 Chapter 1

    "Hey Jessi, did you enjoy the meal I made today?" Florrie


    "Yes I did enjoy the meal but..." Jessi. Suddenly the phone rings and Jessi looks at it, what she sees says ''Badger in the house'' and she Instantly finishes her meal to go into the bedroom and start packing.


    "What are you doing Jessi?"Florrie


    "Sorry but unfortunately we have to go, I just got news that the new school has accepted our application, we are going to live there" Jessi


    "Really? Yes! Thank you jessi, I can''t wait" Florrie


    "No problem, let''s get in the car" Jessi. They get in the car and drive off, Jessi looks down at her phone and presses a button setting off a timer for the house to explode in 15 minutes. Whilst driving Florrie notices something.


    "Why are we driving in to the middle of nowhere?" Florrie


    "Well, the school can only be reached by doing one thing, watch this" Jessi. Jessi presses a button on the car and a portal opens up in the middle of the road, the minute the car goes through the portal the both of them see a whole new kingdom pop up out of nowhere.If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen.     "Wow, you weren''t joking when you said that this school was in a special place" Florrie


    "Unfortunately, this was the easy part" Jessi. The car suddenly drives straight toward a cliff.


    "What do you meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeean" Florrie. As the car goes in to freefall, Jessi suddenly ejects the both of them by pressing another button on the car.


    They both fly towards a massive tree with one single branch high above rest, Jessi and Florrie collide into the branch from above bending it backwards until it''s limits until suddenly they are catapulted to the kingdom by the branch.


    "Hold on tight, Florrie" Jessi. Jessi wraps herself around Florrie as she''s clung onto tightly, she activates her powers providing a thick shield on her back.


    (Classroom POV)


    "Class, today I see that you are not paying enough attention to today''s class , perhaps you would like to stay beh"


    Suddenly an object smashes through the whiteboard interrupting the teacher and surprising everyone in the room. The object smashes into the lockers at the back of the room creating a massive dent in the lockers.


    "*Cough**Cough*" Jessi


    "Excuse me but who exactly are you two?" Teacher. You could see everyone in the room was completely and utterly gobsmacked.


    "I am Jessie and this is my little sister Florrie, I hope you will treat us well as we will probably be staying in this school for a long time" Jessie. Jessie shakily stood up while carrying her little sister who had collapsed due to shock and smiled crazily while blood was running down one side of her mouth.

 Chapter 2

    Jessie was in the nurse''s office getting patched up when the headmaster of the school came in. The headmaster otherwise known as the bear in the superhero world looked exactly like you think he would, a massive mountain of a man who looked like even without powers could take down a bear (probably could actually). He came to sit a on a small stool so that he could talk to Jessie, you could hear the stool loudly complain about the massive weight put on it. He presented one of the more weirder meetings Jessi had during her life.


    "Well well well, what do we have here? Is this the great and famous shadow shark attending our small and humble school?" The bear.


    "You can stop with that, me and my sister need a place we can stay for longer than a month, I am tired of all the little lies I tell my little sister and the constant looking over my shoulder wondering whether that man will come and try to destroy everything I love, which is very little mind you" Jessi.


    "Jessi, I promise to make sure that at least your little sister will be protected, I can''t promise to protect you though as the amount of notoriety you have will make it impossible to protect you" The bear.The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.


    "That''s fine, I can handle myself just fine and anyone who will think that it will be easy to get one over me will severely regret it" Jessi.


    1 Hour later


    Jessi went to her wardrobe to put her outfit on, afterwards she looked at herself in the mirror. Jessi was relatively small in height, wore black jeans, wore a red top with a black hoodie on top. Jessi had black hair tied up in a ponytail but there was one thing oddly different about Jessi, she had white irises. The thing about powers is that they always leave some form of physical manifestation, Jessi''s had turned her irises completely white.


    The next day


    Jessi was sitting in class listening to the teacher explain powers.


    "The thing about powers is that they evolve alongside their owners, making it harder for the owner of that particular power to stray from a set path, if you do bad things with your power then it will corrupt you and make it so that you can only do bad things with your power. I am in no way saying that it''s impossible to change your path if you try hard or the crimes you do are forgivable in the eyes of the universe, most things are forgivable, even murder in the right circumstances but you have got to be careful that if you do murder someone or just generally do bad things with your power then you are going down a slippery slope" Teacher.


