《The Bane Of All》 Prologue:A Reincarnation at its finest I could feel nothing. No sense of touch, smell, hear, see or taste registered in my mind. Though vaguely, I could tell my body was floating. In what? I don''t know. How did I end up here? I died. I was a gamer, an obsessed one at that. And, I died doing the one thing I was best at. Gaming. And also, a lightning strike. Yeesh. This is boring. I hate boredom. Ever wondered how being robbed of your every sense and time feels like? Just boredom. I had panicked when I first arrived here, but now I quite like the silence. I''m sure I''m in some sort of limbo right now, just waiting for the goddamn reincarnation cycle to put mw back to where I belong. Hmm, maybe I''d be reincarnated as an animal, looking back at my karmic deeds. Well, whatever. I don''t really care what I am as long as I recieve entertainment. I am a gamer, after all. Screw Riches. Fame. Glory. Power. Death. Life. I want entertainment. Man, this is boring. Maybe I''d be better off in hell, or someth- You could be reading stolen content. Head to the original site for the genuine story. ..... ........ The fuck. Holy shit, I just got a freaking system! Did I do something to get a system?! Nah, that''s not important. What''s more important is that i got a system! Even if I couldn''t feel anything, I knew I was doing some weird form of dancing. I mean, who wouldn''t? A freaking system! After I came down from my high, I realised something. I could see! Well, only the system anyway since everything else is black. I saw a notification tab on the top right, an inventory tab next to it and a status profile tab on my top left. Also, a pop up that''s currently in the center of my vision. It didn''t take a single thought for me to click yes instantly. What came next was a series of characters that I instantly recognised! Hell, they were all my game characters from the different games I played! Fantasy, Magic, MMORPG, RPG, BattleRoyales, etc.. I "sat" down and thought for a while. I didn''t know what type of world I''d be going but regardless, there were three picks that would help me in every world. I singled them out from the rest. The first was my female character, Alice from [No More Glory], which was a fantasy world where you are a demon princess that aims to become a demon god. Of course, I was the last demon god of the game until the game was destroyed by hackers. The second was a male character, Adam from [The Kingdom Of God] where you wete the first human that was casted out from it and you aimed to dethrone god. It was a crazily hard game(pay to win too) but I managed and damn, the buffs you get are crazy. The last was a female character, Lilith from [Beyond Time]. This is the craziest, FREAKING hardest game I''ve ever played. You start off as a peasant, a goddamned LEVEL 1 peasant and had to kill a level 40 demon right off the bat with just a sword and shield. Granted, the game gave you some sort of leverage as the monsters were easy to predict but. . .god. In the end, I managed to achieve the best ending, where I became [VoidLord], a being that surpasses time and chaos. So, in order I would have to choose a character between a Fantasy game, an action game and a MMORPG. It took me a while as I had no information on what world I was about to be reincarnated into. And, I''d REALLY like to live a bit longer thank you very much. It took me what felt like decades but in the end, I decided to choose the last one, seeing as I would have the best bet at surviving and enjoying life. Besides the demerit at having to reincarnate as a girl and suffering from it( I have a fear of girls), it would be worth it. Taking a deep breath, I told(with my mind) the system that I would choose Lilith from [Beyond Time]. My time stopped. The black colour that I had been so familiarised in crackled and broke apart. My mind spiralled as my senses returned. The memories of Lilith forced itself into my head. I felt like dying over and over again. Lilith''s fear of the unknown. Lilith''s first victory. Lilith''s first defeat. Lilith''s first lover. Lilith''s longing. No, my longing. We longed for the same thing. I was lilith and she was me. We yelled out the desire that we had kept so controlled. " " GIVE ME ENTERTAINMENT! " " My body finally took on the body that i had always meant to take over. I had just become Lilith, body, mind and soul as it slowly turned into dust. But, I did not fear it. For, I was about to be reincarnated. Beware my new world. The [VoidLord] is coming. