《Rise of the Omega》 Chapter-1: The setup Benjamin David was your average, run of the mill loner. He still lived with his mother even though he was twenty-five year''s old. His father, Richard David, left them when he was still a toddler. His memories of school would always leave him with depression. He was a straight A student that was offered numerous scholarships and seemed to have a limitless future. Alas, he was always awkward around others and was bullied throughout his academic career. He was completely unable to face others and spent majority of his time playing video games and reading wuxia novels. The day he graduated was the day he disappeared from the public and rarely left his home. "Mom, it''s eleven-thirty." Benjamin said as he downed a glass of orange juice and ran upstairs to his room. "Are you expecting anything in the mail today, Ben?" His mother responded as she walked into the kitchen. "No, not today. " Benjamin replied as he walked to his room. Even though his father left them when he was young, his mother never gave up. She finished and received her degree. She worked as a electrical engineer for a computer company. Even though the work load was tough she never stopped supporting ben. Ben''s room was filled with posters of anime, a few bookcases covered with his favorite books and his computer or in his mothers words "his other half". He spent majority of his time playing MMO''s and helping his favorite web novel authors by working as an editor. "Ben, you have a Letter down here, it''s from some of your old classmates." His mom called up the the stairs. Ben''s room was the only one on the top floor and to save his mother the struggle of climbing up the set of stairs while mentally drained, so he took the room upstairs and she took the only room downstairs. They lived in a large urban city, inside of a small to roomed house. "I''ll be down in a minute. " Ben said as he finished booting up his computer. "I''ll leave it down stairs on the counter." His mom replied. She worked constantly and had very little free time. Ben walked into the kitchen and picked up the letter. "What do these plebeians want? " Ben said as he opened the letter. Dear, Benjamin We the class of 2019 would like to invite you to the five year anniversary of our graduation. Location: community center Time: 5:00 PM Date: April 13, 2024 Sincerely, class rep Tyler Hill "A reunion, huh, why did they invite me? I mostly avoided everyone, I didn''t even attend the graduation." Ben said as he tried to think of why he was invited.A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation. "What, are you to afraid to go? I didn''t know you where that big of a chicken." His mom said as she laughed. "What are you doing back?" Ben asked as he attempted to not scream out in anger. "I forgot my purse so I came back here to get it." She said while still laughing. "What reason would they have of inviting me of all people? I talked as little as possible and barely interacted with anyone, so who would choose to invite me?" Ben asked as he continued to think about it and became even more confused. "Don''t think about too much. You are part of the 2019 class after all. Just don''t think and go the worse thing that would happen would be you there without anyone to talk to and from what you just said that is something you don''t have to worry about." She said as she grabbed her purse and left to her car. "It is tomorrow and I don''t have anything to do, not to mention my computer will need to install a large update." Ben said as he walked back to his room. He started playing another MMO, he normally beats the main quest line as soon as possible and then goes through and completes the side quest. Normally if your unable to complete a quest then you would team up with someone else to complete that quest but Ben is such a loner that even in video games, he doesn''t talk to others. This has made a debate in the community on his age and gender considering he never speaks. He went to sleep that night after having to wipe out an entire twenty man squad that tried to kill him and steal his gear. It took him until 3:00 AM to return to an inn so that he could log out without worrying about being killed while he wasn''t on. He woke up the next day at 2:00 PM, he showered, brushed his teeth and then checked his phone for any notifications. "Ugh, should I take take the subway or should I just drive myself? " Ben said as he walked into the kitchen. "First, go change into a tux. This is a formal event so dress like it. What, don''t tell me Mr. Genius didn''t know this. " His mom said as she walked into the kitchen. "What is wrong with a simple T-shirt and jeans? More importantly why are you here?" Ben raged as he raised his hand in time to catch the object his mother tossed to him. "Don''t wreck again and go change. It''s supposed to