《Story of a Turtle (W.I.P)》


 Prologue

    "So am i really gonna die here...? This shit ain''t fair... what the fuck did do to deserve this!?"


    A lifeless corpse in the middle of an intersection, our protagonist Michael Jacobs can be seen, bleeding out as the car that hit him quickly left the scene.


    Many pedestrians see this unfold but many are reluctant to help. They all cower and scream as the sight before them is a mangled mess, twitching like a broken record.


    "The fuck are you people looking at... why hasn''t anyone called for help..."


    Help nears, as the sound of an ambulance comes closer and closer.


    "Wait? Huh? How did they get hear so fast...? I thought it would be 5 more minutes at least."


    What Michael didn''t know was that the car did more than just destroy his body it also gave him some brain damage, he was suffering from dyschronometria. What seemed to be 5 minutes for him, was 15.


    Michael, miraculously, is somehow conscious and hears the short conversation the ambulance workers exchange.


    "He is still conscious."


    "Great, we need to get to the hospital ASAP."


    Michael, now relieved, is taken to a nearby hospital and was kept conscious and monitored the whole time. He''s brought into the emergency room for immediate opperation.


    "What the hell happened to him!?"


    "He was hit by a car at full speed and got crushed by its tires."


    "A fractured spine, mangled limbs, probable rib damage, broken jaw, damaged eyes, difficulty breathing and probable brain damage. He has also lost quite a lot of blood, about a third of total blood lost."


    "Begin operation on his limbs, amputate them, then check his thoracic cavity for any abnormalities."


    "Yes doctor."


    "This shits fucked... I''m dead, even if I live, nothing would be the same... it''s better for me to die."


    Michael had very little faith in his survival and was ok with dying. Because if he lived, he wouldn''t last for too long. He would even go as far as to take his own life.


    "I don''t even get to see my mom again... this ain''t right, this has to be a joke, a dream, yeah a dream, that''s the only thing it could be."


    As he was put to sleep and applied anesthesia. He felt guilty for leaving his mom like this and that he should have called her more.


    "I''d do anything to see her one more time... just once more."


    After all the operations were successful, he was given a hospital bed to stay in. All he could think of was why this happened to him and that it''s just not cool.


    He somehow survived but that didn''t matter to him, he was already dead no matter how you look at it. Just a waste of life.This novel''s true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.


    Michael was a mess, couldn''t speak, fucked spine, shit breathing and worst of all couldn''t do anything even if he wanted to. He was being fed oxygen by the oxygen vacuum and was likely to make a recovery.


    A month goes by and he is still in the hospital, and his jaw is slightly attached and he''s able to speak but was very limited.


    A nurse comes in and asks Michael if he has any family they can contact.


    "Mom."


    "Please tell me her number so that we can contact her."


    "XXX-XXXX"


    "Ok, thank you and later we will give you a check up after you eat lunch at 1 pm."


    He was still pretty bummed out, not being able to speak with his mom.


    Michael didn''t have much freedom since he was still a young man, and was attending college before he got hit. His school life was simple, he would get good grades a just listened during class, only speaking when he was asked a question.


    He didn''t have much friends since he didn''t speak much and was socially awkward, he was best known as the teachers pet since the teacher favored him than everyone else.


    Teacher after teacher praised Michael as the ideal student and used him as an example by the teacher to tell the other students to be more like him.


    Michael wasn''t bullied apparently and was avoided because he had a cold attitude towards others of the same age as him and didn''t hold back what he wanted to say to them.


    He didn''t like to go out much, he would rather play video games with his online friends and was pretty loud and carefree when he spoke over the mic.


    His dad past away when he was young and only knew his mom as family. But with his passing meant that his money was left with Michael''s mom.


    Michael was put through college using that money and studied abroad in America. He came from The Bahamas to study Biology and wanted to become a Cardiothoracic Surgeon.


    After a year in the hospital he is escorted out by a volunteer, who was a pretty young woman with blonde hair and was completing her college community service.


    Michael was attracted to her but knew he had no chance, to be fair he was fairly attractive himself but... he had no limbs and in a wheelchair, so no one would really stick around.


    He was pretty glad that he''s still alive and made it out, he thought about what would be different if he were to die. His mom also moved in with him to help take care of him.


    Michael had dreams that were shattered along with his body but still had hope that something might turn his way.


    As they approach Michael''s apartment, they cross an intersection, and very familiar car didn''t seem to slow downbut, o no the volunteer has AirPods in. She can''t hear Michael saying to hurry up.


    "Hey! Hey! Hurry the fuck up!"


    The car hitboth Michael, and his chaperone.


    "And stay down this time bitch!!"


    Michael passes out and wakes up only seeing black.


    "And now I''m blind too. That''s just great isn''t it."


    "Hey your not blind, the only thing there is black, that''s why."


    A bright light grew brighter in front of him.


    "And you are?"


    "I''m God."


    "...(-_-)"


    "I am tho."


    "Cool, God where do I go now."


    "Um... you''ve been brought to this space to meet me because, I have a proposal."


    "...?"


    "You have the option to either be taken to another world or aimlessly wonder your Earth."


    "(-_-)"


    "Hey c''mon, what''s the problem?"


    "Are you really God?"


    "Of course I am!"


    "Fine, whatever, take me to another world..."


    "Do you want to know what happened to you after you died?"


    "Yeah, sure."


    "Well I don''t know myself."


    "So... what now, do I just go or..."


    "Yeah, you can pick a skill to take with you."


    "Fine, I want immortality."


    "I can''t give you full immortality just, regeneration."


    "Sure. Is that it?"


    "You''re being pretty rude y''know, I''m God!"


    "Sorry I guess?"


    "Shut up, lemme see here, o, you''re gonna be a turtle, a small little turtle."


    "Wait why?"


    "It''s kinda interesting."


    "NO! I don''t want to be a turtle!"


    "And why not?"


    "Cuz turtle are...y''know, slow..."


    "Fine name another skill you want then."


    "Ooo, there''s this skill, like I can take whatever I kill stats and skill."


    "Yeah sure. So you want to make it like a game?"


    "Yeah that too."


    Alright, in a years time I''ll summon you to compete in a tournament for the Gods."


    "Huh?"


    "Yeah, that''s the whole reason I''m talking to you right now."


    "Gods?"


    "Yeah, Gods."


    "Fine, I''m just waitin on the meds to wear off and wake up."


    "Sure... you can ask me questions by saying God and asking me the question."

    The bright light Michael was looking at grew brighter as he was being taken to this fantasy realm.

 Chapter 1

    Michael opened his eyes and looked around.


    "These pills are pretty strong huh, thats crazy. Why am I so low, am I really a turtle?"


    "Hey."


    "Yeah?"


    "Can you move?"


    Michael took his first step after being crippled for over a year.


    "Wow! I can actually move! But... I''m a turtle."


    "Yeah... I''m God."


    "Cool, God you''re so great... (-_-)"


    "I know, I''m God."


    "So, what now? God."


    "Say, Profile to look at your stats."


    "Yeah..."


    "You gonna say it?"


    "Nyaaaaaaa!!"


    "Dumbass! You can''t speak as a turtle. Lol"


    "Then what do I do!?"

    Michael was slowly strolling around like the turtle he was. Withit being daytime he looked at the sights around him, taking in that he is actually in another world.


    He saw a dead bird ahead with an arrow through it lying in the grass. It probably died from a stray shot. There were people around, but they ignored Michael and he ignored them and just focused on the bird.


    "God, what should I do."


    "Eat the bird."


    "... but what if I don''t wa-"


    "Whole."


    "No."


    "Just eat it, it''s gonna be worth it I swear."


    "No, I don''t wanna."


    "If you don''t... let''s say that another car will come your way."


    Michael was reluctant but slowly headed towards the dead corpse wondering how he should do it.


    "Say, info, then skill eat."


    "...Info, skill eat."

    The bird was eaten, only leaving some feather, bones with scrapes of meat leftover and blood just everywhere. Michael waits for about 5 minutes and nothing happened.


    "God, what''s happening?"


    "Don''t worry bout it."


    "But I just ate a raw bird."


    "And?"


