《Magical World Domination》 1: I am Levin Ganther. Chapter 1: I am Levin Ganther.
It all started out one day. I am Levin Ganther. An ordinary middle-aged person whose facial features are mainstream, black hair and eyes, average height and almost skinny stature. I am your usual ordinary middle-aged person whose liability isn''t all about businesses, being strategic and aiming for my future generation''s lives, and being wise. But a sole life responsibility. A responsibility that includes a low-class kind of joband that is to hand out promotional flyers of our company''s services to bypassers around the street since I didn''t get accepted to any jobs other than someone who hands out a flyer due to my bad grades and history. ... I used to be a rat in the past. Skipping classes just for fun, believed Freedom is a good thing and so on... Until I become that ''somebody'' who jumps into somebody''s houses for their luxurious expensive garments or every people Ipass by until I got caught by the police and redeemed my habits inside the jail for almost eternity. Blah, like it matters today.Let me tell you how I wounded up in this situation at the present time... A situation, not even the greatest scientists would dare to answer with theories and mathematics alone. I was transported to another world... Though not the green and vibrant world of life you''re anticipating for in your whole life. It''s dry and hot. I feel like my strength is being shaved off my skin every second pass by. How did this happen? Earlier this afternoon. I was about to go home with a measly 60 dollar weekly payout when I passed by my usual stress-relief center and saw a new machine being opened in the midst of crowded game consoles. It looked futuristic and seemingly fun. Though no one seems to be interested in trying it out, it was isolated unlike in other machines which are being flocked and lined about by several people. It looked lonely yet expensive to the eyes. Of course, due to my curiosity that sparked deep within my heart. I fished my wallet out of my dear pockets and went towards the said machine, the letterings embedded onto it were enough to send shivers down my spine as it reminds me of my wildest dreams back then. "VR machine" is what written all over its body. And through by examining its body, I found out the reason why people are avoiding this machine that much. My grip on my wallet was no doubt, loosened to the extent I looked like someone whose soul got sucked out of my body. My expression went stiff and pale the moment I saw that one certain tag hanging out of a coin catcher. I was right about it being looking expensive and all. 60. Damn. Dollars. Written in proud bold font. It costs 16 tokens to play, ONCE, and one token cost about3.75 dollars. ... Though... I didn''t walk away. Instead of walking away, I subconsciously acted on my own. I slowly slid the three 20 dollar bills out of my wallet with great guilt. I gulped long and hard before I managed to grant myself some courage to walk towards the token exchange desk and exchange my weekly pay into some... Tokens. A form of currency that would no doubt, won''t feed me a single strand of hair worth of food into my stomach for a week unless someone is kind enough to buy it for me at the same price or even slightly higher. The chances of it happening are little to none though, quite depressing, actually. "Next Sunday is not far ahead." I thought to myself to shrug off the surging anxiety inside my mind and before handing out the three twenty bills towards the desk girlwhile my forehead rapidly releasing bullets of sweats. The desk girl looked at me with confusion but did not heed onto it and made out of her job without flinching out of her curiosity. With the tokens in hand, I went towards the VR machine and laid into it before I dropped all damned 16 tokens down the drain. Honestly, seeing these tokens being dropped, I felt my world would''ve ended. I mean. I was depending on today''s payout to gift myself a food. But as it seems, I''ll be depending on my neighbor''s generosity this week. If... They are going to be generous today. I mean, I remember next week has the Black Friday sale. Everyone would probably save up money to buy better appliances or much more convenient gadgets that would help them out of their misery. I guess I made the wrong decision at a bad time. Damn, there''s no going back now. [[VR MACHINE STARTING]]. [[BE ADVISED THAT THIS MACHINE WILL NOT INCLUDE TOUCH, SMELL, AND SENSE OF TEMPERATURE.]] Alright. That''s clear to me. The screen flashed a sentence in which broke the anxiety swelling deep within me, and rapidly switch colors between blue and white before it dropped a helmet into my head and activated its operation. And before I could even act... The dive has started. The author''s content has been appropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. My surroundings were filled with vibrant prismatic colors that are enough to hypnotize someone, my body being transferred to the virtual world with ease and transmigrated each of my senses except for taste and feel. I experimented for a while and enjoyed the feeling of free falling, and before I knew it, the console switched the deep dive to a scene of an array of game lists. With that said, there aren''t much of many games other than three with each of their corresponding genres. Fantasy RPG, Modern FPS, and Family Building game. ... I am more of an FPS guy when it comes to games, even though the Fantasy RPG''s cover art slowly luring me in, I still managed to control myself and chose the Modern FPS game. I would never choose other genres from Modern FPS, alright? I love guns, even though I can''t distinguish their names and types from a glance nor even with a thorough examination. I love them. The sounds they make every time you pull the trigger just gives you the feeling of pure aesthetic invulnerability and coolness. And not to mention in this game center. My In-game name in FPS machines inside this game center still dominates the first place in the rankings. The game has started, it didn''t even take a minute to load and brought up the character creation menu. "You may change the appearance of your character anytime." A notification popped out of nowhere and told me of its functions. Oh well. The character creation seems to be versatile and allows creativity to form since every inch of your virtual character''s body could be customized, dragged/edited with hand or anything. Hell, I could even enlarge my character''s biceps into Popeye''s with just a flick of my finger. Since I could change my appearance every time, and I love the sight of women wearing heavy tactical suits, waving their hair around while shooting guns larger than their arms. I guess I''ll do this playthrough with a girl''s form? ... I wish the picture I am seeing right now isn''t transmitted to the external screen. Hell, if it is. I''ll be labeled as a pervert by the staff or the random bystanders right after my playthrough here is done. Oh yeah, there was a time limit of two hours. I guess that''s enough for me to goof around this machine. Though it is quite a rip-off for sixty dollar worth of tokens... Two hours? Pfft, you could play four hours worth of arcade games inside this game center with 16 tokens...But don''t play straight or else these 16 coins of yours would be going down the drain. Maybeinclude ten minutes breaks in between? Just playing this VR machine every day must mean you have enough money to feed an entire clan of your family three times a day, and since I don''t have that kind of payout, it is definitely a rip-off. But who am I to judge? Since I am already a fool who gave away his money for this shitty ass rip-off machine. With my artistic mind coming into action, I finally made out of my dream soldier girl. White hair, blue eyes, slim limbs and waist, tender lower body, and chests... And took half an hour out of my two hours chunk. It was funny at first to see my girl wielding large caliber guns while running at inhuman speeds, still, it''s still satisfying to see your hair waving about in natural motion- including the melons before me... I immediately went into practice and some basic shootings before recalibrating the controls and engaging into a tutorial level match where I was randomly dropped off by theBoeing C-17 Globemaster III, which stands as the carrier for the players into the battlefield, into some vast wilderness of dirt and dust. It was supposed to be a forest type of battlefield. But I guess this is some random event flagged by me due to my outstanding results during the tutorial? ... Maybe that, since I concur the Wyverns back in someBeast HunterFantasy RPG in PC would randomly drop you off and sometimes in front of a green spiky tyrannosaurus pickle. That''s the only RPG I played and nothing else more since it features a heavy machine gun crossbow that I love hearing of. The scenery was kind of off. I mean, it''s too brutal for a beginner level like me in a stranger machine. Orange hills rolled all over the scene and dust came swirling about, tsunamis of sand flooded in the distance as I... Felt heat and texture of each grain of sands that are coming through my full-suit Russian armor similar to that ofTachanka from Rainbow horse Siege Six: Bullets are magic. This is the beginner level armor though, I got the gist of the shop''s content and there was futuristic armor included so I guess it''s pretty normal for a beginner to receive a modern tactical suit. I remember, Deserts were used to be the hardest stage since it lacked the lush that provided perfect for guerilla warfare, covers for battles of attrition, and most of all, vehicles tend to function the least under the state of rolling hills since tracks work the funny way in the smooth grains of sands. Not to mention the vastness in which grants snipers a great view of a sight and also a disadvantageous position in every area and angle, just one wrong peek of an eye, you would wound up dead. The odd thing about the feeling of the heat was- It wasn''t supposed to exist in VR. I felt the experience of shooting, walking, and leaping in the tutorial before this match and I could definitely assure you that none of these senses are felt during those rounds. Damn what happened to the system? Hm? The Boeing C-17 Globemaster III fell down in the distance after hitting some sort of barrier..? What happened!? I didn''t see anything except for the flowers of fire that burst out of its right wing and fell into a sweeping alarming pace of descent in a foreign place. A towering fiery smoke blasted off in the distance, rendering these vast wastelands into a more post-apocalyptic setting than modern warfare. Before I knew it. I am no longer inside the damned VR machine. Everything I feel right now was almost the reality- No. It was the reality itself. I thought about it becoming a dream, but, no. "Maybe the VR machine updated and adjusted to my senses?" No. It clearly said in the system updates that It would not include ''the Touch, Smell, and Temperature senses''. Therefore, the thought of feeling the heat before your body is enough to send chills over your body. Damn, maybe I fell asleep back in the VR machine? ... That cannot be. I have at least eight hours of sleep every day since my work only includes me handing out flyers for four hours straight in the afternoon, so it cannot be. I felt my heart sank the moment I pondered about every reasoning out there that might''ve caused the existence of senses into VR. Everything was invalid. Ah, god- Feeling the helplessness surging forth, I unconsciously fell down to my knees and caressed the sands before me. The touch is definitely there, every each of grains passed through my hands and back into the ground, the searing heat is also included and nearly burnt my hands if it weren''t for the thick padding of the gloves. At that moment, I saw a blue window unfold in front of me. My body shivered and mouth widely gaped upon the sight. [[Welcome to the World of Edenarium, otherworlder.]] ... I knew it! I am no longer in the same Modern FPS game! I am right now, in a different type of game- No. A different type of world. This reminds me of a certain isekai novel that my co-worker lend me last time. A person who was just randomly playing a skirmish mission inside the VR machine suddenly transported to another world and had to save out a miserable another world guild girl out of the goblins'' nest. This literally reminds me of that scenario except there are no guild girls nor goblins around, and instead of me saving another person''s lives upon arrival. I have to save my own life! I am the guild girl that requires a hero from THIS world to be saved! Literally! 2: Nice meeting you, Edenarium. Chapter 2: Nice meeting you, Edenarium.
