《Adventures of Zik Sev》


 The events that led to Zik Sevs death, part 1

    Year 2138, May 8th.


    Above the planet Teros, multiple spaceships of different shapes and sizes could be seen flying around, dodging and attacking each. One thing to take notice of though, is that the ships are one of either two colors:Orange and Purple. Well, except one, a dark red ship, slowly flying closer and closer to the center of the battlefield, when its left side gets hit by a stray shot from one of the orange ships.


    ˇ¶ALERT!!!ALERT!!! LEFT THRUSTER HIT!!!ACTIVATING BACKUP THRUSTERS!!!ˇ·


    As the ships alert system goes of, a loud bang could be heard coming the bedroom.


    Bedroom


    A man in his mid twenties could be seen, sitting on the bottom bed of a bunkbed , rubbing his head after getting woken up by the alert system, causing him to accidentally bump his head on the top bunk.


    "Ouch, stupid alert system, waking me up on my first day off in a month, what do you want!?"


    An irritated Zik said, while getting off the bed and getting dressed, when the alert system replies.


    ˇ¶LEFT SIDE THRUSTER HAS BEEN HIT, BACKUP THRUSTERS ARE NOW IN USEˇ·


    "What? How? Where are we at?"


    Zik hastily asks, as the ship he is in was bought using almost all the money saved up for a month, so he doesn''t really have much money to repair it.


    ˇ¶LEFT SIDE THRUSTER HAS BEEN HIT BY ARMOR PENATRATING LASER ROUND WHILE HOVERING ABOVE PLANET TEROS.ˇ·


    Hearing the name Teros, his face immediately turns ashen, as he shudders slightly. According to his knowledge, the two main leading races of Teros, the purple Frequins and the orange Telians, two of the oldest races, know to have existed for at least millions of years, have been stuck in one of the longest space wars in history, at least 10,000 years, and have been unable to progress forward in technology as far as some other races have, like the Retoru of planet Mesdas, because of their greed for supremacy over planet Teros, so it has been called a forbidden zone for other races.


    "Uhhm, system, why are we above planet Teros, I set course for planet Theros, unless......."


    Flashback , one day ago


    As Zik walks over to the control station of his new spaceship he just bought, he sets his newly brewed cup of coffee down on it, while he inputs his destination, planet Theros, when he accidentally bumps his cup over, getting hit by some of the steaming hot liquid, luckily though, the control station is waterproof, or in this case coffee proof, unluckily though, his hand accidentally slips, which causes him to accidentally tap on the icon for planet Teros, which looks oddly similar to planet Theros. After cleaning up the spilt coffee, he finishes putting in the controls, takes a shower, changes in to his pajamas, and goes to sleep.Love this novel?     End of Flashback


    After remebering what happened last night, Zik hurries over to the the control station, and when he checks the last command that was input, he finds out his theory is correct, that he did accidentally press on planet Teros, and because of that, he is now in the middle of a very active war zone, filled with hundreds of thousands of space war veterans who know how to fight, while he, a newbie, doesn''t even know how to fly straight, the only things he knows how to do is input some commands and use the system, so after getting his bearings back, he gives himself a peptalk to sike himself up, before he says to the system


    "Oh almighty alert system, can you please get far, far, far, away from here? I would very much appreciate that."


    The alert system responds.


    ˇ¶COMMAND CANNOT BE EXECUTEDˇ·


    "Uhm, and why is that, oh almighty system that will definitely save me because I have no other option?"


    ˇ¶COMMAND UNABLE TO BE EXECUTED, INSUFFICIENT CHARGE, ACTIVATING SLEEP MODE TO CHARGE, WILL BE DONE IN 42 HOURSˇ·


    Hearing the system, the only noise Zik can make is,


    "Ehh?"


    Somewhere on planet Teros in a large castle, an hour before the stray shot hit Ziks new ship, on the Frequins side, a short and chubby purple alien could be seen, most likely running as fast as it could, seeing as multiple drops of sweat drip down its face, holding a small die sized cube carefully in its three fingered hands, before rushing through two double wide doors, before walking up to another Frequin, who is wearing a crown and sitting on his throne, most likely talking to one of his war generals about the status of his army, which clearly wasn''t fairing well, considering the frown that seems to be getting worse the more he hears , before kneeling and shouting out,


    "Your Majesty!! The Destruction Die has been found!!"