    "I''m a turtle! I''m supposed to eat grass or sum shit!"


    "Just wait a minute."


    Finally, something happens, Michael sprouts wings on his shell. The wings were similar to that of a white dove, well, he did eat that same type of bird.


    ¡°Can I fly with these?"


    God didn''t respond


    "Hello? God?"


    "Yeah I''m God."


    "Can I fly with these."


    "........."


    "Hello?"


    "Yeah... you can."


    Michael tried out his new wings and struggled at first but got a hang of it and soared through the skies. He was exilerated and chose to stay in the airfor a while just to see the sights from above.


    As he was exploring the sky, a red figure appeared, blocking him. It waited for him to make a move but he froze in place and tried to get to the ground but the fire elemental flew at him with its roaring flames, He was terrified and couldn''t do anything.


    The elemental got a hold of Michael and held him by the neck, it spoke in a distorted version of english.


    "What are you?"


    "What the fuck are you!!?"


    "Hmmmm."


    "Please just let me go."


    Michael struggled but to no avail and only made its grip tighten. His neck was burning from its grip and he began to lose consciousness.


    "Huh? Did it die? Worthless."


    Michael was thrown aside like the piece of trash he was. He landed on his shell and it was cracked but it healed near instantly, along with his burned neck.


    He woke up on his back and flipped himself over with his wings. Now traumatized, he tried his best to stay clear of the skies or any open areas.


    Michael made his way through the forest hovering with his wings, still suffering from the trauma of being assaulted by an elemental. He went on his journey in search of something to eat or something of the sort.


    He found a small Fire Sprite sleeping on the ground.It had small embers emanating from it and seemed exhausted.


    "O look it''s fireboy, where''s watergirl? Wait..."


    Michael thought about what that other elemental did to him. He wanted revenge for what it did to him and chose to do so by eating this fire sprite. A sprite is just a baby elemental.


    Michael crept up on it slowly and bit down on its neck, it struggled slightly but because of the bite force of a turtle, it ended quickly with a loud crunch.

    "Woah... I went up by a single level. That''s craaaazzzzyy."


    Michael didn''t do anything for a while, he just spun in circles for a while, and stumbled across a flower patch and ate some flower. He also took a short nap on a tree branch.


    Michael woke up 30 minutes later and was greeted by a message.

    ¡°Seems pretty cool, so how to do this, maybe I use my mind?"


    And so he did, Michael wasn¡¯t really shocked when all he could have conjured up was just a small ember.


    "As expected from a fucking turtle, at least I can do something now."


    Michael played around with the ember and learnt how to control it after a while. He attempted to conjure a second ember but felt an unbearably sharp pain in his chest (plastron) but the second ember still appeared.


    "What the fuck, it lasted a second but that shit hurt."


    "It''s cuz you used too much mana."


    "Really? I thought I just wouldn''t be able to use it anymore."


    "Nah, in this world, in exchange to cast the magic, you have to go through something like a mini heart attack."


    "Can people die from these mini heart attacks."


    "Yeah but it''s not like an actual heart attack, it''s more like a stab to the chest."


    "Can I die from it?"


    "No, you can''t, cuz, like I said it''s more like a stab, you''ll recover."


    "Can I just keep casting magic?"


    "Yeah, you just have to deal with the pain and the worst thing that can happen to you is that you pass out."


    "Cool. Thanks God."


    "Yeah"


    Michael knew that he couldn''t kill anything on his own just yet, so hedecided to grind for levels, it¡¯s what everyone should do at least once in their time playing video games all their life.


    He had a life in video games and the first one he played was Pok¨¦mon, he didn''t care about that bullshit Ash called friendship. All he saw were stats and move sets.


    Whenever he''d play a mmo or rpg based game, he''d always become too strong for his level, countless nights with no sleep just grinding.


    And so Michael set off on his non stop grinding journey in the same forest he''s been in the whole time.All he would do is burn birds till they were ash, eat their babies and level up all three of his skills at the same time.


    He didnt really need to eat since he can make his own food, he just did it for the stats.Michael would do this until he thought that it was enough.

    "I don''t think birds will cut it anymore. My stats still look like shit, but I don''t really know what I should be comparing it to."


    Michael looked up at the sun and saw that it was noon and wondered if this is all that he''s supposed to do. He just kept thinking about what was next. So he set himself a goal of his own, to find people.

 Chapter 2

    Michael set off with the intent of getting stronger for his own sake, and so that elementals can''t bully him anymore. Maybe find some people too, so that he can make sure that they''re at least around.


    "Do people have good stats?"


    He continued tormenting birds and only got levels from them, niether did he get any stats other than Agi but even that was minimal.


    A loud screech can be heard from Michael as he used a skill he overlooked,Screech. He used it to incapacitate the birds, then eat or kill them.


    Michael didn''t feel like eating birds anymore since it made no difference than just killing them, he also conserved mana by killing the birds through biting them while they flew away from him.


    He couldn''t even find any other animals around, but there were just so many birds. He wondered how big this forest was too. He''s been heading the same direction for a while and still hasn''t seen the rest of the world.


    He knew he could just fly up and see but was worried that another elemental might assault him again.As he wandered around, he encountered a pretty big boar. It saw Michael and charged him, but he just flew over it.


    Michael was super bored so he just played with it for a while. He conjured a ball of fire the size of a human fist. He taunted the boar with it and as the mindless beast it was, it charged at the ball of fire.


    "I''m feel like God messing with this dumbass!"


    "You what now?"


    "No I didn''t m-"


    Michael''s wings were taken from him and he hit the ground, the boar looked at him and ate him whole.


    "God I''m sorry, please give me my wings back." He pleaded in the boar''sstomach.


    "No, a God should be able to get out of a pig, shouldn''tthey?"


    "But, I-"


    "No buts, just get out of the pig first."


    Michael''s flame dispersed when he hit the ground, so he had no mana that he could use. He conjured many flames and fused them together and burned the boar inside out.


    Michael hated the pain he went through when casting magic without mana, to him it was like stubbing your pinky toe, but 10 times worse.


    Michael burned a whole right though the boar and he fell through it. The boar fell on its side and died immediately died after.

    Michael passed out from mana exhaustion next to the boar and wakes up an hour later.


    "You didn''t eat it."


    "I''ll eat it now, but gimme my wings back."


    "Fine... did you know I''m God."


    "Yeah..."

    The sun began to set but Michael wanted to keep gaining levels and thought about staying up all night to do so. It wasn''t the first time he did that, so he had no problems with it.


    Night came and the moonlight was bright enough for Michael to see where he was going in the forest. He made his way through but couldn''t find anything, like literally nothing.


    This went on for hours and he looked up at the moon and realized that it was already midnight. Michael gave up and called it a night, he flew up to a tree branch that was home to a birds nest.


    He didn''t feel like killing anymore birds so he let the mother fly away and pushed the babies off the nest. Luckily for the babies, they learned to fly before they hit the ground.


    They flew with their mother and went into the night, Michael got comfortable in their nest and even learnt how to go into his shell.     Michael came out of his shell as the sun rose, he didn''t feel like starting his day hey,so he stayed in the nest for a while more.While in his nest, he heard a loud roar that startled him.


    He flew from his nest to go investigate the noise, as he got closer the roars got louder and but suddenly,they just stopped. Michael saw a green figure standing infront of a purple spotted bear that was double its size.


    Michael hid in the trees and watched, he was hesitant to attack it but this elemental seemed different than the one that attacked him. This one was half it''s size and green.


    He tested it to see if it was weak to the only useful skill he had. He conjured a fire ball and burnt the elemental''s leg with it. It shrieked and sprouted vines that it used to guard itself, the vines were being used like tails.


    His assumption was correct that he had the element advantage. He had a plan to kill it by biting its head off but he wasn''t sure if it would work since it was so basic. Still, he tried it.


    The plan didn''t work, even with Crunchit wasn''t strong enough to get through it. Michael released his bite and caught himself with his wings.The elemntal began attacking him with it''s vines, aiming for his wings.


    Michael did his best to avoid theattacks but one of his wings got pierced and he was barely able to stay in the air but it managed to regenerate.


