Below his feet was the planet Earth, looking towards the planet the man gave a short laugh. ¡°It¡¯s time to change up my little planet, she has grown quite beautifully with many different cultures appearing and the different eras that have risen and fallen, I wonder how she¡¯ll change with this new system.¡± He said with a small grin on his face. ¡°It took me long enough though, to save up enough faith points to upgrade my little planet with a system, I can¡¯t wait for a second more. The bigger one will be in the Pacific Ocean in between South America and Australia and I¡¯ll randomise the environment and topography of it. The smaller one I¡¯ll make into a floating continent that follows the equator moving from the west towards the east and will be a resource filled paradise. The man spent an unknown amount of time editing and adding stuff to the new system. ¡°Hahaha, it is done.¡± The man laughed he looked over what settings he had selected. All Races equipped with the Status system have 5 different stats, affecting how strong, skilled, intelligent or talented they are. Some races will have advantages and disadvantages in different stats and for an individual to view their stats, skills and talents they need to think ¡®status¡¯. The 5 stats are: Strength (STR) ¨C governs the ability of the physical strength and how much and induvial can carry. 1 point of strength is equal to being able to lift 10 kg. Constitution (CON) ¨C affects how sturdy and tough the body of the individual is. Constitution will affect how resistant the induvial is too harmful effects towards the body (poison, illness etc.). 10 points of constitution would allow an individual to have skin tough as bark, 100 points would be skin tough as iron. Dexterity (DEX) ¨C governs the speed, reflexes and the body control of a person. 10 point of dexterity is equal to being able to run at 20 km/h and average reaction time at 0.3 seconds. Intelligence (INT) ¨C affects the individual¡¯s ability to retain information, thinking speed, common sense and how strong their magic is. 10 points are the average of a normal human. Magic Resistance (MGR) ¨C affects the individual¡¯s resistance to magical attacks towards the body and mind. Skill System Nearly anything achievable by an individual can be called a skill. Skills are broken into different tiers. Tier 1 ¨C Beginner level, just starting. Tier 2 ¨C Novice level, a small amount of skill. Tier 3 ¨C Adept level, average level of skill. Tier 4 ¨C Veteran level, a good level of skill, roughly 1 in 50 individuals will have one. Tier 5 ¨C Expert level, high level of skill, roughly 1 in 200 individuals will have one. Tier 6 ¨C Master level, general mastery of a skill, roughly 1 in 10,000 of individuals will have one. Tier 7 ¨C Legend level, complete mastery of a skill, only 1 in 1,000,000 individuals will have one. Tier 8 ¨C Divine Level, unrivaled on the continent. Normally only 1-10 individuals per continent will have one. Tier EX ¨C Skill has surpassed the system ability to measure skill. Magic System The magic system adds elemental types of magic. Gaining control of an element will add it to the Skill System list once achieving a certain level of skill with the magic, the magic will be broken down in the same manner, as skills are, for example, Fire Magic Tier 1 or Earth Magic Tier 5. Magic Elements are Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Plant, Lightning, Light, Dark, Space, Time and Non-Elemental Magic. Some races are incapable of using certain elements while some races can use them all. The only exception to this is Non-Elemental which can be used by all races. New Races Pre-existing Humans will change into new races at random. New Races and the current percentage of the population of each race are: The last 0.01% are races that are inherently more powerful than normal, and these races are limited to family bloodlines. Some races will have natural abilities or skills unique to their race and will be listed as a racial or unique skill. During racial change, people will get their ideal body this includes humans as well. The middle-aged man closed the menu and waved his hand creating a chair that is solid white and made of an unknown material, then sat down in it and relaxed back into it, now gazing down once again towards the planet Earth eager to see how the world will change. Planet Earth Date 5th of May 2019 1:00 AM GMT At this time loud cracking noises could be heard all over the planet and in populated areas, the sounds of screaming, shouting and moaning caused by pain could be heard as well. As the cracking noises and noises caused by pain were made, the planet started expanding in size, in the Pacific Ocean deep under the sea the ground was rapidly rising to form the shape of a new continent. As the ground burst through the surface of the ocean, great amounts of water were displaced creating massive waves, hundreds of metres tall. Atop of the new continent, the topography rapidly changed to create mountains, rivers, forests, deserts, jungles and many other terrains, new fauna also appeared bringing many new creatures to the world. Located hundreds of kilometres above in the sky a speck of earth appeared and then started expanding in size to create the new floating continent, atop this new continent grass rapidly sprouted, rivers and lakes were made filling with water appearing out the air, and trees burst through the soil to create several forests and in the centre of the island the ground shot up to create a single mountain on the continent. As the planet was changing so were the people, their skin rippling or fur sprouting, changing to their new appearance and their new race, as these people were changing, they had bystanders looking upon them confused as to what was happening. These changes happening to the people lasted only mere minutes and the changes happening to the planet finished only in a dozen minutes. During this time the changes were occurring magic subtly started flowing out