with color unknown because it was obviously dark inside, both of them were naked by the way. Norgolin''s heart ran faster than he thought it could; The goblin was now facing his first time killing someone, but instead of feeling fear and disgust, he was excited. Otherwise, he wouldn''t be a goblin. SWOOSH! SPLASH! FUCK! this last one wasn''t a sound, it was actually Norgolin''s thought. Actually, the reason for that thought was that he didn''t know human anatomy to know that if he cut a human''s head, blood would spout from the neck. And guess what? It happened and the girl woke up; Who wouldn''t wake up with a head dirtying one''s face with blood? ''''Ah...'''' before the girl even started to scream, the goblin had already put his hand on her mouth and knife on her neck. Norgolin was so agitated he didn''t think about killing her. Thinking well, he had done too many smart choices until now. It had given him a good feeling of being ''''safe all the time even near danger''''. When something went against the plan, his mind got messy. ''''two choices: go with me to make they think you killed this idiot or I kill you, bitch'''' He whispered; The girl nodded (as he spoke in Armon language and the humans had taught the Armons their own language) and they quickly exited the tent. Just after they ran away with the gem in hands, the guards suspected something and discovered the dead body. An alarm sounded and all the humans woke up. The two of them ran fast, reaching the end of the tents quickly. A bad thing was: all of the humans were searching for them ready to kill. ''''There, the girl and a goblin slave, catch these bastards!'''' A damn guard''s voice sounded and everyone started to run after the two fugitives. But Norgolin was too good with smells and strong as fuck; He carried the naked girl in his arms, running for his and her life. Time to use the Battle Power; Norgolin concentrated Battle Power in his feet and made little explosions before he hit the ground, boosting his speed. Twenty minutes running and the protagonist was far and hidden enough, as well as out of Battle Power. Convenient time to hit the girl''s head to knock her unconscious before going unconscious himself. Repercussion, Warning and Explanation At the human camp, the real human leader, Leonard, was angry beyond reason; Using golden armor with an enormous beautiful green spear at his back, his face which was full of wrinkles contorted angrily and he almost ripped off his white hair.'''' YOU PIECES OF SHIT CAN''T EVEN PROTECT MY ONLY SON FROM A BITCH AND A GOBLIN, IDIOTS!!!'''' ''''My lord, we couldn''t find the girl and goblin. That little green idiot ran with her in his hands and was as fast as a normal horse; We couldn''t imagine a goblin can be so fast. He even used Battle Power'''' Leonard''s army''s captain, Marcus spoke. The air around them seemed to become scarce, and a great flood of energy could be sensed coming from Leonard.''''I was going to wait until these Armons reproduced a little bit more to begin the ritual, but this is the last time I am careless. Call the orcs, the attack will begin in three hours. My son had already ordered Bultharr to start making the magic circles'''' Immediately all the humans started to prepare the ''''ritual''''. Leonard took his time to cry his son''s death, inside his luxurious tent; His old body couldn''t endure the pain of losing another son, after all that passed. He cried and cried until his tears didn''t flow anymore; Not because of a lack of sadness, but cause there were no tears left to cry. All the tears had vanished. ''''I can''t be sad forever. No, I''m a general! I need to continue being strong and get my revenge!'''' Leonard pulled out a Wisdom Gem from his pocket and sent an order to the kingdom. Not to call an army or tell King Seuron about victory as he usually did; Leonard sent an order to prepare the greatest funeral possible. Sadness apart, they began to march toward the Armons. Although they didn''t know if Bultharr had completed all the tasks given by Leonard, no one questioned Leonard''s order to be faster. ~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~~//~//~~// While all of this happened, Norgolin and the ''''prostitute'''' named Laura walked peacefully somewhere deep in the forest...Now that he got to stop and analyze, this girl was quite the hot beauty; Long blonde hair along with blue eyes, curvy body, big breasts and a round butt that would make other girls die of envy. His superior sense of smell didn''t help a lot since this was an unknown part of the forest to the goblin, so any smell here would be new. ''''Do you know anything about this part of the forest, girl? Norgolin asked ''''No, not a lot; I''m just a normal chemistry scholar, so I wasn''t exactly given a map of this place.'''' Laura answered ashamed of being so ''''useless'''' ''''It''s ok, but one thing you need to tell me for sure: why are these stupid humans here?? from what I know they wouldn''t come without a very good reason,'''' Norgolin asked his voice getting angrier each word.Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author. ''''Oh, that I know; They are here for the ritual.'''' She said in a relaxed manner. ''''What exactly is this damn ritual and why did they teach Armons so much before coming to do it?'''' He went directly to the point, no beating around the bush. ''''I know it''s actually very strange, but it is for the sake of something called evolution. We offer a civilization intelligent enough to develop themselves and have political organizations, moral values, etc. The magic circles absorb all Mana, body and being of the race, returning such things in the form of an evolution for one human. When one evolves, one is granted a bigger ''''Mana Pool'''' as they call it, and a very big lifespan, as well as some changes in appearance. However, there are two disadvantages: 1- Evolution takes one year to be complete 2- When evolution is complete, the evolved human gets infertile and for men, they get an erectile dysfunction, so they can''t make an entire race of evolved people; The second reason is why the king doesn''t try it, that bastard likes sex a lot.'''' Laura had to catch her breath after explaining all of these things, as she talked quite fast. ''''Hmmm, so that is why they didn''t hurry up. These bastards want to use the Armons as much as possible'''' Norgolin said in a low tone of voice. ''''Last question: how do I use this damn communication gem?'''' ''''channel your mana into it and talk to the gem.'''' Laura taught him. ''''Ok'''' Norgolin immediately started to pout all of his mana into the gem... Three minutes after this process the gem shined. ''''Bultharr, quickly search for an Armon named Alom and ask him to go deep into the forest, as deep as he can, and make a campfire; Order him to stay near the campfire as much time as he can.'''' ''''Now going to a not so serious talk, how the hell did you end up having sex with that fat guy?'''' Norgolin asked ''''You know, I''m very poor, and each year the king orders his knights to go searching for the most beautiful girls they find and bring them to him. I just happened to be one of them and became the king''s concubine since then. This isn''t the worst fact though; King Seuron took a liking for me, and gave me as a present to Leonard, although he is very old. Therefore, I was given to his son. That''s how I ended up with that tiny dick of his in my insides. ''''That''s sad but ok, now time to walk, thank you for explaining all of these things for me. It must have been very boring for you.'''' Norgolin said as he started to walk faster. ()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()() Inside the village, Alom got quite surprised by Bultharr giving this order so suddenly, but he quickly departed. The farther from that cave the better, even more with Norgolin''s sudden disappearance. Alom stopped walking when he reached a place he recognized to be the tribe where Norgolin was born; All of the descriptions Norgolin gave him helped him recognize it. The Armon prepared the campfire and lighted it up. From this far distance, Alom could see the Armon cave shining black, and an enormous black dome of energy being formed; Looks like a great tribulation has arrived. Now he knew the reason for that order... From what he heard that these were strict orders from the Gem, it seems there is someone caring for his safety, and the only one he could imagine to be doing this was Norgolin.
Meeting Again, Challenge Back Home Norgolin and Laura saw the campfire and started to walk toward it. While they were on their way, Laura got quite curious about the goblin. ''''Can I ask you a question?'''' She asked for permission because she knew her state right now wasn''t one of equal authority; She could even be called his slave. ''''Of course, as long as it doesn''t piss me off'''' Norgolin said relaxed. ''''Why are you so calm and even happy with the Armons dying? I understand that you were a slave and wouldn''t harbor many good feelings toward them, but didn''t you have some friends there? And what about the danger incoming?'''' Laura blushed as she spoke. She didn''t like to ask uncomfortable questions. ''''Well, I did have friends there. But they weren''t very close; The only close friend I have managed to escape with the warning you saw me make. So with their deaths, It is one less civilization bothering me. Of course, I know about the danger of evolution waiting for me in one year, but I can''t do much about it. Even if I cultivate 24/7 all year long, I wouldn''t get strong enough to face an army. And all of this sums up with the fact that we are located, from what I know, in the middle of the forest and the only way out that doesn''t involve walking into enemy territory is by going toward the human kingdom, so I am trapped in this forest, the only option is to hide.'''' Norgolin explained ''''That''s really complicated...'''' Laura pondered for a while before continuing ''''Now that I think about it, you didn''t come from the Armons did you? If you have a village, you can ask for help there'''' She suggested ''''It would be a good idea, but those idiots only listen to the chief or someone very important, and goblins are very primitive; Furthermore, I don''t know blacksmithing so we wouldn''t be able to make weapons strong enough to compete against the gear of humans,''''Norgolin said. ''''Well, that would be simple: First, you defeat their current chief and conquer their respect; Then you start teaching them how to properly swing a weapon/understand commands. Even if they were the dumbest of races, it wouldn''t be very difficult to teach principles such as thinking before attacking and not swinging your weapon randomly. As for gear, you could teach them how to use a hammer, as from what I heard you were a cook(AUTHOR: they had quite a bit of time to talk about random things while they walked) and then use high fertility rate to make an enormous army.'''' Laura proved to be quite intelligent, as expected from someone who lived near a king. Norgolin almost shouted in happiness ''''So that''s it! thank you, I didn''t think about such things'''' New motivation seemed to come from Norgolin. He had been a slave almost all of his life, and this was the first time he had a chance to fight for his freedom and had time to plan his next steps. One year of slavery had suppressed his nature that was lively to the point of being childish, and this very nature was appearing again. They kept walking for an entire day, talking about pretty much everything and exchanging experiences. In this time, Norgolin grew the seed of the idea of an organized goblin society in his heart. It was slowly becoming a rock-hard determination. When Alom saw his friend arriving with a hot beauty, he was very happy. ''''Finally, you arrive here, little green aberration!! Haha, I have been pondering about who the hell warned me about that damn magic, not surprised that it was you though.'''' He greeted his friend and the beauty. ''''But tell me now, you pimp, who is this beautiful lady?" ''''My name is Laura, glad to meet you. I am an alchemist scholar, I take it you are Norgolin''s friend, Alom?'''' She said in an educated manner. ''''Yes, glad to meet ya too, my lady. Now explain to me, Norgolin...How did you use the Wisdom Gem, and why are you with this lady?'''' Alom was quite curious. ''''It''s a long story, sit down'''' Norgolin said. All of them sat around the campfire, and Norgolin told Alom all that happened. The Wisdom Gem being a Communication artifact, how he obtained it, why the Armons died, everything. Alom got quite sad knowing all Armons would be used as a sacrifice for some humans, after all, he grew up with them. But he remembered all he had suffered there and this made him relax a little. All Alom needed was some time to process the information. If you discover this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation. After some minutes, Alom started to speak ''''About creating a goblin civilization, I have something to say; We are very near what seems to be your former village, Norgolin. So I suggest you sharpen your knife'''' Norgolin was happy to know about this, so after resting for a while, they all began to walk toward the village. When they arrived at the village, they were greeted by a bunch of goblins with crude wooden clubs and angry faces. ''''I want to challenge to the chief, so take me to him. Don''t make me ask again''''Norgolin ordered. One of the goblins took the initiative to run in his direction shouting like an idiot, and when the goblin''s club was about to reach Norgolin, he caught the club with his bare hands and threw it like it was nothing. For someone who had to do manual labor for an entire year, doing this was as easy as breathing. Then he punched the goblin''s chest so hard the goblin was sent flying 3 meters away. He looked at the other goblin ''''Will you take me to him or not?'''' The other goblin ran away screaming like a little girl. After five minutes, the chief appeared. The goblin chief was a goblin 1,50m tall, bigger than any other goblin. He had a strong build, as strong as Norgolin and had a rough face covered by scars. His eyes were red, his head was bald and he was named Crowder. Both of them stared at each other. Norgolin was 1,40m tall, so he looked small compared to Crowder. ''''Let see you strong as talk say'''' Crowder said with a strong voice. Crowder readied his big stone axe, holding it with both hands. Then he started to charge toward Norgolin, ready to attack. Norgolin''s blood boiled. This was his first time in a real fight, against a strong enemy. He immediately readied his knife and waited for the enemy. Crowder swung his axe vertically, aiming Norgolin''s head. Norgolin quickly dodged to the right, almost getting his arm chopped off. Crowder proved to be very agile, and swung his weapon again horizontally, this time going for Norgolin''s ribs. Our protagonist did his best to defend with the knife, but the axe was just too strong, and the knife broke. He was lucky that the axe was too big, and goblins didn''t know how to make big things sharp, so when the weapon landed in Norgolin''s ribs, two were broken, he was sent flying for 1 meter and hit the ground, but he was still alive. Just with a big cut on his left side, of course. He