 The Fifth State

    After some centuries of the harmonic relationship between the human, werewolves and vampires, The vampires and werewolves ceased to exist. Only the humans remained.


    The scuffle for the strong hold led to an all out war which resulted in the destruction of the integrity of the nation. Ultimately in order to overcome the prevailing circumstances the eight leaders came forward to lead the people with common interest. The greed for power resulted in the death of millions. This led to the birth of the eight factions which are now called states.


    It was a scientifically developed world with advancement in military technology. Mankind had their own renewed defense forces. There were scientifically modifies domes between each and every state which used to detect day to day activities of people entering and living the state.


    Each state had two gates. One in the north and the other in the east. All the states had their own commander. All the eight commanders had a committee to maintain the peace of the country. The committee had a superior. Without his approval no one could implement any new rule in their states.


    The committee was known by the name Phantom Observers.


    It was April. The sun rose as usual resulting in a new day. The people were working as usually in all the states. ¡°It is peaceful as usual¡± said a person standing next to commander seeing outside the window of a building. ¡°Indeed it is¡± said the commander to the person while he was looking at the documents which were brought to him.The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.


    He was commander of the state five which was said to have the strongest military might. He was Ivan Charles the man of his words. He was a great leader who led the state in the best form. Most of the commanders had respect for him as he was a humble man. And the person who assisted him was Varl Ignus a person of strong will.


    While both of them were busy with their work they heard the alarm which was a sign of an intruder. Soon the room got a call which said ¡°We have an intruder. We are going to deploy the military as it is not possible to stop the intruder¡±. ¡°Go ahead said the commander¡± while picking up the coat on his chair. He left the room with guns in his pocket and coat on his shoulder. His assistant followed him.


    They both went out to see the people panicking. The intruder was in a fighter jet which was never seen before. He dropped missiles which started to destroy the building.


    Seeing that the Ivan said ¡°Let the military base know that I want the Re-5 to be activated¡±. ¡°Yes sir¡± said Varl and left the place. ¡°This will be a mess¡± whispered Charles after Varl left the place.


    ¡°Commander has ordered to activate Re-5¡± said the assistant contacting the military base. ¡°Yes sir¡± said a person. ¡°All units stand by we are now going to phase-0. Everyone note we are going to phase-0¡± announced the military general all over the place. Everyone hearing that went in standby mode and the Re-5 was brought up.

 The Re-5

    Ivan Charles was standing on the top of the headquarters and said ¡°Been a long time since I was here. It feels refreshing¡±. As he was enjoying the scenery, A door on the floor behind the commander opened. Hearing that he turned back and looked at it saying ¡°I hadn¡¯t seen it in years together. It still looks the same¡±. He said that and moved behind the box.


    The commander pressed the green button on the top of the box. The box opened and turned into a gun.


    It was a huge gun with a long barrel, automated to lock its targets. It had hundred percent accuracy. It was last used during the war which annihilated the vampires and werewolves a century ago.


    ¡°It looks so cool¡± said the commander. Varl came to the place where the commander was and said ¡°Sir the enemy is trying to destroy the whole state; so we better shoot it as early as possible¡±. ¡°Don¡¯t be in a hurry. Let me handle this¡± said the commander while turning the gun towards the intruder. He pressed the red button on the device which said ¡°Target locked. Ready to fire¡±. There was a trigger which was used to launch the bullet. The commander pulled it and he saw the machine charging. After ten seconds the commander said ¡°Here we go¡± and the bullet was fired.


    The bullet gained momentum and hit the enemy¡¯s aircraft which led to a blast. ¡°That was amazing¡± said Varl as he saw the firing for the first time.Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.


    ¡°We have to report this to the committee as soon as possible and ask all the commanders to be present¡± stated Ivan.


    The assistant called the committee and explained them about the attack that took place in the state. A meeting was decided and a message was sent to all the states.


    ¡°We got to find out who was responsible for the attack as soon as possible or it might lead to another war soon¡± said Ivan to Varl. ¡°I agree¡± replied Varl.


    The small part of the state was destroyed but no one was hurt because of the intense security measures taken by the military general and all his subordinates. The destroyed shield was being repaired by experts and scientists were trying to find out more about the aircraft by trying to regenerate it.


    Almost everything was back in place in a day and it was peaceful again. A meeting of The Phantom Observers was about to be held in a week and all the commanders were asked to be present there.


    Meanwhile in a random place there was a assembly going on. It was a committee of eleven people. A person stood up and said ¡°We failed in destroying a single area and we had no chance of winning with the technology we have. We need to do something about this¡±.


    ¡°Calm down Zark we knew it from the beginning what would happen. We have to come up with a new idea to destroy everyone¡±. ¡°So we finally found all the ten people for the committee right bods¡± said a random guy who was sitting with them.


    The leader of the group said ¡°For now why don¡¯t you all investigate while I will be gone for the meeting of The Phantom Observer¡±. ¡°Yes boss¡± said everyone. As we have all the ten members I needed, I will name you the Ten Dark Souls and I expect good results from you¡± saying that he left the room.

 The Headquater

    The person who was planning to go to the committee came to their commander and said ¡°I am planning to go to the meeting now¡±. He turned around and was about to leave when the commander asked ¡°What happened to the attack we planned¡±. ¡°We failed this time but we are still working on it¡± said the person. The commander was busy with his experiment so he did not say anything. The person left to the meeting with an assistant.


    In the first state the commander called his military general and said ¡°We are planning to leave to the headquarters for the meeting now as a committee is called. So I want you to accompany us in our journey,. Drack Stans¡±. ¡°Yes sir¡± said Drack.


    Drack Stans was the general of the first unit of the military of the first state who was closest to the commander. He was a trustworthy and loyal general. It was said that he looked just like all the previous generals who were powerful and intelligent.


    Everyone in the other states prepared for the journey. They all took different routes. The routes of state one, two, three and four were connected to each other at a place called Fotiture and the other state routes were connected at Gestine.

    All the ships finally reached the destination and all the commanders entered the meeting Hall. Every commander had their own seats as their states name.


    The commander Ivan Charles said to the person right of him ¡°Been a long time since the last time we have been together¡±. ¡°Yes it is¡± said the person who was the commander of the fourth state who was Eden Frans.


    Similarly everyone started talking to each other and as they were busy in their conversation the Head of the committee came in and said ¡°Thank you all for being here and now we will begin our meeting¡±.


    The name of the head was Reinz Weist who a well experienced person well known for leadership.


    ¡°I got a message from Ivan saying hat his state was attacked by someone but we are not sure who would it be, so that is the sole reason we are here¡± said the commander. ¡°Are you suspecting one of us to be involved in it oldman¡± said Seil Jena who was the commander of first state.


    ¡°I am not suspecting any one but I want to make sure something like this never happens and if we ever come to know about it we will terminate the entire state¡± said Rein.


    Hearing him Ivan said ¡°If anyone who was planning the attack is present here next time I will make sure I will burn the state down¡±.


    ¡°That is all we had to discuss in the meeting and hope I do not get any of these complaints anymore¡± said the head and dismissed the meeting.
