 Chapter 1

    A lone man was lying down on the floor in an empty space, alone. He has dark brown hair, dark hazel eyes and about 6.3 ft.


    A few moments pass and before the man starts waking up.


    ¡°Huh...Where is this place? How did I get here? It doesn''t look like a hospital or any other kind of Medical care centre¡± the man thought before he decided to start standing up.


    ¡°Alright, let¡¯s start from what I can remember about myself and see if I can remember how I got here; I was walking home from a party a co-worker put together, drank some beer, played some games, talked to some girls, said a few jokes and left with a beer in hand, It was dark by the time I let so I decided to take a short cut through the park, I started to day dream with my beer in hand, or what¡¯s left of it, heard a loud bang, fell backwards and my vision started to fade. Then I ended up here for."


    As the lone man was trying to figure out how he ended up herea person, looking as if he was sculpted by God himself, appeared a fair distance awayfromhim. He had a muscular body, black hair, green eyes, and was dressed in some white loose fitting clothes and shoes, staring at the lone man with a enthused look on his face.


    The lone man wakes up from his daze and looks at the new arrival with an apprehensive look in his eyes, wondering how this man suddenly appeared in front of him and why he looks so happy while staring at him.


    The new guy keeps on staring at the lone man with a kind smile on his face


    ¡°Ah! Alex you¡¯re finally awake you must be wandering where you are and what happened to you, well in short you died and are going to be reincarnated into another world.¡± The handsome man told Alex.


    Alex stared at the weirdly at the handsome man as if he was looking at a lunatic.


    ¡°How did I die? And who are you? ¡± Alex asked in an inquisitive manner.


    ¡°I am what you would consider God, or at least one of them. As for how you died it¡¯s a short story, you were walking threw the park while daydreaming and accidentally happened upon a mugging from a shaky ass hat of a mugger. He was looking rather jumpy with a gun in hand before you appeared out of nowhere and scared him so much he pointed the gun at you and shot. ¡±


    ¡°Well I guess that helps explain how I ended up here as there is no such place to my knowledge of a place like this on Earth, I didn¡¯t really have any family but its a shame I never really found a lover. Now that my death is out of the way I have a few more question; you¡¯re a God? Are we in heaven, hell or limbo? Why am i here? Where do I go after I leave this place? If I''m going to be reincarnted would it be into my old world or a new world? Do I get to choose?¡±


    ¡°Well you seem awfully calm considering you died, oh well I guess that''s just one of your quirks, the others didn¡¯t react so calmly. As for your questions, yes, I am a God. No, you are not in Heaven, Hell or in Limbo we are in a separate space I made to have this little discussion with you, you are here so I could relieve some boredom of mine and start something that both of us would benefit from. You will be reincarnated into a world where strength and martial arts are all that matters and no you do not get a choice in which world you go to.¡±This story has been taken without authorization.     As God was trying to give a more detailed explanation a woman suddenly appeared out of nowhere behind him and started slowly walking towards God and Alex. Alex noticed the person appearing and stared at her. God noticing this gaze followed it and stared at the woman who suddenly appeared behind him and froze as if he was a child caught taking cookies out of the cookie jar. Alex noticing this looked at God with a question and confused look while thinking who this is.


    ¡°Maybe it¡¯s his secretary¡­¡± while Alex was thinking this. God, being about 6.5 ft. and muscular was getting lectured by a woman looking to be about 26 being 5.8 ft with a beautiful face, slender legs and a graceful figure that could take anyone¡¯s breath away giving God a smile, though beautiful, was filled with annoyance she glanced at Alex before finally looking back at God.


    ¡°Do you know what king of mess you got yourself in?¡± The woman asked God completely ignoring Alex, the only spectator to watch this magnificent sight.


    After a few glorious Hours of God getting lectured at by the woman, she finally stopped staring at him and turned to Alex, now it was Alex turn to be worried. While Alex was standing there the woman was looking at him with an analyzing gaze. After a while she left not saying anything to Alex.