quickly got up again, just to see Crowder swinging his weapon vertically(again) toward him. His only reaction was to use his final resource: Battle Power. But this time, instead of trying an explosion without certainty of killing the enemy, he decided to use it in another way he had been training. In this very split second, he canalized all of his power into the right arm and used it to defend. Norgolin hoped this crazy choice helped him in any way. And it did. When the axe hit his arm, the upper part actually broke! Crowder was stunned for a little time, and when he regained his composure, Norgolin had already started to do an uppercut using the arm infused with battle power. Crowder tried to defend by putting his hands on the way, but it was too late. Norgolin''s arm hit his chin and his chin broke. The chief fell back and hit the ground. Norgolin used this chance to quickly punch Crowder''s face with Battle Power again, and the chief''s face got destroyed in just one punch. Norgolin was surprised that Battle Power could be so strong if used this way. But then he realized something. The reason why his Battle Power always exploded was because of his lack of control, it was not the proper way to use it. And that''s the reason it was so weak when used this way. However, now he found the right way. Battle Power is actually meant to be used as a boost, not exactly a magic casted toward enemies. His friends ran toward him with happy expressions, but he was so tired and his broken ribs hurt so much that he didn''t have a lot of time to celebrate. He laid on the ground and started to scream in pain. Laura realized Norgolin''s state. ''''Alom, quickly search the forest for a herb 20cm tall, with four leaves that have red stripes. Go!'''' As Alom went running to search the herb, Laura caught a lot of leaves from a nearby tree and started to place them in the cut, to stop blood from flowing. Indeed, she wasn''t a doctor but as an alchemist, she knew a bit about medicine. Ten minutes later, Alom was back with the herb, and she quickly started to knead it in a piece of wood. Right after, she opened Norgolin''s cut ''''AAAAAAHHHH FUUUUCK!!'''' He shouted in pain.'''' ENDURE IT PLEASE'''' Laura answered. then she spread the remains of the herb in the broken rib parts and connected them again. After doing this, she closed the injury again and waited for Norgolin''s body to regenerate naturally. Start Training After two hours of agonizing pain, Norgolin''s blood on the wound had coagulated. He passed out because of the blood loss and woke up just 2 days later, almost eating every rock he could see(of course, after losing so much blood and not eating for two days one could imagine his current state). He ordered some goblins to bring tons of food for him, ate all of it and slept again. Two hours later, Norgolin was revigorated. The wound still hurt, but it wasn''t something he couldn''t endure; He got up and walked toward the door, and when he opened, Norgolin could see his friends waiting for him. ''''Finally, you can walk, damn goblin. I thought you would die after losing that much blood, but you are indeed a hard nut to crack.'''' Alom greeted the goblin with a punch on his good ribs. Beside Alom was Laura, who had a relieved face '''' Thank the gods you didn''t die, I hope my natural glue works on your ribs'''' ''''Thank you, Laura. I know you didn''t have any obligation to save me, yet you did; I am very relieved that you don''t carry any grudges against me.'''' Norgolin said. ''''It was nothing, you saved me from these damn idiots, it''s the least I could do'''' Laura said while blushing so much her cheeks were as red as a tomato. Norgolin finally remembered to check his body for Battle Power; Of course, his Power had risen sharply! if his previous Battle Power could be compared to a cup of water, now it would be a big bottle. However, this wasn''t the biggest gain as what mattered the most was that he learned a proper way to use it and this gave Norgolin something previously unheard of to him: The possibility of a training schedule. One had to know Norgolin had almost no time to train back at the Armons and didn''t know a thing about using his energy, so what he could do was almost nothing. Our protagonist searched for hunter chief Carlin, as he would be very useful when it concerned information; Carlin was an old goblin who had probably explored a good amount of the forest. When Norgolin found the hunter chief, he was eating a big piece of raw meat. Dumb goblin, he thought Norgolin arrived to steal his meat. ''''MINE!"'' Carlin said. ''''Relax, I''m not here to steal. I''m here just for information, so you have to collaborate.'''' Norgolin replied, calmly. ''''Information? What want to know?''''Reading on this site? This novel is published elsewhere. Support the author by seeking out the original. This irritating speech almost gave Norgolin, who had already learned how to speak properly at the Armons, a headache. Nevertheless, he continued '''' use your arm to point out which direction has the most dangerous animals'''' Norgolin knew a thing or two about where enemy territories were located by overhearing old Armons talk, but what he didn''t know was which side would be proper to hunt and which would get he and the others killed; Indeed, luck is what saved him from finding dangerous animals all this time. ''''There, Iron-Tailed wolves; There, spiked lions; There, lizardmen; There, eagle-women'''' Carlin pointed out four dangerous directions, according to what he had experienced. ''''Thank you, hunter chief,'''' Norgolin said and started walking toward his hut; Time for some learning. Laura was waiting for him, as he expected. She looked quite bothered by something. ''''Err, Norgolin, I have something to ask for'''' She said. ''''Of course, you can request anything as long as it isn''t too much.'''' ''''Well, the thing is: I am human, as you can see. But we humans aren''t used to...being naked in front of others... so I wanted something to use as clothing'''' Laura said. She had indeed searched for something on their way here, but she couldn''t find anything similar to a rope to tie leaves or something like that and use. After the girl saw how goblin weapons were tied with vines, she hoped they could get some for her. ''''So it''s like that, I thought it would be something more complicated. There is only one problem: The tree we get vines from is located right next to that damn human camp, so we can''t get it for now,'''' Norgolin had a complicated face as he said that. He didn''t care much about clothing, because goblins didn''t have anything such as shame and the Armons didn''t care about a goblin slave walking without any clothing, so he didn''t consider hiding anything. Even more so when he had an enormous ''''D'''' down there. He continued '''' You will need to get used to it. Sorry.'''' ''''Ah...It''s okay'''' Laura tried to comfort herself. ''''Now it is my time to ask for something; As you know, I am not that versed in things such as basic math, knowledge about minerals, etc. Can you teach me?'''' The goblin said, quite ashamed of himself, as the books he read weren''t for children, so they wouldn''t be teaching basic things like these. ''''Of course, we can start right now'''' Laura felt relieved that it wasn''t something complicated. This was how Norgolin started to learn. One couldn''t teach what one didn''t understand; He had to learn all before taking the next step toward creating a goblin civilization. Norgolin''s routine went like this: At morning, he practiced coating his body with Battle Power; In the afternoon, he had classes with Laura about Math, Chemistry, and general knowledge; At night, he actually went out to hunt in order to raise his Battle Power and train his combat ability. Indeed, this last part almost got him killed(again) when he found a spiked Lion, killing it only after using all of his Battle Power. Every five days, he would reunite with five goblin females he took a liking to, teach them proper speech and fuck with them as well. Yes, after one year without sex, his lust was almost unbearable, so he used this opportunity to release all of it. This gave him a lot of sons, but he didn''t care. That was how he lived for three months. Food Problem, Teaching Goblins and Scouting Norgolin now sat on the ground of his hut, seemingly concerned with something. In these three months, Norgolin tempered himself both in physical and mental form. Now he felt prepared to command the goblins. However, there was just one last problem remaining: food! If he wanted to make an enormous kingdom of goblins, food was essential, even more so for goblins that reproduce faster than any other race. Now came the question: how to get enough food for hundreds, maybe thousands of goblins? Norgolin learned farms were almost always a solution, but not for goblins, if he wanted to feed thousands, land would be needed; What monster race would gently give all of their land to some goblins? Even if they did conquer the land by force, it would always be a temporary solution. Think about it, if they conquered 1 square kilometer of land with 2500 of population and it produced for 3000 goblins (in a very generous estimative) considering population would double each month, in two months they would be starving. A terrifying rate indeed. What if he just ordered goblins not to have a lot of sex? Not even an option, sex was what they liked the most. Take this away from them and you will have all of them trying to kill you. Contraceptives? These were too expensive, just rich humans could use. While thinking about such things, our protagonist discovered goblins seemed to be the favorite food for a lot of monsters. Otherwise, how could they still have just a few less than 100 population? There was just one solution remaining: Magic. One would need to use magic in order to increase the rate of growing crops. Now it''s just start planting and discover how to make it grow at an amazing speed. After a quick talk with Laura, hope appeared in form of Mana. She explained that if someone infused mana into plants, they could grow even instantly, depending on the caster''s ability and mana pool. Last question: How to get such a big source of Mana? Norgolin spent three days testing, using seeds Laura extracted from the plants they found. On the fourth day, they discovered something even the smartest human didn''t accomplish: A way to make magical plants. The goblin found this in his last attempt; He infused Battle Power and Mana in a seed at the same time. this way, Mana didn''t exit the seed like always. Battle Power actually made some type of shield around the seed, making Mana stay! This made plants absorb mana from the surroundings several times faster. What they didn''t know was that humans had already tried this method of making Mana plants, but they couldn''t, because the Battle Power and Mana needed to come from only one person''s body, otherwise, Battle Power wouldn''t be compatible with Mana. However, no race had Mana and Battle Power at the same time.Did you know this text is from a different site? Read the official version to support the creator. They also discovered, after some testing, the rate of growth of these plants. In four days, they were ready to give fruit. one day later, the fruits started to appear. And that''s how food shortage would never be a problem. With this rate of growth, they would even need to throw food away. Norgolin put Laura in charge of 10 goblins, chopping trees to make a plantation. Time for training to start. Our protagonist immediately reunited with his five newly ''''graduated'''' teachers, called all goblins for a meeting and when all of them had arrived, he started his explanation. ''''Look, five females. They teach speak to you. You learn and don''t complain, otherwise dead'''' he made as much effort as possible to make it clear for these dumb idiots. A lot of whispers and noise was heard, but from what they knew, Norgolin had even successfully hunted a Spiked Lion, a feat still unheard of, so no one dared to complain. First class was very fast, just thirty minutes as Norgolin didn''t want to teach too much in order for them to process information better. He continued ''''Also, me teach fight men. Each pick strong branch from tree'''' When they had picked up their branches, our protagonist started training them in basic swings. These were swings any weapon would use, save for bows. They learned just the basics like being calm, thinking before attacking, and of course, swinging intelligently, not just charging and trying to hit the opponent in any way possible. This would lead them to experimenting with various types of attacks and training them, later resulting in fighting techniques; But of course, that wasn''t something that happened overnight. They established that speech classes and training would happen every day, increasing in intensity as things developed. Norgolin put Alom in charge of monitoring fighting train, as now was time to scout the forest for available resources. He quickly departed toward the deep green. Of course, before leaving he made sure all goblins saw how strong Alom was as an Armon, just to make sure no one tried to start a revolution. The first day of exploring proved to be boring, nothing interesting. Second day? Just as boring, but on the third, he finally found something he was in desperate need of: location full of vine trees! Moreover, it was very close to the village. Norgolin remembered it and continued exploring until he found a very special river. It actually led to a beautiful waterfall, where a hot girl was bathing. her hair was black, her face was a perfect round shape and she had green eyes. Her breasts weren''t that big, but their shape was perfectly aligned with her body curves, along with her butt. She was 1,70m tall. He quickly climbed a nearby tree and started to approach, silently jumping from tree to tree...Bad choice! when he reached the nearest tree, Norgolin''s branch broke, and he fell on the water, right in front of the beauty. Having Some Fun '' Shit! Now she will scream, then hide her precious parts, call for her bodyguard and then I will discover she''s some king''s daughter, who wonderfully happened to come here and bath right at such a convenient time...'' Norgolin thought. But it didn''t happen like that. The girl just stood there, unmoving for some seconds; It was a strange scene indeed. Then she unexpectedly made a lustful face, approached the goblin and whispered to his ears. ''''So you were spying on me? Wanna have some fun, little one?'''' The girl said. ''''Ah...Wha...!'''' He couldn''t even finish saying what he wanted, as her lips had already touched his and they engaged in deep kissing. As Norgolin kissed her, he could feel something very odd, although he didn''t know exactly what. Her hands went down to between his legs and caught his already hard dick. ''''Wow, this one is big'''' She whispered again, with a seductive voice. The goblin wondered why did she call his dick ''''this one'''', however, he didn''t care much. They immediately left the river, as she started sucking the dick. The goblin was far from being a virgin, but this sensation was still unknown to him. With the beautiful scenery of the waterfall as a background, they started their fun, as he laid down and