《Undead Anima》 Prologue "Yosh~ another win!" My name is Uno Tachibana, 17 years old, currently I''m in a train station. Beside the stairs, there''s the vending machine and beside it, the gachapon. I spend my time playing here every day after work and wait for the train to come. I stopped studying because of financial problems, or rather, there''s no one here to support me. I left you with all the money I have left, so take care of yourself] A few days after she left, I saw her with a new husband. I never bothered to approach her, because she seemed so happy with her new family, I don''t want to ruin it for her. So I started to use her money, by finding a part time job, luckily I find one. A small convenience store was looking for an employee and I was hired easily because of it being a new store. The manager is an old man so I think he pitied me. But my working skills are no joke, I go to work every day, even on Sunday. And now, I''m busily playing the gachapon, I won six toys, a small lantern with wheels, a toy crow, a toy sword, a small maid doll, a small talisman, and a wisp. As I was about to win another toy, a bunch of people ran up the stairs. I looked at the tunnel and saw the light of an incoming train, fast. The toy showed up, when I opened it, a small note inside. The train isn¡¯t stopping. It jolted off of the tracks and head towards me. I was frozen and couldn''t comprehend what''s happening, the note I won flew in front of me saying. The inside of it is extremely huge and there are three floors inside, the first floor are mainly for dining purposes and the second floor are the several rooms and lastly the third floor compose of an empty space. The carriage itself are fast and also it can generate a barrier ¡· ¡¶ Four quad barrier - Summon four talisman surrounding the summoner and generate a barrier strong enough to defend against strong magic and physical attacks. But in order for the barrier to work, the summoner must never step outside the barrier. It can expand for about 10 meters. ¡· ¡¶ Celestial spear - A massive spear will appear from the sky and hit the mark target, it can only be used up to three times a day. ¡· ¡¶ Nightmare Crows - A flock of bird that attack the targeted person, their body is made of pure black miasma that poison anything it makes contact and they were a skull of a bird. Their strength are not good but they''re numbers are a big problem. ¡· ¡¶ Wisp of the forest - summon three wisp that gives light and can do healing, they can also guide you through the darkness. They''re extremely weak and can be defeated by a swing of sword. ¡· ¡¶ Broken doll - An automata that dresses as a maid, but it''s a fighting type, it carries a giant scissor and also has the power to produce strong silk that den cut a person''s neck if strangled by it. It''s a god class automata but due to it having a malfunction to berserk when its master is threatened, it''s considered to be a broken doll. ¡· Chapter 1: Rise of the undead *gasp I woke up in a dark small place, as I move, I hear a creaking sounds. Also, I felt my body to be somewhat, weird. I raise my arm slowly and felt a rough surface, when I applied force, it moves. I push it upward and it opened while making a sound. I rise my body and look at my surroundings, violet roses, a coffin, and also a candle. The illumination from the moon helps the surroundings get lighter because it''s extremely dark in some corners. "Where am I?" As I muttered that, I felt something different, my voice change, I also saw the color of my skin, pale, and also, the flowing silver hair with a shade of purple. Right, I reincarnate to another world. But, why I have this body though? And the coffin? Also, the naked body I got. *creak I hear a sound behind a wall, someone''s coming. "HIME!!!" Eh? "Now, Hime-sama, since you just wake up, we will take this nice and slowly, I will tell you the current situation regarding you and the whole clan." Clan? I sat down the bed and she went outside, as she got back she carry a cart. She took a kettle and a cup, poured something, seems like tea. She gave it to me and I gladly take it. Also, I''m the last Royal bloodline of it and a variant, carrying the blood of the undead clan and also the life clan. My father, is a pure undead King, Grachiel, my mother, Rosetta, is a pure elf, and she belongs to the life clan. They are opposite beings that fell in love and tried to live without the chains of their clan tied to them. They left their clan and several clansmen followed them, my grandfather is not proud of their relationship so he throw away his son, father, removed him from the royal family, mother also been thrown away by her family. Though being deserted by their family, they