be my day off so I''m going back to sleep, good luck. " She said as she walked back to her room. Ben walked back upstairs to his room where he struggled to get into a tux. He then ran down the stairs to the front door and ran straight to the car parked at the curb. He then proceeded to drive ten blocks to the community center, which was covered with decorations. "Why are there so many people here? Why are there no parking spots?" Ben whined as he parked at the restaurant next to the building. "Let''s get this over with." Ben sighed as he entered the building. Ben was met with different groups of people crowded together chatting. He recognized a group that he was familiar with from computer science. "Hey, how have you all been?" Ben said with the most natural smile he could make. "Didn''t expect to see you here Ben. We have been good, oops, I meant amazing, did you get the invitation?" A slim black haired man said as he avoided the elbow of the red haired woman next to him. "Invitation?" Ben asked. "You didn''t hear about Noah and Megan getting married? " A teacher that wore a button up flannel shirt a and glasses with unkempt hair, asked as he walked closer. "Mr. Hawkins, I''m shocked your still not retired. No, I have been busy and haven''t really worked on my social life. " Ben said as he faced Mr. Hawkins. "Well, your just in time for the main event of this evening. We need you to come behind stage for a moment." Mr. Hawkins said as he lead Ben to the stage and behind the curtains at the back of the room. The community center was a large one roommate building with a stage that was used for community events. "What''s going on?" Ben said as he walked towards Mr. Hawkins and neglected to watch what was going on behind him. "Just a simple reality check." Mr. Hawkins said as he turned around. Before he could react someone came behind Ben and covered his face with a cloth. The already dark area started to spin and Ben fell to the ground and passed out. Ben awoke to a stage where he was duct taped to a chair with a spot light overhead shining down on him and the worst thing was the fact that he was surrounded by the people he went to school with and the stage he was on was none other than the one in the community center. "What''s going on? What are you people doing?" Ben screamed as he struggled against the tape. "As I said before, we are all here to give a much needed reality check. For none other than you, Benjamin David." Mr. Hawkins said as he duct taped Ben''s mouth shut. "Now, here is how this will work. We will list all of the things you are doing wrong, then you will listen and then decide how you are going to change it. Who is going to go first? " Mr. Hawkins asked. "We will" Noah said as he and Megan walked onto the stage. Chapter - 2: Planning out the future. "Noah, please you have to help get free before things get out of hand. " Ben begged as Noah and Megan neared him. "There is no use in you trying to beg us. We all agreed to this before hand and we have had more than enough time to prepare." Megan said as they moved to stand beside Ben to where he could see them and everyone else could see him. "Ben, we were friends in high school from freshman year to the day we graduated, well, at least that is what I thought. You never once called, messaged or even replied to anyone''s messages in the past five years. You didn''t even attend our wedding. Don''t even give us the people change and drift away crap because from what I have heard, you have done nothing but waste away your life. So as someone who was once your friend, please listen to us." Noah said as he stepped back to allow Megan to speak next. "Ben, we didn''t speak much but from the little we did interact I have found out what kind of person you are. You always avoid other people for what reason why I could never find out. Maybe a superiority complex? I don''t really know but maybe you seen everyone else as people who didn''t deserve to even speak with us. Maybe youviem the rest of us as ants beneath your feet. I really don''t know and I don''t have to but you need to wake up and change yourself before it is too late." Megan said as she and Noah stepped back to allow the others to step onto the stage and state their opinions. "Alright, I will go next." Mr. Hawkins said as he walked to the place that Noah and Megan where just standing. "First, I would like to give you recognition for your success. Yes, your grades were the best that we have had in our school in years. You had a perfect score on the ACT exam, something that even majority of adults can''t do. You would be able to attend any college of your choice with a full scholarship if you chose to. For whatever reason you have for wasting your life, I don''t know but is it really worth being a disappointment to your parents. You need to face reality before its too late. That