    The battle is now known as the Legendary Last Stand For Estrita. Makar known as the Legendary Bringer Of Death, is now used to scare children to sleep and used as a scary story for adventurers. Each major race engraved this day into their souls, for it was the day that decided everyones fate. Lucky for them it was the end of the long hardship they had to endure. The whole world celebrated for weeks and mourned for the deaths of their heroes.


    They built a grand city for all major races to live peacefully in, upon the gounds of where the battle took place because of the crazy amount of high level energy was everywhere. Useful to help strengthen their mana cores, body and minds. Which cause a faster rate of leveling up. Also because of the crazy amount of high level energy, crops were a lot more easier to plant, especially the Elemental plants used to create mana potions and more.


    Of course they didn''t forget to gather the fallen heros and buried them with the highest honors possible. They also built statues of the Kings/Queens who sacrifaced their lives for their kindoms in middle of the City which is now called Last Stand City. The City Of Heroes.

While Kingdoms developed further strengthening both their economy and military, butthe one to develop the most was Last Stand City. Which became the HQ for the united major races.


    They further added an Acedemy called Major 7 Acedemy, filled with all the major races and other different ones like lizardmen and more. The Acedemy became the number one Acedemy in the world for having the best teachers and resources to provide their students. They also became very crowded so they expanded it, which now can accommodate 80,000 students and 30,000 teachers. Because there''s so many people for a acedemy, they made security top priority.


    But even now thousands are desperately trying to join the Major 7 Acedemy. The school has first years up to third years. And once they graduate they either become soldiers or adventurers.

    Lurking inside the core of the forest are monsters that can give even Deity Rank a hard time.


    Inside in the core of the forest, a camp fire is set up blazing, with a massive monster leg rotating on top of the camp fire.


    There a giant humanoid with silver hair is seen sitting down eating a piece of meat, what was eye catching about this humanoid was his upper body is completely exposed. Showing off his mucluar and wide back, with a few scars.


    But the most eye catching is the exposed Demonic tattoo on his back.

 1. Lone wolf has lonely days.

    Inside the core of Black Death Forest in middle of the night. Monsters and beasts that can easily toy with Deity Ranked masters can be heard howling, fighting and running throughout the dense forest.


    A camp fire set blazing in the core of the forest, there sat Makar under the moonlight not one bit fazed or frightened by the monsters or beasts nearby. No, it was the opposite, all the monsters and beasts knew not to mess with the king of the forest. So they always keep a clear distance away from him.


    In fact there''s two kings of Black Death Forest, which always led them fighting every now and then for hundreds of years. Makar and the Abyssling Drake Emperor, who was the only ruler of the forest until Makar arrived. The saying goes "One mountain cannot contain two tigers."


    This was no ordinary drake, no. Abyssling Drake Emperor, being the only one of his kind. 100x bigger than any living dragon or creature putting them into shame. 100x more strength and mana power, other worldly mana control and mastery of magic.

Long smooth silver white hair reaching his back, refined bulging muscles earned through harsh training, aura that was onced that of a Death God, now evolved into a Divine God Of Destruction. A Divine God Of Destruction is a destroyer of worlds, who releases a divine aura making it seem like it was the right thing to do. Finally his demonic tattoo on his back evolved into a dark sinister smiling devil, releasing immense amount of bloodlust(If he doesn''t suppress it).


    His aura and his tattoo combined screams out death and destruction.

    ''Here I am sitting down bored just like any other day..'' I thought complaining while sitting on a log staring at the campfire.


    ''I wake up, eat, fight with that annoying overgrown lizard that just won''t leave me alone, even though I always let him live! he just screams "Mortal you are lucky today! I will be back!" and then runs off! *Tch* Shameless..''


    "arrgh.." I groaned with annoyance, while accidently releasing a bit of my aura scaring the nearby monsters and beasts.


    ''Maybe, I should finally kill him! wait.. but he''s the only friend I have.. well, only I consider him a friend because he''s the only company I have here. Even though he tries to kill me everytime. But that still counts as a friend!''


    *Sigh* I sighed deeply.


    ''Mann.. If only the younger me didn''t listen to those sweet words, I wouldn''t be hiding from the world in the first place.. and I wouldn''t have killed all thos-''


    I stopped there, feeling a wave of bloodlust about to explode inside me I quickly meditated cooling myself down which only lasted for a second, instantly feelings of regret and guilt start surging out because of my past decisions and actions that costed the lives of billions, ruined families, parents, children and more all killed by me. Innocent blood stained my hands that also painted my soul blood red.


    I gulped painfully.


    Memories of their painful screams and blood splattered everywhere start to resurface. I start sweating like crazy, I hold my head trying to comfort myself saying it wasn''t me repeatedly inside my head. Which also didn''t work.


    "Arrrgghh!" I shouted angrily while releasing some bloodlust, which resulted blowing away most of the trees near me while creatures ran for their lives. Golden divine flames emitted all over my body, causing the ground to start melting because of the intense heat. Then I stood up and shot striaght towards the sky, leaving a massive crater as big as a stadium on the ground.


    I flew as fast as lightning leaving a trail of golden flames mixed with lightning, then stopped in mid air floating. Now thinking of when will I be able to free myself from this curse of a tattoo. That always leads into trouble and despair not just for me but for everyone else. A curse that is also a blessing, giving me extrodinary strength and power, while also delivering the Devil into my soul to fight against.


    Fortunately the last battle injured the Devil which is now in deep slumber to heal his injuries, for how long? I am not too sure. But I pray it''s forever.


    I sighed deeply. Still feeling sweaty and uncomfortable.


    To change my mood I turn my head and gaze up towards the beautiful night sky exposing the vast shining stars.


    *Sigh*


    After a few minutes of watching the peaceful and beautiful clear night sky, I finally cooled down. I always do this to calm me down, which always works.


    Then I slowly decsended down onto the ground, while I used Earth Magic to fill up the crater.     ''Time to sleep, tomorrow is a new.. no, another boring day actually'' I groaned.


    Anyways, I was feeling tired so I laid down, closed my eyes and went to sleep.

    I woke up early the next day clearly hungry so I decided to go hunt, after a few moments of walking around I found my prey. I suppressed my aura while I stealthly apporached a pack of 6 Infernal Blood Wolf.


    Red flaming fur that can burn even the strongest armor, 4 times bigger than a wolf, razor sharp teeth made to kill and big sharp claws ready to slash anytime. Speed as fast as the wind and strength close to an ogre. Infernal Blood Wolf aren''t at the top of the food chain but they always roam around in a pack, that''s why they are Dragon Ranked. They control hell flames which can burn a Dragon Rank leaving nothing behind, they also can control the temperature which they only do for a nasty reason.


