《The Second Divine》


 1)The Introduction or not

    Please note that () encase author notes and that ill explain why its so poorly edited in the end

    "In the thundering storm when hope is lost the heir to power shall not be distraught more from life he would want not but the desire to live will echo through his heart" such are the words written in the shrine of the divine hidden deep within a deep and huge jungle of which the origins are unknown .Our story begins with a young man named "Ryuga Raiha"

    6.1 feet, dark black hair brushed with the right side standing up and the left side facing forward and long enough to cover his face, his eyes were red and his canines were a bit longer than usual thus earning him the nickname "vampire" from his middleschool classmates.He was white and wore a white shirt under a black coat with the zipper only half closed as casual wear ,he passed and enrolled into"Godsent highschool" though all the sentient species went their separate ways when the reign of mankind ended in due time they forgot their resentment for man and it imprinted itself as impulse or instinct and because they were stronger and smarter than mankind who had lost their divinity and because of their superior abilities they knew what man had forgotten over time that they were not alone and had already begun their co-existence and formed societies having said that we will now move back to our story of an average highschool with an average amount of students the only thing that stood out was that it was a church funded school hence it was religious institution encouraging the worship of god as a merciful entity. On the first day of school, Ryuga was going to school when a girl with red purple hair dyed pink towards their ends and wearing the usual school uniform comprised of a skirt and the normal clothing seen in a lot of anime normal breasted thin waist and normal hips... her eyes were purple and her first impression on ryuga was cute as he was taken over by her beauty suddenly came running towards him and pushed him aside not knowing what had happened ryuga tried to regain his balance only to grab onto her long hair and fall. the girl fell on ryugas chest almost breaking his ribs, she quickly got off and apologized for what happened

    "sorry, i wasn''t looking where i was going please forgive me"

    to which ryuga replied

    "its ok, all that could have happened was that my ribs could have broken nothing serious"

    though ryuga meant it as a joke to lighten the mood the girl thought of it as sarcasm and apologized again before leaving. Ryuga realizing he was getting late for class rushed over to class. During the introductions he realized that the girl who bumped into him in the morning was in his class and her name was "yuki himeragi" who also had seemed to have realized who ryuga was. After class she apologized to him saying

    "ryuga right.. I am sorry for this morning i was in a hurry because i the alarm wasn''t set correctly"

    to which he replied

    "like i said don''t mind it.. besides it makes me feel guilty having you apologize so again and again"

    to which she replied

    "..sorry"

    seeing that their conversation was at a stalemate he invited her for lunch offering to treat her but she said that she had the money needed so she would have liked to refrain from imposing but accepted the offer as they had lunch together a boy from the same class came up to Yuki and asked her to have lunch with him she refused but he insisted that she come with him to have lunch ignoring ryuga , after refusing multiple times he held her hand and asked in a way that resembled an order to have lunch with him, seeing this ryuga stood up and held the wrist of the hand with which he was grabbing yuki and asked him to leave saying

    "she is already having lunch with me and it doesn''t look like she likes you very much so please leave"

    as the sentence concluded the boy tried punching him with his other hand but he caught it with his left hand making him let go of yuki he got close to him and punched him such that no one else saw him punching the boy as they were sitting in the corner and his back was against the wall having no choice but to leave the boy left with a hand covering his stomach after that yuki thanked him for helping her but he modestly replied

    "that wasn''t a big deal you should have seen what happened at our middle school" ---(at this point i should explain he was from a middle school known for its rogue characters and delinquents though he rarely fought he still picked up a few things studying there)

    after the event the classes began and ryuga noticed that the boy from lunch time was one of his classmates after classes he introduces himself to ryuga as "Henry Smith" ruga noticed he was quite handsome

    "yo, newbie iam repeating classes cause of my grades and well cause i dont want to get out of school and work myself... the ladies are just extras i get"

    noticing that the later part was no exageration he replied with

    "and what would a lady killer want to do with a man?"

    "obviously kill you but in a different way" (after saying this he started laughing at his own joke)

    "anyway i noticed you got the best newbie all to yourself.. thats not good you should share what you have with your friends" (pointing towards a group of boys who appeared to also be repeating grades looking towards them and grinning)

    "ok... what do you need" (at this point i should mention that he survived middle school by not fighting not because he striked fear in the hearts of his classmates but cause he was a bit of a pushover and ofcourse weaker than most of them and that became a habit though it was a all boys school so he never really faced a situation where he was asked for a girl)

    "didnt you hear me i asked for a piece of that hot chick you got with you" (yuki was talking with other girls nearby pretending not to hear but secretly keeping tabs)

    "does this look like a brothel and me its caretaker? if you want help with something i can do please dont hesitate to ask but iam no slave trader" annoying henry

    "wise guy ehh? well boys looks like he aint a slave trader... doesnt that make him a slave by the predator and prey rule?"-(sort of like the rule of the jungle)-facing the group of boys from earlier

    (at this point i should mention that henry is a foreinger if you already didnt figure it out who spent most of his time in africa since his parents didnt really care about him and used him as a publicity stunt to gain more wealth for their trusts --- yes they were rich and ofcourse he hates them for its this negilance that made him who he is today )

    "the what and the who"

    boy 1 from the group obviously the stupid one

    knocking the stupid ones head

    "he means that we will not use this guy as our slave"

    boy two the brains and a bit of beauty (also popular amongst girls --- yes uptil now most of the cool ones are jerks and i write what i want deal with it also this is just me trying to give the main story a backbone and i am more interested in the later events so just bear with it)

    "but i wanted a female friend... ohh well i guess we got ourselves a homework boy" boy 3 the normal one

    "yes you are here tommorrows homework do it for me k pal?" henry

    "but...but... i dont want to"

    "and here i thought you were our friends" the smart one while handing his own work (boy 2)

    "here mine too" the normal one (boy 3)

    "mine too... mine too... slave boy" the stupid one

    at this point yuki intervened tell them to do their own work or she will report them to the teacher

    "thanks yuki" ryuga

    "couldnt you have handled them all by yourself?" (showing a different side of herself)

    while thinking about it he answered

    "yes... yes i could i think it became a habit"

    "sorry.. for... yelling at you ryuga i thought you were just acting cool infront of me in the cafeteria happened to me before too.... i thought that tough looking boy was working with you... sorry for doubting you"

    "huh?"

