《IQ 100+ Samoyed》 Ch1 And I Thought I was Smart I burrowed my head into my owner, Eva''s arms as I was feeling a tad light-headed, and snuggled in her embrace, tail wrapping around her forearm. "What is it, Eden?" She asked, with an indulging smile on her wrinkly face. I whimpered slightly, trying to express my discomfort. I had learned long ago that Eva doesn''t understand what I''m saying, though she seems to pretend that she does, so I resort to making sounds. My chest tightened, and I started to pant labouriously, still whimpering. Eva caught on that something was wrong, and started to worry, asking "What''s wrongEden? Does it hurt? Do we need to get you to the Children''s Hospital"? Not wanting her to burden herself with me, I shook my head, fluffy milky white ears brushing against her nightgown. I knew I was getting old, and all living things must die. Trying to reassure her, I licked her face gently, panting a bit harder. The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation. "Are you sure you''re alright dear?" I nodded again. She chuckled and pat my furry head, "That''s good then." I let out a relieved sigh, and my heart began to clench painfully, then my eyes were overtaken by darkness. I apologized for leaving my precious owner behind alone, the thought of her silent figure sitting sadly on her rocking chair brought tears to my blue eyes before my soul left my tired, old body. Feeling something strange caressing my cheek, my eyes fluttered. Glimpsingsomething creamy white, I forced my eyelids open. And right in frontof my face was a gigantic....egg... shell? I stared at it, dumbfounded.Wasn''t I supposed to be dead? Snapping out of my stupor, I lifted my head up to look at my surroundings.Trees, trees, trees, more trees, a huuuugerock, ooooh a rabbit!! I wanna chase it! Wait. No!FocusEden. There were indeed tall trees surrounding me, but WHAT WAS WITH THE SWIRLS ON IT!??!!?! I mean....trees on Earth don''t have exotic blue swirly swirls on it right?!?! And that rabbit....it had another eye on the middle of its forehead..... I''m pretty sure Eva educated me to be smart enough to realize what these things I''m seeing are supposed to be....... Good Woof what is happening......... It can''t be that I hit my head right? Haha, that must be it..... WTF My Cute Fluffy Tail is Gone Ahhhhh, screw it.....I''ll just pretend I never saw anything weird instead, save myselffrom a whole bunch of trouble.I thought, face-pawing myself. The absenceof a soft and fluffy feeling of my paw-pads and fur made me look down questioningly at my paw-err, hands?!?!?!Why the f*ck do I have hands?????? OH crap Eva, I''m sorry for swearing!!! But seriously, I''m an adorable white-furred Samoyed dog, aren''t I? Then why do I have human hands?!!!? Having a bad feeling, I quickly checked the rest of my body. My cute, big tail was gone! GONE! Only to be replaced by a lizard-like, no, it''s definitelya dragon-like tail that was covered in rough, pure black scales. What? Have issues with my assessment of my new depressing dragon tail? It''s definitelya majestic dragon tail I tell you. Ahhhhhh....but even so...it''s still way inferior to my old fluffy white tail. *sigh* Wait. If I had a dragon tail........doesn''t that mean I''m also a lizar- ahem, dragon?!? Ai, what a disaster.....afterall, don''t humans like to capture rare and valuable things?Tsk tsk tsk, so shameless...... But of course, Eva is an exception! Putting aside my endless sorrow from the replacement of my old tail, I started inspecting my strangely black nails and toenails that tapered into points. Wondering how sharp they were, I stabbed a nearby swirly tree on the trunk. c-crack! And the abused tree with the honour of being my test subject fell sorrily to the ground after my hands had punctured the trunk directly. I gawked at mylethal weapon of a hand in awe and horror......looks like I''ll have to be really careful when I scratch an itch........ But still, for this new body of mine to have so much strength is unreal. How old am I here now anyway? After some consideration, I decided that I could look for water to use as a mirror so I can look at my new face. Or in coarser words, I "wanna take a look at my new ugly mug." Kekekeke I could also use the water to guess how old I was by judging my face. And so, I sincerely prayed to any passing by kindred spirit or god, hoping my face wouldn''t be too horrifying to look at. But I never really believed in all this supernatural stuff anyway, so I immersed myself in tilting my head left and right to see if I could hear any sound of rushing water. This narrative has been purloined without the author''s approval. Report any appearances on Amazon. Now that I was actually paying attention to sound, I finally noticed that there was no sound of any other living being except for me. There were suddenly no sounds ofthe rabbits or any sound that a normal forest would have. But then again, this forest is super weird so I guess anything could happen. Who