《Alias》 Anonymous the Main Character With raindrops glistening in the morning breeze as the sun rose on the fourth day that the collided world from different dimensions were recovering, something was born from the collided parts. Quickly and rapidly repairing themselves and moving away from each other, this planet collision had not harmed any of its inhabitants for all was saved by a hero, one that was cursed to have a tragic life; more about the hero will be explained later in this story. For now, lets skip back to the colliding thingamajigs, which currently formed a being that was there, and yet not there. It wanted to manifest, and this predicament is where the one-yet-to-be-named, the main character (MC, ya''ll) will appear. Lets call this unformed being Anonymous, for now. Anonymous the Main Character sat in thought. For IT; not yet a he or she, a not even complete form or being, had been thinking- though you do not need to know IT ''s thoughts, mainly for the reason that , "IT", is anonymous for a reason (which was given above. Yeah, that''s got to be it. Or is IT?) Fine, since you want to know why, I guess I''ll just fess up; Anonymous the Main Character, though not a complete form, was still in an aging process, of sorts; and was in the teenager stage of this process, you could say, so was having hormone difficulties. Namely, if IT should be male or female. How else could IT manifest? Thinking about this was giving IT menstrual cramps and an increase in testosterone, to the point where IT was worrying if IT might become an amoeba, and do ITself. I guess the right way to do this would be to choose a name that only applies to one sex, male or female, Anonymous decided. Okay. Either Jake or Christine. Ooohh, maybe Vladimir! Corndog! ...No, that''s just not right. This predicament was really getting out of hand, for while IT hesitated, blood dripped all over the place, and Anonymous was sure blood was not supposed to flow like a gushing river, especially down where the light of the sun shall not shine-which currently isn''t visible, as this Main Character has no form yet. Unfortunately, this was taking too long for the non-Main Characters, so they jumped in. King Angst said,"I dub thee Sir Menstrual Cramps, and you are now male." And so his female problems stopped. Still, he felt there was something missing, and oh! - this was filled when a boxer body-slammed into him. His chest blood gushed out, and he felt something similar to relief. Either there really was too much iron in his blood, or, unfortunately for a Main Character, he''s a masochist. Lets go with the former.... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you discover this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation. ??In another part of the world, where daylight refuses to shine through, and where birds and skeletons preen, lived a dying soldier, lying in the arms of a young companion. "Son, please go *cough* and *cough*, alright? You must find a *cough* and request *cough*''s aid. I *cough* you good luck..." and with a sigh and involuntary fart, he was no more. The boy, his son named Byrle, seemed stunned, and frozen in place...And in place...And in place... So he completely forgot what his father said, especially because he wasn''t sure if he was supposed to request "cough''s" aid. His father would say the strangest things from time to time, so he often ignored it... It took one long month of seasonal change before he moved. His first words were,"Wha-?" When did September pass? And finding himself half-starved, fed himself with more-than-a-month-old hamburger from the tree of eternal life, and water from the mountains of rocks (and seaweed). (The hamburger had come from a guy the Tree of Eternal Life had ganged up on, and later had given to the boy, saying that it was the"Haum-Burrr-Goooorr, of life Eeemmmooorrrr-towel!!!!!", though it was really something that came from the shitty Burger King place down the dirt road that divided the forest. The tree had dried up in recent years and wanted some peaceful time before it had its eternal slumber- because no, his immortal powers had a limit, an expiration date on himself, and this made things really difficult, for he couldn''t make himself immortal. Good thing he wasn''t an honest tree, or he''d have told all his secrets and brought everyone to his patch of earth just to make them all immortal as he died, which doesn''t sound like a good death at all, and wouldn''t be a good one. Afterall, who would have immortal powers which could not be permanently put onto themselves? This could create all sorts of complications, which we''d better not go further into, or this chapter will take too long to write!) And so the Tree of Immortal Life hated his power, and hated those who asked for it even more. If he had it his way, everyone would be eating Burger King hamburgers that he had taken by robbery of the food in Burger King. Still, another thing jeopardizing his peace would be the curse the Fairy of Good, the Kindie, had put on him; having proclaimed that after seeing the tree''s heart, she knew he was nothing but selfish; for he only looked after himself, and was stingy, for not sharing his powers with everyone on earth. (The lines that there used to be to this tree, to try to gain immortality; they stretched to the