    Suddenly an alarm rang out, ''WARNING! THERE IS A TERRORIST ATTACKING THE SCHOOL! PLEASE STAY INSIDE AND DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TRY ANY HERIOCS''


    Jessi stood up though, "I am going to fight the terrorist, don''t stop me"

 Chapter 3

    3 hours earlier in a military base:


    A man and a woman stood before a black mechanized suit that had massive blasters attached to the wrist of the suit which had a thick wire connected to a battery looking device in the back.


    The man in the suit who looked to be about 40 took his hat off to reveal his grey hair and reached into the hat to take a bunch of money out, "Here''s the money, can you do the job?"


    The women who looked to be about 20 and had a scar across her eye glared at the man and snatched the money away from him, "Are you joking? After what she did?"


    "I am interested, what exactly did Jessi do?" Man

    "Well, to get to this suit we had to kill a lot of people in this base, this better be worth it" Man


    They both stared around the room containing the suit,  dead body''s were scattered around the room and blood was painted across the walls. "This is probably what an extreme version of Jackson Pollock''s paintings look like" Man


    The woman sighed and stared back at the suit, "Hey, are sure this suit will help me beat Jessi?"


    "Of course, the suit''s not only good for defense but the battery contains concentrated light which is pretty dangerous normally but is downright deadly to Jessi as it is her biggest weakness" Man


    Present time on a roof:


    A person in a mechanized suit was fighting the people around them, blocking one person with one blaster while blowing that person''s head off with another blaster.


    Shadows then covered the roof instantly, a person rose from the shadows looking straight at the person in the mechanized suit. The shadow person had an all black outfit save for a white hockey mask which had a zigzag like smile carved into it.


    The shadow person pointed their finger at the person in the mechanized suit, "You will stop this or you will die"


    "Oh? Really? What could you hope to achieve when this suit is powered by your main weakness?" Mechanized suit


    "You seem like you know who I am, do you?" Shadow person


    "Of course I do shadow shark, or should I call you Jessi?" Mechanized suit


    "Are you who I think you are?" Jessi


    "Of course I am, I am here to get my revenge for Steve" Mechanized suit


    "God damn it Rachel!" Jessi

 Chapter 4

    "You know what, I don''t care care if you blame me for Steve''s death, I will beat you black and blue till you come back to your senses" Jessi. Jessi pulled a katana out of the shadows and positioned herself in the Iai* position.


    "*Laughs* Come and get me then" Rachel. Rachel positioned herself in a boxing pose.


    Jessi started off the fight by slashing at Rachel''s midsection which Rachel blocked using her left arm while shooting at Jessi using the blaster on her right arm.


    Jessi just managed to dodge the blast but the resulting light particles that bounced off the floor managed to touch her leg which left sever burns on her leg, "Fuck! I''m guessing that blaster has built in light energy in it otherwise I wouldn''t be having this reaction" Jessi


    "Well, of course I would prepare for a fight making sure that I have the maximum advantage, I even have the light energy built into both blasters just to make sure I beat you" Rachel.     Jessi used the flat part of her katana to redirect Rachel''s punch which put Rachel off balance, Jessi then smashed the handle of her katana into the back of Rachel''s head knocking her out.


    Suddenly there was a sword covered in light at her neck, "You will drop the weapon and stand down otherwise I will be forced to take drastic measures"


    Jessi dropped the katana which disappeared into nothing as it fell to the ground, put her arms up and turned around. If Jessi had learned one thing in her short life it would be that you could know what kind of person someone is by the clothes they wear and the girl she turned around and saw was definitely royalty. The woman stood in a commanding pose while wearing a regal white outfit which had hints of gold in.


    "And who exactly are you?" Jessi


    "I am princess Isobel and I am here to make sure that woman stays alive so we can know if there is someone behind her"

    "*sigh*Alright princess, we''ll have it your way then" Jessi

 Chapter 5

    In a dark basement below the school Rachel was chained to a table being questioned by Isobel while Jessi was standing in a corner crossing her arms listening to the conversation.


    "So, how did you know about this place?" Isobel


    "The same way Jessi knew aboutthis place. During the war of the mercenaries we learned of this place thanks to a massive leak of information by one of the big gangs involved" Rachel


    Isobel turned around in her seat to glare at Jessi, "Care to tell me why you didn''t tell me this before?"