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo Chapter 1:The Voidlords Descent The World of Terra had always been filled with war and discord. Thousands of realms were interconnected with this particular world, which only served to increase the number of wars for dominance. Terra also had an interestingly long history. It was an old world, after all. The Old Age, the age where magic was first discovered by the old gods and devils. They ruled supreme and dictated everything, treating humans as their toys. The New Age, also known as the Age of heroes. Many heroes were born during this age who sought for freedom and liberation. In time, someone accomplished it. The first hero king, Argus Goodheart liberated humans and all creatures from the gods as humanity dominated the world. The Age Of Realms, the turning point in Terra''s history where creatures, unimaginable and horrid appeared from portals all over the world and invaded it. They had far more destructive forces and sent humanity into despair. The Age Of Despair, the world was shrouded in darkness after the forces of humanity lost to the abyssmal creatures from beyond. Terra reclined back to it''s primitive age. The Age Of Hope, the Great Tree Yggdrasil sprouted from the roots of the world and reached to other realms. Help eventually arrived in the form of elder dragons and a union of phantasmal creatures. The abysmall creatures were pushed back. The Age of Power, the world was liberated once more and entered an an age of peace. The world now had a diverse amount of dominant species. This was the current age that Lilith was being born into and the age that she would either end, or help all realms in existance. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . The Lost Forest, Lilith''s POV My feet touched the grassy land. It was ticklish but not uncomfortable. I smelled the air, sweet and fresh. Savouring enough of my new life, I opened my eyes. I saw hovering islands of which water fell from them, prismatic colours of nature, a land of stone and runes, and a far land of ice. It was beautiful. Avian creatures, the size of dinosaurs roamed the sky as bipedal creatures dominated the leafy forest. I looked downwards. I was on a cliff, overlooking the forest. The scenery had me on a hold, but I willed myself to tear away from it. This is a fantasy world, a world of swords and magic. The world I am going to explore and could possibly die. But, no matters. Who knew my death gave me another chance at life. Ironic. Wait. I feel like I''m forgetting something. I looked around and walked back and forth, trying to remember it. And, finally I did. " Status! ", I yelled out in excitement. A blue pop up appeared on my screen, showing my character profile.

I nodded my head, looking at my status. Tis the status one should get after an ungodly game. More importantly, I recall being changed into a girl. Looking at myself from my profile, I signed. I had short, jet black hair styled wonderfully accompanied with a milky, smooth pale body to die for. My eyes were a prismatic colour, just like the cosmos. I was currently wearing a black monarch regalia, and under it was a war dress. Both of them of course, had insane buffs that i implemented into them. I drew my attention away from my image and focused on the beeping tab that read [Abilities] and [Skills] but I didn''t bother to open those. I am Lilith. I know all my spells, abilities and skills. And well, it is OP. Thank god, I went with this. But even so, I really don''t have much information of this world and that could lead to dangerous consequences. Only a fool would get drunk in power and I am no fool. At least, I don''t intend to be. Wait a minute, I did have a map function didn''t I?If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. I murmured, "Open Map" and it did. Well, it took a while to start up but nevertheless, it worked! My eyes met the blue, wide screen that was in the center of my vision. It was exactly like the map function from [Beyond Time] so it was easy to use. A black dot that signalled me, red dots that signalled enemies or anyone that held high hostility towards me, gold dots that signalled allies and gray dots that signalled neutral parties. Looking at the map, I was relieved to see there wasn''t any red dots. I really didn''t want to get into a cliche "Save the princess!" scenerio that a lot of isekai novels depicted and many seemed to like. I hate cliche things. Just as I thought that, a gray dot suddenly appeared on my map and it was moving quite fast. I felt dread at what I just thought of. ''It can''t be, right? Surely, there''d been enough