So God said ¡°Ok choose a system you want.¡± ¡°Ok what do I get to choose from?¡± I replied inquisitively. ¡°Anything.¡± he said calmly with a straight face. Struggling to contain myself (as I was excited from my years of watching anime) I immediately said ¡°Dragon Ball System.¡± I wanted this system because Dragon Ball is one of my favourite anime and I can get OP using this system ( also I didn¡¯t want a system that¡¯s too OP because being OP straight away is too boring). ¡°Ok any specific way you want it?¡± God inquired. ¡°Yes ,I want it to able to talk think, skills(kamehameha, fly ,wolf fang fist etc), modes(KKx1,Great Ape,SSJ etc), DBP(Dragon Ball points to exchange for skills and modes), Power Levels, the Dragon Balls (attainable by a lot of DBP) and quests that you can gain DBP from completing.¡± ¡°Ok and what do you want your body to be like." ¡°16 year old, not able to get diseased, Bruce Lee figure -apart from height- 6¡¯0 and room to grow a little also 7 inch and 8 when in the mood black hair, handsome and smooth skin." ¡°Ok clothing and race?" ¡°A yellow Gi and a Saiyan with a tail Oh and that reminds me I¡¯d like full control of the Great Ape grade 1 transformation please. My body felt lighter and looked awesome as well as my yellow Gi. Also I had all the knowledge I needed to use the skills I had requested from god, it was like the way to use them all just appeared i my head. Just as I was taking in my surroundings and appreciating my them I suddenly heard a bang. Then simultaneously a female voice talked in my head and a screen popped up in front of me, the female voice read out what was on the screen. ¡®Starter Quest defeat the army of Ogres and goblins threatening the village!¡¯ Rewards:2,500 DBP Chapter 1- The Starter Quest Chapter 1 When I saw this I got so hyped up and my face light up, I immediately said ¡°I accept¡±. After this I flew up in the air to try and see if I could find any signs of civilization or a village. I wanted to stop and appreciate how cool I was for flying and everything, a bit more, but I didn¡¯t have time for that now I had a village to save. Anyway after a few seconds I saw it; there was about 20 ogres and 10 goblins charging towards an unsuspecting village to my East. I wanted to baddass and save them all with ease, but I¡¯m not stupid, I landed on a tree near the army of foul-stenching, mouth-breathing beasts. The village was surrounded by a small fence and there was a long grass clearing leading up to the village¡¯s front gate with forest on either side. The ogres were standing tall probably at around 8¡¯0 most of them were armed with 4¡¯0 clubs however, others just had their bare hands but that was still enough to kill a man (or two). The ogres had dark yellow skin, a shell like thing covering their shoulders and the top of their back (that was bumpy) and a loincloth covering their waist. On the other hand the goblins were 3¡¯0-4¡¯0 with pointy ears, green skin and a beer belly (fat but not very). The strongest ogre had a power level of [50] whereas the weakest had one of [35] (while the others were somewhere in the middle). In contrast the goblins power levels ranged from [12-17]. After assessing the situation I couldn¡¯t wait to show off to the villagers however, as I was daydreaming I noticed in the corner of my eye a stray ogre with a power level of [47] charging towards a fleeing light brown haired, busty,young woman who had previously been out picking berries before she spotted the army bringing impending doom to her home. Seeing this I thought ¡®Yes! A damsel in distress situation!¡¯ however I quickly flew over to my first prey. When I was in front of the ogre who dared to scare this beautiful masterpiece of a woman I opened my palm, aimed at the beasts head and shouted ¡°Ki Blast.¡± To this a ball of red Ki ( I had asked god to make my Ki red) shot out of my hand and the ogres head exploded, it¡¯s headless body fell to the floor and bled out. Wary but grateful the woman (who had fallen over due to fear) asked ¡°W-was that magic?¡± I replied with ¡°No, look all you need to know is I am strong and I¡¯m going to beat the crap out of this mismatched, poor copy of an army, however I would like some compensation.¡± I said with my thumb under my chin and finger on it. ¡°Of course our village will over whatever we can.¡± She said while still a bit scared. In response to this I shook my head profusely and after a few seconds I lightly hit my cupped left hand with my right and said. ¡°Yosh! I got it if I manage to beat all of these single handedly you will be my wife?¡± I asked trying to but my most handsome face on. In response to this she blushed, smiled and cupped her cheek with her hand. ¡®Perfect Reaction!¡¯ I silently thought to myself. However she said nothing so I decided to speak ¡°What¡¯s the matter you don¡¯t like me? It¡¯s ok if that¡¯s the case because I¡¯m not going to force you to do anything.¡± She looked up and replied with ¡°No it¡¯s not that I¡¯m just surprised that¡¯s all.¡± ¡°Why? You¡¯re extremely beautiful and I can¡¯t think of anyone who wouldn¡¯t want marry you.¡± She blushed yet again and I, once more silently celebrated at the sight of this reaction. Suddenly she jumped to her feet and with a determined look on her face and said ¡°Ok I, Rose Allen hereby swear that if you single-handedly defeat this riff-raff then I will become your wife and love you forever!¡± Surprised by hearing but not letting it show I got down on one knee, took her hand in mine gently and said This story is posted elsewhere by the author. With my back turned to her I then said to Rose, ¡°Though first I must dispose of these vile beasts who dare to defile my wife¡¯s home.¡± Then I motioned for Rose do return to the village and she did so. As I was running head on into the crowd of angry monsters I thought to myself ¡®So cool, it¡¯s like I took it directly from an anime.¡¯ Snapping out of that thought and bringing myself back to reality. I flew up into the air (because I couldn¡¯t take them all on at once) and watched as they desperately tried to grab me. Then I lowered myself above the strongest while frantically avoiding the others¡¯ hands and kicked him in the face. Then I landed in front of them and just as the group were about to run at me a loud, thunderous roar from the strongest stopped them. He then made his way through the crowd with a furious look on his face and wiping a little bit of blood from the corner of his mouth. When he was in front of me I jumped so that my hands were equal to his face and screamed ¡°Wolf Fang Fist!