    "Didn''t think it was that important" Jessi

    Rachel smirked, "Of course he was, gave me a picture of you and told me to kill you"


    Jessi strode to the table, punched Rachel in the face and then left the room.


    "Who exactly is this Badger person?" Isobel


    "Jessi''s worst nightmare, after what he did to her i''m surprised she managed to stay sane" Rachel


    Jessi walked to the basically empty computer room and went to a boy who was in a corner messing around with the computer, "Are you a good hacker?"


    The boy rolled his eyes, "Of course I am, there is literally no one better me"


    "Then I want you to go into the the dark web thingy majigand search for recently destroyed military sites within the last few hours and then hack into the security cameras and check the security footage" Jessi


    5 minutes later......


    "Here is the footage at a military site that from looking at documents was researching how to weaponise light particles" boy


    Jessi saw the man in the suit look at the camera and smirk while waving and slammed her fist onto the table, "Damn bastard!"


    The boy was about to question what she was so angry about but just saw her pacing angrily out of the room.


    Jessi opened up her locker which was given to everyone at the start of the school and saw a present in it. The present had a red bow wrapped around it, on the red bow was a note that said ''Hope you enjoy the present, this is for all the birthday''s I have missed''. Jessi was hesitating to open the ''present'' because she knew who it was from but sighed, "Screw it".


    Jessi opened the present and inside it was a severed head of a woman.

 Chapter 6

    Jessi glared into the box and angrily threw it in to the locker inciting attention to her actions, a boy walked out of the psychologist''s office "Ooooooh someone''s very angry, would you care to tell me why you would treat a present someone gave you that way?"


    "You don''t need to know, now get out of my way" Jessi, as Jessi slammed the locker shut and began to walk away the boy blocked her way.


    "I''m sorry but I''m going to need to look inside that present otherwise I can''t let you go" boy


    "*tsk* fine but I''m going to get lunch, you know where to find me" Jessi


    As Jessi walked away the boy opened the locker and peeked inside the opened present, the boy instantly realized what was in the present and nearly threw up on the spot.


    (boy''s POV)


    ''I can''t believe there was a severed head inside the box! I can''t believe how fucking insane this situation is! I think what I am most scared about though is that girl was really angry and from what I could see showed no other emotions almost like she was used to death.''The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.


    (Jessi''s POV)


    Jessi spotted a basiccaly free table with all but one girl at the table so she walked towards it and sat opposite the girl, "so who are you?"


    The girl seemed to like gothic related things as everything she wore seemed to have a creepy vibe to it, she wore a black dress with red crosses on it and had red and black striped hair, "I''m Melissa and this" Melissa pointed to a teddy bear lying on the table next to her, "is bob".


    "You do realize that''s just a teddy bear right?" Jessi


    The teddy bear suddenly jumped on the table and shouted "Excuse me, I am not your average teddy bear, I am nothing like those lazy bums relying on humans for everything. Wait a second, you''re just jealous aren''t you?"


    "Jealous of what exactly?" Jessi


    "Jealous of my hot teddy bear bod" Bob


    Melissa suddenly head chopped bob, "I''m very sorry about this guy, he likes to say random things to see what he can get away with"


    "Don''t worry, I think we''ll get along just fine" Jessi


    (Teacher Jake''s POV)


    A man in a black suit and hat was smirking in front of me, "So, you going to do what you have to? Follow my orders and save your family from destruction or will you refuse to follow my orders and face the consequences?"


    Jake was extremly uncomfortable and fearful "I w..w..will make sure that Jessi goes through a painful experience during her birthday and r..r..regets ever going against you."

 Chapter 7

    "Seriously though, what exactly is meant to be hot about a teddy bear?" Jessi


    Bob looked at jessi as if he was seeing an insane person "How do you not understand my hotness? Everyone knows teddy bears are hot"


    "No they don''t, that''s not a thing" Jessi


    The boy whom talked to jessi near her locker walked up to the table "While this is a riveting conversation, unfortunatley I need cut this coversation short as I want to have a conversation with Jessi"


    (At the psychologist''s office)


    On the wall there was a certificate of dipolma for psychology with the name Arron steel under it but the boy in front of Jessi was nowhere near old to get a diploma in pscholgy even if he was super smart "So, do you want to explain to me why a severed head was found in your locker?" Steel

    "Look, my family situation is pretty messed up but what I gather from reading comics is that my situation is pretty much a trope at this point so it doesn''t really matter" Jessi


    "That doesn''t change the fact that from what I can gather your father is very dangerous"


    Suddenly Jessi''s phone buzzed, she checked it and her face went pale.