    "like i said iam sorry... please forgive me"

    "for what? nevermind i forgive you"

    "anyway i think i should head home to my apartment... see you later ryuga"

    "ill go back home too see you later"

    leaving at the same time the two notice they are heading in the same direction..

    "umm ryuga are you following me?" (starting to doubt him again)

    "i am not... my apartment happens to be this way too"

    near their apartments their paths diverge on different sides of a huge wall separating the street in two with an apartment at each ends. they notice that their apartments are very closeby and being on the second floor they can see each other (the second floors higher than the wall and ofcourse its not a romcom unless it has a twist and a bit of a romantic situation now is it so lets give them rooms which face each other) both had just moved in so after changing clothes to their casual wear... yuki wore a skirt and (i dont have any knowledge about what womens t-shirt like things which they wear with a skirt is called and my net connection is down so... ill call it a ft-shirt (female t-shirt)-) ft-shirt after changing she opened the window and looked out noticing ryuga playing RPGs (not the standard dating sims cause i have no knowledge how they work and i cant use something i have no knowledge of unless its necessary) on his computer (copyright problems sorry... cant tell you which one) and immediately thought he was a stalker (how conceited is this girl? well not much just cautious since shes had run ins with them before--- also anything else is a spoiler) thought after a while of observing carefully she noticed he didnt even look out the window and was immersed in his game taking a breath of relief she calls him not hearing a thing because of his headphones (playing with a song on.. again copyright) --- at this point i should also mention that their terraces are close enough to cross over --- silently crossing over she crept towards him and gently patted on his back (again mentioning that ryuga had his doors locked) immediately jerked it off because of his reflexes and because he thought it would be a ghost or a burgular surprised by this yuki says

    "sorry... for startling you... i just wanted to surprise you"

    "are you perhaps a stalker? is someone paying you to keep tabs on me?" (over protective parents who dont approve of him living alone)

    "no... iam not... i just happened to move in to the apartment next door"

    after saying so she started to giggle because of the irony (she thought hes a stalker didnt expect him to call her one)

    "whats so funny?"

    "nothing.."

    "anyway how did you get in here? and why?"

    "through the terrace and ofcourse to greet you why else"

    (she was just being cautious and was scared of him so she was a bit shy before but after all her suspicions went down the drain she is being herself)

    (surprised by her tone) "anyway now that your here do you want to play" --- pointing towards the console ---

    "ok since iam here"

    and they start playing (kind of felt dumb mentioning that) while playing a Co-Op FPS (which were ryugas weakest game type since he usually plays rpgs but hes still better than yuki) ryuga asks about why she is so cautious of men

    "sorry.. i dont mean to its just that i have had alot of stalkers and once one of them tried to assault me i just happened to have a taser on me since i thought i should stay safe and used it before he could do anything but i got traumatized"

    "but people dont usually carry tasers... and they dont get so cautious just because someone tried assaulting them" (used to being assaulted just in a less sexual/perverted way)

    "thats something i dont like to talk about sorry"

    "well lets just play then. sorry for asking"

    "its ok...... watch out" shooting the guy behind him with a taser (in the game tasers are a thing in some games such as ~~Dead island~~ stun guns (copyright can go suck it this time the jokes more important)-)

    "thanks"

    after finishing the game they both notice its late and go to sleep.. the next day the boys from the day before (yes iam not discarding them just yet they must play a huge role in the development before dying) standing at the school entrance ask ryuga to meet them after school in a friendly manner (if you can predict it please do... its not a big secret what happens when someone is told off and made to realize their mistakes in anime) during lunch the boys share their lunch with ryuga who forgot his and yuki was absent cause she didnt do her homework (yes the game took most of her time ryuga already completed his before leaving school before henry started talking to him as henry) after school they tell him about a trip to the mountains they which they made every year as a sort of things and decide to do it during the weekend.

    on friday afternoon ryuga packed the necessary material for the trip and rested.. yuki making it into his room noticed the packed bags and asked what they were for and whether he was leaving the apartment cause he thought she was a stalker

    "thats not it... i didnt want to tell you because you would tell me not to go but remember the boys trying to make me do their homework... they asked me to go with them on a trip to the mountains"

    "ofcourse i would what if they did something to you out of revenge for not introducing them to me"

    "bragging? anyway they have been nice to me ever since you told them off so i dont think they will do something like that"

    remembering that its true they have been nice to him tells him to take his cellphone and keep it on him then tells him to wait and goes outside.... she returns after a while and hands him a map of the region he will be visiting before seeing him off

    Hey guys this is my very very old first novel i wrote when i was like 13? anyway i waited for a chance to proofread it and edit it so its pleasing to the eye but honestly its been years and i figured i wont be doing that (took a while to figure it out huh)

    If you liked the story and wish to read ahead (i only have the first volume finished with 10 chapters) then please help me edit them, message me privately if you are seriously going to help with that we will discuss the details then

    if this hits off ill write the second volume (else ill move to my second story written at like age 15. yes not posted for the same reason) and honestly i love that one wayyy more than this since this is more of a wish fulfillment of a bullied kid (not anymore tho am the opposite of a bullied child now)

    Ill post another chapter or two soon and see how it works

 2)The second Divine or not

    on the first day the boys split up to look for firewood and animals to cook and eat (camping out in the mountains) after finding some firewood ryuga returns to find that there was no one there after waiting a while he remembers yukis warning and gets worried but then as soon as he was about to take out his map he remembers he forgot his compass and without it the map would be useless...