¡± After landing I inspected is face and to my surprise he had two black eyes forming and he was bleeding from his mouth and nose. It did more damage than I thought (not bad Yamcha). This inspection took less than a second and after I was done I opened my palm and aimed it at his stomach.Then I yelled ¡°Ki Blast!¡± Due to it being at point-blank range it went straight through his stomach to the point where his intestines were leaking out and his eyes turned lifeless as he collapsed with a thud. By this time Rose had gathered the villagers (apart from the children) to witness my awesomeness and they were all standing there in awe of my easy win. As much as I would¡¯ve liked to gloat, I instead decided to carry on fighting. So I turned my attention back to the group of monsters and I ran straight up to a goblin and punched him so hard he died instantly with a fist imprint on his face. As the ogres were still standing back in shock the other 9 goblins rn to me in a latch ditch effort and a blind rage. I ducked all their attacks and some of them knocked each other out. Now there were three left two of them were at my sides and so I yelled ¡°Ki Blast!¡±x2 To this both goblins died. The other one was behind me so immediately turned around and shouted ¡°Wolf Fang Fist!¡± Which was also an insta-kill. Next where the ogres but even if I had defeated two of them there were still 28 left. So once again I flew up into the air and I yelled again, but I yelled something different this time. ¡°Kaioken Times One!¡± My body was now covered was now in a spiky red aura from head to toe. My body felt lighter and I felt a surge of power. My power level was probably somewhere around [150]. I began one-shotting the ogres ruthlessly. There was now 10 left and I was on the ground quite tired, two of them ran at me and I managed to dispose of them with normal martial arts. However there was still 8 left and I was panting. T he ogres saw this and all of charged at me. While it was a commendable strategy ,especially for a bunch of stupid ogres, it wasn¡¯t enough to take me out. I kicked one in the face and knocked it out instantly. However there were still seven left. So I flew up. I then flew into the forest to make them chase me, which they did. I made one of them chase me and knock itself out with a boulder. Another one was killed by me luring them into a pack of vicious wolf-type monsters. While doing this got two of them of my back the others just got angrier. So I decided to face the 5 that were left one of them was killed by a Ki Blast to the face, another two by a Wolf Fang Fist to the face each. After this the other two charged at, me club in hand, blindly and filled with rage. In response to this I jumped to the side, tripped one and stole his club then I bashed his head in. The other one went for a downwards vertical strike but this left his stomach open and swung like a baseball player and as hard as I could and he coughed up blood then to make sure he was dead I swung at his head as he was knocked out on the floor. Then I began to make my way back to the village to meet Rose and brag about my success but just as I was doing so I collapsed from exhaustion.. Chapter 2- Waking Up Chapter 2 When I awoke, the first thing I saw was a wooden roof. I was lying on a bed with white sheets, a fairly comfortable white pillow and a semi-comfortable mattress. I woke up to the sound of birds, cattle, sheep and a blue sky and decided to take a few moments of bliss to soak it all in. As I was doing so, facing the roof I, then realised that my battle wasn¡¯t finished. I had knocked the majority of the goblins and a few ogres I needed to finish them off. Quickly, I swung my legs sideways to the floor and tried to get up. Yet just as I tried I was stopped by a sharp pain in my the side of my lower abdomen. It was like a thousand knives were stabbing me in that one spot. However I had an idea of what to do. ¡°System?¡± I asked ¡°Yes Host?¡± the System replied inquisitively inside my head. ¡°Is there any way to speed up my healing process?¡± ¡°Yes, you can buy a healing Ki skill for 1000 DBP that can heal almost anything (except fatal injuries) or you can buy Senzu Beans for 200 DBP each.¡± ¡°Senzu Beans!¡± I yelled with a bit of excitement in my voice ¡°Of course they¡¯re in the category that God added called ¡®Equipment¡¯.¡± ¡°God added a category?¡± I yelled, while being very surprised. ¡°Yes.¡± The system responded emotionlessly and unwavering. ¡°Ya know he¡¯s a lot less of a dick than I thought.¡± As I said this a dignified and domineering voice said. ¡°You thought I was a DICK!?¡± Instantly I recognised it as god. ¡°Yeah I mean: poverty, torture, malnourishment, do I need to go on?¡± I said confidently. Then I was shut down. ¡°Look, not even I can comprehend a lot of it but the basics are that existence or the universe or whoever/whatever is above me does not allow me to directly intervene with the world or its inhabitants.I know you might me mad at me because of your past but-.¡± ¡°Never talk about my past again or I will kill you.¡± ¡°But I¡¯m God you ca-.¡± ¡°I can and I will; I don¡¯t know when or how but I will I¡¯ll ascend to god k,i or higher, or whatever it takes to kill you I will do it.¡± ¡°O-ok.¡± God stuttered a she replied to me. Now, I would usually love to excessively brag but I was way to angry and in to much pain to even move nevermind argue with god. ¡°Now what does the ¡®Equipment¡¯ category consist of?¡± I asked trying to learn more about my system and source of my power that I rely on to survive in this world. ¡°Well it¡¯s got; the dragon balls (10,000DBP), the namekian dragon balls (20,000DBP), the super dragon balls 1000,000DBP,power scouter 5DBP, clothes (any) 3 DBP, clothes (durable enough to not get destroyed by anything short of world-ending),food (any)1DBP, saibamen 200DBP, water 1DBP and of course senzu beans for 200DBP each. ¡°Those clothes make you invincible but they¡¯re only 100 DBP each?!¡± I said confused and shocked. ¡°No, the clothes are indestructible but you can still get hurt, just that the clothes can¡¯t get damaged.¡± If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. ¡°Ah I see that does make more sense then an extremely cheap cheat to near-indestructibility.¡± ¡°Yeah it does, now what do you want to do?¡± ¡°Well first off, I want to buy five senzu beans please.¡± ¡°Ok, system?¡± ¡°Yes God?