Ah- Damn. Is this for real..? I stared upon the blue window once again and pondered onto it. ''Otherworlder''. It clearly says there. ... Alright be as it may be,this is a prank. Right? Let''s assess the situation calmly as grown-ups should. In this way, ceaseless ranting and confusion would be obsolete, and wasted efforts will not go down into the drain. If this were to be a prank made by the administrators of the system, then there should be a log out/assistance button somewhere in the menu. Right. I should check that first before believing in these mere words inside this suspicious looking blue window. As I recall, opening up a menu only requires you to slowly swipe your palm down without holding either an item or a weapon. I hope... This is a prank. If it were to be a prank, then that would be gracious since I could normally return back to my world. But if it isn''t... Well, isn''t that technically telling your former world "You have died."? I''ll open up the menu then, maybe there is a log out button available. I don''t care if my two hours playthrough is canceled upon logging out, just getting myself out of this predicament would be better. After all. Getting stuck inside the VR drive isn''t a laughing matter. ... There are chances that I might die by the system''s disabling of senses if my HP hits 0. Alright? Now, let''s open it, shall we? With the slow descent of my hand, without any firearms or any sort of item held... "Ping~!" Afamiliar mechanical soundrang into my ears. A tall blue window appeared and replaced the ''warm'' welcome window of Edenarium. The tall window then revealed the game''s settings. That was my menu opening before me. It is quite large but not to an extent it would block my vision wholly. Though. The menu wasn''t completely impeccable unlike what I saw in the tutorial level. It lacked one prerequisite. The most important of them all. I felt even more hopeless upon seeing the blank window at the bottom of the menu. It was the log out button. I remember the log out button being there. But why is it blank!? Don''t tell me-... I have been really transported to another world!?!?! There is definitely no way, right? NO WAY RIGHT!? What are the chances of being transported to another world? 1 to 100? 5 to 10? Or 1 to 1 with this machine? Nope. That 1:1 ratio only applies for a certain truck that hits people for no reason at all other than to send them to another world and grant them cliche abilities. Therefore I conclude, the chances arevery slim..! It was really unfortunate of me to be dropped in that very slim chance of getting transmigrated. Or rather, the Admins are just playing tricks on me to believe I was transported to another world. Well, it is plausible if I think it through like this. It seems like I was the only person who dared to conquer the VR machine the moment it got unpacked in the local game center, which made the system administrators quite the jolly expressions and that''s it. If this kind of system failure is indeed the work of the Admins, I''ll sue them with all of my heart, even though the reality of being able to are 0 in chances since you can''t sue a big company capable of creating games for VR machine with no money but rants. ... Oh well, it''s not like I hate the world for transmigrating me nor the admins playing a trick on me. IF. I am indeed transmigrated to another world, that would be the better of my life''s future since the chances of dying from starvation are pretty high next week due to me having zero budget. And if the Administrators are playing a joke on me, that would also be better since I could fulfill my two hours gameplay to the fullest with the panic of being unable to log out... And enjoy the last moments of my gracious life before I DO die next week from starvation. Tensions are needed for every FPS games after all. Being panicked, anxious of running out of something at all times during playthrough means the FPS game is very well-made. Unless they brought in ghosts that cannot be killed. For now, on my screen which is my eyesight. The game is running normally, HP status presenting correctly, ammunition count in the bottom left is being shown normally including the number of clips myFAD could use before I run out. The shop button which is located at the inventory is also functioning very well. My gun is hidden inside my inventory, I pulled it out and examined it for a while. FAD Assault Rifle, the basics of the basic weapon for the Assault Class of this game. I was a bit surprised it wasn''t your usual Scar-L or the M4A1 but rather this gun. It looked fancy but I still prefer the design of the old guns. The sound of this gun, I haven''t heard of it but I hope it has some ''pluck'' sound that all Assault Rifles have. The gun is rather weightless, by I mean weightless, it weighted like a full palm-sized package of flyers. Damn. This beauty is equipped with a red dot sight and a 40mm Grenade Launcher attachment. ... The appearance is rather tempting to shoot. It kind of tells you to pull that trigger and go all out. And the feeling of the curved shape of the trigger makes my fingers itchy. The surface of this gun alone is seducing my mind... Shit, I must resist.I don''t know if I could get additional ammunition from the shop inside the inventory. If I were to lose all of my ''limited'' clips in a single day, then how would I survive in this world? Or how would I even get through the Administrator''s prank? I won''t dare to waste even a single bullet from this gun! Unless it is required to do so.Love what you''re reading? Discover and support the author on the platform they originally published on. Not to mention, this game or world might have monsters that are much worse than symbiotic zombies. Alright, let''s get a move on. My sidearmQSZ-92 looks pretty solid, although it isn''t like the other games where the pistols/sidearms have infinite ammunition, it has damn a lot of starting clips. 17 Clips to be precise, while my main arm only has 2 clips worth of 30 bullets each in one clip. These 10 clips are enough to be used until the day I am required to use my main arm. And until then, I am using this. It seems like I am not delivered to the site with grenades and other gadgets. Quite the shame I am not able to hold onto grenades, haah. I would only wish the inventory shop sells all of the things inside the game. I holstered my pistol into my side pistol holster, to the place where it should be, and examined my surroundings. It''s... I am overwhelmed by the expanse of this dessert. Just by looking at the distant horizons, I feel at loss. North, East, West, and South- There''s nothing there all except wastelands. Not a trace of humanity, not a trace of beasts nor insects. Hell, not even a trace of a leaf is found! And not to mention the shells that are usually found around deserts! ... Am I lost..? Ahhh, please I hope not! I don''t like to be alone in these kinds of the environment... It''s hot and desolate. I have long been sweating like hell. My whole body is drenched in sweat and it is sticky as hell! Feeling this sticky feeling while wearing full Russian battle armor, I couldn''t help but feel a cold spine. I mean, who wouldn''t? You can''t swipe your sweat off your body for Pete''s sake! But it looks like I am not slightly irritated from it, only whenever I thought of my under places, I only get irritated for a short while. Maybe, this is another function of the game too? I should ignore these sweaty sticky feeling. Hm..? Hang on, I just noticed this. There''s a certain avatar buff icon underneath my HP status. Wait. Isn''t this..? Me, who is being curious as a cat, I tapped onto the buff icon and revealed its details before my eyesight. I must say, this is some aftermath character creation function right here. Out of all FPS games, this game only has this function, since it is quite needless for true FPS players to care about their character''s appearances unless they are some sort of artists or people that care about aesthetics.
[3 Days left] Temporary Avatar Looks: Female Avatar
- The user''s appearance will temporarily reveal ''User-created Avatar'' until the specific time or date reaches 0. Once the temporary avatar is lifted, the user will return to its original appearance until tampered with the console commands. The original appearance is heavily dependent on the user''s reality. - The buff could be set permanent by confirming parameters in the Character menu. To do this, navigate to User''s Dogtag > Appearance > Confirm Appearance and pay the required fee. Permanent appearance does not lock the functionality of Appearance Customization. The same process goes the same for recreating new User-created Avatars. "The Unlimited number of Appearance Customization is our game''s only specialty! No useless microtransactions!" - Lead Developer, Tazu.
