 Chapter 1 - Yuen

    I awoke to find a desolate and barren desert. The sun hanging overhead. My mouth was dry but I felt no hunger. A thirst, but oddly, not for water or any other refreshing beverage I could place.


    ¡®Where am I? Wait, more importantly, who am I again?¡¯

    I take a moment to look at what I¡¯m wearing. Gray and black shoes, slim-tapered dark blue jeans, a gray shirt and dark brown leather jacket. A plain looking watch on my left wrist. Naturally, looking to see the exact time, I see...nothing?


    ¡®There¡¯s nothing beneath the glass casing on my watch? No numbers, ticks, indentations...just...nothing?¡¯

    A warmth suddenly fills my entire being. My mind feels like a fog is being lifted from it.

 Chapter 2 -Time

    ¡®Wow...I nearly forgot who I am and what I was doing here. My first understanding and reaction to time and this happens. Makes me concerned about what could happen in the future.


    Smiling to myself, I scan my surroundings once again.


    ¡°Mark, your inquiry has been resolved. You now have an understanding of what it is that pyramid structure is.¡±


    ¡°Thank you Yuen, quick as always.¡±

    A short distance away, a light was growing with an incredible brilliance. Almost as soon the light started to grow however, it had already begun to fade, and in its place, a small fairy like creature appeared. Small translucent wings, she displayed the appearance of a celestial. Cream white slippers and cascading dress, her wavy brilliant blonde hair laid down just past her neck. With gorgeous green eyes, and soft, almost childlike facial features, she immediately turned her attention to the man now in front of her.


    Medium length dark brown hair, sharp hazel eyes, a slightly scruffy masculine face and a well taken care of body. With a posture and countenance that denotes confidence and a clear emotional state.


    ¡°Hey Fen, when your done glowing could you give me that shoulder rub you promised? I just nearly lost sight of my own existence with time being all of what it is. Anyway, if you could get started asap it would be appreciated.¡±

 Chapter 3 - Mind

    ¡°Incredible. You go out for the first time since Meras¡¯ disappearance, seemingly on a whim, then call Yuen for assistance, and ask for me so I can give you a shoulder rub? Seriously?¡±


    ¡°Haha you know me too well Fen, if you could give me a scalp massage too that would be great!¡±


    ¡°You¡­¡±


    ¡°I¡¯m just teasing, although by all means I¡¯d love the shoulder rub at least, you haven¡¯t given me one in what seems like forever.¡±


    ¡°Haah, what did you really call me for then?¡±


    ¡°I¡¯m headed over to meet who I suspect is Ramesses II aka Ozymandias and thought you¡¯d like to come along.¡±

I understand the potential difficulty but Meras did inform me of a few pieces of secret knowledge before she left. After all how could I be standing here if not for it? Honestly, I called you here more for the company than for anything else.¡±


    Eyeing him closely for a moment.


    ¡°Alright, I¡¯ll go with you. You know, the consequences for this could be quite severe, you¡¯re prepared for this I assume?¡±


    ¡°Of course, we¡¯ll just be in and out.¡±


    ¡®Ugh, Isn¡¯t that just another way for him to say that¡¯s what¡¯s absolutely not going to be happening.¡¯

 Chapter 4 - Bend

    Fen having made up her mind, took a seat on Marks shoulder, having taken a moment to prepare mentally for the unforeseeable events to come.


    ¡°Alright let¡¯s get going then.¡±


    With a mere thought on his part, they instantly shift locations to just outside the throne room inside the pyramid. Despite this, there were no guards.

    All whilst talking giving her one of his signature charming smiles. Looking every bit the image of an upright, courageous, and honorable person she knows he¡¯s not.


    Squinting her eyes slightly she says, ¡°like I said, what is it this time?¡±

 Chapter 5 - Meet

    Ozymandias was in great spirits. The creation of his newest structure had been externally completed. His gloriously golden pyramid was coming closer and closer to meeting its intended purpose. If Ozy had to be honest with himself though, he enjoyed the creation of a new structure, perhaps more than seeing its totally final form. So, as this wonderful structure was still in the process of being finished, he felt a sort of ecstasy he¡¯s only able to feel from looking at and being in a new structure.


    ¡°Truly wonderful.¡±


    Ozy, looking at the exterior of the pyramid found it to be just as he envisioned, magnificent. A pyramid certainly, but one of pure gold, with each corner being pointed toward another of his grand projects regardless of distance. Of course, there is the pyramidion. The tip of the pyramid, pointed directly at the sun. He considers his reign to be one where he is ordained of the sun. The Sun God.     Nefertari, named by him to be ¡®the one for whom the sun shines¡¯ had unfortunately been unable to come at the recent completion of the exterior. She had a prior engagement with Isetnofret, another of his great wives that HAD been able to come just recently, albeit just before the exteriors completion. They had apparently been conscripted into service by another of the ¡®Mythos Agrandir.¡¯


    Deciding to immediately shift his attention to the throne room he heads inside. Through the immaculate sheen of gold embracing all those who would enter he finds himself inside the throne room. The one true place he can feel peace. Looking straight up he can see the sun. Despite a tip having been placed, the throne room enabled him to see all his domain as he would see fit, regardless of ¡®distance.¡¯ A truly remarkable facet only provided by this new structure.


    It was at this time however, that his life would forever change.