knows if they actually have normal animals? They could all be three-eyed like that rabbit from before! I could just totally imagine them with hidden power, suddenly springing up to catch you in the face! *cough* Well, nevermind that. Best to go back to trying to listen for water using my awesomely superb hearing! Still....this is really eerie to hear no sound except for myself...I thought mentally. I suddenly heard the noise of a few droplets of water trickling to my left, so I followed the sound and started hurriedly walking with a nervous grin plastered on my face. It turned out it was a stream not too far from where I woke up. But heck, this forest definitely shouldn''t be from Earth, I mean, even the water has serious issues, like how it was a suspiciously ambiguous yellow colour.........it wouldn''t bethat right?Haha...there''s no way, definitely not. Well, either way, I''m not going to be drinking from it so what''s the harm? I thought, trying to reassure myself. I peered into the yellow water only to see an unfamiliar looking face. It looked alien....nothing familiar to my old appearance, except for maybe the narrowed and wolfish eyes. Nothing else retained any semblance to my fluffy-moe filled face from before. Though the shape of the eyes were similiar, there were still large differences. Like how the whites were completely black just like my tail and nails, and the pupils sported the look of a dragon. To be more precise, the look of a cold-blooded creature. I was thankful to at least see a little bit of my old self in my bright, sky blue pupils, the eyes that Eva had loved so much before, even when my eyes were born with a seemingly dangerous glaring demeanour. Thinking about how Eva would be alone and with no one to take care of her brought tears to my naturally glaring eyes. I shook my head as if to forget, but I knew I would remember my previous owner for as long as I live. For her, she who raised me, and taught me wholeheartedly and gave me love, I will live as freely and as happily as I could muster. Forcing myself away from that train of thought, I focused on the rest of my new body. Shockingly, it seemed to be about the age of a 6-year-old child. I nearly cried with injusticeme, an elderly and wizened lady got turned into a brat again?! (she is elderly for a dog) I gave myself an awkward smile through the reflection, what reflected back was a child''s pale glaring face with traces of intelligence beyond her years. I tugged at my lips, revealing gleaming, obsidian coloured black shark teeth. No longer shocked by everything I saw, I only smile wryly and decided not to test my teeth or horn which for sure are definitely razor-sharp. Oh right. Did I mention I had a horn now? And that I had snowy white hair? Well, the white hair part wasn''t much of a surprise as I always have had white fur. But the horn.......it stuck out from the right side of my temple, curving slightly upwards. It too was jet black and although the length was about as long as my middle finger, the sharpness of the tip was no joke. Basically, I''m most-likely this half-breed or human form monster from an all-powerful demonic liz-dragonbloodline and was cast out because one of my parents were probably a human. Thus, making me, a half-breed. Wow, I should really be a writer, look how I thought up a weird and meaningless backstory for myself. Hahahahaha. Speaking of weird, how do I get out of this strange as heck forest? Isnt It Enough That I Dont Have A Cheat?!?! Growwwwwlllllllllllllllllllll~ My stomach sang unrestrainedly after hours of aimless walking. I glared at it helplessly and started looking around for any edible looking fruits or small animals I could kill. Not like I can poison myself to death right? So I went around looking up at the weird trees to see if there were any fruits or birds I could eat, staring at the pee, I mean- yellow water to find fish or some kind of seafood. But instead, I found this strange looking fist-sized lumpy rock with engravings covering it. What good luck I have...... People can''t eat rocks right?... Nevermind that, but this rock''s carvings doesn''t look like it was organically not man-made. "What a curious thing," I said aloud. Ever since I''ve been re"born" in the middle of nowhere in this forest, I''ve been seeing nothing but strange things that completely twisted my worldviews. Hmpf! I''m not gonna be surprised at anything this stupid new world throws at me anymore! After pondering for a period of time, I decided to take this lumpy rock with me and grabbed it from where a few boulders lay, carrying it by hand since I literally have nothing on me. Not that it matters though, I mean, as a dog I''m always naked, aren''t I? So it''s not really a big issue. RRRRUUMMBBBLEEE~ My disobedient stomach decided to choose this moment to yowl its heart out, demanding to be fed. I sighed pitifully and groaned "Alright, alright, I''m gonna find some food for you so please be quiet okay? Or for better lack of words, please