Alright, let''s assess this window. It comes with a short introduction and a process of some sort... Making temporary into permanent? Hmm... It is quite splendid- no. It is too splendid that it kept me hanging for a meanwhile. After all, who wouldn''t get stiffened trying to understand the statement ''The original appearance is heavily dependent on the user''s reality''? Those words alone had me reeling inside my head, by what does the person who is behind this function trying to tell me? Is it trying to tell the people who have received this buff or what-ever this was supposed to meant to be that after the timer reaches 0, you will become to what you looked before? It sounds plausible, but it still remains vague and all. It seems like I would wait for this buff to be lifted, which is three days... I wonder if this meant game time or real time..? Nah, most importantly. I could create an infinite number of appearances. As said by the Lead developer ''Tazu''. It is their game''s specialty! How marvelous! Even though I don''t mainly care about aesthetics. This is enough to get me riled up. I wouldn''t mind playing this game for hours, even if it meant my pocket getting a number of debts. Ahh, I wish I am transmigrated instead of being pranked- Alright, onto the next function. My dog tag seems to be responsive as well. This Dog tag shows all of the user''s information, as I recall, and this also acts as your ID in passing through your ''base'' facility which is a thing in the game. Upon the calling of the menu, a blue window replaced the inventory window right before me.

Alright... Nothin''s a prob- HMMM??? HMMMMMMMM!?!?! HANG ON. Is this for real? PREMIUM POINTS! Why is it on the infinity? Do you mean like I have an unlimited amount of these... Premium Points~!? As I recall, every good weaponry, vehicles, and Base facilities are bought with Premium Points in which only registered members of the VR machine could receive through microtransactions. And since I am not a registered member, I don''t have an inch of it. Well, these weapons could also be bought with War Points in which both registered and unregistered members could attain through battling, with tenfold of its original amount of course. With these unlimited number of Premium Points, I doubt about unable to survive these wastelands! I could survive here for weeks even~! Alright, let''s wrap all the system examination. I need to get out of this wasteland first if I need to get rid of this sweaty feeling gathering inside my armor. With no direction in mind, I settled for the north which was the place where the Boeing Globemaster fell and started traversing the sandy dunes. My adventure inside a ''pranked system'' or in the other world begins!
Meanwhile, in another place where sandy dunes are non-existent. In this tall tree of which one would consider ''World Tree'' lied an Elegant castle made out of the most elaborate materials ever imagined. A man stood in front of grand double doors, knocked gently and leaned over to listen to the other side. "May I ask, who is it knocking on this one''s grandiose doors?" "It is but your lowly and humble servant, Dorsus, my queen." The doors slid open slowly, revealing two knights who stood guard near the doors, seeing the sight of these knights. The person who knocked, Dorsus could not help but swallow hard. After all, these knights are like angels of the Heavenly Kingdom. They couldn''t be seen anywhere else other than inside the castle of their kingdom. "Uh- My queen. About these Knights-." Dorsus questioned before he knelt before a curtain. "Do not heed onto unnecessary details, dear servant. These Orpheus Knights of mine are just but a summoned creatures ordered by our King to defend his weakened wife." The person behind the curtain spoke with a cold tone. "Get to the point, dear servant. I am tired and would like to have a heartful rest." "Right." Dorsus calmed himself down. "The summoning has failed, my queen. An unprecedented calamity has usurped the mana of both of our mages and the Primordial Star Stone." "Failed..? By your words ''Primordial Star Stone'' and Summoning, I must ask this dear servant, which of the summoning that required a Primordial Star Stone failed? Is it the Orpheus Knights summoning or... The Forbidden Otherworld calling?" "Unfortunately, It is the latter, my queen." "... How, how''re the mages..?" She said and immediately, her breathing was heavy. "Is my son who partook in the summoning... Hurt..?" "None of them was terribly hurt but they were badly knocked over and would require a year''s worth of rest, my queen. First Mage Prince Eugen is not an exception to the calamity, though be at rest, my queen. He wasn''t that harmed, unlike the other mages who protected him with their meek bodies from the disaster." "That''s a piece of relieving news." The queen heaved a sigh that calmed her breathing pace. "Dear servant, Dorsus, I would like to know what might have caused the calamity. Surely, the Primordial Star Stone is not that kind of catalyst that would detonate upon receiving mana, unlike all low-class Star Stones." "What happened there..?" Dorsus gripped his hands before he spoke. "A certain court mage, who is part of the summoning and belonged to the Noble household of Hanrito, who managed to tell me about a certain silhouette appearing out of the Primordial Star Stone before she lost to the battle of consciousness and fell into a coma." "A certain silhouette? Tell this one more about this!" "It is an armored person with a weird black attire, my queen. I was told that this person might be the cause of the disruption of the summoning and thus concluded might be part of the Demon racewho would do anything just to make our lives a living hell. Captain of the Knights, Lynn and his trusty legion are now on the run in search of this armored person." "Though, it may be weird to ask you this, my queen." "Go on." "... What''s a Demon Race doing in the Monster World Layer..?" 3: Encounter of the damned Chapter 3: Encounter of the damned
"GRUOOOOOOOAAARRRR!!!!!" Shit- Shit- Shit-! Upon hearing the deafening scream, I panic- Quickly hid behind a tall dune and performed a dolphin dive. The searing heat of the sizzling surface of the desert immediately entered to my armor and made me subconsciously level my body above the surface for a little bit. I was just peacefully walking through the plains, onwards to the north through the lands of nothingness, when suddenly a Godzilla level creature ascended andrevealed itselfout of the sands near the valley that I was walking onto. I didn''t have the chance to take a picture out of the creature because of the panic, though just by the roar alone, I could make out of its shape. It may even be bigger than Godzilla judging from the volume of its cry. Well... It''s not life threatening just to take a peek, right? Humph. Here we go! I slowly slid my head above the dune I am laid into and-... YEP. IT. IS. GOD. DAMN. HUGE! Well, not to the level that could rival Godzilla. It could be said it was even smaller than an 18-story high structure. Though it was sufficient enough to block the sun which is calmly descending down in the western horizon. The monster looked like a gigantic tortoise. A behemoth. Its shell had prismatic glowing crystalline pillars that are no less bigger than its head, atmospheric-like gas engulfing these crystal-like spikes as it was some sort of planet. The head had almost the same similarities with a snap turtle except for crystal-like draconic horns that protrude out of its ears. Then almost immediately, a blue window appeared with an arrow directing towards the turtle. ... I was left stiffened the moment I read the blue window. To hell with this!!
Chelone
HP: Perfect Mana: Perfect
Rank: World Aggregator Level: 32,403
Exposed Ability:Gravity Magic: Lessen Weight XXL
What in the actual f--- a monster like this doing out here!?Maybe I was actually dropped to a damned high-level area?!? Oh, I wish I wasn''t. If I were to logically think from the perspective of the game, maybe there are area bosses that roam around the battlefield..? And If I were to see it from the perspective of this world, in which case of ''Otherworldly traveler'', this is definitely a high-level foe! More than that, is this some sort of ''Reveal Identity'' window? Maybe... I was gifted with more than an infinite Premium Points..? Hmm. This is getting more and more becoming a prank instead of some sort of transmigration- BOOM! Suddenly, the ground shook and broke my train of thoughts. Though at the same time, Chelone started moving. Its sheer weight was enough to harden the sand beneath it and generate enough impact to cause timid earthquakes. With that being said, it was obvious that the weight was holding it back from moving faster than it should be, one step seemed like it would take it eternity before it could land. BOOOM!!!! Alright. That was loud. Since tortoises aren''t known for predatory, I think it wouldn''t harm me unless I get into its way? Well, maybe that. Also. I managed to calm myself out of my predicament. ... Is this also included in the system? Well, I am not the bravest person on the planet. I am that type of person who would cower in fear when something''s bad about to happen. I can testify that truth, just bring a TV and Rated-12 horror movies, I''ll soil my pants in no time. Ahem, leaving those thoughts alone... I leaped out of my hiding with haste, since the sizzling hot grains were getting over my heat tolerance, and made around the tortoise. Due to body enhancement, my armor is equipped with, even though they were the basics of the basics, I could run really fast. Like. Fast. From the calibration of the speed of these enhancements alone, I guess they were really suited for high-speed combats ranging from mid-range to CQC*. As expected of Assault Class, I guess. Hmm? Lookingat the place where Chelon ascended. There were traces of civilization. It was as if Chelon was resting above an odd-looking ancient labyrinth. The labyrinth was built with stones obviously not made out of neither hardened sand or clay. It was a pure, olden, gray brick normally found in European castles. Other than that, there are glowing stones embedded to both walls for every two columns, serving as light for its inhabitants. ... I wonder if there are people in that labyrinth? Seeing the structure''s state alone, I conclude that it was built sometime long ago and chances of its inhabitants living that long under these hot sizzling grains of sand and temperature, not to mention the scarceness of food. I doubt about saying they lasted for about two decades, until, logically speaking, they started eating each other for survival. It''s not as if the Labyrinth would move. I guess I''ll check about it later after I investigated the fallen Globemaster. That plane is more worth than this discovery, after all, there are chances that if it is still fully functional, or require slight repairs to fly again.Did you know this story is from Royal Road? Read the official version for free and support the author. I might find my way out of this place or even log out. Alright, let''s do that then. Running at full speed while examining my surroundings. I just realized that the desert is getting more and more... Cramped. The spacious horizon I saw earlier was getting less expansive as it looked like from that glimpse. Hmm. How would Dragons sound? Yep! Right now, in the far distance. I could concur some mythological-level battles happening. The massive tortoise, Chelone, was having a mightly battle with a golden-scaled dragon with Jet-like boosters for wing webs and above its