Suddenly, a loud war-like cry was heard in the distance, and a group of small bloodied little green creatures came out holding pikes. They looked similar to goblins... But goblins can''t exist unless I was actually transported to another world like how the system said. I didn''t want to believe it but afterremembering watching somethingcalled Slayer of Goblins, well I forgot the name but the thing was that it was really gruesome and terrifying. [I don''t want to a Goblin''s plaything] I paled at the thought of being ganged up on by these greenfreaks so I decided to use my free loot box. I lied about being a healer, but not about treating his wounds. Anyway, if I''m in a fantasy world, pretending to be a healer would make me be treated better. Chapter 2: Dropping the trash Mozambique "My name is Leon, thanks for the help," He said while his face went as red as a bamboo''s buttock. He was very embarrassed as he thought he was betrayed. He casually lifted up his shirt to see his wound, and funnily enough, his abs... No I mean his wound was repaired. "Nevermind that, even I would retaliate if I thought someone poisoned me or something, anyway what do we do about the goblins?" I said in a panic as there were now around eleven of these little green creatures closing in. "These... These are not goblins, they''re all orcs! They destroyed my village!" His face went pale, he grabbed my arms and ran. [Orcs? What part of them looks like orcs?] "Dammit!" I couldn''t run fast due to my slippers getting in the way so I had to lose them. [They were my favourite pair] We kept running through the grassy plain but there were nearly next to zero places to hide, the ''orcs'' were already quick onto our trail and my foot keeps stepping on small pebbles every now and there. Suddenly I heard something whistling towards me and without turning back, Leon tackled me to the side. "Shit!" We tumbled for a few seconds on the ground and my body was now filthy dirty. I looked up and what I saw made my skin crawl, it was one of the pikes. I imagined myself being impaled by one of them, I don''t think I would die immediately, it would be enough time for the monsters to mock and defile me while I slowly bleed to death. "Now we''re even" He laughed hopelessly, before standing back up again and facing the horde. I also smiled bitterly before also facing the rushing group, but I somehow can''t see how these small creatures can destroy a village unless there are countless numbers of them. Then suddenly, the small skinny brittlearms of the orcs transformed into a large monstrous muscular veiny arm, then their weak small legs changed too, then their body, then their heads. [I understand now, they used magic or have a magic user amongst them to turn themselves miniature so that people would think they are weak goblins] "Despicable" I moaned before holding out my right hands and summoned my only weapon. "Oof" It was pretty damn heavy. Leon didn''t know what was in my hands, but he was pretty surprised that I managed to summon something out of thin air, well he didn''t see how Ibrought out the syringes but it was his first time seeing something like this. "You''re a summoner? I thought you were a healer?" He said as he prepared himself to fight the orcs, these orcs were now at full strength and could easily outrun them. "I can summon objects, including items that heal, so I''m kinda both?" I said as I tried to hold up the stupid gun but it was too heavy even after using both arms. [Curse my weak noodle arms, I can''t even aim properly. How am I going to kill them?] "I''m level4 and have the warrior class, Ihave two abilities, Charge and Slash. But with no sword, I think I can only kill one of these orcs before dying..." [There are classes and levels in this world?] Yes, this world is a world of Adventures and Dungeons, everybody has a status screen where they can see their levels, abilities and stats. Everyone has one except you, the levels in your system is merely a cosmetic function tofit within this world so when people use ''inspection'' on you. He was actually waving around the small shotgun like a sword, swinging it around in circles or in a crisscrossed motion. Then, he suddenly aimed the gunat my face. "What does this do?" "Ahhh stop!" My face contorted into fear and my legs grew weak. [What if I accidentally die due to having my brains blown out by this fool?] The orcs were closing in and I needed to quickly explain the weapon works. I slowly backed away as he sheepishly lowered the gun while looking confused, he looked at my face with a hint of embarrassment. "You said it''s a close range weapon..." "Yes but it''s not a sword! Think of it as a crossbow but with a smaller range. Well, I mean we could have kept on running but the orcs were too fast for me. Leon could haveleft me and escaped after I healed him, but I''m glad he didn''t. [Dammit, they surrounded us, I wish I had another gun for self-protection but I guess I would have to run if any orcs come for me] "The orcs are level 9, I just hope that this weapon can close the gap," Leon said as heshoved me behind him. "My family sacrificed themselves so that I could run and live, but I passed out along the way and had almost bled to death. So many people died trying to save me, and that would have all been a waste if you also weren''t here to stop my bleeding" "Thank you, I will try my best to repay everything" He had a sad tone. I too would be sad if my whole family died, but luckily it was only me inside the house that day and it was only me who was burnt to death. Suddenly, he charged outswiftly. The orcs were looking down on us like ants and only one of the orcs moved to contest Leon. [I think he put all his points into agility? I don''t know much about what kind of attributes the people of the world can upgrade, but this guy looks a little to fast for a level 4? Well I don''t have much data to compare or make a judgement