    These wolves are nasty little turds, they like to torture their prey by burning them alive slowly while cutting a wound open slowly watching their prey bleed and burn to death, they''re quite fucked up but tasty if you ask me.


    Anyways as I slowly approached closer I can see them eating a slightly burnt Black Orc, a lot stronger than their counterparts but are no match against a single Infernal Blood Wolf. No need to question a pack.


    I slowly walked towards the group of feasting wolves and unsuppressed my aura, which they immediately noticed me completely afraid while trying to flee. Unfortunately for them their fates were already sealed.


    Before they could even turn and flee I casted Time Magic "Frozen Time" freezing time in their area. Which resulted in 6 Infernal Blood Wolves frozen in time like mannequins.


    I grined sinisterly, while slowly making my way to them.


    I can tell from how fast and loud their hearts are beating that they were crapping themselves. But never mind them I''m still hungry.


    Standing infront of the biggest one, noticeably their leader, I crouched down facing him while I stared directly into his eyes, which he in return stared back into mine.


    *Grin*


    Fear is what I could see while it was begging for mercy with his eyes. I ignored his plea of mercy and decided to talk to him telepathically.


    {Answer this truthfully and I will release you, what colour are your balls?} I asked with mockery.


    I can see the leader was utterly shocked, but bravely replied back.


    {B-blue!?} It quickly replied panicked, but soon realised it was too late.


    *Slice* I covered my hand in pure condensed mana, then swiftly chopped his head off.


    ''Blue!? dafuq, is he colour blind obviously his skin and fur are flaming red!'' I thought while pitying the poor idiot.


    Afterwards I released it from my time freeze magic, which caused a big thud when it fell onto the ground however instantly I consumed it into my Dimensional Storage.


    Upon seeing my actions, the remaining wolves were terrified but unfortunately couldn''t move an inch. All begging for mercy which I obviously ignored.


    I continued this for a while asking different random questions to each wolf. If it was wrong, dead. If it was correct, dead. In the end I had all 6 in my Dimensional Storage. If you think I''m a savage, well I''m not. I just wanted them to have a taste of their own medicine. Also don''t forget this is a world where the strong ruled, while the weak obeyed.

    I walking making my way towards my camp while humming a happy tune, I was obviously delighted that I was about to eat some delicious Infernal Blood Wolf meat. With a bit of salt and spices.. Hmm delicious!


    Oh crap, I can feel myself drooling so I quickly wiped it away.


    Because I chose to walk back it took a while, but soon I saw my campfire and was feeling super excited to eat.


    *TREMBLE*


    Just as I was close to my campfire, a tremble sounded which I turned to look at my stomacht but instantly the ground shook uncontrollably.


    I frowned and quickly turned towards the source of sound, there in the distance I saw a group of 100m tall White Furred Kongs(all Celestial Master Rank), hastily charging towards me or running away from something. Surely enough just behind them I see the overgrown lizard(Abyssling Emperor Drake) charging right behind them shouting.


    Well no need to wonder what he planning because I already knew what this idiot was planning to do. A gangbang..


    I got slightly, no I''m actually angry right now, after 10kms of walking just to make the taste worth while, I now have to handle this.. Not that it was difficult, but just annoying really.


    I sighed heavily deep in thought of what sort of punishment should I give the overgrown lizard. Obviously I wouldn''t kill him, because I''ve known this lizard for hundreds of years. He''s pretty much my only entertainment.


    During me still trying to process a suitable punishment for the overgrown lizard, the angry mob was quickly approaching.


    I release some of my power and charge towards them, instantly teleporting infront of the leader of the White Furred Kongs nose(who was a lot bigger than the rest).


    *BOOM!* I send one punch covered with mana towards his nostrils, which resulted in the leaders head getting bashed in splattering his brains out into the air. This all happened in 2 seconds.


    Instantly without stopping I send a barrage of punches towards the others, which results in them following their leaders footsteps, also getting their brains splattered everywhere. All of that in a total of 3 seconds.


    Because I was still floating while covered in blood, I turn my gaze filled with killing intent upon the overgrown lizard.


    The overgrown lizard who was still charging viguriously instantly frozen in his tracks upon meeting my gaze, while realising his little gangbang attempt failed miserably. Buckets of sweat running down his face, for he knows during hundreds years of rivalry involving close quarter combat and long distance magic battles he has never won.


    He smiled awkwardly.


    "W-well d-done in passing my trail m-mortal, y-you human always seem t-to amaze me haha.." He laughed awkwardly thinking I was some sort of idiot. With that level of acting skills even babies would boo while throwing their feces at the actor.


    In the end I just couldn''t give two shits about this little incident.


    "Run, before I change my mind." I said with a hint of anger still releasing my bloodlust.


    Upon realising I let him free again while being mad, without a second he hastily dashed away into the distance while shouting "I let you win today! Wait till I come back!" while laughing like a madman.


    I couldn''t help but laugh at his little tricks, he always refeshes my mind and doesn''t make me feel so lonely. I know he just wants to kill me but I get the feeling he''s always looking out for me.


    And how the heck did he get the White Furred Kongs to join him on his gangbang attempt? Those guys have the same amount of pride as him... Meh.


    After sorting that out I quickly started my fire with the help of magic, and started cooking the Infernal Blood Wolf meat into the pot mixed with different kinds of ingredients to make the perfect stew. Infernal Blood Wolf Stew.


    After the cooking was done I quickly pulled out my bowl and spoon then pour some stew into my bowl, after that I devoured my first bowl. Shocked that it was so delicious I threw my bowl n spool away and devoured the rest inside the pot. I was surprised becasuse I''m really bad at cooking, using I cook like I''m experimenting to find the perfect abomination of food.


    *Burrp*


    "Aahh.." because it was so delicious I couldn''t help but burp while lying down. Right now it''s night time so I stared into the night sky just admiring the beautiful stars.


    A few moments later I was fast asleep.


    In the morning I stretched cracking a few bones which was pleasurable to me.


    Then sat down on the hard soil. Just deep in thought.


    ''Hah.. maybe I should just adventure out of the forest, it''s pasted hundreds of years when that event ended.''


    Little did Makar know was that during the hundreds of years of peace, the outside world had no more Celestial Rank master or higher. Not only because of peace but the main reason was that Makar killed them all during last war. They only had a few Dragon Emperor Rank that can only be counted on one hand, but the rest of the world were ranks below.


    Soon I decided just to stay here for another hundreds of years. And the next few days went on as usual, boring.


    Until that fateful day.


    I was starting to head back to camp with my game for today hanging on my shoulder, a gigantic brown furred bear called Goliath Bear. Who was a decently strong beast not only because it was a Dragon Master Rank but for it''s ability to manipulate Earth Magic to a pretty high degree.