fore lies an almighty looking Crown halo. At first glance, Chelone seemed to be disadvantageous but... The dragon looked like it couldn''t even penetrate Chelone''s shell. Its claws slipped from Chelone''s crystallized shell, even with its dragon breath, Chelone comes out unscathed. And due to their battles, more and more almighty monsters came. Ascending from their slumber underneath the sands, they came out with an explosive entrance. Dragons spewed their dragon flames the moment they came about to the surface, Lions immediately clawed both Chelone and the Golden Dragon, and Chimeras casting the best of their magic. Fortunately for me, who is just peacefully traversing the dunes. I am safe. That battle is happening miles away and there is absolutely no way they could detect me from this distance. Even if they did, I doubt about turning their backs away from monsters that would cause them more harm than this lowly human being. In addition to the uprising of godly monsters, there are small monsters scattered all over the wasteland. The once desolate lands brimmed with life. Tiny scorpions that I doubt dealing much damage, Earth-sized snakes, and perfectly normal rabbits jumping about. There are extraterrestrial monsters roaming about as well, these monsters looked much more hideous than what Uollyhood does to their Horror movie monsters. Scorpions having bipedal legs and snappers like crabs, are called Domain Keeper, while Snakes that are much bigger than two school buses combined together are called Domain Devastator. These two, even though their names sounded like they would come into conflict any time soon, they actually group together and scout the wasteland for food, these desert rabbits were also included. ... Well, I am quite a bit surprised they haven''t noticed me at all. It''s not like I wanted to be noticed, these monsters, even though they looked much weaker than the gigantic kingly monsters that fight in the far distance, they actually have levels above 1,000. So for a newbie like me, they''re too much for me to handle. But it''s quite boring doing nothing but running non-stop towards the fallen Globemaster. Haah, let''s keep at it for a while. I could barely make out of the fallen Globemaster''s silhouette. It''s still too far. And, the melons that my character have... It''s making me hard to breathe. Dammnit. I might have to change this appearance of mine later. Big melons are not really suited for speed. Now I know why most people who play FPS choose smaller breasts for their characters instead of having bigger ones I mean... It''s really hard. ... After spending at least two hours running... Which is originally one hour if it weren''t for damned Domain Devastators throwing me off course and shaking them off for one hour, I finally made it into the Globemaster. The sun has long descended and the chilly temperature of the desert have begun rising. I felt cold running down in every part of my body. Even though my armor is bulky and all, there are holes in the armor that sand and air could easily get through and that is not nice. Since... I forgot to wear my character''s starter costume which is a Military outfit. I wore the damned armor first because, I thought it would be sexier this way. AND! Enough of the negativity. The breasts are coming in handy, instead of suffocating me the entire time I was running. It''s actually comforting me underneath the veil of the cold. My torso feels warm even though the temperature around me is decreasing. ... I''m glad I made her chests bigger! And more than that, even though I have been running for this entire two hours. I couldn''t feel any fatigue at all, this is just simply amazing! Ah, I wish running real life was like this. Though the lack of fatigue is not omnipotent. My physical body could run for hours and even traverse the whole world non-stop, but my Mental body couldn''t. Just from running, I felt like I had an argument with an old man for days and wanted to have a lengthy sleep in a comfortable Hotel bed with air conditioning at max level. ... These things would only exist in dreams... Unless I am out of this desert, I could only dream. I slowly walked up to the charred remains of the Globemaster. Fortunately, REALLY FORTUNATELY FOR ME. Its nose and right wing which obviously shouldered the impact of the barrier that hit the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III, from being thrown off course by colliding with an unmovable thing in the air, were the only parts damaged. IF. We exclude the tail and the main hull''s state of affair. Though, from what it looks like. It could still fly. The engines are still intact and undamaged- Nope!l Miscalculation. Two engines on the left wing are the ones that are undamaged, the remaining on the charred right wing are beyond repair. Damn. If I was only a little bit faster, I could have made it into the crash site and extinguished the flames before they devastated the engines... What a waste of sexy beast. I marveled at this Beast of the skies'' body before I had the thoughts of praising it. Bull shit, as if these things have souls... I thought to myself but my hand subconsciously moved and patted the C-17 Globemaster III''s body out of spite. Thinking it was unnecessary for patting such an inanimate object, I was met with a familiar window once again. A blue window sprang out of my eyes.
Boeing C-17 Globemaster III Blueprints has been acquired.
The rights to build Boeing C-17 Globemaster III has been authorized without the complicity of the User''s Rank.
... Alright. It seems. I could... Build another plane of this grade? Without even needing a higher rank!? OH MY GOD, HOW BEAUTIFUL THAT WAS!! Right after I released my hand off the body of the plane, it started glowing and immediately dispersed into tiny specks of lights. Any remains of the Boeing C-17 Globemaster disappeared as if it was a non-existent object, to begin with. Though the crash site still remained. ... Haah. It''s quite cold out right now. Maybe I should call it a day and rest? The crash site area surface is much harder than the rest of the dunes, thus, it was quite suitable for camping out the night. Though I don''t know if I am safe around these areas? Those Domain Devastators are quite terrifying up close, and more than that, just one bite is enough to kill me... I doubt about the Domain Keepers unable to do the same. Let''s do a quick perimeter check. HUFF! I jumped over the edge of the crater and checked around with Maska-1''s visors up. Since it was quite hard to see through with lesser field of view and through all of this darkness. It was only a good thing, the moonlight of this game or this world is much clearer than real life. Heck, even it has a moon phase ofFirst Quarter, its luminescence is comparable to that of Full moon! Ah, how I wished I was transferred to this world instead of being pranked by the admins. But hey, it is chances, right? Let''s return to scouting for now. I am quite mentally exhausted and require a hefty rest. From my point of view, most of the Domain Devastator and Domain Keepers are few miles away from the Crash Site and the nearest bunch are at most. One mile away. The same goes for the rest of the direction. It was as if they are kind of, avoiding this place? Hah, no matter. I. AM. QUITE. TIRED!!! My mind''s not in the state to ask for questions. Giving myself a nod, I jumped down to the crash site and opened my inventory, I rummaged through the inventory shop for portable camp tool, and only to find it in the Premium Shop. ... As much as I wanted to abuse the power of Infinite points of Premium Points... I kind of, getting wary for who knows what. But I do wonder if sleeping in-game would affect my Two hours playthrough timer? ... I hope not. It''d be a shame if my playthrough ended if we''re talking about being pranked by the admins. AGHHH- Thinking all of these kinds of trifling matters, it just makes my head even more mentally exhausted! Now let''s rest! I took out the Portable Camp Tool from the inventory and immediately set it in the middle of the crater. I didn''t have enough patience to take off my armor bit by bit since the Inventory won''t let me unequip things automatically, so I just took my helmet off and equipped my Military outfit for extra cold protection. ... The system. Apparently allows me to equip clothes and items automatically but unequipping requires me to manually work onto them. Puff- I pulled my sleeping bag''s sheets up and slept. Soundly. 4: Unexpected Guests Chapter 4: Unexpected Guests
My sleep was suddenly interrupted at late midnight, the reason was none other than being unable to deeply fall asleep due to the presence of high leveled monsters. I think it is pretty much normal for a person like me to feel inadequate to go sleeping soundly in the middle of monster crowds. Just from this distance, even though I saw these monsters being distanced from the crater miles away, I could hear their hideous roars. Mostly the sizzles of the Domain Devastator. I feel a cold foot whenever I hear them. Was it because I encountered a Domain Devastator before I came to be to this place? Their speed is abnormally fast, even for a snake-like creature, they are too fast. It''s like they are eels, with the wastelands'' sands being their water. And not to mention they shoot out fireballs. Although their aim was a bit off, it was dangerous to an extent it would burn me into cinders upon contacting with the fumes of the fire, the temperatures of these fireballs are beyond godly, maybe at the same level as the sun. After sensing nothing was wrong, I stretched my limbs, dusted off sands, and rubbed my eyes before I wore the helmet and took FAD out of the Inventory. I doubt about my sidearm penetrating the Domain Devastator''s scales or even the Domain Keeper''s carapace. And since I knew my Premium Points are infinite, I could abuse my gun to the extent. The Premium Points Shop doesn''t sell individual clips but rather, a whole box of ammunition. Though there is a limit on how many times you could purchase Ammunition boxes, for my rank, I could buy six at most while the next rank specifies an increase by one for Premium Shop purchase limitation. The ammunition boxes only refill your gun''s empty clips, or that how it would function. I am actually quite doubtful if this Ammunition Box would be sent straight to my Inventory or dropped from the skies, or placed instantly in front of me. But whatever, I''ll know once I require ammunition. Also, the Premium Shop allows me to recruit an NPC. Even though the War Points could, the War Points variant would be staying at your base of operations rather than accompanying you to the field. The tutorial on Shops specified that there are no limits on how many you could own but the daily limit of being able to hire NPCs are heavily dependent on your player Rank. There is actually no limitation on how many you could bring to the battlefield but expect heavy losses because... They are just NPCs and the ones they are fighting against is a damned player. Alright. Since we are done preparing. Let''s check the perimeter once again, the night is still young since the moon is still placed overhead, and the surroundings are much brighter than before. I leaped to the edge of the crater through using the armor''s enhancement and immediately checked the perimeter. I knew it. It wasn''t my mind that''s just creating the monster''s roar. They are actually a mile closer to my sleeping place. The monsters are slowly creeping towards the crater at an incredibly slow rate, and with their pace, I calculate they would be swarming the crater at