    ¡°Now that she is gone what is it that you want to wish for? but remember there is a limit to what you can wish for, although we have raised it a little for you and the other people who died there is still a limit, you also get to keep any talents that you may have had when you were still alive if you had any to begin with.¡± God asked while looking at Alex.


    Alex, not expecting to be asked this decided to ask god a few questions.


    "Why are you asking me this? what wishes are you on about? There were others beside me! what happened to them and where are they?" God looked at Alex after e sot out those questions before finally answering.


    "Well for the first question, I am asking this as you and the other people have relieved some of my boredom, you were especially funny to watch so started to take a liking to you all. The wishes are for you to help in your next life, you will be reincarnated into a world of cultivation, it''s a dangerous world but would very interesting to watch you live though and yes there were other people that died, you all died at the same time although you were all not in the same country. There were people from India, England, America, Italy and other countries, mostly European though. The other people didn''t take dying as nonchalant as you did, well there was one but he''s already on his way to reincarnate and is already being supervised by someone else. I remember one person even said how their ''Deity'' will kill me if they aren''t returned, that ''Deity'' was rather embarrassed when I told them, hahahahaha."


    After God was finished with his laughing he turned to Alex.


    "Now I''ve answered those questions I''ll ask again, What is is that you want to wish for? you have a total of 4 wishes, but don''t go overboard with what you wish for."


    "Overboard!? What is considered overboard?" Alex questioned as he wanted to know how far he could push with his wishes.


    God, as if he expected this question, quickly gave off a list of things you couldn''t wish for.


    "Some examples would be: Immortality, Godhood, getting stronger just by existing and the power to create and destroy life, to give a few examples. Although you can still wish for something that as a lot of potential, such as a strong affinity for the elements as you decide how to use it or for you could wish for a mind without any limits though you would have to train you mind to make any use of it. All of these things are limited by the person themselves and how they use it." As God listed some things that would be considered as ''going overboard'' and possible Alex was mulling over what he would wish for.


    After God finished with his talk Alex decided to start listing the wishes that he wants granted.

    After God finished with his talk Alex decided to start listing the wishes he wants granted.


    ¡°Now I know what I can wish for I''ll just start wishing. The first thing I want to granted is to Have a hyper mind beyond what humans usually have to improve my memory and comprehensive abilities, something similar to the unknown space that the main character from Mar*ial *od *pace has except that I actually have the comprehension of the space instead of it being a separate thing and considering I''m going to a world of cultivation in my next wish I want granted is to always have the highest affinity with every element." As Alex was about to speak his next wish a question suddenly appeared in his mind.


    "God, I want to ask one more question before I continue with my wish list. You said I can''t choose what kind of world I am reborn into, but can I use a wish to choose what kind of family I am reborn into?¡± After Alex asked this question a moment of silence passed before God finally spoke.


    "Well it was never specified whether you couldn''t choose what kind of family your reborn into only that you couldn''t choose what kind of world your reborn into, so I see no reason why you can''t choose the family your reborn into. So, what family do you want to be reborn into? take your time to figure out what kind of family you want to be reincarnated into, you have all the time in the world and in my eyes eons pass in a blink of an eye so I don''t care about waiting but you will figure out the answer to your problem way before that amount of time could pass."


    Now Alex knows that he has plenty of time he takes his time to decide which kind of family he can be reborn into he puts some hard thinking into it and goes over what kind of families he could be reborn into along with their pros and cons.


    "A prince wouldn''t be bad, I would probably get some resources that would go towards making me stronger and a luxurious life filled with riches but the power struggle for the throne would be immense and the amount of people who would want to kill me wild be a lot. I guess being a prince is out. How about a Young sect master, no, the power struggle would probably be even worse with my life always being at risk at any moment although I would get many resources the pros do not outweigh my life. I guess I could become a..." Alex went through many more ideas before he sighed and decided that having a high and lavish life would be more dangerous even with all the benefits that living those kinds of lives can give. So he started to think what kind of family he could have without endangering his life too much, as well as, getting a few benefits from it. Half an hour passed before he came up with 5 family''s and from those families he chose his favourite.