she sat on top of him. But right as Norgolin was about to blow his load, he felt something very strange. His head went dizzy and his vision blurred. His energy seemed to be drained more and more! He was foolish to think she was just lustful. The girl recognized Norgolin''s state, conscient of the fact that he should have discovered her ability. She giggled, as she knew it was too late. Surprisingly, after the goblin ejaculated, he didn''t pass out! She was stunned by this fact, but what surprised her the most was that Norgolin even had more energy than before, so he forced her to lay down, quickly switching to the missionary position. ''''My turn, you slut'''' He whispered. For some reason, she seemed to get a lot more excited after seeing he didn''t pass out. Norgolin and our girl continued until she passed out because of pleasure. The goblin wondered why the hell, at a moment of despair, he didn''t pass out but revigorated his energies. Indeed, fatigue filled Norgolin, but it was the normal fatigue after intense sex. He was so bothered by the fact that he didn''t sleep. Norgolin just spent his time wondering and deciding if he should kill her or not. In the end, he decided not to kill her; Even if she had tried to drain his energies, bringing imminent danger, no evil could be seen on her face, from start to end, coupled with the fact he didn''t even fight, Battle Power wouldn''t rise by killing this girl. Instead, Norgolin looked forward to doing her again. This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there. When she woke up, she seemed surprised by the fact he didn''t kill her. ''''Why didn''t you kill me? I was trying to hurt you!'''' Unexpectedly, she said that with an angry face. ''''Hum... you are very good at what you do. Also, there''s no point in killing you'''' ''''Well...thank you, I guess?'''' She looked confused. ''''You''re welcome. By the way, what''s your name, why and how did you try to drain me with sex?'''' He blurted out questions without even thinking. No point in having manners right now. ''''My name is Diana, I tried to suck you dry literally because I am a succubus. We have the ability to grow(in Mana, of course) by having sex. But this spends the partner''s entire Mana/Battle Power and kills him/her. I came here to see for myself what the hell was that source of extreme demonic energy. Relax, I''m not some strong demon''s son, or important at all in the demon kingdom. Indeed, I was kicked out from our kingdom'''' ''This Diana seems to talk a lot. Not that it matters anyway'' He thought. ''''So it turns out to be like this. Do you have any place to stay?'''' Norgolin asked. He did consider the possibility of what she said being a lie, but even if it was, from the way she was surprised, it seemed no one had been like him. If it was all a lie, demons would be looking for him anyway and if she was important the location of his village would be easily found too, so no need to throw a good hot succubus away. Diana ''''No, I don''t. why do you ask?'''' ''''Because I took a liking on you and just happen to be leading a goblin village. They are still dumb right now, but it doesn''t matter, In a short time they will get as smart as me'''' Norgolin said. ''''Thank you for the offer, I will have to accept. This gives me another good question: Why aren''t you dumb like all others?'''' ''''I''m as clueless as you, I just happened to be like this. Other than my mother teaching me to like intelligence, there are no other reasons. Oh, and as I can see, you don''t have any clothes nearby, where are your clothes? You need to know that for the moment I have no clothes back at the village'''' He explained. ''''I don''t like to use clothes. Most succubi use a little cloth, but I think it is unnecessary, and it is uncomfortable. Relax, I won''t ask for cloth even if you make some'''' She said, without the least bit of shame. ''''That''s perfect, one less problem'''' ''''Err...I kinda never had sex like I had with you...If it doesn''t bother you, can we have another round?''''She asked Norgolin understood that she probably saw all the men she had sex with die right after the act, so he found it reasonable for her to be excited after finding him, so he accepted. They continued until both were satisfied and departed back to the village. Returning, Checking on Progress Norgolin got quite irritated as they walked back toward his village. Turns out Diana was very slow, as she hadn''t developed her wings yet. Anyway, both still walked as fast as they could. However, this time return wasn''t safe all the time. Diana and Norgolin found a lot of wild beasts on their way back, but Diana explained the reason: She didn''t have the ability to hide her demonic aura yet, so the beasts were curious. Norgolin was even surprised after seeing her kill a wild boar with ease, using a strange magic; She used her mana to create a dark purple circle full of runes, from which a black ball of flame appeared, launched toward the boar. Diana explained to him that all succubi had magic that used these rune circles. They took an entire week to come back, along with the hindrances. When they arrived, Norgolin introduced Diana to his friends and tribe. Laura seemed relieved after she knew there was another humanoid girl other than her, coupled with news about a vine tree. However, Norgolin was still worried about something. If a succubus had already appeared curious about the evolution happening, what about other races? what if some giants, strong demons or anything like that appeared? This just increased his urge to make an army and get stronger himself. ''Oh, I need to check on the training'' He thought. Arriving at the training camp, he saw all the males training. All of them seemed to be a little more sophisticated on the swings, but the time he had been off wasn''t enough to make them any stronger. Checking a little bit on their speech, they were now starting to discover that there were other things to talk about other than food, sex, and hunt. Alom explained this was giving them curiosity previously unknown. Some were even starting to search on the woods for new herbs as something to kill time. Laura told him she was surprised with how diversified were herbs in this forest. She wasn''t exactly a herbalist but still started to study herbs on the surroundings. Norgolin wondered about all these changes. The conclusion was: leave it as it is. He was intelligent, but not a jack of all trades. Our protagonist was intelligent, but not to the point of being capable of controlling all areas at the same time. He just let Laura take care of herbalism and Alom on training.Unauthorized use of content: if you find this story on Amazon, report the violation. Norgolin went to his hut, thinking about another topic: Buildings. If Norgolin wanted a strong civilization, he needed better houses, specified places built for training, researching(as he didn''t want anyone causing an explosion outside), a school, and last but most important: A WALL. If he wanted to wage war, a wall was essential. However, humans were accustomed to battle against walls made of strong types of rock. And what they had here was nothing, just rock from the mountains up north(now Norgolin knew where North, East, West, and South was because obviously Laura and Diana had taught him how to recognize them using the sun.). And even if he tried to mine there, better pickaxes were needed, but they had nothing other than crude utensils. So our protagonist decided on one thing, and that was to train on making better equipment. That would help in all areas, indeed killing a lot of birds with one stone. Norgolin immediately ordered two goblins to go toward the vine tree with knives and bring as many vines as they could. After that, he ordered three more to go and search for the biggest stones they could find. That being done, Laura called him with a strong shout, giving him a big scare. He quickly went toward her, just to discover it wasn''t her almost dying for a strong animal as he expected. ''''Come, come, come and see, it was actually here, what a surprise!'''' Laura was found screaming like a BTS fangirl, looking at a very strange plant on her hands. It had the composition of a rose, but its petals were a deep black and the part which should be green was yellow. It looked like nothing else, just a bit different from other plants. ''''Damn girl, I thought you were dying, just why are you so happy to see a different rose?''''Norgolin complained ''''It isn''t a normal rose, It is a Black-Sun Rose! It actually is the best plant for cultivating Mana and one of the rarest ingredients of the best Mana potions. I never thought I would have the chance to see something like this in my life!'''' Laura seemed quite different from her normal shy personality. It looked like she really loved these strange plants. ''''So what use does it have other than making potions?'''' Norgolin asked ''''If you put it in a place where it doesn''t die, and that would be a place which receives water constantly, the Black-Sun Rose can help you canalize Mana faster and better.'''' She explained Norgolin was happy to know that a plant that helped him in the area he had been very bad at appeared at such a time. Now he could resume his testing on Mana! he immediately made a deal with Laura, to put it on his hut, so he would let her study it as much as she wanted, as long as she let him use it too. Studying Mana, Bad News Norgolin sat inside his hut beside the Black-Sun rose, trying to discover a way to use his Mana and cultivate it. Laura often came here to contemplate and study the plant, but she was surprised every time she returned he was in the same position, seemingly making no progress at all. One hour, two hours, three hours, nine hours and all Norgolin could do was circulate Mana throughout his body. He couldn''t find a way to absorb it from nature as everyone did, or make it grow. It was like his body didn''t accept Mana that wasn''t his and didn''t have a way to increase it naturally. After all this time and no progress, Norgolin got as irritated as possible. He tried to chill down and then, after relaxing he felt quite bored. Norgolin started to write on the ground with the tip of his fingers covered with mana. Right at that moment, an idea came to his mind. Our protagonist made a circle, and inside of it, started making some drawings, testing the results. His first circle had the rough drawing of a wolf, but when he put mana into it, nothing happened. The second was actually written; As Norgolin only knew how to write in the human language, he tried to write what the circle would do. Something like a description of the effect. The second attempt failed too, so it seems there isn''t instant magic learning in this world. What bothered our goblin the most was that his Mana seemed to reject any method coming from this world, so if he wanted to make magic circles, Norgolin needed to do it in a way that used just himself, as even writing in the air wasn''t possible. After pondering for a while, he decided to make something like a tattoo. Norgolin used his sharp nails to start making a rune on his body, but he wouldn''t cut his body without certainty of success, as he saw the big scar Carlin had given him with just one blow, and as he didn''t know whether scars affected the success of magic or not, better safe than sorry. He thought about it for a while and decided on drawing the scariest being he had ever read about: A Dragon. However, he only read some descriptions on old mythology books, nothing much. So, he started with the most basic things. He went to a nearby river (their village had two rivers, one to the east and one west, he had gone west when exploring, now Norgolin was going east) and used the reflex on the clean water to start drawing on the upper part of his head, almost at the forehead. He drew two circles of the size of a bottle cap, and did his best to make it clear that it should make a horn appear. Norgolin made a '''' + '''' sign inside the circle and cut four points on each side of the sign. The points were where he would concentrate his mana, to connect all four and make a square form, activating the rune. (This is what it actually looks like, before activating and after activating, respectively: https://imgur.com/a/cDCQfui ) This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author''s work. Our protagonist wished all the blood coming from his head wasn''t in vain. After the blood coagulated, he started canalizing mana into the entire drawing to make sure it transformed into a body rune, and this process was the most painful thing he had ever experienced. Two hours of agonizing in pain and his symbols shone a stunning blue light for some seconds, before returning to normal, just with the black tattoo standing. ''''Please, make all of this be for nothing, please'''' Norgolin thought. Canalizing his mana on each point, he connected all four, and after that, finally, two horns grew! they had 35cm, and looked quite the bit like Armon horns, save for the fact that they were discovered to be thousands of times more useful. After some testing, Norgolin discovered they actually could be used as Mana sources! The process was very, very slow but it was already a start! Now he could grow his mana, but there was another problem: He needed to enter a meditation state, concentrating entirely on cultivating to use them, otherwise they would just be normal horns, so he would need a lot of time to cultivate his mana, but that didn''t matter, Norgolin was already very happy that he could now increase both Mana and Battle Power! Right at that time, Alom called him with a strong voice, just to give Norgolin the worst news he could receive. ''''Norgolin, the goblins we sent to collect vines brought us very bad news: there is actually a group of 20 orcs heading straight toward our village!'''' Alom said, very worried, seemingly scared by the orcs. Of course, Norgolin knew that this was because of his trauma. ''''Immediately call all goblins here, we need to prepare!'''' Norgolin shouted. When all of them gathered, Norgolin started his speech. '''' ALL OF YOU GOBLINS, LISTEN WELL! A GROUP OF TWENTY ORCS IS COMING IN OUR DIRECTION AND I DON''T HAVE EVEN THE TINIEST DOUBT THEY ARE COMING TO ATTACK US!'''' All goblins were very scared after hearing this, but he continued ''''WE HAVE BEEN TRAINING ALL THIS TIME, NOW IS THE TIME WE TRANSFORM ALL OF OUR SUFFERING AND HARD WORK INTO VICTORY! LET US OVERCOME OUR FEAR AND MISERY AND WIN AGAINST THESE DAMN PIGS! I CAN SEE FROM YOUR FACES THAT YOU ARE ALL VERY AFRAID, BUT FEAR ISN''T USEFUL RIGHT NOW, SO PREPARE YOURSELVES AND BE STRONG!'''' Battle Plan, Looking for Advice Norgolin tried to organize the goblins as well as he could, but they had no knowledge about formations, so he could do little with what he had. The first thing Norgolin did was to count how many men were here. There were at least 60 goblin males, so it would be difficult to win against orcs with just a 3:1 rate; A safe number would be 100 males, to make it 5:1, but this wasn''t possible right now. It was already a miracle that the goblins managed to grow beyond 60 individuals, as they were always living close to danger. Indeed, the training and change of lifestyle had shown its effectiveness. He ordered all women, a total of 120, to