《I Get a Second Chance and Accidentally Become a God》 Hey, Arent I Too Overpowered First day of school as a junior: My homeroom is summoned to another world. That same day: I meet her 7 years later: We fail our mission, I die. ¡¡ So, then, how am I sitting here? Back in my old world, as a student once again. My body is exactly as I remember it, before the transfer. I grab my phone, fumble around in trying to turn it on, and check the date. It is June 14th. The day after school lets out for summer. That means I have the entire summer until the first day of school. By that I mean, an entire summer until the transfer. Last time, I wasn''t able to act selfishly, to do what I wanted. This time, I don''t care what it costs, I will live with the woman I came to love. The time I have before the transfer is very useful, because of how the transfer affected those in it. It wasn''t some random distribution of cheat skills, like you read in the novels. Instead, it takes whatever skills you have in this world, and amplifies them. A lot. Last time, I got and Arithmetic was pretty useless, considering our purpose in that world was to fight against monsters. Reading was surprisingly useful, due to it''s range of use. Not only could I read entire books within just a few minutes, I could also read a variety of other things. For instance, someone¡¯s intentions, a monster¡¯s next move, the entire makeup of the enemy¡¯s magical formula. It also doubled as an analysis skill, which is surprisingly rare. Parallel thinking allowed me to multitask. Not in the way where you just switch between two things very quickly, but truly multitasking. Writing an essay and drawing something simultaneously would have been no problem for me at the time. The acting skill allowed me to easily, well, act. Of course, it was so convincing that no one had ever seen past me. I got each of these for certain reasons. because I am an avid reader. because I am among the top students in math. because I am always attempting to multitask. Finally, because I am never really letting my true self show. It¡¯s not like it¡¯s because I¡¯m doing anything bad, I just want to fit in. On that note, I don¡¯t really have any friends. I¡¯m friendly with plenty of people, but there¡¯s no group at my school that I would fit in with. Well, it doesn¡¯t matter now. After all, I¡¯m seven years older than them, with plenty more life experiences. In fact, I¡¯m not even a virgin anymore. Actually, I¡¯m sure there are a bunch of people in my class who can say the same, which just makes me feel bad when I remember that I definitely would have stayed a virgin at least until the end of high school. Well, no matter. I will use this summer so that I can become the strongest in the other world. ¡¡ My first stop, the gym. Some of my classmates got the skill, which increases all aspect of physical power, and also endurance.these people could punch rocks to pieces. In my past life, I became a sage using my skills, but I was sorely lacking in my close combat abilities. I¡¯ll start with the skill, as it¡¯s the best for an overall increase in physical capabilities. While I was exercising, I realized something incredible. I still have my four main skills. I didn¡¯t realize before, because there was no reason to activate them, but parallel thinking is a passive ability. They are each very watered down compared to my peak, but they will help immensely. Before I even knew it, I was running on the treadmill, adjusting it¡¯s speed, and also looking at the calendar on my phone. I had exactly 79 days until the first day of school. As I continued to exercise, I started to plan out how I would distribute my time during these few months. It was fairly easy using and . During the time I had, I would learn these new skills, , , , , , , , , and . Those were the ideal skills that I could think of for now. Of course, to actually have something be identified as a skill is more difficult than just doing it a few times. You can¡¯t just swing a hammer at metal, then call yourself a blacksmith. You have to at least know what you¡¯re doing in each of these things. Luckily, I had learned many things in my past life, so I should be able to get each of these fairly quickly. If there¡¯s any time leftover, I will use it to acquire even more skills. And in case you¡¯re wondering, it seems that I can still use some elementary level magic in this world, which should allow me to get the skill. is basically just chemistry. has to do with wisdom and worldly knowledge, so I might even already be good in that sense. Just to be sure, though, I will use my reading skill to read the classics, like Machiavelli. ¡¡ After weeks of training ¡®till I pass out, or reading ¡®till my eyes burned, it is finally time. My first day of school. The day of the transfer. Without a doubt, I¡¯ll be the strongest this time. Then I can be myself, be selfish, and do what I want. There were a few greetings as I came into the class. To be honest, I can¡¯t recall most of their names. Of the 15 students in the class, around 6 died within the first year. Most survived much longer than that, but I was alone for the last two years. It won¡¯t be like that this time. If I have to massacre the demon¡¯s armies to be free, then I will do so immediately. So that I can leave them behind without a guilty conscience. I sat down in my seat at 7:50. We should be teleported just as the first bell of the day rings at 7: 55. As I sat there, staring at my watch, someone surprisingly approached me. ¡°Mason, what is up, my dude. I didn¡¯t see you at all this summer. Have you been working out? You look ripped.¡± Jason, the friendliest guy in class, or maybe even the whole school. He survived until the fifth year, because he is a boxer, and got the skill. Usually people who act this friendly are actually mean, or have some other ulterior motive. Not Jason, he¡¯s an all-around nice guy. Oh yeah, my name is Mason, did I forget to say that? ¡°What¡¯s up, Jason. Yeah, I figured I¡¯d get myself a beach bod this summer.¡± Naturally, I wouldn¡¯t tell him that we will all be summoned to a different world in just a minute. ¡°Sick, man. See ya later!¡± He walked off towards his main group of friends. In this school, my standing is fairly neutral. I¡¯m the guy who everyone knows, nobody hates, and nobody loves. I¡¯m just¡ there. I don¡¯t mind it, talking to people is usually just a nuisance, not to mention that I was even more anti-social in my past life. The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. Luckily, I won¡¯t have to worry about that in just a minute. I¡¯ll be free to avoid whoever I want. Then, I can see her. I will never get bored of being with her. As I was reminiscing, a magical circle appeared under everyone¡¯s feet. I smiled, so it was finally time! ¡¡ In a white space, everyone but me was freaking out. ¡°HEEELLLLLOOOOOO, WHERE ARE WE!!???¡± It was kinda annoying, to be honest. Couldn¡¯t they just shut up for a few seconds, until the god¡¯s show up. Just as I thought, blinding lights started to descend all around us. They were the gods of this world. ¡°Greetings, children. I am Falda, the God of Creation, and these are my fellow god¡¯s.¡± Everyone was in shock, but they couldn¡¯t really deny it for one simple reason. Falda was, simply put, huge. Like, each hair of his was longer than the Empire State Building. He had grey hair, and a friendly smile. He wore a toga. As far as I can remember, he is the most worshipped god in the world. Beside him was Inka, the Goddess of Beauty. I wonder why she doesn¡¯t look as beautiful as I remember, though? Also around us were the God of War, the Goddess of Wisdom, and some others who didn¡¯t have as high a standing. ¡°W-Why are we here? Where are we?¡± Jason was the first to get his wits about him, and asked what everyone else was thinking. ¡°You are in a different world, with swords and magic. You are here because the power balance of the world is in danger, and the world will collapse at this rate.¡± Falda wasn¡¯t lying. The demons have created outrageously powerful artificial demons. They alone could take over every other race in the world with ease. Although I don¡¯t understand the whole ¡®world collapsing¡¯ bit, I don¡¯t really care. ¡°How can we help? We¡¯re just normal students.¡± Jason asked frantically. ¡°Do not worry, we cannot create new skills for you, but we can take any skills that you currently have, and boost them to their limit. This will allow you to thrive in this world. We will give them now, so please don¡¯t panic.¡± Just like last time, a light surrounded us for a quick 10 seconds. When it died down, I could feel the difference in my ability. I have definitely reached where I was at the peak of my last life-no, I¡¯ve far surpassed it. ¡°This world is just like one of those RPG¡¯s from your world. Now, say [status].¡± Everyone did so after their shock died down, including me. I eagerly looked at my status screen. Strength:4,300 Constitution:8,600 Dexterity:7,100 Intelligence:106,000 Skills: Etc. My parameters nearly scared the shit out of me. In my previous life, my highest strength was 900. This is considered a fair bit above the strongest human. My constitution was even more pitiful, at around 600, which is about equal to the strongest human. My dexterity wasn¡¯t ever too bad, at around 2,000. My intelligence was the pride of my last life, but the highest it ever reached was 14,000. All these, compare to the normal human, are amazing, but the artificial demons still took us all out. However, with my current stats, I simply can¡¯t see myself losing. To anything. I then scrolled through my skills. I got everything I trained for. There were even some others that I did not expect, but will gladly welcome, such as which I assume came from my previous life. There was an odd skill, called . I used my reading skill on it, to acquire more information Devotion: You have devoted all your love to one person. Effects: Immunity to all mind-affecting abilities Oh, this was quite good. Haha, she¡¯s helping me even now, before I¡¯ve met her in this time. ¡°What¡¯s the average person¡¯s status like in this world?¡± Jason, who seemed to have become the leader, asked. ¡°The average person has about 5 in each stat, and low-leveled daily use skills, like . The strongest human has about 700 in each stat, and two high-leveled fighting skills.¡± ¡°Wha-then aren¡¯t I too powerful!? My strength is 2,000!!¡± ¡°Well, that is when you compare yourself to a human. The enemies we want you to stop are the demons, specifically those working on the artificial demon project. The average artificial demon has about 4,000 in each stat. There¡¯s no need to worry of course, none have nay high-level skills. Not to mention you guys still have potential for growth.¡± Jason let out a breath of relief. ¡°Oh, well in that case, we¡¯ll be sure to stop these demons for you.¡± ¡°I must give you my gratitude. Us gods have worn ourselves out by upgrading your skills, so we cannot be sure of your abilities. However, with a strength of 2,000, you will surely be on your way to defeating those demons. Do you have any questions?¡± This time, it was a black-haired girl who spoke up. If I recall correctly, her name was Jan-wait, maybe it was Jen-or maybe Jess? It definitely started with a J. She was a pretty girl, and I think she became a spearman. ¡°Is there any way for us to return home?¡± My ears perked up at this, she didn¡¯t ask last time. How odd. I used on her, and checked her skills. I was both disappointed and relieved to find out that she wasn¡¯t like me. She didn¡¯t have or any other skills that would come with going back in time. The rest of her stats were normal as well. Also, her name is Jenna. I was close enough. Either way, I was interested in hearing Falda¡¯s answer. If it turns out that I get summoned back as soon as the demons are defeated, I might have to keep them alive somehow. After all, I don¡¯t want to go back to my world, if I did, I would¡¯ve just stayed out of the room this morning. ¡°When, you finish the mission we have given you, you can either stay in this world, or return to your old one. Is that all?