    While I was thinking happy thoughts about my feast tonight, I instantly stopped turing my head into a certain way dropping my prey onto the ground.

    I start to pick up a certain mixture of smell in the air so I sniffed a huge of amount, after doing so I was utterly shocked, it was a mixture of bloods. Not just blood from a monster or beast, but a humans blood as well and not just one scent but many..


    A battle?!


    I hastily process where the source is from then found out it was inside the entrance of Black Death Forest.


    I widened my eyes in surprise!


    Humans in Black Death Forest!?


    Without wasting another second.


    I immediately teleported there.

 2. The Fated Encounter

    In front of the entrance of Black Death Forest an army camp of thousands is set up with tents all standing tall while in rows of a neat orderly fashion. smoke rising up into the sky because of the numerous campfires. Flags flapping on the sides of each tent with a logo of a golden roaring lion. This was the royal army of the human kingdom Buthrium.


    Tall wooden walls made of logs surrounding the camp is set up to act as protection, not as sturdy, but it was most quickest and efficient ones to make. Watch towers behind the walls with soldiers wearing full sets of bulky silver armour, walking around not forgetting to scan every area in detail in case of intruders. You can tell at first glance that these soldiers are well trained.


    In middle of the army camp a magnificent tent made of precious materials stood tall and proud looking down on all the other tents. Inside numerous of men wearing different kinds of armour but all of the same colour silver, while all giving off a variety of auras gained through seasons of war. These were veterans of war and generals of the army. In the middle two were in a heated arguement.


    "We need to go back now, do you know where we are? We''re sitting right infront of the world''s most dangerous place. Black Death Forest!" Roared A tall brown haired old general with a scar on his face.


    Some people in the crowd agreed nodding.


    "Ha! You fool, don''t make me laugh. You''re just afraid of gaining another scar. " Scoffed an old black haired short general.


    Most people in the crowd laughed with the old general, causing the scar faced general to frown.


    The scar faced general stared disdanfully at the general.


    "Your the fool for thinking we can take over Black Death Forest! Just because one scout made it alive, doesn''t mean we all can!"


    "Haha! You fool if he can make then we can, for it was us who trained him!"


    Upon hearing this, others looked proud while straightening their backs.


    ''What a bunch of idiots!'' thought the scar faced general angrily. He was still thinking of ways to persuade them, until he remembered a valid reason why not to enter the forest.


    "And how would we handle the king of the forest?" He asked with mockery.


    The short general instantly paled, while the others choked and whistled looking away. But the general slowly regained confidence.


    "H-haha! that is nothing but a overgrown liza--"


    "Enough!" Interrupted a man sitting on a golden throne behind the two generals.


    A beautiful young man with long blonde hair, handsome face, white armour and along with a beautiful long sword with engravings on it lying on his lap. This was none other than the 1st Prince of Buthrium, Prince Leon. A strong prince with SS Rank, so he was decently strong.


    The two generals(Dragon Master Ranked) realised their mistakes so they tried to apologize, but were stopped with the hand of Leon.


    "No more talking about that crappy lizard! I came for the mana crystals in this forest, and I know for damn sure I will get them. Now shut up and get ready to march." He shouted with a stern expression. Then he stood up to leave, everyone knew he was afraid of Abyssling Emperor Drake, like everyone else, but they ignored it. They silently saluted while Leon made his way out, including the two generals.


    ''Greedy lizard.. keeping all those mana crystals to himself!'' Leon angrily thought while leaving the tent.


    The only reason why the scout made it alive was because the lizard went to fight Makar at that time.


    Once Leon left everyone sprang into action, for the words of their Prince is not to be taken lightly.


    Immediately loud sounds of horns sounded throughout the camp informing every soldier and others to get ready to move out.


    But inside the massive tent, there was two people left standing face to face. It was the two old generals who are both Dukes of Buthrium. Duke Collum with brown hair(Dragon Master Rank) and Duke Wallrick with black hair(Dragon Master Rank).


    They stared into each others soul for a minute or two, while sparks clashing from both of them, until Duke Wallrick walked to Duke Collums ear softly whispering.


    "You better watch your back in the forest, for this might be your last scar.." Then laughed his way out.


    Duke Collum had a relaxed expression for he was used to theses death threats coming from Wallrick. But today he was uneasy because if he was to die so be it, but he can''t let his only daughter who persistenly followed him into this dangerous mission. For her curiousity was always getting the best of her.


    ''I need to go and see her and hopefully persuade her to change her mind. If not I will for the first time in my life, force her.'' Collum thought, determination filled his eyes as he also left the tent.


    Collum was against the idea of storming through the Black Death Forest because he knew from experience the dangers that were lurking inside, or even more powerful creatures still in hiding. If they went through a massacre will happen so he tried to persuade everyone, but hardly anyone was on his side. Greed for untold riches controlled everyone, including the Prince.


    *Sigh* Collum sighed then went to find his daughter.


    But what he and the others didn''t know was that deep into the forest, two beings wearing dark cloaks with bat like wings sprouting out on their backs, with a certain demon symbol on their cloaks. Were watching their every movements smiling sinisterly. Then they slowly faded away into darkness.


    Duke Collum made his way through crowds of soldiers rushing from place to place, who didn''t forget to salute Collum, so he did in return. A few moments later he found the group he was looking for. People lifting large pots, pans, knives, spoons and more into the horse driven carriage. They were the royal armies cooking team, who had a mixture of young men and women. In the group a beautiful woman stood out like a sore thumb, she was none other then his only daughter, Sky Collum. She is seen cheerfully smiling while helping with the heavy lifting.


    A high noble in the kingdom of Buthrium but she never liked the arrogant ways of the nobles, just like her father. Unlike most nobles who can''t stand of getting the tiniest bit of dirt onto themselves, she liked getting her hands dirty and in her childhood she liked playing around with other commoner kids. Which gave her some hateful gazes from the other noble children, however she didn''t give two shits about it.


    Brown hair with blonde highlights, 5''8, beauty that even surpasses elves, clear blue eyes, hour glass figure with perfect curves making her very seductive. Even though a lot of nobles have asked her hand for marriage, she cold heartily declined all of them, a reason she gave them was that she was going to study in Major 7 Acedemy soon because she recently became of age(18). She was eager to join but was forced to wait until they held the next entrance exams in 4 months time, she didn''t mind the wait. But she knew that after she graduates, she will be forced into marriage.


    She was persistent on following her father because she loves experiencing new things and if lucky enough to find ruins, she can find new magic or forgotten magic and among other things. But her real reason as to why she was so persistent to come, was because of a rumor she heard of Makar, yes Marker the Legendary Bringer Of Death.


