Thenza was born exactly how he didn¡¯t want to be, a small, scrawny kid that was much lighter than his average age group and he hated it. And that was what ran through his mind as he crept along the forest floor on his way to take out a small party of goblins that he had spotted creeping around his small town. See everyone was born with a class and an element, Thenza¡¯s were rouge class and wind element he loathed that fact. Ever since he realized what he was he always wanted something more. He wanted to be a strong tall marvelous knight. Someone who was looked up to with a flashy element like fire. Thenza shook himself back to the present and quickly boosted his speed using his element thinking ¡°Come on Thenza this will give you so much experience but only if you stay focused¡± He got slightly giddy at the prospect of leveling up and getting those nice skill points and thinking of what he would do with them. ¡°No stop it, you¡¯re getting ahead of yourself, wait until you have them before ¨C ¡° He immediately shut himself up as he heard footsteps as well as muffled unrecognizable speech. That was the sound of goblins. He quietly used his wind element to increase his jump height and also some base magic to make himself completely silent Heart beating fast he contemplated what to do. ¡°I could appear behind them and quietly stab them¡± he mused to himself ¡± or I could feel like a hero and take them out headfirst!¡± He said as he jumped straight at the goblins summoning a solid air knife nicknamed swift death He landed straight on top of one of 5 goblins stabbing it through the skull then flipped off striking at their legs Two down 3 to go he called upon his element to take them up and keep them stationary as he threw his sword at all three of them. I¡¯m out of mana¡± Thenza was freaking out all he was figuring out what in Aran to do, Then the leader goblin ran at him. He was about to dodge when he heard a ¡®Hiss Flick!¡¯ and an arrow made of pure ice skewered the beast¡¯s heart. I looked over and saw exactly who I expected ¡°Lucia!¡± I exclaimed, ¡°thank Anthral you¡¯re here um I could have saved myself!¡± ¡°I sincerely doubt that Thenza¡± said Lucia ¡°whatever¡± Lucia was a mildly short curly haired blonde hunter with an ice element and proficiency with a bow ¡°well back to the point, I guess we¡¯ll share skill points?¡± Lucia said ¡°Yeah¡± Thenza replied Lucia then opened her menu with the command Arcro, retrieved two small diamond-like crystal and directed it towards Thenza. They sunk into his heart and rejuvenated him greatly ¡°Hmm what should I use them on?¡± Thenza pondered ¡°From what I saw, probably one for element strength and one for mana efficiency¡± Lucia replied , ¡°you were watching that entire time weren¡¯t you.¡± Thenza inquired ¡°yep¡± Lucia replied Thenza hung his head and said ¡°Arcro¡± and added the skill points. Thenza yelled after her ¡°I can protect myself you know!¡± But she was already gone. The next morning Thenza barely got home in time for elemental training (compulsory for all kids under 20) He gathered his things and ran barely getting there in time, sitting with the rest of the wind element and waving a friendly hello to Lucia Neath and Rothan who were in their respective elements being ice, earth and life; Everyone silenced up as a particular figure ran in, Master Jessie, casually doing a flip and landing in the middle of us all and addressing the class ¡°Alright everyone, today we will be learning the ways of using your element as a shield¡± The entire class responded with a bow and a crisp ¡°Of Course!¡± ¡°Good, you need to focus on the thought of protection and use your element to create a ball around yourself. If your thoughts about what protects you are strong then your shield will be strong, now pack into groups of four different elementals and get practicing your shield strength!¡± All of the class bowed and crisply said ¡°Of Course!¡± And ran off to find groups. Lucia, Rothan, Neath, and Thenza all sent up a white beam of light using the simple level one spell; ¡®Beacon¡¯ and met up in the bottom right corner of the training hall to get practicing. Even after an hour of training, everyone seemed to be having a lot of trouble generating a shield using their element. The fire section was struggling the most as it takes a lot of practice to create solid fire. ¡°Enough! Gather round!¡± Master Jessie exclaimed. ¡°You¡¯ve all have had a red hot go at this, but most of you need some more practice. So go home and keep practicing!