¡± Perhaps given courage by Jenna¡¯s question, others began to speak up as well. ¡°Why can¡¯t you deal with this yourselves?¡± It was a valid question, but I knew the reason for it. ¡°While our stats are easily enough to defeat the enemies, we can¡¯t interfere in the world. If we did, it would only hasten the collapse of the world.¡± Hmmm, interesting. I was never sure if the gods actually saw their status like we do, but it seems they even have their own stats. Legitimately curious, I asked. ¡°So, what are your stats like?¡± Falda seemed amused by my question. ¡°Hahaha, our stats are many times greater than the human limit. Each of them reaches at least 75,000.¡± Damn, that¡¯s amazing. ¡°However, for the things we are more specialized in, we can even have 99,999.¡± Eh? Wai-surely I heard wrong. I¡¯m sure that in their fields, gods can reach up to much more than 99,999. Perhaps he meant to say 9,999,999. ¡°I¡¯m sorry, could you repeat that?¡± My voice shook a little as I spoke. ¡°No need to be so amazed, boy. But yes, it¡¯s true that we can even reach up to 99,999 in a stat. Roa, our goddess of wisdom, even has an intelligence stat of 99,999.¡± ¡°¡¡± Huh? I knew I was broken, but isn¡¯t this too much? So I¡¯m actually smarter than the goddess of wisdom. No, that can¡¯t be it. I¡¯m sure she has a skill or something that makes her smarter than me. I discreetly read Roa¡¯s status. ...Luckily, it seems like there is one. Goddess of Wisdom: You are the wisest in the land. Your advice is sought after by the masses. Effects: You make only the wisest of choices. What a vague description. Now that I think about it, I should also check the effects of some of my skills. Though I had in the last life, it was only medium-level. The effects have probably changed now that it¡¯s at such a high level. Sage: You look at worldly affairs objectively. Effects: Mana regeneration x10. Maximum Mana x10. All lies are seen through. What an overpowered skill. Before, it only doubled my mana and it¡¯s regeneration. Even then it¡¯s considered an extremely high class skill. It even has a lie detector now. In this world, there is such a thing as mana, which is based directly off of the intelligence stat. There is no MP bar, however. You can tell how much you have through just feeling it. It¡¯s an instinctual mage thing, don¡¯t question. While I¡¯m at it, you may have noticed that there isn¡¯t an HP bar either. That¡¯s because such a thing would be ridiculous. If I cut someone¡¯s head off, they are dead, that¡¯s all there is to it. On that same note, throwing rocks at something much stronger than you for hours on end would never kill it. Just because there are stats and skills, doesn¡¯t mean this world is a game. While thinking this, I looked away from the skill¡¯s screen, and scrolled through my other skills, to see if there was anything else interesting. ... Um, what? God of Magic: You alone hold the secrets to all magic in the world. Effects: 99.9% decreased mana consumption. Mana Regeneration x100. Maximum Mana x100. All affinities increase to 100%. Free control of mana. Magical formulas no longer required. 99.9% increased magic resistance The Intelligence: All information is within your grasp Effects: Find the answer to any question you have. Well this is just unfair. How the hell did I even get the skill!? Also, what¡¯s up with this ?? It sounds amazing. I tried using it, after all, if it can answer my every question like it says, then I¡¯ll know why I have it. When I used it, a screen like the status screen popped up in front of me. It had a white background, a search bar, and in bright colors, ¡®Google¡¯. ¡°...¡± Seriously? I¡¯ll brush it off for now, I can ignore that much after the consecutive shocks I¡¯ve been given today. I didn¡¯t actually need to type anything in, I just had to think of it. When I thought ¡®How did I get and ¡¯, a screen came up. God of Magic requirements: Intelligence greater than 75,000. skill. skill. Use supreme magic of every attribute at least once. Use grand supreme magic of at least one attribute. Understand the essence of magic. The Intelligence requirements: Intelligence greater than 100,000. I see, so that¡¯s why. I get most of it, but what¡¯s the essence of magic? Even after I asked multiple times to , it never responded. Whatever, apparently I understand it. ¡°Mason!¡± I jumped and instinctively readied an incineration magic before realizing it was just Jason. I seem to have spaced out for a minute there. ¡°What?¡± ¡°Do you have any other questions? Falda said he would send us to a field leading to the kingdom, and that they already know that we will be arriving.¡± I had almost forgot that we don¡¯t get teleported straight to the castle. ¡°Ok, I¡¯m ready, no other questions.¡± ¡°Got it, we¡¯re all prepared, Falda.¡± Falda smiled and laughed. ¡°Haha, then I wish you luck.¡± With that, we truly started our journey into another world. Well, it¡¯s not like it¡¯s my first time. Hey, Isnt This Kind of Annoying Suddenly, we were in an open field. It felt good to see so many colors again after being stuffed into that white room for the last half hour. In the distance, the kingdom was clearly visible. Even more amazing was that the castle could be easily picked out from such a distance. There was a good hour walk to the castle, not to mention that it would be over countless hills. I looked at those I knew would be magician¡¯s with pity. Though the walk alone wouldn¡¯t be much of a problem, they would probably be worn out by the stream of monsters we¡¯ll encounter. Without wasting any time, Jason began to lead us toward the kingdom. Just a few minutes later¡ ¡°KKKYYYAAAAA¡± I stared, totally unimpressed, at the tiny green thing in front of us. A goblin. One of the weakest monsters. Not at all a threat to our group. That¡¯s why I expected this to go smoothly. But just WHY does everyone have to scream. I mean, sure, they¡¯re pretty gross, but if you scream when seeing this, there¡¯s no way they¡¯ll be able to stomach seeing some of the undead monsters. I sighed and used a simple wind blade to take them all out. I was too impatient to wait for Jason to build up the courage to attack. He was one of the few who didn¡¯t scream, and the only one who didn¡¯t recoil. Except for me, of course. As I saw the goblin heads fly into the air, and blood spray around, I was satisfied for only a moment. More screams erupted around me, along with a healthy amount of crying. Even Jason fell down in shock. I sighed, this was going to be a long day. ¡¡ After many more hours of walking, and an innumerable number of screams, we finally reached the kingdom. Well, to be more precise, it¡¯s the capital. It¡¯s towering gates were incredible, and elicited gasps of wonder from my classmates. I had already seen them before, though, so their amazement was just a little lost on me. As we arrived, the gates opened wide. On the other side was a royal procession. Even the king had personally come to escort us to his castle. I was nearly giddy with excitement when he did. I even ignored the conversation happening between Jason and the king. After all, it was nearly night time, which meant I would meet her soon. Apparently my absent mindedness got on the nerve of someone, because just two minutes into the walk, Jason elbowed me harshly. ¡°Mason, now that everyone else has introduced themselves, why don¡¯t you do the same.¡± Oh, so that¡¯s it. This situation is solved easily enough. ¡°Hi, I¡¯m Mason.¡± It¡¯s kind of embarrassing, but I seem to have forgotten my last name. What? I went by Mason for five years, and then never said my name for two years after that. With that over, I proceeded to imagine my first meeting with her. Last time, I acted like an idiot, this time I¡¯ll have to be cool. ¡°WHAT DO YOU MEAN ¡®Hi, I¡¯m Mason¡¯?!!?!? Were you not listening to the other introductions?! They said their stats, and their skills!! You didn¡¯t even say your last name!¡± Some little girl just started yelling at me for no reason. All you said was introduce myself, which I did perfectly. Who is this girl anyway, blonde hair in twin tails, a fancy red dress. Right! She must be the princess. It¡¯s weird seeing her this young and enthusiastic. She is probably 12 right around now. The princess I know was an 17-19 year old beauty, who was depressed, and constantly had bags under her eyes. It was probably because her father died, causing her to rule a kingdom at just 17 years old. Well, I suppose it¡¯s better that she¡¯s yelling at me rather than contemplating suicide. ¡°Right, I¡¯m Mason. My strength is 4,300. Constitution is 8,600. Dexterity is 7,100. And intelligence is¡ um¡ 20,000.¡± I want them to know that I¡¯m powerful, but saying my actual intelligence will just cause them to lose all trust in me. Even 20,000 may be stretching it a bit. ¡°Also, I have the skills and ¡± Should I have left one of them out? Oh well, it¡¯s too late now. Sure enough, even the king had stopped, and was gaping at me. The princess soon had stars sparkling in her eyes. ¡°WWAAHHH, Mason, are you actually someone really capable?¡± The way she said that kinda pisses me off. ¡°Yeah, I had to defeat all the monsters we encountered on the way here.¡± I have to establish myself as an extremely powerful individual right now. That way, they won¡¯t stop me if I go solo in the future. Although it was embarrassing that my classmates paled just at the mention of the monsters. Maybe I should have forced them to defeat a few of them. Y¡¯know, like shock therapy. Oh well, what¡¯s done is done. ¡°Mason, I figured since you were able to use magic already, you would be strong and have high intelligence, but this is just too much.¡± Jason said while laughing. I smiled at that, I could already feel the envious stares from the other classmates. ¡°Wow, it¡¯s great that we had someone like you in our class. I¡¯m glad you were here the entire time.¡± That was a lie. One of the other students, Kevin or something like that, was trying to compliment me. Of course, I can see right through his lie, and know that he wishes I weren¡¯t here. How childish, this is why he died in my old future. He was a fool. I can read him like a book right now. He wants to be special, to stand out in this new world. My skill was the only thing that stopped me from staring at him in contempt. ¡°Yeah, Kenny¡¯s right.¡± ¡°Yeah.¡± A chorus of agreements followed. Lies. I didn¡¯t realize how stupid these classmates of mine were. It¡¯s almost impressive how narrow-minded they are. I smiled. This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience. ¡°By the way, an effect of the skill is that I can tell when someone is lying to me.¡± I gave a dismissive glance towards Kev-Kenny. I won¡¯t just take these things lying down anymore. Now that I think about it, it might be good for some of these students to die. They hold so much power, but by being so shallow, who knows what they¡¯ll do with it. Oh well, I can let Jason handle them. After all, he was the strongest of us all in the past life. His skill, along with his morals and character, will be able to stop anyone else from using their powers to oppress the people of this world. As for me, I want to be long gone by the time it comes to that. Maybe live in a village somewhere on the outskirts of the kingdom. Or travel the world with her. ¡°Here we are, this is my castle, and also where you all will be staying. You can also undergo a variety of training here. You¡¯ll each get your own room, and a maid along with it.¡± I smiled at the mention of the maid, I could hardly contain my feelings. ¡¡ I happily hummed while sitting on the edge of my bed, soon she will be here. The reason why I got the skill. I perked up at the sound of knocking. ¡°May I enter?¡± A beautiful, monotone voice came from the other side of the door. My heart sped up just from hearing it. ¡°Sir?