of princess scenerios. . .right?'' My body shivered unconciously. I REALLY hate cliche things. Also, I didn''t wanna go and save her(if it IS a princess scenerio). I know, I know. The protagonist saves the princess, the princess likes him, the journey starts, blah, blah blah. Excuse me but I''m not some messiah or an optimist. That type of thing only happens in mangas and animes. Also, who knows if the the person I save is good or bad? He/She might turn to be a boss level demon lord or something. Also, the person might backstab me or even KILL me in the future if I somehow pissed the person off. Anything could happen, this is a fantasy world after all. I contemplated within myself as my brain raced to solve all the questions I asked. After a few minutes of self debate, the tiny, good, naive part of my soul won. ''Remember your origins. You were helped by your ''father''. Without him, you would have been nothing.'' I grimaced in guilt which meant I had made my decision. This better be worth it, or I''m gonna go on a rampage. My pale hands struck out into the empty air. My regalia disappeared as a black war dress took it''s place. I smiled and called upon the ungodly amount of mana as I intoned. [Path Into Death] Any traces of me being in the place disappeared as my void "ate" my position and targetted the position of the gray dot. It was effectively a teleportation skill. Hold on, whoever you are. Mommy''s coming. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . The Lost Forest, 3''rd POV Liliana Isabella Goodheart had been born into a luxurious, worry-free life. She was the only princess to the Goodheart Kingdom, the Kingdom of the deceased HeroKing. Since young, she was blessed with extraordinary looks and a high aptitude for the arcane arts. Surrounded by wealth, fame and power, one would think she would have no worry in life. Reality however was far from the truth. She had to fight everyday for her survival, be it with magic or politics. Liliana had always been targetted by power hungry individuals, both in the kingdom or the world. She grew a mind of steel in time. Diligent but deadly. Kind but Monstrous. That was her, Liliana, heir princess to the Goodheart Kingdom. People admired, loved but most of them feared her. It turns out one fear in particular grew too much. The result? She was framed, sent for exile and was currently running for her life through one of the world''s most mysterious and deadliest spots, the Lost Forest. The exiled princess huffed and puffed, cold sweat rolling along her body but she never stopped running. ''Why was I born a princess?'' Tears rolled down her pristine cheeks as fury burned in her ruby eyes. " If I get through this, I will get revenge. Tear their limbs, Rip thier hearts and crush their brains. Let the heavens be my witness. ", she swore in vengence. Her ashy white hair flipped to the side as she took a steep left turn, rolling down the hill. She had barely avoided an arrow of steel! Liliana cursed again at her powerlessness. In her prime, she''d be able to tank a dragon! But, of course she was stripped of her magic and left to live as a mortal. The greatest humiliation that could be done to a sorceress. " Here! The princess fell down the hill! ", a roguish male voice yelled. Hundreds of footsteps and horse steps soon followed after the voice. Liliana knew this was the end. Her left arm was mangled, her ankle broke and she was suffering from a concussion. Moreover, her body was excessively bleeding and if her calculations were correct, she''d die in 10 minutes. She smiled in defeat. ''Ah~ If I knew this was gonna happen, I would have studied more diligently.'' She heard the galloping of horses nearing towards her location. Determing from the sound, she deducted that a whole squad was out to kill her. Her limbs useless and her escape destroyed, she slowly closed her eyes and leaned against the tree, waiting for her death. The wind played a soft melody in favour of the soon to be fallen maiden. "Found her!", the male roguish voice from before yelled out again. She recognised the sound. It was Tom from the royal knights, according to her memories. A couple more male voices sounded around her before it all came to a halt. Liliana still closed her eyes. "Well well well, look what we have here. A princess once beloved by her people now reduced to nothing more than a fallen maiden! Here here! ", a male voice screamed at her, banging his sword on his shield as an insult. Liliana instantly knew the abhorrant, drunk voice. Jonathan, the drunk but powerful captain of the Royal Mages. Jonathan had never liked her as he envied her talent in arcane magic. Liliana didn''t care though, the feeling was mutual. " Here here! ", other male voices resounded, insulting her. Liliana still kept quiet. The tapping of feet could be heard before it stopped right near her. "What? Death got your tongue, princess?", he mock-whisper near her ears. Jonathan clicked his tongue in anger. "Well then, don''t mind me when I cut that pretty little head of yours." She heard the drawing of sword but did not fear for her life. Instead, Liliana felt mocked as a mage used a sword to kill her. The exiled princess released a cold breath. She smiled and watied for her death. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ''Are they so useless that they can''t even kill me?'' She slowly opened her eyes and what she saw shocked her to the extreme. A beautiful, no , the woman in front of her was more than that. She wore a black war dress that inspired death to her enemies and all that opposed her. A jagged sun totem hovered behind her head as the woman''s cold, prismatic eyes scanned the place. The woman was like a goddess scowling at the mortals for being weak. However, the woman wasn''t the thing that shocked her. No, it was but a mere appetizer. What shocked her was the deep, DEEP, hollow of a crater in the place where her "murderers" were supposed to be and that all of her injuries were healed! ''What type of magic control does one need to have to pull off a spell this delicate and deadly?! Surely, a spell this destructive should have made some sort of sound but. . .I didn''t even hear a sound! All of my injuries were instantly healed too! Even if [Instant Heal] can heal all wounds, even regrow a limb, it needs time and a warm feeling should be felt! Perhaps a better version was invented? But that can''t be possible! The time and effort it must take to-'' " Are you okay? ", Liliana''s mind snapped back to reality, courtesy of the melodic voice asking for her well-being. She took a while to compose herself as she stood up. "Yes, thank you for asking. If I may ask, did you see the one that did this?" The woman grimaced and looked like she was barely holding back something. But, she signed. " I am. ", the words left by the woman was short but it replayed inside Liliana''s head. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ''Merlin''s sack of balls!'' Liliana''s body dropped in shock as she fainted. Chapter 2:The VoidLords Descent II The Lost Forest, 3''rd POV ''What am I supposed to do with this?'' Lilith, the Great Voidlord, pondered hardly for the first time in her new reincarnated life. She looked over the laying form of the woman in front of her. Her beauty was exquisite. Long white lashes, luxurious white hair and ruby red eyes (Before she fainted, Lilith saw it). Her body was. . .explosive, and could make dynasties fall. The beautiful woman in front of her looked like a fairy princess sleeping away from the mortal realm. But, Lilith wasn''t fooled or stunned by her beauty due to a passive and a disadvantage of the class [VoidLord] in which was most of her emotions were locked away. One of them happened to be lust. The raven headed beauty looked once more at the fellow snow haired beauty. Lilith knew the woman was a princess since she had already used [Mind Sight] on her. It was a skill that allowed the user to peek and extract at the mind of a lower levelled opponent. ''Liliana Isabella GoodHeart. 18 years old. The only princess to a kingdom of "holy" knights and mages. A warrior kingdom, in general. Otherwise known as the GoodHeart Kingdom. Framed and used, she was exiled.'' She softly sighned from the information. The woman or, Liliana turned out to be a princess, much to her dismay. ''I hate it when I''m right. Guess I''ll get this over with.'' she thought with a scowl. Lilith walked over towards the fallen princess and intoned a healing spell, "Haa~ Get up. [The Lord''s Grace]". A golden sheen of energy blanketed the sleeping princess''s body. Almost instantly, she heard a moan come out of Liliana''s mouth. She watched as the fair beauty''s eyes fluttered opened, revealing her confusion. "Yo. You okay?", she said softly, sitting on a wooden stump she had created. The fallen princess''s eyes shot towards the cause of her shock as her memory slowly returned back to her. They stared at each other for a while, Lilith not wanting to start a conversation and Liliana assessing her. "....." "....." " [Phoenix''s Pur-] " " Okay. That''s enough. ", Liliana''s spell was cut off mid way as an elemental vine of