shut up!" And suddenly, everything was quiet. You could be reading stolen content. Head to the original site for the genuine story. I felt that something was wrong. No no, not that the fact that my stomach is actually obeying me for once, but something else. There wasn''t any sound of the creatures hiding out there that I never managed to see nor catch. My skin tingled, and my instincts told me that something dangerous was coming. And it was definitely right. A few seconds later, I could hear some thundering sounds coming closer and closer to where I was. I could see two gigantic snakes a few hundred meters away speeding here with big puffs of dirt-clouds trailing behind them. They were both a dark olive green, covered in shimmering large scales that look like they could belong on a dragon. Their narrowed golden slit pupils glared at me, practically screaming bloodlust even from so far away. I gulped. I''ve never really fought anything before and I also knew that there was NO way in hell I could ever fight those two monsters, so I turned tail and ran. I sprinted away as fast as I could away from them, not even caring about the countless sharp branches that scratched all over my body. After all, being cut a bit is still better than being eaten. Suddenly, two voices in unison rang sharply in my head, making my whole brain feeling it was ripped into shreds. "YOU LOWLY CREATURE!!! HOW DARE YOU TAKE FROM THE TWO GUARDIANS OF THE SACRED IJRIVIL FOREST!!??!The pain had me writhing on the dirt instantly. I had never felt pain so intense before in my whole life when I was with Eva or here. PAIN PAIN PAIN PAIN IT HURTS HURTS HURTS IT HURTSSSSS!!! IT''S SO PAINFUL WHAT IS THISSS HURTS HURTS IT HURTS THE PAIN!!! I screamed inside, unable to muster up the strength to open my mouth to scream out loud. Something liquidy dripped onto my body, I took no notice of it as I was still thrashing around on the ground trying to escape from the pain. Big mistake. Everywhere the liquid touched just made the pain ten times worse. It burned like having acid poured on you. "A-h-AHhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, it HURTS HURTS HURTS HURTS ITHURTSITHURTSITHURTS!!!!!!!!!!" Miraculously, I found my voice and began screaming extremely loudly. I didn''t know I could scream that loudly, but I didn''t care, there was only pain. I could feel the PAIN everywhere and anywhere, I couldn''t think or move. Excitement When the DAMNED pain finally subsided, my awareness finally decided to get its traitorous butt back to me. It allowed me to get a grasp of what was happening. Actually......I would have rathernotto have seen what I had just noticed. Yep, just what I had feared. Two large as heck shadows blocking the little sunlight that actually gets in through the tall, somewhat densely packed swirly patterned trees. Moreover.....thetwo snakes are actually so tall I can''t even see them?!?!? Wellf*ck, I amSO screwed. (-_-lll) I''m sorry Eva, but it''s definitely the right situation to say this. It struck me that I was still carrying the strange rock, so I buried it underneath where I was standing. I quickly marked the surrounding area with my nail marks just in case I couldn''t find it. Only asingle voice spoke this time, to my relief. "RETURN WHAT YOU HAVE STOLEN FROM USAND WE SHALL SPARE YOUR LIFE." I still gota pounding headache but I''m still thankful that only one of them did the talking. I really don''t think I could endure any more of the extreme pain before I go insane. Snapping out of my thoughts, I realized that the two monstrous snakes might have expected an answer from me. "I d-didn''t steal anything of yours, g-guardians of the forest, nor would I dare to. " I tried to be as polite as possible, drawing on all the formal speeches and grammar Eva had taught me in my life before. My polite language seemed not to have any use *cries anxiously inside*, as the other snake now had an angry tone to its words." HUMAN-LIKE CREATURE, DO NOT LIE TO US, OR WE SHALL GRANT YOU EARLY ASCENSIONTO VAZJRAL WHERE YOUR GODS ARE!" To my surprise, this snake''s voice seemed a little more masculine than the one from before. Wait. What is this snake saying??? What is Vazjral??? Is it this place''s name for "heaven?" And there are actuallyGods here!?!??!And it called me a "human-like creature"....... Does it also not know what species I am? How am I able to understand what they''re saying in my mind anyway? Nevermind those unimportant, random musings of mine, back to the situation at hand. I got annoyed at the two snakes repeatedly framing me of being a thief, so I yelled "Stop accusing me! I didn''t take anything of yours!!" I have no idea where I got the guts to say that. Maybe it was my anger fueling those stupid words, but boy do I regret saying that the moment it left my mouth. Why? It''s because right after I spoke, both of them released a thick wave of bloodlust directed towards me. The killing intent was so strong I felt as if I would suffocate to death. I felt my sight blurring, and I blinked rapidly in hopes of clearing my vision. The killing intent suddenly dissipated when the snake whom I assume to be male, judging from the more masculine voice slowly spoke."WHAT...DID YOU JUST SAY?"I gulped nervously. It seemed like the calm before the storm. "WE WILL KILL YOU AND RECLAIM WHAT YOU TOOK FROM US!!! PREPARE YOURSELF!!!How I wish I wasn''t smart enough to be right all the time....