《God of the Isekai》 Chapter 1: Apha and Omega May 2154. A man stood alone in a room full of Technology which would be considered unimaginable by 20th century standards, the man looked like he was in his 90''s limping as he walked. Limping painfully towards a nearby window. He peered out the window, at a barren wasteland, seas were non-existent plant life was on the verge of extinction. "This is my last chance." The man spoke to himself "I''ve created a computer world where I can live for the rest of my life where I can leave this wretched place and start a new". He had been working on this "Alternate reality" as he called it. For 70 something odd years, And finally, on sitting on death''s door he was able to create it. The world he created was a world full of non-existent creatures, a world where he could call home, far away from the hardships of reality. The world was composed of three parts. One the Ordinance System, this system was as it sounded what governed the laws of the world from how physics worked, how it would generate terrain, all based on a template that could be changed by anyone with administrative privileges. Two the Discernment System, this system judged how an entity would react to it''s surrounding the driving for evolution. It would judge what taste you would be tasting what was hot and what was cold what hurt and didn''t hurt. Three the Predominance System, this was the best of all three albeit not the most technologically groundbreaking it error checked the other to systems, checking for bugs and errors so that the world would function properly. Off course an administrator could break those rules and do as they please. The most groundbreaking feet the man-made was the ability to create self-aware AI. The AI would have the same level of intelligence as humans from his world give or take a few percentages to create some randomness. Sitting down in his chair getting ready to transfer his consciousness to the virtual world he couldn''t help but lament that he didn''t have enough time to fix the current one. His plan was complete. He created solar panels that would generate energy for the computers of the virtual world for eternity and drones that would fix and manage the outside world. As his consciousness transferred to the machine he hoped his plan would work. This was the first time this kind of this was executed. So many unknowns but there was no time to look back. This story has been unlawfully obtained without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon. "Hello, Mr. Tomini" a wall of text appeared before him. "That''s right, my name is Tomini that''s the first time I''ve heard of it since..." his memory flashed back to his youth "Well..nevermind," Tomini thought to himself. "Would you like to start your character creation?" the computer output the message [Yes]/[No] Two buttons side by side. Tomini was ready to start his new life he excitedly pressed the "Yes" button. He was prompted by another screen among some of the things on screen were Classes, Skill Points, Races and Stats. "If I''m going to start fresh in a new world. I''ll choose human for my Race" Tomini pondered. Humans weren''t particular superb at everything there stats were average all around but had no main weaknesses. Some of the other Races were Dwarves, Elves and Demi-Humans. Each race would have its own Unique skills once reached a certain level they would be able to unlock a higher tiered race. For humans, it was the Arch-Human. "Okay, and my class will be... Magic Swordsman". Magic Swordsman was a combination of Sword skills and Magic spells a Magic Swordsman could use his sword and shoot spells out of the tip of their blade or enchant their sword during battle these two were among some of the things the Magic Swordsman could do. Of course being the genius Programmer that Tomini was he had designed the Three Systems to generate Spells, Skills Plants and Wildlife. That also meant people from the virtual world could also create these things but at a slower rate due to the fact that they did not know about the templates. For example, if they wanted to create a new spell they would have to try to find keywords in order to create them for example. The light element would refer to spells using light attributes. Among the spells and skills a person could get they numbered approximately 2,554 excluding Unique skills so that the computers would save space in memory. "There won''t be anything once I finish my character huh? I guess I''ll observe the way it''s created. " Tomini said speaking to himself. The way Tomini programmed the world was by starting from scratch and allowing the Systems to generate a world for him. He feared if he did it by hand he would take more than ten lifetimes to create a world. He opened a rift in space using his admin commands and sealed himself that way he wouldn''t experience time. Tomini groaned "This is gonna take a while a couple of hundred years more for empires to form." Waiting for what seemed like eons so that planets would form and spread life was boring and Fascinating to Tomini. Seas were created and along with the seas, single-cell organism was created. A million years went by and the first single-celled organisms fused together and created multiple celled organisms. Later the first fish was created, another million years later life was abundant in the sea. After plants sprouted on land giving a chance for sea life to come to land. After waiting for eons the first members of the races were spawned they built villages and created farms, kingdoms were born and kingdoms fell, Till finally the world was stabilized. "I guess it''s time," Tomini stated with a grin. Chapter 2: First Encounter Chapter 2: First Encounter As Tomini flew down from his confined space he noticed a village not to far from his current location. He debated on what to do, should he go check out the village and see how the three systems had created this reality? Tomini''s stomach grumbled, in reality, it had been an excuse he was feeling hungry. "I wonder what level these people are... I should probably not fly into the village" He thought to himself. It''s not that he was afraid but more so that he didn''t want to draw too much attention to himself. All Tomini wanted to do was live a life in peace. He needed to find out if the systems had problems with the AI. He began walking into town when a little girl came running toward him. "Help! Help! Please help me! My parents they''ve..." the little girl clung onto Tomini sobbing she could get any more word out of her mouth. 3 men came chasing after the little girl. "You there hand her over now or we won''t let you easily" one of the men demanded. "Tell me, girl what is the matter?" Tomini questioned the girl. In tears, the girl sobbing and pleading replied "They''ve killed my parents and... " the sobbing cut into the girl''s words "and they''re going to kill my sister." "We''re part of the imperial legion unless you want to offend his majesty you will obey!" one of the men exclaimed. . Tomini looked deep in thought, "No matter in what world it is, It''s always the same, I guess I''ll just delete this world and start again." Tomini opened up his admin console and as he was about to enter the command to reset the state of the world he noticed something, "If I delete this world will it not happen again? How can I fix this I doubt its a problem with the systems, no its a part of nature, but I cannot allow this to happen again" he continued to type into the admin console but he didn''t delete the world he entered the command "Max level". "If you will not hand her over then.." the imperial soldier''s words were halted off by Tomini "Light element Scan target."Love this novel? Read it on Royal Road to ensure the author gets credit. "Scan target" was a light attribute spell it allowed to the caster to view a targets stats. "My my, you? With your stats? Do you think you can take her so easily? Dark element instant death." With those words, the soldier fell lifeless. "Pretty scary isn''t it dying in an instant knowing you are inferior in every way. Do you still want to continue this? " In an overbearing demeanor, Tomini asked the soldiers. "The empire will not let you go!" One of the two soldiers spoke while running away from the village. "Don''t misunderstand when I asked if you wished if you wish to continue with your actions I didn''t mean I''d let you go."Tomini raised his pointer finger towards the soldier that ran away" Thunder element chain lightning" lightning came out of the tip of Tomini''s finger, making contact in less than a second. But after striking the first soldier the lighting soon went over to the remaining soldier killing both of them in an instant. In the world that Tomini had created permadeath was in effect without a high-level resurrection spell there would be no way to revive them. Tomini thought to himself that maybe he went overboard, after all, he was level 255 and those soldiers were only level 15. "Please tell me where your sister is," Tomini asked the little girl. "She''s in the center of the village" replied the little girl. With that Tomini took the little girl and flew there. Once he arrived he noticed that the Imperial soldiers were trying to take advantage of women. That must be her sister they both have similar facial features. Both the women and the little girl had dark blond hair and blue eyes and the same nose. Not wasting a moment''s time Tomini spoke "Thunder element chain lightning" the same as before the chain lightning hit one soldier and continued from one to the next. Normally chain lightning wouldn''t be this strong but Tomini was level 255. "Who are you? Why did you save me" The women asked? After the little girl came out from behind Tomini. "Oh my god, Emily it''s you" as the women spoke she was overjoyed. "He saved both of us " Emily smiled. "What''s your name?" asked the women. "Tomini, whats yours?" Replied Tomini. "My name is Ardale! Thank you for saving us if there''s anything I can do just tell me!" "I''ll keep that in mind" replied Tomini while floating up into the air he began to speak:"Wind attribute voice, For any imperial soldier who is still left in the village here my world, get out of my land or I will annihilate you have ten seconds" Tomini began to count down but no soldiers had exited. "If that is how you will act I will treat you as such, light element hundred arrows" a hundred arrows appeared in the air and flew to their targets the imperial soldiers within 10 seconds all the soldiers were dead Tomini floated downwards and landed beside Emily "Ok all the soldiers are dead please gather the people to come to the village center" Tomini asked both Emily and Ardale. Chapter 3: Domain Chapter 3: Domain Once all the villagers had gathered in the center of the village Tomini began to speak "My name is Tomini, where is the village elder, come forth." An elderly man came forward and spoke "I am the village elder what can I do for our savior?"'' the villagers were still wary of Tomini, it''s not every day that someone who can take down tens of soldiers. "Why does the Empire send its soldiers to attack your village?" Tomini questioned the village elder. "They want to get rid of us because we are just another mouth to feed we don''t produce any valuable materials but the Empire sends soldiers to keep us safe and those