¡± ¡°Oh-um, yes.¡± Shit! I messed it up already, I was supposed to be calm, cool, and collected. But here I am, shaking just at the thought of seeing her once again. Clearly not aware of my feelings, the door opened without any hesitation. In stepped a stone-faced, silver-haired, gorgeous, beautiful, magnificent woman. I couldn¡¯t help but stare, a soft smile rising to my face. ¡°Hi there, I¡¯m Mason, and you are?¡± ¡°My name is Elliza, your maid.¡± ¡°I see.¡± I patted the bed next to me. ¡°Well, we might as well get to know each other.¡± She stared at the bed I had patted. ¡°... The maids here don¡¯t offer that kind of service.¡± I laughed. I know that she understands what I meant, this is just her personality. She¡¯s adorable like that. However, my laughter died down very quickly. After all, she had just lied. Wait, does that mean that if I ordered it, she really would? I thanked the gods that she was my maid. If anyone ordered her to do such a thing, they would be slaughtered without mercy. ¡°No, no. I just want to talk.¡± ¡°I see.¡± She sat down next to me, closer than I thought she would. It really got my blood pumping. In fact, I¡¯m sure that I¡¯m blushing. Luckily it¡¯s dark right now, so she shouldn¡¯t be able to see it. ¡°So, how do you like being a maid at the castle?¡± ¡°It¡¯s alright.¡± I tried to start up a casual conversation, but I¡¯m not very good at it. I wonder if she feels awkward or uncomfortable right now? For me, I¡¯m content just sitting here next to her. ¡°You seem happy, sir.¡± ¡°Oh? You can tell.¡± ¡°Yes¡± ¡°This is actually the happiest I¡¯ve been in years.¡± ¡°Odd, haven¡¯t you just been torn from your old world?¡± ¡°Haha, yep. But I was always restrained in that world. Here, I can do what I want.¡± ¡°What do you want?¡± ¡°... I want to settle down with the girl I love, or maybe travel the world.¡± ¡°That doesn¡¯t sound bad.¡± ¡°Which one would you pick? Would you want to settle down in a little village, or see the world?¡± ¡°I think¡ it wouldn¡¯t be bad to travel the world. I¡¯ve been stuck in here my whole life, after all. The girl you love might think differently, of course.¡± ¡°No, I think I¡¯ve got my answer.¡± We sat in silence for a while after that, it was surprisingly comfortable. ¡°So, who is it? If it¡¯s someone you love, then it must be one of the other¡¯s who were transferred.¡± ¡°Haha, nope. I fell in love with her the moment I laid eyes upon her.¡± ¡°Hmmmm¡ The princess is only 12 y¡¯know.¡± I laughed wholeheartedly for a while hearing that. Even Eliza had a smile on her face. ¡°I¡¯ll give you a hint, it¡¯s the only person I¡¯ve had a real conversation with since coming to this world.¡± ¡°I see, so it¡¯s that Jason friend of yours.¡± We both laughed this time. This was good, she opened up rather quickly this time. ¡°Well, I enjoyed having this conversation with you, Eliza. I really should get some sleep though. Of course, you¡¯re welcome to join me if you want.¡± I wiggled my eyebrows at her. She simply chuckled and closed the door behind her. I was definitely not disappointed that she just walked away like that. ¡°I also enjoyed having this real conversation with you¡ Mason.¡± She said it from right outside my door. She really is perceptive, that girl. Then, without rolling around from both excitement and embarrassment at the fact that she knows, I fell asleep. ¡¡ I stretched my body as I woke up this morning. It was good to be back in this world, and for it to be so peaceful and happy. I smiled while looking out my bedside window. ¡°If you keep smiling to yourself like that, people will think you¡¯re weird.¡± I jumped at the sound of Eliza¡¯s voice so near. It seems that she was in this room even as I woke up. ¡°...Well, do you think I¡¯m weird?¡± ¡°No.¡± I smiled even wider. ¡°Then I don¡¯t care what anyone else thinks.¡± ¡°...You don¡¯t really hide your emotions much, do you?¡± ¡°Nope, that sounds like a hassle. Why would I forcefully restrain myself in this brand new world?¡± ¡°Hmmm, that¡¯s a very rare mindset, many people will think you¡¯re a fool.¡± ¡°Do you think I¡¯m a fool?¡± ¡°No.¡± ¡°Then I don¡¯t care what they think.¡± She smiled, and we spent the next hour making idle talk. In my last life, I woke up late on the first day. This time, I¡¯m already accustomed to waking up at 5:00, no matter when I fell asleep. When it was 6:00 (I can tell with my internal clock by the way), one of the knights came to my door. There was a polite knock, before he let himself in. He seemed surprised at the sight before him. More likely, at the fact that I was awake. I was currently laughing along with Eliza after she took another jab at me. ¡°Oh! Sorry that I just barged in, I assumed you were asleep, everyone else was.¡± He laughed awkwardly and scratched the back of his head. This was the vice-commander of the Knight¡¯s Order. He was a charismatic pretty boy, but he knew his way around a fight. He had blonde hair, short enough to never get in the way. ¡°We¡¯re starting your training today, to see if there¡¯s any way we can help. Your maid should know the way to the training grounds.¡± I saw him off, and allowed Eliza to guide me there, though I could vaguely remember the path. When I got there, a few of my classmates were already getting training from the knights. I know what you¡¯re thinking. For those with or , isn¡¯t training unnecessary. The thing is, while they can attack an immobile target immaculately, they have no battle sense whatsoever. Experience can trump both stats and skills depending on the difference. Although Jason¡¯s stats are 5-6 times that of the knight practicing with him, he just isn¡¯t used to a real fight. Boxing isn¡¯t the same as putting your life on the line with every move you take. Of course, this means nothing to me, who has experienced battles with demons 20 times stronger than these knights. Demons whose base stats far exceeded mine. I used my superior experience in those fights. These knights have been in real battles, sure, but they don¡¯t know war. And they definitely don¡¯t know war like the one I was alone in. Isolated in enemy territory, constantly surrounded by those who could kill me so long as they can get one hit in. Well, I mean, it is how I died. Now, however, I can rest easy. Forget these knights, I could easily storm the demon¡¯s castle right now. I don¡¯t have to though, there¡¯s still at least half a year until they start to make movements. I¡¯ll take it easy until then. ¡°HEY YOU, GET DOWN HERE!¡± I looked to see who was being yelled at by the commander of the Knight¡¯s Order. Well, I should have expected it, but he¡¯s yelling at me. We even made eye contact. I sighed and made my way to the training ground. The commander was the strongest swordsman around, the one with 700 strength and constitution. He was an annoying battle junkie. We never got along. Not that I hated him or anything, it¡¯s just that our goals in life are complete opposites. I want an easy life, and he wants to live life on the edge. ¡°So you¡¯re the sage boy, huh? Don¡¯t think that just because you have good stats and skills that you have the luxury to take it easy.¡± He had a dark look on his face as I casually stood in front of him. Of course, I knew what he was going to do, the way his right leg muscles were taut, and the clenching of his hand over his sword handle. Noticing these minute details was the basis of surviving for the me in my past life. This guy was like an ameteur compared to the average demon I was fighting just a year ago. ¡°HHHAAAHHH¡± I¡¯m sure that to the others, he suddenly moved, without any prior indication. However, I calmly stepped to the side, and incapacitated him with a swift chop to the neck. It was a simple move to use against someone slower than you. If you miscalculate the power, you might kill them, but I was confident in myself. I looked down at the unmoving body¡ He¡¯s not dead, right? I nudged him with my foot a few times. I breathed a sigh of relief when he finally groaned. Well, that was something. I¡¯m still surprised that he even felt the need to attack me. Could he have felt that threatened by my stats? While I was thinking, the unmoving body finally began to move once more. ¡°HAHAHA, YOU!¡± What? Is he angry? ¡°I HEREBY DECLARE THAT I WILL DEFEAT YOU!¡± ...er, that¡¯s frankly impossible for you, sir. I told him as much. ¡°There¡¯s no way you can do that, y¡¯know.¡± ¡°HAHA, IT HAS BEEN SO LONG SINCE I HAVE MET A WORTHY RIVAL!¡± So he¡¯s just gonna ignore me. Oh well, so long as he doesn¡¯t bother me from now on, he can keep dreaming. ¡°Every day, I will challenge you! The day WILL come when I defeat you!¡± Is he specifically trying to annoy me now? That has to be it, right? Right? I swear he wasn¡¯t like this in my past life. All he did was diligently train us to the best of his abilities. Maybe it¡¯s because at the time there really wasn¡¯t anyone worthy of being his rival. After all, even if he¡¯s an annoying battle junkie, he¡¯s still one of humanity¡¯s greatest. Actually, I do vaguely remember that Jason, the friendliest person I¡¯ve ever met, started avoiding the captain after a while in the castle. Could this have been the reason? No use worrying about it now. But my days will be more tiring with this guy around. I just want to spend my time with Eliza. I couldn¡¯t care less about the happenings in the rest of the castle. ¡°My name is Pierre Aumont, please allow me the honor of knowing my rival¡¯s name.¡± His name is Pierre? Now that¡¯s just ridiculous, it¡¯s like naming a murderous tiger Mr. Cuddlywumples. This 7 foot, buff guy with a scruffy beard and scars is named Pierre. I must¡¯ve never learned his name in my past life. There¡¯s no way in hell I would forget such a contrast in name and appearance. ¡°I¡¯m Mason.¡± I realize this as I¡¯m introducing myself, but wouldn¡¯t it have been better to just ignore him. It¡¯s too late now, I guess. I sigh and leave the training grounds before anyone can stop me. I wanna see Eliza... Hey, isnt there something to do She doesn''t seem to be doing much. Just applying light cleaning magic to everything in the castle. Then again, the castle is enormous, so it would be a pretty monumental task to clean it all. By the way, I''m currently watching her from the air. I''ve totally erased my presence, become invisible, and am flying around above her. Of course, doing something like this isn''t easy. For starters, the magical formulas required to completely erase your presence are extremely complicated. Don''t even get me started on maintaining those along with flight, perhaps the highest mana-consuming spell out there. For me, though, well, it''s kind of embarrassing. That is, I''m way too broken. My mana is still full as of right now. That is to say, my mana recovery far outstrips the rate that I''m using it at. Although mana isn''t quantified in the same way intelligence or dexterity is, it is still easy to identify how much you have. Although it''s closer to a feeling than an actual quantification. That¡¯s how many of the things in this world function. Although the gods said it was like an RPG, it maybe resembles an RPG by a fourth. For instance, instead of experience points, this world has a much more vague, but realistic system. When you kill a monster, it¡¯s remaining magic power, instead of just being dispersed, can be absorbed and used to strengthen yourself. Of course, this isn¡¯t just in reference to raw mana, but also includes the mana that is diffused within everyone¡¯s body. It¡¯s the reason the people of this world can reach inhuman levels of strength. Thinking of this just reminds me of all those monsters I had trouble with in the past. Now that I think about it, I wonder exactly how much more powerful I¡¯ve become in this life. Well, actually I¡¯m just curious about the skill. To be frank, it¡¯s a ridiculously overpowered skill. Magical formulas are the basis of all magic in this world, and this allows me to use magic without them. And that¡¯s without even taking