    When she was in the royal palace paitently waiting for her father to finish his audience with the king, she overheard two court mages(both Dragon Rank) talking about the Guardian sage of Buthrium(Dragon Emperor Rank) saying that Makar was still alive and is inside the Black Death Forest. As how she knew was because of her special ability to see visions of the future and in one her visions she saw the God Of Death himself walking out of the Black Death Forest, smiling.


    Which scared the living soul of the Guardian and others.


    Sky was utterly shocked because the Guardian Sage Of Buthrium would never tell lies especially about her visions, which helped prevent famines, diseases and more.


    Sky was also overjoyed not because she could finally meet the worlds most feared being, but overjoyed to meet the worlds strongest. Sky knew that if she doesn''t want to get married off, she will have to be strong(She''s D rank btw). She''s tried hiring a few tutors to teach her but all of them couldn''t get her to rank up. She firmly believes that she only rank up if she got the best teacher in the world, thus here she is now.


    Sky upon seeing her father, sky dropped the objects and ran straight into her father hugging him. For she was thankful for bringing her along.

    They hugged for a few more mintues until they continued to pack up like everyone else.


    Soon the royal army marched into the the entrance of the Black Death Forest, upon entering the creepy and dark dense forest. Everyone felt like they were all being watched. For they were right, because after walking for a few miles.

    Upon hearing the faintest sound, Leon at the very front leading the army like a true leader, signalled to halt.

    Which they all did. But once they did the ground started to shake, then they could hear screams of laughter and war cries getting louder from all sides.

    They shouted in unison while shield bearers skillfully excuted the command, all forming a circular wall around the archers, spearmen, mages and non-combatants placing them in the middle of their protective circle. Protecting them from the incoming charge of the enemies.


    Soon the mad screams and laughter got closer and closer, until they could finally see thousands uopn thousands of Black Orcs(SS ranked) with their long swords and spears, Blood Red Goblins(A ranked) running madly laughing with little daggers and knives, and lastly the cause of their despair! One Horned Ogres(SSS ranked). Giant ogres with one massive horn on their forehead, harden skin that looks like iron with bulging muscles making it hard to penetrate. Destructive power and amazing regeneration ability, which is what makes them harder to kill. They are a lot stronger than their counterparts.


    Upon seeing the size of the army and what they were up against, despair rushed through them all!


    Collum realising that this spelled trouble, quickly turned his head looking towards the middle of the formation. There he saw his beautiful daughter shaking uncontrollably, but with sheer will power she was standing bravely. While most of the others were overwhelmed with fear causing them to collapse on the ground, while yellowish liquid covered their pants.


    Collum gritted his teeth because morale was dangerously low, and he has someone so dear to him that he can''t afford to lose.


    Sky who caught the gaze of her father tried to appear unshakened, however it was impossible with of the amount of bloodlust generated from the monsters.


    Collum released his full might, bright flames engulfing his entire body.


    "ARRRRGGHH!! COME ON!!" He roared, shaking the ground which made some goblins and orcs lose balance. Immediately charging out.


    *WOOSSHH*


    Collum instantly approached a fast-approaching ogre, but the ogre was already prepared and ready to strike!


    "ARRH-- Ou?"


    Before the ogre could attack Collum, it realised his hands were chopped off, while the tips were burnt blocking any recovery to happen.


    Collum took this time to perfectly jump on the ogres head then he swiftly shot fire balls into it''s eyes, burning his eyes out.


    "Arrrgghh!" The Ogre screamed painfully but it was too late, for it''s head instantly fell afterwards.


    *Thud*


    Collum didn''t stop there, instantly he swiftly jumped off the shoulders of the now headless ogre, high into the air while quickly summoning massive condensed fire balls. Then launched it into the oncoming waves of monsters.


    *WHOOOSSH*

    Huge explosions erupted in different areas which sent countless of monsters blown to pieces, while some burned to death.


    Collum then landed onto ground looking back onto the army, while huge pillars of flames erupted behind him.


    "For the King!!" He roared passionately.


    When Leon and the royal army saw this, morale sky rocketed. They realised that they had two Dragon Master Ranked with them and saw hope. So they regained their composure and Leon continued leading again.


    "Archers and Mages, Fire!!" He shouted loudly causing spit to fly everywhere.


    Archers regained their confidence and started releasing volleys of magic arrows. Mages quickly casting all kinds of powerful spells onto the oncoming monsters.


    *BOOM*


    "Argh!"


    "Huuk!"


    "Sccreekk!"


    Screams filled with pain echoed which lead to a lot of monsters dying. Some burnt to death, arrows struck on their heads, some frozen and broken to pieces, see through holes on their bodies with remaining electricity still running throughout their bodies, and more.


    The monsters were decreasing rapidly, but there were a lot more who were still charging.


    Wallrick who was stunned before, quickly regained focus when he saw Collum charing out by himself like an idiot. He couldn''t help but get his blood boiling!


    "HAHAHA if I die, I''m taking down more kills than you Collum! hahaha!" He shouted madly while releasing his full power, blue flames emitting all over his body. Showcasing he was also a Dragon Master Rank. Wallrick immediately casted one of his powerful spells ''Water Dragon Breath''.


    100m tall and wide tsunami charged towards the on coming monsters, sweeping them away. Collum was a bit stunned upon witnessing the scene, while Wallrick had a proud expression.


    "Hahaha! We''ll see about that!" laughed Collum while immediately charing out again. Killing goblins, orcs and a few Ogres in a flash.


    Wallrick grinned and followed after Collum. ''Crazy fool haha'' Wallrick thought while fighting alongside Collum, causing a lot of destruction onto the monsters. But unforunately they were rapidly losing large amounts of mana.


    They were rivals but right now the situation didn''t call for that, for their peoples survival came first. But for Collum, it was for his precious daughter Sky.


    When Sky saw her father charging out she feared the worse, but unfortunately she forgot her father was a battle maniac. She sighed with a bit of relief. Then proceding to cast her light magic, which was really weak. Only causing some monsters to go blink for a few seconds. Instantly arrows flew onto them, killing them.


    While the numbers of the monsters decreased slowly, there were still numerous more still charging crazily, which didn''t take long for them to reach the shield walls of Buthrium.


    Leon upon seeing them approaching rapidly towards the shield wall, he roared.


    "BRACE YOURSELVES!!"

    Loud heavy impact echoed, while soldiers received the hard impact with pained grunts resulting them to move back a few steps. But instantly spearmen behind the shield wall thrusted their long spears onto the monsters throats or body.

    Blood of the monsters stained their faces and shields, but they continued fighting back. If shield bearer fell another came to replace them. They were well trained and disciplined.


    The soldiers repeated the process for a while, until the Ogres showed up.


    The soldiers could stop a Bood Shot Goblins and Black Orcs charge, but not a One Horned Ogre!


