Despite this fight only going on for 10 minutes the noob has only taken 200 points of damage and the pro has taken 250 points. The noob hasn''t taken a single point of damage from the 6-minute mark on this fight. Despite the noob player only having a dagger he has been blocking and dodging all the attacks from the pro."


    Ace: "I''m going to end this here and now I''ve had enough fun in this fight"


    Announcer: "Ohh as we can see the noob player is even taunting the M.O.C. how does he think he can get away with this"


    *the crowd blaring loud*


    Announcer: "Look as Ace uses shadow step to close the gap between him and MOC. MOC blocks his attack with his sword but Ace dodges the counter attack from MOC. THIS FIGHT IS INSAINE. Both players are at half health and are diligently trying to win. MOC goes for a charging swipe attack... WHATS this Ace dodges it by sliding under it. Ace uses shadow step into a back grapple then into a leg lock all while attacking MOC with his dagger. MOC is now at 10 health what will he do. look at this, MOC uses flash center to blind Ace then he uses fast heal to heal his wounds."You could be reading stolen content.     *everyone''s mouth drops when Ace uses a back stab on MOC*


    Announcer: " Whats this how did he get behind MOC how did this happen. lets play that back on instant replay."

    Ace uses shadow step to get a flying momentum back step to not get affected by the blinding flash of MOC. He then flies over MOC to get behind him as he starts to heal Ace then back stabs him.


    Ace: "Told you i was gonna end it"


    Announcer: "I cant believe this. how did Ace do such a difficult move that even the pros have trouble doing."


    *crowd cheering louder than before*


    *Ace starts to walk off the stage*


    Ace: "Never disrespect one of my teammates like that ever again or i will humiliate you even worse than i just did."


    Ace being only level 27 defeated a pro that has been playing the game for 7 years and has been playing on a pro team for 4 of those years. Ace being a demon character with a tail and small horns with dark hair. Wearing grass field boar leather armor that is red and black.

    Britney: HeyLeo check out this game. I understand you don''t like video games but just look this is a pro player in a championship for a cash prize.


    Leo: ugh I told you that I don''t like video games why do you insist on trying to get me to play them.


    Britney: and I''ve told you that it''s more than just playing it takes skill and strategy. I understand you like chess but that''s such an old game and I know how you like strategy based things.


    Leo: what kind of strategy does it take to play a video game.


    Britney: it''s not just to play it you need strategy its that if you want to be known as the best you have to have some type of strategy from what you will do, what skills you have, and how will you align skills, attacks, and defence to win.


    Leo: I guess I''ll check it out.


    Britney: ok good and do you want me to help you at all I can give you basic armour I have.


    Leo: yeah sure but let me play it for a bit to understand the way the physics work and how the fighting mechanic is.


    Britney: ok then Leo just messageme and let me know when you need some help.


    Leo: ok I will.

    Leo leaves and heads to his fourth-period class where he sits down with people throwing paper balls around the room and people talking loudly. out of the corner of the room he hears a conversation about L.O.A. they seem to be talking about a hidden cave for advanced players near the beginnerarea of the game. when someone slams on his desk and starts calling him names and bullying him. when the teacher walks into the class and disciplines the rude students that were throwing stuff. Leo hurries up his class work to finish before the bell of the next class. as Leo is walking out of the classroom he is shoved to the ground and made fun of. one student came to help him get up off the ground by picking up Leo''s stuff and handing it to him. this student is one of the ones that were talking in the back of the class about the cave.


    Leo: thanks but you didn''thave to help me you know that right.


    Blake: yeah I know but if I didn''twho would have.


    Leo: no one would have but it would have been easier for you to walk past without worrying


    Blake: yeah but that would be missing out of making a friend... I understand that you like strategygames I can tell from the championship chess shirt you have on.


    Leo: yeah


    *Leo slightly smiles*


    Leo: so I heard you talking about the MMORPG game earlier.


    Blake: oh yeah..wait do you play it? I could use someone in the team to help with quests.


    Leo: I''ll join you but I need to actually get the game and get used to the way it works.


    Blake: wait you haven''tplayed it?


    Leo: nopewell not yet at least I was planning to after school.


    Blake: that''sgreat let me know if you need any help at all and ill come and carry you.


    *Blake chuckles a little*


    Leo: actually could you let me know where that cave u were talking about earlier.


    they talk about how to get to the cave from the starting area. they chat while going to their fifth-period class and work together to get their class work done so they can continue to talk about the game. the rest of the day goes on and when Leo makes it home he gets the game and creates his character, and begins in the world.

 A New Character is Made

    Leo: "hmm what''s the difference between the races?"


    Leo: *messages Britney* hey... by any chancecan you tell me what the difference between the races does? like do they have a difference between them or do they not matter?