into account the other ridiculous abilities of it. Deciding to satiate my curiosity, I vanished from the castle. ¡¡ In just a blink, I was on top of a mountain. Below, clouds could be seen far off into the distance. They look so fluffy I kind of want to jump on one¡ I know I¡¯ll just fall through though. Ignoring the odd desire that popped up out of nowhere, I got down to what I was actually here for. This is the tallest mountain in this world. When I say tall, I mean like, really tall, okay? Reallly, reeeeaaaallly tall. Got it? I think you¡¯ve got it. Anyways, I immediately started at my purpose for being here. Looking off into the distance, I raised one hand and used the strongest magic I had ever used in my past life. It was a grand supreme grade magic of the fire attribute. God¡¯s Flame. I was only able to prepare enough to cast it once, but it had devastated the enemy forces of the time. From the palm of my hand, a small wisp of fire flew out. It traveled very slowly into the distance. After a solid thirty seconds, it finally became what the magic was renowned for. For many, many miles surrounding the wisp¡¯s position, flames were running rampant. Even though I had placed myself far away, and shielded myself with multiple layers of basic mana shields used to deflect heat, my face still felt like it was burning. The air around the flames was being visibly distorted. This was why I had to come to this mountain to test my magic. Otherwise, I would have totally destroyed the environment. Luckily I know of a convenient place like this. Now that I think about it, what was my reason for coming here in my past life. I can¡¯t teleport somewhere I haven¡¯t been, so I was obviously here before. I must¡¯ve had a reason to come to such an out of the way place. ...Oh well, I¡¯ll think about it later. Continuing, I began to think about the skill. Something like this, is honestly something amazing. In the past life, to use God¡¯s Flame, I needed to chant and form a magic formula for an hour straight with no distractions whatsoever. However, now I just need to think about it. Literally any magic in existence can be created and used by me as I desire. Well, it depends on my mana, but that¡¯s certainly not an issue. I really do feel like a god, am I even human anymore¡ ...hmm? Wait. Didn¡¯t Falda say that a god personally interfering would cause the world to collapse? Well, shit. This could be bad. Have I not only accidently become a god, but also accidently doomed this world. Thinking quickly, I consult about my presence in the world. It showed me results immediately. Mason, in reference to being a god, and the world¡¯s collapse: Hey, isn¡¯t that title a little scary? Mason, in reference to being a god, and the world¡¯s collapse: Having acquired , Mason has surpassed the human limits. In doing so, he has become a Transcendent Human. While more powerful in nature than any mortal species, this species will not cause a world to collapse unless an excess of power is used. This is news to me, I just naturally assumed godhood could be acquired with a skill like that, but it seems that ¡®god¡¯ is a species in and of itself. It would be a little ridiculous if just anyone could become a bonafide god with one skill. I do have to breathe a sigh of relief though. I would cry if it turned out I broke the world. Brushing it off, I stretched one last time before going back to the castle. Or at least, I had prepared to. In the corner of my senses, I could feel a powerful source of mana within the mountain. Curious, I used an x-ray vision spell that I just created to check it out. Just under a cliff of the mountain, a few miles away, there was a dragon who was... ...Well, it¡¯s peeking at me. I wasn¡¯t sure at first, but it¡¯s definitely peeking at me. I¡¯ve made eye contact with it. It it now shivering.Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon. I think it¡¯s afraid. That¡¯s to be expected, dragons hold the position of the most powerful beings on this planet. They are usually the only ones capable of magic above grandmaster grade. Yet I¡¯ve just used a grand supreme grade magic like it was nothing. Yeah, I¡¯m kinda strong or whatever. By the way, the magic grades go like this, from weakest to strongest. Elementary Novice Intermediate Advanced Master Grandmaster Ancient Supreme Grand Supreme Plenty of humans can use elementary grade magic for daily life and such. The average magician can use one or two advanced spells before being exhausted. The court magician can use two grandmaster spells before being exhausted, and can throw advanced spells around quite easily. Of course, I¡¯m no longer restricted to these grades. With , using something above grand supreme grade is a piece of cake. I won¡¯t though. I don¡¯t wanna destroy the world. The dragon doesn¡¯t seem like it¡¯ll confront me. I¡¯ll just have to go over there then. As the dragon watched me warily, I vanished. It breathed a sigh of relief, and seemed satisfied now that I was ¡°gone¡±. ¡¡°BOO!¡± ¡°KKYYYYAAAHHHHH!!!¡± ...Not gonna lie, I¡¯m kind of disgusted right now. I just can¡¯t believe this dragon would scream something like ¡®kyahhh¡¯ with that voice. He had screamed in a deep, silky baritone. The kind of voice that should be soothing, but when he screams like that? It¡¯s revolting, okay? ¡°I¡¯M, I¡¯M SORRY FOR INTERRUPTING, SIR-NO-MY LIEGE. PLEASE PARDON THIS PATHETIC CREATURE. I¡¯LL DO ANYTHING, I SWEAR!¡± Can you stop talking then? It¡¯s gross. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that dragons generally speak human languages? ¡°Yeah, yeah, whatever. More importantly, what are you doing here?¡± The dragon gulped. ¡°Yes, well, I-um, live here.¡± ...Right! That¡¯s why I was here in my past life. Us heroes had heard that the strongest dragon lived atop this mountain. We thought that if we killed it, we might get enough power from it to help in the war. It didn¡¯t work, of course. Wait, don¡¯t tell me this is the strongest dragon that we spent fighting a gruelling battle with? ¡°You wouldn¡¯t happen to be the so-called ¡®strongest dragon¡¯, would you?¡± Might as well be direct about it. ¡°Haha, you¡¯re embarrassing me, I don¡¯t really deserve to be called the strongest or anything. Hahahah.¡± Your nervous laugh is a bit too obvious, ya know. I know I¡¯m basically invincible here, but I haven¡¯t actually done anything towards you. ¡°M-my liege. Could you perhaps give this poor, pathetic creature the honor of knowing your purpose for being here?¡± ¡°Oh, y¡¯know, just testing out some low-level magic.¡± ...Pffffttt He looks terrified. I didn¡¯t know a blood red dragon could become pale. How does that even work? Calling grand supreme magic low-level. My past self would rip his hair out if he heard me spouting something so ridiculous. Well, it¡¯s true for the current me. I can toss around spells like this all day. ¡°I-I-I, I s-see. I¡¯ll just be in my cave, so th-that I d-don¡¯t disturb you.¡± With that, he ran away at a speed over mach 1 at least. That was pretty funny. Who knew dragons could make a face like that? I¡¯ll have to come back and visit from time to time. I¡¯m sure he¡¯ll be happy to hear it! ¡¡ Back in the castle, I was wandering the halls aimlessly. There¡¯s not really much to do, considering this world is so far behind in terms of technology. There really isn¡¯t anything to do purely for entertainment. And I can¡¯t really ask around, or else people will think I have no intention of saving them. Just because I wanna enjoy myself doesn¡¯t mean I¡¯m leaving you to fend for yourselves. I sigh, I really do have a tough life¡ ...I wonder how many people would stab me if they knew what I just thought? I¡¯d bet at least three quarters of the population. So here I am, walking around to see if something interesting happens. So far all I¡¯ve seen is the repeating pattern of the wall, with the occasional door here and there. I waved to each of the maids and butlers I¡¯ve passed, and they bowed in response. ¡°Hey! Aren¡¯t you the unimpressive-looking but actually really strong fellow!?¡± That kinda hurts, you know. I have feelings too¡ ¡°Yes, I am indeed very strong, princess.¡± The princess had somehow snuck up behind me before I noticed, and delivered a critical hit. ¡°Yep, and unimpressive-looking.¡± She said with a broad smile. I can¡¯t tell if she¡¯s trying to provoke me, or if she just has no filter. In my past life, I only really knew her when she was a few years older, and far more graceful. ¡°So, what is a princess like yourself doing walking around on your own?¡± Normally, I¡¯d just walk away from this situation, but I¡¯m so bored I¡¯ll even take talking with the princess. ¡°Hmph! As a princess, I must always be aware of the state of affairs within my own residence at the very least. Not to mention that in the future, the kingdom will be depending on me.¡± Hmmm, even though she doesn''t look or act like it right now, I guess this princess really is the same one I knew in the future. ¡°Shouldn¡¯t you at least have some guards around or something?¡± ¡°Ha! Even though I look like a defenseless 12-year-old girl, I¡¯ll have you know that I can cast magic up to the intermediate grade.¡± She seemed to take immense pride in that. Her eyes were looking at me as if she had bested me somehow. To be fair, that¡¯s an incredible accomplishment for someone who¡¯s only 12 years old. ¡°That¡¯s pretty good, but what if you run out of mana? You¡¯re an important person, it would be devastating to the kingdom as a whole if you were to be kidnapped. Not to mention that there¡¯s strong people like me in the castle right now. It would be so simple for me to take you away right now. Don¡¯t even get me started on the fact that even the average knight could do so with some work. Oh well~, it can¡¯t be helped that the princess is such a naive girl.¡± As I repeatedly crush her ¡®I can use magic¡¯ argument to dust, she seems to get closer and closer to tears. What? This is for her own good. In my past life, she was a princess tempered through years of war. She had to learn and become better to ensure her kingdom¡¯s survival. In this life? Because I¡¯m here, there won¡¯t be a need for her to experience something like that. Because of that, she¡¯ll have to grow some other way. Just as I thought she would break into tears, she clenched her fist in determination. ¡°Understood! I¡¯ll go get Vice-Commander Roy then!¡± Wow, she shot back up so quickly. ¡°Wouldn¡¯t it be better to get Pierre? He¡¯s stronger than the Vice-Commander.¡± ¡°Ew, I don¡¯t like Pierre. I mean, at least change your name if you look like that. I refuse to call that bear of a man something like ¡®Pierre¡¯.¡± Ah, so somebody else understands. ¡°Good luck finding the Vice-Commander then.¡± With that, she ran off, totally unladylike. I know she¡¯s 12, but to think the princess I knew in my past life was once a child like this. ¡°That definitely looked like a mean thing you just did.¡± I jumped when I heard the emotionless voice of Eliza from my back. How are these people sneaking up on me like this? I have the skill, this shouldn¡¯t be happening. ¡°If someone saw you almost make the princess cry, they¡¯d definitely try to execute you.¡± ¡°Really? I didn¡¯t know that stuff happened with royalty here. Especially since I¡¯m an honored guest and all.¡± ¡°Oh no, not because there are laws or anything. It¡¯s just that everyone loves the princess that much.¡± ¡°I see, that¡¯s a good thing, though. It would be bad if the royalty wasn¡¯t loved. What about you? Are you gonna try to execute me?¡± ¡°No, I realize that you did it for her sake, even if it was a bit indelicate.¡± ¡°Haha, was I that obvious?¡± I thought I hid it pretty well, considering my skill. Well, it¡¯s definitely a good thing she noticed, I wouldn¡¯t want her to think bad about me, after all. ¡°Stop smiling at nothing, it¡¯s creeping me out.¡± ¡°Hahaha, I can¡¯t help it if I¡¯m happy, okay?¡± ¡°Aren¡¯t you too happy? I swear every time I see you, you¡¯re smiling.