¡± ¡°Your host would like to purchase senzu beans. Will please explain to him how to do so?¡± ¡°Of course it is my job to obey my host¡¯s¡± will to the best my ability, so this will be no problem.¡± So, just like that a blue screen appeared. The screen was entitled ¡®Equipment¡¯, and of course it was filled with all of the items and sentient beings (saibamen) that god had listed in his previous explain of my new category that he had added. After this I tapped on ¡®Senzu Beans¡¯ and then below senzu beans it said ¡®quantity- 1 +¡¯. I, then upped the quantity to 5 and bought them which costed me 1000 of my 2,500DBP. I felt a bit empty and depressed because I spent the majority of my points in an instant and they were just gone. Just as I pressed buy 5 senzu beans in a brown pouch (like they have in the anime to carry around the senzu beans) appeared in my hand in an instant. I immediately opened the bag and there they were the green beans that I had seen many times in one of my favourite animes (too many times to be honest). While dazed, I gazed at the beans inside of the bag for a full minute before I eventually snapped myself out of it and grabbed one. I quickly ate it, it didn¡¯t really taste of anything but I could definitely feel my energy replenishing and my injuries healing. I was thoroughly enjoying this sudden surge of energy and light feeling of my body like I was floating. I then went into the skill section/category since I had felt I was weak even if in the fight I only collapsed of exhaustion and didn¡¯t receive any real injuries. Though I didn¡¯t even have any energy attacks so I felt exposed. When I got to the skill category I pressed on the ¡®kamehameha¡¯ skill for 300DBP, then it came up with ¡®buy? Y/N¡¯ and I obviously pressed on Y. Then information flooded into my head and I know how to form and use the kamehameha. While being extremely excited about my new skill, I then realised that I needed to go and finish off the goblins and ogres that I had left unconscious outside of the village. I quickly got up now that the pain had gone. I ran towards the door and I was a lot faster than before (in my fight with the ogres and goblins). When I opened the door I was relieved to see the village working as normal and no one in my sight wasn¡¯t injured. I started walking around the village, looking for Rose and asking around to see if someone had seen her. Eventually I met someone that said they had seen Rose walking towards the direction of the well with a bucket in her hand. Apparently the well was in the center of the village; so I asked him for directions, to which he gave me them, so I started making my way towards it. When I finally got there, there she was, the most beautiful woman I had seen in my life extracting water from the well. Even doing such a menial task she looked so damn sexy. I snuck up behind her and said ¡°Guess who.¡± In response she said ¡°Nyaa. Aren¡¯t you supposed to cover my eyes when you say that?¡± ¡°Whoops.¡± I said with no emotion or remorse in my voice. You¡¯re probably wondering what I was covering/holding. It was her tits. I¡¯m not going to lie to you and I¡¯m not regretful in any way. After all I¡¯m just a red blooded male. Rose then turned to face me with her smooth beautiful hands around my neck and mine around her waist. ¡°Well, my saviour you finally woke up. Now what?¡± She said temptingly while looking me up and down. That was it, I couldn¡¯t take it anymore, I kissed her and we kissed for roughly about a minute. I was the one who pulled away; I mean we probably would have carried on all day because I could tell she didn¡¯t want it to end. However I had stuff to do I told Rose to gather all the villagers to the front of the village where I would be waiting. When everyone in the village got to the front they all started asking questions and praising me etc, etc. I asked for silence. To which everyone quieted down to listen to what I had to say. My back was turned from them and I raised my arm up in the air, clenched my fist and said ¡°I, Xen King, the wandering martial artist now declare this village as my territory and I because of this I will protect it till the end.¡± Important Note I realised that in the Overlord world there are strong people. However they can''t compare to the strong people in the dragon ball world. That''s why in the first chapter I made the 100,000 power leveled being to rely on. So that is a goal that he has to reach and something that I can kind of build a plot around. Don''t worry though this story is not going to be short and it''s not going to end after the fight with the 100,000 power leveled being. Chapter 3- The Kid Now, obviously they were a bit taken back by my strange name; however they loved the rest of what I said and they immediately erupted into cheers and claps. I was going to straight up steal Ains Ooal Gown from the Overlord MC, but I decided against it because he¡¯s too cool to steal from and I wouldn¡¯t want to do that to him. After everyone eventually calmed down I went over to one person who looked particularly excited. This person was a scruffy looking skinny boy about 5¡¯7 and if I had to guess I would say he was 14. I got talking with this kid and it turns out he idolises me like he wants to be me and worships me. I have to admit it was pretty amusing. Just as I was getting into this I saw Rose out of the corner of my eye walking up to me with an angry look on her face. When she finally got up to me she hit me as hard as she could at the back of my hard. Now, obviously I didn¡¯t feel anything but I decided to do that classic anime moment and rub my head while saying ¡°What was that for?!¡± ¡°For bullying my little brother, and as if that wasn¡¯t bad enough you did it without him even knowing.¡± In response to this, I went wide-eyed and yelled ¡°Your little brother?!