mountains and kingdoms northeast, such a pain in the branched ass, and had him beat; a whole kingdom that had come, with their king first in line. Stupid King Angst; came at the wrong time. That annoying king: he was sooooo going to get it from this tree. That day, he had to immortalize fifty thousand people. Thank his limits that his immortality didn''t make them invincible! The Fairest had heard and killed them the next day. The Fairest was a hot chic who was thousands of years old, and if you hit on her you''d have more than just your heart broken. She"was", for she''s dead currently, though she permanently broke bones and ate people that hit on her back in the day. Don''t mess with crazy beauties. Though she''s dead, her daughter is alive, and she is even worse. A shameless sadist, who had a way with politics, knew bartering, as well as taking and completing many diplomatic missions, she currently rules half the world of nature, with the other half of the world being governed by King Angst, may he always be in angst. Oh, her daughter, Elie, just teleported to the Immortal Life giving Tree (who, if you hadn''t noticed, was currently narrating the story). Well, that didn''t hurt a fly. Not. Of course it didn''t hurt a fly, dumbass- she aimed at you! Now look at you; you''re bleeding! Looking down, you''''d see a bunch of crushed wood where there once was smooth trunk. I''m in deep splinters now, thought the Tree of Eternal Life Which Itself Can Never Own. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------09/30/2015 Ch. 2- Painsies With Scythes, and The Tree, f-i-g-h-t-i-n-g Currently, going back to King Angst and the newly dubbed main character, Sir MC (Menstruation Cramps/Main Character)! The MC is holding his injured arm, which appeared with many strange whirls, similar to tattoos, on it. Sir MC decided to call himself a different name, and this time was quick about it. Francis will be the one, he decided. But he must currently address another problem... Having followed King Angst into the Kingdom of Pains; having been in a grassy area and walked until the sun cast long shadows, they had reached an area that seemed to have no way up; an impenetrable cliff, right next to a large abyss. Looking down, he saw no end, but there was smell that did not falter. The king said,"That abyss thou sees to the left of the impenetrable cliff, that has no end and yet a beginning, what lies in it? "I must say, our plumbing system has to lead somewhere. And to put it more simply, the abyss is where the waste of our plumbing system goes. The thing about this abyss, is that on the other end is a purifier, just before the waste can get to the other end of the earth- which happens to be the Alluring Forests, a place that is both beautiful and deadly, of where all who goes shall never return in this lifetime. "The one who did return was the horse of the traveler, who seemed to be in complete health and is unfortunately alive today." "Unfortunately?" asked Sir Francis. "It seems that ol'' creature is immortal. "She causes trouble for everyone, all the days, spilling sacks of barley and wheat, and also things like racing with other horses while their riders are still on their backs, which causes a stampede and we all know what stampedes by horses do", King Angst proclaimed, hand on chin in a thoughtful manner. "What exactly?" Fran MC was getting tired of the king''s confusing conversation that was going to nowhere. At least, that is what he thought until he saw a horse leaping from the top of the cliff into the sky, followed by other horses; some of whom seemed to have wings. "These are pixies, the King proclaimed- as he was body slammed by a boxer. Falling down and coughing, with the boxer hissing for him to get on with it, the main character decided to follow the horses for they were far more interesting, and abandoned the king to the boxer''s harsh punishments. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Francis noticed several things as he traveled in leaps with the horses. It was very high, and the breeze could be felt. Two; it was very cold, which was a feeling he had never felt before; and three; the horses were running away from something, which meant he had to more than follow them, he should truly skedaddle. From what, he wasn''t sure, but knew that these horse pixies only shied and neighed away from armies of strong, intelligent, and crazy murderers, for chaos was not their habitat, or a place they had any interest in. They oft were portrayed with a sunflower against them, in an epic battle. One person talked about the moves: Sun-Flo just made an uppercut! IntelDude just countered! Who will win- sort of things, that were usually in caged fights in the Pains Kingdom. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Meanwhile (10/11/2015) After getting up, he went as soon as possible. A messenger had given him the message that his mother was unattended. That was very worrisome for several reasons; she, though not a clutz, often did things without rational common sense, that could greatly endanger her. She was the Queen of Sighs. If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. Currently, she was cooking something. That made him so worried that he forgot about the boxer tailing him, and the new main character that had recently escaped his supervision, as well as the pain on his hip. Traveling along to a certain part of the cliff, he spoke in the language of Grithl, and the mirage of dirt and rock disappeared, with steps upward. After climbing them, he turned left towards a golden gate, regularly cleaned and buffed to a shine. Using a key of iron and intricate squiggly design, he then slashed it through the gate, and it opened, allowing passage to the light beyond the tunnel. He turned quickly, and quickened his pace. Going through, he opened one door out of many multi-colored ones, and opened one door afterwards in the blue section of the doors, with three in total, and smelled the permeating scent of bread cooking. "Ouch!" He heard a shout, and rushed inside. "I burned my big toe on the oven", his mother complained. It really was turning red, and not looking at all good. Quickly, he grabbed some mint and ice from a kind pixie, and put it around her foot. "Mother," he said warningly, "What did you do this time?" "Oh, I only burnt my toe on the bottom of the oven, my goodness it was hot, and nothing else", she claimed, though looking at the cooking area said otherwise. On the left, she had been making pancakes on the stove, while on the right side, she boiled some soup in a pot. Who knows what she made in the oven, but with all three things being done at the same time, it looked ready to cause serious damage. He sighed. "Mother, I''m sure you know that it is never a good idea to make that much stuff at once, or do that sort of multi-tasking." He said while adding more ice and other cool towels on her foot. "This was an accident in the making. It simply isn''t done!" "Well, as long as I make sure to have extra caution, I''m sure there''d be no other trouble" she reasoned. Her son sighed, and chided, "I know your father was a great cook, but still! Even HE probably knew better than to cook three things at once in one small area! Come on, I have to watch you every waking hour! You make me so worried!" "Your majesty." a foot soldier opened the door that led into the kingdom with a bam!. "The pixies are attacking us!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------meanwhile ------------------------------------------ MC was chillin'' as much as someone could with something(?) on his tail- following the horses weren''t easy, and especially not with possibly crazy axe murderers on his tail. So he looked behind himself, and saw that it wasn''t axe murderers after him. No, not as he thought; it was even worse. Hither be the Scythes. The Scythes- a group of girls who brought other girls in their group through force- by brainwashing them and having them betray their own, as initiation, having started by a founder who was now the ruler of a kingdom opposing the forces of the Kingdom of Pains, that had been nuts enough to declare a truce, and then secretly make illegal agreements with the Tree of Eternal Life - with the Tree having eternal hamburgers- while it would give them immortality- but no one else, and so being immortal was no longer as easily available to the people of the Kingdom of Pains, and the Kingdom of the Scythes now being able to gain immortality whenever they wanted, and then ending the truce by taking 300 men and women of the Pains kingdom- called Painsies- to turn them into Scythes- and then trying to force a truce back onto the Kingdom of Pains (oh, the Painsies, they were getting incredible headaches), was now trying to forcefully unite the kingdoms under one ruler, and take the main character as a captive, for they had heard he was under the protection of the King of the Kingdom of Pains- King Angst. They decided that if they couldn''t get the MC, they would take the nobles captive, and threaten to turn them into Scythes if the King and/or MC didn''t comply with their demands. Besides knowing that the Kingdom of Scythes was a brainwashing Kingdom, really, the MC Francis didn''t actually know any of the information which I have so revealed to you just now. So, you know more than our unlucky MC! And so, with the Kingdom of Scythes attacking on two fronts- to the MC and to the Pains Kingdom and Painsies themselves- they were in a serious bind. Until... ----------------------------------------------------------------- Ch. 2''s End ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ch. 3- Oh no... September 14, 2015 It happened. The pixies met the Scythes. This is never a good idea, especially when Scythes like all things cute, and these were wild pixies who liked to bite. Oof. Flying high, they saw each other, and promptly ran towards each other for distinctly different reasons. The pixies (if you remember, are horses with wings in this story, for a reason we''ll get to in this chapter) saw free flesh in the open!, while the Scythes saw a cute animal to doll up and own. So they came towards each other- the pixies for their love of violence, and the Scythes for domination. When the Scythes tried to subdue them through the use of staffs that slowly cursed them to be domestic, as creatures who specialized in curses the pixies knew what was coming- and so this forced them into the role of resistance and rebellion. Though the pixies seemed to dislike being ruled, at one point wild pixies had had a founder. The queen of the savage lands, and of all things wild, had been the