soldiers cost the Empire gold, In short, we are not profitable enough for the Empire" the elder finished. Tomini knew one thing if he wanted to create a new peaceful world he would dominate the world. But he couldn''t be in all places at once so he needed capable and loyal men, those men would be the foundation that maintains order in his absence. If Tomini wanted to he could use admin commands to do it in seconds, but then what? What would keep his empire from doing the same thing that the current Empire is doing to the villagers? He needed to show his future countrymen what he could not show the others in the old world. "From today onward the distance extending 25 miles north, east, south and west is my domain" declared Tomini. The Villagers were terrified they thought there was a tyrant in front of them and Tomini knew this, he decided to ease their worries by casting a mass healing spell on the area of the village, to make sure that he was a good person. "Light attribute Grand Areal Heal" Tonie cast the healing spell. "From today onward you are my people please send word to the empire that I will not take kindly to trespassers. Also please send the three strongest men to me. I will leave to the outskirts of town to build my manor and Miss Ardale please come to my manor in one hour" Tomini stated he began to float and fly away out of sight. If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. After reaching the outskirts of the village he began contemplating what style of the building he wished to summon "I know I''ll summon a pagoda. Space Attribute Summon Building Maximise " A & tiered pagoda was created surrounded by 20-foot walls. "Hello, Mr. Tomini whaa..." A female voice was heard. Tomini turned around and the voice matched a person it was Ardale "Is this your house??" "Indeed step inside please" Tomini replied. Walking inside Ardale couldn''t help but feel mesmerized by the imposing building. Everything inside was so clean and pristine. "I''m sure you''ve noticed how clean this place is id like to keep it that way you will be the maid for the house your tasks". Tomini was in a good mood. "A maid? I can''t be your maid I''m too hideous " it''s not that she didn''t want to work living her whole life as a village girl she worked hard every day, whether it''s in the field or construction. She felt that if she was in Tomini''s house she would stick out like a sore thumb she was covered with dirt from working on the farmland. "Nonsense did you forget you said you''d do anything," Tomini said in a stern voice. "No, but are you sure?" Ardale replied to which Tomnini nodded his head "Yes on the fifth floor there is a bath go up and bath yourself I will bath after you." Ardale decided not to argue with Tomini any longer and walked to the 5th floor. Opening the door to the floor she saw steam everywhere she saw the water was hot and was dumbfounded. She had never seen a bath with hot water taking off her clothes she moved into the bath. With the bathwater it felt to her as if all her stress was swept away "Mr. Tomini is a good person" She thought to herself. Walking towards the bath Tomnini knocked on the door and spoke "When you are done three rooms from here is your room its marked "room 4" with your maid uniform in it. Take as long as you need in there" Tomini spoke. "Hey, mister Tomini the healing spell was a 5th tier spell, right? I''m surprised you are so strong I''ve never heard of someone casting that level of the spell." Ardale asked "Can you tell me more about this spell tiers?" Inquired Tomini " There were nine tiers that we villagers knew about. The first three are inferior spells capable of using the elements to attack and defend or for example to cook a meal with the "Fire Attribute". The lower tiers are what most people would be able to achieve." answered Ardale. "They created a ranking system for spells? Having permanent death had a big influence without being able to respawn it meant people would have to kill higher level creatures to raise their level but also it increased the risk of dying." thought Tomini to himself. Chapter 4: The First of Many Chapter 4: An hour had passed. Ardale had changed into her made uniform and was diligently trying to work but unfortunately, she didn''t know what she was doing half of the time and constantly asked Tomini questions. Suddenly there was a knocking sound coming from the main entrance. "Ardale could you get that for me?" Tomini directed Ardale, "Yes Mr. Tomini" Ardale smiled, she began walking to the door. Once she had opened it she saw three faces "Mr. Tomini there are three men here to see you" Arale called out to Tomini. "Ah, those must be the three men I requested" Tomini couldn''t help but contemplate to himself. "Please let them in," Tomini said with a hint of joy. Three strong-looking men walked in front of Tomini "We greet you Lord Tomini!" the three men bowed and shouted in unison. Tomini had used his Scan Target spell but although they look strong two were level 9 and the other one was level 10. Tomini couldn''t help but think to himself, "No wonder they couldn''t defend themselves the soldiers were no less than level 15. I wonder..." Tomini cast Scan Target on Ardale "it appears that if the average person is like Ardale then.... the average person would be level 6. That would mean that these three individuals have quite the potential, considering their level and their age. Village elder, you have done good for yourself, I will not forget to reward you." Tomini was not stupid he could see the latent potential in these three young men. Tomini began "What do you call yourselves". "I am Galen" the young man with the red hair and brown