daybreak. They all number more than a thousand from my view and the fog doesn''t allow me to see any further to their back. ... The sight of these monsters slowly moving towards me is... Horrifying. Their red eyes looked like, is heavily fixated onto my sorry figure. Scary... The monsters surround the crater all sides, there are no escape routes other than breaking my way through the crowds of these monsters. Would my gun be able to penetrate their shells? Let''s just say, it could but would require me to empty the clips. And that isn''t good. Are there any vehicles that could fly or perhaps, run through these beasts? I checked the Premium Shop thoroughly, sadly, every vehicle and gun that could be bought with Premium Points are locked until I reach the rank of Sergeant. I will be heavily depending on FAD until I could buy Premium Guns. The War Points shop has already unlocked starter guns for me, but they are expensive as heck. As much as possible. I don''t want to engage in battles until my appearance is reverted back to my ''Reality'' or until I... Am..? Hang on. I wasn''t logged out? Was it past two hours already? My playthrough timer should be up right now..? If I were to think logically, I doubt about the in-game time running much faster than the real-life time, I mean, the night and day actually feel real. The ascendence and descent of celestial objects seem so damn real. The moon, last time I saw it was on the edge of the horizon, and if the time was indeed fast forwarded, then it should be at daybreak by now. Hang on, weren''t there any watches in-game? Let''s see... Oh, there it is. Just by flipping your wrist, you could get a holographic display of time. It''s currently 2:00 AM. The seconds and minutes run correctly, not mistaking minutes for seconds which is a normal occurrence when the in-game time is fast-forwarded... So that means... The game or, this world runs the same time with Earth!? ... Am I really transmigrated?? AM I REALLY!? Wooo~ The senses becoming real is one of the evidence I have been transmigrated to the game''s world! I mean, the VR machine developers wouldn''t spend time creating that ''Sense warning'' at the start of the VR dive if it was indeed implemented. Alright, let''s hold the celebration for a moment, right now. I am in huge trouble! I ran around the crater''s edge as to check if I am really surrounded and seems like I am indeed caged in the midst of monster swarm. I can''t get out of this predicament just by running away.Unauthorized usage: this tale is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings. It seems like I am forced to engage in battle against these freaks, which numbered over thousands. It is frustrating but... Alright- CLICK! I clicked the safety trigger off and prepared myself for battle. I checked the monster swarm for the thinnest area and surprisingly, I found none. Should I... Fire? Lower their numbers while they are moving slowly towards me? Hmm. In worst case scenarios, I would be zerg rushed before I had the chance to even fire the second bullet. But the same goes if I don''t fire anything at all. I will be depending on the HE grenade of my FAD''s underbarrel attachment to make the way if things go south. As I remember, there is a place that I wanted to go and investigate, which is from the south. The labyrinth that Chelone was resting onto. Let''s go to that direction, I hope the monsters wouldn''t chase me that far. Alright, let''s do this! I heaved a breathe before I aimed my red dot sight onto the nearest target- A Domain Keeper- and pulled the trigger. TACK! TACK! TACK! The gun''s barrel spewed into flames as bullets traced their way towards the nearest target and eventually piercing the carapace. The Domain Keeper did not have the chance to retaliate and fell down into the ground. The gun is effective against these targets! I was surprised at first because their levels were higher than the usual maximum level but... They fall normally like zombies! The other monsters did not react to their fallen comrade and still moved forward at an incredibly slow pace. I was about to fire my second gun when a blue window creeped out of my right. [[First Blood! +10% EXP to Promotion]] Alright. Killing these monsters give me EXP! That''s a relieving piece of news, I thought I wouldn''t be able to gain EXP, considering I have been thrown to a completely different place and unable to finish the tutorial mission. It''s time to cleave your numbers into nothing! Give me EXP! TACK! TACK! TACK! I kept on releasing bullets from the distance and eventually, emptied my 5 clips. I quickly opened my Premium Shop and ordered for an ammunition box. I waited for a while, and during the wait, I also used my Pistol''s clips in no time. Even so, I was just expecting an ordinary ammunition box drop. I did not expect the event that would transpire this time. A whistle similar to that of the whistle of Jet came about to my ears. I looked up to the skies to find two sonic-speed modern fighter jets making their way towards my location. HOLY SHIT! BOOOM! BOOOM!!! BOOOM!!!! BOOOOM!!! Two F-22 Raptor came out of the night sky and fired their Air-To-Surface missiles, GBU-32 Joint Direct Attack Munitions which only numbered up to four if we were to include the other F-22 Raptor''s missiles, killing hundreds of monsters upon its wake. Not only that, but it also unleashed a strafe onto the monsters with its 20mm Multibarrel cannon before another huge beast of the skies unveiled itself and dropped my Ammunition box. The plane, which looked and moved like an almighty beast of the skies was ascertained by the system for me, it was the Lockheed C-5 Galaxy. My Ammunition box fell quickly due to its parachute''s design, and before it descended, the two F-22 Raptors that kept on doing strafe runs onto the monsters have joined the C-5 Galaxy and left the space. They have done TOO much for a simple delivery. I mean. Just looking at the numberless monster swarm... They have declined, Gradually. The northern monster group suffered the most since that''s where the F-22 jets dropped two of their bombs. The damned delivery is too much for me. WAIT. If the delivery is always like this, isn''t this simply Airstrike in a disguise!? Awesome! I promise to abuse this power from this point onwards. Sadly, these aircraft, unlike the recent C-17 Globemaster III that brought me here, they didn''t blow up into smithereens upon reaching a certain distance... Come to think of it, were they manned!? The C-17 Globemaster III did not have any personnel manning it. Since the plane debris itself vanished into the thin air and did not leave any corpses... Maybe that? And they didn''t even bother connecting to my comms device that is still active. Unmanned aircraft, how cool was that! ... But, I... I could''ve used some sort of SOS flare to take me away from this place... Right? Hmm, from the looks of both the Premium Shop and the War Points shop, there aren''t any SOS flares that will send a helicopter to my location. Ahem. Let''s now focus on surviving, shall we? I made my way swiftly towards the ammunition box. Just by touching the ammunition box, my empty clips inside my inventory were instantaneously refilled with ammo. I reloaded both my Sidearm and my Assault rifle and prepared to fire another round of bullets. That is when I received another unexpected guest. "GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAARR!!!!" AHH YES. Nothing good comes out without bad news. The roar was nonetheless louder than Chelone. It was more ominous and sounded draconic. I looked into the direction where the roar came to be and saw a VERY FAMILIAR MONSTER. Hell, I have seen him battling Chelone earlier before other monsters from the sands joined them. Crown-like angelic halo resting above its forehead. Golden scaled armor covering its entirety, claws that are sharper than any swords, and wing webs that looked like jet flames. It''s size surpassing Chelone with an almost 19-story high building. It was the dragon that Chelone fought earlier.
Mercurion
HP: Critically Low Mana: Low
Rank: World Aggregator Level: 35,000
Exposed Ability: Rage of Bahamut: Draconic Speed
Even though its HP and Mana are low, I couldn''t fight such a monster!!! Mercurion tried to go after the Jetfighters which, I suppose, attracted his attention with the explosives but later gave up due to the sheer speed of the Sonic jet fighters and went after the monster crowd. With an explosion of its descend- head first. It created a crater similar to that of Barringer Crater. BOOOOM! It instantly created a Tower of Babel level tower of pure sand and clouds of dust, along with the remains of monsters in the affected area. GUUUH! I was instantly put into my place, due to the magnitude of the impact, I was forced to roll towards the center of the crash crater. The shock is still lingering in my body and prevented me from standing up for a while, I forced myself to stand up and leaped out of the crater and saw the battle unfolding in front of me. The monster crowd instantly reverted their attention from the crater to Mercurion and started rushing towards him, engaging him into battle with everything they have. The Domain Devastators kept on firing their fireballs at a distance, and the Domain Keepers clawing their way into the armor of Mercurion. But the situation for the monsters turned for the worst. Mercurion wasn''t hurt by the slightest bit. It charged up its draconic flames and released it to the surroundings! BOOOOM!!! The molecular temperature reaction caused everything affected by the Dragon flames to explode on contact. The Domain Keepers that were attached to the armor of Mercurion were burned into nothing but ashes, the Domain Devastators that kept their distance weren''t safe from the flames. And I wasn''t an exception. My left arm caught in fire, good thing it was only the gauntlet that has caught the draconic flames or else I would be suffering over a burnt left arm. Surprisingly, it was easy to quench by using nothing but sands. I didn''t expect that at all since it was a damned Draconic flame, not just an ordinary... Fire that could be created through friction! The monster wave is getting thinner and thinner due to the interference of Mercurion. Just one swing of his claw could kill a number of Domain Keeper, and its Draconic flames were enough to kill thousands of Domain Devastators. And since this is a chance to leave the place without further engaging into battle, I instantly ran towards the south, where the Labyrinth that Chelone rose up from is located. I hope to come over Chelone on the way there so she could attract the attention of this monstrosity if it indeed came after me. And I am just hoping it wouldn''t go through the trouble reaching after me if I reached the Labyrinth. I kept looking back while I was running, Mercurion is still busy with the monsters so it''s not possible for it to revert its attention to my fleeting figure... Or that''s what I thought. "GROAAAAAAAAR!!!" Letting out another deafening roar towards me, I was immediately stupefied when I saw Mercurion making its way towards me with its jet dragon wings, and while it was flying towards me. It pierced one of its claws onto the ground and continued flying. It was really bent on killing me!!! The claw created a huge tsunami that I couldn''t hope to survive if I was engulfed within it. Mercurion was slowly making its way towards me... The face of death laughs within the sand tsunami, the glittering gold claw is slowly making its appearance out of the sand flood and towards me. Is... Is this, the end...? 5: Cheating Chapter 5: Cheating..?