¡± ¡°Yep, cause everytime I see you, I smile.¡± Damn, why haven¡¯t I gotten the skill yet? I wasn¡¯t this smooth in my last life. Then again, I know for sure that I love her this time. I was so indecisive in the past. Now that I¡¯ve tasted what it feels like to not see her for two years straight, I figure it¡¯ll be better to just be true to my emotions. I truly am lucky that I got this second chance. ¡°You¡¯re doing it again, there¡¯s no reason to be so happy.¡± ¡°Haven¡¯t I told you already? There¡¯s a reason right in front of me.¡± It¡¯s a little embarrassing, but god is it so worth it when she looks away shyly. ¡°Haaaaa~, it¡¯s so refreshing to see you act shy.¡± I smiled at her, and she just stared back at me. After a while, she went back to cleaning. This time I followed her around, and helped out where I could. We made small talk while getting the work done. I should¡¯ve just done this from the beginning. ¡.. [In the strongest dragon¡¯s cave] ¡°I can¡¯t believe I met a monster like that. And people say I¡¯m too strong.¡± The so-called ¡®Strongest Dragon¡¯ was currently whimpering like a beaten dog. ¡°At least I won¡¯t have to meet that guy ever again. From now on, I¡¯ll just stay in this cave and outlive him.¡± The dragon, relieved and content with his plan, carefreely rolled onto his back. Under him, a loud crinkling sound was heard. ¡°Hmmm? What¡¯s this?¡± The dragon stood up to reveal large piece of paper where he was just laying down. In big, bold letters, it read, ¡®Hey, strongest dragon, it¡¯s me, that magician you met earlier, AKA your liege. Since you were so courteous to me, I¡¯ve decided that I¡¯ll visit you from time to time. You don¡¯t need to be nervous, of course, it¡¯ll just be to chat. Also, if you just happen to not be in for some strange reason that I couldn¡¯t possibly fathom, then I¡¯ll just go and find you! Can¡¯t wait to see you next time! Signed, Mason¡¯ As the dragon finished reading the ¡®friendly letter¡¯, his tears were already flowing. ¡°You¡¯re definitely bullying me on purpose, Mason.¡± He cried out in grief. More so because he was so frustrated than because he actually believed what he was saying. He¡¯s right, though... Hey There Eliza Today is the day. The day the gods will send heroes to this world. The high priestess has already told everyone of her visions from the gods. These heroes will be sent by the gods in order to save the kingdom. I¡¯m Eliza, one of many maids in the castle. Apparently, I will be assigned to be the personal maid of one of these heroes. And frankly, this worries me. I¡¯m not good with people, or more specifically, interacting with people. All my life I¡¯ve been told that I¡¯m emotionless, that my face is like a block of ice. Even when I truly feel something, from the depths of my heart, it¡¯s never been seen by anyone else. That¡¯s why I¡¯m content with my position. In fact, it¡¯s perfect for me. The ideal maid should act as if they don¡¯t exist. All they have to do is clean. I couldn¡¯t wish for a position more suited to me. I¡¯ll never have to confront anyone or talk at all. Until now, that is. As a personal maid, I¡¯ll certainly be in constant contact with whoever I¡¯m told to serve. I can only hope that it¡¯s a girl. I¡¯m not averse to guys or anything, I¡¯m just aware of my own looks. It may sound slightly conceited, but I am beautiful. On the rare jobs that I have to travel into town for, I¡¯m usually hit on by no less than 5 guys. ¡ Actually, now that I think about it, I¡¯ve been hit on by girls before too, so maybe I don¡¯t want it to be a girl? This would be so much simpler if I just didn¡¯t have to do it. Unfortunately, these are orders, and as a maid, I must follow them. I¡¯ll just have to verify my new master¡¯s character as soon as possible. As I was thinking, a group of obviously foreign people were guided into the castle personally by the king and his daughter. It was a show of our goodwill to the heroes that the king and princess would personally escort them, and by foot no less. I breathed a sigh of relief as I looked over the genders of the heroes. There were about equal amounts of boys and girls. So I have a good chance of being under a woman. I could only hope. I silently waited for my orders. ¡¡ Damnit! I knew I wouldn¡¯t be lucky enough to be subordinate to a girl. Not only did I miss out on that, but I¡¯m also going to be working for the most important hero of the group. This is way too much pressure! I inwardly groan as I reached the door of the hero I was to serve. I shivered at the thought of that. Each of the maids was thoroughly warned to not offend the heroes in any way whatsoever. We were also told that no matter the order, we would have to follow, including any sexual orders. I released a shaky breath and hoped that my new master is a good person. I don¡¯t know what I¡¯d do if he had a bad attitude. Finally, I reached up and knocked on the door. ¡°May I enter?¡± My hopes of him already being asleep were dashed as I heard movement on the other side of the door. Oddly enough, though, I didn¡¯t get a reply for a good thirty seconds. I asked once again. ¡°Sir?¡± ¡°Oh-um, yes.¡± He finally replied. I steeled my heart and opened the door. From his reply at the door, I expected someone timid, but he doesn¡¯t look it. Instead, he has this stupidly happy grin on his face. ¡°Hi there, I¡¯m Mason, and you are?¡± It kind of annoyed me how easily he was ready to engage in conversation with a stranger, and how comfortable he looked while doing it. ¡°My name is Eliza, your maid.¡± He didn¡¯t seem all that uncomfortable or surprised. In fact, all I can see in his face is contentedness. Weird. ¡°I see.¡± He then patted a spot next to him on the bed. ¡°Well, we might as well get to know each other.¡± I saw where he patted, and what he said, and immediately thought this was a good chance. I can get a better judge of character by noting his reaction to certain things. Getting my thoughts together, and preparing my heart for his response, I replied, in a voice that sounded slightly joking to me, but probably emotionless to him.The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation. ¡°... The maids here don¡¯t offer that kind of service.¡± I could feel the pressure flying off of me as he laughed. It was a happy, joyous, sound, one I wasn¡¯t against hearing more of. It¡¯s good, a laugh means he had never even considered the possibility of ordering such a thing, and can only see it as a joke. I sat down with him on the bed, more assured of my master¡¯s good nature now. As we started up a conversation, that was mostly him asking me questions and me answering them, I noticed that he seemed slightly uncomfortable. No, not uncomfortable, more like frantic. I¡¯m not sure why, but he was trying really hard to have this conversation. He also seemed to be trying to make me more comfortable. Could he have noticed I was uncomfortable with my new position? No¡ That¡¯s impossible, even people who have known me for years can¡¯t decipher my moods. There¡¯s simply no way he could. Before I knew it, he was divulging surprisingly personal information to me. His love life? Not exactly something you talk about the first time you meet someone. As I felt more and more comfortable in his presence, I asked him who it was that he loved. I wasn¡¯t even slightly surprised that he didn¡¯t tell me. After I jokingly gave a few suggestions, he actually gave me a hint. ¡°It¡¯s the only person I¡¯ve had a real conversation with since coming to this world.¡± Wow. To think he would give me an actual hint after just this short time. From that, I jokingly suggested the other hero, Jason. I was kind of shocked at myself, to so quickly be making genuine jokes with someone. However, just as I thought that I could start to fully enjoy having this conversation with him, he spoke again. ¡°Well, I enjoyed having this conversation with you, Eliza. I really should get some sleep though. Of course, you¡¯re welcome to join me if you want.¡± He funnily wiggled his eyebrows, but it was clear that it was a joke. As I walked to the door, I finally realized what he said. He had enjoyed having this ¡®conversation¡¯ with me. I stopped in contemplation just outside his door. To think he would confess to me the first time we met, albeit in a roundabout way. He really destroyed my hopes. To confess to a person you just met, someone you don¡¯t even know. I didn¡¯t think he would be such a shallow person. I withheld on my judgement for a few moments, enough to say one more thing. ¡°I also enjoyed having this real conversation with you¡ Mason.¡± It wasn¡¯t a lie, either. I truly did have a good time talking with him. It¡¯s something I don¡¯t get to enjoy often. Conversations are usually hindered by my terrible social skills, or my lack of emotion. That only made me more disappointed when Mason didn¡¯t try to correct any possible understanding I had. So it¡¯s true. He ¡®loves¡¯ me. Ridiculous, as if such a shallow love could be true. He doesn¡¯t even know me. And to think, if he just hadn¡¯t been said anything, I might¡¯ve actually considered him as a potential partner in the future. I won¡¯t lie to myself, he¡¯s a handsome man, with a certain air of maturity and wisdom around him. More importantly, I enjoyed being in his presence, and talking to him. However, to think that a man lauded as a ¡®sage¡¯ could be so foolish as to believe in love at first sight. I sighed, and retired to the maids¡¯ quarters. I would just ignore his so-called ¡®love¡¯ for now, until he realizes that he was wrong to make such a hasty decision about his love life. ¡¡ I¡¯m currently doing my job, cleaning up parts of the castle. This morning, I had another conversation with Mason. He seems to be totally unfazed by my knowledge of his supposed ¡®love¡¯ Not only that, he¡¯s also happy. Too happy. Stupidly happy. It really gets to me sometimes, as I¡¯m cleaning up. Just thinking of his stupidly content smile as he gazed at nothing. Why is he that happy!? And why can¡¯t I be that happy for no reason? I started to dust off a vase more aggressively as I thought of my master. For some reason, him and his stupid smile are all I can think about. I shuddered at the thought of me harboring feelings so quickly for someone else. It just isn¡¯t possible for me to develop feelings at such a speed. Moreover, for such a stupidly shallow guy. As I finished this vase and continued to the next one, I heard voices near the end of the hall. Approaching, I could see Mason talking to the princess. He was looking at her sternly, and scolding her. Wow, to think he would do such a thing. The princess is immensely treasured by the kingdom, considering she¡¯s the only next generation royalty, and that the king is now impotent. After seeing the princess run off in a manner unbefitting a princess, I approached Mason. ¡°That definitely looked like a mean thing you just did.¡± I teased him a little bit. I don¡¯t know why, but I always get like this as soon as I talk to him. ¡°If someone saw you almost make the princess cry, they¡¯d definitely try to execute you.¡± This time I wasn¡¯t teasing him, it¡¯s true. ¡°Really? I didn¡¯t know that stuff happened with royalty here. Especially since I¡¯m an honored guest and all.¡± ¡°Oh no, not because there are laws or anything. It¡¯s just that everyone loves the princess that much.¡± ¡°I see, that¡¯s a good thing, though. It would be bad if the royalty wasn¡¯t loved. What about you? Are you gonna try to execute me?¡± What a stupid question. If I haven¡¯t done so already, I clearly won¡¯t. Though, I do occasionally get oddly angry when I think of his face. ¡°No, I realize that you did it for her sake, even if it was a bit indelicate.¡± ¡°Haha, was I that obvious?¡± Ugh. He¡¯s started smiling again for no reason, it¡¯s almost starting to creep me out. ¡°Stop smiling at nothing, it¡¯s creeping me out.¡± ¡°Hahaha, I can¡¯t help it if I¡¯m happy, okay?¡± See? It¡¯s that again. How are you happy all the time. I¡¯ve never seen you not smiling! ¡°Aren¡¯t you too happy? I swear every time I see you, you¡¯re smiling.