eyes stated."I''m the one they call me Duron" said the most imposing one of the three, Duron had short hair and the strongest looking build. "My lord I am Ren" The remaining one stated having white hair was quite odd it was the first thing Tomini noticed about Ren. Both Galen and Duron were level 9 while Ren was level 10. Still, Ren and the others couldn''t help but seem as mesmerized as Ardale was when she first entered the pagoda. How was this building created so quickly and in a day no less? "Going forward you guys will be trained under me I will not accept no for an answer In the future if you three work hard I will make you captains and each of you will command armies I will give each of you titles when such a time arrives" Tomini stated. Tomini motioned the three of them to follow him towards the pagoda''s courtyard as they made their way to the courtyard he continued to contemplate his plan he noticed that there were many obstacles in his way such as the lack of gold, weapons, and even basic living accessories the longer he remained in thought, the more he realized how much work was ahead of him. Reaching the center of the courtyard Tomini exclaimed "Today is your first day of training, I won''t go easy on you. Line up." In order for them to fight they would need to acquire a class and martial arts But they would need to either come up with their own or learn from a teacher. The first option could take years so only the second option was possible. If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. Looking through his martial skills the one that stuck out the most was the "The Black Wind Lotus". The Black Wind Lotus martial arts was focused on agility and speed. Tomini thought that a fast-moving army would be able to sweep their opponents. As soon as they were lined up they began training as if it were a martial arts school the teacher in front of his students "Do as I do and maybe you''ll live through this." Tomini said but in reality, there was no possibility that any of them would die, Tomini just wanted them to concentrate as best they could. As the sun was setting Galen, Duron, and Ren were prompted with the skill acquired screen. "It looks like they have finally acquired the skill" Whispered to himself. "This concludes your training after today you will continue learning what I thought you three by yourselves as I have more pressing issues that I must resolve you have 1 week to raise your levels to at least 15" Tomini shouted."Your rooms are on floor 5, 6, and 7 you guys can choose which of you guys goes in which room they are all the same of course there is a bath as well if you so choose to bathe" Tomini finished. "Yes! Thank you Lord Tomini!" the three men bowed and moved towards the inside of the pagoda. Finally, it was time for Tomini to have a turn with the bath, But before he went in he stopped by Ardale "How old are you ?" Tomini asked, "I''m 17 Mr. Tomini" replied Arsdale. "I see can you cook?" Tomini continued questioning Ardale. ''Yes, I''ve cooked for my family before why?" Ardale affirmed. "I would like you to prepare some food for me after the bath and please deliver it to floor 7 room 1." Tomini asked politely. "I would love to but... But what if you don''t like it?" Ardale Followed. "Not be good enough?" Tomini paused "Anything was better than scrounging for ra... Nevermind nows not the time for that" Tomini thought while some of is memories flashed by. "Please just prepare anything is fine don''t forget to deliver it to my room" Tomnini finally finished speaking with her and moved up to the fifth floor for a bath. "He invited me to his room? Could he be planning to?"Ardale slapped both her cheeks simultaneously as if to take herself out of a daze. Meanwhile, in the bath Tomini continued contemplating the gold problem how could he solve the gold problem without hand feeding it to them. He could have them send people to hunt monsters. Monsters could drop gold and items but that''s too risky especially at the level of the villagers are in. That method would have to wait. Another way could be if he sold resources to cities but they had no valuable resources. "Wait... that''s right! The soldier''s bodies there must have been at least 50 soldiers and they could have carried coins with them why didn''t I think of this sooner?" Tomini could help but mumble Tomini needed to inform the villagers as soon as possible not only that he needed to find capable blacksmiths to outfit his own to be troops. He would need the coins the soldiers carried to buy some blacksmith, but where would he get the blacksmiths? Another thing he thought about was when the empire would receive word that their troops were dead. If need be Tomini didn''t mind displaying a show of force he thought to himself. It was time for Ardale to bring his dinner to his room so he decided to get out, as he was leaving he came to a mirror on a wall before stepping out. "That''s right I don''t even know what I look like in this world lets see. Black hair dark eyes, wait why do I look this young" Tomei appeared as a 17 or an 18-year-old man. He wasn''t too ugly or good looking he was average. Tomini hastily opened his menu and sure enough, his name was their, age 17. Why hadn''t anyone pointed out that he was still a teenager? Tomnini thought he should ask Aradale this question once she came to his room. Tomini left the bath and went to his room a couple of seconds later Ardale arrived "Just on time." Tomini smiled he hadn''t had a real dinner for a long time. Although he didn''t need to eat he did miss the taste. Chapter 5: Frost Iron Chapter 5: "I have a question for you Ardale," asked Tomini. Ardale was blushing but why? what