¡± Master Jessie said and then dismissed the class. As Thenza stumbled out of elemental training he was joined by his friends Neath, Rothan and Lucia ¡°Hey guys¡± Thenza yelled ¡°Hey Thenza¡± they all replied in unison And they all walked down the pathway and split off their respective way till Thenza was walking alone and to himself. ¡°Gee, that was intense,¡± he said to himself. ¡°But enjoyable¡± he admitted. As he walked in the door of his house he was shocked to smell the beauty of his favorite food, pasta! He ran down the hallway as fast as his wind element could take him and jumped as fast as he could at the bowl of hot pasta that was sitting on the table before him. As he ate away he was rejuvenated and he went to bed feeling great that particular night, not knowing what was in store for tomorrow. Chapter 1 As Thenza awoke he Thought that today was going to be a normal day. But as he went downstairs he realized something was wrong as his mother was staring wide-eyed at the Television. ¡°What¡¯s wrong?¡± Thenza inquired. ¡°4 people just disappeared this morning all at 8:42¡± she replied worriedly ¡°gee that¡¯s creepy, does anyone know where they wound up?¡± he asked. ¡°no one knows it¡¯s like they just vanished off the face of the earth. Reports have been saying that they started floating and then just disappeared¡± she said. ¡°Well anyway, I¡¯m going to go to Rothan¡¯s House!¡± He called to his mother. ¡°Be careful!¡± His mother called. ¡°Sure thing¡± Thenza called back. As Thenza walked out of his house and on to Mythral avenue he thought about his friends, were they ok? what if one of them got hurt? He wouldn¡¯t be able to take that, wanting to make sure that his friends were ok he started running as fast as he could be using his element. ¡°come on, Come On¡± he pleaded He ran as fast as he could all the way until he made it to Rothan¡¯s house As he reached for the door handle it swung open and Thenza was greeted by a smirking face. ¡°Hi Thenza, In a rush?¡± Rothan asked. ¡°Oh thank Anthral you¡¯re ok¡± Thenza answered in evident relief. ¡°Don¡¯t worry I¡¯m fine, let me guess it¡¯s about the disappearances this morning?¡± Rothan Questioned. ¡°You got it, do you know whether or not the others are ok?¡± Thenza inquired. ¡°No need to worry their all fine. Now shall we do something?¡± Rothan asked. ¡°Yeah, wanna meet up with the rest of the group?¡± Thenza inquired. ¡°Yeah let¡¯s go¡± Rothan finalized. As they walked along the path They got a tingling feeling running up their arms and in a split second they were up, floating in the air. Panicking and not knowing what to do they both tried to break free. but to no avail. He looked around, he observed¡­ Nothing, only pitch black, he then figured out that he was weightless but yet held in place and unable to move What felt like hours of silence passed. ¡°Am I dead?¡± he asked aloud to himself. As he pondered what to do he was ripped out of that black void and was levitated onto a stone bed covered with light green vines and leaves it was comfortable. Thenza looked around to observe his new surroundings, there was warm golden light bathing the room in a heavenly glow there were four other beds each containing¡­ ¡°Lucia, Rothan! And someone we don¡¯t know¡± Thenza yelled in surprise. They all sat up with a surprised look on their face. ¡°Who are you?¡± Thenza directed a question at the unknown child. ¡°My name is Teflon, I¡¯m nine and have an element of lightning, anything else you need to know?¡± Teflon replied ¡°Um ok, do you know where we are?¡± Thenza asked ¡°Of course, this was my former home,¡± Teflon answered ¡°The guy who owns this place is my father¡­ he isn¡¯t a nice man.¡± Teflon continued. ¡°What do you mean?¡± Lucia chimed in. ¡°Well I mean this place has the power to abduct 120 people from all the realms in this universe. Two teams of four people from all the 15 realms in-¡± ¡°Hang on, but are you part of one of those realms?¡± Lucia interrupted ¡°No, He just probably chucked me into this as a filler for a team and that team appears to be you.¡± Teflon explained ¡°Ah well.¡± Lucia ended the conversation ¡°At least we¡¯re together¡± Thenza continued trying to put a positive spin on a bad situation ¡°Thenza, shut up and help us figure out where we are and what to do to get back¡± Lucia snapped from her stone bed Before Thenza got a chance to reply to a misty image of a man appeared out of thin air ¡°Greetings¡± the unknown man calmly said ¡°Who¡­ is that?¡± Thenza leaned over and whispered to Rothan. ¡°How am I supposed to know?¡± Rothan replied Teflon looked at the unknown man in absolute horror ¡°That¡¯s, my father!¡± Rothan sprung up in front of the man. ¡°Why have you taken us here?¡± Rothan shouted at the man ¡°Ah well, per every thousand years, I am running a tournament to decide who the next successor to this house of control will be! Remember you might just win! now Shut Up!