Fairest, and she was, as previously said, currently dead. This is because the hero who saved the two world from different dimensions from colliding knew they themselves were not enough to stop the collision, but that they could use someone. Basically, they were short on time and skills so took a time-saver, by using the Fairest as a shield. This was done through baiting and insults (hitting on her, from a far, far distance). The best of his powers were to hide his own position from all, and yet send a 2-D message of himself, through the pulled out leaves of the tree of immortal life ("Ow! Who did that?" said the tree a few days ago, but sadly couldn''t see who it was for he could not turn his head- if he ever had one, I mean. Okay, people! He''s gonna get himself a head with a rotate-able neck in this chapter! Forward march! etc., etc.,- and uh oh the boxer is looking at me threateningly so I guess it''s time to take off), as well as an old projector from the last world that he had conquered, which, when put together, made some pretty high tech stuff- he could move the message as though walking, and in a way, corner the queen, as well as seem as though he''s there, so make the enemy kill each other through his body''s reflection, which he thought saved time and management, and should be advertised as a good product- unless the enemy got a hold of it, and then he''d go broke, and they''d kill him- the things he could imagine! When he was little, his dad proclaimed him a drama queen- and yeah he could proclaim all he wanted since he was the king''s messenger that needed to be heard by people so they could get the message the king wanted to tell them, or any rule changes or reforms happened, and so people often listened to him even though his words held no weight and he just talked allllllll freeaaaakinn'' looong daaaaayy, which is why his son left the house early and became independent as soon as possible- his dad, he felt, was embarrassing him and his ears were going to divorce his head pretty soon with all that racket going on at dawn and the whole cycle that gets to the next dawn and next dawn and next dawn and next dawn and - you wonder why he became a hero, and where he is now? Well, he was originally born on the world dimension of yesterday, and always felt that he knew what the future held. But what he didn''t expect, was that when he was the main character, the side characters impatiently forced him into the role of a hero, which he did with no pressure, because the hail of that world didn''t seem to care much about him. Natural phenomenons, weather, and special places in nature can all be the rulers of a whole dimension, who can control the stars, moon (s) and "saturn(s)". Some places didn''t have suns, didn''t care much about suns, didn''t like them, and felt they were a waste of time and space, although, since a "saturn" was pretty and had rings, they were fun to play with, and so useful. If you come across this story on Amazon, it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. Oftentimes, planets were considered more important than stars, and the mysterious lords of each place decided what would be kept in their dimension. Wham! *cough* that boxer *gough*cough* really.... And now, back to the main plot! Just for the sake of time, lets call our hero George. His father wanted a normal, average son who would represent and look up to all the Georges'' out there that there ever were; difficult because George was a rare name, that came from his father''s father- his grandfather- from a land that was now extinct by said king of this different dimension from Ch.''s 1 and 2 that we were in. George didn''t like his name, and wanted to change it to Cob, the name of the king- to be just as successful and great as him, and was the popular name of the time- but his daddy-o stopped him, ''cause he didn''t want that, and turned out there was good reason- King Cob hated it so banished or vanquished all the people named Cob besides him to Lake Never Ending, a length easily inferred by its name. All these people could swim, though, and defied the king by getting out, and either moving back to the country, or moving to another one, and, oddly, became successful. To this day, that''s the reason people believe eating corn on the Cob makes you successful- that was invented by a guy named Cob. And now you see George became even more famous, because he was so successful and was not named Cob, but George, a very rare and odd name at the time. Now, after knowing said George''s history, you must know that he came to the dimension we first knew by being smuggled there by the lords of these 2 dimensions, because they really liked him for some reason (no, no, not love- like- to pull his limbs, mess with him, wonder at his successful-ness, and make sure he can''t usurp them cause he could be a threat- these lords were like bros from their other mothers). George had been sleeping, so you know clearly it wasn''t intentional. And then both these dimensions were about to collide, which was a totally natural thing, and often happened, causing merges, over-abundances of some things, and got rid of the existence of the two worlds and their lords altogether, though the fragments often floated to nearby dimensions, and settled there; thriving off the land, or being strangled