《The Outsider》 Ch.1: Romav Ch.1: Romav On a rainy day, where there is no place to escape from this falling bullets but the fortified houses. A young boy walks in the street corners, dressed in torn clothes with a damp cover.. ( Is there no shelter from this heavy rain?) ( Where will I live from now on? ) Suddenly, without warning, a man running in the rain and covering his head with his coat, takes the young boy''s hand.. " W- .. Who are you? !! what do you want !!" The boy asked with tension and fear.. "Come, my son, you seem to be lost, shelter at my place until the rain is over " The man answered him.. But he refuses to obey and tries to escape but the man carries him and is running with him , and the boy is still trying to escape.. ( Huh? Who is this man ? Why does he hold my hand and take me? Does he pity me? Or wants to kill me? What does he think?!! ) " Leave me, get away from me, I do not need anybody''s help." The boy screams, trying to get away from him.. The man and the boy arrive at his house and enter it.. " Andrew, where were you? You were late and we get surprised by the rain so we were worried about you. " His wife talks worriedly and she looks at him closely find him carrying a young boy.. " Who is this boy, Andrew?!" She asks him surprisingly.. " Yes, this boy, I found him homeless in the rain and I could not leave him, he will stay with us until we know where is his family." ( What ? Is this just what you want? To house me?!! Is there still someone like this? Are not they afraid that I would rob them ?!! ) " Come on, son, go with my wife to give you some clothes to sit in. Your clothes are not fit to wear them." " Give me your hand, son, to take you to the room to change your clothes." With kindness looks on her face, the boy goes with her without hesitation or fear.. ( Who are these nice people? I never expected to find someone who would care for me after I had lost my family.) Minutes later, the boy comes down with Andrew¡¯s wife, Carmen, wearing other clothes.. " Mother .. Father .. It''s dinner time." Their daughter calls them after she has finished preparing the dinner table.. Andrew and his wife sit and he talks to the boy.. " Sit down son, beside my daughter, to eat with us." With no expression except exhaustion, he obeys Andrew¡¯s order and sits next to his daughter who is wondering at the boy''s presence.. " Father, who is this boy? Where did he come from?" " We do not know yet, my daughter, but he seems to be lost for along time, we will eat and then we will ask him about everything." ( Oh .. My family.. Yes .. They were so kind ..The same beautiful spirit prevailed .. but .. ) They eat and the girl looks at him and she is curious about him.. After dinner, everyone sits in the living room and starts asking the boy what they are thinking of.. "Tell me, son, where did you come from and where is your family?" Andrew asks him, waiting for an answer from the boy.. "Well, I do not know anything except that I am from this kingdom .. And about where is my family? .. "What do you mean by they are so far away ... Could they have ... died?!! " Carmen wonders, astonished.. "I do not even want to think about it .. Haha, it seems to be so shocked to me not to cry over them until this time." The boy says desperately and sadly.. "Listen, son .. I do not want to put pressure on you but to tell what is painful is good .. Talking about it may end this inner torment and bring out tears that have not come out .. Trust me and tell me my dear ." He says with a nice smiling face and a quiet smile giving a feeling of fatherhood.. ( He reminds me of my father .. When I grieve, he comes to me and tells me these words, smiling like that tender smile .. I think I will remove all the barriers and unleash my tongue to express what is inside me.) The boy speaks to himself declaring trusting them.. "Hmmm .. Well, yes they died .. They died unfairly .. Just because we passed by the army road and it was coming back .. They only found their leader telling them to kill us and those who opposed would be militarily tried and executed .. They only found that they would obey him, but who would have killed me, took a risk and decided to do optical magic to deceive his commander to appear before him as if he killed me .. Then he smuggled me from that place and kept apologizing to me and saying that they also had family and they had to obey the orders .. I was not listening to him, all my mind was to remember the scene of my family begging him not to kill them or to forgive us the young but I found only my family getting killed before me without mercy .. How unfortunate this is .. I could not even cry from the shock . " Everyone is shocked by his story, they are so affected that the girl and her mother have cried that a young boy like this is going through this painful event .. "Well, and how did you come to this city by yourself ? " Andrew asks the boy.. " The soldier asked me about our destination and I pointed to him in the direction and he told me that there is a town in this way .. He made me walk in the forest so that their leader would not see me until I reached here .. Well, it was tired and it was good that he gave me enough food and water to get here . " This boy is talking with eyes that have no life .. "Well, you will live with us from now on, son, and you will be a member of the family." Andrew decides this after hearing what happened to this boy.. "Well, boy, my name is Emily, I was honoured to know you." Emily speaks suddenly.. "What is your name, son, and what do you aspire to after this?" Andrew asks the boy.. Suddenly the boy''s eye shines and the tears fall without warning and he begins to cry .. "What is there, my son? What is wrong with