is all I would like to say, who is next?" Mr. Hawkins said as he walked to stand next to Noah and Megan. "I would like to go next." A young long blonde haired, woman that was wearing glasses while dressed in a very beautiful red dress. "Madison, please get me out of here before they try anything that they will regret. " Ben said as he continued to struggle against the tape binding him. "It''s no use Benny, as Noah said before, we have all planned this out ahead of time. You always avoided everyone like we were a plague. You never attended any of the school events or parties. I went to prom alone because I was planning on finding you there. I have always admired the way you were dedicated to your studies, and the cold indifference you faceed everyone with would always leave me wanting to get closer to you. I wanted to talk to you, to get advice from you, or at least sit near you but you always distanced yourself from everyone. Do you want to grow old alone?" Madison said as she walked to stand with the others. "I''ll go next." A middle aged man that was starting to go bald said as he stepped onto the stage. "Ben, you were once the pride of our school. We all expected great things of you but instead of a great man we were met with a disappointment. You future was infinite but alas you turned it finite. You could have been anything you wanted and it would have brought us pride but instead you decide to become a waste of space. How do you think you parents feel about your decision? Do you think their proud? How do you think your ancestors feel about the waste you have become?" The man said as he walked to stand beside Madison. Love this story? "Even if I did it doesn''t matter. We are here to give him a reality check and that is exactly what I am doing." Principal Harrison said as he turned to face Ben as well. "Well said Mr. Harrison, I do believe it is my turn though. " A middle aged man that was wearing a suit and looked very similar to Ben. "What are you doing here! I understand them doing this considering that they were actually apart of my life but the only part you have played is running away. The only impact you have had in my life was an example of what not to be! If their was an Olympic for best low life piece of trash then you would bring the gold! " Ben roared as he faced the one person that he hated the most in life. "Mr.David, he does have a point, but Ben, I have to disagree with your analogy. Mr.David may be a bad person but considering how you have done nothing but waste yours then I believe you don''t have the right to judge others." Mr. Hawkins said as he faced him. "Ben, James is right. You have done nothing but waste these past five years. I have tried to do my best to help you but the situation is out of my hands now. Maybe if I had done something sooner then this may not have happened." A feminine voice that sounded familiar said as it neared. "What are you doing here? " Ben stuttered as he turned to face her. "Well, sweety the thing is I have been in on this from the beginning." His mother said as she walked to stand in front of him. "Why? What are you all going to do next?" Ben said as he tried to calm down and distance himself from the feeling of betrayal that was burning a hole in his stomach. "Well, here is this and I will be taking these." She said as she put a backpack in front of him and took the keys from out of his pocket. "What is this? " Ben asked as he was confused on what was going on. "Your clothes, you are now on your own and I have spent the last little bit changing the locks on the door. You are now on your own, do not return home or talk to any of us until you make something of yourself." She said as she turned and walked out of the building and was soon followed by everyone except for Ben and Mr Hawkins. "I have nothing else to tell you except for good luck and do your best. " Mr. Hawkins said as he cut him free and then left Ben alone with nothing except his thoughts. "Why did it come to this? I know that I have always wasted my time but at least it was something that I enjoyed. What am I supposed to do? Where am I supposed to go?" Ben asked no one in particular as he was alone with nothing except his clothes and his thoughts. Ben stood up and slowly walked outside. He then proceed to walk to the park as he tried to clear his thoughts. As he walked it began to rain leaving Ben cold and soaked to the bone as the rain washed over him and his salty tears left trails that blended with the rain on his face. He proceed to the park were he found a bench shaded by the trees overhead, he then cried himself to sleep as the rain didn''t continued to be merciless. Ben awoke to find himself in a soaked tux on a bench. He stood up, put on his backpack and proceed to walk around in the sunlight until his tux dried. "At least it is still early and not that