hide on their huts and let Laura go with them. Right after he did that, Norgolin made sure all men had at least a strong tree branch as a weapon. All this process took a little time and orcs were approaching quickly, so he immediately went for Alom, in order to get some advice on what to do. The goblin was surprised to see Alom sitting on the floor while dripping in sweat. Indeed, the Armon was still affected by his trauma. ''''Alom, you can''t just wait for the enemy while you cry, we need you and your knowledge about Orcs!'''' Norgolin almost shouted in despair. ''''I know, it''s just that it''s hard on me...'''' Alom took a while but made a resolute face before getting up and continuing ''''Ok, but now isn''t time to sit here and cry. Well, I know very little about Orcs; But one thing I could see for sure at that time was that they aren''t as dumb as we think. They can organize ambushes, wait for the right moment to attack and even analyze an enemy before deciding to attack.'''' Norgolin was surprised to remember it. Alom had already told him the story, but the goblin hadn''t analyzed the facts like this. Now that he thought about it, Orcs were a very hard nut to crack; In contrast to the goblin civilization''s low-level intelligence, it was almost impossible to win against them. ''''So how can we win against them? Do you know any way?'''' He asked. '''' Hmmm... The easiest way would be to prepare an ambush and kill them with archers, but we obviously don''t have bows yet. So the only way I can think about right now is to use three goblins and make coordinated attacks! Orcs are strong, but they don''t have three arms or the speed to defend against three attacks at a time; This is what I can come up right now'''' Alom explained.A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation. Our protagonist started to ponder the idea. It wouldn''t be difficult to order the goblins to go three on one and do something like one attack from the vertical upside down, and two horizontal attacks from each side, but he was sure they wouldn''t be able to kill Orcs in just one hit, even if it hit the vital parts. At most, they would damage the Orc and stun it for a moment, nothing more than that. And this wasn''t even considering the fact that Orcs would probably have stone weapons for all warriors, giving them an enormous advantage. Now he was caught in a dilemma, so he went to Diana to ask for help. He found her bathing on the river to the east, as beautiful as ever. After a quick kiss, he explained the situation to her. ''''What do you think I should do? Can you cast a magic strong enough to kill them? Like what you did with that black fireball?'''' The goblin asked. ''''No, I wouldn''t be able to kill 20 orcs by myself, at most I would be able to kill 3 of them, with a lot of effort. You know, that fireball is the only magic I know other than sex magic and I don''t have enough Mana to use it a lot. However, there is something you can do, and that is to use the forest''s animals. Just burn some meat, making sure the smell is strong and you will have at least a pack of hungry wolves coming from you. It would be cruel because it would also result in great loss to our side, but I prefer to have 30-40 goblins than having none.'''' She said, with her seductive voice. With what she said, he remembered Alom telling him about his parent''s deaths. That monster attack on the Armons was precisely because the Armons were inexperienced, and cooked their food on the upper part of the cave, allowing the smell to go out, and that attracted the monsters. This was also the reason why the Armon kitchen was located on the lower part of the cave. ''''Thanks, I will think about it'''' He said and left after a goodbye kiss. Back at his hut, Norgolin was almost getting crazy, thinking about what he should do. Should he be ethic, and fight just with his people, or should he sacrifice his own kind for survival''s sake? This question disturbed him for some minutes, but he came to a conclusion. The goblin immediately went to the forest with two more goblins and hunted three good foxes (that didn''t take a lot of time, as foxes weren''t that rare here). Then he burned them until smell started to impregnate the air, and threw them at the forest, toward the direction the orcs were coming. At this point, when he exited his hut and climbed a tree near it, he could localize the orcs and this showed just how they were quickly getting close; It was time to fight. Battle Starts, Leaders Clash Finally, the orcs arrived. They all wore fur clothes, but one could often see some leather armor in one or another. They were organized in a horizontal line and walked slowly like they were going to do some daily chores, nothing important. Their leader was in the middle, he wore old and rusty complete iron armor, without the helmet; his head had a big ''''X'''' scar crossing the entire face, he looked a lot stronger than any Armon Norgolin had seen. His eyes were red, with a blood-thirsty look. On his back was an iron spear that seemed to be very doted by him, as it was the only gear in a good state. The Orc leader had an arrogant look as he shouted with his strong voice ''''Hey damn animals, surrender or die!!'''' The leader''s speech seemed quite intelligent, although he only said the basics. Norgolin got quite irritated by his arrogance, so he retorted with an even stronger voice '''' What could kill us? boredness from slaughtering some pigs? Or fat from eating so much bacon?'''' ''''You look daring, green shit. Cut the crap and come, I am Don, the strongest Orc!'''' The leader, Don, said. ''''Ok, let''s see how your bacon tastes. WARRIORS, TIME TO FIGHT!'''' After saying that, Norgolin immediately readied his stone hammer, and ran toward the Orcs. After he took the initiative to attack, the goblins got motivated, going right after him. The battle started and as Norgolin had ordered, goblins made teams of 3, attacking the orcs with half-coordinated attacks. At the start, the goblins had the upper hand, because their enemy didn''t know about what they planned. However, as time passed, goblins got tired, and the Orcs figured out what the goblins were doing, so our battle started to walk toward a tie. Norgolin started his fight with Don, but he found the Orc to be stronger than he could imagine. This time, Norgolin tried to attack first, but when he was 2m away from Don, the orc quickly readied his spear and thrust it forward, almost managing to stab Norgolin''s heart. If it wasn''t for the goblin''s fast reaction to jump back, the fight would have ended here. After this, Norgolin got cautious, as he realized Don''s speed. ''I have to reach close-range, but he is too fast, I can''t get any closer than this'' He thought; But Don wouldn''t wait for him to finish thinking. He approached Norgolin and swung his spear upwards, but Norgolin dodged to the right. Our goblin thought this was his chance to get closer, so he imbued his left arm and hand with Battle Power, held the spear and started to approach but on his second step, Don''s foot had already reached his chest, sending him flying four meters until he managed to use his feet to stabilize on the ground(like when on a fight scene, someone uses his feet to stop flying and land upright, sorry if I wasn''t clear). He tried to exchange blows with his opponent, but every time they clashed, he ended up getting light injuries and more tired; This went on until a time when he managed to slide on the ground, and approach Don''s lower body, but again he was sent flying by a strong kick. It was obvious that the Orc was just playing with him.Unauthorized usage: this tale is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings. When Norgolin landed, he realized; This wasn''t an opponent he could win against. Don''s speed, strength, and skills were all better than his, even when he used Battle Power. Any struggle would only tire him out until he died. That''s why he quickly decided to retreat as fast as he could. Norgolin started to run toward a nearby tree, but strangely, on Don''s face, the only thing that was visible was a big grin. However, now isn''t time to care about such things, what matters is fleeing. Our protagonist climbed a tree, as to make it difficult for Don to reach him; With spear in hand and such a big constitution, it obviously would make it hard for the orc to climb. When he reached a branch strong enough to support him, he stopped. Don''s grin didn''t disappear; Instead, it just grew bigger. He said in a relaxed voice ''''Goblin, do ya know what is my fighting type?'''' Norgolin was surprised with this question but answered anyway ''''Obviously you are a spearman, idiot'''' ''''Yes, but there is a certain specialization. Let my great self tell it to you: I''M A FUCKING SPEAR THROWER!'''' The goblin didn''t understand why would such a specialization exist in a low intelligence civilization like orcs, but one thing is sure: It was at this moment Norgolin knew he fucked up. Don bent his body backward, prepared the spear and threw it with mastery, aiming straight at Norgolin, at an abnormally high speed. Before Don threw the spear, Norgolin had obviously thought about jumping down and running in zigzag, but he knew it would just delay his death, as he wasn''t faster than the orc. Dodging? It wasn''t possible even when the Orc was playing with him, much less with a strong orc like him throwing the spear with such strength. So he did his best to concentrate all Battle Power and Mana in his abdomen. Even though he did this, it wasn''t enough; The spear went through his arms and muscles, all the way to the middle of his chest. It was either luck or Don''s aim(or mercy when aiming) that saved him from being hit in the heart, but it still blocked his breathing. Norgolin tried to remover the spear from his body, but it was stuck on the tree. Don was laughing so hard that he almost couldn''t breathe. ''''Did you really think you could run away from me?'''' He asked. However, right at this moment, some nearby trees started to shake, and a terrifying roar could be heard. RAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWRRRRRR!!! The sound was so loud that the ground shook, and from the strong Mana in the air, The Orc leader seemed to have realized something, as he looked so scared that he almost couldn''t stand upright. In fact, he almost pissed his pants. All the goblins and orcs looked at the direction of the roar, even more scared than Don, paralyzed by fear. The goblins couldn''t think about anything other than '''' WHY THE FUCK DID THREE LITTLE FOXES ATTRACT SUCH A STRONG BEAST?'''' Or something like that. '''' I''m... Gonna... D..ie, b..ut you come... With me, asshole!'''' Norgolin said, right before doing guess what? yes, fainting. This author seems to like making his protagonist faint. Divine Fire Gorilla The sound of the beast''s steps became louder and clearer each time it was repeated until it reached where the battle was situated. It was a four-meter-tall quadrupedal beast, with the body''s composition similar to that of a gorilla, and it did walk like one, but its fur was entirely white, and it had a tail two times as big as its body. The tip of the tail was what seemed like a spearhead, obviously used for piercing attacks. However, that wasn''t the impressive part. Things got worse when the beast stood in two feet, and its body actually started to burn with a beautiful but deadly light blue color. Right at that time, Norgolin had already woken up and realized he was as dumb as a rock. If he wanted to get free from this spear, he wouldn''t need to remove the spear; The solution was simple, walk through the spear! he walked forward until the spear''s body ended, freeing himself from that damn weapon. Although he was already starting to get weak from blood loss, it was already a big help being able to breathe. Don immediately ordered his Orcs to retreat, but the beast was faster, as it had already started to massacre all goblins and orcs in the place, using flames to burn every living being it could find. It was unknown why such a strong beast had appeared or why it had gone berserk, but one thing was sure: Death was imminent to both sides. The burning ape-like beast started to burn the surroundings, not allowing anyone to escape; It was like a horror movie, with orcs and goblins shouting in pain and dying miserably each second. Now it was either fight and die or die without fighting. Norgolin got down from the tree and went toward his hammer that had fallen in the ground during the fight against Don; The ape noticed him and threw a fireball, but Norgolin managed to dodge on the last second, escaping with just some minor bruises, so the beast ignored him and continued attacking the others with fireballs and tail attacks. Then Norgolin caught the hammer and ordered all remaining goblins to regroup. When all goblins reunited, there were just 9 or so of them, showing how much they had suffered from the fights. All had tired looks on their faces and were on the brink of collapse. Don tried to do almost the same, save for the weapon part. He wouldn''t climb that tree just to get his spear, so he just tried to reunite with his men, but the ape didn''t make the same mistake twice; When it noticed Don was a leader, it immediately went after him, but the orc was stronger than he had shown until now; He used Battle Power to boost his feet, and used a sophisticated footwork that wasn''t supposed to be known by orcs to dodge the creature''s attacks. However, just dodging wouldn''t be enough as this ape seemed to have endless mana, using raging blue fire like it was nothing. During Don''s dodging game, the orcs had already managed to regroup, with just 6 of them remaining; Despite that, their leader hadn''t ended fighting yet, so they were forced to plan for themselves.Stolen story; please report. Norgolin shouted ''''HEY YOU DAMN PIGS, IF WE WANT TO STAY ALIVE THEN WE WILL HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER! PLEASE LISTEN TO ME'''' One of them answered angrily '''' WHATEVER, JUST SAY YOUR PLAN'''' ''''THIS DAMN APE WILL SOON DEFEAT YOUR DAMN LEADER, AND WHEN THAT HAPPENS WE DIE, SO WE NEED TO KILL IT OR ESCAPE BEFORE THAT, BUT WE CAN''T REACH IT BECAUSE OF THE FLAMES! ANY IDEAS?'''' Norgolin explained then asked. The orc that answered the first time answered again '''' LET''S RUN AWAY THEN, DO YOU KNOW ANY DIRECTION TO GO THAT DOESN''T LEAD US TO RAGING FLAMES?'''' ''''THERE''S A RIVER NEARBY, FOLLOW ME'''' Don was infuriated when he saw them abandon him ''''YOU FUCKERS, FUCKING PIECES OF SHIT, LET''S SEE HOW YOU RUN '''' He started to chase them, bringing the beast toward the group, even though he was getting major injuries because of that. After all that, the ape''s fury reached its peak when it saw how they were using it, so it immediately made a big jump and reached the group, blocking their way; its eyes burned with endless anger and bloodlust, its posture was somewhat dignifying, even when in extreme rage. It was at this moment they knew, they fucked up. Don was laughing so hard his lungs hurt ''''ZEEHHAHAHAHA, YOU DAMN IDIOTS THOUGHT THE DIVINE FIRE GORILLA WAS THIS DUMB? NOW WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!'''' Right at that moment, a Purple fireball came from behind them and hit the enraged ape, making