    The king, minutes before the chubby Frequin rushed in, wasn''t having a good day. First of all, his wife died giving birth to his new child. Second, his beautiful daughter, Kali, got kidnapped by the Telians. Third, his genius son, Lathon, got killed by a Telian general. And lastly, the status of his army is getting worse and worse ever since his son died.


    At this moment, the two double wide doors leading to the throne room were burst open, and he could see his chubby butler named Thursh enter and kneel before him, before shouting.


    "Your Majesty!! The Destruction Die has been found!!"


    Hearing this, the kings is shocked, one, because the legend is real, and two, he now has a way to end the war that has been going on for generations, so the king replies full of shock and excitement


    "What!?! Where did you find it!?! That was supposed to be a myth!?!"


    The short and chubby Thursh hurriedly responds. "It was found in the mine, closest to the holy church of our goddess Leztech. With it was a few books telling one how to use it, and a few other legendary items as well, like Oreqwis''s blood draining sword, and Keltall''s vine bow."


    The king immediately got excited, with all these amazing legendary weapons, how can he not win the war? The king quickly but carefully snatches the Die out Thursh''s hand and gets off his thrown, he then walks over to a door labeled War Room but stops and turns to Thursh, saying " What are you waiting for, hurry and go get the other advisors and tell them to meet with me in the war room immeadiately!"

 The events that led to Zik Sevs death, part 2

    While the Frequin king is getting ready for an impotant meeting in his war room, the Telians have been getting more and more anxious, not because they are scared that they will lose the war, but because of excitement, since they know that they are winning, and not just by a little, but a huge margin, and the only way that they could think of them possibly losing is if the Frequin''s goddess, Leztech, personally came down from the heavens of her own accord.


    Telians side, kings castle, throne room. A few seconds before Zik''s ship gets hit.


    In the throne room, a giant, orange, bi-pedal, duck-like creature was sitting on the throne, talking to another, albeit massively smaller in size and more hunchback, Telian.


    "Edward, tell me, have the Frequins made any advancements lately? I bet that their moral is at an all time low, seeing as how their beautiful princess has been kidnapped and their genius son has been killed"


    The Telian king quaked out, as he looked at Edward.


    "Your Majesty Simon is certainly correct, how could those purple bastards be happy now? I bet they are cursing their ancestors for starting this war with us!"


    Edward said while rubbing his hands together, while picturing in his head, multiple Frequins stomping on their ancestors graves while spouting curses.


    You might be wondering, why does he hate the Frequins so much, right?


    Flashback, 50 years ago. Edward''s Pov.


    ''After countless nights with little sleep and nonstop work, I can finally go home'' Sighed Edward, thinking about his wife and daughter, while driving his car down a deserted road to a small backwater town.This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.


    While driving through the center of town, he gets an uneasy feeling, seeing as the usual bustling town is rid of people walking the streets , but dismisses it, as it is around 11:30 at night.


    As he pulls in the driveway of his house, he hurriedly gets out of his car, walks up to the door, and knocks on it.


    1 minute........no answer


    5 minutes......still no answer


    After wating for a few more minutes, the uneasy feeling comes back again, so he lifts up the potted plant next to the door and picks up a spare key and uses it to opens the door.


    Destruction


    Seeing everything in his house destroyed, Edward''s face pales, as he runs back to his car before quickly coming back with a laser rifle in hand.


    *CRASH*


    Quickly turning around to the noise, Edward points the rifle towards its direction, before slowly lowering it down to his side, because he sees his daughter,  battered, bruised, and broken, but thankfully alive , standing there looking at him with puffy and bloodshoot eyes.


    "Erina!"


    Edward exclaims as he runs towards her and engulfing her in a hug before asking.


    "Erina, where is your mother?"


    Erina mumbles a response which shatters Edwards heart


    "Dead"


    End of flashback


    A few days after, they found evidence of Frequin activity nearby, and if that wasn''t enough evidence, they found a corpse of one in a house near the outskirts of town with a bullet hole in its head, and the body of a Telian holding a gun nearby that matches the bullet, so they decided to call it the Ambush of Tereash Town.