by the land. Again, George had arrived there and found the two dimensions were about to collide- a thing that every inhabitant of the worlds involved can feel- (there''s a resonance) when he found out that the enemy of all people was the Fairest, who was against order and encouraged chaos, among cannibalism and other things we would consider morally wrong. Hearing that she was extremely powerful, and trying to act like a hero, he decided that he could use her and make sure the world didn''t explode, in one of 2 ways of which he could think of in such a short amount of time (8 hours); either putting her in the middle would make her use magic to repel them apart, or whatever her skills were, that could save the world- or, if she refused to cooperate- (there''s that little piece of influence let over from the corrupt government officials who came into his life by having been with the king who gave orders to his pops about all sorts of things which weren''t always beneficial to the citizens, or what counted as citizens, from having been one of the only things he had known at a young age who conversed with his father and talked a lot to him which, if he had been a hero of complete justice, and born that way, you would say couldn''t affect him, but did and so his corrupt childhood influences have stayed and helped him through his 12 years of short life that has not come to an abrupt end) - he could use her as a shield against the resulting damage, which would separate her into pieces that were tolerable, and her soul -container of strength and power of magic and other things- and then separating the two dimensions from opposing forces, which couldn''t collide anymore because they came from one being''s soul, who was a crazy hot chic (by both meanings) and who disrupted the balanced equation that made there be two dimensions going to collide in the first place by adding an inequality to both sides of the equation, because someone all for chaos clearly unbalances everything, and that is why evil people are largely admired (because they make sure that even though y equals mx plus b, when it comes to them it will become why equals mica explosion plus Bessie the rebel cow). ------------------a pause (for now) zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz--------------------y- (me times three) plus because I said so---------------------------Or not____----- Ch. 4- Enough About the Non-MC Hero Our MC was tired of being treated like air, and decided to take control for once. Issuing orders, Francis said, "Enough about this nonsense. From now on, we will be talking about me, and only me, during breakfast, lunch, and dinner", was heard all over the intercom of hollow caves being the main network of giving messages to the populace. As it was the Pains Kingdom, the people would be, in your terms, quite odd, but to them it was an accomplishment to be so upbeat in their given circumstance. They, in our standards, would seem quite depressed, you see. But their situation, they believed, was not even close to extraordinary, so absorbed were they in their miseries (though not all were like that, but the ol'' grumps were). Unceremoniously, he disappeared the enemy, all with a wave of his hand- more accurately, the threat vanished, as though sucked inside his palm. It tickled, so he giggled giddily (or is it giddily giggled?) With a feeling of discomfort, he faded from view periodically as he thought fiercely. Even if he had been given the gender of a guy, he originally was not with a gender, having been both at the same time, so he felt that without a balance, he would just be another homo sapien sapien (sapien sapien sapien). That word is fun to say and write, really. So he morphed, with periodic fading, into someone with the other gender. Still, not having both sides at the same time greatly felt imbalanced to him, so he decided on a non-gendered form. Yeah. No puberty. YOLO. (More will be added and revised in due time. asap asap, when I am able. Sorry, MC dude, yo, just hang in there. patience brings wisdom {and gets hens to lay eggs. Currently, I must turn in for the day.) 01/15/2016 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the midst of a clearing containing a clear crystal pond, a being of malevolence and one of light met for a discussion. Seated as they were in a veranda that was centered on a bridge bordering both sides of blue, reflecting water, one of white-painted wood, smells of fresh rain drifted, with a silence contrary to birds which chirped dopey dopey dohhhh. Lying open on the table, to the interest of all except, seemingly, these aforementioned-so-far-non-MC''s, a character both noble, straight-forward, and cruel, spoke. "I see you''ve been having a running nose dripping on a bonfire", she spoke in a mature, aristocratic voice. Tea appeared, with possibly the wave of a hand, as though a movie was in the making, and the stage and props and edits were all raring to go. "Why dress in such a get-up, dear sister? Why mess where one should never set foot? Hmmm? ...That is what our discussion should reveal, and you would do well to tell your errors." Stirring the dark-as-night,-and-just-as-heavy tea, as well as her sis, whom she called mostly based on profession, though only slightly by relation, she watched as silk-clad Neverr deigned to