    "God. I wish to be reborn into a family craftsman, preferably a Blacksmith father and a physician mother, is it possible?" Alex asked not quite sure if what he asked is reasonable.


    "Interesting choice for a family, sure you can be reborn into that family. What''s your next wish? you have 1 more wish left so make it count."


    After listening to Gods advice Alex takes a while to think about which wish he wants granted, one that he won''t regret in the future and will definitely be useful. Alex decided to properly think about what he wants his last wish to be before he makes a decision that could ruin his life so he thinks for a while pondering over any wishes that come to his mind along with any of their advantages and disadvantages that he can come up with. An unknown amount of time passes before Alex thinks of a wish that would be interesting to have and mentally smacked himself for not thinking of it sooner, it''s something he thought would be interesting to have and will definitely be useful no matter the situation, with that in mind Alex asks his final wish.


    "God I''ve decided what I want as my final wish. I wish to have the knowledge of my next life''s languagesso I don''t have to spend my time learning it and suffer because of miscommunication."


    "Sure I''ll grant your wish but don''t expect to get every language in the universe, your going to be reborn into a place where many languages hold words containing power, you''ll understand why I''m telling you this when you get their but for now I''ll give you the common language spoken in your next world. You will also get 5 other random languages when you are reborn, some of the Elven languages and other Human languages. These languages, except the common one, shall be locked inside of your head and will only be unlocked when you first discover these languages. As for your wish on increased comprehension, will still be a part of you, but it will rely on your strengthen it, you''ll learn why I''m saying this in the future. Now you have listed your wishes I''m going to give you some information about the next world you''re going to be reincarnated, meaning I''ll be telling you some of it''s history and origins as well as some of their known power levels the rest you''ll learn in your travels if you live long enough or when you get their so listen carefully."


    After listening to God''s warning Alex starts to focus on what God is about to say next as It may be important in the future and Alex doesn''t want to regret it later on.


    "In the beginning of the universe you will come to call your home there was nothing but the void, just a vast expanse of nothingness, except formless chaos this chaos. This formless chaos started to condense to form one form into the form of an cosmic egg, an unknown amount of time passed before the egg showed cracks, within the egg the perfectly opposed principles of Yin and Yang became balanced, and the first being emerged from the egg. She would later be called The First or The Mother of all in that universe. She was a being so beautiful she could light up even the darkest of places, a fire so bright and strong that it couldn''t be blown out and would just become more beautiful with time. As she opened her eyes that glowed a multitude of different colour''s, filled with vitality and serenity, she stared at the vast void contemplating on what to do next now that she had finally been ''born''. As time had not yet been realized the amount of time she took to think about what to do next is unknown however, in the end, she chose to explore the void as much as she could hoping to find something that could help her, but in the end she found nothing and started to feel a mixture of new and unknown emotions from fury to sadness all the way to the last emotion she felt which was loneliness. It may have seemed harsh on her and I could have helped her but it was for the best that things went that way as with the loneliness that she felt came the urge to overcome it and to get rid of it forever, so with these thoughts she decided on what she should do next to get rid of it and replace it with a better feeling.

With the formation of existence she started to shape the Heavens along with the Daos, the five pillars along with their guardians and the elements. She made the Heavens to influence and manage the Daos to keep them in check and make sure they don''t revert back to the Chaotic energies that they used to be, the five pillars existing to keep the heavens from collapsing and their guardians to protect the pillars from getting destroyed if they were ever found. ''The Azure Dragon'' as the guardian of the Eastern Pillar representing the element of Wood, ''The White Tiger'' as the guardian of the West representing the element of ''Metal'', ''The Vermilion bird'' as the guardian of the South representing the element of ''Fire'', ''The Black Turtle'' as the guardian of the North representing the element of ''Water'' and ''The Golden Dragon'' as the guardian of the centre pillar representing the element of ''Earth''.