    Two days later, Zik Sev''s ship.


    ˇ¶ALERT, ALERT,ALERT!!!! SHIP IS FINISHED RECHARGING, COMMENCING REBOOT, ..........REBOOT FINISHED.......FINISHING COURSE TO DESTINATION:TEROS. ARIVAL TIME: 8 HOURSˇ·


    Meanwhile, in his bedroom, Zik Sev could be seen wearing noise cancelling headphones, so as to not get woken up by the system again on his day off.


    (NOTE: Zik didn''t hear the alert because of his noise cancelling headphones)


    About 3 hours later, Zik gets out of bed and takes off the noise cancelling headphones, grabs a change if clothes, and heads to the shower.


    35 minutes later, after getting out of the shower, Zik could be seen reading light novels, trying to pass the time while waiting for his ship to recharge,as he thinks with a sigh


    ''Man, if only I could meet god and get wishes, then maybe I wouldn''t be stuck working myself to death just to meet the deadline.''


    Out of seemingly nowhere, the alert system goes off

    Hearing the alert system shutting down, Zik Sev hurries over to the window and sees a giant beam of energy coming towards the ship, running over towards the alert system control area, he tries restarting it but to no avail, and as the beam hits his ship, the last thing he could think of was never being able to see his cat named morris again, and as the beam hits him.........................


    ..............................


    Darkness


    Thats all he could see.


    Flashback, 30 minutes before Zik Sev''s death, Frequins side, war room.


    Inside the war room, multiple purple,three fingered lizard people could be seen discussing about the cube and a smooth,thick,rectangular slab of stone on the table, when the door open and the Frequin king came in the room with his butler named Thursh, who is carrying a book, which he sets down on the table.


    As the Frequin king sits down, he starts to speak.


    "As we talked about last time, we now be using the Destruction Die today."


    Hearing this the kings war advisors start to get excited, as excited murmurs echo throughout the war room.


    The king raises his hand, which causes everyone to go silent. He then turns to Thursh and tells him


    "Roll the dice."


    Doing as his king commands, Thursh picks up the die and rolls it on to the stone slab, and ends up rolling a six.


    When the die stops, a bright flash occurs and a small purple dragon floats out of the die, and says.


    "You can choose six things to destroy, now choose."


    Hearing this,Thursh looks at his king, and after receiving a nod, he responds.


    "I want you to destroy 3 of the highest technologicaly advanced ships that are not purple, and i want you to shoot the Telian castle twice and with a giant death ray.........the Frequin castle once, also with a giant death ray."


    Listening to this, the kings eyes widen as he says


    "But.....but...Thursh...why?"


    Thursh responds, infurriated,


    "Why wouldn''t I, you poisened my son and took the throne away from him, the rightful heir to the Frequien kingdom!"


    As he finishes, a bright light flashes, and a giant explosion ocurrs on both sides of the planet, which kills hundreds of billions of Telians and Frequiens alike.

    Thats all he could see, for what seemed like years,until he saw a bright flash.


    Then, he the wierdest feeling, it felt like he was falling ..........oh wait ......he was....


    "AAHHHHH!!!"

    As far as the eye could possibly see.


    At this moment he starts to think


    ''First im trapped in darkness, now im trapped in whiteness? Whats next? Gray?"


    Hearing a chuckle come from his left, he turns towards it and sees a short old man wearing a shirt and pants with what only could be described as moving stars on them, walking towards him, so as any normal person would do, he asks the old man


    "Hey starry gramps, where am I? And who are you?"


    Hearing him freak out , Starry gramps says


    "Young one, be calm, I am the god of wishes, or you can just call me Nova, and you are in my domain because you died on my favorite day, so I''ve decided to grant you five wishes, but there is twist."


    Zik''s eyes start to shine as he thinks of all the things he could do with 5 wishes, but when he hears that there is a twist, he decides to ask starry gramps a question


    "Hey, what do mean by a twist?"