speak. This tale has been unlawfully lifted without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon. ??"It must be said that we truly share opposing opinions and professions, and though we meet and greet, we can hardly be called sisters. I know not of this felony-like sin you speak of, as it is simply a way to show my loyalty to and help those of justice, not deceit." "Surely you jest", scoffed Lell. "Your country has kept you blind to their cruelties, and even we, with our black deeds, believe kingdom Gron to be second to not a single nostril of ours. You are only being used, and if not, than you definitely submitted to mere corruption, which will betray you in your mere end. You know it, and yet, you encourage their greed and behaviors, don''t you? As though we are the ones who broke the law, and not you- don''t pretend, for reason declares you guilty!" "If you must know----" "Don''t interrupt! I can''t believe you did it!" She declared with a shake of her veil, of black, that was cut in the latest diagonal, half-face fashion. "Trust, bond, all thrown away to enter that side- the side of tricksters and of other criminals, evils, and yet, you are the worst one of all, having---!" "I would like to refrain from the raising of our voices, especially my own, but clearly there''s no end to this tireless and small quarrel of yours, so please---" "-------Why did your put that being into history? Why did you make it? Do you have any idea how severe it is to have him interfere with the destruction of the kingdom of Pains, having put him into the past, one billion years ago?! Are you trying to kill us all? The unhappiness, the people, these lives--- to even THINK of changing history halfway in time, WHO DO YOU THINk YOU ARE?!" In the silence, bird droppings could be heard as they hit the water. A ripple of scales in there, soon an arm reached out, and used a globe of water to wrap around the offending piece of sh*t, and hurl it into a cloud called Oblivion. Satisfied, the flicking tail splash went all the way to the veranda, and happened to be repelled by a circular barrier that came into being one the object was in contact with it. Coldly, Neverr with a flowery and fashionable veil as well, which had a maroon bow, on her off-white clothes, that had dulled along with her mood, sharply spoke, "You''ve went out of line. That did not defy the laws we follow. It was not taboo. They changed it yesterday, after all. And won''t it be of interest, a strangely OP character, appearing in our history? You know my goal was never simple, nor complete---but it soon will be." Shocked to the point of no noise being made while trying to speak, Lell thought hard. The only way to change the opinion of the committee was e0ither through persistence and evidence of beneficial-ness, or through power, enough to be viewed as a threat, and a deal to not be a threat, with that power; one where a compromise, of sorts, but more an agreement, could be reached and made. In this world called Nur, the people of the committee seemed nearly like part timers, but were all significant in some way; irreplaceable, and invincible. The card she played was one of compromising brute force and power to gain a means to an end. dun dun dun.!! It didn''t matter who it was, though more significantly the grudges held were top notch and off the chain. As someone wishing to solve problems, her own came first, so it was only natural that she solve her own problems, uniquely. Interestingly. If only that didn''t mean dragging those all over this planet as well as herself in it, to get what was wanted- revenge. They¡¯ve known me well since the beginning, understanding that without a small shove every now and then it would take long to do what oft was started but exponentially slow to finish, with no end in sight. Much of little things seem to take the place of other pebbles, in an obstacle course, that (as we seem to keep mentioning), has no ending of any sort in sight. As the sole reason for the extending of an under-explained narrative and narrator(s), the necessity of this boxer who has taken the role of plot police is undeniable. But also is the fact of their existence. Them being more than but a simple boxer of plots (do they own a plot of land, eh). Who they are, I¡¯d like to more than discover. Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. While in Nur, having returned from the time our MC was inserted, he returns to a little hut in a forest. The door creaks of wood while his thick tough boots step inside to where three of his arm lengths meant reaching the other end of the hut and out the wooden square that sufficed as a window, never being made to fit glass over it. We¡¯ve snuck closer to peek in the doorway, stepping over nettles, feeling the small clearing sharp with fresh, wild air and hungry pests. Our faces get goosebumps. Sitting on a chair halfway into the hut, turning towards the main entrance, our stalk-ee turns to face us emotionlessly, yet with a powerful stare. Welp. Can¡¯t put a thing past our slamming slammer, I guess. Blamming blammer? Tongue twister, here we go! We feint a quick surrender, heading back to where we started. Not. This is where we go with omniscient view. Or rather, birds¡¯ eye! To the sky, quick! Kukukukuku. Soaring above, over the Oblivion cloud, we look