¡± So yeah, it turns out the kid who worships me is Rose¡¯s little brother and Rose hit me because she could see me giggling after every sentence. So due to finding out this surprising revelation I immediately apologised to both her oblivious brother and Rose. Then I went on to talk to some other villagers and answer a few questions here and there. Then I realised it had been a few hours and was getting dark so I suggested to Rose that three of us (me, her and her brother whose name I now knew was James) go back to her house. Also, luckily one of the villagers had gone out and killed all of the unconscious monsters with a spear (which was one of the few weapons they actually had) while they were still unconscious and managed to come back unharmed. I was quite happy whenI found this out and I could relax. Another thing is, that it turns out the man who went out and killed them was also the strongest in the village with a power level of [15]. When we got back to the house I had a look around.Obviously I wasn¡¯t expecting much since it wasn¡¯t exactly a rich village, but still, all they had was an old table, 4 chairs, a stack of hay and a bed that was very similar to the one that I woke up on. Rose¡¯s explanation for their similarity was that it was the cheapest one available to them so all the villagers had the same one¡¯s in their houses to save costs. Which I understood due to the village being so small and not that much money. In the morning I noticed that Rose¡¯s brother had a power level of [12]. When I saw this I decided to pull him aside and ask him about it. When I did he told me that he trained every day and did extra farming work and manual labour whenever he could. He told me he did this because his dad (who has now passed away) was his hero and he would do things like this all the time and he wanted to be just like him. His parents were both ex iron level adventurer''s who gave up that life to have Rose and settle down. When they decided that, they moved back to their home village (this one) from E-rantel because they knew it was peaceful and loved it anyway. They grew up there together loved, each other and moved to the city when they were both 17 to make their living as adventurer¡¯s . They knew they could do this because Alexander (the father) had trained in combat his whole life; and Mary (the mother) had an above average talent for learning magic. This made me happy to know that my Rose was from a nice, secure and talented family. Looking at Rose¡¯s little brother I wondered and was impressed that he managed to get his power level to [12]. That must take dedication and that impressed me and I was happy to have a fanboy I¡¯m not gonna lie. It was a great feeling. Then I decided to train him, help him become stronger. My reasons for this are: he will be able to protect Rose when I I¡¯m not there, he can protect the village and he can protect himself which in turn will give Rose peace of mind. I couldn''t have Rose worrying about him all the time because it would get in th eway of my plans. So having made up my mind I said to my fanboy ¡°I¡¯m gonna train you.¡± When I said this James¡¯ face went blank processing what I just said and as he slowly, ever so slowly realised what it was that I said his face lit up and I could have sworn that he jumped a bit as he yelled ecstatically at the top of his lungs ¡°WHAAAAAT?¡± With this anyone who wasn¡¯t already awake in the village definitely was now. Hearing this I smiled widely and chuckled a little. I then turned and put my hand up at the side of my head, just above my shoulder. ¡°Come on, James, let¡¯s go, you¡¯re going to become stronger.¡± I said with a slightly evil smile creeping onto my face and plans slowly brewing in my mind. ¡°Yes master!¡± The 14 year old boy said enthusiastically while following me with his eyes twinkling. Oblivious to my plans. Chapter 4- Training the Kid Before we left the village I went to the group of men who did most of the manual labour in the village known as the workers. When we went they nodded their heads with respect while carrying their work of chopping wood. They would¡¯ve just ignored me and carried on but they knew who I was from a few weeks ago and silently but strongly respected me. After nodding back to a few people I walked up to the man who looked in charge, and as you can probably imagine he was the man with the power level of [15]. When I got to him I asked if he had a spare axe or something anywhere if I could have it. Just as I was going to tell him what it was for he raised his hand to stop me and motioned to on of the other workers. A few minutes later the worker came back with a battered axe however not extremely. I was very grateful and surprised because I knew that they didn¡¯t have many tools at all neve mnd important ones like axes and in this semi-good state as well. I took the axe and nodded my in respect before leaving the village with my young student trailing behind me. As we were walking through the forest I was scanning the surroundings and trying to find a good area for training James. While I was sanning the forest James never took his eyes off me which annoyed me because he was completely ignorant to his surroundings. So, extremely fast, as fast I could I turned around and and clapped as loud as I could to scare him. It worked like a treat he jumped back and froze in his steps and just stared at me. ¡°What do you think your doing?¡± I asked the boy with a less than subtle angry tone in my voice. ¡°W-what do you mean master?¡± James said, still a little shaken from the recent scare. ¡°You¡¯re letting your obsession with me blind you, your following me while taking no note of anything around you.Your being stupid and naive,¡± Now you might be wondering why I¡¯m acting like hardened a battle veteran, but I really like parts of anime where the MC finds a badass teacher who molds the MC into the awesome beast they become. After watching so many of these it just became common sense that: you need to be aware, never underestimate opponents and know your limits. In a fight or to get stronger. Hearing this James suddenly realised I was right and looked disappointed in himself before his face became serious. ¡°Thank you for the advice master I will become more aware and will not let you down!¡± I nodded and then carried on walking with my hand behind my back and James following me but this time he was making sure to be aware of his surroundings. We continued walking for a little while before we came upon a little clearing of trees and I motioned for James to sit down on the grass in front of me. I then held out the axe and he took from me with a smile. ¡°This axe is for collecting wood and killing monsters nothing else. I then made it look like I left but I actually flew up onto a nearby tree branch to observe him. As I watched him, he got up and gathered dried wood and dead grass, as I saw this I thought ¡®Good, obviously growing up in a medieval like world he understands the necessity for fire.