kind of thought was going through her head? "Y-yes Mr. T-Tomini" Ardales voice was shaking. "Why hasn''t anyone pointed out that I''m only a 17 years old kid?" Replied Tomini. "Only 17? What? You''re funny you''re over 16 so you''ve been an adult for a year now." Ardale giggled. "I''m just joking Ardale" Replied, it appeared that in this world if you''re 16 you''re considered a man. "Please leave the food on my bed and please take a break you''ve worked all day" Tomini spoke to which Ardale replied with a simple bow and left. Meanwhile, Ardale walked back to her room she couldn''t help but hear Galen Talking to himself in his room. "Oh crap I was so scared but What if I had died while practicing those martial arts ?? And what is this nonsense about becoming captains of an army I''m just a farmer" Galen Wailed Ardale didn''t want to eavesdrop so she headed towards her room. Morning arrived and it was time for practice again Duron and Ren were in the courtyard but where was Galen he was nowhere to be found? "Let''s go see if he''s in his room," Duron said to Ren. The pagoda wasn''t all the big but compared to the villager''s houses the pagoda was indeed magnificent in the people''s eyes. Finally arriving at Glen''s room they knocked on his door and came in. "You''re right he is here!" Ren stating the obvious. "Please don''t drag me back I don''t want to die" Begged Galen "Quit being a coward Lord Tomini saved our village the least you can do is give your life to him" Duron stated. They began dragging their comrade back to the courtyard. They began practicing their martial arts. While Ardale began cooking their meals. The stove she cooked on although she didn''t know it, the stove was engraved with runes that apply heat the pans and pots. Although this must have seemed impressive the spell that was used to cast had a limit. If Tomini wanted to increase the size of the house he would need to hire workers. Tomini had came downstairs on a mission he needed to acquire the gold from the dead soldiers, the reason being that if he did not acquire the gold then there would be no economy no trade, in short, there would be no workers. Stepping outside of his home Tomini went out to seek the village elder. On his way to the elder''s house, he could help but see the unfortunate state the village was homeless people orphans. He needed to fix this. Reaching the elders home he began to knock on his door, within a couple of moments the door was opened, the elder stood in front of him and spoke "Saviour please com in I know it''s not much but I can make some tea". "I would love some tea please do I come here to ask something of you I would like for you to tell the villagers to gather the gold that was on the dead soldiers" Tomini had asked. "Ah yes I can do that but what do you need the gold for?'' the elder shook his head. "We need blacksmiths and we need to improve the living conditions of the villagers you can tell the villagers they can keep 20% of the gold they find and here take this for yourself?" replied Tomini handing the elder a silver ring.Enjoying this book? Seek out the original to ensure the author gets credit. The silver ring gave the wearer increased vitality. Tomini though this was suitable reward thinking that the village elder would be able to complete his task better without the burden of his old age. "Thank you Lord Tomini I will tell them right away! " the old man finished ecstatically. Tomini had finished his conversation and his tea so it was time for him to leave the next step was to find some valuable resources a metal mine would do for now. With that thought, Tomini flew up and looked for ore deposits nearby. Luckily he didn''t have to go more than 6 miles to find one. Tomini had spotted a mine in the middle of a grassland the only problem was that it was surrounded by goblins. It appeared they lived in the mine, there were about 120 goblins give or take a few. The mine was most likely created by the goblins not only as a home but to create weapons for themselves. "No wonder the villagers did not dare and try to claim the mine as theirs". It wasn''t the goblins were in the level range of 10-12 even if they were level 5 a squad of imperial soldiers of 50 wouldn''t dare attack the goblins den for the simple fact that goblins had near-human intelligence and on top having small boding goblins were extremely agile creatures able to take down multiple careless soldiers. Tomini decided he should go down there and take a closer look. Landing in the middle of the goblins he could clearly see the repulsiveness of the goblin creatures standing 3 feet tall an abnormally large nose and sickly teal color to their skin. "Goblins you are trespassing on my land if you do not wish to be exterminated leave now" Tomini stated, but atlas none of the Goblins moved. "Why does no one learn?" Tomini sighed. In the next moment, Tomni began casting a spell, magic circles began appearing around him raising his hand he spoke "Dark Attribute Blood Fog" all the bird that was previously chirping. the animals that howled or roared had stopped it was complete silence. The animals could sense something was wrong they began moving away they knew their life was in danger. Sadly only half of the animals made it out alive the dark blood fog encompassed the radius of half a mile. Nothing was left not even the corpses. Tomini decided to use this spell because it didn''t affect the land and the animals would respawn unfortunately for the goblins they would not. Tomini had felt no remorse he had given them the option to leave his domain, they had chosen wrong. He had already been through hell in his previous world, he was unfazed by the