    Massive One Horned Ogres madly charged while swinging their massive clubs onto the shield walls.

    Numerous amounts of soldiers were flown away which resulted in a hole appearing in the formation, but swiftly the remaining soldiers with the help of archers and mages targeted the Ogres, killing them. Then they filled up the holes to defend again.


    The process repeated for many times while men and monsters died.


    Leon noticing a lot of soldiers were dying, issued a new order.


    "Arches and mages assist our Sir Dukes with killing the Ogres!!" He shouted.


    ""Yes Sir"" they responded, immediately shifting their focus on the ogres, who were duking it out with their dukes. With the combined attacks of magic arrows and mage spells, while having to face two blood driven generals. The ogres were falling quickly.


    During the archers and mages shifted their targets, the shield wall was crawling with monsters, but it never fell because the shield bearers held strong while the spearmen worked hard in pushing them back. Perfect teamwork.


    Throughout the fight both sides lost a large amount of lives.


    Blood covered the once green grass, bits and pieces of bones laying around, numerous lifeless corpse scattered everywhere, non-combatants inside the formation were crying while some puked and passed out. Leon fighting while shouting out orders endlessly, both dukes slashing and dicing with theirs swords while casting magic. Waves upon waves of monsters endlessly pouring, but they still bravely fought for survival.It was a hard and long fight, even though they were outnumbered 10-2, the Buthrium shield wall endured persistenly. keeping most the people inside safe.


    After 2 long hours of a nonstop bloody battle, the Buthrium Kingdom came out on top with a close victory.


    Losingthousands of their soldiers, resulting in one third of the royal army surviving, with most of the non-combatants surviving, including Leon with messy hair and tattered armour covered in blood. Collum and Wallrick both lying down on their mountain of corpses, desperately catching air also with a few deep wounds and bruises. Sky who just tasted her first battle was spacing out, still trying process what just happened.


    She looked around the battlefield filled with blood and bones, people moaning with half of their bodies intac, some soldiers who she recognised and young girls she recently befriend in the cooking squad, now covered with blood and guts sticking out.


    Tears started flowing out of her eyes but she tried hard not cry, but in the end she cried.


    Collum who ran out of mana during one hour had to use the old fists. Once he heared his daughters cry he immediately went to her, hugging her softly. Sky feeling her fathers warmth, hugged her father tightly while sobbing away.


    "You did good Sky, you did good." Said Collum in a quiet voice while rubbing Skys back.


    "F-father.. all these people fought bravely..*Hic* "


    "Your right.. these were brave men and women who fought for their kingdom.." Collum said in a proud voice.


    "F-father, c-can we go home now.. please.." Cried Sky while tightening her hug.


    "Don''t worry Sky, we''re most definitely going home now." Collum replied, while searching for Leon. A few seconds later he saw him sitting down a rock, telling a soldier to report back on what happened here, who then got on a horse and rode out. Afterwards Leon caught Collums heartfelt gaze, Leon understood what he was trying say to him. Leon nodded in response and stood up.


    "Brave soldiers of Buthrium, we have fought bravely today for our kingdom, while losing many of our comrades. But! we won''t forget their honorable sacrifices today! We will not make their deaths in vain. So! we will return, for that is what they would have wanted us to do!" Leon shouted with passion.

    Wallrick and Collum were struck with fear while sweating crazily.


    Just when the battle finished another enemy appeared. This time much more powerful.


    Two cloaked beings appeared out of the port, flying above the army with their bat like wings facing the group. Dark red auras were raging throughout their bodies. Upon closer inspection two curved horns were sticking out of their foreheads.


    ''D-demons! I thought they lived in the Dark Realm!'' Collum frightenly thought. Holding Sky tighter than before.


    ''D-demons.. they''ve been banished to the dark realms thousands of years ago, what are they doing here!?'' Wallrick thought crapping himself.


    Everyone was shocked with fear noticing that they were demons. For they were notorious for being cold hearted killers, finding pleasure in killing their victims as slowly and painfully as possible.


    The taller demon was glaring at Collum and Wallrick as if they killed his whole family. Which they pretty much did, because he was the one that ordered the monster wave. The shorter one was staring at Sky while licking his lips. This made Sky very scared and uncomfortable, resulting in her hugging her father tightly.


    Collum was enraged noticing the shorter demon was staring at Sky with lust, he couldn''t help but release huge amounts of bloodlust.


    But the short demon noticed him.


    "Haha! puny human, you dare think you can fight me?" Said the shorter demon disdainfully, while he immediately casted magic, strangling Collum as he''s pulled into the air.


    "Auuukk!" Collum choked painfully.


    The others watching this scene were frightened including Leon and Wallrick, for they knew that if they moved now Collum would be killed along with everyone else. Even if they combined all their powers together, they would still lose. They stood there gritting their teeths while clutching their fists tight. They felt useless and weak.


    But Sky was feeling despair.


    Dispair struck her soul as she''s witnessingher father being strangled in the air. Who she has always seen look so strong.


    She screamed begging for it to stop.


    "Stop! please stop!" She desperately shouted tears flooding down her beautiful face.


    "Hahaha! And what will you do to make me stop?" The shorter demon asked amusingly, while licking his lips.


    The taller demon was at first confused why his partner was doing this, but upon realising his partners intentions he also started licking his lips. Then he inspected Sky''s body, now also wanting a taste.


    Sky knew what the demon wanted but was determined to give it away if it meant saving her dear fathers life.


    ''Just because he takes my first time, won''t mean he is my first love!'' She thought trying her best to steel her heart before she agrees.


    She fell onto her knees facing the ground crying while softly mumbling.


    "I-I will do it.."


    "NOO!-- HHEEEKK!!" Collum tried to rush towards the demon, but with a wave of a hand, the strangling intensified. Inflicting more pain to Collum. But Collum didn''t care, his eyes mad like a raging bull while desperately trying to charge.


    The others also wanted to do something, especially Leon for he had a crush on Sky for many years, but soon changed his mind when he realised the massive difference in power. He was ashamed and furious.


    Wallrick looked at the demon with pure hatred, he''s known Sky ever since she was a new born. For that was the time when Collum stopped his ambitions, which he tried to presuade him not too, but he declined saying he''s got a little girl to look after now. He''s even sent birthday gifts to her every year on her birthday, it was books of adventures and history books telling her of ruined temples and more, Sky loved his gifts which always warms his heart. She was also a special person to his heart, basically a niece to him that he would fight the whole to protect.


    Hatred and rage spread throughout Wallricks heart, while mentally forming a plan.


    ''Wait for the bastard to try and touch her, then I strike hard. Even if it kills me! I will do it!'' Wallrick prepared in his mind, while blood flowed through his hands.