many people are around. First thing that I need to do is get some sort of income and then plan from there. A person can''t do math without the proper formula. One of my priorities after that should be finding somewhere to stay, I don''t want to sleep on another bench. I will also need to find somewhere to get something to eat soon. There should be a soup kitchen opened soon." Ben told himself as he recalled the groups of homeless people that would line up at those kitchens everyday for food when they had nowhere else to go. Ben then proceed to follow a homeless person who appeared to be wearing rags to a line where he then ate and returned back to the park where he proceeded to plan out what to do next. Chapter - 3: Why didnt I lift!!! Ben proceeded to walk on the streets as he thought of where to apply. "Where should I go? I can''t return so I can only go forwards!" Ben told himself as he walked to a cobblers shop. "Excuse me sir, are you hiring?" Ben asked as he walked up to the old man behind the counter that was wearing a apron. "Sorry but no. The only reason this shop is still open is because of a hobby of mine. Modern day manufacturing has reduced the need of cobblers, I don''t want to have to put up with the hassle of having to manage employees. " The old man said in a raspy voice. "Do you know anywhere that is hiring? " Ben asked as he tried not to stare at the old man''s wrinkly face. "There are no that I can think of but you will have to ask around yourself." The old man replied as he looked at Ben. "Thank you. " Ben said as he turned around and left. Ben continued to walk and ask around for any job positions and was met with the same answer each time. "Well, it wouldn''t hurt to try the docks." Ben said as he headed east. The city that Ben lives in is mostly strives off of its exports, such as fish, raw materials and the produce of the companies inside of the city. Ben spent the entire day asking the captains of the ships currently docked at the city, but alas he was met with the same decline. "What am I supposed to do now? Where am I supposed to go now? " Ben asked no one in particular as he went to leave the docks. "You need to leave kid, the port isn''t a place where kids like you can play. " A middle aged man dressed in a dark thin jacket over a heavy metal T-shirt and jeans. The most intimidating thing about him was the scar that ran from his right temple to his lower jaw. "I have no where to go and nothing to do. If you have any advice please give it. " Ben said as he looked at the man. "Haha, I like you kid. Why don''t you come work for me? " The man said as he laughed. "Yes, thank you sir! Oh, I already agreed without even knowing your name." Ben said as he laughed with joy. "My name is Skylar Smith. Just call me Mr. Smith, the only thing that you will be doing is run errands for me. " Mr. Smith said as he looked serious. "Yes, Mr. Smith. " Ben said as he tried not to get fired within five minutes of being hired. "I like you kid. Meet me back here tomorrow morning at eleven. " Mr. Smith said as he laughed and walked away. Ben was excited as he ran back to the park. He awoke the next morning as early as possible and ran back to the dock. "Wow, your here early kid. I had some things to do so this could be considered your first moment on the job." Mr. Smith said as he walked closer to Ben. "My mom always told me if you can''t be on time then be early. " Ben said as he laughed. "She sounds like a smart woman, you should definitely follow her advice. Follow me. " Mr. Smith said as he led Ben into the alley near the docks where tour boats unload their passengers. "What are we doing here? " Ben asked as he constantly looked around. "Shhh, try not to draw attention to us. " Mr. Smith said as he watched a man dressed up as a tour guide walk behind a young woman towards the alley that they were in.The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. "Alright hand over anything of value and we will let you go. " The man said as they stopped in front of the dumpster Ben and Mr. Smith were hiding behind. "Nice work Bill. " Mr. Smith complimented as he walked to stand next to the man dressed as a tour guide. "There is no way you are getting away with this. " The woman said as she tried to walk past Bill. "Did you already forget about this sweety. " Bill said as he pulled out a gun he was concealing in one of his pockets. "What are you guys doing! " Ben asked them as he finally realized what was going on. "Work, if you want to get paid then go walk to the entrance of the alley and be a lookout for us. " Mr. Smith said as he pulled out a hand gun similar to the one Bill was concealing. "There is no way I can go through with this. " Ben said as he backed away. "What, did the thug grow a conscious? " The woman said with sarcasm as she turned and glared at the only man nearby that