it surprisingly, for the first time, step back. It was Diana that appeared from the woods, seemingly untouched by the fire. She had been taking care of the women until now, but when she realized the noise in the forest, our succubus immediately went toward Norgolin, knowing he would need help. The Divine Fire Gorilla sent three blue fireballs, but Diana faced all head-on and wasn''t affected in the least, making the angry ape confused. ''''Thank God you came, Diana! but even with your strong fireballs, we can''t win against it!'''' Norgolin said ''''I know, you idiot. Come with me!'''' She said as she spent all her remaining mana to send two more purple fireballs that exploded and this time even made smoke, making the Gorilla hesitant to follow them. After all, it didn''t know how strong this girl was, and even in his anger he could sense demonic aura coming from her, giving him an uneasy feeling; At the end, he decided to chase Don, who had already gotten away and vent his anger on him. A Little Chat, Ritual Once they got near the eastern river, all of them stopped to rest and recover from their wounds. This time, Norgolin was almost dying and if he couldn''t use some heavenly medicine, death was for sure. His wounds weren''t as simple as a broken rib or a minor cut; He had a big hole in his chest, as well as only half of his blood left(even if he didn''t know the exact quantity, of course). Diana was surprised that Norgolin didn''t faint as he always did, enduring all of this with a strong will. She didn''t know what to do, as she had already sent someone to search for Laura; The girl was confused as to why Laura didn''t come even after the noise and fire that happened. ''Holy shit, this goblin will die for sure. The worst thing is that I don''t know any healing magic or medicine to heal him. But wait... there is indeed a blood ritual, but...would it be worth it? Well... damn it, why am I so moved by his state, even though I don''t have a lot of memories with him?'' She hesitated for some moments but decided to do the ritual. She started to draw some strange circles on the ground, preparing for what is to come. All orcs and goblins that survived had already either fainted or died, but there was one orc that didn''t give up to tiredness; Even though he was the one with the worst wounds, he stood there, looking at the direction of the village, crying all he could. His body was well-built, and his face was devoid of scars; However, this didn''t change his strong air, as well as the aura of a strong will. His sharp eyes seemed to be seeing all of the fight again. Diana took him to be some kind of patriotic orc, one that didn''t often go to fighting, probably being some type of producer, even though this was rare for orcs. ''''What are you doing there, crying so much? I know this is very hard on you, but aren''t you supposed to be used to death?'''' She asked while drawing the circles. ''''Ah...It''s just that I''m not as tough as the others. I''m a blacksmith who has always been patriotic and loved to study types of rocks and minerals...I''m not used to fighting! I came just to repair their armors on the way here as we didn''t have time to do it back at our village and almost all of these orcs were my friends... you know after these damn humans arrived, with all those idiots wearing glasses and white cloth, we have been growing in intelligence and number, but the treatment we receive is harsh. I just miss the times when we didn''t know exactly what war was, and just did it by instinct. Now we have to suffer all of this shit for nothing, we are just experiments for those humans.'''' He explained. This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there. Diana was surprised to know that the humans had reached orcs as well. '''' Why don''t you just flee? I''m almost sure you guys have, or had, a strong leader who could easily kill some humans.'''' ''''We did try that, but these...scientists, as they call themselves, know magic as well so you can imagine what they did when the first orc tried to escape.'''' Norgolin, who had been agonizing on the ground until now, made some effort to speak ''''These...humans... want to make a rit...AAAAAAHHH!'''' He couldn''t even finish the sentence before screaming in pain again. ''''I know, they explained this much to us as well, but we can''t do much about it; Our leader Don was paid to let them do their thing, so we are defenseless.'''' The orc answered. Diana, who had been pondering, took the initiative to speak again '''' So I think we have something in common. Our dear little goblin leader here is going to fight against a strong human leader in one year time, and I am sure we could use an extra hand on this matter. So why don''t we collaborate to kill these humans and you help us destroy that damn leader?'''' She started to negotiate without Norgolin''s consent, but he didn''t care. It was indeed an intelligent choice, and there wasn''t much time to argue right now. '''' I''m not exactly a leader of the orcs, but I''m damn sure all of them would agree to this. However, there aren''t a lot of reasons to trust you guys, so I will wait for my companions to wake up and decide after. By the way, I''m Potin, what''s your name?'''' Potin said. ''''Ok, you can see and tell me later. I''m Diana and this is Norgolin, glad to meet ya'''' She said, as she finished drawing the circles. There was one big circle, as big as 3 meters of radius. Surrounding this circle where 10 tiny circles with a 40cm radius, and all circles had the same thing written. It was a single sentence written some strange language that someone from our world could recognize to be similar to Hebraic. She immediately dragged Norgolin to the bigger circle and started to chant something in another language. Potin started to get as far as possible from the circles, uncertain on what to do. Every word she said had mana imbued into it; Diana was lucky that activating the ritual didn''t use a lot of mana, so she could do it immediately. All circles started to shine with a black light that seemed to have come from hell, ofuscating any light close to the ritual. As they were engulfed by the light, Potin chose to trust her and wait there, even though he was a bit afraid. Inside the Circle Once inside the shining circle, both of them were lying down, Diana on top of Norgolin. Diana''s essence seemed to be starting to connect to Norgolin''s essence, as a soft, but well-made dark red string started to take form. But right as this same string was about to reach completion, Diana sensed an interference; A strong green light started to shine in Norgolin''s heart and as it grew brighter and brighter, Diana started to panic. ''''What the hell? How come it turns out like this?'''' She never imagined a ritual of this importance going on like this; This strange green light was even stronger than what she sensed in the demon tribe''s lord. No, it went beyond, to a plane that she couldn''t explain even with great effort. It was something so ancient that it seemed to have come from even before her tribe was created, something very different from anything she had ever felt. The light started to envelop the entire red string, and change it bit by bit, revolving around it, breaking and reforming it. Ten seconds later, the string was thicker and had a brown color; Its essence was, for some reason, easily sensed by Diana. She felt it was some kind of old magic that assimilated her Demonic Essence, to form a new type of connection with an unknown function, but with one certainty: Itwas something she wouldn''t be able to control. ''''Alright, as it has already reached this point, there is no turning back. Time to solidify the ritual'''' Diana thought She used all her energy to use that connection made by the string and like that, start the transforming process. When the ritual reached its climax, both of them started to transform, and their bodies seemed to have started some type of metamorphosis. Norgolin''s body unconsciously activated his horn rune, and as the horn appeared, it was different; Despite the size that had increased by 10cm, making it an entire 45cm, it had deepened its black color, along with a change in its essence. Although it still served as a Mana channel, a new function was added, clearly seen by how it burned a strong purple flame! this purple flame seemed to want to consume everything around the horn and would be at Norgolin''s beck and call. Besides that, Norgolin''s body grew bigger, going to as much as 1,60m tall, but with no big changes in his appearance, other than a stronger build. Diana''s changes were even more radical. Her curves became even more beautiful, and her breasts became even bigger, without losing their beauty, as well as her round ass; Her hair grew to reach her ass, and her eye color turned purple. Along with that, her Mana ran wildly inside her body, and her demonic powers started to wake up. However, the biggest change was in her libido; Now it wasn''t just a normal succubus'' lust, it went beyond, to a level that if she didn''t have sex from at least 3 to 3 hours, she would enter a crisis. This could only mean that her cultivation would grow along with her lust, and sex was slowly becoming her only way to grow up.The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation. By now, the couple wasn''t just connected by a weak feeling created by some experiences together; It was something coming from the very heart, something that couldn''t be achieved by purely living together, nothing other than dying together would be stronger. These changes took some time, and while all happened, Potin stood there, waiting...but after some time, he realized waiting wasn''t the only thing he could do, so he started to search for some food; These orcs and goblins were almost dead, Norgolin included, so they would need a lot of food and hunting wasn''t an option for injured people, as they would only be dying faster. Once he got deeper in the forest, not going too far away from the river as to have a checkpoint and not get lost, he searched for some rabbits. Back at the circle, the brown string started to tremble, and both of their bodies started to solidify the changes; It was an amazing scene, as both of them shone white(yes, like a pokemon evolution) and started to vibrate. Then, the green light appeared again, and formed the word ''CONNECT'' on their foreheads; It stood there for some seconds, before disappearing again. The ritual had gone smoothly until now, but it had a cost. Diana''s lifeforce was now connected to Norgolin''s, so if one got hurt, the other would be affected, and if one of them died, the other died too. This ritual was supposed to cost half of Diana''s lifeforce, but that green thing had helped her, so she didn''t care being connected to Norgolin; It was a low price to pay indeed. This took some hours to happen, and by the time the ritual ended, Potin was already cooking five recently hunted rabbits, which had a very good smell. He was happy and surprised when he saw the circle disappear, and both of them waking up, immediately going toward him. Both were like new individuals, changed and new. '''' Hey you little lovebirds, I''m already making some good stuff for us, so why don''t you explain to me what the hell was that damn ritual, Diana?'''' He said, with a curious face. Diana was a bit stunned, but took some time to go back to her normal composure, and started to remember something. ''''Well... It is called Blood Ritual, and as the name says, it connects one''s essence to the other''s using a connection made with blood imbued in lifeforce, healing one of them as well; However, it turned out to be very different from what I thought, as you can see. Some strange stuff happened, and we started to enter some type of evolution, I think'''' She explained, quite confused herself. Potin pondered for a while, before answering. ''''So why don''t we sit here, eat and prepare to proceed on searching for your friends?'''' He invited. Testing, Place to Stay They agreed and the trio sat down. By the time they sat, all goblins had already woken up, and there was just an orc left to wake up; All of them were in deep pain but tried to endure it, despite the difficulty. Norgolin, Diana, and Potin kept chatting for a while, deciding on the future, maintaining a friendly atmosphere and this showed to the goblins and orcs that they weren''t supposed to have any hostile thoughts, at least for now. However, this didn''t work out as a magic formula, obviously because they had seen their friends die at the other party''s hands. Anyway, at least they didn''t start fighting like a bunch of idiots. When they finished their food, the goblins and orcs ate a little while rationalizing; Norgolin was quite curious about these surviving goblins because they had survived such a fight with a strong opponent, so he asked their names and started to have some ideas. Their names were Ofir, Sem, Ef¨¢, Cor¨¦ and Lin, the last one being surprisingly a girl(keep their names in mind, they will be important in the future); Norgolin took some time but decided to leave them as fighting teachers for now, as well as taking them with him on his hunting trips. After socializing a little, Norgolina and Diana went a little deeper into the forest to test their powers, as their Mana and Battle Power were already full and just left the group for Potin to take care of. When they arrived at an unknown part of the forest, they stopped. It was a little clearing, in a circular shape with beautiful trees around it, along with birds singing happily high in the blue sky; Grass fluttered lightly as if it liked the wind. This looked like some sort of well-made training camp, both were surprised to see such a sight in this dark forest. ''''So, let us start'''' Norgolin said while receiving a slight nod from Diana. ''''What do we test first?'''' Diana asked. ''''Let me see... throw a fireball at me when I order so, I will test my Battle Power armor. But you have to wait until I manage to canalize it in my entire body.'''' ''''Ok, you can start'''' Norgolin used this opportunity to test his control as well, canalizing as fast as he could. Battle Power went through his entire body, from head to toe, leaving a pleasing sensation of security. Shortly after he did that, at most 5 seconds later, his body seemed to have an outline made of red energy lines around it, and the shape of a beautiful red armor with strange, delicate and wonderful carvings could be seen very, very faintly being drawn in his entire body. This story has been unlawfully obtained without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon. ''''Now!'''' Norgolin ordered. Diana tested her fireball as well and was surprised to see that her magic circle was now a light purple, with beautiful black wings growing from each side of it. She canalized a good amount of Mana and sent the fireball. When the fireball reached Norgolin''s Battle Armor, it exploded with purple flames, making a loud BOOM, but the outline just glowed less and the weak design cracked. They were surprised to see that although Diana''s fireball had become 30% stronger, it didn''t penetrate Norgolin''s Battle Armor. Instead, if Norgolin used a bit more Battle Power, he could even repair it with little effort. This ritual seemed to have transformed their very