death he caused. "Now let''s see what kind of mine this is shall we?" Tomini spoke to himself. Going about 15 feet into the mine he had to cast a spell to be able to see it was pitch black. Another 10 feet and he had found the end of the mine it appeared that the goblins were hadn''t found any kind of metal he began to lean on the wall of the mine in disappointment. To his surprise, the wall started cracking and crumbling the wall fell. To Tomnini''s surprise, there were deposited of some strange blue metal. Looking at the log files of the Systems it seems that the people of the land had a ranking system for the metals as well just like the spells from 1-9. He picked it up a chunk of ore. Tomini used his inspection skill it revealed that it was a 7th tier metal but I had no name. Could it be this metal was never discovered? Tomini pondered for a min and decided to give it a name. He needed a name that would suit the metal it was cold to the touch and it was a metallic blue color. After contemplating many names Tomini finally decided to call it "Frost Iron".All he needed a blacksmith to forge this metal into weapons. Tomini decided was time to go home he wanted to check on the progress of his captains to be. Chapter 6: Acquiring Gold Chapter 6: Acquiring Gold Tomini wondered how the Empire would react when the news of the fallen soldiers reached them. Meanwhile in the empire, a middle-aged man sat on the Imperial throne. ¡°Your majesty the orcs are invading our southern territories!¡± an adviser yelled running into the throne room. Unbeknownst to the emperor, the land to the north of them had also been claimed by an unknown individual. ¡°Those blasphemous orcs! They will pay with their life¡¯s¡± yelled a knight. Among the emperor''s company, there were knights, nobles, and advisors. They all started chattering amongst themselves after hearing the bad news. ¡°What? We should move and intercept the orc threat as soon as possible!¡± cried out one of the nobles. ¡°Yes we must go with haste your majesty!¡± one of the nobles agreed. The emperor waved his hand silencing the chatter in the throne room. ¡°Baron Eler, Duke Zikiel take your troops and defend the southern territories!¡± exclaimed the emperor. ¡°With pleasure¡± replied Duke Zikiel, ¡°It would be my honor¡± replied Baron Eler. ¡°It seems that the nobles long for battle.¡± the emperor thought to himself. Together the armies of both the noble¡¯s armies combined were approximately 27,000 thousand soldiers. It could be considered a formidable army. "Please leave me I need some rest" the emperor stood up motioning his guests to leave the room. Moments following their departure the emperor collapsed on his knee coughing blood. "Father!" a purple-haired girl ran to the emperor side. "I need more time!"The emperor thought to himself hitting the ground. When Tomini returned to the doorstep of his home he overheard a conversation between Galen and Ardale. Galen spoke, "So you''re Lord Tomini''s woman ?". Ardale was baffled "What?!" her face turned red, "How could I be his women I''m only a maid!" Ardale finished. They hadn''t noticed but Tomini was standing 10 feet away from their conversation. "You two please don''t say anything unnecessarily, and Ardale you shouldn''t belittle yourself," Tomini said, Ardales face glowed redder with each passing moment. Tomini decided it would be best to check on Ren and Duron. "Have you guys seen the other two" Tomini asked "The other two? Oh you must mean Ren and Duron they said they were going out a couple of hours ago." replied Galen. Going out? Why would they go out? The front door swung open and in came Duron and Ren. "Perfect timing I wanted to talk to both of you. let''s go to the courtyard" Once in the courtyard, Tomini got into a battle stance, it was a martial arts style they hadn''t different to theirs. Tomini looked at both of them in the eyes. "I can see you guys have increased your levels Durron yours is now level 13 and you Ren you''re almost level 14." Tomini grinned, he stuck his arm out and motioned his fingers "Come.", Ren and Duron instantly knew that Tomini wanted to spar with them.Support the author by searching for the original publication of this novel. The both of them pounced on Tominie''s location, with ease Tomini was able to block all their strikes. No matter how hard they hit or how fast they hit, Tomini was always one step ahead of them. "Come on is that the best you guys can do?" Tomini asked the pair. "How did you know we were holding back." Ren stared at Tomini in aw. "At your levels, you guys should be able to defeat those soldiers that invaded your village with your martial arts but you''re only at this level?" Tomini sighed. In reality, Tomini was monitoring their stamina bar and it wasn''t draining quickly. "In battle, it''s kill or be killed, fight like your life depends on it. Again!" Tomini shouted. Ren and Durron began once again ren lead with a high kick, but unfortunately for him, his leg was caught by Tomini to easily. Duron took this opportunity to try to thrust his fist towards Tomini. Tomini dodged and Duron''s strike landed on Rens''s face. "Watch what you''re doing!" yelled Ren holding on to his cheek. "Release your skills or you won''t be able to land a hit on me." Tomini stated. Duron ignored Ren and he unleashed the skill he acquired "Martial Skill: Full Connect!" Duron shouted. This skill had an extremely high accuracy rate, although it wasn''t very powerful it was almost a guaranteed hit. Duron''s body started glowing blue as he was getting ready to release his skill. Bang a shock wave was released, it had shocked Duron because of how powerful it was as he hadn''t used this