wasn''t holding a gun. "Shut up. " Mr. Smith said to the woman as he turned to face Ben. "Go stand by her and don''t think about doing anything because there is no way for you to out run a bullet. " Mr. Smith told Ben as he pointed his gun at him. Ben walked to stand by the woman who was still glaring at him. "Hand over anything of value or there will be consequences. " Bill said as he pointed his gun at the two of them. The woman handed over her purse and then Bill turned to face Ben. "What, are you going to be stubborn kid. " Bill said as he raised his gun. "Easy there Bill. It''s not that he is being stubborn it''s just that he doesn''t have anything on him. " Mr. Smith said as he tried to avoid conflict. Bill lowered his gun as he noticed the cheap shirt and jeans that Ben was wearing. "Alright miss, was that so hard. " Bill asked as he went to turn around but stopped "Hand over the necklace. " Bill said as he walked back over to her. "I won''t, this is the only thing left that I have of my mother. " The woman said as she began to cry. "Handed it over or I will get it myself. " Bill said as he walked over. "No! " The woman screamed as she kicked Bill away and ran through a fence separating the alley from a nearby skyscraper construction cite that was vacant at the moment. "Get back here. " Bill screamed as he and the rest of them chase after her. Ben ran ahead of them and followed the woman up the ramps near the steel pillars that we''re towering up into the sky. "Miss stop! " Ben said as watched the woman run to the edge of the scaffloding. "If you come any closer I will jump. " The woman said as she watched Mr. Smith and Bill run up behind Ben. Is there really any reason for you to do something so stupid ?" Mr. Smith asked. "Shut up! What are thugs like you to know about things such as being filial to your family! " The woman screamed as she started to cry.. "My name is Benjamin David, what is yours? " Ben asked as he walked slowly closer to the woman. "My name is Sarah, why do you want to know? " The woman said as she raised her head to look at Ben. "Well Sarah, right now I am trying to help you okay." Ben said as he stopped walking. "Why, would you help me? Earlier he said you were working for him! " Sarah screamed as she walked closer to the edge. "Sarah calm down please! Would your parents want you to do this? " Ben said as he walked closer to her. "No, but what else am I supposed to do. " Sarah said as she stopped moving. "Live, live your life to the fullest that you can so that you will not have any regrets when you do die. " Ben said as he walked closer to close in the 1.5 meter distance between them. "Okay, I will" Sarah said as she quit crying and went to move forward, but she slipped and fell backwards. "No!! " Ben screamed as he grabbed one of her flailing arms and pulled towards him. Sarah quit calling back but Ben continued going forwards and went over the edge and fell over the edge into the sixty foot plunge. What is happening? Why is there so much wind? Wait, Sarah went to fall and then... *SIGH* so this is how I die. Twenty-five, single and full of regrets. I should have been less of a loner, more active and at least went to the gym once a month. Why didn''t I lift? *sigh* I hope Sarah doesn''t make the same mistakes I did. Ben thought as he first felt the wind and until it ended. Sarah and the rest were led off of the top of the construction by police officers and Ben was escorted in a body bag. Sarah sobbed as she told the officers everything in the police station as Mr. Smith and Bill we''re put behind bars. Ben''s mom got the news of his death from his obituary in the news paper. She attended Ben''s funeral with Sarah and the people who attended the reunion. Sarah followed Ben''s advice to the fullest and became a doctor. His mother died said months after the funeral after spending those six months in depression. Chapter - 4: Was I just born?!?! Ben awoke to find himself in a chair sitting across from a group of what appeared to be the shadow of people who where bickering. "Don''t you think we are being rash? Sending him through a black hole? None of the others came back after they went through! " One feminine voice said above the others. "Rash? His very being threatens the balance of the universe as we know it. If we don''t react fast enough then we put the lives of everyone else at risk! " A muscular voice roared above the others. "Excuse me, What is going on? " Ben asked as he stared at the group standing before him. "We are a council that judges the souls of the departed and decides where to send them in this universe. We are know as the council of unity. We are know judging your soul and deciding on either to destroy your soul or to expelled you from out universe. Currently, you are in a body identical to the one you had before you died." The same feminine