    (Micheal steel''s POV)


    Me and my father are very good at looking for clues as to what makes a person tick. Jessi is not very complicated to figure out but has a lot of issues, she has a lot of trust issues, paranoia and has detachment issues. These issues obviously started because of her parents but I think there might have been other incidents which only made the issues worse. When her phone buzzed mine did too and I checked what was wrong, there was a case file attatched to a email which said Jessi did this. The case file described a brutal murder of one Lily Stone who was 40 at the time, she was stabbed in the stomach multiple times which is definitly overkill but otherwise had no defensive wounds which suggests the person who killed her was someone she trusted. I looked up and Jessi looked pale but otherwise had no other reaction which suggests that she wasn''t expecting this but was probably preparing for this for a long time.

 Chapter 8

    ¡° So, it says on your file that at the moment your 18 years old but this murder happened when you were 4 years old so would you care to tell me what you have to do with this murder? Let me warn you now though that if you lie you will be punished.¡± Michael


    ¡°Well, it¡¯s a long story but I guess this was going to happen eventually, you should record this so that you can release the story out to the public later on¡± Jessi


    (Recording started)


    14 Years ago:


    A little girl walked down the stairs to find that her parents had arranged a small birthday surprise for her.


    ¡±HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSI!¡± Mother and Father


    The daughter was so happy ¡°Thank you, mommy and daddy¡±


    The father ruffled her hair ¡°No problem kid, your grown up now¡±


    The mother smiled ¡°Guess what? Your auntie Lily is coming over to play¡±


    The daughter jumped in happiness ¡°Yay!¡±


    As the day went on, the door buzzed signalling that Lily had arrived. As lily made her greetings, Jessi¡¯s parents brought out her birthday cake ¡°You can eat all you want now that your auntie is here¡± Father


    Later on in the day Jessi felt strangely sleepy even she wasn¡¯t that tired earlier on but just mentally shrugged it of thinking nothing about it and fell asleep.


    (Jessi¡¯s POV)

    Her mother grabbed a knife a put it in Jessi¡¯s hands, ¡°You know what to do with this right?¡±


    As it dawned on Jessi what her parents were asking her to do Lily woke up, ¡°What¡¯s happening?¡±


    Her father smiled, ¡°Well, your niece is going to kill you now¡±


    Lily had woken up now and stared straight at Jessi, ¡°So this is what this has come to now huh. Well John and May I hope you enjoy the consequences of what you are about to do¡±


    John smiled and stared at Jessi too, ¡±I personally don¡¯t think there will be any consequences to this particular action for us, they will likely happen to dear Jessi here as she¡¯s the one who will be committing the action¡±


    A look of utter surprise went across lily¡¯s Face which then quickly moved to acceptance. She kindly smiled towards Jessi, ¡°I want you to know that I will forgive you for anything your about to do¡±


    Jessi couldn¡¯t believe what was happening and looked towards her mother in disbelief, the face her mother was making was so cold it destroyed all disbelief and in that moment she knew that if she didn¡¯t do what she was being asked of then she was dead to her parents.


    Jessi shakily walked towards her aunt and stabbed the knife in to her stomach.


    Jessi couldn¡¯t process the situation but her mother crouched down next to her anyway, ¡° You do know that she¡¯s not dead right? I want you to stab until I tell you to stop¡±


    A single tear ran dawn Jessi¡¯s face but she shakily took back the knife out and stabbed back in again.


    When her mother finally told her to stop blood was everywhere, and Lily¡¯s stomach looked like a siv.