¡± ¡°Yep, cause everytime I see you, I smile.¡± I hate it! Using such sweet lines. If I didn¡¯t already know that you were a shallow character, I might have actually fallen for you. ¡°You¡¯re doing it again, there¡¯s no reason to be so happy.¡± ¡°Haven¡¯t I told you already? There¡¯s a reason right in front of me.¡± I can¡¯t help it if my face heats up just a little, okay? A handsome man saying that to you will do it. I will not fall for him! He doesn¡¯t even know me! ¡°Haaaaa~, it¡¯s so refreshing to see you act shy.¡± I froze. My heart skipped a beat. To see me acting shy? He said it with such a stupid grin, too. To think this type of person is the only one who sees how I¡¯m feeling. I can¡¯t believe someone this stupidly content with life, someone who I just met, is someone who can tell my emotions. It almost makes my past troubles seem like a joke. I still remember it even now. Never having any friends as a child. Being left out because when we played adventurers I couldn¡¯t laugh like a demon king, or because I couldn¡¯t shout with passion like a hero. That was just the start. It just kept piling on me after that. Even people who I thought were friends ended up leaving me because I ¡®don¡¯t care enough¡¯ about them. It¡¯s not that I don¡¯t care! It just doesn¡¯t show! After I got a reputation for being emotionless, it was truly hopeless. Instead, I just coped with it. Who cares if I don¡¯t have friends? I don¡¯t like human interaction anyways. And it¡¯s true to some degree. So, why? Why does being recognized like this so easily, in a way that seems as if my past troubles were just stupid, feel so, so good. As Mason continued our small talk, I felt a pressure that I never knew was there lift off me. That stupid smile of his. I wonder if I can show others a face like that myself? Hey, At Least Its Not a Foot Fetish It¡¯s been around a month since we¡¯ve arrived in the new world. Mostly a cycle of me not-so-subtly flirting with Eliza, combined with an unhealthy amount of avoiding giant men named Pierre. Speaking of, apparently he¡¯s supposed to take all the heroes out today to fight some of the weaker monsters. It¡¯s so they can finally experience fighting monsters, and also so that they can increase their stats by ¡®leveling up¡¯ I guess you could say. It¡¯s not really what happens, but some of us have just attached that name to it. It works well enough. ¡®Absorbing the magic from dead monsters¡¯ just doesn¡¯t have quite the same ring to it. It¡¯s also something that each of us heroes can understand. I don¡¯t really feel like going, to be honest. I¡¯d rather hang around back here with Eliza. Even if she hasn¡¯t reciprocated my feelings, she seems to enjoy my company well enough, and that¡¯s more than enough for me. The fact that she hasn¡¯t started avoiding me or voiced any dissatisfaction even after she knows about my feelings is a good sign. At least, it should be. To be honest, my only romantic experience is with Eliza in my past life, so I¡¯m not really one hundred percent sure of her feelings right now. Based on what I know of Eliza, though, I think I have a pretty good shot. Even though I don¡¯t feel like joining the other heroes in their first monster hunting experience, I realize I should probably go. Not only to once again show that I am powerful, which should raise morale and everyone¡¯s confidence in me once again, but I am also curious about something. That is, my future potential. In this life, I¡¯ve started off with absurdly high stats. The question I have, then, is how far can they grow? In my past life, my intelligence started at around 2,000, and topped out around 14,000. That means my final intelligence was 7 times larger than when my initial intelligence. If that 7 times translates over to my current intelligence¡ Well, it¡¯d frankly be ridiculous. That would give me over 700,000 intelligence. I don¡¯t really know if I believe it to be possible for such a ridiculous stat to actually happen, but I can¡¯t be completely sure. After all, I¡¯m not even technically human anymore, so you never know. I truly have no clue what the limits of a Transcendent Human could be. Either way, I doubt just a few goblins or wind wolves will help much, if at all, considering the extreme difference in stats. I sighed and got ready to leave, nonchalantly throwing plenty of camping materials into a pocket dimension. ¡ ¡°ALL RIGHT THEN, IS EVERYBODY HERE?¡± There was some muttering among the group of heroes that basically amounted to ¡®yes¡¯. God, that was such a high schooler response that it¡¯s almost a little embarrassing. I just want to get this going and over with. That way I can be back with Eliza quicker. "GOOD! The maids should be here any moment!" I almost ignored him, but then I heard the word ¡®maids¡¯. Wait, so the maids are coming along with us. I wonder why? I know that they should have at least a small amount of training. It¡¯s something the royalty ensures so that in case of an attack or assassination attempt on someone within the castle they can help to protect them. Well, even though I don¡¯t know why they¡¯re coming, I¡¯m not going to complain. After all, this means that Eliza is coming with us! Turns out I didn¡¯t have to be worried about not seeing her today. While we waited for the maids to get here, the rest of the students gathered into their groups and started talking. I was just kinda left out. Not that I have a problem with that, nor does it surprise me. I mean, I haven¡¯t even seen some of them at all since coming to this world because I don¡¯t go to the training sessions. In fact, I¡¯m far more surprised by the fact that someone is still approaching me. A girl from my class with long, red hair. I¡¯m not gonna lie, I don¡¯t remember her name at all. Not even a first letter is coming up. She must¡¯ve been unimportant in my past life. When she reached me, she put on sultry smile and leaned towards me a little bit. Enough to allow me to see quite a bit of cleavage. ¡°Soo~, Mason, I hear you¡¯re really strong. I just so happen to like strong men.¡± She said as she leaned in even closer. She brought a hand up and seemed as if she was going to start tracing my, admittedly impressive, abs through my shirt. As she did so, I felt something attempt to invade my mind as every aspect of her was amplified immensely. Her cherry lips seemed to magnify themselves to me, along with her ample cleavage. As I stared at her, all I could think was¡ ¡®How unappealing.¡¯ Frankly, she looked fairly average to me, I would almost say ugly. I don¡¯t know why she thought she could try to seduce me in public and right before a battle, but it obviously didn¡¯t work. I grabbed her hand before she could actually touch my abs. ¡°Oh! So passionate.¡± She seemed to think I was overtaken by desire or something. That¡¯s kind of ridiculous considering where we are. I wonder if she¡¯s just stupid? Before she could get any other ideas, I took her by her shoulders and forcefully turned her around, then gave her a push forward back towards the group she came from. There were three of them there, all looking at me in shock. She also seems to be frozen in shock. So I can pretty much assume this is something she does often, and that she usually succeeds. Which also begs the question of why she even tries to do so in the first place. A quick use of shows me exactly why, in the form of the skills and . A decidedly vulgar combination of skills, though it does seem effective. , in case you haven¡¯t figured it out, helps her to seduce people. It also seems to have an almost 100% success rate at the level she has it at. is a skill that activates during sex, and steals some of the status points from the victim. Apparently, more stats are taken when the victim¡¯s stats are much greater than the user¡¯s. That¡¯s probably why she targeted me. I wasn¡¯t exactly being subtle when I mentioned my excessive stats. Then again, I also wonder how she got the skill. It sounds like a racial skill for, well¡ succubus. If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. I decided to satiate my curiosity using . Kaitlyn¡¯s acquisition of the Skill: Your classmate, Kaitlyn, has acquired the skill by evolving a skill she had before. The skill is gotten by acquiring money using your body. This skill can be evolved into the skill which can allow the user to acquire stats using their body. I coughed a little from the pure shock. I¡¯m sure that if I was drinking something, I would have spit it out. This means that the very universe itself has declared Kaitlyn a whore. I¡¯m not really sure how I should feel about this. I ignored it and decided instead to think about how she was seducing me. Even though I would obviously never fall for the seduction, I am still a little bit worried about my reaction. To be more specific, the complete lack of one. Even though in my past life I was almost 25, right now I¡¯m only 17. Meaning I still have the raging hormones any teenager would have. The simple fact is, even if I didn¡¯t want it to happen, my body still probably should¡¯ve showed some sort of reaction (If you know what I mean). However, nothing happened at all. Not even a twitch¡ ...ED? I paled at the thought that came straight from my nightmares. Surely not, with my constitution, I should be raring to go well into my seventies. I wiped away the nervous sweat that had gathered on my hands as I turned around. In doing so, I got a full view of what I consider a glorious sight. In front of me was Eliza, not in her usual maid clothes. Instead, she was wearing a leather chestplate, and dangerously short shorts. More importantly, she happened to be bent over, strapping something to her ankle. I wasn¡¯t paying much attention to whatever was being strapped on, as I was a bit too preoccupied with the sight of her¡ rear end being just five feet in front of me. I am not ashamed to admit that I continued staring until she had stood straight once again. I am also not ashamed to admit that I am still definitely vigorous. ¡°Since everyone¡¯s here, we can set off!¡± I had to put my hands in my pockets and take a few awkward steps as we left the castle. ¡ As soon as we left the capital, I could see where we were heading. It was a place known for training beginners. Aptly named ¡®The Goblin Forest¡¯. Believe it or not, inside you could find goblins. The forest was legitimately unusual. Obviously you could find goblins, but that was literally the only thing found inside. Not a single pack of wind wolves, not even one rogue slime. Even if there is a goblin king inside, which there almost definitely is, there should still be some other monsters there. It was an oddity that everybody had just simply learned to accept by now. It was also something that people had learned to take advantage of, using the weak goblins as ways to allow new adventurers to get used to battle. As we began to travel to the forest, I fell into step with Eliza. I seemed a little out of place, as all the other heroes were talking to each other. There seemed to be two distinct groups, one of maids, and the other of heroes. I was the only exception to this, but I didn¡¯t mind. I much prefer Eliza to any of my classmates. ¡°So, why didn¡¯t you tell me the maids were going on this trip?¡± She is clearly aware of my feelings for her, and should know that I wouldn¡¯t have hesitated about going if she had told me. ¡°Well, I just assumed you weren¡¯t going to come.¡± ¡°Aww, c¡¯mon. We both know I would come the moment I knew you were going. I¡¯m lucky I decided to actually come at the last second, otherwise I would have missed your¡ you.¡± ¡°Oh? What was that you were about to say? Why don¡¯t you tell me?¡± She always looks like she enjoys teasing me. ¡°Well¡ your outfit.