voice that spoke earlier said as it appeared to face Ben. "How will I be judged? " Ben asked as he became terrified. "A soul is judged based on not how popular you are or how wealthy you were but on the effect you have had on the souls of others. You were a shut in, you avoided others, to be honest you were a complete and utter disappointment. There is no value to your soul and I don''t see the point in allowing your soul to remain in our universe. Normally, if you were evil or killed people for your own gain then we would send your soul into purgatory before reincarnating you or if you were a decent person then you would be able to join other souls inside of the holy city or choose to reincarnate. The problem with your soul is that the very universe we exist in is rejecting it and if we don''t do something then there is a risk of the universe itself eradicating you and if that happens then every other soul in existence has the chance of also being destroyed. " The same muscular voice that spoke earlier informed Ben. "What are my choices?" Ben asked as he nearly fell out of the stone chair he was sitting in. "The first is we wipe your very being out of existence or we send you through a black hole and out of this universe. If you choose the first then you cease to exist. If you choose the second then the outcome is unknown to even us. " A old wise voice spoke up that standing towards the Back of the group. " I choose the second option." Ben said as he still didn''t realize how he got into this situation or if it was even real. "Even those of us who dared to adventure through them have never returned. Before we can send you through we have to form a barrier around you to protect you from the radiation and gravitational pull. It will only be able to protect you until you pass the event horizon." The same aged voice said as the group of people spread around Ben and he was able to see that there was less than nine people in the council. Ben was slowly surrounded by a opaque blue sphere. "What is going on? " Ben asked as he nearly landed on his back as he jumped backwards.Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon. "Now, is time for your journey to begin, or end I guess, considering that your soul could be directly destroyed instead. Good luck kid. " The old man said as Ben started to float up and was slowly surrounded by darkness and slowly began to see stars off into the distance around him. Ben was amased at the sights that he saw. He was constantly turning his head to look at the stars that were flying by around him. As he was looking around him he finally saw his destination, a black hole. It was a sphere of complete nothing, it seemed to be able absorb and wrap everything around it. Ben became terrified as he realized that he may die in a few moments. He fell on his but as he began to tremble. He started to cry as he realized he would never be able to see his mother again, make something of himself or to start a family of his own. He cried until he was soaked in his own salty tears. The black hole seemed to grow bigger until it was all that he could see. He slowly raised to his feet and turned around and beated against the barrier with all that he could but alas, it was no use. He hit the barrier until his knuckles were bloody and then he began to kick it until he legs became heavy and he fell and watched the black hole grow larger. "Not only was I a disappointment when I was alive, I also am a threat to everyone else now that I am dead. *SIGH* Maybe this is what a waste of space and utter disappointment like me deserves. " Ben said to himself as he entered the black hole and the barrier was shredded along with Ben inside it. The black hole ripped Ben apart molecule by molecule, atom by atom. He felt the worst pain he had ever felt in his entire life. He hoped he would so that it would be over but it did not. The energy that was once apart of the barrier that protected him continued to protect his soul even though it was unable to protect his physical body. Ben suffered through the agonizing pain until it suddenly stopped and he felt as if he was submerged beneath a pool of some strange liquid. "What is this? Am I in some kind of world covered in liquid? Wait, what is that burning sensation that I feel?!?! Why does it feel like my chest is going to burst and what is with this headache?!?! " Ben thought as he felt an agonizing pain even worse than what he felt when he went through the black hole. Ben felt like screaming but was unable to. He saw a small pin tip sized light which slowly grew as Ben felt himself being pushed into a tunnel that seemed to contract around him as he slowly began to grow larger as Ben went through it. He felt a weight on his stomach as he kept his eyes close and screamed out in pain as he felt something beat his but. "Why is this happening? Why does