of the core of the planet seeping into everything on the planet. Over time other changes to the terrain will happen in already pre-existing continents. As of now on, these changes occurring on May 5th, 2019 and after, the world will enter a golden era with new advancements in technology, lifestyle and many other areas. But along with will be fighting and bloodshed. The system has descended. Chapter 1 - A Games Night with Special Character Sheets Earth ¨C South Australia 5th of May 2019 0:50 AM GMT I looked down at my phone flicking the screen on to see the time, 10:20 PM. I sat there on the grass looking out at the river in front of me and the stars above. Turning around to look at my friends, I see them chatting and drinking. I enjoy socialising with my friends, but as always, the world seemed dim, lacking in colour to me, preventing me from enjoying myself entirely. We get together, having a games night together every month, this time we had it at Izzy¡¯s house. Her house sits right alongside the river, not even 100 metres away from the back door of the house was the river. It was a great place to have our games night during summer but now coming towards the end of Autumn it was getting colder again. ¡°What are you thinking about?¡± I turned my head towards the voice that had come from my left, seeing Alex standing there. Alex is one of my closet friends, despite only knowing him for about two and a half years. He was 6¡¯1, big but not overly muscular and brown hair styled into a crew cut matched with the pair of cool glasses that he is always wearing. ¡°Not a lot, just pondering on the great mysteries of the world.¡± ¡°Pffft.¡± Alex looked at me and laughed. ¡°Witty response as usual.¡± I looked at him with a grin. ¡°That¡¯s how I always am when someone asks me questions like that.¡± ¡°What are you guys talking about?¡± Alex and I turned our heads to look at the new person adding to our talk. ¡°Nothing much Naomi, just getting witty replies from Bowen as the norm,¡± Alex said. Naomi, another member of our group, had walked over. She was shorter than Alex and I, standing at 5¡¯5, a pretty face with dark blonde hair braided to hang a couple of inches below her shoulders. ¡°Not surprised, you guys want to get back to playing card games with the rest of us?¡± I look towards the rest of our friends sitting there at the table we had brought outside. The seating around it was cramped as a table designed only for six seats but having a dozen chairs placed around it instead. ¡°Sure, you¡¯re on, I hope you don¡¯t lose too badly.¡± ¡°Hmph, good luck at winning!¡± ¡°Nah, don¡¯t need it your terrible at card games,¡± I said back to her, smirking. ¡°We¡¯ll see,¡± Naomi said and stormed off, back to the table. ¡°Let¡¯s get back to playing, shall we?¡± Alex said. I nodded towards him and got up and started walking towards our friends. That¡¯s when it happened. I could feel the ground beneath me shaking slightly and hearing a tremendous cracking sound splitting the air. Then I felt something move underneath my skin. After that, I started feeling pain all over my body. I groaned as I tried to fight back against the pain, but it kept growing, becoming more extreme until I started screaming. Along with the pain, I could feel weird energy rushing inside of me. It began in my chest, slowly spreading out towards the rest of my body with it clumping together at my head and the bottom of the spine. As the energy flowed, I could feel my insides shifting, and heavy pressure weighed on my spine. As the pain ramped up in intensity, I could hear in the background what sounded like my friend''s screams and shouting. Suddenly a sharp pain shot through my entire body, and I blacked out. As I felt myself stirring, I could feel someone shaking me. There also was an uncomfortable feeling just below spine, I shifted myself trying to get myself comfortable, and while moving I also noticed the discomfort from my penis and balls that I have had since I was 13, was gone, but the feeling below the spine didn¡¯t go away, so I opened my eyes to see what was causing my discomfort when I saw someone¡¯s face peering right over me. I focus on them, finally focusing on their face I recognised the face as one of my friends, Felicity. I could see a panicked expression on her face, wondering what was wrong. ¡°What¡¯s the matter?¡± As I said that I noticed something off about my voice, it felt¡­ at a higher pitch than usual. ¡°Are you Bowen?¡± She said, looking at me. ¡°Of course, who else would I be?¡± I said, curious as to why she asked me that. ¡°Ok, that¡¯s good you passed out for about ten minutes. You should get up and look at yourself and everyone else.¡± ¡°Ok, just let me get up¡±. As I stood up, I stumbled feeling off-balance. Once I stood up straight, I could feel my pants fall down my legs and bunch around my feet and something dropping down tugging on my lower body. I looked down to see why my pants had fallen to promptly notice I found my vision obstructed by my shirt sticking out. I also saw what seemed to be breasts being responsible for blocking my view through the neck hole in my shirt. It took a moment for me to understand what was happening, Felicity asking who I am, the missing presence of my penis and the breasts I saw, for me to realise my body was that of a girl. ¡°Huh, ok¡± I grunted out. I looked around to look at everyone and what I saw shocked me. I saw things I shouldn¡¯t be seeing. I saw some of my friends had new features they didn''t previously, one of them had wings, another with ears that ended in points like an elf and a few more friends with unique appearances. I looked around a notice only Felicity still looked as she did before. She has shoulder-length brown hair pulled up into a bun with a pretty face and an hourglass figure.Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings. ¡°Nothing changed on you, right?¡± I asked her, looking at her suspiciously. ¡°As far I can tell, no I don¡¯t think so, but never mind that why aren¡¯t you freaking out about being some fox girl?!