    Many years pass before she completed these tasks, she looked around at her creation and noticed that although the world she created was beautiful she still had that felt lonely so she continued on experimenting finding ways to create life. Many more years passed until she realized that she couldn''t create life permanently without the energy she used to make it come back to her so she came to the conclusion to give her life to make many more, she made the ultimate sacrifice and blew herself up to fill the universe with life. The first universe collapsed from the sudden burst of energy yet from these remains the beginnings of a new universe emerged, many beings were born from her sacrifice they all had powerful and mystical powers from birth along with the knowledge of what these powers were and how they came to exist as well as boasting an enormous lifespan and Martial Spirits, you''ll learn more about this later on. These being would later be called the first generation of ''Gods'', they ranged from beasts to plants, to humanoids and marine life.


    The new universe even had something new that wasn''t in the previous Universe ''The Cycle'' a place the dead would go to be judged for what they did in life, with there being the Deva, Asura, Human, Animal, Preta, and Naraka Paths. Everything was new and many more creatures and cultures appeared thanks to these beings but as time passed these Gods got bored and started fighting against each other to find some enjoyment, this is how that worlds martial arts appeared. Many creatures suffered and died, many more had gone extinct until their was hardly anything left, of course not everyone wanted to fight they just wanted to live in peace without the worry of death hanging over their heads so they joined together and formed an alliance to try and bring balance. Millions of years passed before the universe calmed down but the damage by that time had already been done, countless amounts of people had already passed on using the ''The Cycle'' though without a way to erase a persons memories the killing kept on going going until a Young God decided to fix this problem she went on an adventure hoping to find a way to fix this yet she found nothing so she came to a revelation instead of looking for something that may not may not exist why doesn''t she just make a method. After this thought she found out that the things that will help the most were herbs that hold similar effects yet aren''t strong. In short this is how alchemy was discovered, and she ended up fixing the problem and became an Immortal being. Now lets get onto how they grade a persons strength, I''m only doing the mortal grades as you should learn the rest later If you live long enough to ever get there.


    The first realm is the Body Tempering Realm, the next is the Foundation Building Realm then the Foundation Establishment Realm after that is the Core Formation Realm, the True soul realm, Soul Cleansing realm, Soul Strengthening realm, Spiritual Body Formation realm and finally the Spiritual Body Realm. Now I''ve finished what I wanted to day It''s time for you to live again" As God said this a bright light flashed and Alex disappeared, all that was left in this space was a lone man with a smile on his face.

 Chapter 3

    Waking Up


    After the bright flash of light Alex began to start his new life although he didn''t know what was happening, all he couldn''t see anything as everything was filled with darkness. He couldn''t move, or use any of his senses. For a while Alex thought about where he could be, it took while before he realized that he was still in the womb. Alex was shocked he didn''t expect that God would reincarnate him at the literal beginning of his now new life, thinking that he could''t do anything but wait to be born Alex tried to make use of his new abilities that he got from his wishes. Knowing that he would be born into a world of cultivation where Gods and Devils roam freely he decided to try meditation, learning from the novels that he read from various websites he tried clearing his mind of any distracting thoughts and concentrated on trying to sense his energy whether it be inside his body or outside of it.


    A mysterious energy washed over Alex strengthening his soul, thinking that it was just his mother taking some medicine Alex went back to meditating. Unknowingly he fell into a deep meditation, something that is considered sacred by many people as such occurrences are considered near impossible to happen to someone as it''s not something you can seek it can only happen naturally.


    "Hmm? This is definitely strange, I didn''t expect to be able to sense the elements on my first try. HAHAHA!!! and authors made it out to be something difficult to do I guess it got something to do with me having the strongest affinity to the elements, my strong comprehension and that cooling sensation." Not knowing that he has done something many would envy. If other people from this world were to hear these thoughts they would be both shocked at his talent as well as angered by his words.


    "Lets try to see if I can tell which element is which. Let''s see, there''re multiple lights surround me yet their are two elements that stand out the most one bright, hot red/yellow one that''s vibrating quickly which I guess is fire and another which I presume is Wood or Nature for it''s green colour and soothing feeling, considering these are the brightest colours they must be the elements that my mother has the strongest affinity to. *inward sigh* I guess I can''t sense far enough outside her body to see all of the different elements and energies that I have an affinity to. Well considering that I have nothing to do but to wait some more lets figure out what the other elements are."