¡¯ Within an hour he had started a fire and was doing his best to make sure the smoke didn¡¯t rise too much, as to not draw any unwanted attention from monsters, and was gathering leaves for a makeshift bed. With this he was set up for the night and his first night in the forest went by without a hitch. I was impressed and happy to see that he could make it through the night without a problem. When he woke up he was smiling with a refreshed look on his face as I silently thought to myself ¡®This kid is always happy.¡¯ While almost not believing that a person could be this optimistic, especially an orphan. He got up and started looking around the are of the forest I left him in, I imagine he was familiarising himself with his surroundings. As he was doing this I silently and carefully followed him while moving from branch to branch. He was walking around looking for any signs of monsters or small foods that he knew was sfet to eat: berries, nuts etc. All the while that he was doing this he was being very careful to be alert, showing that he had heeded my advice from the previous day. I imagine that he was looking for a stream or some sort of water source that was safe to drink from, thus ensuring his survival even further. After a little while he eventually found a stream that looked clean enough, but just for safety he decided to boil it anyway. Yet again, displaying his intelligence (for those of you who don¡¯t know, boiling water helps to get rid of any bacteria that might be inside.) So he took some water back to his makeshift camp, boiled it and drank it. Obviously it wasn¡¯t just James¡¯s luck that helped him find that stream, I made sure there was one nearby before telling him to stop and giving him the axe. After he had boiled the water and drank it, he heard a noise come from outside his amp area. He immediately jumped up with his axe in his hand and tried to ready himself for what could be there. Just then, a goblin came from behind a tree with a tiny club in his hands. James got scared a bit, but he calmed himself down quickly before waiting for the goblin to do something, All the time that this was happening, I was scanning the goblins power level to make sure James could take him. If he couldn¡¯t I would just kill it myself. Thankfully though his power level was only [13], as I saw this I let out a sigh of relief. So, I began to make myself comfortable so I could enjoy the oncoming fight. As I suspected the first to make a move was the goblin as it cme charging towards him. James narrowly escaped jumping out of the way. He then got behind the goblin and slammed the sharp bit of his axe into the goblins unsuspecting back. The goblin let out a yell of pain as it flew forward, roughly a metre, James ran after it and brought his axe down on his head as hard as he could. Blood splattered all over his face and James flinched, he obviously hadn¡¯t been around that much blood before, and never had to kill anything. I almosted wanted to clap after seeing him do so well but 1 it would reveal my position and 2 he might think I¡¯m a devil that loves death. So I decided against it. After a minute or so, James reluctantly got up from where he had slumped on the ground after killing the goblin. He was still a little shaken up from the whole experience. However I noticed something when my power scouter scanned James¡¯ power. It had risen from [12] ¡ú [14]. It turns out battle really is the best training. Exhausted, James laid down for a while. After a little bit he eventually started cooking the goblin while scrunching up his face, remembering the goblins head smash. When he finished cooking it he, begrudgingly ate the meat while holdings his nose because it stunk. However he knew he had to eat it for his survival and didn¡¯t want to disobey me by wasting his senzu beans, or magical beans. By now it was night and James was looking looking up at the sky stargazing in an attempt to calm himself. He was loving the sight and I liked that he was enjoying himself. Then I heard something that shook me to my very core. James said in a happy and calm voice ¡°Wow the full moon is gorgeous and it amazes me every time I see it.¡± Chapter 5- Full Moon I froze, I was scared for the first time in this world. Everything I had done so far (not a lot I know but it seemed like it to me) could come crashing down if I just turned my head. Not caring if James found out I was there I jumped off the branch and ran as fast as I could to get far away from James and the village. After a few minutes I was in a new forest and I decided it was safe. All this time I had been resisting the urge to look, it wasn¡¯t just a normal urge it was something different¡­ something primal. When I turned around and looked, it was like the best thing I¡¯d ever seen in my life and I was immediately overcome with a surge of energy and strength. My hair began growing longer, my teeth sharper, my feet bigger, my arms bigger, my whole body and my senses became better a lot better. It-it was AMAZING. I immediately started cursing those idiot¡¯s who cut off the tail¡¯s off those saiyans who were deprived of this brilliant sensation. I then prepared myself to go on a rampage. However when the transformation was over and I was a huge gorilla with great strength. I didn¡¯t feel angry I felt excited like how I felt when it was happening. I then jumped up like mario does when he completes a level with my fist in the air. I then, remembered I was a huge gorilla and laughed at how ridiculous that must have looked. When I did laugh it vibrated strongly and shook the air a bit, this made my giant monkey lips curl into a creepy excited smile on my face. I then realised, I was able to act like I was still normal and I was completely in control of my actions was because I asked god for full control of the transformation. There was none in the anime who had claimed to reach this level, so we didn¡¯t know what it was like. As it turns out it made it so (as I said before) you had complete control of your actions and all that happens is you turn into a badass giant gorilla with x10 power boost! I was itching to try out my abilities in this awesome form! So I started punching the air and breathing fire into the sky. It was amazing and I felt like I could do anything. After testing my abilities for about an hour I eventually got bored so I decided to look around this new forest where the trees could barely reach my shin. So, I began walking and accidently stepped on a few trees, as well as the ones I knocked over. While I was walking around I finally took a minute to appreciate the beauty of my new world, it was amazing. The air was fresher and the sky was clearer, I always wondered what a