¡± ¡°Some fox girl?¡± I turned around to see what was tugging on my back only to see a tail hanging out from the bottom of my shirt, which now draped down to cover my rear. It had blonde hair¡­ fur? With the tail going whiter until till the completely white tip. Staring at it, I reached around to grab it. So soft¡­ As I start touching and playing with it, I noticed Felicity staring at me with a small smile. ¡°Cough... Bowen, can you please help me get everyone sat up again the wall of the house, I didn¡¯t see anyone else stir except for you.¡± ¡°Ok, but I don¡¯t think we will be able to move Jakob,¡± I said, looking towards our friend Jakob. Before whatever caused these changes, he was a slightly muscular looking guy with short dark brown hair with a small pair of glasses on his face standing at 5¡¯11, but now he looked the same from his hips up, but below that is where it changed. His lower body was now that of a horse. ¡°I think he might be a centaur, what do you think?¡± ¡°Huh, I guess so? We will have to leave him there then but let¡¯s get everyone else up against the wall, ok?¡± I nodded towards Felicity before preceding to help her move everyone up against the wall. Once done, we had everyone leaning against the wall. We looked at everyone to see what was different about our friends. I first looked at Alex. He was still the same as before except for the fact that when we moved him to the wall, we noticed he was probably about three metres tall. Next was Naomi with her new bat-like wings and a thin and scaly black tail with the shape of an arrowhead at the end. Sonia before the change had pale skin and waist-length orange hair, but now her hair had streaks of blood-red, her skin even paler than before and the freckles on her face were gone leaving her with a smooth and clear complexion. Jason before the change was short at 5¡¯6 with ginger hair and a short beard, but now he looked a few inches shorter and had a stout body shape. Ekkia before had short blonde hair and was 5¡¯3, now she had blonde hair down to her waist, grew several inches taller and her ears became longer and pointed. Izzy before was 5¡¯6 with black hair, light brown skin and slightly noticeable Chinese facial features, now after her skin has become a creamy white colour and her hair, always moving as if being blown by the wind and changed to the shade of emerald. ¡°What the fuck even just happened?¡± ¡°I have no idea.¡± ¡°I¡¯m going to go into the bathroom to take a look at what changed to myself.¡± ¡°Sure, but before going I recommend putting some pants on,¡± Felicity said, turning to towards me with a grin on her face. I look down at myself just noticing that I have been walking around this entire time without any pants on, this causes me to start blushing, my cheeks flushing bright red. ¡°Excuse me.¡± I creep towards my pants that had fallen to the ground and pull them back on, they get stuck when it gets to the tail, so I held them there, then moving stealthily towards the door into the house, after a few seconds I dashed the rest of the way, opening the door and rushing towards the bathroom. Once I entered the bathroom, I flicked the light on and shut the door behind me, locking it. I walked towards the mirror while stripping my clothes off. What I could see reflected surprised me. I saw a girl about 5''8, with full lips, high cheekbones, a small dainty nose, big wide eyes bright blue in colour, wavy golden blonde hair that came down to her waist, breasts that were large and firm, thin waist and wide hips, and atop her head were long, fluffy fox ears with golden blond hair on them and the tip of the ear is white, much the same as the girls tail that was wagging behind her. I stared back at myself entranced by what I was seeing, and it was then I noticed that world no longer seemed dim, lacking colour. It was now full of colour, and the sense of detachment I had held towards everything was gone. Everything felt real, full of colour, as I stood there staring at the girl in the mirror with tears running down her face, I realised I was happy with these new changes. I turned around and walked back to my clothes strewn across the floor and put them on the pants were loose still, so I pushed the tail into the back of them, they seemed to hold there, but it felt uncomfortable but it was all I could do for the moment and preceded to walk back outside to my friends. When I walked over, I could see Sonia was already awake and talking to Felicity, and the rest of the group were stirring as well. "Are you ok, Sonia?" Sonia turned towards me and a look of shock set on her face. "Holy shit! Is that you, Bowen! What do I call you now, you¡¯re so pretty!¡± ¡°Calm down Sonia, let me think first and how about we start helping the others up before getting to that.¡± ¡°Ok then let¡¯s do that!¡± She rushes off to Jakob to assist him standing with his new lower horse half. I look towards Felicity, and she shrugs her shoulders and goes to help them. I turned to look at everyone else to see they are all starting to wake. I turn away to look back to the river to think about what Sonia asked me, these changes are likely permanent. I stand thinking about what my new name should be. I remember a conversation I had with my mum several years ago. I think nearly every kid at some stage ask their parents what name they would''ve had, had they been born the opposite sex. She and dad had picked the name, Britney if I was born a girl. I like that name, from now I will be Britney Lee. Name changing in progress. Name change accepted. Name changed to Britney Lee. Updating status. ¡°Who said that!¡± I shouted. I spun around, looking to see who said that seeing no one near me. ¡°You ok Bowen?¡± I turned around to see Sonia looking at me. ¡°I heard someone speak in my head.¡± ¡°What did it say?¡± Sonia asked, staring at me curiously. ¡°It said my name change to Britney was accepted and it was updating status.¡± ¡°Ahhhh!