    As if knowing he was going to ask that question, starry gramps answers


    "Well, i will change 1 thing after i hear your 5 wishes by spinning a wheel, and you only find out what it is when you either reincarnate or transmigrate into the world you want to go to. Now, hurry and choose, I have other things to do after this."

    "Ah,alright, well, i want to be reborn into a fantasy world.


    1. I want to be reborn as a dragon of the strongest bloodline and i want to be able to change my form into a human, ooh and make me handsome.


    2. I want to have the ability to control all of the elements and have an infinite amount of every energy, like mana of qi.


    3. I want unlimited in all my stats, but i want to be able to control them, so i dont kill everybody i touch.


    4. I want the instant mastery cheat.


    And for my final wish, i want to be able to go to different worlds, like anime, light novels, games or movie worlds."


    "Interesting choices, well, off you go."


    As he said that, he snaps his fingers, and guess what, im back in the darkness again!


    ''Now that he is gone, i can choose the twist.''


    Thinks Nova, as he snaps his fingers again, which, this time, causes a wheel to appear. On the wheel, there are many things, ranging from things like change race, delete one wish, change gender and so on. After spinning the wheel, the old man laughs, as he thinks ''Sorry kid, I hope it doesn''t feel wierd missisng your little brother.''

    As I try to stretch my stiff body, i hear a cracking noise,which makes me pause my action.


    ''Was that caused by me?'' I think as i slowly extend my hands forward,until im blocked from going any further.


    ''Lets try a adding a little more strength''

    As i roll out of what appears to be an egg, i try to stand up only to fall face first into the ground.


    ''What the?'' I think as i look down at my body, only to remember that im now a dragon.


    As i look around, i see that im in a cave, so i try to walk over to the entrance.


    When i get there, i decide to sit down and think about what im going to do with my life.


    After thinking for a while, I decide to plan out my future for a year.


    First two months(months 1 and 2) I will learn and master as many skills as i can, because with instant mastery that will be really easy.


    Second two months(months 3 and 4) will be spent on hunting monsters to level up and gain experience.


    Third two months(months 5 and 6) wil be spent adventuring outside, but not too far away from my cave,


    Fourth two months(months 7 and 8) will be spent stockpiling food and making my house more comfortable to live in.


    Fifth two months(months 9 and 10) will be spent by trying to find a human civilization, because by that time i should have my human transformation down.


    The last two months will be to try and see if there is an adventurers guild, because if there is, I will try to get the top rank.


    After all that thinking, i start to get hungry, so i walk out of the cave and head towards the forest.


    After walking for a few minutes in search for food, i spot a rabbit with a horn on its head hopping around.


    As i stealthily walk up behind it, i accidentally step on a twig, which makes a crack noise that clearly alerts the horned rabbit, as it turns around to face me.


    After staring each other for a few minutes, the rabbit decides its had enough, as it jumps at me, horns first.


    Seeing it attack me, i dodge to the side, and pounce on it with lighning fast speed, as i rip my claws into it''s neck, which kills it instantly.


    Pulling the rabbit by the foot using my mouth, i take it back with me to the cave. When i set the rabbit down, i go back to the forest to get some firewood, and after i get a good stockpile, i use some to make a fire using my firebreath.


    Waiting a few minutes for the rabbit to cook, i transform into my human form. After eating, i go over to the lake i saw about 5 minutes away from the cave while i was searching for the rabbit to get some water, but what i see in the reflection shocks me.

 Human interaction part 1

    Third Person Pov


    Somewhere deep in a forest, a beautiful, 18 year old girl, with long, luminous green colored hair, could be seen running down a huge mountain before slowly coming to a stop, panting with her hands on her knees, a few minutes later, she tries to walk forward, but she staggers, and falls face first into the soft, pillow like green grass, which perfectly matches the color of her hair.


    "Huff.....huff...I can''t go.....on....any further...."


    This is Zik Sev, he, or should I say she, has just finished her daily run, which consists of her running up an down a mountain, that is almost quadruple the size of mount everest might I add, which she has labled Hell Mountain, every single day, for the past 6 months, at least 1000 times. And even though she has unlimited stats, including endurance, she can control her stats, which means she can also lower them. The reason she is doing this is because, if her stats somehow get restricted, since she has trained it before, she could do it again, even easier the next time, if it ever happens. She does the same thing with her other stats as well. For strength she juggles huge boulders the size of mountains, for agility and dexterity, she runs as fast and nimble as she can through the forest while dodging trees left and right.