    Britney: *Messages Leo* "if you read their backstory it explains the abilities kinda vaguely like, for instance, the dark elf has the natural affinity for dark magic which means they can use and learn dark magic at lower levels but they learn basic magic at a much higher level than theother races. Another example is the animal people they tend to have a natural ability compared to their animal so a tiger has a bite attack that has an ability of shredding and can cause bleeding damage. so if you read their backstory you can get a hint of what they are capableof. "


    Leo: "thanks Britney"


    Britney: "yeah no problem just message me if you need any more help"


    Leo: "ok I will"


    Leo: *thinking* [hmm lets see,so thedark elf resides in the burnt forest of Lamarantwhere they fought the high elves and the dryads. the war came to an end when the dark elves didn''thave any forces to fight back against the armies of elves so it''s a rare sight to see one. CLASS DIFFICULTY: HIGH]


    Leo reads throughthe back stories of the races when he comes across the demon race


    Leo: *reads out loud* "the demons are a race that appeared out of nowhere and settled in a conquered city that they took over by force. the city used to go by the name of Tabit. the demons seem to be very diverse in all attributes although their features dictate how they battle. the demon race is powerful in a group but alone they can be easilydestroyed in a battle. hmm so the demon race has a natural battle sense and its abilities are boosted in a group. they seem to have a high forward movement in battle and their play style depends on how you design the player. so a player with long arms and legs have a heightened amount of reach and if they are masculine they have a higher strength which means their attack is higher but they move slower. so if you change the hight of the demon some abilities are locked but more open up." *Leo picks the demon race* "lets see what happens if you increase the stealth stat" it opens more skills to use such as shadow walk, silent step, and if the stealth stat is maxed an ability called sound void this ability takes all sound away from movement and doesn''tshow footprints."


    *Leo looks at his alarm clock and realizes it is 12:01 am and he needs to go to school at 6:30 am*


    Leo: "ah crap I got to get myhomework done and go to school in6 hours... wait most of my work is done all I have to do is highlight this article."


    *Leo goes to sleep at 2:30 am*


    *5:30 pm Leo logs onto L.O.A.*


    Britney: "are you ok Leo. I heard they shoved you to the floor again today."


    Leo: "yeah I''mfine don''t worry I am online now and ready to get started on L.O.A."The author''s tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.


    Britney: "are you sure you''re fine they do that every week."


    Leo: "yes I''msure I''mfine it''s not even like it hurts it''s just annoying that they do it but it doesn''t bother me though."


    Britney: "ok then"


    Leo creates his character and continues to load into the game. it spawns him in the starting town that his race is and the game gives him a starter quest.


    Quest: "go meet this person: his name is Princeton, located by the forge of Brnyern''s blacksmithing. he needs to meet you and welcome you to the town ofbrackof"


    The town is decrepit and the sky is dark with a slight crimson hue in the distance. You can''t see the sun but you can see a dark red circle in the sky where it is presumed to be. The people around this area look like they are also new but there are also npc''s that look similar to the players but they have a slight glow around them.


    Leo: *thinking out loud* hmm so it seems the players have chosen completely different paths from one another. also from the looks of it it seems when you first spawn it''s in the home town of the race you picked. *Leo then goes and does the first quest*


    Princeton: Hello newcomer I see you have come from the void so what''s your name.


    a text box pops up and it asks for the characters first and family name then name you would like to beknown as


    Leo: "hmm" *types Ace and Fato then in the other box he put Ace*


    Princeton: nice name and from the Fato family don''t let me down Ace. I have a quest for you, I need you to go and get some armour and a weapon from inside. Oh and before you go welcome to the town.


    quest: "go meet this person: his name isBrnyern. tell himPrinceton told him to get some gear.


    Leo: goes inside and talks toBrnyern.


    Brnyern: "Oh hello there"


    Ace: "hey, Princeton told me I needed to get some gear from you"


    Brnyern: "oh is that so, hmm let me see if I have anything that will fit you if not then I''ll have to make it. lets see here...hmm so that won''t work. yeah so I don''t think I have anything that will fit you so ill have to make something for you, but from the looks of you it doesn''t seem like you have any strength so here''s a dagger so that you can somewhat protect yourself while I make you some armour. boy don''t get yourself killed or else the armour will go to waste."


    Ace: "Of course sir i don''t plan on getting killed."


    Brnyern: "ok good you can go now."


    Ace leaves the house and heads on to the forest where he then starts to level up from killing the rats located around the town until a demonic-rat comes out and Ace then struggles to kill the rats as his health begins to drop. after Ace kills one more rat he levels up and he regains all stats back as they are set to max ace then get some skill points and falls back out of attacking range of the demonic-rat and he puts 2 of the 6 points into strength and 3 into stamina than the last one into agility. he then puts his skill points in. he has 2, he puts one in to block than the other point into slash


    skill description: Slash, is a skill that the user dashes forward and attacks all enemies in and next to the user as they dash forward.


    Leo: *gritting his teeth* "I can''t die I have to hurry before they start to attack me."


    Ace then uses dash to attack 5 rats at once which killed the demonic-rat and damaged the others for more thanhalf health. the skill has a 5-sec cooldown so Ace starts running around the rats waiting for the cooldown to go down then dashed again which killed the rest of the rats and Ace got another level up.


    Leo: "already another level up."


    the demonic-rat gave almost 5 times the exp as the normal rats. Leo puts the experience points into Ace''s skills and abilities. He puts 5 points intoagility and 1 point into endurance. he now has 2 more skill points and he puts one into blocking as the higher the skill level is the more effective that skill is. the blocking skill can now block heavier weapons with little knockback. the other skill point went into a new skill called shadow step. which allowed the user to dash completely invisible this skill doesn''t deal damage but negates all damage coming in while invisible.