¡± I said with a bit of embarrassment, but I will not relent on this point. Even though I have fallen in love with a maid, I¡¯m not really all that into their outfits. They don¡¯t show off any of Eliza¡¯s beautiful legs, which is simply unacceptable to me. Her current outfit is almost ideal. The short shorts allow for a full view of Eliza¡¯s legs to be seen. This is one of the things that lets me go on in life. Now that I think about it, as my personal maid, could I order her to wear something other than a maid outfit? I¡¯ll have to thoroughly check this out later, if it means I will get to see her legs more often. Eliza¡¯s legs just so happen to be my second favorite thing in the world. My first favorite of course being Eliza herself. ¡°Really? How odd. I¡¯ve heard from the other maids that most people from your world seem to really like the maid outfits for some reason.¡± I snorted, of course those stupid 17 year olds couldn¡¯t understand the greatness of legs. ¡°Well I happen to have a more mature outlook on life. With my plentiful experience, I realize what a travesty it is for you to hide your magnificent legs under a maid outfit!¡± I said with more fire than strictly needed. I also only realized what I said after the deed had been done, my passion for her legs erupting before I could stop myself for the sake of public decency. As I thought, all the maids around me were looking at me with a range of different emotions. Some seemed to be looking at me with disgust, luckily that seemed like the minority. Quite a few were blushing at my declaration, including Eliza. Finally, there was another small group that was looking at me and Eliza with smiles on their faces, like they had just found out about some conspiracy. I was embarrassed, but I was also determined not to show it. I¡¯ll only look like a fool if I do. My father always used to say that whatever I do in life, if I do it with confidence, no one will judge me. With that in mind, I looked forward and kept a serious face as we continued walking. Eliza also seemed to recover soon enough, though I didn¡¯t miss her occasional glances at me, followed by a light blush dusting her cheeks. I had to hold back the urge to smile wildly in joy every time I saw that. It was just too adorable, the way her little mouth scrunched up as she too tried to keep a serious face. Unluckily for her, she doesn¡¯t have the skill like I do. We continued like this for the rest of the walk to The Goblin Forest. As we arrived at the outer edge of the forest, Pierre, who was leading the group, turned around. ¡°Okay! As this is your first time out, we will stay together as a group. Also, be sure to stay next to your maids, they should each have the know-how to travel through a forest like this one. We then entered the forest. Each hero was grouped up with their respective maid, and spread out slightly, though everyone made sure to know where the rest of the group was. It was an alright method of training, if a bit overly cautious. Considering the constitution of even the weakest hero here, I doubt a goblin could kill most of us if we let it. Living up to the name ¡®The Goblin Forest¡¯, many of us soon found some goblins. They were easy to take out, so long as they could get their shaking under control. It was honestly kind of pathetic that they were shaking at the sight of these weak monsters with stats less than a hundredth of their own. We had to spend a good half hour at the outskirts of the forest, facing only the weakest goblin variants, just so all of us could get somewhat adjusted to killing something. Actually, I¡¯m sure that some of my classmates have hunted deer or rabbits due to where we lived in the old world, but it¡¯s a world (get it?) of difference to shoot something and end it¡¯s life instantly, and to stab something through the chest and watch as it struggles to breathe it''s last breath. Soon enough though, the rest of my classmates were sufficiently able to kill monsters without flinching or whimpering. When Pierre had deemed all of us prepared enough, we started to travel a bit deeper into the forest. We were far enough in that we were able to meet the stronger goblins, most of which held weapons, but not far enough in to meet hobgoblins. While everyone else was actually trying to get used to battle, and taking their time with each goblin, I ended each of my fights with one move. I usually just use a wind blade to take them out quickly. Wind attacks happen to be my favorite spells to use when facing a single enemy. The ridiculous piercing power of most wind spells can kill the majority beasts in one hit if you¡¯re good enough with the spell. And not to brag, but I just so happen to be more than skilled enough. I didn''t get the skill for nothing. ¡°What is the point of me even being here?¡± Eliza asked with a sigh. I chuckled a little bit. The maids are supposedly here to help us learn about moving through the forest, including pointing out poisonous and edible plants. However, I am without a doubt the most knowledgeable on that front within this group. I had to survive for two full years straight in the wilderness, compared to these maids who have only learned about the things surrounding the capital. ¡°You help to raise my morale.¡± ¡°Oh really? So you can better one shot every enemy you see?¡± She asked with an exaggerated roll of her eyes and a healthy amount of sarcasm. ¡°Um¡ You¡¯re something pretty to look at?¡± I said, a bit unsure how I was supposed to respond to what is a true statement from her. ¡°I forgot, you seem to like my legs well enough.¡± I coughed a bit to hide my embarrassment from my earlier outburst. She smirked a bit at my reaction, clearly amused. ¡°Haaaa~, what a terrible master I have. To think he would have a fetish for legs.¡± She said in mock sorrow as she wiped a fake tear from her eye. I laughed a bit at her antics, and she wasn¡¯t against joining me in my laughter. ¡°Hey, in my defense, at least I don¡¯t have a foot fetish.¡± ¡°... Fair enough.¡± Luckily, we were both in agreement on this point. ¡°So, any other fetishes I need to know about?¡± Asked Eliza with a teasing raise of her eyebrows. ¡°Hm? And just why would you need to know anything about my fetishes?¡± I shot back quickly, an eyebrow raised. ¡°Why, obviously so I can warn the princess. I¡¯m already prepared to tell her not to show her legs to you, who knows what you¡¯d do if she did.¡± We both laughed and continued the leisurely conversation while those around us were busy fighting seriously. The rest of the trip continued like that. We had travelled somewhat far into the forest, and made our stand there for an hour or so. After doing so, we left the forest and went back to the castle. Some of the physically weaker heroes looked to be quite exhausted from our short three hour trip, but most of us were in good condition. The maids separated from the group as we got to the castle, so they could change back into their maid attire. It was a very saddening moment, but I made sure to get a good, long look at Eliza¡¯s legs as she walked away. Pierre then gave some sort of pep talk to the rest of us, but I wasn¡¯t really paying attention. Although I was a bit unsettled when I heard the words, ¡®Take every chance you¡¯ve got!¡¯ while he stared at me with fire in his eyes. Deciding that that was my cue, I hurriedly fled the scene. Back in my room, I was able to settle down from the slightly more eventful day. I was sitting on my bed thinking when Eliza walked into my room. She was in a maid outfit, much to my sheer disappointment. ¡°You¡¯re back already? I know for a fact the captain is still giving his speech, you can hear it from anywhere in the castle.¡± ¡°Well, he was saying a few scary things while looking at me, so I thought I¡¯d bounce.¡± She chuckled a bit, already aware of my¡ peculiar relationship with the man. ¡°Well, I¡¯m afraid I won¡¯t be able to chat today, I just stopped by to drop off a set of clean clothes for you.¡± She emphasized by holding up the folded clothes in her hand. I already told her I could handle cleaning my clothes with magic, but so far she¡¯s just ignored me and continued doing her job. Setting down the clothes, she proceeded to leave the room. At the door, however, she stopped and turned around. ¡°One more thing, Mason.¡± She smiled cheekily as I looked on in confusion. All of a sudden, to my utter shock, she grabbed the hem of her maid outfit, and lifted it up so that I could get a good view of her fine legs. As I was busy dealing with my fluttering heart, Eliza ran out of the room quickly. Gods, do I love that girl. I also may need to rethink my stance on maid outfits... Hey, arent they just too adorable!? I¡¯m gonna be totally honest with you here. For the month that I¡¯ve been in this world, I¡¯ve only been looking at Eliza. That¡¯s why I didn¡¯t notice before. I seem to no longer find any other girls attractive. I don¡¯t mean in a ¡®Oh she¡¯s cute but can¡¯t compare to Eliza¡¯ type of way. I mean I straight up can¡¯t seem to find a good point on anybody else other than Eliza. I know that in my past life, Eliza was basically the only person I would look at. That doesn¡¯t mean I didn¡¯t acknowledge that some other girls were cute or pretty. Of course, none of them actually could compare to Eliza, but that¡¯s besides the point - and should be obvious anyways. That¡¯s why I¡¯m currently wandering the hallways, and secretly looking at the people that I pass. I¡¯ve been putting them on a scale from 1-10. 5 being average, 10 being beautiful, and 1 being ugly. There¡¯s just one problem with that though. As I pass another maid, I casually scan her form up and down, and take a good look at her face. 5/10 And there it is. The problem. So far, I¡¯ve rated everyone at a 5/10. I¡¯m trying not to, I swear! However, I¡¯m also trying to be truthful, otherwise this would have no meaning, and the simple fact is that I really can¡¯t seem to find anyone other than Eliza attractive. The only reason I¡¯m even rating them as a five is because it means they¡¯re average or not special. I know that this is probably a good indicator of just how much I love Eliza, but it still slightly irks me. I can feel that if I were to use my X-ray vision spell to look through the clothes of all the women in the castle, my body still wouldn¡¯t react. That¡¯s just unnatural I tell you! Not that this is a particularly terrible problem, to be honest. It¡¯s not like I would ever want to cheat - ignore the fact that we are not actually dating in this lifetime - on Eliza in the first place. I just think it¡¯s interesting that even my natural, biological reactions as a man are being circumvented because of my love. Although I suppose my love for Eliza has already transcended what¡¯s normal considering the fact that I have the skill . That skill still won¡¯t stop me from experimenting a little bit with my body¡¯s reaction. That¡¯s why I¡¯m currently sitting in on today¡¯s practice. I usually skip it because they have nothing to teach me, and because nobody will stop me. Those are the benefits of showing off a little bit, although I suppose a ¡®little bit¡¯ to me is more than enough to scare most people off. I had to carefully plan out when I would sit in on practice for one simple reason. Pierre. That madman seems to have figured out that I usually just follow Eliza around in my freetime. My has saved me from a confrontation with him more than once. Today, however, is different. Pierre is out of the castle for some stupid noble duty. Conveniently enough, Eliza also has some weird meeting with the other maids. I don¡¯t really know what it¡¯s about, but it doesn¡¯t really concern me in the first place.I don¡¯t really have anything to do when she¡¯s not around in the first place¡ I need to get a hobby. At the training area, everyone¡¯s getting a good workout in. Of course, that only applies to those with physical-oriented skills. The magic-based heroes are working hard in their own way, learning different spells and testing them out. This doesn¡¯t change the fact that the physical fighters are the more eye-catching of the two groups. The guys are wearing shorts, and they have their shirts off, completely exposing