    It took a while for Alex to separate and decipher which element was which, red/yellow Alex guessed was fire, blue for water, green for wood, a transparent free flowing energy for wind, violet for lightning, brown for earth, a silver glistening element for metal, a gold energetic element for yang, a mystifying white/silver coloured element for Yin as it also seems to affect Alex''s soul slightly, a purple flowing/shifting element that shrouded the other elements which would be space, the mysterious time element that interlocks with space and seems to slightly affect everything around it, the dark element, and an extremely bright multicoloured element which sould be light. There was also a vibrant and energetic element which bought Alex warmth and comfort and another element Alex considered very dull yet dangerous it seems to decay every element that touches it making them listless, Alex could only assume these were te Life and Death elements.


    Finally the last two elements that madeAlex slightly confused. One appeared faint and dark yet it seemed to devour every element that touches it, Alex just ended up calling this new and dangerous discovery the Void element as it seems similar to what he read about in his old world''s novel and myth''s. The final element,the one he found the most incomprehensible, was an element that appeared destructive in nature yetappearedto be in harmony withevery element. Even the Void element seemed more docile next to this mysterious element. Alex considered this the sacred and probably the most dangerous and destructive element, Primordial Chaos. Finally finishing with naming all the elements Alex looked at the ones that were so small he wouldn''t know they existed, they acted differently that the natural elements but he didn''t bother figuring them out as they didn''t seem that important.


    "Wow! to think think a person could have an affinity for every element then again I guess its not that special considering they''re not as vibrant or strong as either wood or fire so mum probably doesn''t have a strong affinity to them. Although as she doesn''t have any use for them then i guess she wouldn''t mind if I use these weaker element for my own use, she may not even notice. If I remember correctly Yin has something to do with the spiritual aspect of the universe and Yang has something to do with the physical aspect of the universe, considering I''ve still not fully developed physically I''ll ignore Yang and just do Yin for now to strengthen my soul to see if I can strengthen the distance I can ''see''."


    Alex spent the next few hours trying to see if he can influence the Yin element to draw it closer to him but as it''s his mothers Qi, even if she has a weak affinity to it, it''s still not easy to influence. The most he could do was slowly draw some Yin Qi towards him, although Alex slips up from time to time and lose all of his progress then he would have to restart when he lost concentration. Alex rested for a while to regain his mental strength before taking another go at manipulating the Yin Qi, as this process of failing, resting and starting again continues on Alex''s control of Yin Qi improves at an increasingly fast pace and considering it''s someone else''s energy his improvement can be considered monstrous.


    Gradually the distance between the Yin energy and Alex shortens until he finally manages to assimilate the Yin Qi into himself and accidentally end up dragging along tiny amounts of Yang Qi along with it, because of he take in the Yin Qi he ends erasing his mothers ''mark'' and making the Yin & Yang Qi his own, and directs it towards his soul gradually making is soul stronger. Gradually absorbing the mysterious Qi''s until he improves his soul enough until he can ''see'' further. Having spent a while of his time, with little rest, trying to reign in the Yin Qi Alex got tired and falls asleep.Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.


    An unknown amount of time passes before Alex wakes up again and starts to cultivate his soul by absorbing more Yin Qi, this goes on for a while until he can even ''see'' his entire house. Having trained his soul a lot Alex gained a strong sense to feel the ''free'' Qi outside his mother, before Alex goes on and starts to absorb the ''free'' Qi he decides to try and find the so called impurities inside of his body that may stall his cultivation. So Alex, now utilizing his strong soul onto himself, he tries searching for the impurities inside his still developing body by going off of the description given in some of the novels he''s read. A substance black in colour, grimy and just overall nasty. It didn''t take long for Alex to find the impurities inside of his body and surprisingly some in his own soul as well. Knowing that the grade of Yin Qi he took depended on his mother he doesn''t panic, now knowing the location of the impurities in his body and soul he covers his body in his soul Qi and redirects it outside both his and his mother''s body, but only when she is having a bath or shower so it goes unnoticed.