    and just as soon as he started to despair the rest of the gang returned with a boar relieved to see them he started a fire and they ate their fill on the second day nothing happened on the third day ryuga woke up to find that everything around him which didnt touch him was gone (fortunately the cellphone did touch him but it was out of service range so again not so fortunate)

    after waiting for a while he realized that the boys ditched him and yukis jinx came true after all and immediately took out his cellphone from his pocket (told you it was touching him) seeing it was out of service range he despaired and started to think of how to survive an hour passed and he stopped worrying and thought about how he ended up in this mess in the first place and thought about his life up until then... after 4 hours he started to lose his sanity and the day passed with him wandering through the forest looking for someone or for the road thought he didnt find someone he had found food (his bag was left... i guess they were feeling guilty and it had matches ignitors and alot of other things but no compass remember kids compasses are useful as fuck and fucks aint useful at all but are being used as a figure of speech - i dont like lewd stuff so iam denoucing fucks.... anyway continiung) and hunted a couple of squirrels (poor squirrels) and other small animals cooked them and eated them for 2 days before finding someone in a cave when he was searching from shelter from the heavy rain and by then he had lost his sanity and regained it through satisfying his urges and thinking (as they say insanity is just the first step towards enlightenment, just fyi ik you dont get enlightened in 3 days itll be explained in the future) that someone turned out to be nothing more than a tree though... with fruits hanging out... he picked a fruit off the tree and it yelled

    "ouch!!"

    "huh?"

    "thats rude picking off one of my children just to eat it"

    "huh?" (obviously quite confused)

    "anyway i was sent to give you something but the rain started and i already had plenty of water and dont want to wither away so i took shelter"

    "that doesnt explain why your talking and what were you supposed to give me"

    "death" (the tree said in a serious tone)

    "ok death... a talking tree wants to kill me... ok iam waking up now"

    ryuga pinches his cheeks but doesnt wake up (ofcourse he doesnt it isnt a dream after all)

    "so not a dream and a talking tree wants to kill me... am i hullucinating?"

    "ohh you misunderstood me human.. by death i meant a new life"

    "i see how you made a mistake.. i mean they are practically the same thing arent they"

    "when you have immortality you see no difference"

    "im-what?"

    "the divine tree provided me with the gift of immortality so long that i obey him iam from an ancient race of trees"

    "the divine-what? race of trees? make sense please"

    "well all will be explained by the tree iam just here to give you its gift.. the potion of awakening"

    "so iam dreaming after all.. ok give it to me"

    without a second though he drinks the potion (even though he gave up on it being a dream and knew that it wouldnt be so convenient he still gave it a try after all if a talking tree gave you a potion with the name "potion of awakening" wouldnt you consider it a potion to wake you up from the dream?)

    "hey, iam not waking up"

    "foolish human this is not a dream.. this potion was meant awaken your divinity"

    ryuga starts to feel sleepy...

    "but its making me... sll..ee.py"

    ryuga falls on the ground and the tree picks him up using a branch and puts him in his canopy (the tree was big the cave was huge)

    in the dream the tree explains everything that happened before he was born he tells him that

    Once upon a time there was nothing in existence. There were no humans planets or even universes.All there was, was a tree a giant tree as big as a universe even though there was no light its leaves were green, even though there was no soil it still lived, the tree had a gift the gift of divinity what it wished for happen and what it didn''t wish for didn''t happen even with this gift the tree never wished for anything but one day it blossomed and gave all its divinity to two fruits and withered.One of the fruits had no form while the other was like a giant apple

    one had the gift of life and and hence become god since he was the only choice the tree had for its heir hence it became divine. eventually god became bored with his life as he had nothing to do nothing to see just exist so he decided to create other life for his amusement hence he made every universe in existence and kept making enough for mortals to think them uncountable and thus infinite he then created life on different planets spread out across the entire every planet in existence and finally he created man as the most fragile sentient being in existence fragile enough that god thought he had to protect them and hence make a safe place known as heaven for them around that tree and lived with them treating them like fragile children forgetting about the lifeless fruit which had a secret gift only the tree knew of one day man stumbled upon the withered tree and wondered why was such a huge withered tree in such a paradise but then as though a mysterious force was calling him man was drawn to the giant apple and out of curiosity took a bite from it. the apple turned to light and infused itself with man changing his body from a weak and weary sight to a race with an equal might to every other species and a voice revealed "behold creation of the fruit with life thou now have the power of command. with it thou can commandeth the creations of the fruit with life and create thy own life as thou art chosen for my divinity use it as you seem fit" with that man thought for the first time felt for the first time and as the word power echoes within his ears he grew greedy and wanted more eventually confronting its own creator and devouring god when power surged within its body it wanted more and more eventually conquering all of that which exists but still wanting more and thus the withered tree grew weary of mans arrogance and decided to take away its power but having made a promise that he may use its powers as it pleased it could not do anything to man itself but thought of a way too diminish its power he told man "thou art the conqueror of all that exists is there something else thou desires?" the man replied "even though i have conquered all.. seen all... heard all... have all... all the sentient beings worship me and those who don not are either in agony or in a place i call hell with unimaginable torturous and treacherous contraptions and land made of fire but i still lack something" the tree replied "does thou not have a companion to rule with thee?" knowing the answer it quickly added "then thou are missing a companion to share your kingdom with" and thus man created a companion

    the two eventually gave birth to a child and with that the tree sealed the power inside them while stealing some for itself.

    Man got furious that once the ruler of the universe he is now but one of the sentient beings who worshipped him as god.Slowly the stories of his reign became legends and legends became myths eventually fading out from history and every sentient being went its separate ways man settled on earth and thus began humanity. the tree felt guilty as it gave a child the power of divinity and thus awaited a rightful descendant of man who knew not of greed but took only what he knew was his right to take days turned to months which turned to years which turned to decades which turned to centuries to millenniums but no one with a pure heart and greed of only that which it needed emerged until you came ...( third personc cause you know the wise helping character junk)

    exhibiting doubt ryuga looks at the tree with suspicion

    "ok back up... iam no pure hearted and i have tons of things i want"

    "what?" the tree looks at ryuga with confusion

    "didnt you lost your worldy desire in the past days?"

    "nope... i just got bored of wanting them"

    "so you did.. dont give my old heart a heart attack"

    "but your a tree"

    "figure of speech"

    (forced comedy)

    "this aint a comedy routine just get to the point i need to get out of here and go back home"

    "i can help you with that but until you master your powers i shall only give you a limited amount to use.. you cannot influence reality but you can increase your luck... physical strength... make illusions and other things"

    "how does this help me?"