SH-ACK!!! GWWOOOO-... My mouth uttered an unpleasant groan in the afterlife. The claws, the claws have already made its way. My eyes blackened the moment my head departed away from my body. Mercurion''s golden body, the sand tsunami, they were quickly devoured by the darkness. The feeling of having a whole body, gone in a flash. ... I didn''t even have the chance to feel the pain. The death was instantaneous. It came to me too fast, even my neural network couldn''t transmit the pain to the brain immediately. My body didn''t have a chance- My chest, my limbs, everything went zero. It didn''t have a slight resistance, the augmented armor that I wore didn''t even stop it from hitting my flesh. I was like a damned butter in front of a heated knife. His claws were too powerful. Too damn powerful. ... Ahh, what a waste of second time!! DAMN. The moment I discovered I was really transported to another world, was also the moment when I met my end. My life was short lived. I guess Death is inevitable in both worlds..? I mean, in my former world, I will be living the rest of my week in starvation if my neighbors wouldn''t be donating me any food at all. Well. There are chances they would be donating me some food. But. I doubt about it. They are not as good as the Samaritans of the Bible, so, therefore, my chances of death are at peak and there would be no other options than to pray and hope the week would pass by faster than what your stomach acid could do to your body. Something like these doesn''t often happen in Another World Novels, right? But... Why? Why did it happen to me? No. It wasn''t my fault. It wasn''t literally my fault. ... I concur... This guy. This son of a bitch that killed me, who has the appearance of a mightly jet-winged lizard had a damn terrifying sense of hearing. I didn''t think they could be easily called over with just mere sound of numerous explosions. I thought I would be needing more than a god damn explosion. Come to think of it. The moment Mercurion and Chelone were having a business of their own, the sound of their battle attracted a lot of monsters that led to a massive group battle. So which means... It was THAT thing''s fault? Yeah. That wasn''t my fault. My only fault was I couldn''t run faster than this dragon. It is an obvious result, ground motherfuckers are way slower than ones in the air. Therefore, death is inevitable if you were to be chased by something like a flying lizard that has jet thrusters for wings. But that doesn''t mean it was my fault entirely. It''s the system''s fault. The reason why I fucking died, it was this god damn system''s odd functions. The entire of it. Since I didn''t know the cursed Ammunition Delivery would work like that, being an airstrike in disguise. Well due to this... THIS.Cursed airstrike. Or much appropriateterm. THANKS TO THIS ACCURSED AIRSTRIKE. It attracted this son of a fucking golden flying lizard. The explosives that F-22 Raptors sent flying, they were the ones that called this damned Golden Dragon into my position! If the F-22 Raptors didn''t come, and instead of a whole Airforce convoy- a plain munition drop- Mercurion wouldn''t appear! I WOULDN''T HAVE DIED! FUUUCK-... Uh..? Hang on, why I could still think? Wasn''t I dead? Human brain systems shouldn''t last this long after being dismembered. I think you have at least one second worth of time before it shuts down. Completely. But it''s been a while, I have been talking to myself for a quite long time already. This is odd. Hm..? This is really weird! Why I could open my eyes? Am I not dead? With the uprising curiosity, I slowly opened my eyes... Everything was bloody, nightmarish, it was traumatizing to the point I would even squirm into depths of conscience. I could''ve puked the moment I came in contact with a... Bloodied organ. But I couldn''t. One of the perks of being dead, I assume? Yeah. As if you could be nauseated from this scenery without a brain. Everything that transpired was real. I really have died. The place I stood in was full of blood, all four of my limbs were dismembered and half of them were smashed into minced meat, my head... I shouldn''t mention it... The beautiful girl- no. The character I created... She... Dammnit. I feel, really... Sorry... I feel really sorry. Even though it is me, it wasn''t my body. It was just a character created by me. ... I wonder what the girl would feel if she had a life of her own and one day she got forcibly controlled by me... Would she condemn me for leading her to her demise eternally? ... That is no doubt, a normal conclusion. Even I would despise the one who forcibly led me to my own demise. It''s a damned common sense. Though. I am not yet dead. What is happening in here? I could''ve sworn- NO. It is already a fact I have died. I shouldn''t be able to see anything other than total darkness. Mercurion, as it may be, is still standing over there. Breathing heavily as if he was exhausted, looking at the blood bath with contemptuous eyes, directly straight to my dismembered body. It was as if he knew something was wrong. Mercurion staying here means something. After all, I am just a lowly human and there are thousands of monsters that are much more worthy of being slain. Then suddenly, a window appeared right in front of my eyes. I was right. Something was wrong, and it was answered by this!

... Res- RESPAWN!?
Warning, you will be respawning within 3 second(s).
What!? THE. HELLLL!!?! I HAVE THIS KIND OF- CHEAT!?
0 second has been reached. Respawning...
Suddenly, the dismembered body of my character and the blood she released turned into white particles. The same as when I achieved the blueprint of the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III. Mercurion, even though I could only see his claws from this point of view, I saw him visibly shudder from the happening. What the hell, I thought I was dead for sure!? But, respawn?! Really!? This... IS DEFINITELY CHEATING! The white particles in which came from my character''s body ascended up to the skies and after reaching a certain height, they entwined together and formed up a humanoid shape. This continued for a while until they have completely recreated my character''s appearance along with her equipment. My point of view was suddenly transferred to the eyesight of my newly created character. I was no longer floating around. The feeling of having your body back after losing it is quite odd. The neutrons that have been absent all the time came to me instantly at the same time, granting my body a short stasis of paralysis. Well, I am not surprised. They contain electricity and... If they were added all together and came to your body at the same time, that was enough to send you paralyzed in the ground for a while. Shit. I felt like I got shot by a taser again. This brought methe reminiscence of my rat past is coming back onto me! That damned Taser, if it weren''t for that shitty taser, I couldn''t have been caught. I could''ve been living my life in peace, without any problems at all! Even more, I would''ve had my own cellphone. I would''ve been working at a fancy office rather than staying outside, under the bathing of the afternoon sun. Everything would''ve been better if it weren''t for tasers. And before I curse further to the damned taser. I was already respawned. With the same state of the body before I was dismembered into pieces by Mercurion''s claws. The gun was already held by my character when I came to be. But of course, Mercurion did not have a pleasant look. "GWOOOOOAAAR!!!" Mercurion released a horrifying roar, and while I was still in a damned stasis of short paralysis. He raised his leg and- He stomped onto me. BOOOOOOOM!~! With. Fucking. Full. Force. And it wasn''t all, he wasn''t satisfied with the stomp, he leaped up high into the skies and charged up his draconic flames, though it was different from the draconic flames he released into the Domain pests earlier. It has a more distinctive shape and size. More like... A god damn concentrated fireball!!! He then released that fireball into my position which got horribly flattened into just a pool of blood and completely disintegrated my body. It erupted into the skies with great intensity- rivaling that of the sun''s luminescence. I watched all of that scene unfold. Without feeling even the slightest pain. Damn. This is my second time dying. With that being said, the window for respawning appeared again. This time, it was 15 seconds. Though the wait time was shorter than expected. The occurrence relapsed again right in front of my eyes, I was respawned and immediately paralyzed due to the instantaneous arrival of my senses to their places inside my body. Mercurion did not have the second thought and killed me again, but this time, it was more brutal. I was directly torched with his searing draconic flames. I didn''t feel any pain from it since I got obliterated before I even had contact with the body of the flames. He kept releasing the draconic flames even after nothing remained in place. And again. After respawning, getting paralyzed. I died by Mercurion''s hands. It repeated. Over, and over. ... And over. And every time I respawn, the methods he uses worsens. From just stomping, to complete annihilation. It keeps on going. Until I reached the respawn time of2 minutes. I even used my War Points to respawn the moment Mercurion left... But. I didn''t think the fucking Stasis would last for two minutes! Until Mercurion arrived, I couldn''t do anything but lay down still..! AGHHH!