    He was out of mana because of his little test earlier.He had no other option but to conjure more flames, he bared the stinging pain and used it to burn through the elemental''s chest.


    Michael thought he had won but it only slowed it down, he had to decapitate its head to put it down completely. The bear it had supposedly killed wasn''t really dead because of its groans.


    The bear opened it eyes but got greeted by a fireball from Michael and it finally died.

    The elemental began a barrage of attacks that Michael was barely able to avoid.


    "Yes! Yes it is!"

    The elemental''s assault tore Michael''s wings apart, he used Blue Flames buthe didn''t have enough mana for it. The pain was even sharper and stung more.


    The flames burned a bright blue and it spread all over the elemental''s body pretty quickly. The elemental collapsed to the ground and Michael put away his flames, then went to eat it.


    "So, I''m guessing that the more mana it costs, the more it hurts."


    Michael was really exhausted and panted profusely. He ate it by trying to bite its head off, and still struggled to do so. Eventually he got through it and it was finally killed.

    "Finally... I''m so fucking tired, but I gotta eat this..."


    He ate it and immediately went for the purple spotted bear and ate it too. It tasted really bitter, probably because it was poisonous.


    After Michael ate the bear, he was still tired and found another unoccupied birds nest to sleep in. He woke up an hour later.

    Michael continued to wander around and found a cave enterence. He made his way in and expected to find strong monsters to fight and level up.


    But he found eyeballs with bat wings flying around. He used Vine Whips to protrude a vine from his tail and used it to kill one of those eyeball bats.

    Michael used his new skill to see in the dark cave and traveled deeper. Michael encountered a pack of 6 horned wolves that charged him and one of which stabbed right through Michael and tossed him to a wall of the cave.


    "Fuck! I think my heart stopped just now! But I''m used to it more or less."


    He used all 4 of his vines and attacked the wolves, he targeted the first 4 wolves he saw and left them covered in hole and their blood on his vines.


    The other wolves attempted to retreat but Michael caught up with his wings and killed the remaining 2.

    Michael forgot to check the wolves level but he also forgot he had the skill to do that. He just kept going deeper into the cave and wasn''t too worried about what came next.


    A jet black wolf double the size of the others, appeared infront of him but this one didn''t have a horn. He didn''t know what to do, but remembered that he could see levels and stats this time.

    "I think it is... if it has mana, does that mean it can use magic?"


    It slowly approached him and made eye contact the entire time. It came face to face with Michael who was still in the air, cold winds came from behind it.


    Michael''s wings were clipped off before he even knew what happened. He fell to the ground, and looked up at the wolf, it looked down at Michael with pitiful eyes as his wings grew back.


    He sprouted out the rest of his vines and used them as limbs to pushed himself back, separating himself from it.


    "Were my wings cut off? Is that it''s magic?"


    It held a stare down with him, before his wings were almost done recovering, it leaped at him with the intent to crush him between its jaws.


    He used his vines to stabits eyes, blinding it. The wolf whimpered and backed off, then it released a mysterious fog from its mouth.


    Michael''s wings grew back and he used them to avoid the fog but it got to him as he took a deep breath.


    His vision began to blur and he felt really dizzy. It knew where Michael was and bit down on him, shattering his shellthensent him crashing into the cave''s wall.


    Michael''s shell was ruined and he was a bloody mess who was still suffering from the fogs effects. Michael used Blue Flames and aimlessly flailed it around until it hit something.


    The wolf used a sensory type of skill to know where Michael was but itwas too slow to avoid where the fire was coming from since not even Michael knew what was going on.


    The flame hit it''s front left leg and spread all over it before the wolf was able to extinguish it, its leg was burnt and became unusable.


    Michael''s shell regenerated and he was back to normal and his eye sight slowly came back to him as the fog faded. Michael used Sonic Shriek, thinking that it might do something, and the vibrations caused the fog to dissipate.


    The sound caused the wolf to whimper to the floor and it left it''s ears ringing. Michael''s eye sight came back immediately after the fog disappeared, he saw it and tookthis as an opportunity to finish it off.


    He used his vines to stab its head but before he could do that, a strong wind blew him away. It used one of its skills and activated some sort of buff in an effort to take him down with it.


    The wolf picked itself back up with a red aura emanating from it. It ignored its pain and cut Michael''s vines but couldn''t sense his wings but still leaving him powerless.


    It began attacking wildly and became more predictable but in return it became faster, But he''s still barely to avoid its attacks.


    Michael tried using Sonic Shriek again but it was useless against the rage induced wolf who snarled at him and sent compressed air randomly at him.Hetried to fly away but got his wings got cut off by wind.


    He crashed into the ground and flipped over onto his shell, using its sensory skill it was able to tell where he was. Before his wings got clipped he managed to create a lot of distance between it.


    It leap toward him but his wings grew back just in time and he flew away right before it bit down on him. It was pointless for him to run away because he was still caught by it and pinned him down as he was nearing the cave''s entrance.


    It had its paw down on Michael''s shell and readied itself to bite down on him, but it suddenly stopped.


    "Huh? What happened? I was about to cast flames before it ate me."


    It collapsed to the side and he saw an arrow sticking out of the leg it used to pin him down.


    "I wonder what happened here?"


    "Me too."


    "Who said that? They sound like girls... hmmmm."


    Michael was still in the cave and looked to the entrance and was blinded by the bright light of the outside world. Slowly, he was able to see two girls approached him.


    One of the girls were blonde and had light armor on with chain mail under it.


    "What''s a little guy like you doing here."


    "Who are you talking too?"


    Michael looked at the girls and they both seemed to be young and pretty cute too. The blonde girl put her bow away and picked Michael up and showed him to her friend. Who was a brunette wearing a black robe with the hood down along with chain mail underneath.

    Michael hid in his shell from embarrassment, he felt like he was being bullied by the pretty girls you find in school. The brunette then looked over to the wolf.

    Michael was reluctant but he didn''t want to get left behind by them, so he came out from behind the tree and tried to look as harmless as he could.

    The blonde lowered her bow.

    The brunette drinks some water from a flask and just sat there next to the blonde for a minute or two. Then the blonde gets up.

    They continued walking and came across a dirt road.

    They walk down it and after a while, Michael saw tall walls in the distance. They headed towards it and he guessed that, that''s where they''re going.


    They reach the wall gates and get greeted by a sweet old man.


    "Helloooo, welcome back, hope you''ve been doing well."


    The blonde smiled.


    "We''ve been doing well! What have you been up to."


    "O nothing really, just the usual routine."


    "Thats nice."


    "What did you girls do?"


    "We took a job to take care of raiders that attacked a small village, it was pretty far to be honest."

    He pointed at Michael and the blonde was confused but she just forgot he was following them.

    The three made their way into town and talked to each other.

    Michael closely followed the girls since he didn''t want to get lost in the hustle and bustle of the towns folk. The girls entered a big building and he followed closely.

 Chapter 4

    Liz would then go downstairs and left Michael on the dresser to bring him a bowl of lettuce. Once given to him, Michael would just admire the green freshness of the lettuce and not eat it.


    Liz noticed this and force-fed Michael saying ¡°ahh¡± treating him as if he were a baby. Michael ate his lettuce leaving behind only scraps, Liz would go downstairs to put his plate away, afterwards, she enters Emily¡¯s room to tell her goodnight.


    Michael went limp and closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep. Liz enters the room, turns off the light and goes straight to bed telling Michael goodnight as both of them slowly drifted asleep.


    The following morning Michael awoke and saw that Liz was still in bed sleeping. Michael wants to show Liz his skill but doesn¡¯t know how, so what he does is wake up Liz by poking her with his vines.


    Michael succeeds in waking her up, Liz yawns and stretches while getting up. Michael flys in front of her with his vines coming from his back, Liz immediately reacts by whispering ¡° What the fuck.¡±


    At this point, Liz thinks she¡¯s still dreaming and pinches herself (as if that ever does something). Michael feels embarrassed for some reason and floats down to the ground and puts away his vines as Liz watches in awe.


    Liz excitedly picks up Michael and wakes up Emily to tell her what had just happened.

    Michael hears their conversation and starts to fly around in circles proving to Emily that it happened.