    "you can change your strength and you no longer need to eat or drink or anything.. you are immortal and you body is tougher than anything in existence... not even you yourself can pierce it for now and you already have been given more power than anything in existence"

    "ok... i dont need power just tell me how to use it to go home"

    "very well but first you must master the powers you have been given"

    (they are still in the dream) ryuga spends years mastering his powers and in the end the tree removed the limited (dream years mind you he could still wake up with only one second passed in real life) and he mastered every power a divine could have in thousands of milleniums of dream time and when he is done he was given one final gift,the trees wisdom (yeah if he gave it to him in the beginning he would still need to train... there is a difference between forced knowledge self experienced knowledge and practical use) when he wakes up he acertains the time using the position of the sun and teleports home... to his surprise yuki was in the room playing a videogame while remembering ryuga and crying who suddenly stopped and looked at ryuga with a confused and surprised look.

    "stuff happened and well some tree gave me divinity"

    "di-v-in-ity? this is serious you lost your mind"

    "well i did come out of thin air"

    "i must not have been paying attention you must have snuck inside"

    realizing its pointless to argue and not not in the mood to prove it

    "hehe... i was just joking around"

    "how could you joke around?? i was seriously worried jerk"

    she shouted while crying then suddenly embraced ryuga

    "dont do that again.. i even gave you a map didnt i?"

    "i didnt have a compass"

    "you forgot your compass? stupid... i was seriously going to call the police and report henry if you didnt show up another day i gave the teachers an excuse i told them you were sick"

    "i looked for you in the mountains for hours... where were you?" "in a cave on a tree"( a day had passed during the dream)

    "in a cave?" she asked with a confused look? "nevermind all that matters is that your safe and sound all this worrying is not good for my health"

    ryuga notices that she is developing a fever and cures it simply by thinking about it

    "looking at you safe and sound made me feel alot better somehow"

    "maybe you love me?"

    "ofcourse i do your like a brother to me" (i must mention she doesnt have a brother and was never really this close with any males before ryuga)

    "dont make me worry like that again"

    "ok... sorry... the truth is i am very relieved to see you again too" "to return home"

    "anyway sleep for today you have school tommorrow and heres the notes i took them for you"

    "thank you very much" (he could have thought them into existence)

    after she goes away ryuga puts a limiter on his powers to 4 things

    "strength" "wisedom/intelligence (i know they are not the same)","teleportation" and the ability to slow down time ( about the same as the final form of slow time shout wont mention the game cause its a famous rpg and copyright would chew me twice)

    and slept... next day he makes it to class and henry and his henchmen + the smart one look at him with a confused look. he greets them with a huge smile which obviously isnot enough to mask his dark aura and since hes a god their instincts make them a bit afraid of ryuga.. after class he goes to the boys and says

    "that was not a nice prank.. i wonder how i should take my revenge"

    "we do this every year... we help the new students learn how to survive in the wild... we were going to come and get you after classes but you already returned... good job" obviously afraid of the malic henry puts on a fake smile

    "ohh so that was it? i did learn how to survive... as thanks i would like to treat you to something please come with me"

    surprised at how easy it was to trick ryuga the boys follow him to a restaurant

    "please dont hesitate todays meal is on me"

    after eating their fill henry takes the bill and heads towards the counter slowly... waiting for when no one was looking (the restaurant had few customers and was a high class restaurant where they got their own small walled eating area) and teleported out. noticing they havent paied their bills the staff(ryuga had already added the power to portray illusions in his arsenal and made the staff think he was never there)the police (the bill was of about 100$ in a country where the average pay is about the same) henry put the plates on his lap and teleported the food without anyone noticing but henry and the smart one getting suspicious of how quickly he ate thats why the bill was so high. after returning home he treated yuki to dinner comprising of the expensive food he teleported from the restaurant to his fridge and had his fill as well. next day the boys didnt show up to class (ofcourse they didnt.. jail doesnt work that way) and ryuga immediately told the teacher about it when he asked why they were not present (leaving the details about his involvement and said that he saw them being taken away) after a week they appeared in class and everyone started avoiding them thinking they were some sort of delinquents when classes ended they ganged up on ryuga to try and tried to teach him a lesson. ryuga replied

    "i was returning the favor by giving you all a day off from school"

    "no one asked for it punk.. come here"

    the stupid one swung his fist and hit ryuga

    and they are started to hit ryuga and when they all moved away

    they realized that they had been hitting henry all along and ryuga was already gone (illusions rock dont that) vowing to pay him back they all returned home as well

    tightening the limiter ryuga went to sleep in the dream the tree appeared

    "why did you take revenge? did you not gain these powers because of them? and do you not know that revenge is meaningless?"

    "it wasnot revenge i just thought about having some fun besides if i wanted revenge i would have done the same to them"

    "true very well i will overlook your actions this once"

    waking up he saw yuki looking over him with a smile on her face.

    reminding her it was sunday ryuga told her to let him sleep (ofcourse he doesnt need to but its relaxing)

    "well i wanted to go shopping so take me"

    "later i want to sleep right now"

    "ok then i will sleep with you if you dont wake up"

    "be my guest"

    "iam serious.. i will sleep with you if you dont wake up"

    "like i said as long as i get to sleep"

    pushing him to a side she layed down next to him. there was a knock at the door and it opened... it was the owner of the apartment who came to ask about how he was doing since he had been missing for so long who saw yuki on the bed next to ryuga and closed the door saying

    "excuse me"

    (layed back besides ryuga registered two people since his parents told him they might send someone to look after him and the second one was registered with out a name)

    a blushing yuki immediately got out of the bed

    "fine if you are not coming i will go by myself"

    "ok ok... no need to get angry ill come"

    after getting dressed they went to the mall and yuki chose a few clothes and tried them on.

    "how do i look"

    "cute.." while scratching his cheeks

    "ok then i will not get this one"

    "hey!! do you really hate me that much?"