form of using magic, as what they felt was different from just a significant increase in intensity. Norgolin had one more thing to test, and that was his tattoo. He immediately activated it, and the horn appeared; When he saw Diana''s surprised face, he didn''t get it, but when she explained he was surprised himself too. Surprises aside, he tried to use the horn as before and it did start raising his mana very slowly just like before, but on a certain moment, our protagonist accidentally lost control of the mana, and this wouldn''t be much of a problem, if it wasn''t for the fact that a strange magic started to appear, and exploded in raging flames suddenly, leaving Norgolin and Diana with some skin burns, as well as disheveled hairs. ''''So this was the function of your changed horn...interesting'''' Diana said. ''''Yeah, I''m surprised too... looks like we have changed more than we thought we did'''' Norgolin added. Both spent hours training and trying to control Norgolin''s flames, but things were going to proceed slowly. Progress was as much as not allowing Norgolin''s flames to explode without his will. When they finished, they had some sex and returned to the group. Potin had already helped most of the injured treat their injuries, so they were ready to leave. Norgolin was happy to see them and immediately had an idea. ''''Hey Potin, come here, we need to talk'''' '''' What''s up?'''' ''''Well, we found a clearing in the surroundings, it is beautiful and suited to make a camp, so we just camp and wait for the disappeared women to come. What do you think?''''He suggested. ''''Hm... That would be good, but what if they were kidnapped, or even got lost?''''Potin was worried, considering they could have been found by these damn humans; It was a reasonable worry indeed. ''''We also can''t go walking on this forest without any care, as from what I heard there aren''t a lot of places that aren''t dominated by some type of monster or race. So let us do like this: we wait for one day, if they don''t come, then we go and search for them. How about it?'''' ''''That''s good. Let''s go'''' After drinking some water and eating what was left of the food, the group departed. Walking for some minutes, the group arrived and was surprised to see this clearing. It did look like a good place to make camp, and even live; Their depression from the trauma even got a little better! Of course, this was because, in a moment like this, any type of comfortable feeling would duplicate in efficacy. After some time preparing, Norgolin used a knowledge he had gained with Laura and measured the clearing''s size. It had a 150m diameter, making it easy to defend if they were to fight against humans. The Girls, Reunion(part one) Once they settled down, Potin, Norgolin, and Diana started searching for some hunting prey in the forest. They were very sad that they didn''t find good prey, even near this beautiful clearing. However, they found quite a lot of fruit trees, that seemed to be unused; Each time they found something new near this clearing, it became even stranger, leaving them with great worries. Potin was the most concerned of all and was quite reluctant about something. ''''Why so serious, Potin?'''' Norgolin asked ''''I was thinking about suggesting to stay on that clearing, and make a new village there, but this is just too strange! a beautiful place, with food around it, and a good weather with no dangers! why doesn''t any race take that clearing? there must be something very strange going on there'''' He explained ''''Anyway, it would be even more dangerous going deeper, as we don''t know where the other races to this side are situated. So for the moment, the only thing we can do is to wait and see'''' Norgolin replied. ''''That''s right, but we need to prepare for the worst anyway. By the way, I can help on fortifying the place, as I have seen these humans doing it at the Orc tribe'''' ''''Are you serious? That''s great! what do we need?'''' ''''If I were to make walls in that clearing, I would need good stone axes to cut trees, strong tree vines, as well as stone shovels to make the foundations'''' ''''That wouldn''t be hard, but it would take time...But it would be worth it, so we may start it when we find the girls'''' Norgolin concluded. When they finished talking, they heard some noise nearby, so the group prepared for a fight. However, once they saw who was coming, this wariness disappeared. It was the women group! Despite their number, which had lessened greatly, they were still alive somehow. Laura was leading them, with a tired face and some light injuries, but still able to walk. Alom was with them, not much better; He had some cuts on the abdomen, as well as a beaten face, so hurt that he looked miserable. Laura went directly to Norgolin and gave him a tight hug, and so did Alom right after. All of them sat down and explained each side''s situation. After introducing Potin and telling the group about the fight with the Gorilla, it was the women''s turn. Actually, the group was going well, hidden far behind the fight, but when the Divine Fire Gorilla appeared, the women became apprehensive of what might happen, so Laura and Alom decided to hide in a better place. However, when the group arrived in a certain part of the forest, considerably far from the fight, a group of Iron-Spike Lion; These were a variation of the Spiked Lions, but a lot stronger. Their spikes were almost as strong as Iron, and their skin was as tough as a rock. Alom fought bravely, and Laura helped as much as she could, along with the women but when they managed to defeat the Lions, more than half of the women had perished. After that, they walked without rest until they reached the clearing.Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings. By this time, the entire group just wanted to rest, so Norgolin respected their wish. While they rested, Laura seemed to have endless energy as she made some preparations to help healing her group; It turns out she had collected some medicinal herbs on the way. ''''Aren''t you tired, Laura? if you teach me the method, I can take your post and make these mixtures...'''' Norgolin said, worried about her fatigue. ''''Relax. During the trip back, I swore to myself that if I could return to you guys, and you were safe, I would heal each and every injured one. Leave it to me!'''' Laura insisted. From what she said, Norgolin concluded it wasn''t worth it to pursue the matter any further, so he let her do what she wanted. Laura kept her word and helped all the injured people heal themselves. All goblins and orcs obviously had at least the concept of gratitude, so they started to like her more and more. On the next day, Laura had already slept for some time and was ready, so Norgolin called Laura, Diana, Alom, and Potin to discuss important matters; Laura and Alom surprisingly weren''t against Potin''s participation on the decisions, they seemed to trust Norgolin, as well as Potin''s eagerness to help. ''''I''ve called this meeting to decide two things: Whether or not to stay here, and how to build our new village. Any of you have more important topics to add?''''Norgolin started. No one talked, so Norgolin proceeded to explain to Laura and Alom the strangeness of this place. Laura was the first to comment ''''Indeed, this place is very suspicious. However, even more dangerous than staying is leaving; If I remember correctly, there were some plants that use a certain aroma to scare monsters around it; Maybe that''s the reason, but I have to investigate it properly before jumping into conclusions'''' '''' That would be good. How about you, Alom?'''' ''''My only concern is that it could be some type of ''border''. If that is true, then this place is some type of checkpoint to at least two races and if we were to stay here, they may discover and be angry that we''re occupying their territory, so they may misinterpret it as a challenge. I''m reluctant about it, but from my experiences in these past days, I think nothing scares me more than walking without information in this damn forest, so I vote for staying.'''' Alom had a helpless face as he talked; Indeed, no one could blame him, as he had gone through a lot of traumatic experiences in a relatively short time. ''''Well, that concludes this matter, as me, Potin, and Diana have already agreed to stay. Next matter is the organization of the new village. Potin has already agreed to help on making a wood barricade or wall, depending on the resources available. Any other suggestions?'''' Norgolin asked. Reunion(part 2) Proceeding to the next matter, all of them hesitated for a while, trying to search their memories for any ideas. For some minutes, they were silent. Laura was the first to break the quiet. ''''Actually, I''ve been thinking... We are advancing quite the bit with the magic seeds... my suggestion is that we divide ourselves into two camps: military and science. As the population isn''t a problem with the high fertility rate of the goblins, we could leave 20 to 30 goblins on building the wall/helping Potin make some weapons, as well as some goblins for magic seeds cultivation. The rest of our men will be focused on either training military, or developing science; That way, we won''t have to hunt all day, even though it would take a great effort to change the goblin''s hunting culture. At least that''s how I think it could work'''' Laura explained. ''''That''s a good idea indeed, Laura. But there are some points we can analyze on your suggestion. First, the scientific part; We can''t focus on such a subjective concept as just ''developing science''! we need a specific area to work on, otherwise, it would be just wasting time and effort. Second, you''ve already mentioned; It would be very hard to change the goblin''s culture of hunting! for them, hunting is what makes them useful and powerful, it is the only deep concept they have. We need to at least give them a way to prove themselves.'''' Norgolin replied. Potin immediately suggested ''''Of course, I agree we can''t leave the scientific subject as it is, but with that one, I can help a little. Actually, I''ve been thinking about some ways of using minerals, such as Iron. I didn''t have the time to learn it from the humans back at our camp, but I''ve got quite the interest on melting and transforming metal. We can use some extra hands on this part; But about the culture of the goblins, I admit I''m not versed in that part.'''' Laura took the initiative to talk again '''' With that settled, on the way here I''ve found some extra herbs previously unknown to me, I would like some help at studying them too.'''' Just as Norgolin was about to say something, Alom cut him. '''' As for the military and hunting, I can help as well. We can make some type of fighting scheme with a hierarchy based on the best fighters, to keep them entertained. As for their training, I can do it too.'''' Norgolin was very happy to see them all eager to help; '''' Good, very good! now we just need to put everything in order, reproduce and start our projects. For the moment, I would like to keep Potin leading them, while they help on building the wall. Any objections?''''Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon. After some silence, Norgolin took it to be a confirmation. Right at that moment, Diana spoke ''''What about me? I''m feeling quite lonely here'''' As she said that, she gave a side look to Norgolin, which everyone saw and laughed a little. ''''For now, you can take help me to cultivate my Mana, as well as train your magic, but we don''t have a special task for you now. Take it as an early vacation'''' Norgolin explained. Diana showed a cute look while puffing her cheeks and looking angry, but quickly accepted Norgolin''s request. After all these matters were concluded, Norgolin put an end to the meeting and actually went to help some of the goblins cut down trees. Even though his nature was to be thirsty for blood, he still needed to rest and cool down his head sometimes and nothing was better than doing some labor work while admiring nature. Each time his axe hit a tree, it would make a small cut on it. But he actually ended up upset because it was taking too long, so he started hitting with all his strength. Five minutes later he was tired and his arm hurt, but the result wasn''t as good as he thought it would be. ''Fu...wait, What am I doing? It must be the stress from all those fights and tension... I keep hitting the tree with all my strength hoping for a different result! '' In truth, he found this information quite interesting, as it served for the way he fought as well.Almost everytime he fought, Norgolin ended up beaten and saved by the occasion.First was the fight with Carlin, now it was Don. Norgolin had never won a fair fight without having to rely on pure luck! Having realized that, our protagonist started to hit the wood again, But this time, every hit was carefully thought about, from beginning till the end. Concerning strength, Norgolin started using the weakest blow possible and kept on increasing until he found out a strength which was both efficient and economic. He spent hours taking down the same tree, but when the tree fell, a perfect circle was formed on top of the trunk. He had just succeeded! On the following two days, this became a part of his routine. Wake up, have breakfast, cut some trees, check on the village''s progress, and so on. Our dear village slowly started to take form, day after day. Reproduction was fast as always and as Laura took care of the food problem creating Mana seeds with Norgolin''s help, they didn''t need to care about food shortages. Some days later, on a sunny and beautiful day, Alom had lined up a big group of goblins, these were the first batch of villagers! As they had already received basic fighting training, it was time for some hunting,as the hunting practice was still as essential as a coliseum to forge good fighters.Another reason for Alom to do this, was because they still didn''t have their little fighting building, because it required a lot of labor and time to be built. The Hunt This day was a particularly cloudy day, with almost no sunlight to be seen. It was indeed a dark day, but they didn''t care. Alom readied his stone spear and led the goblins to the forest and they started their hunt. The walk was calm and without much trouble, giving the nervous goblins a bit of time to calm down and focus on looking for prey. Hunting one beast per individual and letting the individual fight the prey would take too long, so they decided to look for a big group of prey. 3 hours later, the group found what looked like a wolf lair situated on a cave, so they had to make a detour. What they didn''t know was that the wolves weren''t there, they were coming back from the hunt! On their way back, they met the 20 wolves, a fairly big pack, and the fight started. Alom quickly handled the leader wolf and sat on a safe place to watch how the goblins were going, but not interfering in the fight; After all, they had to experience death risk. All goblins fought bravely, without retreating or fearing injuries, giving Alom a pleasant surprise. If it wasn''t for Alom''s training, at least half of them would have died but only 4 perished, while 10 were injured. Luckily, Laura had given him a good amount of herbs, which