    Once this transaction was complete Liz would go downstairs and get breakfast for herself and Michael rejoicing over the fact that she now has a familiar.


    Once the girls morning routine is complete they would then prepare to head out to the guild and choose a quest they could do.


    As the girls decided what they should choose, Michael was just flapping his wings, flying around waiting for them to choose a quest. The quest they ended up choosing was extermination.


    Slay the Great Behemoth.

    They accepted this quest and Emily pulled out a map out of nowhere and the location of the beast became a red dot. It was really far away so they first went to a adventurers shop and purchased multiple HP potions and MP potions and other essentials.Liz also purchased extra arrows for her quiver.


    Once they did all that they set off on their quest. While on their journey Emily wondered what else Michael could do, so she asked Liz.


    ¡°I don¡¯t know.¡±


    ¡°Well, you should ask him.¡±


    ¡°I could? Michael, can you show us all what you can do?¡±


    Michael heard this and brought about a small ember and slowly got bigger. Michael dissipated the flame once he thought it was enough.


    The girls were quite shocked due to the immense size and heatof the blue flame. Michael had never used his Sonic Shriek skill and tried it out for the first time now.


    ¡°Reeeeeeeeee¡±


    Michael released a large wave of distorted winds towards the trees that tore away the bark, and stopping once the wood cracked. The girls were quite impressed with what Michael had just before them.


    They continued their journey to slay the Great Behemoth and would soon begin their battle that would make them regret their decision of accepting the dangerous quest.

 Chapter 5

    On their journey the group find themselves being attacked by many monsters all level 30 or above ranging from wolves to bears and even a few elementals.


    Liz did most of the work killing the monsters in the area with Michael just there doing nothing and Emily leading the way and dealing with the elementals with magic.


    Michael has a look at the map and notices two metallic dots, one blue and the next red. The blue one being the map itself and the red being the Great Behemoth.


    ¡°Oh, well, that¡¯s convenient.¡±


    Michael grows tired of following the girls around, so what he did is wrap two of his vines around each one of them and lift them off the ground with ease.


    Now that they''re slightly off the ground the girls start to struggle and say ¡°let go!¡± and ¡°put me down!¡±. Michael ignored them and flew higher into the air right beneath the clouds.


    He then takes a final look at the map as he uses all his strength to fly over to the beast. The flight was still a whiles way but it would save them a lot of time.


    He was flying at very fast speeds that even Emily¡¯s hat blew off. Emily holds on to the map tightly not caring that her hat blew away.


    Michael gets bored of just flying, so what he would do is pretend to drop the girls getting a reaction out of them every time. He would do this occasionally when the mood was getting dead.


    A loud roar can be heard coming from the clouds, as massive Wyvern swoops down behind them. It rushes ahead of them and blocks their path, Michael sees it and heads down to the ground and the Wyvern follows.


    Michael then throws the girls into a patch of overgrown bushes and heads back into the skies to protect the girls all the while they¡¯re screaming. The girls get up and want to see what Michael''s gonna do.


    The Wyvern follows Michael to the ground using its legs to propel itself to him as he goes to the skies. Michael notices it opening its mouth and willingly goes into it, inside the Wyvern Michael creates a small blue ember which rapidly expands into a massive sphere of destruction that disintegrates its insides, killing it.


    The now hallow Wyvern falls out the sky crashing down into the earth causing a massive wave of gushing winds on impact.


    Michael still inside the Wyvern burns through it and flys out, he now checks his new stats and skills.

    Michael then went in search for Liz and Emily, they were already following Michael and the Wyverns battle which made it easier for him to find them


    Michael flew in the air and spotted them running towards the Wyverns crash site, he flew down at them and spun in circles screaming ¡°Reeeeee!¡±which is somewhat like a warcry for him.


    The girls were absolutely astounded in what Michael had just performed, to defeat a Wyvern is a huge feat on its own but to do it single-handedly is simply impossible.


    Michael forcefully took the map away from Emily causing it to fall on the floor, he then went to the ground floor along with it and checked the distance between them and the beast.


    Michael had no time to hear their praise and grabbed them with his vines and with his new stats he rushed over to it nearly two times faster than before. His flight was based mostly on his strength and agility, but Michael could only depend on his strength due to him being a turtle.


    Michael spotted a large mountain with a cave entrance south of it, Emily now comfortable with Michael carrying her says that they¡¯re getting close to it. He went down to the ground in front of the cave entrance.


    The cave entrance was ginormous, it was three times the height of Liz who was 5¡¯10 and the same in width. After a few seconds of just gazing Emily entered the cave and the map changed in appearance adjusting to that of the cave.


    ¡°Damn, that map is really convenient.¡±


    Michael lit the way with his flames and followed Emily towards the Great Behemoth. Multiple monsters attacked them but Liz killed them with ease as she always does.


    There were probably many adventurers that challenged the beast but seemed to have failed because it¡¯s still alive. Michael saw a random chest just there in the open, he opened it with two vines with a plan ready if it were a mimic.


    He opened it with the girls saying not to, it leapt at Michael with its mouth wide open ready to eat the flying turtle. Michael with his vines ready pins it to the ground and burned it till it was ash.

    The beast let out an immense roar that shook them down to the bone. Michael let out his own somewhat roar ¡°Reeeeeeeee¡± which sounded more like a screamthat was comparably pathetic to the beasts.


    Michael seemed to have provoked the beast causing it to charge straight towards the trio. Michael grabbed them throwing them away from the charging beast. Michael couldn¡¯t see the beast due to the immense darkness surrounding them.


    Michael used his blue flames and lit the cave, finally being able to see the beast he checked its level and gave it a little description.


    ¡° 130!! Shit, we''re fucked, yeah man GG I don¡¯t wanna do this. Bro, he¡¯s like all red with fucking twisted horns, this guy is so muscular too I can¡¯t believe a weird bear monster could be like this.¡±


    Michael at least tried to use his four vines and attempts to stab it rapidly but with no prevail because its hide is to thick to pierce. While this happens, Emily and Liz have formulated a plan to kill it, Liz shot multiple arrows at the beast distracting it along with Michael so that Emily can have enough time to deliver the final blow.


    At the time Michael didn¡¯t know about this, so he just tried to kill it as fast as he can. Liz told Michael to try and blind the beast, Michael obeyed and pierced its left eye but not able to stab the next one due to the beast backing away.


    The Behemoth sees the massive amount of magic accumulating around Emily and focuses attention to her and fires a beam of light from its mouth towards her, and disintegrating her and all that she had, including the HP and MP potions.


    Michael saw this and said ¡°aww shit, rip¡± now it was Liz¡¯s turn to see what happened, and in a fit of rage she ran towards the beast putting away her bow and bringing out a dagger which she then used to scale the beast stabbing it along the way.


    The beast, of course, tried to shake Liz off but she was relentless and continued, Michael also tried to get in the beast mouth and do what he did with the Wyvern but it had its teeth clenched trying to stabhim with its horns and swatting him to the ground.


    Liz made it on top of the beast and stabbed its head leaving the dagger in it causing it to go mad and crying out in pain flinging Liz off of it sending her crashing into a wall of the cave. Michael missed his opportunity to get in its mouth and then thought to just burn it but that didn¡¯t work because it was apparently immune to fire.


    Michael remembers back to when he stabbed its eye and thinks of getting to its brain through its eyes killing it. He twists his vines together into a lance and quickly flying to the beasts left eye where it had already been stabbed before.


    With one clean strike, Michael takes down the Great Behemoth. Michael now that he has taken down the beast flys over to Liz still down from when she got hit by the beast and barely clinging on to life.


    Michael sees her coughing up blood and asking to put her out of her misery. Michael obliges and does so with great lament stating ¡°I really liked her too, it¡¯s a shame.¡±

    Michael became Liz but he was nude, he was quite impressed in how the skill was able to copy Liz¡¯s body perfectly. Michael felt the draft in the cave and shivered. He warmed himself with his flames but it wasn¡¯t that efficient.


    Michael lit the surrounding area looking at the other dead corpses which were the people that have challenged the beast but failed. He saw a large cloak on the floor and walked over to it planning on using it to cover up Liz¡¯s nude body.