    Her father stepped in this time, ¡°A villain¡¯s job does not end at just killing but also making sure that no else ever discovers what you have done, you will bury this body in the backyard¡±


    After Jessi buried her aunt¡¯s body she looked at herself in the bathroom mirror, ¡°*scream*¡±


    During her primal scream the shadows surrounding the bathroom condensed into one form, ¡°I see, Well are you gonna stop crying like a baby?¡±


    ¡±B..b..but I killed my aunt, I don¡¯t know what to do.¡± Jessi

 Chapter 9

    ¡°So what? The reason why you kill everyone is because your trying to get revenge? Because looking through all the known killings shadow shark has been involved with I¡¯m pretty sure some of them have nothing to do with your parents.¡± Michael


    ¡±Some of them don¡¯t but I figured along the way that I might as well just try to kill all criminals I come across.¡± Jessi


    ¡±How exactly did you come to this conclusion?¡± Michael


    ¡±I don¡¯t think you understand the situation. I realised during my planning for revenge through some very bloody incidents that I should expand my killing range. I am doing what I call a necessary evil, something that no else is willing to do but has to be done.¡± Jessi


    ¡±hmmm...ok, well I guess nothing I say is going to dissuade but I will warn you now that the path you are walking along will leave you a very lonely person.¡± Michael

    Jessi entered the bathroom and looked in to the mirror. The lights suddenly flickered and a shadow like being came out of Jessi¡¯s shadow, ¡°Well, your secrets finally out but what do you think will happen?¡±


    Jessi shrugged, ¡°I don¡¯t know but I have a funny feeling that this will make my situation worse.¡±


    ¡±*creepy laugh* I think it¡¯s pretty obvious no one will trust you anymore after this, perhaps you should strike out on your own and leave all these weaklings behind¡± Shadow


    ¡±Shut up, I don¡¯t need you trying to manipulate me like usual, I just want to have a calm reflection on the current situation.¡± Jessi


    ¡±Awwww, it¡¯s sweet that you think I would ever stop trying to manipulate you but if you want my honest advice then I think you just gotta be honest with yourself, are you good at anything apart from killing?¡± Shadow


    ¡±No but as I said to the counsellor everyone has got a role in life, fortunately for everyone I don¡¯t think they will need me forever and when that day comes they can get rid of me¡± Jessi


    The shadow being glared at Jessi and started to dissipate, ¡°Your a very boring person to be around you know?¡±


    When the shadow was gone Jessi stared at the empty space it used to occupate, ¡°I don¡¯t think I¡¯m that boring am I?¡±


    When Jessi exited the bathroom suddenly everything went black.

 Chapter 10

    Jessi woke up with a jolt and realized that she was attached to a chair with metal bands wrapped around her ankles, wrists and neck. Jessi realized that she was also wearing some sort of helmet that was attached to something.


    A man fiddling with a remote controller that had two buttons on it was in her view, he had noticed that she was awake. "Well hello, as you can probably guess you are attached to a machine that will electrocute you every time I press the button on the top and it will only stop when I press this button on the bottom, you will be punished for your transgressions and as your teacher it is my duty to teach you."


    "My father has put you up to this hasn''t he?" Jessi


    "That''s not important but as proof that I am serious you will be electrocuted for every time you dont follow my rules" Teacher. The teacher pressed the top button and suddenly aal Jessi could feel was extreme pain spread throughout her body, it almost felt like every cell in her body was in pain. When the teacher pressed the bottom button and the electricity stopped Jessi could still feel her musles spasming as a reaction to the electricity.The author''s content has been appropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.


    "Owww, that stung. Your enjoying this just a teeny bit arent you?" Jessi


    The teacher pressed the button again, "You will only talk when I ask you a question. Only then. Do you understand?"


    Jesi just tiredly nodded. "Good, do you understand the bad things you have done?" Teacher


    "What? Kill people? I understand that the things I do aren''t inherently good but I do what I think is a neccesary evil." Jessi


    "I''m not talking about that, I''m not going to slate you for that but I am going to slate you for straying from your destiny. You should be a villain and what you are doing is straying away from what the universe wants you to do." Teacher


    "The universe doesn''t want me to be anything, it''s my father who wants me to be a villain. I dont get why my father wants to hide behind the universe excuse but I will be whatever I want to be, I don''t care what anyone else thinks about my decision." Jessi


    "Well, your father cares and that''s all that matters." Teacher


    A shadow slowly crept out of the corner of the room and transformed itself into a human like being. The shadow went behind the teacher and knocked him out, it then slowly walked towards Jessi and unchained her from the seat. Jessi collapsed onto her knees after exiting the chair, "I hate how long it takes to create shadows that big"


    Jessi unsteadily stood up and walked towards the teacher on the floor, "I guess I will call the police, this is so not going to be fun"