    After resting on the soft, green grass for about 30 minutes, she gets up of the floor, wipes of her clothes, and heads towards her house, which is actually just a cave on the side of a mountain.


    When inside, the first thing she does is throw off her sweat drenched clothes, and quickly grabs another pair , before running out of the cave and towards the lake thats about five minutes away from her house.Royal Road is the home of this novel.     After walking for a few minutes, she spots the lake, and after setting her clothes on a large flat boulder close by, she cannonballs directly into the lake, which causes a loud splash as well as a mini rain shower to occur, with some fish here and there.


    After playing around for a few minutes, with her keen sense of hearing, she hears a rustle in the bushes not far from her location, and just she is about to get out to run away, a beautiful woman that looks about 30 years old walks out, followed by two men and a women that look like they are in their twenties.


    On instinct, Zik hurriedly lowers herself down as far as she can in the water while still keeping her head above it to breathe. This apparently causes a lot of noise, which causes them to turn their heads towards her direction.


    Zik Pov


    From there expressions, i can see that they don''t have any bad intentions, well, maybe one of the guys, according to the perverted grin on his face, but that quickly disappears, as the young women next to him elbows him in the gut, which causes him to clutch his stomach in pain.


    The others though seemed alright. Both of the woman had frowns marring their faces as they looked at me. The other young man, though, had a look of indiference as he quickly looked away, almost as if he didn''t care at all, though if you looked closer, you could see a red hue appear on his cheek.


    As I stare at them for a few minutes, wondering what to do, the older women of the group clears her throat and asks me.


    "Are you lost? My name is Elizabeth Ralsh of the Crowned Orchard sect. What is your name?"


    Hearing her questioning me if im lost, im about to shake my head no, when I start to think.


    ''This is a great opportunity. If I say yes, i can go with them, which is good, because that means civiliation. If i say no, that means i have to stay here, with no one to talk too to keep me sane. My choice is obviously the first one, but what should my name be, considering my name is pretty wierd, even in my last life. Hmmm...........Oh I got one!''


    "Yes, I am lost, I would very much appreciate the help. My name is Amu Sevik by the way."


    Hearing my response, she smiles at me and says.


    "Well than, my group will be back at our camp. I will be back in a few minutes."


    Seeing her about to walk off, I ask her before she could leave.


    "Hey, do you think yo could bring me some clothes, the only clothes i have are the ones i made from the monstes that i killed."


    I say this while pointing towards the rock my clothes were lying on. The woman looks towards my clothes, then back to me as she says.


    "I should have some extra pairs of clothes back at camp that you could wear. Then, I''ll be back soon."


    After she walks away, I think to myself.


    '' Huh, well, that was easy.''

    Flashback:Elizabeths group before the meeting Amu.


    "Lady Elizabeth, are you sure there are any monsters over rank 3 out here? All we have been finding are wild animals. We wasted an entire day trying to find one."


    The man whined to Elizabeth as he is setting up his tent and organizing his equipment.


    Elizabeth sighs hearing this, as she says to the man.


    "Warren, how many times have I told you, be patient. Thats not the main reason we are out here in the first place."


    As she finishes, the young girl walks up to Elizabeth and asks.


    "By the way, you never did tell us why we are, other than training?"


    As Elizabeth finishes setting up her tent, she looks towards the girl and says.


    "We are here to hunt a rank 4 beast that has been causing trouble to the merchants that travel to and from the sect. The beast is an evolved version of the Simunis Tiger called the Largus Tiger. Does that answer your question, Lily?"


    After hearing what they are supposed to fight, Warren and Lily''s faces go pale.


    In this world, beasts are ranked 1 to 10. They can evolve at any time. After they evolve, the ranking changes from 1 to 10 to 1 to 20. The beasts that evolve are called magical beasts because after they evolve, they form a magic core, which holds the entirety of their cultivation, even the impurities, but it''s possible to fix that by making them into pills. After their first evolution, they don''t just stop evolving, they can evolve more. Every time they evolve, their max rank they can become gets a plus 10. The max number of evolution for a creature known is 10, so ranks 1 to 100.