downwards. Thankfully we have zoom-in, and it¡¯s vector, clear as crystal. Puh-lease. Pixels, are trauma. He leans back, releasing the tightness in his shoulders over the old yet smooth wooden chair (it¡¯s without a personality: I know right, what a surprise), getting a free self-massage that was purely habitual. The gloves laid themselves over a nearby flat surface sufficing as a rock table, although bolted to the wall, and deflated slightly over being laid at rest. Legs move with diamond calves in powerful suppleness, over a mirror, bringing an occupant. Their host has made a grim expression, though it don¡¯t differ much, especially to their usual of outrage. Everything done with confident deliberateness. Drat, they must know they still got an audience. Hurrying with an impossible sense, we hear a slam of their door and on our senses which cause our zoom-in to become a ¡®zoom-out¡¯. Guess mystery keeps the ¡®ship healthy. Well, we¡¯ll see, *smirk* we shalllll seeee! ufufufu. Gkf! They just sensed plot stasis! Gotta run, folks! Let¡¯s bother them at a later date, shall we? *wink* Ch. 6- The Forest of Nur Well, back on track. Or as I like ta say, avoid boxer time! Things¡.things. Ugh, I really wanna skip it. But the boxer¡¯s eyeing me again, so! King Angst pushes MC Francis to ze spotlight. Here we go. Wait, there¡¯s something blocking the view. While we was being busy with ¡°omg, lemme take a selfie with elusive Boxers!¡±) the Tree of Eternal Life was having a good day (having been around for a while, and it¡¯s not like he¡¯s just gonna run off on us). Skip! MC still had a funny feeling in his palm, but it was fading fast. He decided to shake his hand hard for good measure (and decided against shaking his own, also for good measure), and become The Thinker. He knew the botherers were now somewhere, but he worried not, after all, time heals all. And being a statue when having not-a-thing for doing makes him feel like a firmer, more solid and grounded person. *cough* Meanwhile, Scythes and pixies tumbled about in darkness, getting their bearings with the dim light in a grim forest. There was dark, damp forest (ah, who woulda thought) floor. Hmm, reminds me of somethin¡¯. Ah! Lemme guess¡ preening soldier, was it? Or was it coughing? Ah, nevermind, I see some red gloves in the distance. I¡¯ll¡I¡¯ll keep going¡.hahaha¡This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there. In such a dark forest of overhanging branches, some skeletons were admiring themselves in condensed shadows. Most of them had just woken up one day, and found themselves piled onto a mound. Some sort of invisible ligaments held them at their joints, and they moved without a creak. They just... wobbled off to start their day. Yep. Totally rad. Clothes weren¡¯t an issue, so it might as well be paradise. The occasional cawing of arrogance would overwhelm their hearing, them finicky feathered fiends who often plucked their bones and caused the most awful dents - absolutely horrid! My word! Inconceivable! one skellie helpfully added- but they didn¡¯t sense centipedes moving through their femurs, wrists, and arm bones. Skitter, skitter, shkoosh. Peek. Voyeur worms¡¯ noticing had not been noticed, nor any authorities dialed. Well, settings can change a lot, but they don¡¯t change one thing! Ha! En garde! Mooom, the Scythes and pixies are fighting agaaaaain¡. The struggle is real as foe fights fiend, hooves knocking, shoes clinking, armor clanking, scuffle sounds, neighs, barks, spells and curses and flashes of white, brown, and black wings trample the nearby tree into the ground, as it makes a ¡®meep¡¯ sound. While the Tree of Eternal Life sips robbed tea in the background, verrrry far away. ¡°Ah¡±, he says with bliss, ¡°Good Evening. It¡¯s ended right.¡± ________________________________________________ Post author comment: Still gotta edit. Argh. Maybe laterrr~~ Ch 7- ____Calm down, it鈥檚 being edited, I tell you! No worries~! In the end, Lell took it up with Elie. "I have come of the opinion that Neverr and the committee should perhaps have their own place on our list of concerns." Elie was practicing her chokehold on a soldier statue. Her day was nonchalant, mornings bright, and nights as dark as she desired. With the broken sun lighting up the world today, ''tis perfection. Until such demented silence was broken by Lell, a distant relative and high assistant of hers. Managed all the paperwork, and quite a few diplomatic meetings. The ways this woman could tie herself down and bring dullness to the best of the best days, Elie could only wonder. If Lell could do some self-bondage for her, though, with all the tying down, Elie wouldn''t mind. In fact, that''d be great. With all the things that disturbed Lell, Elie wondered how she was even related. In fact, she said it aloud. "How am I even related to you." Not that it was a bad thing, it sure would simplify the attraction, but solemnly. With urgency. It was hard to explain the concerns of differences despite blood. Blood was near everything in this army, after all. Besides, really, was she related? She herself wouldn¡¯t enjoy that much paperwork and keep up with the energy of the army.