had each other traveled the land with their followers. Their love grant them a blessing, a child, a child born from the undead and life, a being born from opposite elements, it''s a miracle that I have been born. I what they called, a variant, also called as a being that was not supposed to be here in the first place. But I have a rare condition, a condition that makes me sleep till I achieve its requirements, it''s called mana overgrowth, it''s a condition where my body can''t handle a massive amount of mana and it will makes me sleep till I have a body capable of handling it. As soon as they finished their village, a black Raven came with a letter, father receive the letter, and the Raven flew to a nearby tree and seemed to wait my father''s answer. The contents of the letter is from his father, he needs help because the light clan is waging a war against the undead clan. Grandfather is too old and the undead clan is one of the weakest clan. Father can''t reject the help of his father so he went on a journey to go to grandfather, mother also came with him thinking that he might also need some help, the followers stayed at the village so that they can guard it. Several days passed and no sight of the two people they follow, so they sent someone to find them but once he came back, they learned the tragedy that happened, the undead clan lost the war and all of the people are now dead, also, the beheaded couple can be seen lying on the ground surrounded by thousands of corpse. They lost hope thinking that they are the last one of the undead clan and also the followers of Rosetta cried, thinking of what would happen to them now. In the midst of the sad fate, Merry stood up and spoke to everyone. "We are not yet dead!!! We will live for the sake of our clan and there are one person who can make us rise to the top and get revenge to the clan who dirtied our name, that person is the sleeping princess, our only last ruler." A dark circle appeared before me and black feathers started to spout from it, then, a circling black wind appeared with black feathers following it, as the wind dissipates, thousands of jet black crows with a bird skull of its face started to roam the sky. "Attack!!" The crows dive to where Vox sensei are, but Vox-sensei didn''t move from his location. "Garnet Snowflake." A black circle appeared below sensei and then a purple crystal appeared and it turn to a spear encircling him. As the crows getting close to him, sensei flip his fingers and the spears started to fly with an incredible speed and then pierce my crows, as it pierce they are now crystallized and fell down to the ground, then they shattered. "Is that all you got?" I''m not worrying right now because he destroy my crows because they will regenerate in my staff eventually. "Thy maiden of the heavens, serve and protect me from evil, Appear before me, Broken Doll!" A circle appeared again in front of me and appeared a doll with a maid outfit, her porcelain skin and the creaking sound it make makes me think she really is a doll. "Goshujinsama, orders?" "Attack sensei!" "Roger!" The doll ran with an incredible speed, she summon a giant scissor and hold both handle while aiming for the neck of Vox-sensei. Wait I''m not telling you to kill him! But amazingly, Vox-sensei block it with his hand covered on dark ice. He kill the doll''s abdomen and sent her flying. As she crashed down, she began to stand and make an unstable poise. She began again attacking sensei but with precision and accuracy to parry his ice. I switch my summoning staff with the other staff, the life staff. Since sensei is busy with her I will also attack from the behind. "Grow and attack thy enemy, thou shall not escape my bind, Bind roots!" I don''t know what exactly happened but, the Prince and the life woman go leaving their child, asking us generals to lead the rest to protect the child. Reports came, the undead clan are now gone, all are dead. We are the only people left from the clan. I didn''t see the child, but years passed she was enclosed in a magic item coffin, then she woke up. Then I saw her face for the first time, a beautiful glistening silky purple hair with silver strands, and the peculiar one is her eyes, green and purple. After she awakened, she immediately undergo the ritual, we saw her status but Merry tell us don''t be bothered by her status. Ever since I saw her, she reminds me of someone, it''s my twin sister which I adore so much. Even though they don''t look alike, they have the same personalities, kind, smart, childish, and also a shy person. When I was assigned as her teacher I was so excited and after teaching her, I felt this sensation of great pleasure from hearing her calling me teacher.