    Collum was infuriated desperately struggling even more.


    The others cursed in their hearts, swearing to kill these disgusting bastards if they had the power.


    ''For my father..'' Sky made up her mind while a single tear fell down hitting the ground, took a deep breath and replied.

    Makar appeared instantly behind the shorter demon, he was furious because of the wicked scene he witnessed upon arriving.

    The hardest slap echoed throughout the forest, causing people to block their ears, while many monsters and beasts near by ran for their lives. For they knew destruction has arrived.

    Blood splattered into the air caused by Makars slap. He slapped him as if he would to a fly, he looked calm but his eyes filled with wrath betrayed him.


    "Trash" Makar said in a cold tone.


    The short demon now a headless corpse dropped heavy on the ground, causing a big thud. Collum who was released quickly ran towards the wide eyed Sky.


    "Sky! Are you okay!?" He asked while checking all over her body to see if there were any injuries. But Sky was just staring into Makar as if she''s seeing a god. Divine golden flames raging throughout his body like electricity, long white hair, halo above his head, beauty surpassing all races, 7''8, abyss like eyes and refined toned bulging muscles.


    ''T-this has to be him..'' She thought dazed. Everyone was shocked, wondering who the deity was and where he came from.


    Makar then turned around to face the the taller demon who was shaking uncontrollably, while frozen in spot from the pressure Makar was radiating.


    Oncehe turned around he exposed hisback, Sky and the company were horrified! For they saw a devilish tattoo.They instantly knew who the owner of that tattoo was, for it was passed down for generations. Even though it''s changed some bits, anyone can still guess just by the ominous pressure it was radiating. It was Makar, the Legendary Bringer Of Death! Murderer of billions, destroyer of families and with untamable wrath and destruction.


    People were unconciously stepping backwards causing most to stumble and fall. Some were petrified and couldn''t move an ich even if they so dearly wanted to, some fell while yellowish liquid covered their pants. The most pitiful ones were the ones who had horrible stenches coming from them.


    The taller demon realised the grave danger he was in, he paled and mentally regretted wasting time. He didn''t know who he was but he knew he was strong.


    ''T-this isn''t supposed to happen!!'' He frightenly thought, while Makar approached closer.


    Makarinstantly appeared infront of the demon and quickly jabbed him in the face. The demon couldn''t even see it coming for it was too fast!


    *PUKK!*

    The demon was sent flying for a while, only stopped when he crashed into a tree, causing the tree to fall on him.


    Wallrick, Leon, Collum and the company who saw this were stunned and all had one thought. ''He''s too strong!'' While Sky was silently watching Makars wide back and board shoulders, while she unconciously held her hands on her chest.


    ''It''s like he''s angry... for me.'' Sky thought with dreamy eyes. Feeling a buring sensation in her heart, she quickly held her chest tighter, not knowing why she was feeling this. Collum who saw his daughter acting like this had a question mark on top of his head.


    "Argh!" the demon screamed painfully laying on the ground with the tree on top of him, while covered in blood.


    "H-haha, you ca-cant be serious *COUGH* " The demon weakly groaned in pain, with blood flowing through it''s mouth. Then he immediately stood up pushing the tree off him.


    "ARRGH!!I DON''T KNOW WHERE YOU CAME FROM! BUT I''LL FIGHT YOU MONSTER!!" He roared loudly, he knew he might die. But he won''t die without a fight!


    Dark red aura ran crazily throughout it''s body, then he charged towards Makar instantly appearing infront of him, immediately he shot his fist condesed with mana towards Makar''s face. Meanwhile Makar stood there waiting for it.


    People screamed in horror while Collum covered Skys vision with his body, because he knew that was a deadly blow!


    *BOOOM!"


    The fist exploded upon impact, causing shockwaves throughtout the forest while a foggy mist appeared. People felt like their souls had left their bodies, thinking that Makar was done in.


    "N-no.. way"


    "W-we''re doom.."


    "Hahaha!!" The demon laughed sinisterly.


    ''He wasn''t so strong after all.'' The demon thought arrogantly.


    Until his fists were clutched tightly, causing him to scream in pain!


    "ARRRGGHH!!"


    He tried to retract his hand, but he saw Makars hand squeezing it more tightly causing his bones to shift out of place.


    "ARRRHHH!!" He screamed falling onto his knees, desperately using both hands to remove it. Once he realised he it wouldn''t budge he swore in his heart. But fortunately Makar left his face wide open and he saw it, with lightning speed movement he used his free hand to repeatedly punch Makar in the face.

    "I-Impossible!.."The demon was utterly shocked that Makar was just eating all his mana condesed punches like nothing, not even a scratch appeared!


    "Is that all you''ve got?" Makar asked in a calm voice, not one bit fazed.


    The demon who was on his knees glared into Makars eyes, cursing his luck. However, inside Makars abyss like eyes, he unexpectedly caught a hideous Devil staring into his soul laughing at him. His eyes wide open in horror, true fear took over the demons soul for the first time in his life.


    "N-NO! I-IMPOSSIBLE! YOU SHOULD BE DEAD!!" He madly screamed, causing Makar to frown.


    "What are you talking about? is it because your about to die." Makar questioned while getting closer into his face.


    "NOO!!! STAY BACCK!!" He screamed, launching out of Makars grip, ripping his arm in the process. The demon fell onto the ground then he started to desperately crawl away from Makar, with his torn arm leaving a bloody trail.


    "N-no no no.. t-the Emperor locked you away!! You should be de--"


    *THRUSTS*


    Before he could finish. Makar instantly stabbed his hand through the back of his head going through the other side, killing him.


    *RETRACT*


    *Thud*


    The demon dropped without uttering another sound.


    "Tch.. Don''t go crazy when your about to die, it''s pretty rude." Makar scoffed, then turned around to face Collum and the company. Who were frozen stiff upon seeing him kill two powerful demons as if it was breathing air for him.


    Makar scanned through all of them and saw the aftermath of their battle. A sea of corpses, both human and monster. Injuried people getting bandaged, soldiers moaning with missing limbs, passed out victims, bloodied men and women and two young girls dead on the ground.


    ''Stupid fools, why did they come here! When they''re so weak!'' Makar thought. Anger started to swell up inside his heart but he cooled himself down quickly.


    Then he turned his gaze towards the strongest person in their group, Collum. Who was guarding Sky, but when he noticed he was staring at them, he tighten his hug while cold sweat ran through his forehead. For he feared trouble would repeat itself.


    "Leave now, before I change my mind." Makar threatened in a deep and powerful voice. Collum shook uncontrollably, for even his words contained divine power!


    "Y-yes my lord.." Replied Collum with fear, while turning around and moitioning Sky to leave, who was reluctant.