you? If the question is difficult for you, there is no problem to not answer it." Carmen talks worriedly.. "No No, no problem .. Only these are the tears that should have fallen when I watched my family being killed in front of me." The boy speaks as he tries to hold himself and stop crying.. " My name is Romav and I was aiming to apply for the Magic School to be in the army, but now my goal is bigger after what had happened to my family and after meeting you .. I want to be in higher positions until I change this world for the best whatever the means. " Romav says with an angry face, ignorant of what he will face in the future to make his dreams come true .. To be continued.. Ch.2: The Beginning of the Road Ch.2: The Beginning of the Road "Romav Come help me in my work today." Andrew says smiling and energetic.. "OK, I''m coming." Romav responds to him, trying to speed up wearing his clothes.. They go together and Carmen and Emily wave them off at the door.. "What is your job, uncle?" He says with curiosity and the signs of innocence on his face.. "Haha, you seem to have get your innocent looks back Romav .. Well it''s a job you''ll like a lot." Andrew says with a smile filled with confidence and enthusiasm amid questions from Romav about the kind of his work that he will like.. "Well, we''ve come to our workplace , Romav." He talks to Romav as he looks to his workplace with his hands on his waist.. Romav looks and finds no expression except the broad smile with exaggerated surprise.. " WOW! You work at the magic school !!!!! " He says with all happiness and passion.. "Well, I''ve been a guard for this school for a long time even though they have strong people but they put me as a precautionary measure for any circumstances." Andrew says proudly.. The two enter amid the astonishment and joy of Romav as it''s his first time to enter such schools and he is also passionate about studying magic to achieve his dreams.. "Hoi, Andrew, What do you do? Let''s wear work clothes to get started, and who is this boy? I did not know that you have a son." A man comes from afar calling Andrew .. "Oh Jack, he is not my son but I consider him as, I found him yesterday with no shelter so I decided to raise him." Andrew answers.. Jack looks closely at the boy.. "Why do I feel that I''ve seen you before?" He says as he looks closely at the boy.. Romav stands nervous in front of him when he hears his words.. "Ah, no matter, we don''t have time for this. Come on let''s wear our clothes Andrew." He says as he moves away.. "Romav, go off at the school but don''t make trouble and when the day is over, come here to go home , all right .. " He says with a smile on his face, trying to show him kindness.. " Okay.." Romav responds with a delightful face.. Romav goes off at school looking for anything to help him with learning magic.. "Oh, who is this little boy? He seems handsome, is he a son of a large family?" "I do not know, but his clothes are not classy to be one of those families." "But his face does not show that he is from a poor family, this is strange." The students whisper among themselves as they see Romav running here and there.. (Well, it looks like I finally found the library that will help me learn.. let''s get in then.) Romav enters and finds many great books, a library filled with books from each side. He walks and watches the books until he finds a book that reads: "Learn the basics of magic and some of the skills that may help you in the beginning". He goes to sit on a chair and starts reading and applying what he reads at the same time.. "Hmmm .. So that''s how it works .. This is great .. It''s a wide knowledge, I feel more excited now." It didn''t take him long to finish reading the book.. "Finally, Woohoo, understanding the pictures without reading the details is so wonderful, I finished the book and took what I wanted in record time." He said with a smile and a joy with his accomplishment.. "Well, the day almost ends, I have to go back to uncle now." He stands and puts the book in its place and leaves the library.. As he walks, he accidentally bumps into a student behind him.. "Oh sorry, I really did not see you." Romav apologizes.. "What do you mean by you did not see me? How did you get the nerve to say this to me, you little one?" He says as he looks down on Romav.. "Well .. I mean what I say, I did not really see you." He says with annoyed looks, amid everyone watching this.. " Victor, that''s enough, he''s a little boy." A girl comes saying this.. "Just wait , Scarlett, I''ll try something that closes this annoying mouth." He says with a smile full of trust and evil. "Let your face taste a fire that makes it learn not to look at me like this." He says shooting a fireball towards Romav.. "Stop, you idiot, you will hurt him . Move away, boy." Scarlett screams attempt to alert Romav.. Romav stands in front of the fireball, waving his hand, causing strong winds to extinguish it and blow towards Victor .. Victor puts his arms in front of his face trying to stand firm in front of it .. Suddenly he finds someone pulling him down.. "Listen, you mean arrogant .. Do not be fooled only by what in front of you, this small person may be hiding things you can not deal with." He said with an annoyed face.. " What is this that I saw now? This little boy has repelled Victor¡¯s attack and unleashed such a strong wind." Scarlett says this with curiosity and astonishment as Romav leaves Victor .. "When did you learn magic, little boy?" Scarlett says waiting for his answer .. "Ah .. Yes .. I have learned it now." Amid a severe shock from everyone after hearing his speech .. Romav smiles innocently .. "I entered the library and finished a book and applied the skills in