- What is this bullshit paralysis!? Hang on, did I just waste my ONLY WAR POINTS FOR NAUGHT!? AGHHHHHH!!! I kept dying! OVER, AND OVER!!! I. AM. SO. TIRED. OF. THIS!!! Mercurion would leave from his spot after killing me and would come back after I respawned. Like, he already knew the pattern of my respawn. Every time I die, 5 seconds would be added to my Respawn Timer... He would always come back in time, even coming back with a dead Domain monster on his talons. He would kill me in the worst possible ways, and always not letting anything intact, even an inch of blood would be left obliterated to his flames. Hell, not even a speck of my ashes! This is so frustrating. Have he know chivalry!? I am just a plain, ordinary human!!! A powerless human!!! GAAAAAHH!!!! LEARN YOUR PLACE, YOU FUCKIN'' DRAGON!!! I SWEAR TO SHOOT YOU IF IT WEREN''T FOR THIS PARALYSIS. I SWEAR TO GOD, IF I EVER GOTTEN THE POWER THAT IS FAR MORE STRONGER THAN YOU, EVEN IF IT ONLY LASTS ONE SECOND, I WILL FUCKIN'' SKEWER YOU ALIVE! STOP! IT! LOOK- MY CHARACTER LOOKS PITIFUL RIGHT NOW! GOD DAMMNIT, STOPPPP!!!! STOOOOOOOOOOOOOPPPP ... I have been continuously dying for... 15... Cursed.Hours. More precisely, my respawn time became one hour. For the whole 15 hours, he kept camping me and killing me non-stop. He would actually waste a fricking time on killing someone like me. A god-like monster like him! And right now, I have respawned. From the ashes. The sun has already risen. The desolate temperature is coming back to my senses right now, I have longed to survive... Survive for more than a second after getting respawned. The same process occurred to my body, I was immediately placed on paralyze the moment my Perspective was transferred to my reconstructed body. I am now currently in the ground, waiting for my paralysis to wear off, which would after two minutes of waiting. I doubt about Mercurion coming back on time since... He was a tad a bit late the last time I respawned. I mean like, 5 minutes late. I managed to run a few steps before Mercurion caught me and killed me with six concentrated fireballs. He is that merciless... Though, I just noticed this. I think he is getting tired of killing me... I mean, his actions became slower and slower, his expression became stiff and seemingly bored whenever he faces me. Heck, Mercurion even slept for the entire hour until I respawned and... Killed by a slash of his claw and obliterated by his draconic flames. Though he doesn''t seem to be happy from killing me. It seems like, he is losing something else? Maybe that, or I am just imagining things. ... Haha, how could I even distinguish expression on that armored head of his? I mean, his face looked ominous and edgy, he looked like the King of Monsters. Heck, I would even bow down myself in his presence if it weren''t for this... Consecutive SPAWN KILLING! I no longer see the King of Monsters in him, when he was fighting Chelone yesterday, I thought he was very cool and mighty. I thought he was the coolest Dragon I''ve seen in my entire life, the golden armor, the crown-like halo, jet thrusters for wings. He is god damn cool. But now... I can only see the face of a mindless monster that kills anything that moves. And another funny thing, other than the mindless dragon, Mercurion. He actually unearthed a labyrinth below just from killing me. I am right now, laying down in an exposed labyrinth hall which seemed to be 200 hundred meters down. I couldn''t even see the sun from this angle, but I know, the sun has already risen due to the sparkling vibrant colors being painted on the skies. Also... This isn''t a piece of bad news for me. Instead of worrying about being unable to see the surface, I am actually relieved Mercurion unearthed a labyrinth hall. Within the end of the hallway... my safety is guaranteed... If I could just move away from here. I will never die again. PING! The sound of my body becoming responsive came about to my mind. It has been two minutes since I have been respawned, so I could move now. Though, moving seems to be harder than usual. Maybe it was because of that..? Yeah. That. The consecutive dying. Due to 15 hours of dying and laying down, I wasn''t able to get a grasp of my body and lost the feeling of it, so at most, I could control my body less efficient than what I could do. But that won''t stop me from running away. I will escape from this infinite cycle of dying! I leaned onto the walls of the labyrinth for support, and weakeningly walked to the end of the labyrinth... But it seems... "GROAAAAAAAAARR!!!!" Nothing''s gonna save me now... He went back faster than what I expected. BOOOOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!!! My body turned into nothing after coming in contact with the familiar flames. Literally. The labyrinth hall collapsed, my only way of escape... Was entirely blocked. And the waiting game repeats itself. ... And after an hour, after I got respawned. I was expecting to die, but I didn''t expect this to happen. Mercurion patiently waited for me to respawn the whole time. After my body finished reconstructing, my perspective returning and getting a stasis of two minutes, he suddenly grabbed me and looked at me deeply. His draconic eyes shimmering brightly right in front me. My silhouette is visibly shuddering from my visible reflection on his eyes. It wasn''t me that''s being scared... Pfft, why would I be scared? I died numerous times, there''s nothing to be scared of! I swear it''s not me but... It was actually my avatar. The avatar I created just for aesthetic purposes. She''s having her own emotions... What the hell... She is me, why is she having emotions!? This doesn''t make any sense. And just in case I didn''t tell you from the start, the paralysis time was for my soul to get a grasp on my body. ... So which means... THIS GIRL IS ALIVE!!?!?! HOLY SHIT!? Mercurion just held me and examined me as if he is CURIOUS about my respawning ability. Nothing happened until I finally got out of the paralysis state. "Human..." "Who are you..?" Mercurion spoke... I instantly felt chills running down my spine the moment I heard his voice. 6: Mercurion Chapter 6: Mercurion
"Who are you exactly, Human?" Nghh...- Mercurion spoke the moment I had the grasp of my body, his hand which held my entire body was slowly tightening as if he couldn''t wait for my reply. I was surprised that this guy doesn''t only frantically roar all the time, he could speak like me. His voice is much deeper than his roars, or more precisely, more like an old war veteran trying out cool and edgy voice-over techniques. But, ah... I can''t speak. Mercurion''s grasp included my chest so I had a hard time breathing. Not only the big breasts were in the way, but the armor''s additional plating was also included. I had to make my breaths as short as an inch and inhale in from the mouth or else I would be suffocated to death. The nose couldn''t supplement the body alone due to the limitations for breathing. And now he''s pressuring me by slowly gripping tightly onto my body. In addition to the suffocation, there is this... Super hot aura of Mercurion. There wasn''t enough oxygen in the area. Any moment now... I could pass out due to lack of air. I want to breathe! I am slowly suffering. My body becoming heavier, my head is being filled with air, my breathing became harder and more desperate. Adrenaline started to make things worse as it made me shudder even harder. My vision is slowly blurring. My senses are dulling. Fuck-... I wanna breathe! "Can''t... Breathe..." My voice subconsciously cried out. I doubt Mercurion hearing it. And if he did, it would be much better for a god-like monster like him to kill me instead of heeding to my needs. Since it was just but a whimper from a lowly human like me. "... Will you answer my question if I let you breathe?" There- There is no time to think about the consequences. I want to breathe!!! "P-Please..." Mercurion loosened up his grip and turned off his Jet wings, the air slowly returned to its original temperature, oxygen is coming back to the area and... COOOOUGH- COUGH. COUGH!!! I, grasped for air desperately. It lasted for a whole minute before my entire person stabilized. My skin color is coming back from being pale blue, heartbeat''s rhyme steadying, and my vision is becoming somewhat clearer for every second passes by. "Now it seems you are fine. Answer." Mercurion bellowed coldly. "Who. Are. You?" Due to my dulled senses, I wasn''t able to perceive his voice. My ears are still ringing at this point. Though the moment he stopped speaking, was the moment I could almost hear properly. "You are a human... No, I... I must refrain from lumping you, an immortal human that could resurrect even without an inch of your remains, to those trashes." "... You are a permanence of a being who exudes an aura of not existent to this world yet existing... An immortal being that is supposed to exist in another world made by God." "A contradiction of existence. You are that kind of being, therefore, you are different from these rascals that call themselves Humanity." Hey! I am a god damn human, can''t you see!? "I do not know what you think of. But, as far as I could judge your abilities. You are... Much worse than her. Avarice, the nine-tailed World Aggregator who has the same ability to resurrect, just like you." "Though only once..." Mercurion wasn''t bothered by the lack of reply at the least bit. He continued speaking at a discerning tone that carried a hollow defeat. I was able to ascertain his voice tone because... That was the same tone I used when I got caught by the police. The taste of defeat... On a god-like monster like him..? Did something happen while I was away respawning? Out of my notice? Maybe he fought somebody and lost while I was under the stasis of the respawning process? And, probably, he uses me as a toy to vent out his frustrations... He did say Avarice though. Maybe it was another monster that is on par with his godly powers and... Maybe his rival? His rival that he couldn''t afford to lose against with but when they battled again, he lost..? Or, I am just misunderstanding things. "You may have your reasons as to why you don''t speak about your identity, but whatever, I have lost enough face on trying to kill an immortal being like you." Mercurion lowered his head as he spoke. He looked pretty much depressed from his actions. Did he lose something more than his pride? More than that... Trying to kill an IMMORTAL BEING? Are you nuts? You killed me many times already, fool! "You see, immortal being, I am a being that takes contentment as the most powerful World Aggregator in these lands. I am a being that transcends every World Aggregator-class Monster that lives inside this world layer." "I am a being that takes joy in slaying foe. Be it the weakest, be it the strongest... Be it... god." Takes joy in slaying foes...Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings. THEN SHOULDN''T YOU BE HAPPIER!? YOU HAVE SLAIN ME FOR MORE THAN THOUSAND TIMES!!!! "I have long tried with every inch of my power, my sacred divine power that would make even World Aggregator-ranked monsters cower in fear, in killing you... Completely." "But to think... I couldn''t destroy someone like you... Who has the ability to defy death, even if you have to exchange time as the cost... It is disheartening at most." "Disheartening? Me? You couldn''t kill me?" I subconsciously splurted a question that I couldn''t prevent from leaking out the moment he said those words. Mercurion looked up to the skies after hearing my voice. "Immortal being. You are the evidence that I might... No. You are the evidence that, I, the World-Aggregator who preys on other World-Aggregators, the one who considers himself the King amongst the Kings have no standing in the face of God. The God that created this world, the one and true God, the Creator and at the same time, the Destroyer of the worlds." Faced against God..? This guy? Facing God? "Are you planning on facing God..?" I asked out of PURE CURIOSITY. Even if it is obvious, I must get a piece of information out of this guy. I am getting more and more curious about this guy. Is he proving that by killing me, who has the ability to respawn several times over, he could kill God? WELL. My hatred hasn''t gone to the drain at least bit... I still hate this guy. I loathe him to the bone. "It is indeed so... To become the apex predator of this world... One must destroy God. And to destroy the one who has the ability to Create and Destroy, you must become a monster beyond one''s imaginations." "I used to believe I have the sufficient power to take on even Death, the one that God fears, but now, you... Immortal being... You proved to me that my powers were... Just but a fraction of God''s capabilities." Mercurion sadly said and lowered me down to the floors of the Labyrinth Halls without the hostility he had earlier. "If God is capable of gifting someone like you, a power that defies Death''s grasp." "Then that would mean God is also capable of gifting himself immortality that transcends even yours." "I loathe your ability to resurrect many times over as it makes me feel weaker than anything else that moves in this world." I seeeee. I could make sense of his logic now. BUT THAT DOESN''T MEAN YOU SHOULD KILL ME MANY TIMES OVER!!!!! THAT FUCKING FRUSTRATES ME! "... Even I... Tried to escape that reality by preying on monsters while you were being resuscitated... The reality that I couldn''t kill you with the best of my power... Thinking about it, it makes me even feel sorry about myself." Somehow, I could feel his depression becoming worse every minute or every word he speaks. ... Is the effect of being unable to prevent me from respawning that harsh on this... Guy''s mentality? How sad. Yet, I don''t feel the slightest of sympathy for you, fool! A braindead dragon that would kill the same fucking person for almost a day non-stop. Fucking asshole, you must regret it! Those decisions of yours! I hope God would smite you down for your sins! "... Your existence... It is preventing me from reaching further heights while it is here. I want you to leave. Although, a part of my heart does wish you remain here so I could, someday, prove that even Immortal Beings like you could be slain with sheer power." Asshole!!!! You want to kill me again!? Not happening, I want to leave. Even though I don''t feel it, I could clearly see my body being shaken from his presence. It is as clear as the day that I have been inflicted with PTSD! From your consecutive killing, alone! "But I must refrain from letting you stay here any longer. I will be blind by my own passion to get stronger which is not a must for Predatory World Aggregator like me. As the wisest World Aggregator says, you cannot hope to achieve Nirvana with just one. Simple. Goal in mind. Which will become a reality if you were to remain here for too long." Yes, yes. I agree. Now let me live and get me out of this place! Dammnit, I wanted to say all of these things but I couldn''t I am like being kept silenced by an invisible wall! What the hell is this!? "For the better of my future, for the greater change, and for my goal of which to achieve the heights that one will never fathom. I will assist you in leaving this place, least, expect help not anywhere better than just a mere guide, Immortal being. I wasted enough time and precious Primary Mana in attempts to wipe your Contradiction of Existence off the surface of this world." Mercurion suddenly reared up and opened his mouth, he aimed it towards me and started charging. His action brought about great despair to me. My knees gave out and fell down hopeless as I saw the fireball I loathed so much, charge up right in front of my eyes. "Before I help you, let me kill you one more time... If I managed to kill you, then that would be for the better of my future, if not. Then I shall reflect on myself." ... AH. I SEE. You fucking asshole, he wants to kill me again!!! He''s using these ''so-wise'' words so that he would look like someone who is in great despair or maybe trying to look someone who will be changing for the better after he killed this ONE GUY!! My avatar''s body shook like hell, her area was soiled, and from the reflection of Mercurion''s eyes. Her expressions weren''t fitting with my emotions. Her eyes were widened and she was crying... THIS IS HIS- HIS FAULT!!! THIS ISN''T MINE!!! "Ahh- FUCK YOU MERCURION!!!! YOU MADE A GIRL CRY!!!!" "Goodbye, Immortal being." "Turn to your back once you get resurrected... If you got indeed..." "Resurrected after this blow." "MOTHERFUCKER!!!" "We shall meet again, in the future." BOOOOOOOOMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...
0 second has been reached. Respawning...
Ah- yes... I have finally resurrected after counting grains of sand for almost one hour and a half. My perspective immediately joined up with my newly constructed body and paralyzed me for two minutes. The same process all over again. And while we wait, I guess I should... Curse. Yeah. CONDEMN THAT ASSHOLE OF A FLYING LIZARD FOR KILLING US AGAIN!!! Even though he ''complimented'' us several times over during our conversation, I still loathe him! That fucking Mercurion. I swear. If I have been a little bit stronger to tank at least one of his attacks, I could''ve skewered him alive with bullets. Hmmm..? But now he is gone. Ah, no matter, we''ll see him later after 2 or more minutes. Maybe right after we recover from paralysis. More than that, it is really weird... Why is my Avatar having a share of her emotions? Shouldn''t I be the one who is in charge of her emotions? ... Wait, come to think of it. The senses I am feeling right now feels like... I am holding a remote control? It is much different from the first time I entered this world, where I could feel every inch of pleasure, temperature and the rest of the senses. Did my control over the body... Gradually wears down as I keep on dying!? I could only speculate that theory... But... This doesn''t make any sense at all. How could an avatar that I created have a share of her emotions!!!! That makes me confused! That one statement! Human has only one brain, or in perspective of religious man- We only have one soul and our body could only hold one but not two! Unless our character has developed multiple pers-... Wait. That''s it!!!!! MULTIPLE PERSONALITIES ONLY APPEARS TO A HUMAN BEING WHEN SHE OR HE EXPERIENCES AN EVENT THAT ENOUGH TO TRAUMATIZE YOU FOR YOUR ENTIRE LIFE! Maybe... Maybe that...! I am no psychologist but, I think I know why she has an emotion. If it''s incorrect, then that''s fine. Since I don''t know if my speculations are even correct to begin with. I have done... Some research whenever I had free time... And the topics I research were, Umm. Found in Hairbook... I am this kind of person who has these kinds of friends on Hairbook that share their experiences and problems... Nonsense included. PING! The mechanical sound of my paralysis being over rang into my ears and broke my train of thoughts, I didn''t heed on it any further since it was breaking and exhausting my brain faster than what I could use during exams. I weakly stood up from my place, and hurriedly leaned onto the walls for support. I still couldn''t get a grasp of my body, just 16 hours and 30 minutes are enough to remove your handling of the human body. It feels like I have become a toddler again. With an adult body, of course. Alright, how do we get out of here..? Looking up, it seems possible to climb up there with the use of augmented armor but... I doubt about... Surviving from that height if I indeed lost a grip from either of those, brittle sandstones, since they are known to be the brittlest rock on the planet. Hmmm. Hang on, I remember about Mercurion mentioning about... Turning around when I get resurrected..? I slowly looked back and I saw the Labyrinth hall again, the one that collapsed was opened once again... Except it was now lit with Dungeon lights similar to that Labyrinth I saw where Chelone was apparently resting about. Except it was livelier. Monsters that... Look weaker... Than Domain monsters? They are not goblins, they are not slimes either. They weren''t part of the Domain monster family either. They were skeletons. Skeletons that belong to HUMANS!