    Collum turned his head and signalled Leon they needed to leave now, while they still can. Leon receiving the signal immediately got to work.


    "E-everyone please move out! NOW!" Leon couldn''t help but shake with fear and start walking off by himself. For he didn''t want to receive the wrath of a deity, who killed half the worlds population during the last war. All by himself!


    He wasn''t the only one, instantly Collum, soldiers and the others started to walk but after a minutes, it turned into a sprinting competition as if there was a prize for first place. However they weren''t the only ones to be madly dashing away, beside them were injured soldiers running as if they were fully healed. But the onebravely leading the chargewas none other than Wallrick, sprinting like theres no tomorrow!


    During the crazy sprinting contest, Collum stopped and realised he was missing someone, Sky.

    In the distance, Collum who didn''t hear what she said but saw Sky shouting towards Makar, despair fell upon him. He ran and stood infront of Sky, blocking her from Makar with both arms stretched out while releasing his aura.


    "Please don''t kill her! She''s just a young girl! Have mercy!" Collum begged. Face covered in sweat.


    Makar who was watching this scene had a massive headache.


    ''Arrggh.. Look at what you''ve done you stupid Devil!!'' He roared into his soul. Inside the Devil just laughed it off then went back to sleep.


    Makar would like extra company, but he just couldn''t do it when she was so afraid of him. It just broke his heart.


    *Ahem* Makar cleared his throat before he looked at them with a serious expression.


    "Look here woman, I don''t need company for I already have one. And you, extinguish your aura before I do it myself."


    Collum shook with fear and quickly extinguished his aura, while Sky looked very dispirited. But inside her mind she was thinking of ways to follow him.


    Makar seeing her look dispirited sighed and was ready to teleport.


    "Please become my teacher!!" Interrupted Sky.


    Collum almost died of a heart attack, meanwhile Makar was getting very annoyed.


    Makar sighed deeply before facing Sky again, this time a bit of anger showed on his face.


    "First of all, I don''t want to bring you because you have no use to me. Secon--"


    "I CAN COOK!!" Interrupted Sky again, immediately Collum blocked her mouth while begging for mercy.


    Makar ignored the old mans plea of mercy, for he had to confirm a serious matter.


    "Woman, what did you say?" He asked in a very serious tone. While motioning Collum to remove his hands.


    Collum hesitated but still released his hands and prayed for the best. Sky who could finally breath again coughed a few times, then with strong determination she stared into Makars abyss like eyes.


    "I-I can cook.." She replied with a shaky voice.


    Makars soul shook! He felt like the gods have finally answered his prayers, a blessing he''s needed during all those years of torture. But Makar didn''t show them he was greatly shocked. Instead he turned his gaze up towards the clear blue sky, as if he was thinking about it.


    "What''s your name?" Makar asked in a calm voice.


    Sky upon noticing the change in his voice saw hope.


    "My name is Sky." She replied while showing her enchanting smile.


    Makars heart shook! He felt like someone shot his heart with an arrow.


    ''Her name is Sky and she knows how to cook.. Is this a sign of the gods saying they forgive me?!'' Makar thought excited. Inside his soul, Makar was screaming like a fan girl while the Devil was shaking his head in pity, then it went back to sleep.


    Sky who is eagerly waiting for a reply was feeling nervous that he will decline. Fortunately, Makar stared at Sky then walked up to her, because he was a lot taller than her he had to look down. Which caused Sky be confused while blushing.


    "I want you to do something first" Makar said.


    A question mark appeared above Skys head.


    "Before I accept you, ask your father first." He said as he pointed towards Collum, who stood there depressed when he realised Sky was really trying to leave him. He knew he wasn''t the reason why, but he just couldn''t help but feel lonely.


    Sky who saw her father depressed, slowly walked up to him hugging him softly.


    "Father, I want to get stronger so I can control my own fate.." Sky said in a determined voice. Collum was in deep thought while rubbing her back slowly.


    "Sigh.. I know... And your mother would be so proud." Collum replied, finally decided to let her precious daughter go with Makar. He let her go because today he saw how helpless he was when the demons attacked, but he also witnessed Makar a living and breathing legend, defeat them like nothing. So he also wanted his daughter to become strong enough to defend herself. Plus the safest place on Estrita is with Makar.


    Sky was shocked while also happy. She tightened her hug and stayed like that for a few minutes. Makar who saw this heart warming scene, let them have their moment.


    Afterwards Sky said her final goodbye to her father, while Collum gave her a kiss on her forehead.


    Sky then walked back to Makar ready to leave.


    "Are you sure you really want to do this." Makar questioned, just in case she changes her mind.


    "Yes I am sure!" replied Skyenthusiasticly.


    "You do know I''m going to be strict right?"


    "Yes and I don''t mind. Because I want to be strong just like you, so I can help you like you did to me." She replied with red cheeks, clearly she was embarrassed. Fortunately Makar didn''t see it, but was just surprised from her words. But it also made his heart warm for some reason.


    "Interesting.. I''m looking forward to that day." He said, while showing a rare smile. The killer smile made Sky''s leg give out, but luckily Makar caught her while they slowly flew up in the air.


    "From now on we''re always together. Got it?"


    "Y-yes.. I promise." She quietily replied with heated face.


    "Sky! always listen to Master Makar okay!" Collum shouted while waving to his daughter who was floating up into the air, who sweetly smiled back with tears trailing down her face. Soon they were slowly being swallowed by light then disappeared.


    "I will wait for the day you return stronger." Collum mumbled while tears slid down his face. Then he turned around and left.

    Makar and Sky teleported into his camping spot. Sky was a bit dizzy but looked around her surroundings, only to have her breath taken.


    Sky gasped in amazement. She was now inside the core of Black Death Forest, a place no one in the 7 major races has ever been to. Sky felt like she was in a fairy tale for she could see colourful trees coming in all different sizes, massive lake beside them, green lushes grass, mana crystals lying around in every corner of the forest emitting bright colourful lights, little adorable furry animals which she knew were really strong because of the auras they were emitting. Sky sweated upon eye contact with a little horned rabbit, which bared it''s fangs against her. Fortunately once it saw Makar it quickly dashed away. Even though it was night time it was still a beautiful scenery.


    "Master you live here.. I''m very jealous." Sky said with a beautiful smile while her eyes were sparkling.


    Makar who saw her smiling so brightly couldn''t help but like her smile for some reason.


    "Well of course I do, this is the only place that accepted me." He replied in a lonely tone.


    "Oh.." Sky inwardly hit herself for bringing up such a topic for her master. Makar didn''t really care about it because he''s gained extra company, better yet a person who won''t try to kill him.


    (But later in the future he will realise how wrong he was.. Anyways.)


    After a few minutes of awkward silence, a thundering voice interrupted.