world without pollution was like. Just as I was admiring the scenery, I blacked out. I woke up in the morning with scorch marks all around me. That¡¯s weird, I thought I had full control of the transformation, I then thought ¡®I guess not¡¯. I then, slowly began making my way back towards the village and James to see how they were doing. I was a bit surprised that my clothes were still intact, that was weird, meh, I guess it doesn¡¯t matter. When I got a certain distance I began running because if I didn¡¯t I probably wouldn¡¯t even get to James before nightfall. I got to James and saw that he had just woken up and was doing fine. Also surprisingly he had also killed another goblin and its body was on the floor near the fire. He looked like he was doing good and had recovered from yesterday, when he had scared himself by killing it. Humans adaptability never ceases to amaze me. So know that I knew he was fine I decided to check on the village discreetly. I went from tree to tree and then eventually went onto the roofs of the village and saw that everyone was fine. Also, just as a side note, Rose was still as beautiful as ever. Knowing everyone was fine I went back into the forest to observe James in the forest and sat comfortably on a nearby branch. 1 Month Later ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- James has made a lot of progress and has become was as well as having more battle sense. He can now expertly dispose of goblins like they¡¯re are nothing and his physique had improved a lot with him being lean and muscly. I was very impressed with his hard work and he also just generally had an aura of seriousness around him. Also his power level had gone from [14] ¡ú [37]. I came down from the tree branch that had become my home for the previous month and immediately started clapping. As soon as he saw me, his face lit up and he yelled ¡°MASTER XEEEN!¡± with glee as he jumped to hug me. I was a bit surprised I embraced him with open arms nonetheless. ¡°Hey kid, how ya been.¡± I said chuckling a bit while patting his head ¡°I¡¯ve been great, I also got stronger and goblins are no match for me anymore.¡± He said happily while bragging slightly. ¡°I can tell that you got stronger.¡± I replied while smiling ¡°How?¡± He asked while confused In response I just tapped on the side of my power scouter, while smiling. ¡°It was also the way I notice your power before.¡± ¡°Wow master! You have so many magical items!¡± I just smiled and beckoned for him to follow me ¡°Come on, let¡¯s go back to the village and show everyone your new power.¡± I said laughing ¡°Yes master!¡± He said while matching my enthusiasm to show off. We then started marching back to the village with pride. As well as huge smiles on our faces Chapter 6- Back at the village When we finally arrived back at the village we were met with happiness. All of the villagers were visibly joyful. They were happy to see me for obvious reasons and were happy to see James because he would always help everyone, whenever possible. So we began walking around the village looking for Rose. While we were looking we were given respectful nods and admiring stares, from adults and children alike, it was great. Eventually, we spotted Rose and began making our way over to her. However before we got over to her she saw us and her face immediately lit up. She, then began running towards us with her arms stretched out as far as possible. When we were within her reach, she grabbed us and embraced us in a huge hug while smiling. While James was slightly embarrassed and scratching the back of his head, I happily welcomed the hug and hugged her back. After about a minute Rose finally spoke up. ¡°So how did training go?¡± Rose asked inquisitively. I was about to answer her, but before a sound could even come out of my mouth James very ecstatically, and excited yelled ¡°It went great, I¡¯m a lot stronger than I was before and I can expertly dispose of goblins now!¡± He was puffing out his chest while showing off his new abilities to his elder sister. ¡°Wow! How did you manage to train him so well Xen?¡± Rose asked, interested in how I made his brother so much stronger in a short amount of time. Yet again, just as I was going to say something James spoke first ¡°It¡¯s simple he left me in the forest with an axe to fend for myself.¡± As soon as James said this both me and Rose went wide-eyed. While I was going wide-eyed out surprise for James¡¯ stupidity Rose¡¯s was from anger and a lot of it. Rose¡¯s hands immediately balled up into fists and if I didn¡¯t know any better I would¡¯ve thought that smoke was coming out of her ears. ¡°WHAAAATTT!¡± Rose yelled She was extremely angry, and getting angrier by the second, so much so that I thought she was going to overflow with rage. Rose immediately went to hit me but everytime she did I dodged and she was so frustrated and wanted to hit me so hard that I couldn¡¯t get back up again. Nevertheless, I kept dodging and tried to reason with her ¡°Rose, listen to me, it was the most effective method of training a-¡± Before I could finish Rose yelled at me ¡°Most effective method! He could have died.¡± ¡°No he couldn¡¯t have. I was watching him the whole time and if his life was in danger I would¡¯ve helped him.¡± ¡°All the time really?¡± Rose asked while wondering if I was sincere and finally stopped trying to hit me. ¡°Yes, I never let out of my sight.¡± ¡°Ok that¡¯s a bit better. It was still an extreme method though!¡± ¡°Ok, ok, it was extreme but it was the best way to get results. He¡¯s almost three times as strong as he was before.¡± I said in my defense ¡°Three times!? Then I noticed James staring at me with his eyes twinkling. ¡°What?¡± I grunted angrily ¡°Wow master, I knew you were great but you even managed to calm big sis down. Master you must be a god.¡± ¡°I¡¯m not too far off.¡± I said while puffing my chest out and bragging. ¡°Woooowwwwww.¡± The boy said while his eyes twinkled even more. I just chuckled to myself and carried on following after Rose. While James followed after me, full of admiration. When we got Rose¡¯s house we were able to relax for a little while (a couple of hours or so). However our relaxation was interrupted when a villager came to the house, opened the door and said ¡°Rose, the merchant¡¯s here and he wants to meet Xen¡± ¡°Oh really? Let¡¯s go then, come on Xen¡± All I could think was ¡®rude he just opened the door without even knocking¡¯. ¡°Ok I¡¯m coming.