¡± Rothan hastily backed away from the evidently furious man ¡°Father, why am I in this?¡± Teflon quickly stood up and asked. ¡°Ahh, Teflon it¡¯s because I needed a bit of¡­ A filler.¡± the man replied. How cruel can you be? Throwing your own son into a tournament of inter-realm death!¡± Thenza stuck up for Teflon. Ignoring Thenza the mysterious man turned his back on Thenza and started walking. ¡°Good luck!¡± he mockingly called as he dispersed into smoke. ¡°Ok Teflon, we''re going to need some more information¡± Thenza turned to Teflon. ¡°Sure¡­his real name is Salvador¡­ Salvador Diablo.¡± Teflon explained ¡°so is that your Last name too?¡± Thenza inquired. ¡°Look I¡¯d prefer it if you just referred to me as Teflon¡± Teflon quietly said. ¡°Ahh, touchy subject¡± Thenza inferred. And they all were lifted up into the air and teleported into the empty inky blackness once again. chapter 2 Chapter 2 As the darkness enveloped Thenza once again he wasn¡¯t as worried at all as he knew what was happening he lay immobile against the nothingness and tried to sleep to pass the hours and hours of time that were flowing past him but to no avail. He waited and waited not able to pass the time until he popped back into reality in an apparently metal room, everything completely chrome. As he looked around he saw his friends who had appeared, each on one circle identically like the one that he appeared on and just like the ones that were in the room that they had all appeared in earlier. ¡°Lucia, Rothan and¡­ Teflon! But¡­ Still no Neath.¡± Thenza observed ¡°Don¡¯t worry Thenza, he¡¯s probably freaking out and trying to get us all out.¡± Rothan comforted him. ¡°Yeah but that doesn¡¯t make me feel any better.¡± Thenza retorted But before he could continue, the voice of the mysterious man interrupted him ¡°As of today you will be stripped of all your current weapons and armour. You will be provided with a simple set of black clothes and a wooden weapon that matches the one that you would normally use¡± The voice explained. ¡°What about my Excalibur!? I had like four hundred levels on that thing!¡± someone down the hall shouted. ¡°gee, that must hurt¡± Rothan winced, feeling very glad that he had left his javelin (nicknamed ¡®Spikes¡¯) at home. ¡°However, in the time that the tournament takes you will be able to upgrade these weapons and armour however you like¡± The voice continued. And from a shower of sparks came a package, levitating in place above them they all reached out to touch them they absorbed into their bodies. They all checked their menus. But in the end Rothan managed to combine their elements into a ball that slowly hovered in his hands. ¡°Aicatie Keshran!¡± Rothan chanted The ball rose from his hands and so did the wooden weapons they all carried. Quickly Thenza snatched all of the weapons out of the air, and used his element to create solid air copies of them. Lucia and Teflon both gave him a confused look and he looked back with a look that said ¡°I¡¯ll explain later.¡± They both shrugged their shoulders and excepted his explanation. The ball expanded into a disc about a metre wide and just about as thin as a grain of sand, however it shimmered like a mother of pearl shell. All of the weapons collected under the disc and the disc came down stretching around all the weapons and giving them a slight glow. ¡°so, is it done?¡± Thenza asked ¡°it should be¡± Rothan answered ¡°awesome.¡± Thenza finished as he picked up his newly enchanted weapon Lucia then proceeded to pick up her bow and quiver of arrows, then Teflon followed suit and finally Rothan plucked his javelin out of the air. ¡°One problem, these are going to be incredibly easy to lose.¡± Rothan said, referring to the fact that the weapons were almost invisible apart from the glow. ¡°True, but I have the ability to compress them into containers, plus, they weigh almost nothing¡± Thenza explained. ¡°That¡¯s¡­ Awesome¡± Lucia admitted ¡°Yeah anyone got jars I could put these in?¡± Thenza asked ¡°I do; I keep a few test tubes with screw on lids for emergencies¡± Teflon answered ¡°That¡¯s great! can I use eight of them?¡± Thenza asked ¡°I don¡¯t see why not.¡± Teflon answered as he handed 8 of his test tubes over to Thenza Thenza then immediately took some time to compress each weapon into a test tube and then looked at the remaining test tubes wondering what to do with them. Then he got an incredible idea ¡°Hey everyone, can you all fill one of these tubes with a bit of your element?¡± Thenza asked ¡°ok¡± they all said in unison and proceeded to do so. ¡°may I ask why?¡± Lucia asked Thenza then replied with. ¡°see now we have elemental bombs!¡±