    Now using the free Yin Qi in the atmosphere that suits the grade he is suited to he cleanses his soul and strengthens it. Now completely ''pure'' Alex goes on to see if he can do the same thing for his mother, making sure to only do it when she is in the bath so she won''t notice that much, days gradually pass by before he''s finished removing all of the impurities from his mothers body. Feeling pleased about his work he goes on and starts to do something else so he doesn''t become bored, Alex starts to attemp to use his soul Qi in different kinds of ways, the first being a full scan of his body to try and find his meridians.


    After scanning his body Alex starts to slightly panic as he can''t find his meridians. Knowing that meridians are meant to be a huge part of cultivation he panics, wanting to know what is wrong with him he decides to solely dedicate all of his attention on his body to try and find some semblance of meridians in his body. It wasn''t until he looked closely that he noticed that he does have meridians but they''re still developing and need to grow. Knowing that they will be important in the future Alex starts to count and memorize the location of each of his meridians. Counting 396 visible meridians and 126 less noticeable meridians Alex memorizes each of their locations. While counting his meridians Alex notices that along with the meridians Alex noticed another set of ''mystery spots'', the same amount as the normal meridians, not knowing what they are or what they could do he decides to not mess with them and just lets them develop naturally not forgetting to remember each of their locations as they may be important in the future.


    Now knowing that there is nothing to panic over Alex decides to calm down and see if he can figure out how the elements work by focusing on their movements and try to understand them to see if he really does have a comprehension similar to the mystery space. He begins with the ones that seem like they won''t take much time to understand, the Dao as it best known, Thunder, Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Wood and then get to both the light and dark elements. Alex begins with the water element watching its movements, interactions and how it feels. Slowly Alex starts to get a grasp of it''s movements interactions and how it feels, Slowly Alex''s understanding towards the Water element gets more developed. Knowing that water and ice share a very strong connection Alex gains some understanding towards ice as well.


    Days pass by. Alex has lost count of the amount of time that has passedas he is too focused towards understanding the Dao, days turn into weeks and week to months before Alex snaps out of his meditation now feeling slightly different. Alex now slightly confused as to why he feels different he tries to find out what is causing this feeling. After using his Soul power Alex pauses for a while as he is slightly shocked by how much his body has developed, this goes on for a few more seconds before he starts to focus on find out why he feels different, he starts by inspecting his soul but doesn''t notice anything that different besides a slight increase in strength he then goes to inspect his skin again nothing really changed besides its natural development, he then goes on to do the same thing for his veins and meridians besides the fact that they appear stronger than before he didn''t spend too much time on them.


    It wasn''t until he got to his bones that he noticed why he feels so different, there were some blue symbols that seemed to be engraved onto his bones, shining brightly with a blue hue. It took only a few more glances before he realized that these had a similar feeling to the water element, thinking that these must have appeared because of his understanding towards the water element, he is amazed at this new world and wonders how many more secrets of the new world he can unravel.


    "To think by understanding the Dao you can get these cool looking symbols engraved onto your bones I wonder if any other person has been born with these before, if this is what happens when you gain and understanding towards I wonder if I could get more cool looking symbols. lets see the next one I guess I could do would be fire I wonder what my bones would look like after that." Many people would shocked to death if they knew that something that people have spent years on trying to do had been done by a child who has yet to be born, especially considering that the only beings said to be born with the Dao on their bones are Divine beasts. Many would kill Alex if they knew that the only reason he''s doing this is to get these ''cool looking symbols''.


    For next few weeks Alex spent his time understanding the other elements, from water to fire to earth and air with the last being wood and thunder, finally Alex finished understanding what he thought was the basic Dao''s. Now having spent the first 5 months understanding the basic Dao''s he goes on to try to understand the more difficult ones such as Yin, Yang, Space and Time. His first focus was Yin as it was currently the most useful one so he the next 3 months gaining and understanding with it while also gaining and understanding towards Yang as well with how they interact, what causes this interaction and what are the results of this happening. The answers to the questions and many more that he thought up with his curiousness werewhathe was searching for. Time passed very quickly for Alex and by the time some symbols start to appear on his bones it was already time for him to be born.