    He picked it up, but it was covering up a human skeleton so the bones rolled out as he was lifting it off the ground. Michael used his arms to shake out the dust from the cloak. The cloak was completely black with a hoodie.


    Michael didn¡¯t want to take the clothes from Liz because it would be pretty creepy to take the clothes off a dead girl. Michael walked over to the beasts head ripping the dagger out of it and keeping it as his own.

    Michael kept on looking around the cave and saw a large chest behind the beast''s corpse. Looks like the beasts''only purpose was to guard the chest and was quite successful until Michael came along.


    He opened it with his human arms only thinking it was another mimic. The chest surprisingly didn¡¯t leap at him and revealed to contain 6 brown pouches filled to the brim with gold. Inside it also had a pair of daggers with a scroll of DualDagger Proficiency. Michael carried these in another cloak that was conveniently placed there.

    The daggers disappeared and only returned when Michael wants them to. Michael then turned to the bags of money, picked one up and poured the gold coins into his inventory, and it¡¯s actually taking the money. Michael gets the rest of the bags and pours them into his inventory, in the end, Michael got 300 gold coins.


    Michael made his way outside the cave headed towards the bright light, but he still finds himself in a forest. He travels out the forest and spots a travelling merchant going down a dirt road. Michael cuts off the merchant blocking his path and causes the male merchant to stop his tracks.


    Michael walks over to the young merchant and greeted him with a happy-go-lucky smile.


    ¡°Hello good sir, do you happen to be selling maps or watches by any chance?¡±


    ¡°Sorry there are no maps but I do have some watches.¡±


    ¡°Great how much will it be.¡±

    ¡°Okay, do you have any change for a gold coin.¡±

    Michael didn¡¯t know there was a capital in the area he just assumed there was due to the fantasy setting he¡¯s in. Michael headed South till he came out of sight from the merchant, Michael then attempts to sprout his wing but they get covered up by the cloak.


    He went into the forest and removed the cloak to let his wings feel free and be able to fly. Michael holds on to his cloak because he¡¯ll need it when he arrives near the capital.


    He rises into the air and heads South towards the capital, but with him transforming as Liz he becomes faster than he was before because of his increased agility.


    Michael still in the air hovering over the capital, spots a castle probably belonging to a king. The capital was the size of a country, Michael wanted to be a dick and started to shoot blue fireballs at the houses terrorizing the people in the process.


    Michael turns to the castle and begins the creation of the biggest fireball he has ever done, once he is satisfied with its size he fires it towards the castle, it slowly makes its way to it but to Michael''s surprise it¡¯s dispersed by a spear that was aimed at his head but Michael nearly avoids it.


    Michael can¡¯t die, but that doesn¡¯t mean that he can¡¯t feel pain or be knocked unconscious so he has to be cautious of those factors. The spear passes by Michael but it returns to where it came from, he takes this opportunity to approach the lances owner and putting on the cloak as he gets lower to the ground.


    Michael walks over to a young boy with short hair, white skin, dark brown eyes wearing a plain white long sleeve shirt and black baggy joggers. Michael still at Liz smiles at the boy and he smiles back at him, for a while, it¡¯s just a stare down until Michael makes it to him.


    ¡°Who are you?¡±


    ¡°Who me? I¡¯m just a summoned hero that was once a boy.¡±


    ¡°Oh, so there are heroes in this world eh.¡±


    ¡°So how were you brought here?¡±


    ¡°I don¡¯t know, I just woke up surrounded by guys in robes.¡±

    Michael acted as if he was defeated and dropped to the ground in front of the hero and is arrested by the several guards that arrived. The guards in armour with each having a sword and shield, Michael is placed in a cage and taken to the castle prison underground.


    The hero follows the guards that were holding Michael captive because he still had some more questions to ask. Michael is dragged out of his cage and thrown into his cell, the hero asks the guards to leave so that he can question him.


    ¡°You can stop faking now, they¡¯re gone.¡±


    ¡°Okay thanks for capturing me.¡±


    ¡°Sure, what were you saying before?¡±


    ¡°Yeah what were did the guys in robes say to you.¡±


    ¡°They said something like oh great hero of might please save us from the terrible beasts that ravage our lands or some shit.¡±


    ¡°So you¡¯re the hero of might which makes sense that you have such great strength.¡±


    ¡°Okay, this has been on my mind for a while. Are you male or female?¡±


    ¡°Yeah I¡¯m a male even though I look like a woman, well actually my original form is a turtle.¡±


    ¡°So what are you doing here?¡±


    ¡°I actually had no idea what I was going to do when I got here.¡±

    ¡°Wait now I remember, I was going to get some armour for myself, but I got sidetracked.¡±


    Their conversation was interrupted by a guard saying that the king wishes to meet with the girl. Michael looks at the hero and gets up and follows the guard that leads him to the king.

 Chapter 7

    The guard puts Michael in handcuffs and escorts him out of his cell to the king''s throne room. The king glares at him as he enters, the guard stops and so does Michael with his head down.


    The king begins to question Michael in what he was doing attacking his kingdom, Michael didn¡¯t respond and just listened as he was snickering because he found it funny when he irritates the king.


    The king got tired of Michael being non-responsive and told his guards to behead him and get him out of his sight.

    A bright light surrounded Liz¡¯s body and started to form the shape of a small turtle but was getting covered by the cloak. Michael now as a turtle opened his mouth and from it came a poisonous fog that¡¯s coming from underneath the cloak.


    The fog would quickly fill the room blinding the guards because it was so thick, the king and guards all blinded were helpless and lost. They all inhaled the fog causing them to cough viciously to the point a few of them coughed up blood and died.


    Michael used this opportunity to escape the room by using his wings to get high ground, flew through one of the windows and letting the fog escape along with him.


    Michael flys out as a turtle leaving only a few survivors from the fog, those being the king and 6 of the other guards. There were 4 guards killed from the poisonous fog.


    The little turtle is currently in the creation of another big blue ball of flames and sends it towards the castle wishing to obliterate it on impact. The blue ball hits its mark and for some reason, the Hero of Might was nowhere to be found.


    The blue ball of flames made contact with the castle disintegrating all it touched and even exploding. The Hero was nowhere insight, Michael only destroyed the castle but the radius of the blast was still expanding leaving behind a trail of destruction, it only hit the surrounding buildings.


    The Hero left on his own will and knew that Michael would finish what he started, the Hero of Might set off on his own journey starting off a lot like Michael because he left without any sort of help.


    Michael came to the capital in search of gear but just destroyed everything instead realizing that he¡¯s a turtle and doesn¡¯t need any sort of gear. Michael had nothing else to do and just left to grind levels in the forest.


    He flies down to the ground as he is a turtle and turned back into Liz because he wants to use the two daggers that he got and his other skills as Liz.


    He lands naked in the forest, surrounded by trees and in daylight. Michael¡¯s daggers materialize on his palms. He swings at a poor nearby tree and slashes it, all the way to its heartwood with ease.


    He then tries to use his Thorn Scourge skill, he does so successfully with the thick thorny vines coming from the back of his waist. He uses them to attack another poor tree. He wraps his vines around the tree, rips it out of the ground and throws it to the side hitting other trees in the process.


    Michael then uses his vines to whip the sap out of the tree and leaving a mark with every strike. Michael starts to make up a domestic violence story as he whips the tree.


    ¡°STOP!! PLEASE NOT IN FRONT OF THE KIDS!!¡± Says the tree that¡¯s apparently a woman.


    ¡°They need to see what happens to cheating thots!¡± Says Michael in a raspy voice. He¡¯s doing this as Liz, so it looks like a naked woman screaming at a tree that¡¯s on the ground. The kids being the other trees surrounding him.


    ¡°Please! I¡¯m sorry it was all an accident, I didn¡¯t mean to do it.¡±


    ¡°Accident?! So you mean to tell me that you ACCIDENTALLY put his branch in your mouth.¡±


    ¡°No, wait! I¡¯m sorry.¡± Michael stops whipping the tree but instead now uses his vines to pick up the tree and smashing it to the ground until it snapped in half.