Her high assistant scowled. She could think of a few choice words that would do nothing to further the discussion, but do wonders for her soul. As there were kingdoms, so too were there one Queen Elie of Destruction, having ruled for very long now; self-proven: the proof being in the headless Scythes cries, "I swear we''re fully functional, even if I hold my head in my hands. No despair rises from this!" Evidenced by their somehow tamed Pixie rides, really bringing out that, y''know, headless horseman trait. Dullahans, was it. It just happened, is all! Nope, nothing to do with this writer over here. Pay no attention to that lump in the corner. Busy explaining how the rulers of the lands balance each other out. Occasionally swapping or saving certain residents, such as Queen Elie, May the lord of this planet look on in woe. Card games are so not his forte. Queen Elie makes quick work of the statue''s vocals. Err, neck, that is. Snap! Crack! Strange how their face is still so stoic. Reminds me of a ... err... *cough* statue *cough* haha... Don''t stahp believin''! Her displeasure demonstrated, she stretches into a more casual pose. She has already heard news of Lell and Neverr''s talk, of the committee and new exceptions to nice, solid rules. Bending time is tricky business. Yada yada. In conclusion: strong, solidly organized, related to what they cared about whether for good or ill. Once every 20 years to a thousand, they may be willing to change a huge, butterfly-effect rule. Maybe. Definitely not daily! This story¡¯d require too much energy for my poor, drama-less heart. And this rule was one never changed before. "''Time shall not be tampered with.'' Balance means imbalance. Potato potahtoe, tomato tomahtoe. And how much do you think will be changed from this, Lell, dearie?" In a more calmer mood, Lell answers more jovially, "Just the glorious destruction of about a million stars." "Precisely!" Answers Queen Elie. Around them are smooth balconies leading down to more smooth balconies. Surrounding the pentagonal building is more forest areas, and trees that could look this building in the scalp, rather than the eye. And that''s when Lell realized. Time may have been altered, bringing about a new scent in the air of cayenne. But Lell was still standing. And so were the trees. And so too the building they stood in. A planet or two was restored, even. Big whoop. The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. Past and present blends with time travel, and time happenstance. What did it have to do with them specifically? Let it go. Let it tick and be one with the present time. And whether or not there is a meet n greet, or that things will just keep happening. And that''s the message, packaged and delivered in soldier''s blood to Neverr''s front door. On it, smeared, lays the type, "I, for one, am not holding my breath- Lell". She sent some ripped black cloth, looking suspiciously like the half-veil she''d worn to the veranda that day. ------------- And, yeah, she hasn''t still. -------------------- I finish adding the sun-stripped natural-grass-and-bark photograph to a bound binder of bark and twine. Me being in a tree recording this momentous event with my (mystifying) hand has nothing to do with anything, I protest and declare. Even if Lell is one hell of a daughter. Being an amoeba to myself? Worth it~~~! Self-marrying wasn''t a problem, the priest being a committee member and all. Seemed relieved, as though through the ceremony, all his guilt just washed away. But I''ve never met the guy before! Can I call myself ''we''? Just sounds nice and creepier. Perhaps it''d be best not to. Next time, then. Going back to extract all the Pixies and Scythes from that quaint, deadly, woodsy place, turns out they''d all found their way: some towards the Tree of Immortal Life, and some found the sole human inhabitant a delightful guide. Some George decided to be this guy''s neighbor. To that end, the side characters took care of everything. What a trip in the hippocampus. Whoo. I took one look at George, the definition of success, and thought about my hero status. Then I started eating bark off a tree in the Forbidden forest. Trust me, more delish than it sounds. Lots of sugary bark. Finished a whole tree off before I reluctantly paused. I''d become a side character for this tree, I thought. Chew this bark for a year or two. Doesn''t sound drastic. That was years ago, me being lured by a non-hero tree. Don''t hold a thing against the tree, though. It can''t manipulate thoughts. My lucky break, I do deeeclare. I think my daughter got it. Being an MC really isn''t hereditary though, it''s a real stroke of something or other. SLAM! The tree I''m in falls. I think I recognize those red gloves. Cloves? Alcove! Nah, let''s not "vee" everything. No punchline this time? Hai, hai. Sou desu. I see a hairline, then a pair of bottomless eyes attached to abs. Wait, there''s a face and head. Don''t forget the neck. Appendages, as appetizers? For a stretch of silence, we just stare. At each other, that is. It''s no longer plot police vs. MC. He was definitely chasing something or someone, to the Southwest of the tree I was in (before he had to go and collapse it, of all things! For pity''s sake!), who looked a lot like my Lell. He then gives me a hand up. This complex being keeping the plot going. I take it. And he says, "T''ain''t you no more." Speeding off in their usual paced gait. Working the usual miracles.