    "ofcourse not i was joking"

    after looking for clothes they go out to eat and ryuga pays for the meal and they talk about things

    "you really have changed while you were on the mountains"

    "not really. just the same old me"

    "maybe its just my imagination"

    "probably... anyway is the food yummy?"

    "yes thank you. but i could have payed for it myself you know"

    while returning home ryuga and yuki meet henry and his group henry getting jealous tries to tease ryuga

    "you both already a couple? shes too good for scum like you"

    "scum? i think ryuga is very nice thank you very much"

    "i could have fought back you know" while looking towards yuki and making a long face to express his words (cant put it in words)

    "ditch this guy and come hang out with us yuki this" the stupid one

    "i dont like "hanging out with" perverts"

    "Oii.. that hurt... say your sorries" normal one (who turns out to be quite the delinquent)

    "i dont need to apologize to scum come lets go ryuga"

    having nothing to do or say he replies

    "sure."

    upon reaching the city of the rocks the trio notice a that the city looks like a normal rural town. normal except the fact that there are humanoids made of rock bossing around people made of sand, flesh and wood rare glimpses of plastic people could also be seen obeying the rock people though they were mostly used as exibitions suggesting that plastic people are rare and considered exotic

    "here we are ryuga. make yourself at home, you fleshlings can do that too"

    "so these elemental gods are they divine?" leona

    "maybe i can steal one of their divinity and present it to lord Arneus" she continued

    after entering the castle they see that there are dozens of sandmen and fleshlings (similar to humans with skin and all but different type of ears some with tails others with claws and so on who can mostly perform magic. it is said one of them can bring down a town by himself. the rocks can turn into giant planet destroying meteors so they are stronger and hence rule the fleshlings)who are bowing and are standing in such a way that they are outlining the path to the throne on which Arneus sits

    "prepare a room for our guests"

    *whispers amongst the fleshies*

    "did he say guests? i thought they were new slaves"

    "he treats us like lesser beings so why do they get to be guests.. its not fair"

    the two holding the girl said before putting her down and together with the pervert jumped on ruga from the front who using the head of the first as a stepping stone which jumped a bit higher towards the second one grabbing his arm and thrusting him towards the third then falling back down he landed on the firsts head crushing it, the third one avoiding the second one who instantly crumbled due to the impact with the ground shoved himself into the wall of the adjacent building growing in size

    roughe laughs for a while then adds

    waking up he saw yukari staring at him and could also feel a few unseen stares around him

    ryuga arrived at the door of a giant palace made of pure glass you could see right into the throne room but there were a few rooms which could not be seen through made of opaque glass and in other areas there were translucent glass decorations. the castle itself was built on top of water and the only land mass that could be seen throughout the area was a road leading away from the palace, instead of going towards the horizon it appeared to be going into outerspace. the entrance to the palace had ice sculptures on the pillars surrounding the gate while two diamondlings stood guard they were shining and had a slim figure

    "Arneus the rock king sent me iam a messenger"

    "he sent a fleshling as a messenger to the water princess? that insolent fool"

    "so can i pass or not?"

    "what is the message you need to pass on? it will be insulting to the water princess if a fleshling enters her palace"

    "watch your tongue fool. you are still alive because you serve a king now give us your message and begone"

    ryuga said as he ran past the diamondlings shattering the glass and the very path he ran on. the diamondlings themselves fell down trying to make sense of what happened while ryuga confronted with the water princess who was sitting on the throne

    she was made of water and was completely engulfed in it the only thing that wasnt made of water was the ruby in her tiara her hair was tied into a pony tail and it was long and watery her body could be seen through she had a well rounded body and was as tall as ryuga

    "after that you better not disappoint me because if you do i will destroy the planet you came from with all of its inhabitants with it, i donnot care if i must kill the flame demon for that"

    after saying that she started secreting water from her body very fast it completely engulfed the planet in no time and soon reached the last planet of the 12 planets surrouding the solar systems and sun had already been cooled down and after 20 minutes the water returned as quickly as it came

    "that should have done it. i made sure the pressure was enough him while saving my planet"

    "that control was not easy though it took more out of me than just destroying everything would have" she continued while looking towards the floor she looked ahead to check the damage but to her surprise ryuga was still standing there

    ryuga said as he disappeared and reappeared right infront of the princess floating in mid-air

    since the two races are powerful enough to destroy the planet they are fighting on unintentionally therefore there would be no point in fighting on the planet you are trying to conquer. the king who is being attacked must choose a planet to fight on so that both sides have a chance of gaining something

    the planet of eternal winds is a planet with a very strong whirlwind at its center it contains no land mass and is made completely of rotating air, the air rotates fast enough to give the illusion of a solid ground and this planet cannot be destroyed as there is nothing to destroy unless one stops the whirlwind

    during the battle arneus invited ryuga who reluctantly agreed because he was pressured by roughe, the water princess also attended the battles though she only watched from a distance. several other influencial figures could also be seen in the distance such as the flame demon or the carbon king

    "sorry but the water princess and flame demon dont want me to help" ryuga shouted back

    "i never asked you for such a thing" the flame demon in a normal voice which didnot reach arneus

    "what am i chopped liver? a lower being telling me to shh. hmmph"

    taking out a camera gogle (similar to the oculas rift but slimer and more sci-fi and able to record exact images) ryuga started recording the battle

    "what is that?"

    "a camera. it records whatever it sees so you can rewatch it later"

    "what kind of magic is that?"

    "not magic, science"

    "you know the research of the surroundings and so on"

    after 30 minutes

    "is it me or have a few stoneoids disappeared from the field?" the flame demon

    a little while after that a few meteors headed towards the battle field and passed through the middle of the planet one by one stopping the whirlwind which immediately restarted

    "ryuga did you do that?"

    "who knows"

    "iam sure it stopped arneus would have won if it did."