¡± I said while getting up but I was uninterested. So me and Rose got up and began walking to the entrance of the village together and I had my hands behind my head not trying to hide my un-interestedness at all. James stayed behind because he was still tired and didn¡¯t care about the merchant. When we got to the entrance of the village I saw a tall skinny man with robes on and a fancy carriage behind him. This showed that he was rich but not royalty-level. I was still just stood there unimpressed by all this. ¡°Your Xen, the one they call the wandering martial artist I presume.¡± ¡°Your presumption is correct, so what do you want.¡± I said while intensely staring him down ¡°Xen don¡¯t be so rude.¡± ¡°Why?¡±I asked while genuinely wondering why I should watch my manners in front of this posh twat in front of me,who was acting like he owned the place. ¡°This is the merchant that sold our village furniture and blankets for a very cheap price so that we could start our village he basically helped build the place.¡± Rose said, explaining the merchant¡¯s cocky air. ¡°So? Why should I care, I¡¯m not a villager and I don¡¯t owe him anything.¡± ¡°I guess.¡± Rose said, putting her head down defeatedly. Seeing this I patted her head and then turned to look at the merchant expectantly, waiting for him to answer my previous question. ¡°Well I was hoping for you to accompany on my journey to E-rantel and provide me and my carriage protection on our journey.¡± ¡°How much?¡± ¡°Wow! I¡¯m impressed not only strong but business savvy also eh? You have a bright future ahead of you young man.¡± In reaction to this, I just rolled my eyes and said ¡°Answer my question old man.¡± ¡°Haha. Since the journey isn¡¯t extremely dangerous but it is dangerous enough for me to require protection so 30 silvers.¡± When he said this Rose¡¯s eyes went wide. I already knew about this world¡¯s currency and wasn¡¯t surprised when Rose¡¯s eyes went wide since it would be quite a bit of money to her. ¡°Ok. But I want something more.¡± ¡°Oh?¡± The merchant replied inquisitively ¡°How are your connections with the adventurer¡¯s guild?¡± Instead of responding to me the merchant looked at me blankly and confused for a few minutes before responding to me. At this moment all the villagers were dumbfounded since the man that they had idolized for years was surprised, even though this man was supposed to be extremely proper, smart and unable to be shown up. However he eventually regained his composure, put on a sly smile and said ¡°Quite good and now that I realise you are not just business savvy but genuinely smart I apologise for my previous behaviour and I will do all that is in my power to help you in the guild if you can help me.¡± ¡°Yeah that¡¯s fine.Hey you.¡± I said while turning my head and pointing at the villager that came to get me and Rose. I know I was kind of rude to the villager but it was what he deserved for just walking into my future-wife¡¯s home unannounced and without knocking. ¡°Go tell James we¡¯re leaving and he needs to protect the village in my absence he got a lot stronger during training so you¡¯ll all be fine. Also take this it is really strong.¡± The villager nodded and went to inform James of our departion. ¡°I guess this is it then.¡± Rose said to me with sad eyes while looking at the ground ¡°What? No. Get in already silly wife.¡± I said nonchalantly while already sitting in the taxi relaxedly. Hearing this Rose¡¯s face lit up as she ran to the carriage while holding her dress as to not stand and/or trip on it. While on the way to the capital all that really happened was me and the merchant talking about what he could do for me in the adventurer''s guild and he told me that the best he could manage was iron rank with a recommendation letter. Which I was fine with. The only other notable thing that happened was that a goblin got in the way, scared the driver and tried to get in the carriage but I was already prepared and blew it¡¯s head off with a single Ki blast and told the driver to carry on before closing the door. Then, finally we reached the place where the legendary Mommon started his adventure and where I will start mine. E-Rantel. Chapter 7- Goblin Extermination Chapter 7 When we finally arrived at E-Rantel I asked the merchant for directions to the adventurer¡¯s guild and we politely said our goodbyes and made our way towards the guild. Rose was mesmerised by the city and wanted to take it all in and look around, however I refused and adamantly made my way to the guild while not letting go of the agape Rose¡¯s wrist in one hand and clutching the recommendation letter from the merchant in my other hand. Marching through the city with a beautiful girl next me obviously attracted a lot of attention some from bad people. However I didn¡¯t care and carried on marching while remembering the directions that the merchant had given us. When we finally reached the adventurers guild, Rose was stunned and glancing at every person with fancy armor, swords robes etc she could see but I burst straight inside not sparing her much time to ogle at the expensive equipment. I scanned over the room with my power scouter shortly before walking over to the desk where the receptionist was and passing over the letter. What my power scouter showed me was that the power levels could be anywhere between 50-300 except for one that was at 500 I came to the conclusion that they were adamantite rank. When I slid the letter over to the receptionist she had a bored expression on her face presumably because there were a lot of fakers that came here with forged letters but when she opened my letter and read it she had a shocked look on her face before she bowed and said ¡° Sir please excuse my rudeness I will go to get your iron adventurer badge immediately.¡± ¡° No problem and thank you.¡± I said while waving my hand before she took her leave to go and get me my iron level adventurer badge for me that would help me to show my new status in society in this new world. With this there were a few surprised faces around the guild but most didn¡¯t care and just went about their day while me and Rose found a table to sit at while we waited for the receptionist to come back with my badge. (I say badge but I don¡¯t know what to call it) When the receptionist finally came back she bowed while handing me my iron plated badge and returning to her desk. Rose had a happy and satisfied smile on her face as we walked over to the quest board. When we got there I browsed for anything interesting, thankfully I had lessons in reading and writing from Rose in the village and again in the carriage with the help of the merchant. While I was browsing I came across something interesting with the title of: Goblin Extermination This quest stated that there was a new nest of goblins in a cave which is inside a forest quite close to E-rantel so hunters can¡¯t make a living and it would be fine if it wasn¡¯t for the sheer number of them which was estimated anywhere from 30 to 50 under the leadership of a hobgoblin. I took this one over to one over to the receptionist with expectation on my face. ¡°I¡¯m sorry sir but this quest is a Silver rank one you cannot take it.