nature was tightly clasped against her mouth. ''She didn''t even chant! No, more importantly, she didn''t even move!'' She stuggled valiantly against the vine but her efforts were futile. This was a construct of the VoidLord, a being that surpassed true death and time after all. Even a demonlord-class being would have troubles tearing it apart. Lilith stood up from the wooden stump, and closed her eyes, dumb- founding the restrained princess. Her body started to float up, her toes separating it''s contact with mother nature. The outlines of her body started to glow void black, devouring the warmth of the morning sun as red lightning arced across her body. Her war dress and black hair flapped against the wind. "Ugh!", Liliana grunted as the gravity suddenly increased and forced her to kneel. ''Wh-What''s going on?! Gravity magic?!'' her mind was tangled in a mess, panic settling in her heart. The gravity increased the more Lilith ascended to the heavens. Everything around her, be it debris or trees were slowly hovering in the air as demonic, black flame licked the tips of the products of nature, demanding it''s payback for providing it with life and warmth. A symbol etched itself into Lilith''s forehead. The symbol was a red triangle with 3 smaller cursed symbols inside it that symbolised the three forces of creation, light, warmth and nature. The colour remained black until blood started to trickle out from the symbol and down into Lilith''s closed eyes. The moment Lilith stopped ascending, all of the phenomenons stopped. The air, black flame, gravity, wind stopped. It seemed as if time itself had stopped. You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story. Out of nowhere, a throne suddenly appeared out of nowhere behind the maleficient VoidLord. ''What in the holy name of Terra is that?!'', Liliana''s mind descended into chaos as her eyes laid sight at the throne. The throne was unlike anything the mortal princess has ever seen. A phanthom creation, something that looked like it would break once you sit on it yet, it exuded dominace unlike anything she had ever seen! Futhermore, she saw the creation and destruction of countless universes in it. Titanic Monsters that ate worlds, Purebred universal saviours, Great Collapses. ''It, no, That thing shouldn''t and cannot exist!'' The fallen princess''s eyes started to bleed as her mind failed to comprehend how such an impossible thing existed. Meanwhile, Lilith gracefully sat on her throne as her eyes suddenly shot open. Prismatic colours that looked down on everything like an almighty being tired and bored of creation. Despite the time freezing, Liliana heard a song so beautiful and happy, she wanted to cry in tears of joy. The song was sung in a language she''d never heard before, but she could infer one thing from it. It was a praise to the being in front of her. They were happy that their saviour and King had finally reclaim them. The pressure suddenly increased. Liliana''s mind entered a sense of depravity and guilt as she mumbled incessantly, asking for forgiveness. Her body was wrenched in cold sweat as she desperately gasped for air. She was afraid and shocked at how such an existance was alive and escaped the thousands of realms''s notice. Her mind tried to come out with countless theories but all of them were dismissed. However, one thing she was sure was that if this being was allowed free movement and was angered in someway, all of Terra and the worlds beyond would be screwed. No, that would be an understatement. They''d be all fucked. "Tell me, mortal. What made you think you were worthy to attack me?", Lilith asked, her voice dripping with power. She lowered the pressure, just enough to allow Liliana to talk. " Hih! Pl-Please! Mercy! ", Liliana begged, tears and hope trickling out of her eyes. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . The place was silent before the gravity suddenly increased again. "Answer my question, mortal.", Lilith crossed her legs, and relaxed her head on her right fist. Her prismatic eyes glowed with further intensity, waiting to call judgement upon the foolish mortal Liliana almost fainted at the pressure but managed to let out words." Pl-Please! If you need be, kill me! Please dont lead a path of carnage, o'' almighty destroyer! " The almighty destroyer calmly looked over the trembling figure of the fallen maiden beneath her. ''This is ridiculous. There''s nothing more to gain from this.'' "You''ve wronged me, mortal. I am no destroyer. I''m just someone who seeks entertainment. ", Lilith said, the authority