on topics like this, soI''m only guessing] The one orc that broke the encirclement and came to ''greet'' Leon was standing tall and was laughing mockingly. Leon rushed towards him and jumped. He jumped really high and pointed the gun at the orcs head. The orcwas going tograb him in the air but suddenly... ''Puchi'' The orcs head just exploded like a crushed watermelon. I winced as I saw the blood and brainmatter splatter into the air. Defeat all Enemies! (1/12) [Wait, why did it count as my success? I didn''t personally defeat the orc] Well although Leon killed the orc, the defeat does count if you assisted in doing so. Since you healed Leon earlier, which is a common supportive move, any further kills will be counted as your assists. [Nice, now I can sit back and relax and wait for the rewards to roll in] "Roar!" The orcs simultaneously bellowed in deep anger as they watch their brethren fall to the ground like a piece of dead meat. [Shit!] The remaining ten orcs had split up, eight went to Leon while two were rushing towards me. Meanwhile, Leon was staring at the Mozambiquewith a hint of dumbfoundedness and awe. At least there is one person who likes the gun... Chapter 4: Yeet Steps "I can take care of myself" I shouted across with all my might to Leon, he had enough to worry about with eight orcs tailing him, the last thing he needs is a distraction. [Dammit, what am I going to do?] "Ok, but if I see that you''re in trouble, I will come help...Reload" He replied while replenishingthe missing shotgun ammo, he might as well do so while there is still time for the orcs to come. The shotgun opened ups its chamber automatically and a big red bullet appeared out of thin air, it quickly entered the empty hole of the chamber before closing itself up. [So that''s how the reloading looks like] Leon then decided to rush towards the closest orc. "Roar!" The orcs were angry, these two humans kill one of their own and were casually communicating in front of them like nothing had happened, they were extremelyfurious and started to sprint with all their might. I was petrified, the ground shook heavily like there was an earthquake, two tall muscular orcs were rushing to tear me apart. In the midst of everything, I decided to formulate a plan. This plan is called Yeet Steps. Yeet step requires the mind of a professional gamer where you can run and dodge anything with quick reflexes. I think my reflexes are good enough to weave around the orcs for enough time until Leon gets here. ''Puchi'' Defeat all Enemies! (2/12) [That was quick! Wait damn, they''re here!] The two tall orcs rushed towards me while I decided to bravely rush towards them. With their huge body, maybe it is possible to put the theory of Yeet Steps to use. They screamed mournfullywith deep-seated anger due to another one of their brethren falling. Suddenly, they were within a few metres of me, and I wasn''t feeling too good, so maybe I overestimated my ability. One orc threw his pikes towards me, but as soon as I saw his arms arch backwards, I was already prepared. I jumped to the side before he released the pike. ''Wooosh'' The pike barely missed my waist and had etched itself deep into the ground. Fuck!] The orcs had now changed their goal from tearing me apart to ''tearing me apart'' so they decided to focus on capturing instead of killing. One of them swooped down their thick giant hands but I rolled forward to dodge it. I was now at his crotch area, it smelled like a rotten sewer down there but I decided to punch it. "Ouch" My hands felt like it hit a brick wall. "Awoool!" The orc bent over in pain, I was confused but this was now a chance moment and I decided to punch his face. Suddenly, I heard a crack. I thought that I cracked my own fist but instead, it was the orcs nose that broke. [System, what''s happening, how do I have this strength?] I thought as I decided to retreat as the other orc came to assist his fellow injured ally and gazed at me warily. Well, you thought I would send you here with barely anything? In Apex Legend, the champions are able to punch and kick with great strengththat can even push back their enemies. All I did was give you a hidden passive that enhances your punches and kicks to be like them. This doesn''t enhance your basic strength which is why you were barely able to hold the Mozambique with your weak skinny arms. [Well then why didn''t you tell me of this beforehand?] Because you were meant to discover this yourself, if you didn''t fight, you wouldn''t know, and you would possibly die. But that is alright because you are my first ever host, a trial host and I can choose another one if you die. [Wait I''m just a trial run? Is that why you sent me here? To die? This fight is impossible to win by myself even with the hidden passive, but that doesn''t explain why you didn''t place this hidden passive ability under -Passive Abilities] Well, it''s called hidden for a reason... Chapter 5: Punching a Thicc Orc To be honest, I really like how this bandana feels on my head, and I probably look great too. I couldn''t help but swirl and hold a bunny ear finger pose like Lifeline, except she does it more naturally while I was very rigid. Icringed embarrassedly as I saw the bloodied nose orc look at me with deep seethed anger and a small hint of fear. The other orc looked at me wearily and they both decided to slowly separate and take me on from two different sides. They were shockedby my strength, well in actuality only my punches and kicks are enhanced, but they didn''t know that. And although I found myself liking the bandana, I would have loved to get another gun even if it is anothermozambique. [Dammit, I need them to be together so I can get them both with the thermite grenade] Because of this, I tactically retreated by sprinting with my full speed away from the battlefield. While retreating, I was still keeping an eye out for that damn mage. This mage can change