¡± ¡°I know what rank it is, don¡¯t worry but since I¡¯m not going alone I¡¯m quite confident in my ability to complete it.¡± ¡°Sir I''m sorry but I cannot allow that. ¡° ¡°Ok, I understand.¡± I said Which was met with a sigh of relief from the receptionist. ¡°However, I will take a party with me and complete it soon, if I can do that may I take the quest?¡± Then a different sigh came from the receptionist, one of reluctance and frustration. This was because my letter meant that I was an esteemed guest and she would have to treat me as such. So she was doing her best to mind her manners but what I had just asked of her was a near-impossible request. However Rose was dumbstruck and shouted ¡°What!?¡± ¡°Why would we need party members when you saw me defeat like 30 monsters including ogres that are a lot stronger than goblins and I didn¡¯t even get injured, just tired.¡± ¡°Bu-¡± Rose tried to say before I interrupted her ¡°But nothing, Rose I can handle it will be fine.¡± ¡°Ok, if you say so Xen.¡± Rose replied reluctantly. That night we settled at a fair priced inn closeby to the guild and decided to venture to the nest of goblins in the morning. The inn was 5 silvers a person so that was a third of our funds gone but after the quest we would be handsomely rewarded. The next day we got up, refreshed and barged our way through the busy inn. However when I tried to get past one man and he spilled his drink and turned to me with an angry look on his face. ¡°Who the fuck do you think you are.¡± The man said as he turned around. ¡°Sorry man, we¡¯re just trying to get past.¡± I said as I motioned to go past him again. ¡°Oh no, a ¡®Sorry¡¯ ain¡¯t worth shit, we¡¯re gonna have to take this outside.¡± He said smirking and gesturing to the door. ¡° Ugh, fine.¡± I said as I walked towards the door, still holding Roses¡¯ hand (a little tighter now). The angered man and his cronies followed all laughing and smirking to each other as they did. When we got outside Rose turned to me with a worried look on her face and her hand on my chest and said ¡°Be careful, please.¡± She must have been worried because the man was very muscular and taller than me. ¡°If I can handle an ogre this measly guy is no problem, so don¡¯t worry, now go stand to the side so you don¡¯t get hurt¡± ¡°Hey kid!¡± The big man shouted to me. ¡°Yeah?¡± I said questioningly as Rose walked off to the sidelines. ¡°What do you say to a little wager?¡± ¡°Depends, what do you want?¡± ¡°Well if I win me and the boys get to spend the night in the company of your lovely girlfriend.¡± He said while motioning to his five yes men. ¡°Now this is personal.¡± I said with a serious look on my face. Which caused the man to get into a fighting stance, however it was to late as I had already kicked off the ground and covered the ten meters between us and raised my fist. When I punched him in the face his eyes went blank as he fell backwards, passed out, with blood squirting out of his nose. I then turned to the five men on my right and said ¡°Any of you brave enough?¡± To which they replied ¡°N-no sir¡± As they cowered in fear. ¡°Ok. Rose, let¡¯s go do this quest.¡± I said as I turned to her with a smile on my face while blood was still dripping from my fist. ¡°Ok Xen.¡± She said as she smiled back. Then we headed out of town and into the forest where the quest letter had told us the goblins¡¯ nest was. However we did have to go quite deep into the forest to find the clearing that the goblins¡¯ cave was in. When we got there though we saw four pretty beaten up adventurers and a lot of goblins closing in on them. One of the adventurers had an iron adventurer badge hanging around his neck and he was holding a sword while stood in front of the rest of his comrades, who were on the floor and one was getting healed by the party¡¯s healer. ¡°Rose take this bean, split it in half, give one half to the healer and the other to the man stood up, understood.¡± ¡°Un¡± Rose replied before she took the senzu bean and went to help the party. I flared up my power to the point that the familiar white aura that the characters from the show usually use was showing. But something felt different ¡®What is this power¡¯ I thought to myself. ¡°System?¡± I called out ¡°Yes host.¡± ¡°Why do I feel stronger than before?¡± ¡°After that fight with the ogres and goblins host passed out because he used all of his energy, this made host receive a small zenkai boost after healing with a senzu bean.¡± ¡°Yes! So what is my current power level system?¡± I asked excitedly ¡°Hosts¡¯ power level is [150].¡± ¡°I see. As you said a small boost, but it¡¯s still a good one. Thank you system.¡± ¡° No problem host.¡± ¡®Now back to the matter at hand¡¯ I thought to myself as I charged into the clearing and screaming. ¡°COME GET ME GOBLIN BITCHES.¡± To get their attention. And once they did look at me I shot a devastating ¡®Kamehameha¡¯ into the crowd taking out the majority of them however there were still ten of them so I charged in head on. I ducked under a hit from the closest one and killed it with a fist to the face. Then another came for me but I backflipped over it¡¯s club and delivered a ¡®Ki Blast¡¯ to the side of its head. The other eight then furiously charged at me to kill me but since they came at me in a line I had a great idea. I placed both my hands on the ground and twisted my body to kick the closest goblin in the side of the head which made it hit into the side of the next goblin¡¯s head and then that one hit the next one and so on. After that I thought they were finished but the last two got up and came for me albeit dazedly. So I just walked into the middle of them and delivered the killing blow to them both with an elbow to the top of their heads. With the goblins finished off I turned to the four adventurers that were agape with Rose was sat among them happily smiling.