their upper bodies. None of them are particularly shy about it, considering the fact that their strength stat has made them look like they¡¯ve been going to the gym every day of their life for intense workouts. The girls are wearing what looks like short shorts and sports bras. It¡¯s so they can move around with a negligible level of discomfort. It allows their bodies to get used to the movement in preparation for when they really put on their heavier gear. This also means it¡¯s the perfect chance to check out girls who¡¯re in the bare minimum of training gear. At least, that¡¯s how some random pervert would see it. To be honest, I don¡¯t really see how it¡¯s all that appealing. I¡¯m sure I understood it in my past life before I came to this world. I can understand it logically, but getting it emotionally is different. I know that most normal men would be relishing in the scene of multiple high school girls showing lots of skin, but I can¡¯t really see the appeal when they aren¡¯t Eliza. Actually, by imagining that Eliza is taking their place, I can somewhat understand. Reminding myself that I¡¯m not with Eliza right now has kinda made me a little sad though, so I¡¯ll just focus on what I was doing before. Before I could actually get back into it, a figure came up to me. Kaitlyn, the girl with the skill. She was somehow wearing even less than the rest of the girls. It¡¯s odd, considering she no doubt would have had to work quite a while to trim her gear down to what it is now. The fact that she put that much effort into showing more skin is a little amazing. It¡¯s really not hiding anything except the more important parts, though. I can almost see her entire breast, for instance. Also, her ¡®shorts¡¯ are bordering on underwear status. Judging from the stares of the other guys who¡¯re training, I can tell they¡¯ve noticed it as well. Of course, they all seem more excited about it than I am. Kaitlyn seems to have noticed my lackluster reaction to her showing up in front of me, and looks to be a little peeved by it. Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings. ¡°Hello Mason~.¡± She said in an overly flirtatious voice while fluttering her eyelashes. She nonchalantly pulled her bra a little, passing it off as a way to cool down on a hot day. She can¡¯t fool me though. I can tell she¡¯s doing it on purpose from the way her eyes are wandering over me to gauge my reaction. ¡°Hey.¡± I responded without batting an eye. I also didn¡¯t shy away from looking at her, which might be why she¡¯s wearing a slightly triumphant look on her face. I sighed, I almost feel bad for her. After all, her skill can only get great stats from people who are stronger than her. It¡¯s almost sad that I, who has the highest stats of any human, am physically unable to do it with her. Not that I would want to, but even if I did, I literally wouldn¡¯t be able to get it up. ¡°I¡¯m kinda tired, I was thinking about relaxing for a bit back in my room, would you like to join me? After all, I¡¯d be terribly lonely all by myself, and you could¡ keep me company.¡± She made a pouty face and said the last part very suggestively. It looks like she thought my staring was enough of a victory to try out her skill on me again. It¡¯s ineffectiveness hasn¡¯t changed one bit since last time. I figured if anyone could get a reaction out of me, it would be her. Considering that my body won¡¯t react due to the effects of a skill, it¡¯s only natural that I would need another skill to overcome it. Even that seems to have been a bust. If anything like that would work, I¡¯d need an even stronger skill to be used against me, but the chances of such a skill even existing are very slim. Not that it really matters, I just wanted to test the limits of my skill. The conclusion is, no matter what I do, or how hard I try, I will only react to Eliza. It¡¯s not exactly unexpected, but still good to know, I guess. Just one more thing to spend time on when Eliza¡¯s not available. I finally decided to answer Kaitlyn¡¯s expectant and confident gaze. ¡°Nah, I¡¯m good.¡± With that, I left quickly. Well, now that I have my answer, I can go see if Eliza¡¯s done with her meeting. I don¡¯t really have anything to do other than wait for her¡ I seriously need to get myself a hobby. ¡ Grrrr!! That stupid man! How could he not have fallen for my charms!? If there¡¯s one thing I¡¯ve learned to be confident about, it¡¯s my appearance. I¡¯ve always lived my life knowing that I¡¯d never be anything particularly spectacular or special. Slightly below average intelligence, physical ability, and social skills. All that, along with my family¡¯s poor financial state, made it clear to me that I¡¯d never be able to get into a good, or bad, college. It wasn¡¯t always clear to me when I was younger. I would look at the older, cooler kids who were graduating and going off to college and think, ¡®I¡¯m gonna be just like that someday.¡¯ I always thought I¡¯d be able to do it. Go to college, get a good job, and make my parents proud. The reality is much harsher, I realized when I entered high school. My family was barely able to feed me with my growing body, let alone the fact that I have a brother who¡¯s growing as well. That¡¯s why I decided to use the one thing I had going for me. I had always known I was beautiful, and more well-developed than most of my friends, but it was always something I would¡¯ve traded for intelligence without a moment of hesitation. Not that that has changed since then. When I learned I could make money using my body¡ well, I just did it. There wasn¡¯t much thinking involved. I knew it was unsavory and something looked down upon, but money was money. I didn¡¯t really fret too much over it, it was just a way to earn some money for my family which so desperately needs it. They probably knew it as well, considering the worried looks I got when I would hand them money every now and then, but they were in the same situation as me, they understood. Any way to put food on the table every day was accepted as necessary. I just continued that life for a couple of years. That is, until I was whisked off into another world. I have to admit, I¡¯ve never been particularly embarrassed about my ¡®job¡¯, but when the first skills I saw were and , I wanted to punch the stupid benevolent look off that god¡¯s face. I heard that there were skills like , but I didn¡¯t even get that! I seriously wanted to cry for a while there. After reading the skill description of , I was forced to admit that it was an impressive skill with plenty of potential. The only problem with it was that if I wanted to become strong quickly, I would have to sleep with people who were much more powerful than me. Sadly, as my stats are all above 1,000 or nearing it, that rules out all of the native humans in the world. So my choices were narrowed down to my classmates. Of those classmates, less than 10 were guys. Also, I wouldn¡¯t want to sow bad seeds within the group if I were to just suddenly dump them so I could sleep with someone who had better stats in one area. The result of my deep pondering was that I would find the strongest guy in the group, and claim him. At first, I thought it¡¯d be Jason. It was only natural when he took the leadership role so quickly. I might have also been hoping for it a little, as he¡¯s the most good-looking guy in our class. I was pretty shocked when I found out that the strongest in our group was, without a sliver of a doubt, Mason. I had considered him when he took charge of killing monsters after we were teleported, but I just assumed he was a calm and collected guy. In class, before the transfer, I had always seen him as that guy with no presence. More accurately, I didn¡¯t see him. He wasn¡¯t in any friend group that I could associate him with. It¡¯s kinda surprising that he could be someone so powerful. There was no doubting it after he spewed off a variety of skills that was honestly unfair, or when he took down Captain Pierre so effortlessly. From there, he was my target. There were a few problems with that, though. He never comes to training, meaning I don¡¯t get to see him at the one thing that¡¯s a staple in this world. I took this as a good sign though, after all, it just means he¡¯s really strong. However, even when I tried to find him outside of training, I only ever saw him walking around with his maid. I could¡¯ve tried to go for it, but it¡¯s hard to set the mood or tempt him if there¡¯s another girl there, not to mention that it¡¯s a girl he¡¯s close to. That¡¯s why I¡¯ve tried to cherish these oh so rare moments when I can try my on him. Therein lies the last, most concerning problem. He shows no reaction at all to . Just now, he completely ignored my ¡®tired and pouty¡¯ routine. I don¡¯t understand it! He was definitely eyeing my breasts without shame just a moment ago, but the moment I offer him a chance to ¡®explore more thoroughly¡¯, he leaves without a second thought. I huffed and stomped after him. By the time he was in my sights, I was able to calm myself down just enough to not make it obvious I was following him . There, once again, I saw him standing in the hall talking to his maid. It¡¯s the only time I see him actually smile. On top of that, it¡¯s not some half-assed ¡®I don¡¯t really have to smile but I¡¯m socially obligated to¡¯ smile. It¡¯s this dumb smile like a puppy that¡¯s excitedly greeting it¡¯s owner as they walk through the door. Not only is it the only time I see him happy, it¡¯s also a time that I see him only being happy. That maid has thrown out jabs that would massacre thinner-skinned men, but Mason always takes them with a laugh and a, albeit softer, comeback. All he does is smile and be happy when she¡¯s around. Not even a flash of anger or annoyance has flickered over his face even once. I continued to watch their stupidly cute interactions. ¡°Eliza, did you always have to clean these halls like this, or did something change when my group came?¡± ¡°We used to have other duties too, but now it¡¯s mostly this and taking care of you guys.¡± ¡°Is that so¡ does that mean that if I finish cleaning everything for you, you¡¯ll have to spend more time with me!?¡± ¡°I guess? Does it really matter though, all you do is follow me around anyways.¡± ¡°Well, ya know, sometimes I just wanna look at you while you¡¯re relaxing.¡± Ah, god! He makes it so obvious that he¡¯s in love! Eliza, his maid, seems to have realized it as well, and turned away from him. I would say she¡¯s embarrassed, but I can still see her face from here, and she has the same expression as always. I feel kinda bad for Mason. Throwing his heartfelt feelings out there like that to such an emotionless girl. Don¡¯t give up, Mason! Your feelings will reach her one day! Wai - NO! I¡¯m supposed to be seducing him, not rooting for his love life! ¡°...Well, if we hurry, we could have some extra time together today¡ just to talk.¡± GAH! She¡¯s so adorable! Mason was able to reach her through her shell of emotionlessness. I can¡¯t even focus on seducing him when I see Mason acting so happy just because of that one sentence from her. Just the thought of hanging out with her brings him such happiness! He¡¯s so in love! They¡¯d make such a cute couple. He¡¯s already so lovey-dovey with her, I can just imagine him holding her tight after they¡¯re an item. Then he¡¯d whisper sweet nothings into her ear, and she would blush, and he¡¯d fall even more in love. Then, when they¡¯ve grown old, he would let her be cranky and angry at him because he thinks that that part of her is adorable as well. Then¡ Then... I can feel my resolve to seduce him fading, but I must stay strong. ...Well, I¡¯m sure if I just slept with two or three of the other classmates, I¡¯d be able to get strong enough. I hear Jake has a really high Intelligence stat. Him and Logan, who is supposed to have high physical stats. In fact, I¡¯m sure it¡¯s even more efficient that way. It¡¯s not because I want Mason x Eliza to happen. I swear it¡¯s not!