    "FILFY MORTAL! WE DIDN''T ACCEPT YOU!!" It was none other than the overgrown lizard.


    "Kyyaaa!" Sky was frightened when she heard a loud and powerful voice behind her. She immediately ran behind Makar for protection, holding onto his back without realising it herself.


    What entered her vision was a monster so massive that she had a hard time looking up. Sky was terrified when she saw this powerful behemoth, causing her jaw to drop.


    Makar who saw this couldn''t help but laugh a bit.


    "Don''t be afraid, that''s just a harmless lizard."


    "B-but isn''t that the Legendary Overg--"


    "HOW DARE YOU!!! I AM A PROUD ABYSSLING EMPEROR DRA--" Interrupted the lizard standing up while it held it''s head high, but was quickly ignored when he tried telling them his proud history.


    "Yeah, that''s the guardian of the forest, Don''t worry, he can''t do anything to you when I''m around." Makar said ignoring the lizard.


    Sky nodded then realised she was holding his back, immdeiately she backed off while blushing. She then pretend nothing happened and changed the topic.


    "W-woow.. I didn''t think I would get to live after meeting Black Death Forests guardian." replied Sky, she felt really special and thankful towards her new master. Who has showed her things no one else could. This caused her to feel a stronger burning sensation in her heart.


    "Thank you.. for accepting me Master..." Sky replied with gratefulness while blushing.


    "Hmm? Oh, no problem. But you need to sleep now, because tomorrow we''re going to start our training."


    "W-what?! Already... C-can we start the next day while I look around?"


    "Nope, we need to train hard if you want to be able to help me someday." He said while summoning a sleeping bag for Sky. Then went to sleep. Sky was disappointed but didn''t complain anymore, she snuggled up inside her sleeping bag which was one meter away from Makars, causing her to panic a little bit. Soon she got used to it.


    After a while in deep thought Sky felt like none of this was real. Makar the legendary bringer of death is her master! She is in the core of Black Death Forest, and she''s met the Guardian of Black Death Forest!


    Once she thought of the lizard she immediately looked into the place he stood before. There she could see it now lying down, staring into the night sky while still talking.


    "This one time these Frost Eagles stole my lunch, hateful bastards! I didn''t cry! A bug flew into my eyes!" It said with tears swelling in it''s eyes.


    Sky who''s curiousity couldn''t be contained wanted to know more about this place and the guardian of it. She sneakily got up and tiptoed towards the lizard. While sneaking out she made sure Makar was still asleep, which he was because he was snoring loudly.


    She reached the lizard and sat on a log beside it''s massive head, who was on the ground looking towards the stars. She was honestly afraid but she knew that she couldn''t be afraid forever. And the lizard was afraid of Makar, boosting her confidence ever more.


    "Guardian of the forest, can I ask you a question?"


    The lizard turned it''s massive eyes towards Sky who was beside him.


    "Your already asking one mortal."


    "Ohh.. U-um how long have you stayed inside this forest?"


    The lizard stayed quiet for a while until he figured it would be nice to talk with someone for once.


    "Hmm... I have ruled this forest for thousands of years! I was feared by all, I was respected by all! UNTIL THAT DAMNABLE DEVIL RUNIED EVERYTHING!! I''VE BEEN TORTURED FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS SINCE THEN!!" It roared struggling to hold back it''s tears.


    Sky was stunned to know that Makar has known the guardian of the forest for hundreds of years.


    "Do you hate Makar?" Sky asked curious.


    "Mortal, I do not hate for that is a strong word.." The lizard said in a wise tone.


    "Ohh.. so do you like Makar?" Sky was really curious now she started to stand up.


    "No.. I DESPISE HIM!!"


    Sky fell over her log thinking the guardian really is an idiot. However she couldn''t help but laugh.


    "What so funny mortal! you think I''m lying?!"


    "Haha.. I know you are. I know deep down you consider Makar your friend." Sky said with a beautiful smile.


    The lizard was shocked he quickly stood up, causing the ground to shake. Then he crossed his arms and turned his gaze the other way.


    "Preposterous!! I-I do not consider that devil a f-friend!" He said with his cheeks dyed red.


    "Just the fact that your stuttering confirms it!!" Sky teased giggling.


    "M-mortal how dare you! What is your name for I shall remember the mortal who insulted me!!" The lizard said furiously.


    "My names Sky and what is your name?" Sky replied cheekily.


    "Mortal! Remember my name!! for it is Abyssli--"


    "That''s not a name.. that''s your race." Sky interrupted


    The lizard stood there stunned, he just realised he didn''t have a name!


    "U-um.. Mortal! I don''t need a nam--"


    "What about Taulax!" Sky interrupted again.


    "What a hideous name!!"


    "Where I come from Tau means mighty, and Lax means strength. So I thought you would like it because your mighty and you have strength. But if you don''t li--"


    "TAULAX!! FROM NOW ON I SHALL BE CALLED TAULAX!!" Taulax roared while laughing madly.


    Sky was delighted that Taulax liked his new name, she couldn''t help smiling ear to ear.


    Taulax who caught Sky smiling felt his heart warm. He also couldn''t help feeling she was a good person.


    "Sky, because of your great deed of giving me a mighty name! I hereby announce you my second friend!" Taulax said while showing a rare smile, which looked really frightening for any soul. But Sky was really happy and shocked. She was happy because she could earn another friend who was really powerful, while she was shocked because she found out she was the second friend!


    "Second?! Who''s the first!!" Sky shouted full of curiosity.


    "Sky even though you are now my friend, I am afraid I cannot tell you that." Taulax said while looking away blushing.


    Sky was a bit disappointed but quickly got over it, for she was excited to have Taulax as her new friend.


    "Um Taulax since we''re friends.. can you tell me things about this forest?"


    "Of course! Now listen up closely for we might spend the whole night." Taulax said while sitting down.


    "I don''t mind!" Sky answered cheerfully while moving closer. What they didn''t know was Makar was fake sleeping and heard everything, he felt extremely happy that his new student was making friends with his friend. Then he actually went to sleep with a smile on his face.


    Soon they talked about a lot of things, what type of monsters are living inside the forest, mana crystals, the food chain of the forest, some ruined temples, powerful materials only found here and more. Sky had wide sparkling eyes throughout the converstation. She felt like she discovered a new world.


    They spent most of the night talking, until Sky was dozing off. Taulax who saw her falling sleep, used magic to softly lift her into her sleeping bag next to Makar. Then he stared at Sky for a bit thinking that she is a good friend he can talk too. Then he turned his gaze to Makar who was snoring, he couldn''t help but feel grateful for having these two company him through his loney journey.


    "Goodnight my new friend, Sky, and my first annoying friend.. Makar." He softly whispered then disappeared into the night.