    "but it didnt, i guess the luck favored the diamond king"

    "well it did save him from wandering space while arneus and his men who were larger in size landed on one planet or the other"

    as Arneus was pushed down to the ground by a diamond soldier who was just about to slay him with a diamond blade with was his transformed hand he was standing ontop of arneuses forehead who as a giant was larger than the diamond soldier but powerless against his might

    shouting in fury, as the soldier was about to kill arneus he was suddenly stopped by a man standing infront of him, it appeared to be another elemental although none appeared to know who he was

    "I Decree this battle to be over, the victor is the diamond king and as the victor he is entitled to the stoneoid city"

    "Stand back elemental, i do not know who you are but do not interfere the battle will only be over once we know Arneus is dead"

    said the diamond king who was riding a diamond horse which was racing towards arneus

    "if you continue then i shall be your enemy" the new elemental

    although he was an elemental, no one knew who he was what was more instead of any obvious element he was completely white. although not seethrough he was as white as the sun (which is actually white but we see it as yellow or orange because of our atmosphere)

    "why are you interfering" "yeah piss off" "take your leave" "go away" were heard by the crowd which was watching the battle from above including the windblade and another elemental being

    "someone get rid of this fool" the flame demon who was also irritated by the new elemental

    a few radioactive being and a dozen iron beings jumped on the white elemental the flame demon also rushed to assist but was held back by the water princess

    "have you seen seen the fleshling who was with me?"

    "no i havent, but you have me my love"

    "why did i bother asking, help me search for him if you can manage that"

    "FINE..*murmer* iam just an extra anyway"

    the white elemental raised his hand and a white light completely filled the space, nothing could be seen and after a second it faded. All the attackers could be seen floating or on the whirlwind floor knocked out

    "anyone else who wishes for the fight to continue"

    "hmmph, fine iam content with the entertainment provided today, now get off my planet" the windblade

    "thank you, diamond king please take your leave. i will handle arneus"

    "fine, have it your way elemental. if you will excuse me i have a city to visit"

    a white light similar to before appeared and when it faded the white elemental was gone. a moment later the water princess found ryuga who appeared to have been napping nearby

    "what were you doing?"

    "sleeping?"

    "i thought you were a bit less lazy, well the battle is over and as promised i did not help"

    "well i guess ill go take care of arneus" ryuga

    "good luck with that" valeri

    "wait a minute, i never said arneus was still alive, are you sure you were still asleep?"

    "maybe, or maybe i wasnt, who knows"

    "well not that it matters now, take care"

    kissing ryuga on the cheeks valeri flew towards the distance and disappeared

    "wai- damn she got away, oh well i guess it doesnt matter in the long run. i guess i will go home now and sleep"

    ryuga said as he teleported towards HQ only to find that valeri was already there sitting comfortably on a chair crosslegged while roughe fearfully watches over from the entrance clearly irritated by her visit but fearing her powers he didno say anything. ryuga teleported to a location near the headquarters there was an unusual crowd in he streets and construction works were underway. ryuga walked the rest of the way to HQ seeing ryuga roughe sighed in relief as his face cheered up

    "ahh ryuga, so nice to see you again. great job convincing the water princess to stay out of the way, i was on my way to meet up with the diamond king to negotiate the terms..... but it appears we have a guest, could you deal with her?"

    "again? well i was meaning to talk to her anyway"

    ryuga entered the room and was immediately seen by valeri who stood up

    "what are you doing here ryuga?"

    "thats probably my line"

    "i came to negotiate with the most probable new owner of this city but no one appeared, i was growing bored"

    "i umm.. kind of helped these guys and kind of live here"

    "so i see, these people were the reason you made me abandon arneus, it all makes sense now"

    "anyway how did you get here so quickly?"

    "dont underestimate water, although i dont understand how you came back so late considering that you can telepo--"

    ryuga immediately rushed off and put his hand on her mouth to stop her from talking

    "shh, its a secret ok?"

    the doors around burst open and humanoids went about their business like nothing happened wood people carrying lumber here and there for construction stoneoids carrying stone or rather absorbing it and spitting it out where ever it was needed fleshlings healing the wounded who got into accidents or levitating items here and there. it appears they were preparing to take over and only stopped because valeri had appeared.

    "can we finally go home?"yuki

    "not yet, we have three things to do first"

    "firstly, we need to wait to see whether those two are willing to join us

    secondly, we need to think of something for yukari

    thirdly, we need to do what we started our journey to do"

    the castle it had no lights but there was no darkness, the fire and lava around provided plent of illumination and near the throne valeri was talking to the flame demon

    "so he declined?" ryuga

    "ryuga..." surprised to see him valeri stuttered "what are you doing here"

    "just wanted to get you before we left but since hes not coming i guess we will be going" ryuga

    "what kind of man are you? leaving your girlfriend behind while you leave with three beauties, as i thought i must kill you right where you stand"

    "shut up, i dont have time to deal with a brat"

    the flame demon threw a pure black lava ball right at ryuga the intense heatwave was distorting the air around it. ryuga grabbed the fireball with his hands and it suddenly turned intoo pure white ice which he threw back at the flame demon. as soon as it hit the flame demon it burst into a completely spherical ball surrounding the flame demon the ice was moving around the sphere and the surroundings had completely frozen, the lava had turned into frozen rock and iron. even the flames froze the air light around faded a little but was still kept valeri started freezing but ryuga touched her hands which made her thaw out

    "we cant have you freezing too"

    "isnt that a bit too harsh"

    "he wont die with that if thats what you mean"

    the spinning ball of ice finally dispersed and left the flame demon completely frozen

    the ice surrounding the flame demon was so white you could hardly see anything inside it

    a few seconds later the ice started to melt and 3 minutes later the ice burst open and an intense flame replace it which came bursting out the flame demon emerged gasping for breath

    "you... are not... an ordinary fleshling... are you"

    "ping pong, someone give him a prize"

    yukari cast a healing spell on the flame demon

    "here is your prize, is this good enough master"

    "you didnot have to seriously give him a prize anyway, are you going to come with us?"

    "no i willnot, my heart will break if i see valeri flirt with you again so i cannot come my pride as a man wont allow it"

    "ok suit yourself valeri i will leave a teleportation gate at your place, if you manage to convince him you can just walk through it to get to where iam"

    ryuga flicked his fingers

    in ryugas apartment a few figures faded in like lights suddenly appearing and forming an image

    "anyway why did we go to that god forsaken universe?"

    ryuga said while scratching his head on half materialized

    silence fell and the other three looked at ryuga with amazement whether it was at the fact that he was so forgetful or because of the fact that he despite being almighty despite going through all that forgot.