skill before. "Good, very good, you''re skill landed... right into my fist" Tomini was grimacing, Tomini used this opportunity to karate chop Duron knocking him out. "Look Ren at how easily your compared has fallen. Do you still have the will to fight?" Tomini asked Ren. "Martial Skill: Light Step!" Ren shouted the skill engulfed Ren in a yellow glow. The light step is a Martial skill that increased the users base speed by 50% allowing them to surpass their limits. With this Ren began moving all around the courtyard, jumping from floor to wall and vise versa. "Come at me, Ren!" Tomini shouted the sun began to set and Ren made his move. Ren was punching 10 times a second but all his moves were either dodged or blocked. "How is this possible?!" Ren thought. Little did he know the level gap was too big ren was like an ant in front of Tomini. Two faces were sticking out of the house''s doorway, Tomini had noticed this. It was Galen and Ardale they were curious about the commotion in the courtyard. Tomini was getting ready to finish the fight and in the same way he knocked out Duron, Tomini began raising his hand and karate chopped Rens neck leaving him unconscious. Hey, Galen come pick these two up and take them to their rooms. Galen hastily moved to pick them up, he didn''t want to be next to spar with Tomini. With the little spar, they had Tomini knew it was time to start recruiting his army. Tomini began walking to his room when he was stopped in his tracks by Ardale, "My sister is probably worried about me do you think I could take a day off and go see her?" Ardale asked Tomini, "Take tomorrow off then and bring her here she can stay with you in your room." Tomini replied. Tomini headed towards his bed and went to sleep. Morning came Tomini had woken up and decided to go see how the village was doing on collecting the gold. The villagers seeing Tomini went up to him and thanked him for his generosity for allowing them to keep some of the gold. He spotted the village elder and questioned him on the gold, "Have the villagers collected all the gold yet?" Tomini questioned him. "Yes Lord Tomini they''ve collected 5 gold coins and 54 silver coins." Tomini remembered that 1 gold piece was equivalent to 100 silver or 1000 copper coins. "We also have a problem, there are villages in the land you claimed that they''ve heard of what you have done and wish to join." continued the elder. "Join me? Why for?" asked Tomini in confusion. "If they are in my land they are already part of my soon to be empire. The only problem is that they wish to relocate to our village, if that happens there will be about 300 of us but we won''t have enough food to last us to through the winter. " followed Tomini. "They are also tired of the oppression they fear that what happened to our village will also happen to theirs." said the elder with a worried expression on his face. "How could I be so stupid," Tomini thought winter is coming and I didn''t realize. there''s no heating in the villager''s house much less the food they''ve acquired cant feed that many people. Tomini Decided that he would need to go to the empire and purchase food he could also look for skilled laborers to work for him in the village. Chapter 7: The Merchant Guild Chapter 7: The Merchant Guild Tomini decided to depart to the capital as soon as he could but he needed someone that knew the countries location, he needed to leave the instructions for the elder as well. If more villagers were going to come to the village then he would need more houses. "Elder please have a group of villagers commence construction on some houses." Tomini said. The elder nodded in agreement. The lucky person that Tomini decided to take with him was Ren. Tomini would need to go back to his house and get a hold of Ren. When talking with ren during his practice Tomini told him "Ren we will depart to the closest fief governed by a noble. I trust you know the way." Tomini said not sure if Ren actually knew the direction of the empire. "Yes lord Tomini." Ren replied with the least bit of hesitation. Tomini pulled up his admin console and took out a cloak for Ren. The cloak white with blue linings, it had the ability to allow the user to fly. Tomini didn''t want to carry Ren all the way to his destination. "Thank you Lord Tomini!" Ren bowed. Ren began to levitate once he put the cloak on, he couldn''t control it and started spinning, as he was spinning he began to throw up. The force caused by rotating faster and faster caused the vomit to smack Ren in the face causing him to through up even more. "Crap I should have thought him how to fly first." Tomini regretted, but alas it was too late ren was covered in vomit. Raising his hand Tomini spoke "Dark Attribute: Negate Flight" dark magic circles appeared around Tomini and a spell shot out of his hand towards Ren. When the spell landed Ren stopped spinning and fell from the air bumping his head on the floor. Tomini decided it would be best if he went alone he asked Ren to clean himself and point him the right direction. Flying by his lands Tomini noticed there were plenty resources ripe for the takin there were fertile grasslands lakes full of freshwater and fish. There was even a giant redwood forest. "I should check that out." thought Tomini. Just over the horizon, Tomini could just make out the silhouette of a city surrounded by walls of stone. It appeared that he was almost there. Having given a lot of thought Tomini decided he would go against the idea of setting the whole city on fire. Thinking of what happened in the old world he wanted to take over the world without taking innocent lives. It was a battle of morality. Tomini decided it would be