I feel worse than the time I cheated on that test? And why won''t this stupid head ache go away?!?!" Ben screamed as he he slowly opened his eyes. "Wait, what is this? Just what is going on? Where am I? " Ben said as he noticed he was being held up by a giant man with medium length brown hair and a beard that trailed down past his next. "WHAT IS HAPPENING!!!! " Ben screamed out and after doing so he noticed how weird his voice sounded. The giant turned Ben around until he was facing one of the most beautiful women he had ever seen. She was as big as the giant that was holding Ben. She had long, black hair that appeared to be made out of silk. The giant man handed Ben over to the woman who began to start cradling Ben in her arms. Ben began to notice that she was wearing a thin silk like robe similar to what the man was wearing. "This is .... No it can''t be! " Ben screamed as what the woman did next confirmed his guesses as she pulled out a bottle of something that tasted like milk but only sweeter. "Then this means that I am still alive. I am in another world, and I am an infant. So, I was just... No, I don''t want to think it but. . . I was just born!!!! " Ben thought as he became weirded out with the fact that he experienced the birth of himself. "Why do I still have my memories though and is that a health bar!!! " Ben thought as he noticed a bar in the top left of his vision that said "Health - 10/10". Chapter - 5: James Omh Ben was confused. "Where am I? Is this a dream? " Ben thought as he drunk the "milk" that he was given. Ben continued to think of where he could possibly be and came up with nothing. Ben gave up thinking and watched the "giants" talk and smile at each other. Suddenly, they both smiled and looked at Ben. The sudden change shocked Ben as his vision was suddenly obscured by a familiar screen: Skills: new language skill available. Health: 10/10 Stamina: 1/1 Exp: 0/5 Name: James Omh Race: Celestial Traits: Marked by Lupis Level: 0 "What is this? " Ben thought to himself as he looked at the notification in the top left of his vision. Skills unlocked: Innate Celestial Ability - Son of the Heavens. Skills available: Physical-Ears of Lupis: The ability to understand any spoken, sentient language. "Well, that would be very useful" Ben thought as he wished to unlock this new ability. Notification: New Physical skill unlocked - Ears of Lupis due to Celestial innate ability. Name: James Omh Race: Celestial Traits: Marked by Lupis Level: 0 "Wait, I can actually understand them now?!?! " Ben thought as he understood what the two "giants" we''re saying. "Matilda, sweety, are you ready to show James to his siblings." The male giant in the charcoal grey robe said to the female giant. "Do you think it will be okay, Benjamin. " Matilda said as she looked into Benjamin''s bright blue eyes. "Come in and meet your new brother, kids. " Benjamin said as he looked towards the maroon planked door. A group of kids that varied in ages from eight to thirteen entered and crowded around Matilda. "Mom, why is he so small? " A young boy who appeared to be around ten years old with black hair and appeared very similar to Matilda. "Josh, he is bigger than you were when you were born. " A teenage girl that had long brown hair and was very similar to Benjamin. "How do you remember that? You were younger than Josh is, Amber. " A boy slightly younger than Amber said as he started to chuckle. "Mom, What is happening to his ears!?!?" The same boy that was speaking to amber asked Matilda as he jumped closer to James. "What do you mean . . . Benjamin!!! Something happened to James his ears are pointed and look like a dogs." Matilda said as she was freaking out. "When did this happen!? Is there any way to fix this? I''m going to get Doctor Gupta, he will know what is wrong." Benjamin said as he ran out of the room. Matilda said as she handed james to Doctor Gupta.. "Huh, What is with the Qi levels from this infant?!?!" Doctor Gupta said as soon as he touched James. "Wait did he just say Qi? No, I must be hearing things." James thought as he listened to the conversations going on around him. "Here, I am going to use my Qi to see if there is anything abnormal." Doctor Gupta said as he had Benjamin hold james while he placed his palms on James upper back near the nape of his next. "Huh, what is this feeling? Why do I feel so wrong? No, stop it !! " James thought as he struggled as much as he could but then again a infant cannot put up that much of a struggle. "Huh, Why are his meridans already open?!?! If this child doesn''t become a talented Cultivator then I will write my name backwards and upside down from now until the day that I die!!!" Doctor Gupta said with excitement as he Returned James who just passed out to matilda. "What is wrong with him Doctor Gupta?" Benjamin asked as he looked at Doctor