the battlefield at any moment by using magic. I don''t know how magic works in this world but causing things to grow smaller, especially the orcs in the plain where the grass grows tall enough for them to hide if they are miniaturized. We could lose sight of them while they are able to advance through the grass like ninjas while Leon and I are in out in the open. There is another problem, the mage could have additional spells in his kit that could very much catch us off in surprise. Still, as I briefly gaze into the distance, I can see that Leon''s momentum is still going strong. Defeat all Enemies! (3/12) But it seems like the orcs had figured out his pattern and decided to slow down their approach and move more cautiously. Within the orcs camp, they had no magical items what-so-ever, and thank gosh for that, otherwise, we would have been overpowered by them. The two orcs tailing me kept going at my pace in order to maintain a safe distance but also at a distance where theywouldn''t lose me. [How annoying, maybe I should just kill one now with the grenade and fight the other?] As I was just about to summon the grenade, I heard a swooping sound from above.If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. And he made himself smaller so that he could mount that raven! Dammit, I got to deal with three enemies now...] The Yeet Step strategy was still viable and due to my reflexes, I toduck down in time to avoid major damage, but my back was still scratched by the raven''s claws which left a huge bleeding cut. -21 Health Status: Bleeding - Lose 1hp per 60 seconds. Health: 72/100 [This shit is too painful!] I moaned as a hunched over to kneel onto the ground. The crow and the mage then left the scene satisfied with what they had done and decided to circle over Leon. To be honest, I was happy that the fight returned back to the 1v2 scenario but I was also worried for Leon. I heard he was someone from a village and was not an adventurer, so how would he be able to fight all those enemies by himself? Based on his muscles, perhaps he trained his body rather than his levels, which is why he could be so strong for someone at a low level. With the gun, he should be able to hold on for a while, but I need to go there and assist him. I too can fightthanks to my reflexes and the hidden passive. Defeat all Enemies! (4/12) Leon got another kill.Every notification of defeating an orc brings a sense ofpeace to my mind. Normally hearing about death would upset me, butsince it is linked to my very own survival, I would gladly have it shoved in my face eight more times. I shouldn''t be distracted by Leon now, I need to swiftly defeat these orcs then go and assist him, after all, I only have two enemies to face while he has many. I suddenly stopped running and faced the orcs. They also stopped and growled at me menacingly. In that brief moment, I decidedto use the syringe and fight. (Syringe used) + 25 Health Health: 97/100 My wound closed up and I no longer felt any pain at all. Thankfully, I didn''t waste a single digit of health due to the bleeding effect as I used it before 60 seconds had passed. The two orcs realised what had happened as they lost the upper edge that their leader had given them and in a fit of rage, the two orcs charged at me. I decided to stand my ground and wait for them to arrive, I stood in a casually fighting pose, but I knew nothing about how to fight, I didn''t even know any basic martial arts or boxing moves. I''m just a video game streamer. [I should be fine as long as I punch or kick defensively if I do that when they attack me, I should be able to at least repel them with the hidden buff] One of the orcs charged at me with a punch, and in return, I punched back. ''Boooom!'' My body flew2 meters backwards but in return, the orc flew3 meters backwards. [These orcs have massive hitboxes! I can win this fight!] I smirked victoriously while the two orcs looked at me in disbelief. Chapter 6: Wheres my EXP? With their massive body, I can easily attack any inch of this slab of meat to inflict damage. Suddenly, the injured orc with a bleeding nose charged at me from behind. I suddenly jumped and did a roundhouse flying kick; it caught the orc off-guard as the kick landed in its face. It was a very ugly rigid kick with weak forms but albeit, a kick is a kick, which still activated the hidden passive. The orcs face caved in, and he died as his brain was crushed by his own skull. Defeat all Enemies! (5/12) [It''s dead already?] I was so confused, but I think it was because I hit the centre of the orcs forehead which could be a weak point? The other orc was dumbfounded. He was in a state of shock. Usually, they were the one who easily killed humans, but now they were being killed off one by one by two weak looking ones. Defeat all Enemies! (6/12) Leon defeated another, under the watchful eyes of the mage, which angered it deeply. The last remaining orc on my side decided to bang his chest like a drum. ''Roar!'' The orcthen rushed towards me in a fit of rage. [Oh Shit!] It jumped up into the air a couple of meters high with the intention of falling on top of me with a smash. Even if I punch or kicked upwards, this momentous smash would be stronger than my attacks and I would be crushed into a meat paste. I quickly jumped sideways and rolled to safety while the orc arrived at my original spot. ''Boom!'' The earth caved in to form a small crater, hundreds of grass fly unfettered and free, and specks of dirtfogged the area while almost getting into my eyes. [Dammit!] Should I pull out the thermite grenade or not? It seems this orc has adapted and changed its usually fighting style. Suddenly, I found something odd. The orcs arm was stuck inside theground and he was desperatelytrying to pull out. I didn''t waste any more time of this God-givenopportunity by rushing up to the kneeling orc and did another roundhouse flying kick. Defeat all Enemies!