    Michael points his finger at another tree and shots it with a beam of light from it. Michael kept it firing and spun in circles trying to have fun with it. He thought to himself wondering if he could fire them from multiple fingers at the same time.


    Michael attempts to do so but utterly fails, it has been approximately 15 minutes since his attack on the capital. Michael gets bored because he really doesn¡¯t know what to do and decides to revisit the capital that he terrorized.


    Michael flys back up into the air and heads over to the capital, he lands on top of a building that¡¯s near the castle but didn¡¯t get too damaged from the explosion.


    Michael notices the lack of people in the area, so what he did was transform back into a turtle and begins his looting. He hovers over the ground looking around at what he should take, he gets closer to the castles ruble and sees shops that have a higher quality than the ones farther away from the castle.


    Michael enters a random shop; it¡¯s a shop that contains magic accessories. The turtle flies around the shop and looks at the many items in the shop. By the way, the only magic Michael can do is currently his Blue Flames and Light Beam skills.


    Mana is required to use these skill and the amount of mana you have is determined by your Int stat. There is one other way to use magic, for Michael it¡¯s by draining his HP but for normal people, it takes time out of their lives instead.


    Michael basically has infinite Mana, besides that. Magic is based on these elements. Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Lightning, Light, and Dark. These elements can be combined to create sub-elements and new magic.


    Now back on track each accessory is displayed in a glass frame with a description and price below it. Michael notices a gold ring with a ruby in the centre and approaches it thinking it might be of use.


    He stops to read its name and description.

    The bearer of this ring will receive a 200% boost in Fire magic.


    The ring was surrounded in a protective sphere made of dark magic, Michael touched the ring but couldn¡¯t due to the barrier. He thought of ramming it using raw strength but failed, a few seconds go by while he thinks of how to break it.


    He got an idea of what to do and opened his mouth to shoot a light beam at it. it didn¡¯t break immediately so he kept on firing the beam until the sphere shattered. Michael was relieved now that he got the ring and turns into Liz to put it on.


    A black box appears before him stating.

    Michael accepted but nothing happened, he wrote it off and continued his looting. He found everything else in the shop uninteresting and went outside, he walked over to the building opposite of the magic accessory shop.


    He enters the dark shop and browses around but only sees plain male armour sets. He leaves and goes to the shop next to the current one, this one is a lot bigger and isn¡¯t sexist like the old one but is still really dark.


    Michael is fucking blind and doesn¡¯t see the clearly visible light switch next to the door he entered through.     Michael grabbed it and tried to see what it was by lighting a small ember next to it, instead of an ember it was a moderately large fireball.


    Michael uses this to see this armour, the chest plate itself was made of obsidian with gold aesthetics the same with the rest of the armour set, and some steel chainmail. The armour set protected the shoulders, forearms, chest, and legs.

    Michael is a very picky guy and would only get something if he liked it or thought it might be of some use. He brought out his daggers and coated them in pitch black obsidian, it became a lot sharper and much harder. He tested it by cutting through some other armour sets.


    Michael is quite pleased for what he got and goes to look for more stuff to take, he had some new magic he could learn in mind. He headed towards the shop door to get out but notices the light switch that he missed before, as he exits he flips the switch on.


    He wandered around the shopping alley and finds a magic books shop and enters. He looks for the light switch and flips it on this time around, and he now begins his search.


    He finds a few magic books he finds interesting and reads their names and descriptions.

    Shadow Duplication: Allows the user to create a pitch black double of themselves by using their shadow and is maintained by using mana.

    Michael thinks that¡¯s enough looting and flies out of the capital, his wing appeared on his armour instead of underneath. That¡¯s how registering items work. Michael forgot to get a map so he goes back down to get a map and leave.


    He gets the map and goes back to sky slowly. Michael wants to test his new skills on a worthy subject, he heard what he wanted, it was a loud roar from a Wyvern coming from the clouds.


    ¡°Where do you guys come from?¡±


    Michael flies beyond the clouds in such rapid speeds that the Wyvern couldn¡¯t even keep up with him. He still was trying to get through the clouds but for some reason, it was too thick to pass, he realized this and heads back down below the clouds.


    Michael passes by the Wyvern and waits for it to get to his level, the Wyvern finally makes it and with no hesitation, it charges Michael. Michael expects this and uses his newly acquired skill Fulgur¡¯s Rage to attack it.


    Massive thunderbolts come down onto the Wyvern striking it to the forest ground, Michael heads towards its crash site. The Wyvern struggled to get back in the air due to its left wing being tattered from the thunderbolts.


    Michael gets an idea and makes a shadow double, A pitch black replica of Liz appears in the sky in front of him, he instructs it to remove the Wyverns right wing and legs. The double uses the Aqua¡¯s Giftskill to sever its limbs from its body, and Michael didn¡¯t know that was possible with the skill.


    Michael had the genius plan to draw a dick on its back, he did this by using his Light Beam skill while he was still in the air, by the time Michael finished his masterpiece the Wyvern died. Michael left the area and let its corpse rot in the forest.


    Michael checked the map to see where he could go, he looked at the map and saw Mt. Bellum on it.


    ¡°Why is it just in plain sight? Well, I know where I¡¯m going now.¡±


    Michael made his way to Mt. Bellum by flying, as Michael was flying he forgot to get rid of his shadow double and looks back just to see it following him. On his journey to Mt.,Bellum Michael faced several Wyverns and killed every one of them.


    30 minutes of flying he finally arrives at the humongous mountain rivalling Mount Everest even. Michael goes down to the ground to see a large group of adventurers headed towards a cave on the side of the mountain.


    Michael puts away his double and joins the group just by walking behind them, he follows them all the way to the entrance of the cave and they stop to explain their plan. The Leader of the group was short, white, had black hair, wearing good quality armour, and looked like he was in his mid-30s.


    ¡°Healers, you are going to support us from the rear, everyone else, lets hit them till they all die!¡± said the small man.


    ¡°Them?¡±


    Michael didn¡¯t know what was happening, he was just following a group of 12 into a dark cave while the sun sets. They entered the dark cave not noticing Michael in the crowd. The leader lit the path he followed with a torch.


    They followed the path until they entered a large room that was well lit with torches on the walls. They saw a staircase on the opposite side of the room and headed towards that led them to the second floor of the mountain.


    They got on the 2nd floor and nothing was there just an empty room, another staircase was visible that led to the 3rd floor. On this floor now there was a massive, golden hide ox, the group got information while Michael used his Observation skill to see its level and the rest of his group.


    ¡°Level 90 ox eh, these guys are like level 60-80. Glad to know they came prepared.¡±


    Michael chose to watch the group fight the ox instead of helping, the ox immediately created a ball of lightning with its horns and from the ball shot out several lightning bolts at the large group.


    They all scattered avoiding the bolts of lightning and using their enchanted weapons to attack it. The ox charges at them ready to kill someone, but there¡¯s a twist, the ox seems like it¡¯s far away when charging but it uses its Lightning Phase skill to get closer to you.


    This actually caught someone by surprise, and they nearly died but one of the two healers helped him recover. Most of them had enchanted weapons that fired waves of light when swung, they used these weapons to attack the ox.


    The ox was severely damaged, lost an eye and quickly losing blood from a wound they kept targeting. The ox entered a mad frenzy, charging at people randomly, it tried a last-ditch effort to kill everyone in the area, along with a loud roar.


    It used all of its power to release a massive electrical charge that broke the walls of the cave. Michael uses his Deus¡¯s Control skill to make a wall of rocks to protect the group, He uses this opportunity to kill it with his Light Beam skill, piercing it through the head.


    The adventurers still hiding behind the wall wondering who placed it there, Michael exclaims as Liz stating that the ox killed itself from its attack and that he made the wall.


    The group rejoiced the zero casualties and their success. Michael takes this opportunity to crush them with the wall that protected them.


    Michael checked his stats because he wants to see how strong he will get from clearing the entire mountain of beasts.

    Michael continued his journey up the mountain to the God of Beasts.

 Chapter 8

    Michael made his way up the mountain slaying every monster that blocked his path, he used his skills diversely so he can level up and evolve them.Most monsters didn¡¯t have any new skills for Michael. It was either no skill or a skill that resembles one of his.