Gupta. "Wrong? How is there anything wrong with him? His meridans, which a normal cultivator their entire life just to open half of their meridans, are already open. Not only that his meridans are three times larger than a grown adults. He will be able to advance very quickly by being able to gather more Qi than other Cultivators his age. Even if he cultivates with half the effort of his peers then he will still advance atleast twice as fast as them." Doctor Gupta said as he could barely contain the excitement he was feeling of seeing someone who''s future was literally endless. "But what is wrong with his ears?" Matilda who had said nothing the entire time finally spoke up. "Pherhaps some sort of mutation? The amount of Qi he absorbs naturally maay be more than he can currently handle and caused some sort of reaction? Don''t look at me like that Matilda Lily Adrian Omh, a doctor is not supposed to be able to know everything. Not to mention this has never happened before. *Sigh* I promise you that I will watch over him as much as possible and help him with everything that I can so quit looking at me like that." Doctor Gupta said helplessly. "Doctor Gupta, neither me or my wife are cultivators so how did this happen?" Benjamin said as he and Doctor Gupta turned to face Matilda. "DON''T YOU DARE TRY TO SAU THAT TO ME BENJAMIN!! I have been married to you for over a decade and yet you are trying to accuse me of being unfaithful. The next time you try watch what happens very closely! " Matilda said as she nearly jumped out of the Queen sized bed she was laying on. "Matilda could I see James once more for a few minutes?" Doctor Gupta said as he looked at Matilda very seriously. "Yes, sir." Matilda said as she seen the shift in Doctor Guptas mood. "Good, I will need a drop of yours and Benjamins blood." Doctor Gupta said as he took out two vials and handed them to Benjamin and Matilda while he took out a third vial and took a drop of James blood by using a very strange looking Syringe. "Most doctors who cultivate are able to use their energy arts to remove blood samples without causing any pain but alas mine end up causing more pain than this syringe." Doctor Gupta said as he mixed the three vials of blood together and then held it in one hand while he put the palm of his other hand over it. The hand he held over it glowed with a pale white glow. "Well, Benjamin it seems she wasn''t lying. James is indeed yours and Matilda''s son. Your genetics must have been the cau....." Doctor Gupta said while he was interupted at the end by a slap from Matilda. "Doctor Gupta, how dare you not believe my beautiful, intelligent and honest wife! Why did you . . ." Benjamin said as he was interupted by a death stare from Matilda. "It was worth a shot Benjamin." Doctor Gupta said with a laugh. "I know, looks like its the dog house for me." Benjamin said with a laugh. "No, Benjamin your not sleeping in the dog house." Matilda said sweetly, catching everyone off gaurd including the kids who were listening in quite while standing out of Doctor Gupta''s way. "Really?" Benjamin asked believing what Matilda said was to good to be true. "YES!! IF YOU SLEPT IN THE DOG HOUSE THEN YOU MAY END UP TAINTING IT AND RUFFUS! I WANT YOU TO SLEEP IN A INN SOMEWHERE FOR A WEEK." Matilda screamed as she woke up James. "Huh, so it wasn''t a dream?" James said as he saw the Bars at the top left of his screen. He focused on the bars and the familiar menu appeared once again. Health: 10/10 Stamina: 1/1 Exp: 0/5 Name: James Omh Race: Celestial Traits: Marked by Lupis Level: 0 "I wonder if everyone else levels up in this world or is it just me? Why is everyone staring at me again!!" James thought as the menu disappeared and his vision was filled with the overcrowded room. "Mom, is he a cultivator?" The older of the two boys asked as he looked at Matilda. "Cameron, quit being silly. He is just a infant that hasn''t learned a cultivation technique." Benjamin said as he laughed. "Haha, when he does start cultivating he will be able to pass up all of us old generation within a few years." Doctor Gupta said as he laughed. "Who said he is going to be a cultivator!" Matilda screamed as she gave Doctor Gupta a stern look. "It''s his choice hon. If he chooses to be a cultivator then its his choice." Benjamin said as he looked at James. "Huh, am I hearing things or are they talking about cultivation? Please tell me they are talking about energy cultivation and not farming." James thought as he continued to listen to their conversation. "I know sweety but cultivation is a path that is washed in blood, paved with bone and leads to a sea of tears." Matilda said as she looked at James. "They must be talking about energy cultivation. If they are talking about argiculture then I''m jumping through another black hole." James thought as he fell back asleep.