helped him heal the goblins in less than two hours. ''This will do it for their first hunt...time to go back'' was what Alom tought, but when they started going back, a strong rain started to fall; It was so strong that Alom had never seen anything like it before, the skies seemed to be falling down, dirt became mud, and the land became hard to walk on. These weren''t good conditions to go back, so Alom decided to stay in the wolve''s caves for shelter. Entering the cave, he was surprised when he lit his torch, as at the end of the tunnel entrance, he could see a big room, six meters tall and fifty meters wide. It wasn''t something that looked like it was made by humans.Instead, it was a natural cave. In the middle of that room, there were 70 wolf cubs, sitting around an enormous blue rock, 4 meters tall and almost 3 wide, one Alom recognized to be some type of magical mineral. Surprisingly, aside from these cubs, 4 female wolves were licking the rock, absorbing its power with each lick. The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation. Alom guessed these wolves had a high magical affinity and were absorbing the magical power in order to cultivate. Normally, wolves would not have a magical affinity, as they were low-level beasts; However, these females did, and their wolf cubs had light blue eyes instead of the common yellow ones, and white fur instead of gray fur, as well as a little magic power coming from them. ''Maybe it''s because they have been fed with magical power?if that''s the case, they have been here for quite a while. but if that is so, why the hell were the males normal wolves??'' Alom asked himself. He wasn''t as intelligent as Norgolin, so he would have to ask the goblin later. The stupid goblins almost tried to attack the wolves, but Alom stopped them.He ordered them to sleep in the tunnel tonight, as to not disturb the females. Alom waited for the wolves to sleep and sneaked in the room. He slowly walked toward the wolf cubs who were feeding on their mothers and crouched down. He caressed one of the cub''s white fur lightly, which made it groan lightly. ''It is soft, but its skin is a little hard. It seems they are growing to have a strong leather, but still maintain its softness. As for its fur, it acts as protection from any weather.'' He analyzed. Actually, he liked these cubs. After that, he slowly walked to one of the cubs that weren''t feeding on their mothers and slowly lifted its lips, just to reveal a set of sharp teeth and two little, but even sharper, fangs. ''These wolves are quite a rarity. High magical affinity, strong but soft leather and fur, and sharp teeth. If one were to grow and tame them...'' Alom had hit the jackpot!Of course, he wouldn''t just take them for himself, he would give them to the village. However, there were two problems. Firstly, he needed to get rid of their mothers, as to tame them. That led to the next problem: If he killed the mothers, they would stop receiving their milk, and probably the milk had magical properties, making them grow properly. If he let the female wolves grow them, they wouldn''t be tamed, but if he killed the females, they died. The only option was to tame the females, but how to do so?using food at first was too shallow and risky, he would first need to dominate them in battle, and then use food to make them docile. ''So that''s it then. I would prefer to stay here as it would take quite a bit of time to tame them, so I have to let Norgolin know.'' Alom thought. In the next morning, Alom ordered the goblins to return, reporting everything that happened, including that he would stay there indefinitely in order to tame the wolves. When the goblins departed, carrying the wolf bodies, Alom readied his new stone spear, it was time to tame! Taming, Berserk Alom looked at the wolves, at this time, they had already noticed him. All of them were growling to him, even the scared babies. He pointed his spear toward the females in order to intimidate them, a useless attempt; All of the females charged at once, running ferociously at him. ''I can''t hurt them'' he thought. When all of them reached a one-meter distance, Alom quickly jumped as high as he could, as he was a strong Armon and a very strong one at that, he managed to jump over the females, leaving them disoriented as they bit and slashed the air. Our Armon didn''t lose time and used this split second to hit the nape of one wolf with the hilt of his spear, knocking it out. ''One done, 3 more to go.'' All 3 wolves left were enraged, but this time they used their high intelligence to not attack in a disorganized way as they did the first time. They approached slowly, growling and waiting for the best moment to attack; One of them at the middle took the initiative and quickly tried to slash at him, but was blocked by his spear. The others didn''t lose time and used this opportunity to jump at him from both sides, but they were stopped by a left-foot kick and a right-hand hook aiming for the belly; When the attacks hit the other wolves, the middle one had already recovered and charged at him, managing to make him fall to the ground. It climbed on him and aimed two slashes, one with each front paw, at his face but he managed to block, crossing his hands on an X-shape. The other wolves went toward his legs and bit them, making him scream madly. AAAAAAAAARRRHHHHHHH! he couldn''t endure it anymore, and with one more shout, he released all of the rage from the pain and the fighting. ''''ENOUGH!!" When he shouted, a strange, red energy started to emanate from him, and his eyes went red. His fur turned red too, and his face distorted. Alom immediately felt way stronger and didn''t hesitate to quickly punch the face of the wolf in front of his face, making it fly and only stop when hitting the wall. The other two still kept biting his legs, so he kicked the air with all his strength, making them forcefully release him, and launching them to hit the cave ceiling. Alom immediately ran at the wolf unconscious in the wall to finish it in a frenzy, but the first wolf he had knocked out woke up and jumped at his back. Our crazy Armon immediately grabbed the wolf''s neck with his right hand and raised it in the air in front of him. Something strange, savage and wild seemed to have taken control of his body, but at the same time, he sensed something. He sensed the feelings of the wolves, their ''''thoughts'''', instincts. It seemed this ''berserk'' form gave him an ability to act, fight, and even communicate with beasts. This feeling distracted his crazy self for a bit, enough for him to take control again, and stop his frenzy. Alom''s fur turned white again, his face turned back to normal and the energies stopped emanating. He felt extremely tired, but he still had something to do. Alom used the last of his energies to try to use the energy, as this was the best time to try and control this new form of his. A fruitless effort, but he still could sense something inside of him budging. Two hours later, he woke up. He was dead tired, but luckily, still conscious enough to remember where he was, he quickly got up and looked at his surroundings. He looked at the wolves, still unconscious, and down to his spear that he had dropped in the fight. Alom grabbed the spear and sat down, spear in lap while closing his eyes.Love this novel? Read it on Royal Road to ensure the author gets credit. ''I have to recover, and try to control this strange power'' Alom thought. One, two, three, four hours recovering and trying to sense the berserk energy, but no results. Our Armon needed to try another method. ''Think, Alom, think... How did I do that? I just remember... being extremely angry, frustrated with losing the fight, and... that''s it! Anger! Battle! Frustration! That''s what made that berserk state happen. But how can I control all of these?'' He spent one more hour meditating. After that hour, something seemed to startle him and he got up. The wolves were waking up! Adrenaline rushed through his bestial body, and he remembered. ''So that''s how! I just need to push myself to my limits, and when my survival instinct appears, I need to keep focused.'' The wolf stuck in the wall was the first to wake up, afraid of even looking at Alom. It looks like that form scared them shitless, so the wolves wouldn''t be of help when activating his berserk form. Alom hesitantly grabbed his spear tight and pointed it at himself. He stabbed his own arm, giving him a big pain, but still not enough. He pulled the spear out with another shout, and stabbed his right leg. ''AAAAAAAAH!'' He shouted, closing his eyes. The conscious wolf used this opportunity to charge at him, but when it saw his eyes opening, he stopped. They were red! The wolf stopped in place, scared, afraid. This time, Alom wasn''t emanating an energy as strong as before, neither was his face distorted, but his fur still turned slightly red, as he looked serious as if something was fighting with him from inside. Indeed, Alom was fighting the berserk instinct, trying to control his senses. A few seconds later, he managed to control communication. ''Can you understand me?'' Alom said, mentally. ''What? a mere rabbit-man understands my language?'' Our wolf was very confused. ''Yes, and I''m not a rabbit-man, I''m an Armon. So now that you can understand me, how did you get your intelligence? This level of understanding and learning, you are almost a human.'' ''I don''t know. We just saw this strange stone and licked some runes in it. When we did so, we started to change and become stronger, smarter. That''s it'' Our Armon finally understood. From the way it looked, this stone contained runes that had the same effect as the human magic that made the Armon smarter. This explained a lot. ''to go straight to the subject, I fought with you to prove one point: I am stronger than you. And if you don''t want to stay here and die to some humans that you probably have already noticed in the surroundings. What do you say?'' ''Yes, we noticed the humans. We used to have a small territory and a big pack, but these damned humans attacked us, reducing us to this size and hiding in this cave. We can follow you, but just under the condition that we are free while we aren''t doing anything, we can hunt, come and go as we please and raise our own cubs'' The wolf seemed hesitant to give her freedom away like this, but it was not like she had another option. ''I can agree to that, but if you try to go against our tribe, I can assure you will all die. My tribe has someone stronger than me!'' The wolf looked a bit scared and nodded. ''By the way, what''s your name?'' ''I don''t have such a thing as a name, but when we communicate, it seems I will need one... let''s se... Hunter! That''s a good name'' ''Not at all.'' Alom facepalmed as he heard that, and suggested ''How about Ruth?'' ''That seems good, I will go with Ruth'' ''Okay, So I am Alom.'' With all settled, it was time to bring some builders of the tribe and make a little settlement here. It wouldn''t be wise to take the wolves away from the cave, as they would be away from their power source, hindering their growth. In The Village Back in the village, Norgolin was full of things he had to do, but right now, he was sitting down cross-legged in his well-made hut, his horns protruding from the forehead; Around him, pure blue mana circulated slowly, forming a steady flow. He meditated like this every day, slowly increasing his mana and purifying himself with the same mana. In these last days, Norgolin had found out that his body was full of impurities that he couldn''t explain. Every time he meditated, he circulated the mana throughout his body and erased all the impurities he could find. Today, Norgolin was experimenting with cleaning his surroundings, as his acute senses could already perceive even the impurities in the air. Our goblin was making a lot of progress; However, someone of course had to interrupt his meditation, it had almost become a rule. ''''Sir, your friend has returned from the hunt and needs to talk with you'''' A goblin servant said. ''''Ok, I will be there in a minute,'''' Norgolin replied. He quickly absorbed the mana back and readied himself. Exiting the hut, he breathed some pure air. It was good to be free, even more so when he was a type of lord. While walking, one could see some goblins running from one side to another, carrying pieces of wood, stone or tools. At this time, with the goblin race''s absurd fertility and growth rate which gave them enough manpower(Author''s note: Don''t know if goblin power would be more suitable) to build quickly, they had already finished building some wooden cabins and were almost finishing the Coliseum; It consisted of an ''''enormous'''' circle of 40M radius circled by wooden walls, with some crude wooden banks made of tree trunks which the Orcs had worked hard to pick from the ground inside it, and a big, 4-meter deep hole that used almost the entire space in the middle; inside the hole, there were some stone weapons laying in wooden supports, all made by Potin. But as this wasn''t the focus, Norgolin didn''t want to go there and disturb the workers. ''''Hey you little green bastard! I have a lot of little gifts for you!'''' Alom greeted Norgolin happily, one could understand the happiness of someone who had gone through hardships to achieve something. ''''Well you big rabbit, then let''s see what you''ve got to show'''' Norgolin answered while laughing faintly. Alom immediately picked something from his backpack, and Norgolin was surprised to see that it was actually a wolf cub!Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation. ''''Wow, so this is the wolf you were talking about. Where are the others?''''Norgolin asked ''''Damn sure it is. The rest of the wolves is inside the cave, I won''t bring them back until I can assure they can cultivate mana by themselves.'''' Alom explained. ''''That''s a wise decision, I thought you were just muscles; Lucky I was wrong.''''Norgolin joked ''''Please, let me take a look at this little guy'''' After Alom handed the cub to Norgolin, he immediately activated his horn and tried to inspect the cub with his mana, but he stopped after sensing a little energy resisting. It wouldn''t be wise to continue any further, as it could cause the puppy to lose its mana, or even worse, die. But what he could sense with his mana was that the cub''s body was a lot stronger than a normal wolf''s, and had a little magic resistance to it. ''''What a surprise! this cub could become a strong companion for anyone if it grew up. We were very lucky this time!'''' ''''Well, then you will have your jaws drop when you hear there are more than seventy of these in the cave. And four big ones. Those big females weren''t affected with the mana since they were born, so they are weaker than these cubs will be, but they sure are strong. I even had to use some special ways to defeat them, but this is talk for later. For now, I will leave the cub with you and go get some rest'''' Alom explained as he went to his cabin. Norgolin kept wondering how will he handle these wolves, but shortly after, decided that this was a job for Alom. Right at that time, Laura decided to show up. ''''WHAT A CUTE BABYYYYYYY!!!! AAAAAAH'''' Laura got very excited from the sight of the wolf cub, and immediately run to steal it from Norgolin''s hands and hug it so strong the cub almost screamed. Norgolin felt sorry for the poor wolf. Norgolin explained how they got the cubs, and Laura almost jumped out of excitement when she heard there were a lot more of these. ''''Laura, can you please stop screaming and state the reason for your arrival?'''' Norgolin tried to be as polite as possible. ''''Oh, that would be to warn you. Remember our scientist projects? one of our goblin females found a very interesting herb I need to show you. You will be surprised by its effects.'''' She explained. Both departed to Laura''s cabin, and when they arrived, there were already four smart-looking goblin females waiting for them. They wore fur dresses and looked quite adorable. The group entered the Cabin, and when inside, Norgolin got very surprised; There were three plants in the ground, they had four, five, and seven petals respectively. The four-petals one had a light blue color, a blue that looked like the blue of mana. The five petals one had a dark red color, and the seven petaled was entirely black, pitch black. All of these plants emanated a strange aura and aroused Norgolin''s curiosity. ''''Just what are these plants used for?'''' Our goblin protagonist asked. Information Dump, Fun An expression of deep surprise could be seen in Norgolin''s face when Laura explained what the plants could do. Actually, they didn''t have much effect by themselves, but when combined, those plants could make an extraordinary potion; The blue plant could gather mana around it more easily, as well as store a little of the mana within its petals. Laura explained that these were used to make mana potions in the human kingdom. The red one could fortify one''s body by a considerable amount. Last but most important, the pitch black plant could gather dark mana (a special type of mana made by deathly aura condensed by Battle Power) and become very poisonous along with it. When condensed into a mixture and later put in the water, the water becomes a dark substance that they had tested out and found that was a kind of power booster! Laura used it on a rabbit; The little animal started emanating an enormous dark power and almost killed two goblins but died right after. It seems this booster had to be used in smaller quantities by strong beings if one wanted to survive after the effects. Laura assumed these circumstances happened because of the black plant, as she had never heard or read anything about it in the royal library when she was with the king. They had discovered this plant in a place where a fierce battle had occurred. They found 30 Spiked Iron Lions and ten of these plants. After further investigation, it turned out to be a battle between these lions and another group of the same species, a territorial battle; Even though it was rare to find such a large group of lions, it wasn''t impossible. The scientists figured out a way to extract two seeds from each specimen and deduced a sprouting period of two months for each one, but to grow, these plants needed to be placed in an environment of constant battle and death. This fact was found out in a cruel way, using some hungry rats, so hungry that they resorted to cannibalism and started killing each other. Enough with the information dump, Norgolin asked for two such potions and kept them on his improvised utility belt just for emergencies. Proceeding, he ordered them to experiment these potions on the magical wolves. After Leaving, our protagonist went to were Diana usually was in her free time, the lake. There she was, bathing like always, without any clothes nearby. Everyone in Norgolin''s village got accustomed to walking around naked, even Laura and Alom; The goblin culture influenced them deeply, and the girls liked not having to wear these horrible bras the goblin made for them. Those definitely just hurt them and didn''t execute their functions properly. Why am I explaining this? Anyway, let''s continue.Enjoying this book? Seek out the original to ensure the author gets credit. ''''Hey beauty, wassup?'''' ''''Hey Green little beast, came here to have some fun?'''' Diana said, smiling. ''''Guessed right, I am too stressed these days'''' Norgolin said as he jumped into the water. The lake was very big, despite being in the middle of the forest. They started kissing, then they talked a little and had sex for two hours. Just as they were about to leave, Diana had an idea. ''''Why don''t we call Laura and Alom to have some fun too? We rarely have such good opportunities in this village, right?'''' She was getting quite close to Laura, as she was the only girl from a different girl in the place. Norgolin liked the idea, rushing to call Laura and Alom. When they arrived, already naked, the pair was immediately jumped into the lake. The group talked and played around childishly for hours until night arrived. then, they made a campfire and cooked some rabbit meat, while talking in a relaxed way, releasing all the stress from the past days. Now, they looked exactly like a beautiful group of young friends having fun under the moon, which shone its light in the lake, making a wonderful scene. Very few people in the world had the opportunity to be so free to the point of being able to walk around naked without any need to feel ashamed, hug friends and have fun in such a beautiful, isolated lake. These moments were what made living isolated in a forest worth it. The next morning, the group woke up and went to work, except for Diana. She just stood there, gazing at the sky. Our dear succubus actually started to shed tears. ''I have to cherish such good friends, I wouldn''t find these guys even in one thousand years back at the demon empire''. Of all people in the village, she was the happiest. Little work to do, a lot of sex with any goblin she wanted, including the never-tiring Norgolin, freedom to have fun as she wanted and daily improvement on her magic. Deep in the forest, somewhere near the northern mountains, a group of icy blue, tailed humanoid figures seemed to run from something or someone. A little girl tripped and fell. A womanly person that seemed to be her mother got desperate. '''' GRAB MY HAND '''' She shouted as she gave the girl her hand; The girl held it tightly and both kept running. Behind these two, an enormous figure ran, Ice spikes were thrown in a angry way. Diana and her New Hobby When Diana arrived in her simple hut, she surprisingly didn''t call anyone to have sex. Today, she wasn''t in the mood; Diana just felt like reading a book and enjoying the light of the day. She used a little fireball to create a window in her hut and sat cross-legged toward the window. Then she started reading a new book Norgolin had given her. It was actually about cooking, something that didn''t make her very hyped to read about, but for some reason, she read it anyway. The first few pages were an introduction to cooking, explaining how to use the due tools, basic ingredients, etc; Then came a part that intrigued her curiosity by quite a bit. It described how to use different types of sauces to make up for the ones that were missing. What piqued her curiosity the most was that cooking wasn''t as simple as she thought; It had infinite possibilities with few ingredients, and an enormous amount of ramifications to each method. It turned out a cook needed to be a kind of inventor: creative, intelligent, adaptable and eager to experiment. A few moments later, Diana was immersed in a trip through the cooking universe. A few hours later, she had already finished reading the thin book and ran to the place where they cooked most of the village''s food, which was a round hut, bigger than most, but not by a large amount. She was surprised to see that they had a good variety of tools for a goblin village, but the surprise faded away after she remembered Norgolin had been a cook, so he probably didn''t want his goblins to experience the same hardships as him. Diana then picked up a piece of meat and analyzed it, discovering quite a few basic mistakes on the treatment of the food. They left it in the ground, making it dirty and hastening its rotting process. Although it didn''t matter for goblins, who had a very good metabolism to digest rotten food(due to being accustomed to doing so) and didn''t care for the diseases and taste of the food, it still could be better, so why not make it better? Was what Diana thought.Unauthorized use of content: if you find this story on Amazon, report the violation. She started by going to the lake and getting some buckets of water, then she washed the meat and sliced it, as the goblins had been kind enough to bone the meat before throwing it in the ground. Then, she looked for any type of seasoning they kept but found nothing; A little stressed out by the goblin''s carelessness, she went to Laura''s lab and searched there with little hope. She was surprised to discover that there were six types of plants that she could use for seasoning there. With a happy expression, Diana returned to the hut. Now time to prepare the meat. She cut it into four equal parts, to test four different types of combinations. First, she tried a spicy combination, using a lot of the spicy plant she had found, but it didn''t work out; It didn''t combine well with the other plants and the spicy part was horrible. Then she tried an exotic type, which didn''t work out as well. In the fourth combination, Diana got something very good. She had used a sauce that had a salty taste, along with a little soup she had made by combining three of the plants in water, an idea she had while picking up water at the lake. She put the salty sauce and then poured the soup on the meat. It gave a special taste to the meat, what made it three times tastier than before. Happy with her masterpiece, Diana called a random goblin to eat the piece of meat. The little green beast devoured it in no time, going crazy for more; It seems she had just made a good discovery. The succubus went to Norgolin, and after tasting the meat, he immediately asked her to start helping at the ''''kitchen'''', and teaching the other cooks, a request she happily accepted. ''Finally, I can contribute to the village and have something to do in my free time other than bath and practice!'' She thought. A little less deep in the forest than in the last chapter, the Icy humanoid group still hid from the terrible enemy. ''''Mommy, when are we going back to our homeland? Will we keep running and hiding forever? Why can''t we ask for dwarven help?'''' The little girl asked her mother. ''''Dear, the dwarves wouldn''t move their asses to help us if it doesn''t concern their safety, but while we live, we must have hope. Someday, we will be able to kill this damned demon!'''' She said, comforting her daughter in a strong hug. The Blue Deathbringer When the group of Icy humanoids finally saw someone far away, they were extremely scared to discover it was a goblin. Anyway, as they were running from a powerful ice beast, goblins were the smallest of concerns, so they just ignored the goblin and kept running from the powerful beast that chased them. However, they were surprised to see that a red and beautiful armor suddenly appeared in the goblin, and he wielded a big red axe against the beast. ''''Just what the hell is that goblin?'''' asked the little girl ''''I don''t know either, it''s just nice that we have something to delay it!'''' replied the mother as they ran, Norgolin jumped and raised his axe high in the air, slashing downward against the beast that looked like an enormous 8 meters long, 5 meters tall bear with a tail that burned in blue and cold flames and a majestic pair of wings in its back. The beast dodged to the side, but Norgolin''s axe managed to make a partially deep cut in its side. The bear pawed at Norgolin, hitting him with astounding speed and sending him to hit a tree, which collapsed with the impact. Norgolin didn''t seem that much hurt from the impact because of the protection of the battle armor and went toward the beast again. This time, he ran at full speed toward the beast, which shot a beam of ice from its mouth, but right as it was going to hit him, Norgolin slid below the creature, but still, he got slower because he got partially frozen, not because of the beam but because of the low temperature around the attack; He swung his axe toward the belly of the bear, managing to penetrate halfway through; If it was a normal axe, it would have broken already because of the tough hide, but this axe was made of battle energy, so it managed to penetrate. ''''WOOOOOOOOOOAAAHHHH'''' The beast let out an enormous roar and flapped its wings, flying high before Norgolin could stick the axe deeper, leaving his axe still in the beast. But Norgolin cut his ties to the axe, making it disappear and made a new one. Once again, the bear shot another ice beam from the air, but this one was so strong and wide that Norgolin couldn''t dodge. Our goblin quickly circulated Mana inside his body to warm up, managing to only barely escape death, although being stuck in ice and not being able to move. This story is posted elsewhere by the author. Help them out by reading the authentic version. The bear dove fast toward Norgolin with its mouth open, going to eat Norgolin alive. ''''Shit, if it keeps on going like this, I will die for sure, I have to come up with something'''' He thought. Right at that moment, he remembered something from when he was researching plants, strangegreen energy made by mixing Battle Power with Mana. It was his best option at the moment. When the beast''s mouth covered his entire body before it could bite him, he started to glow a green light, this light expanded until it reached the walls of its mouth, and kept on expanding, destroying the beast''s head and making its body fall on top of him. As he left the body of the beast, Norgolin was exhausted, his head was spinning and he couldn''t even think properly. He sat on top of the body, rejoicing his victory and pondering over why this green energy destroyed the beast but didn''t destroy the magical seeds. Our dear Icy humanoids were impressed by the scene that had just happened a little far from them. The beast falling from the sky, and then a green explosion, after that they could faintly see a headless body. ''''Just how strong is that goblin to be able to kill a legendary Blue Deathbringer by himself?"'' One of them asked. ''''Strong enough to kill us, if he is hostile; And don''t expect less from a goblin, so let''s get the hell out of here asked'''' Another replied. Shortly after they departed again, they heard a slight noise from ahead, so they hid above some trees. From above they could see two people, One that looked like a demon and a strange, big rabbit-man; The group was even more surprised with the strong rabbit-man, as he kissed the demon and kept walking while holding her butt and talking normally. They guessed it was a succubus, so they waited until the couple left, but suddenly, a 20-meter wide purple magic circle appeared above the area and the succubus started speaking with them. ''''I don''t know who you blue idiots are, but you were planning on sneak-attacking us, so could you please say who sent you?'''' She said slowly. Of course, she had misunderstood them because of their little number, guessing they were assassins.