    Michael entered the room and noticed the lack of there being a monster in the area. He uses hisScanskill because he figured out that it makes a level and name appear the creatures head, the stats also appears if Michael looks lower. He looks around going in circles and eventually he begins to just spin and giggling, avoiding the fact that there are three white lines appearing every time he does a full spin. In time he stops and looks at the lines while dizzy.

    "Bro *chuckles*. What a pussy, hiding from lil ole me."


    Michael still kinda dizzy shoots a light beam at it but completely misses his target. The dizziness wears off of Michael. He starts to spin in circles again while the light beam is still coming out of his index finger. The creature tries to escape Michael''s light beam and remains on the ceiling of the floor.


    Michael stops firing his beam along with him spinning and falls on his back giggling, he looks straight ahead which is where the creature is and points at it.


    "What are you looking at?"


    The creature spits at Michael, he roles away from the incoming spit and looks at it, the spit was acidic due to the fact that it was burning through the stone floor. Michael took this as an insult and replied.


    "The fuck you say to me you little shit!!"


    Michael used hisLight Beamskill to shoot down the creature, and it reverses itsCamouflageskill. It falls on its back and immediately gets on its legs. Michael starts to get on his feet and waits for the large, black chameleon that''s currently rushing Michael.


    The gap between him and the chameleon closed very quickly, he waited for the perfect opportunity to strike. Michael uses hisFulgur''s Talentskill to basically teleport above its back a cut it clean in half with hisLight Beamskill.

    Michael made his way through the next 9 floors, and he arrived at the 21st floor and encountered a large bat hanging from the ceiling. Michael got out of his silly state and was quite irritated for some reason. He burned it to ash while it let out an extremely high-pitched screech as it fell to the ground burning.This story is posted elsewhere by the author. Help them out by reading the authentic version.


    It kept on screaming which made Michael even more irritated, his shadow double appeared and Michael instructed it to use God''s Wrath, it did so putting an end to bat''s screaming.

    "I don''t think I can do this."


    Michael''s shadow double appears and the shadow rushes the figure usingFulgur''s Talent to increase its speed while Michael stayed back and watched. The shadow takes out their own black version of Michael''sDaggers of Darkand attempts to stab it through the head but the daggers weren''t able to pierce its head.


    The figure ignored the attack and turned to Michael, and it seemed like it teleported in front of Michael and grabbed him by the neck. This caught Michael by surprise causing him to widen his eyes open in shock. Michael was being irrational and began to use hisGod''s Wrath skill to attack along with his double attacking it from the back.


    The figure ignored all of these attacks and snaps Michael''s neck causing him to be knocked unconscious. 2 hours later Michael wakes up outside the cave at night time.


    "I got destroyed... I''m not ready to do this yet."


    Michael gets up off the ground and checks his map. He sees a little town on the map calledParvus. He flys to the sky and heads over to the town, while in the sky he wonders about if he can register his map instead of going into his inventory and pulling it out.


    Michael looks at the map and says.


    "Register..."

    A minimap appeared on the bottom right corner of Michael''s line of sight. He saw it and saw a blue arrow moving very quickly across the grassland and assumed it was him moving.


    He sees the small town ahead of him and stops when he reaches above it. He hovers down to the ground into an alley and uses hisCamouflageskill to go to sleep without being noticed.


    He awakes due to the cold air around him and sneezes. He continues to sneeze repeatedly even while he''s camouflaged, due to this he transforms back into a turtle thinking that they don''t feel the cold.


    When Michael felt thecold, he thought about how turtles are cold-blooded and thought that it meant they don''t feel the cold and proceeded to transform into a turtle. During winter most turtles hibernate but sea turtles migrate to warmer and tropical climates to escape the cold.


    Once a turtle he still felt the cold and got the genius idea of lighting himself on fire. Sadly Michael didn''t feel the pain due to his armour''s set bonus, but he forgot about the armour bonuses and it was all dumb luck that he didn''t feel any pain.


    Michael stays in the alley and transforms back into Liz while burning. He extinguishes his flames when he felt warm enough and walked out the alley into a generic fantasy town.


    Not many people are out right now due to the cold weather but there are still few that are walking around. Michael looks like anamateur adventurer, with his plain armour and no visible weapon, so everyone that saw him just didn''t care.


    He continued to walk around the town reading the signs on top of every building. He saw a sign with the wordsNick''s Forgedwritten on it, he walks into the shop and hears the sound of a doorbell ringing and the sees the multiple weapons displayed in the store.


    He saw smoke coming from behind the counter that was located at the back of the room. He approached it and said.


    "Hello, is anyone there?"Said, Michael, as he waved the smoke away.


    A young man popped up in front of him coughing, hiding whatever he was smoking behind his back and waving the smoke away.


    He was a 6''2, skinny, has brown skin, low curly hair, glasses, and wearing plain grey clothes and a black apron.


    "Y-no, I''m not here, I drowned in wood."


    "Yo, you good. Nick?"


    "Na. my mum calls me Nick and meh dad calls me..."Said Nick in a British accent.


    "Bro, what have you been smoking."


    "Nick." Said Nick, interrupting Michael in the process


    "Okay. Are you also drunk?


    "Nyo"


    Michael looks behind the counter and finds 3 glass bottles of beer on the ground, 2 of which are empty and the last one is nearly finished.


    Michael wanted to do something about his armour but he couldn''t because the shopkeep was drunk and also probably high. Michael thinks of what he can do, but Nick just sits back on the ground with his back on the counter.


    Michael thought of using hisAngel''s Touchskill to remove the toxins out of Nick''s body. He touches his head and heals him successfully but now Nick''s suffering from being stoned and having a hangover, Michael managed to stop the painful part of having a hangover but not the rest of it.


    Nick closes his eyes and tries to fall asleep, but Michael keeps messing with him and snapping his fingers to scare him. Michael looks out the display window and sees it snowing. He stops bullying Nick and goes outside to experience snow.


    In his past life, Michael never got to see snow at all because he always lived somewhere near the equator which makes it always warm or hot. It begins to snow even more to the point the snow is 1 foot thick, Michael makes a lumpy and brings it inside to hit Nick with.


    He throws it at Nick''s face lightly to scare him, Nick immediatelywidens his eyes and gasps. Still slightly stoned he looks up at Michael and stands up very slowly.


    Nick closes his eyes and sits back down on the floor to sleep, Michael decides to leave him alone to sleep and just waits for him to wake up.

 Chapter 9

    Michael spent most of his time looking at the snow outside and reading the names in his transformation list and laughed at the weird ones that he saw, he did this sitting down facing the display window.


    "Black Beast, Niger. Not too sure if racism exists in this world."


    "Owo, Big Ting John, that''s a very creative name."


    Those were apparently the only funny names Michael could find, so to pass the time he slept for around 33 minutes facing the display window. He awoke to the rumbling from the ground shaking, apparently, this didn''t wake up Nick who was still sleeping peacefully.


    Michael moves in his sleep so he had to turn around to look outside the display window. He just saw snow covering it and attempted to open the door, he turns the knob and pushes the door open without much strength but manages to smoothly move the snow alongside the door.


    He didn''t know that there was snow above him, and it fell through the door and onto his head, Michael lit himself on fire and flew up through the 180-inch (15feet) thick snow with his bird wings.


    Michael flies above the snow and looks at the battle between a Primordial Water Elemental and one of Earth occurringin the skies. He just sees a blue shining light and a brown one crashing into each other.


    A Primordial Elemental is the final evolution of the three stages a normal Elemental and is followed by the second stage which is called a True Elemental.


    Michael didn''t really know how to stop this, so he just watched them fight while the earthquakes continued. Their fight soon came to an end after a bone-shaking clash, the brown light slowly faded away and the earthquakes stopped.


    The blue light flew away and the snow stopped coming down, Michael lets it leave because he wouldn''t be able to kill or stop it. He went intoNick''s Forge to check up on Nick but he was still sleeping, to pass more time Michael melted away the remaining snow in the area, after doing that he noticed very wide and deep cracks along the ground.