    Turning her head towards the direction the noise came from, Elizabeth ordered Warren.


    "Warren, go find Clyde. We''re going to investigate what that noise was."


    "No need, I''m already here."


    A man leaning on a tree said in a cold voice.


    Turning towards him, Elizabeth nodded as she said.


    "Alright everyone lets go."


    After walking for about 15 minutes, the group stopped near the edge of a lake and hid behind some foliage.


    "Alright, on my count, we charge out.

    As all four charge out, weapons drawn, only to see a young women, about eighteen, give or take a year, with only her head above water.


    Flashback End. Amu''s/Zik''s Pov.


    After waiting for a few minutes, Amu sees Elizabeth come back with a pair of clothes in hand. After walking over to the other side of the lake, she sets the pair of clothes on the flat rock where Amu put her clothes,and says.


    "After your done dressing, go over to the place where you saw us come out from, and just walk straight for about 15 minutes or so, and you will see our camp."


    I respond with a nod, and after I''m absolutely sure that she is gone, I get out of the water. Instead of waiting until i''m dry, since i have control over all the elements, I use wind to speed up the process.


    After im fully dried, i go over to the rock where Elizabeth put the pair of clothes at when I realize, it''s girl clothes. I get that I''m a girl now, but still, i used to be a man.


    After thinking for while, i just decide to live with it and put them on, which takes a little bit of fiddling, but i manage.


    After I''m finished dressing, i walk over to where Elizabeth and her group came out from and start walking.


    About 15 minutes later, i spot a camp. Looking around, i see the pervert and the young women sitting next to each other on a log, talking. To my left, leaning against a tree, with his eye''s closed and his arms crossed, i see the shy guy. To my right, I see Elizabeth practicing with a sword.


    Hearing something from behind her, Elizabeth stops practicing and turns around and faces me as she speaks.


    "Your here, well, were not going anywhere today, so you might as well busy yourself with something."


    "Ah, okay, well, do you have any other swords?"


    "Here."


    Elizabeth says as she tosses me the sword she was just using. As she walks over to her tent, she turns back towards me and says.


    "Thers is only four tents, so unless you want to sleep outside, you can sleep with me."


    Hearing her say this, i agree immediately. Only because i don''t want to sleep outside, alright! No other reasons what so ever.


    After Elizabeth goes into her tent, i go over to a tree and slash it with the sword, and of course, little old me forgot to control my strength.


    BOOOOOM


    A loud explosion sound goes off, and as i look forward to where the tree was before, and for as far as i could see , which is pretty far, a few thousand miles or so, a deep ravine.


    As i turn around, i see all four of them, looking at me like im some kind if monster, and the thing i could say was.


    "Oops."


    The next morning


    After destroying almost half the forest, the two i saw sitting on log the other day, who i found were named Warren and Lily, were scared to death of me. Elizabeth and the shy guy who i learned was named Clyde, even though I could tell they were still scared of me, they weren''t scared of me like the other two were.


    Walking up to Elizabeth, i about to ask her where we are going, when a giant red furred tiger jumps out in front of us.


    "Its the ranked 4 magical beast, the Largus Tiger, everyone be careful."


    After she finishes speaking, the tiger lets out a roar, it unleashes its aura, which causes the 4 of them to kneel on the ground.


    "What?!!? But, it was only supposed to be rank 4?!? How is it rank 6??!"


    Elizabeth says as she grits her teeth as she tries to stand up, only to fall down again.


    The other 3''s faces go pale when they hear her. As for me? Well, im standing behind them, perfectly fine.


    ''You want to show off,huh? Well, how about i do the same?


    I think as i release about 0.00001 percent of my aura, which immediately dominates the tiger by a couple hundred times. As for the tiger? He immediately explodes into meat paste. Seeing the tiger explode, the 4 of them let out a sigh of relief as they get up off of the ground, only to be confused, wondering why the tiger randomly exploded, only for them to look towards me. After gather up her courage, Elizabeth walks over to me and asks, clearly shaken.