(C/V Please don''t bash me for writing the "assume to be male" part. *hides nervously*) A whistling sound was all I heard before every muscle in my body started screamingrun run RUN YOU IDIOT HURRY UP AND FLEE DUMB*ASSSSS. My body suddenly jerked itself sideways unbeknownst to me. It took all I had not to lose it and start fleeing randomly. The next second, something as big as a heckin'' diesel oil truck came smashing down where I was just now. It was a tail. Which snake it belonged to I couldn''t be sure, but I couldn''t have cared less. I could feel the turbulent air pushing me back a bit from how powerful the strike was. Stunned, I forgot my situation for a moment, muttering. "Holysteak that was close! I nearly died......" Did I mention that I was still in the air? No? Well, you''re hearing about it now. I overjumped when my instincts were in control just now.........Tehe~ (C/V Tehe~ my ass!! You''re gonna be killed! Now''s, not the time to play cute dammit!!!) The fact that the damn trees were so tall that they blocked out my view of the two snakes put me at a disadvantage. It forced me rely on my hearing.Though, this too applies to them, cuz'' they are wayyyyy too big to see under the covers of the thick greenery. Or maybe I should say "blue-ery"..........haha.... *Sigh* Why am I like this in such a dangerous situation??? A rustling sound followed by heavy noises of something falling stopped my mind from making even more horrible jokes (thankfully) and alerted me to their attack. Coming from my left side, there was something rushing near me at an incredibly high speed. I could see two blurry fangs as long and wide as the trees it was decimating with ease. Its maw was open so wide I feel like it could fit a house or two in there.......... Thankfully, my brain-dead brain was still working somewhat, and I quickly ran to its left, grabbing onto a tree a safe distance from all the destruction. Now that there is a clear open area devoid of trees, we could both see each other. "...." What advantage?!?! Cheats my ass!! Who said isekai people have OP powers?!?! I''ll sueeeeeeeee!!!!If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. The snake''s head turned around, its menacing and sharp eyes golden slits. It quickly closed its mouth and opened it, rapidly spitting something at the tree where I was. Guessing its intent early, I quickly let go of the scapegoat tree and fell to the ground, trying to roll as far away from it as possible. I give thanks to all the battle and fantasy manga I''ve read.I turned around, peeking at the damage the snake had caused. What I saw horrified me. There was no remainder of the tree I had held onto just a few seconds ago except a puddle of a sizzling, acidic looking black goo. Even the trees around it had suffered, a few droplets bore holes through the trunks making it look like a hedgehog attacked it. "..............*sweatdrops heavily*" "Oh, sh*t i have no chance fighting them...." "But., I don''t wanna die yet so I guess I''ll at least think of a plan...better than doing nothing right, myself?" Silently hyping myself up with pep-talks, I sprinted towards a spot where I was in between the two snakes. A spot where I would be trapped with no escape. "HUMAN-LIKE CREATURE! YOU CANNOT ESCAPE ANYMORE! YOU WILL NOT HAVE A QUICK DEATH, FOOL!!" I was somewhat annoyed at the insult, but I maturely ignored it and dashed straight forwards towards one of the snakes. Of course, there was no brave battle cry, what do you think I am? Stupid? Better not to waste your breath. The two snakes smirked, although their faces looked more like creepy rap- *ahem* in my opinion. The one behind me follwed, slithering slowly with total confidence while the other one was just waiting for me to get to it. Alright, time to execute the plan fellas!!(C/V ......But you have no friends or comrades...) The moment the snake in the front opened its mouth again, I knew what was gonna happen. I leaped into the air towards it, knowing full well I can''t change my path directory in the air. The snake must have been surprised at my "idiotic" move and aimed a bit lower than where I was, wanting the poison to hit me when I was on my way down. Unfortunately for it, I spread all my limbs out wide, creating more resistance. Thus, making me slow down in my descent. By the time the snake who had spat the poison at me realized what I had made it do, the poison had already reached the snake that was following behindme. The snake instantly drops to ground screaming writhing in pain, stirring up huge amounts of dust, making