Each Gate is classified in the same Ranks as Hunters. A Rank E Gate would normally be cleared by 10 or so Hunters of the same rank. The Rank of Gates are determined by the Hunter''s Guild based right in the middle of Seoul, using advanced technology that measures the energy of the Gate The same could be said for Hunters, at the beginning a bright light would shine upon those who have awakened. Now that decades have passed, anyone wanting to be a Hunter can awaken once they reach the age of 5. In some rare cases, children could awaken the day they are born. The Ranks of Hunters are determined by the same technology used to measure the energy within a Gate and also takes into account the type of power gained from the awakening After the brief, the group of 12 or so members prepared to enter the Gate. Stepping inside the Gate, the Hunters prepared their weapons. After walking around for 10 or so minutes, a single wolf was spotted. Running into the group of Hunters, the wolf howled and called for its pack to attack Within seconds, tens of wolves appeared from every direction and prepared to pounce on the closest person. The Hunters charged at the wolves and fought a bloody battle, Park Shi Won using his feeble powers tried to take on a wolf by himself in hand to hand combat. However, the wolf pounced on him giving him a grave wound with just one attack before being beheaded by another Hunter "Hey! Park Shi Won! You shouldn''t have come with us! You''re just dragging us down and wasting our energy on you!" One of the Hunters said. From the side, another wolf attacked the Hunter giving him some slight wounds before being cut down by him. A healer from the group came and healed Shi Won''s wounds before covering up his wounds and looking at him with disdain Park Shi Won thought to himself as he stared at the beheaded wolf and bit his lips "No matter how weak I am, I must do it for mother and my siblings! Mother is in urgent need of surgery and my siblings need their school fees paid." "I must clear this Gate, even though I can''t help. Just by being here, they are providing 500 000 Won. I''m nowhere close to being able to pay off mothers fees let alone my siblings....." he continued After defeating all the wolves, the Hunters along with Park Shi Won moved on ahead to clear the Gate. The Hidden Dungeon After being healed, the group of Hunters prepared to set off deeper inside the Dungeon. Deeper inside the dungeon, the group encountered hundreds of Giant Rats. Though weak individually, with large numbers even a B Rank Hunter might have problems dealing with them. Hiding in the back of the group, Park Shi Won watched helplessly as the others fought the rats, suddenly a Giant Rat appeared in front of him and attacked him. Park Shi Won immediately activated his Awakened ability and fought the rat After giving it a few solid punches, Park Shi Won barely defeated the Giant Rat. After killing a few Giant Rats with her sword, Park Yoo Ri ran towards Park Shi Won and helped him recover. After slaughtering all the Giant Rats, the Hunters were healed and gave looks of disdain at Park Shi Won before spitting on the ground just in front of his foot Like a ferocious tiger, Park Yoo Ri stood up to defend him. "Heh, an upper D rank Hunter like you is defending trash like him? What''s so good about him? Just because he has a pretty face?" one of the hunters laughed. The angered Park Yoo Ri shouted "Hey! The walls around the head suddenly started breaking slowly. Crack* Crack* ROAR* The Stone head became a full body and broke out from the walls As if the leader called them, from behind all the other paintings, more stone figures appeared from within the walls and broke free. Suddenly, the lights in the room changed and became brighter, strange music started to play out of nowhere giving everyone a chill "Everyone quick! Gather around in a single spot!" Hak Jeong Mun shouted as he ran towards the group The stone figures slowly moved towards the group, the first stone figure stood still and slowly changed its form into that of a clown. Once it had fully transformed it smiled at the group causing great fear to spread amongst them "Arg! I''m outta here!" said one of the Hunters. Slish* Before he could even reach the door, the Clown threw a chakram and sliced his body in half "AHHHHHH!!!" the female Hunters screamed. "Nobody move!" Park Yoo Ri screamed Park Shi Won lying on the ground looked up only to see every stone figure staring at him, his ever so pale face became even paler as if his skin was made of pure white paper. Hak Jeong Mun shouted "It''s just a few moving rocks! Don''t be scared, everyone attack!" as he charged at a stone figure with a sword in hand and a shield in the other Bang!* As if he was an ant, the stone figure being charged at raised its arm and punched out at Hak Jeong Mun. Slowly the other stone figures took slow steps towards the Hunters with a sword in hand being dragged along the floor with each step. Shhhhn* Shhhhn* The Clown figure''s disturbing smile never changed as it crept towards the group "No! St... Stay back!" a female Hunter screamed as she swung her sword around randomly in front of her, "Hey stop swinging your sword! I can''t see a da*n thing!" another Hunter yelled Park Shi Won''s right hand is suddenly grasped, turning around he saw Park Yoo Ri shivering in fear beside him. With each step toward them, she would tighten her grasp on his hand eventually giving him pain Ignoring the pain from his hand, Park Shi Won turned to face the threat in front of him. Seeing no chance to escape, one of the few remaining Hunters mustered up their courage to charge at one of the stone figures The other stone figures stopped moving as soon as it happened. Clash* Their weapons collided, Boom* Another Hunter who had an elemental Awakening used their fire to back up the Hunter who had charged out of the group After a short exchange, the Hunter used his remaining strength to cleanly cut off the head of the stone figure he had fought with. The stone figures had all stopped in their track and took the fireballs head and took no damage as if they were hit by a feather Suddenly, the Clown figure disappeared from its spot and appeared next to the group.