best if he went in unnoticed. Tomini went invisible once he had finally arrived at to an empty alleyway he came down from his flight. Removing his invisible spell he came out of the alleyway. The city street was bustling with traffic shops were open everywhere. He needed to find a shop capable of selling enough food. "Hey mister, mister!" a child''s voice called out to Tomini it was a 4-foot boy. "I can see you''re looking for something I can help you, you know." the boy said enthusiastically. "How can you help me?" Tomini stated thinking the boy wanted to swindle him. "What''s in it for you ?" Tomini continued. "I need medicine for my kid sister but I don''t have any money." the boy answered. "Very well how much will it cost me." inquired Tomini. "10 copper coins." replied the boy. "Ok let''s go I need to to find a market place or something that can sell me large amounts of commodities." Tomini finished. This novel is published on a different platform. Support the original author by finding the official source. The boy pretended he was twiddling a mustache and sated "Then you''d be looking for the All-mighty Barcelo Merchant Guild they carry just about everything." The boy lead Tomini to the Guild while observing the streets he noticed guard being bribed, "Tch scum" Tomini thought he was disgusted by the current state of the empire. "Here we are sir" the bot stuck his hand out expecting his payment. Tomini paid the boy and sent him on his way. The doors on the guild house were 12 feet high making the tallest man be dwarfed in comparison. The door was made out of wood lined with a silvery colored metal. It was most likely had no value since it would be asking people to come and steal the metal of the door. It did, however, create the illusion of grandeur. Stepping in Tomini was Imeiatly greeted by a man "Hello what can I do for you?". "I was looking for enough food to feed 300 people over the course of winter." asked Tomini. The man started pondering making calculations of the cost for the amount of food. "That would be... 8 gold coins and 50 silver coins." the man told him. It appeared that Tomini didn''t have enough, Tomini decided to pull out 3 pieces of Frost Iron. "I just discovered this a while ago how much can I get for this?" The man was shocked it was a kind of metal he hasn''t seen before "Please waite here." The man urged Tomini. The man had left and in came a 16-year-old looking guy. The guy had fiery red hair and a temper to match. "Hey! Hey, You their!" the guy pointed his finger at Tomini. Tomini decided to ignore him. "I''m talking to you!" The red-haired guy said getting uncomfortably close to Tomini. It looked like trying to ignore the guy wasn''t going to work. "Can I help you?" Tomini said he was visibly annoyed. "Yea take your poor self out of here I don''t want to be breathing the same air you are!" roared the red-haired guy. "Why should I? I was here before you weren''t I?" Tomini maintained his cool. "I''m the son of Baron Eler, Arthur. So you better do what I say!" Demanded Arthur. Tomini realized it was useless trying to reason with him and gave up he began ignoring him again. Luckily the man that was helping Tomini with his purchases came back, but he didn''t come back alone there was another man with him an older man, around 40 years old. "Please step this way sir" the 40-year-old man motioned Tomini to enter into another room where they could discuss the rare metal ore he had found. "Come back here coward!" were the last words that the young noble spoke before Tomini had left. The young noble didn''t know it but he had offended the most powerful man on the planet. "The next time I meat you will be on the battlefield." Tominit thought to himself. "Where did you find this? Do you have any more pieces of this? Whats do you call it?" the 40-year-old man bombarded Tomini questions about the metal ore. "I call it "Frost Iron" No I only found these 3 pieces by luck they were just laying on the ground. " explained Tomini. Tomini was wary of the man he didn''t want to give the location of his mine. "I can give you 35 gold pieces each I''d offer more but I''m not sure if we are able to make useful items out of it." the man offered Tomini. Although Tomini didn''t know the actual price of the ores he wasn''t too pressed on money issues what he needed the most right now was skilled labor and food for his people. "I''ll accept only if you lower the price to 30 gold and if you send find some blacksmiths I can take to a village I''m staying in" Tomini made a counter offer. "You''ve got yourself a deal!" the 40-year-old man stood up in and shook Tomini''s hand. We will send carriages with your supplies and workers to your village''s location they should arrive within 2 days. Tomini remembered that he had sent word to the empire about his claim to the land. If it took 2 days on carriages to get to the empire from this feudal territory then I would take longer for the villager to send word to the empire that was further away. This bought Tomini time to prepare a small army. "Very well I will take my leave, I will expect my purchases to arrive on time." Tomini decided to leave through an empty alley the same way he came in but was stopped by a chubby man wearing a burgundy suit and a mustache on his face. "I can smell the gold on my good sir please step into my shop you''re looking for a slave aren''t you? That''s why you''re here in this alley right?" the slave trader said. Tomini was intrigued not because he wanted slaves but because although it wasn''t out in plain sight the slave traders business wasn''t hidden either. Tomini decided to indulge in his curiosity and stepped inside the building.