the area cloudy. Albeit misty, I could still see the parts that were hit by the poison start to corrode through the muscles and into the bones in a matter of seconds. Trying not to barf, I was relieved that the poison could actually harm itself. I could tell that the snake was not dead yet, just out of action. "HOW DARE YOU USE ME TO HARM MY MATE!!!! YOU WILL PAY A THOUSANDFOLD FOR THIS!! THIS WILL BE A BLOOD DEBT, AND IT WILL ONLY BE CLEARED WHEN YOU ARE DEAD!!!The other, unharmed snake angrily yells out loud. It sounded like a mixture of weird hissing and a gravelly voice. Although it didn''t sound like any language oreven English that I had heard before, but somehow I could understand its meaning. Without her knowing, her facial muscles twitched and moved upwards. If other people could see her right now, her face would be contorted into an eerie slasher type of grin. Now that there was only one snake left to deal with, I ran the opposite way. Eva once taught me a good life lesson, she said "don''t wanna kick an angry guy while he''s mad, or else he will surely beat you up."Anything Eva says is right! So Itook her advice and tried to hightail it outta here. Despite my kind actions, the darned snake immediately noticed my stealthy escape and instantly started chasing me. I smartly ran under the covers of the trees again, trying to run in a straight line so I don''t somehow circle back to it. To my despair, there was a giant cliff with many cracks that was even taller than the snake itself, spanning who-knows-how-far. A dead end. Since I''m probably gonna die anyway, I''ll just try anything, even if it doesn''t work. I climbed into one of the deeper cracks of the cliff, then proceeding to head upwards until I nearly reached the top. My trembling hands covered in dirt had clearly been over-exerted, nearly failing me a few times, causing me to have mini-heart-attacks every minute. I stayed there sweating, trying to catch my breath, waiting for the snake to catch up. I know it definitely will. There is no "if it goes away", or "if it doesn''t notice me." The snake was gigantic, so it had a hard time finding things as small as a human, not to mention she was a child. But the snake finally caught up to where she was, "tasting" her smell. (Snakes flick their tongues in the air to "smell" their surroundings). It suddenly yelled, " COME OUT, LOWLY CREATURE!! I WILL HAVE REVENGE FOR MY MATE!!!" The snake could smell the human-like creature, but it could not pinpoint where she was. Thesnake turned its head left and right trying to find her, while head turned the other way, she jumps from where she was hiding from and lands on snake''s head. I clung tightly onto the scales of the snake, in fear that I would fall off to my death. As I had expected, the snake started yelling again."GRAAAAGGHHHHHH!!! GET OFF ME!! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TOUCH ME WITH YOUR FILTHY, THIEVING PAWS!!!!"The snake then started swinging its head around crazily. Feeling even more afraid of falling off now, I stab all of my ten nails and fingers deeper and deeper inside the snake until my nails got past its scales and into its flesh. My arms were submerged inside snake till the forearms, as to not get shaken off. The snake''s blue blood was spraying and dripping everywhere, drenching me in it. I was surprisedI could even scratch thesnake''s metallic looking toughscales. The snake roars in pain so loudly I could feel my eardrums nearly burst. I suddenly thought,eh? Why am I not scared at all anymore? In fact....I feel like...I want to taste this blood....I wanna kill this thing... this snake that dared to try and kill me....... I shook my head. What!?! Why''d I suddenly think that.!?!? There must be something wrong with me. Brought back to reality, I remember I was still fighting the snake that was still flinging its head wildly. The snake abruptly charged at the cliff, most likely in hopes of ridding and killing the lowly creature (me) on its head. I panicked, quicklypulling my arms out of the snake''s head. At my action, many gallons and litres of blood spewed outwards like a geyser or a volcano. Some of the blue blood got into my mouth and I started to laugh uncontrollably for some reason. Although I was still calm, I could fell huge amounts of adrenaline rushing through me, giving me an extra boost of energy I needed desperately. I jumped off the snake just before it hit rammed its head into the cliff, and it instantly collapsed into a heap and fainted.I landeduncomfortably on the snake''s body. But before I could take in what the hell just happened to me, big chunks of the cliff started tumbling down. I had no time to run. Heh, did I survive all of this just to die from being squashed by rocks? How pathetic, I guess death was inevitable for me today..... Hopefully, maybe I can go to another world... but that''s quite unlikely... So I guess this is it huh? I smiled mockingly and regretfully at the same time, welcoming the hail of rocks.