in her voice vanishing midway in her sentence as she returned to her normal form. The throne dissapeared as she slowly descended towards the earth like a loving goddess ready to spoil her children. Time resumed. The Sun''s carresing warmth returned. Nature went back to normal. And more importantly, for Liliana no more angry destroyer to worry about. "You don''t need to worry anymore. I won''t hurt you as long as you don''t hurt me.", the once cold, destroyer whipered into the maiden''s ears as she cried into Liliana''s bossom. ''You were too harsh on her. Just because your past mother tortured you doesn''t mean you have to snap at every attack.'' Lilith''s mind nagged at her. It was true. Lilith''s past life was unfortunate. She had an abusive mother that enjoyed torturing her, both mentally and physically. It caused her to have a sort of retaliation mechanism against anyone who wanted to hurt her, thus the current predicament. Thank god, she had a loving father that cared and nurtured her though. If she hadn''t, who knew if she could have the life she had. ''Despite having beyond-god stats, it seems I still carried over some of my human traits from my past life.'' The raven-haired woman scratched her left cheek. It was to be expected as Lilith was Mark and Mark was Lilith. Both of them were the same person, two lives, two different yet similar life expierence. Meaning Mark''s traits were Lilith''s traiths as well. Liliana, the fallen princess of GoodHeart Kingdom soon stopped crying, and settled with just sniffling. She couldn''t believe she had just cried into the bossoms of the one who had caused her so much humiliation. Her face adopted the colour of a tomato. If her kindgom knew it, she would have been the kingdom''s clown. As soon as she thought this, she felt a pang in her heart. Liliana Isabella Goodheart was no longer a princess. She was now and would probably forever be an exile. Lilith''s senses caught onto the distraught maiden in her caress. She gently moved her index finger and swiped the tear that rolling down the fallen princesa''s cheek. Liliana looked up into the gentle, loving prismatic eyes of her (should have been) destroyer. She saw no traces of the fury, and coldness that was in them before. Instead, she saw an adorable smile on the destroyer''s face. "I won''t hurt you anymore. Also, Sorry about that. I won''t do it again. ", Lilith giggled, the chiming of heavenly bells accompanying her voice. Her mood had done a complete 360 but Liliana quite like the change. In fact, she thought it was cute. Not noticing what she had just caused, Lilith got up and dusted away her clothes, Liliana copying her actions. Once they both got up, Lilith reached her hand out in a handshake and grinned. " Nice to meet you. My name is Lilith, a woman that is on a search for the greatest entertainments. ", she introduced herself. ". . . ." ". . . ." ". .Hello? Terra to Liliana. Are you there?", Lilith waved her hands in front of the Goodheart''s face. No response was given. Thinking of a good idea, Lilith infused her fingers with wind magic and snapped them in front of the stunned princess''s face. A loud boom and the shockwave that followed woke Liliana up. She instantly introduced herself in a state of shock. "Y-Yes! My name is Liliana Isabella GoodParts! I mean, Goodheart! 20 years old, single! " Realising her mishap in her words, she blushed whereas Lilith went into a state of giggles. It was too funny for her. The shocked face Liliana had, the stutter and her mispronouciation of her own name. ''GoodParts! Pfft,'' Lilith continued to laugh her brains out. This was good entertainment for her. After calming down for a bit, Lilith exchanged pleasantries. " Nice to meet you, Liliana. I''ll be counting on you on our journey. " Liliana came down from her blush as she returned it back with a smile. " Nice to meet you too. " They both stared at each other for a while until Liliana realised something her newfound friend had just told her. " Wait. A Journey?! ", she screamed at the top of her lungs. They had just met a few moments ago and now they were going on a journey together? Blasphemous! Just as she thought of rebuttling and rejecting the demand, Lilith butted in. " Yup. A Journey. You won''t say no, right? You''re my first friend after all." The words that came out sounded sweet but the rising pressure and the dangerous smile sure wasn''t! ''Y-You''re kiddinggg!'' Liliana cursed the heavens for entertwining their fates together. It seems as if the life of Liliana, the fallen princess, had just taken a wild turn.