    "you really are hopeless."

    "human you were supposed to help me and give your power to Lord Arneus"

    "the rock king? he is your lord? but you both live in different dimensions"

    ryuga looked on with a confused look on his face

    "not that fool, the true divine Lord Arneus.. remember it next time"

    "ohh him, i was supposed to visit him right? can it wait?"

    "NO IT CANNOT!!"

    "well then i have no choice, lets summon him here, i will need to borrow his image though so leona, here kitty kitty"

    "when did you become so playful ryuga?"

    yuki let out a sigh

    a confused figure appeared he was nearly twice as tall as ryuga and appeared to hit the ceiling, luckily or unluckily he was summoned while he was sitting on a seat reading a newspaper with his pants half down, the seat itself looked like a box, a complete white box with a small support to lean on, obviously the toilet wasnt going to look like a human toilet and obviously the females would avert their eyes. although ryuga wasnt surprised Arneus himself was left speechless. maybe it was because of his sudden abduction or maybe because he was revealing his intimate places (please dont show them on camera and illustrations they would make everyone including me uncomfortable)

    i think its time i told you what he looked like. he looked like a shadow. a completely black shadow, but a shadow is transparent and flat, this was what made him different he was blacker he was black as space and like space he had small lights flickering on his body which kept moving rather randomly it was like someone took space and wraped it on a 3D model used in movies displays

    "ok i see whats happening, lets rewind time shall we i need to get ready"

    said Arneus as he flicked his fingers and suddenly everyone found themselves back to their old conversation

    "IAM NOT YOUR PET CAT AND DONT IGNORE ME AFTER TREATING ME LIKE ONE, HUMAN"

    time was rewinded

    "hey whats wrong human why do you look so serious?"

    "maybe i was wrong, anyway time appears to listen to him as well"

    "forget that leona i think i get what he looks like and where he is"

    ryuga summoned Arneus again who was in the process of pulling his shorts up. the shorts which were he only piece of clothing he wore

    "this is slightly better. yes better"

    "you are different from what i imagined but nice to meet you Arneus, i am Ryuga and thanks to your minion, slave, pet or whatever you call her here. i decided to visit you"

    "so why am i here when you were the one who was supposed to visit?"

    "cause i thought it was be funny?"

    "ryuga before we go there tell me will we be using a team?"

    ryuga and Arneus teleported to a completely white realm. white as in the color. there was no light but its was like instead of the color black which envelopes our universe the color white was the color of darkness there. a withered tree alone stood in the vast emptiness but the tree itself was billions of times larger than both Arneus and Ryuga combined. so big that a normal human eye couldnt even see a small fraction of it.

    "great tree, we shall fight for your favor please choose wisely"

    "why art thou bothering my slumber? does thee not know i chose ryuga"

    "yo tree, i think this is a fair way to give a non human a chance"

    "he has nor the knowledge nor the enlightenmend thou attained through years of solitude"

    "years? i only spent a few days"

    "i am talking about the original time line, which thou changed"

    ryuga and Arneus now teleported to a completely empty space completely black with no source of light but using their divine sight they managed to see even in the darkness of space

    "well there is nothing for us to destroy here, lets set the nets up"

    "how much should the distance be?"

    "no matter how much distance we put into it, the gap would be immediately filled with our speed and power so lets see, around 100 miles"

    "miles?"

    "like i said, from here *setting up a goal net* to here *setting up another net"

    "this is my side, you can have the first conjure in return"

    "ok then i choose this planet" said ryuga and he conjured a planet onto his fingers, it was a normal earth sized planet but those two enlarged their bodies right after teleporting so it seemed like a normal football

    "whats its trick?"

    the match started and the winning point was decided to be the 3rd ryuga immediately kicked the ball as soon as the illusionary whistle blew. they set it up so that it could blow for fouls or goals or kickoffs. basically the general refree whistle without a man blowing it

    the ball flew right towards the goal with a speed exceeding light but as soon as the ball got near the goal arneus caught it with his hands ofcourse he could have used his feet to stop it earlier but he chose not to. he saw a figure running towards him although normally he would be fast enough to run through all of the universes including the newly created ones (i will explain in the end) in less than 1/x a second but through arneuses eyes he was running with normal speed. he prepared to throw the ball towards Ryugas goal as soon as he came close so that he wouldnt be able to react as fast and in his mind strategized to run towards the ball after throwing it to ensure a goal but as soon as ryuga got close the ball immediately shrunk to the size of a tennis ball and ryuga seized the chance and shot it in the goal.

    "crafty, and timed shrinking planet which starts its timer after being hit huh, i am up next"

    Arneus said as he conjured a completely black fluffy planet

    the whistle blew and he kicked it towards the right of the goal, knowing ryuga would stop it he got behind ryuga who shot the ball towards arneus''s goal but to his surprised his feet passed through the ball Arneus using this chanced arneus got down to the floor and immediately kicked the ball towards ryugas goal who tried stopping it again but the ball passed right through him into the goal

    "isnt that cheating? i mean the ball phased through whenever i kicked it but was fine after you did wasnt one of the conditions that the balls would treat both sides fairly"

    "the ball was supposed to phase through every other kick or touch, but since the kickoff didnt count as either it didnt phase through you trying to stop it"

    Ryuga conjured a huge ball even compared to them. it had a hole in its middle and a path

    Ryuga kicked the ball in the air and flew straight into its hole. the ball was about 100x their size. ryuga followed him through the other end of the hole. inside a tunnel with a diverging path was laid out ryuga went left and then another diverging path appeared ryuga kept going left and on the third path he saw a brown ball attached to a spike and Arneus running towards it. he immediately faced backwards and kicked the ball and then ran towards the brown ball the giant ball travelled against ryugas direction and towards Arneus''s direction in such a way that ryuga got closer to the brown ball faster while Arneus has to double his speed

    ryuga kicked the brown ball right through the giant one in the direction of Arneus''s goal although the giant ball was moving towards ryugas who immediately got out and kicked the ball in a way it would keep spinning delaying Arneuses escape who had to bust through the walls. although it was not that hard but thinking of doing it required some time and ryuga scored.