it . This is what happened." "Why this fuss? Did not the study time end?" A lady comes to the place.. "Ms. Sofia , Do not let any one enter here, this caused the entry of a worthless scum and he learns what a scum like him shouldn''t be learned." Victor says arrogantly, turns back and prepares to leave.. But Romav says his name suddenly and he turns to see what he wants.. "Listen to me you filth that vanity takes. One day you will kneel before me asking me to keep your life." He says with an angry face and a smile of challenge, pride and confidence .. Causing fear to Victor .. And Ms. Sofia notices Romav''s face and gets shocked strongly.. ( W- What- What is this ?!! These expressions .. This face that I see in front of me !! This is impossible !!!) She speaks to herself with great shock.. Romav decides to go but Mrs. Sofia stops him.. "Tell me .. Are you the son of Simav? !!!" Ms. Sofia asks him.. To be continued ... Ch.3: Simav Ch.3: Simav Romav stays silent a little and then smiles.. "Yes, I am the son of Simav who was killed." Suddenly, Ms. Sofia sits on her knees, embracing him and crying.. "I''m sorry. If I were with you, that would not have happened. I''m really sorry." (Huh?! What is this ? Why is she crying ? Does she know my father ?! And why does she apologize ??! What is happening here ?! ) Romav wonders within himself while everyone is surprised by what is happening.. "Do not cry, madam.. I do not know what is there but do not worry, I am now stronger." He speaks with a quiet and sober voice.. Ms. Sofia stops crying and stands holding Romav''s hand.. "Come with me, Mr. Romav, I want you in my office." She talks to Romav with a smile filled with a kindness.. Everyone is shocked by Ms. Sofia saying Mr. to this little boy.. "Well, Miss, I''ll come with you, but I want someone to tell Uncle Andrew that I''m with you so that he doesn''t worry about me." Romav speaks with an innocent face.. "All right sir .. Scarlett, go to Andrew and tell him this." Scarlett gets shocked and stands ready and steady.. "Y- Yes Ms. Sofia, I will tell him immediately." Scarlett then runs to see Andrew .. Sofia and Romav go to her office.. And the looks of anger and hatred on Victor''s face towards Romav as he remembering Romav¡¯s words to him just a few moments ago.. ( Are you kidding me ?! Someone like you, child dare and tell me this talk .. I will destroy you someday .. I promise you this scum.) Everyone is surprised by the name that was mentioned .. "Simav ?? Is not that the name the enemies feared ?? But he retired a while ago and it was said that he and his family died, so how would that be his son ?" "Well, if we think a bit, he may have survived. As we have said, his look is not from the public despite his clothes." Sofia and Romav arrive at her office.. "Sir, please, sit down in my place." Sofia bends as she talks.. "Do not be so formal, even though I do not understand anything but I do not like these things. Just treat me as a little boy." He talks to her with a look of annoyance.. Sofia stands up and looks at him with a look of happiness.. "I''m sorry. You like your father does not like these formalities." She speaks to him admiringly.. ( She speaks of my father as if she knows him a lot. ) Romav talks to himself .. Sofia sits on her desk with Romav in front of her .. "Then, Romav you has really grown up." He asks her several questions in order to get clear answers to his questions.. " Well, son, your father is considered the strongest magician appeared on the continent and you can say in the whole world . He was working according to his thought and did not care about the talk of corrupt leaders. He would have saved people even if his leader had said that he should not do so, and he was punished a lot because of this. And I was one of those who he had saved and I respect him greatly and glorify him from that day. And the reason for my exclusion is that I was a trump card for him against them, I was strong and I could protect him from them in his time of weakness. He became weak when they betrayed him and gave him an injection that destroyed the magic bonds inside him. He could not fight after that and retired. This was because he appeared and became famous quickly although they did not want this and hated it and he was from a big family that you bear its name. They found nothing but this, and when you left the city and you went away, it was because he knew that your house would be destroyed and they would say that it''s the enemy who did this. I''m the one who told him this and asked him to come and be with him but he strongly refused not to hurt me and decided to leave. But unfortunately the army was coming back and the commander saw him and you know what happened, that''s why I apologized to you because I did not exist and saved them .. I am really sorry." She closes her eyes and sadness appears on her face, but Romav does not show any expressions.. "Why do you apologize? My father is the one who refused your coming so it is not your fault.. And you told me about my father and made me proud of him more than before. I was educated at home these things to become like him. Do not worry, I''ve overcome my grief. It has become a motivation for me and not an obstacle .. Now I am more determined on my goal." ( My father you have always been great to me and now you are greater than before.) " Listen Ms. Sofia . I will avenge my family.. Their blood will not dry on the ground until I avenge them and make this world a better world without the corrupted leaders. " He says with his eyes burning with enthusiasm and confidence and Sofia cries with happiness.. (Sir Simav, Your son is taking strong steps on your way.. May you be happy, sir.) To be continued ...
