《A vampire life》 Prologue Blood, too much blood. A car and a body in the center of the lake of blood. This is what I see, I''m getting higher and higher and my view is getting more and more blurred. That was my body, I crossed the street and was run over by a car, quite a stupid way to die I think... Well, now I''m really curious where my soul will go, my body is on the street and I, the soul, I''m heading to a portal that is on the sky. The portal is not too big, it is circular and has a diameter of 10 meters, but differently, from how it is described on the movies there is no light, or heat that hugs you when you enter, but it is much more similar to a black hole, dark, that sucks you inside. There is no information about a planet with that name. I focus my eyes on the soul, he is again looking for me inside the room. A soul should have at least some magic on it given by the System, but this soul has completely zero magic inside, this means that this soul is even more interesting. The magic array I drew inside the room was used to take a random soul from the universe and bring it here, that is really dangerous because the soul can be of every possible tier. The possibility of a very strong soul being called is very low, but if I am very unlucky dying will be considered the best outcome. Normally the soul that are being called are of 0 or 1 tier, but even a 0 tier will have some magic on it given by the System, I am very interested of the world of this soul, a world without a System. I come near the soul and put my hand on it. Soul search Soul searching is a magic that gives you the ability to see the past of a person, but the soul that has been soul searched will be slowly destroyed. The soul starts to blurry and little pieces start to fall down. At the same time in my head, all the memories of that person become mine. What a wonderful world is that planet, not having magic they developed an alternative path called technology. I think I have found something to start to research. Having finished seeing all his memories, I focused again on his soul, well, now it is less than half of before. When I am very close to the surface of the planet I can see finally some detail, first of all, it seems I am on a battlefield, with hundreds of hundreds of corpses everywhere, the ground is completely destroyed, and there are only some dozen of people that are moving, using torches to move on the night. I think the battle has finished some days ago and the people that are moving are the ones that are looking for survivors and valuable objects. Now that I am so close to the ground I noticed my soul keeping to sped up as if attracted to something, I focus my sight and I seem to be headed to a particular corpse, the corpse is of a very beautiful young man, with long black hair and a purple robe, with a bloody gash on his stomach. Besides the corpse of the man, there is a young girl that is crying on his chest. My soul passes by the girl and enters the corpse. *DING*

Interesting, I can choose to be an undead, but I am no fan of being a zombie. I start to scroll down and besides the normal white color on the races, I find some races with different colors.

I feel something like fluid flowing inside my soul. My soul, that was fragmenting, stopped and the little soul shards started to fuse again inside it. Then after been completed again merged inside the body, and little by little all the parts of the corpse become my body, then a little tingle started to spread on the body, becoming stronger and stronger. I think the little girl that was beside the body was scared of the process because started to scream and move my body. But it was completely useless, the tingle, that now has become similar to having many little knives flowing inside my body, makes me completely unable to move even the smallest of my muscles. The pain, then, started to decrease little by little, until no tingle can be felt in my body.

Did I increase a level drinking blood? Interesting, interesting. I remove my teeth from the girl, and I let the corpse without life falls to the ground. Ok, first of all, it appears I don''t have a name, I would like to choose the name of my past life but I cannot remember, I don''t know if it is caused by the fragmentation of my soul, or it is a problem due to my change of race, well this problem can be solved later.The author''s content has been appropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. Of course my race is Vampire, instead rank seems to be something related at the type of vampire I am, and from the name, it doesn''t seem a strong one. The level should mean I am level 2 of 5, 5 should be the maximum, from what I have understood when I arrive at that level I should undergo some type of evolution. On all the other characteristics I don''t have much to say, strength, defense, speed and intelligent are quite self-explanatory, and their value doesn''t mean much to me now, 10 can be a very high number or a very low number. But being a lesser vampire I think my abilities are in the average of a normal person. Well, there is nothing more? Like some special abilities that have come with the race?

Well, not bad these abilities. Light weakness and blood regeneration were expected, these are what characterize a vampire, but First vampire is really OP. Maybe increasing a level was so easy because of this ability, and what does it mean being immortal? I cannot be killed? For example, if the light touches me I will die or not? Well, I don''t want to find out the answer, not risking to really die. I move my head and look at the battlefield. If 5 liters of blood have let me increase a level, how many levels all this blood will give me? But before that, I have been rewarded with a Stat Point from the level up, I think is time to put it in my stats. What should I increase? I would like to increase the Int stat, to have an easier way to learn and understand the new language, but now in a battlefield, with people that could fight me, I think it is better to increase a more useful stat. Well, I think I choose Str.