    "ok then allow me to have my turn"

    Arneus conjured a blue planet and kicked it towards the goal

    cautious of the trick of the ball ryuga kicked it back and so did arneus the ball got faster and faster with each return and eventually it no longer got faster. that was the limit. the limit of speed in the specified universe the speed was the same as the speed of Arneus and ryuga running. although they could go faster the universe would immediately break if its laws got broken so they did not run faster the last kick was made by Ryuga Arneus stepped back and let the ball enter his goal but to ryugas surprise the ball disappeared before entering the goal and he saw the the ball was actually lying in his goal

    ryuga conjured a black ball and kicked it towards Arneus who wasnot infront of his goal

    suspicious of this fact he let the ball go thinking it was a trick. to his surprise the ball curved and entered his goal. earning ryuga the win

    "its called a curve. the ball curved and its actually quite the normal thing. you got beaten by a normal non divine, unspecial skill. hehe"

    "impossible, thats trickery"

    "i thought that was the whole point of the game"

    "i wont accept it,I WONT ACCEPT IT, I CANNOT LOSE"

    "anyway, i will be going home."

    "you cant stop me, i already figured out your divinity is a lie to get me to agree to a match, i even gave you a handicap and chose a universe with ability caps"

    "yup, did you think i wouldnt know about your species and besides if you really were divine you wouldnt have been stupid enough to try and have someone kill me."

    said Arneus as he summoned a giant blackhole about 10billion x the size of our sun and threw it towards ryuga

    said ryuga as he flew right through the blackhole which dispersed as soon as he left it

    "Please, please let me go. ill do anything. give you anything, let me keep my powers"

    "sorry but i have decided"

    as soon as he finished the sentence the words echoed around them and Arneus suddenly became unable to fly, conjure or even talk (space. no medium for sound to propogate)

    "almost forgot, here you go. Iam sending you to your home planet"

    (what? but they will tear me to shreds. i betrayed them for power but now iam powerless and they will kill me)

    ryuga teleported arneus to a completely black planet where beings that looked like arneus lived. Surprised to see Arneus his kind grinned while moving towards Arneus who with a face full of fear kept backing up even after he fell until finally his back faced a wall and he was torn limb from limbs

    ryuga teleported home

    "Welcome back master"

    "iam home"

    "What happened to lord Arneus, did he lose? human did you kill him?"

    ryuga told them exactly what happened

    "No..No. NOOOO. NOOO. your lying, Lord Arneus was the true god you fiend i will never forgive you" said leona while shouting

    "its ok if you dont but Leona blind faith in anyone will only hurt you, i know all too well" (remembering his trip to the forest)

    "Iam leaving, iam going home and, and ,and iam going to come back with an army to make you pay" (while crying)

    "that wont help you know" ryuga said with his "not this again face"

    "Then what am i supposed to do? what am i supposed to believe in now huh? Lord Arneus turned out to be a lie and my entire race depended on him to lead them who will do it now?"

    "you still have yourself, since you probably cant betray yourself you should believe in yourself, and i could create a leader to lead you but that would only cause you more suffering work with your people and do what most of the universe does and create your own leaders not just power crazed corrupt priests"

    "anyway iam not your dad so do whatever you think you must"

    leona started crying and yuki hugged her, ryuga just looked away the day passed by

    in the end leona ended up going back home to deliver the news. one month later she came back with a small white ball in her hands

    "leona what are you doing here didnt you leave for your home" yuki

    "they told me to keep an eye on ryuga and decide if he should lead us, i think he shouldnt but iam to record everything and bring it to them in a year" (hence the white ball which is probably a camera like thing)

    ""Ryuga" didnt you used to call him "human scum" or other names?"

    "yeah yeah, but i think he isnt so bad anymore but you know he was nice to me and helped me and when i was depressed he even consoled me so hes not so bad"

    "like i said i teleported him back to his home planet, since he was a wanted criminal there as he stole their most powerful artifact in order to become more powerful ,they probably killed him or worse"

    "to live for an eternity being tortured and all alone, well that artifact also made him immortal enough to live longer and i didnt take that away as punishment"

    "but he was so nice to us when he ruled us"

    "and you said a newly created you went to a new universe did you create it?" yuki

    "why would i do that? you see humans still have a bit of divinity and every choice and every thought of theirs creates a new universe according to it. for example if you had a choice between yes or no a completely identical universe would be created in which you chose the other option whether you chose yes or no and if you thought up lets say some sort of story in your head it would automatically turn into reality in a different dimension, honestly i am now fully sure how it works myself"

    "ohh so basically if i fantasized about you loving me or me being all powerful, would that happen?"

    "yes and yes, althought all powerful only in that universe. that you would still have to eat dirt if i went there to fight you"

    "what happened to the people from my orphanage"

    "they have probably been taken in by the water princess since i made a request, although iam sure roughe is disappointed he isnt the ruler of the city even though he worked hard on it, now hes forced into being a rebel fighting a greater threat"

    "shut up your being too loud, i noticed roughe just wanted to rule so i didnt tell him but, no king ever gave away conquered land to anyone, kings are supposed to be greedy for their people but unfortunately its only living nature to be greedier for oneself than others"

    suddenly someone teleported into the room, it was a human with long dark black hair tied in a pony tail, white skin above average boobs and a busty figure followed by a male with yellow/gold hair split from the middle facing different sides the left hair was combed to face left and the right side faced right he wore a bow tie and a tuxedo

    "so you finally managed to convince him val"

    "you have no idea how hard that was"

    "ok fine you can sleep in the dog house infront of the apartment?"

    "no thanks iam fine with your room" flame demon realizing his situation wont get any better

    and they all lived happily(ish) ever after -dont expect a happy ending in the second volume. seriously i need to kill someone off soon or my pride as a gore maniac would suffer-