    They were from the earthquake caused by the Primordial Earth Elemental, Michael uses hisDeus'' Controlskill to close it up. It has been 50 minutes total since Nick went to sleep, he still didn''t wake up yet, Michael was considering the idea of killing him to get his skills.


    In the end, Michael gets impatient and kills Nick. Michael stabbed Nick''s chest with his vines, and Michael did this while in the shop.


    "Sorry, you know what I''m gonna say it. I don''t care that you broke your elbow."

    Michael still didn''t know where to find or get any of the items so he checked his map to see if there was anywhere else to go, plus he wasn''t ready to go back intoMt. Bellum.


    He was thinking of going to another town to ask about where to get the materials from. He settled on a town that was closer than the others, it was calledProvectus.


    Michael also wanted to transform into Nick because in his past life Nick looked a lot like he did. It took Michael a while to find Nick in the list, but he did in time.


    ¡°Nicholas White¡± Michael found him at the bottom of the list and assumed it was him because it was the closest to his name.


    Michael was right to pick this name because it was Nick but with armour, The armour Michael had on Liz adjusted itself to match Michael¡¯s new form. Michael wondered what would happen if he were to become an animal.

    The armour hid, but its bonuses were still active. Michael took the form of a large, black dire wolf with a blue line starting from the tip of its tail that separates into two and lead to its blank white eyes.


    "Arr, rororo."That''s Michael trying to speak as a wolf.


    ¡°I¡¯m not a black boy anymore... oh I forgot, I can¡¯t speak as animals."


    Michael felt more comfortable as a wolf so he stayed like this for the rest of the day, he was barely able to fit in the shop and broke through the display window to get out.


    At the time people were coming outside to see the aftermath of the battle, but all they saw was a large wolf jump out a window. People began to scream in terror, so Michael hurriedly ran out of the town and headed to the next one.


    He went through a forest as a shortcut and ran through several trees in the process, Michael wasn¡¯t fazed in any way by the trees and broke them with ease.


    He stopped when he saw the town entrance and noticed 2 guards protecting the entrance, he turned back into Nick while in the forest behind a large tree, after he walked out the forest and approached the guards in standard armour.

    Michael takes the pouch and walks into the town. He doesn''t know where to go so he went to the building closest to the entrance. The building he walked into was very large and white, it kinda looked like the White House.


    He''s greeted by the female receptionist wearing white at the front desk.


    "Hello welcome to the Adept Adventurers guild."She said with a smile.


    Michael looks at her and smiles back along with a"Thank You"and asked where he could find the materials.


    "Yes there are a few quests that could provide you with those materials, or you can trade in your Guild Coins for them."


    "Well, do I have to be a member to gain these privileges?"


    "Yes, you just have tosignthis membership contract."


    "Sure."


    Michael used Nick''s initials to sign it, after signing it a white circle appeared on the left side of Michael''s chest with the initialsA.Ain it.


    "Looks like it worked successfully, now you can participate in the quests pinned on the Quest Board."


    "Thank you."


    "How come I didn''t see this on Liz''s body, hmm."


    "Oh wait, where can I trade in my Guild Coins?"


    "Yeah, just go up the stairs, and it should be there."

    Michael made his way to theQuest Boardand looked around, and assumed it was a holiday or something because there was no one there besides the receptionists.

    "Na I could do it, by the way, what''s your name."


    "Just call me Luna."She said as she looked for the map in a desk drawer.

    Michael left the guild with his map in hand with the intent of slaying the Drakewing.


    "Wow, there was a lot of thanks going on back there."

 Chapter 10

    Michael looks at the map he got and saw that the Drakewing was moving around a lot and found it confusing, I''m pretty sure he didn''t know that living things can move. Michael doesn''t even try to do anything else he just leaves the town within 15 minutes of arrival.


    He pays the guards 10 more copper coin to leave the town and followed a dirtroad until was out of the guards'' line of sight. While he was walking, he thought about why they didn''t deny entry to astranger with no luggage, it seemed really strange to him but he was glad that he was able to get in.


    Still walking he turns the corner to follow the road, he was thinking about transforming into that dire wolf again because it was pretty fun to run around on four legs.


    "How come I didn''t transform when I was reading out those weirdnames, doesn''t matter, I didn''t want to anyway."


    Michael got far enough to transform but before he did, he checked his map to make sure he''s headed the right direction, but in reality, he was going backwards and had to turn around.


    He was in good spirits, so it didn''t really bother him too much, but it was sort ofembarrassing to pass by the guards again.


    "Why didn''t I just use my camouflageskill. I must be retarded."


    Michael passed by the guardsand uses hisCamouflageskill and transforms into the wolf, he was still camouflaged and begins to run.


    He already broke the sound barrier while running through the plain grassland and usesFulgur''s Talentto increase his speed by 100%. Michael is currently running at Mach2 which is 1,535 miles per hour, WOW that''s so cool, to run that fast should be impossible for a human body to withstand, theirflesh should be ripping off by now but luckily this didn''t happen to the wolf form Michael chose.


    Michael ran through the same old forests and grasslands, and nothing challenged him, well besides his idiotic decisions. While he was running, he thought he was unstoppable, so he chose to runthrough trees calledSequoiaand they''re the largest trees on earth but nowhere near the largest inFithelhim.


    Michael ran through it, but he just ended up hitting his head really hard causing him to collapseon the ground panting, probably tired of running.


    He wants to fly instead, but he doesn''t want to look dumb, just imagine, you look up and see a large black wolf with bird wings flying.


    "I''m a wizard. I bet I could learn to fly, with, MAGIC!!"


    Michael usesDeus'' Controland uses the wind to lift himself off the ground slowly, he moves forward equally as slow, bumping into trees along the way.


    Michael was still tired, so he reverts back into a turtle and brings out his shadow double.


    "Hey, just carry me to the Drakewing."


    The shadow obliges and turns into Nick, but pitch black, it grabs Michael by the shell and flies above the forest. Michael retracts his head into his shell, a *hiss*sound comes from Michael because the air is being expelled from hisshell.


    Michael sleeps while his shadow flies him to the Drakewing, 1 hour of Michael sleeping.

    Michael walks over to the Drakewing and rips off a scale with ease, he then rips off 9 more scales and put them into his inventory without registering them. He also rips out its horn and stores it for later.


    Michael flies around the volcano with his copy following him. His copy sees a rock that is black and metallic. His copy points it out to Michael.


    "Nick, come help me out with this."


    "So my name''s Nick now. Ok."


    Michael makes it down to the rock and punches it at an attempt to shatter it. The rock breaks into 4 shards and Michael puts them in his inventory


    Michael looks around the area and sees other black metallic rocks and tells Nick to help gather them. Nick breaks them the same way Michael does, and they both go flying around the volcano looking for more obsidian.


    "Hey, Nick, how much do you have."


    "I got, 13 so far."


    "Cool, I got, 17. So we have 30 together."


    "Yeah ok."


    They shouted at each other to communicate, and after collecting 42 shards in total, they couldn''t find any more rocks in the area. Michael decides to scale up the volcano in search of more obsidian.


    "Wait don''t go yet, the Drakewing."


    "What about it."


    "Go get the rest of its scales."


    "Oh, you go get it."


    "No... Fine."


    By the way, Nick also has access to Michael''s inventory, Michael flies up the volcano while Nick picks off the rest of the Drakewing''s scales. In the end, the Drakewing looked like a featherless chicken.


    Michael couldn''t find any obsidian in his search, and Nick collected all of the scales. Michael told Nick to follow him, and they flew to the top of the volcano.


    "Yeah, just stand right there."


    "My grammy once told me inside a volcano is very hot, and not to go near."Says Nick while looking into it.


    "Well, maybe she was Right!!Michael pushes Nick into the volcano.


    Nick plays along and goes into the magma. He doesn''t feel the extreme heat because hisDef stat is really high and provides immunity to that level of heat.


    "Haha, take the L noob." Michael was doing the"Take the L"dance while saying this.


    "Shut up you piece of shit! Go back to the orphanage where you came from!"Nick was really triggered.

    As he gets closer he sees little turtles walking around eating grass and chewing on tree bark.
