《The Will of Stars (SWTOR Fan-Fiction) [Sequel]》
This New Story
The Empire
"Once Corellia was under the control of the unrepentant Jedi and corrupt Republic officials! However, now it has been liberated by the Empire! With minimal imperial oversight, Prime Minister Saa now leads the mighty Corellian people to a new era of prosperity and power. But, alas, our story is not without sadness. On the day of our great conquest, we lost perhaps our brightest and greatest contributor, (posthumously awarded) Lord Shaange, who now walks on the tether between life and death! Who was responsible for our great hero''s condition? None other than the deceitful Jedi, they call Master Tin!"
-Excerpt from ''The Liberation of Corellia'' Historical Account, by Imperial Minister Tis.
The Empire has since the ''Liberation of Corellia'' has seen rather extensive growth. This is largely attributed to the fact that the loss of Corellia was seen by many Planet-States in the Aperture Alliance as a loss of the Republic''s once-great strength. This has ultimately lead to many Planet-States joining the growing Empire.
On the other hand, tensions between the Empire and the Mandalorians have grown following the death of Mandalorian War Leader Rupre by an unknown Sith Lord. While the Empire has yet to respond, many Mandalorians have seen their silence as an admittance of guilt.
The Republic
"Brothers, Sisters, we come together on the day our darkest fears have become realized, Corellia has been conquered by the Empire and we ourselves are powerless to do anything. Yet, even without power, we still shall not falter. We must not falter for those that became before us. The Sith they call Lord Shaange, the one responsible for the death of Master Rarza and General Josarn, he has been defeated already by one of our own, Master Tin! For that, we must not give up, for we have something that not the Empire nor its Emperor could ever withstand, we have Hope!"
-Excerpt from ''Hope'' Speech, by (Former) President Feen.
The Republic since the ''Liberation of Corellia'' has found itself weaker. The Aperture Alliance once closely allied to the Republic has now had most of their members joining the Empire. But, President Feen''s arousing speech has not fallen on deaf ears.
Military enlistment in the Republic has nearly tripled since the loss of Corellia, old Generals and Admirals have retaken their posts, and even the most corrupt officials now know, that if they want to keep their lavish life, then they will need to fight for it.The author''s content has been appropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
The Aperture Alliance
The loss of many Planet-States has led many to see the Aperture Alliance as no longer a combined group, but, rather instead a collection of Planet-States, only barely surviving. With many Planet-States leaving to the Empire, the power of the Aperture Alliance does indeed seem great, but, in truth, it is an Alliance on the brink of destruction. Any and every actionmade could lead to destruction, and as such, it remains even more neutral to most events in the Galaxy, in fear of destroying itself.
The Hutt Cartel
The Cartel has taken advantage of the war between the Republic and Empire and hasrecently been bolder in creating their profits.
Recently, however, they lost a large portion of their fleet in a battle with an unknown bounty hunter, and the Balmorran Kingdom.
Mandalorians
Rising tensions with the Empire, due to War Leader Rupre''s alleged assassination by an unknown Sith Lord. Mandalore the Emancipator is currently undergoing diplomatic measures with the Empire.
Voss
Nobody knew how it happened, but, the very planet itself shook.
Something had called out to Voss...
Balmorra
"So... It has been unleashed... Your highness, it is time."
"Already!?"
There was no reply from the first voice.
"Uhh... I don''t want to do it..."
Again, there was no reply.
"Fine... I suppose it is time, I face my past..."
Corellia
"Four years... It''s been that long already?" A slim young man with orange-yellow eyes and dark brown hair asked the man next to him who was evidently an Imperial Officer and a Colonel with the uniform he wore.
There was a moment of silence before the reply came, "Yes, it has my Lord, I thought you would have noticed. After all, your wardrobe has changed extensively..."
"Tarvis! I said call me Aridal!"
"Right, right, Lord Aridal," Tarvis jokingly replied.
"Oi, I said---" Aridal was interrupted as a thunderstorm appeared out of nowhere.
"Tarvis, look what you''ve done!"
"Me? I''m not the one with Force Powers!"
"Still your fault!"
"No, it isn''t!"
"Yes, it is."
"Let''s just... Find some cover in there..." Tarvis gave up.
Tarvis and Aridal then both entered a large monolith, and their conversation continued.
"You think, he''ll be awake?"
Tarvis did not reply.
"Hey, why aren''t you replying?"
"No reason. Just remembered what happened on Voss when I did."
"..."
There were no words for a few moments as they both continued to walk.
At the centre of the Monolith, a beam of energy shot up into the sky.
After which, an ancient voice came out, one that was as if had the power to command armies with a single word or to scatter them with another.
"...Oh, F*ck. I feel like I''ve had the longest--- Wait, I didn''t drink anything... Uhh... Where the hell even am I?"
Shaange had awoken.
"What''s this with my face---"
Then he realized he had a mask on his face.
The Mask of Narva Worso.
"Ok, I definitely drank something."
Thus begins, this story.
No.
This New Story.
Narva Worso, Lord of Spirits (I) Corellia
"There is a legend of Ancient Sith. Many years ago, before the Sith Empire stood as it does now, there were few Sith, fewer Sith Lords and some Dark Lords and as there has always been, One Emperor.
Of theDark Lords, they numbered only four. There was one Triumpirate and a single Dark Lord. The Triumpirate''s names have since long been forgotten. Only Sith Lords of today would remember their Ancient Names.
However, the single Dark Lord''s name has yet to disappear. He was the one who had slew the Triumpirate for their arrogance. The one that destroyed the Jedi Council. The one who had the Supreme Chancellor at his feet.
His name remains, born from Corellia, Lord of Spirits, Narva Worso."
First Person
Why am I lying on a tomb? Is this a Romeo and Juliet reenactment? Don''t ask me how I remember it.
"Tell. Young Sith, who are you?"
Huh? Why is there an ancient voice in my head?
"Has it been so long that even I had been forgotten?"
What is he---
"Listen well. Young Sith, when I still breathed, I was a Dark Lord of the Sith, I lead the Emperor''s greatest armies, I am, Narva Worso---"
Narva Worso... That name... It sounds familiar... Wait. Oh. I remember now...
"It is reassuring that my name is still known to Sith. But, what of my descendants, do they still live? The blood of mine does not die so easily."
Should I tell him, I''ve never heard of any Sith with the surname Worso? Probably better, not to.
"How unfortunate, but my name forgotten, means only their weakness."This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author''s work.
Wait, can you read my---
"Mind? I suppose I can do such a thing."
Well, they could have changed surnames...
"Perhaps."
Alright. I have an Ancient Sith Spirit inside my head. Which I''m going to guess is responsible for me feeling as If I just had the longest hangover ever?
"Strange thoughts for a Sith... But, as the only other present, I shall enlighten you."
If he can read my mind, I probably shouldn''t be thinking at all.
"Four years ago, you placed on my Mask. Regardless of your reason, you placed it on, and with such, we shared one body, just as I had intended."
Hmmm.
"With whatever strength I had, I repelled our enemies, but, I did not expect for there to be one of the same calibre as the Lord of Shadows, and thus, I had to make it so that you enter a slumber."
Lord of Shadows?
"The greatest of the Triumvirate, and one of many to have died at my hands."
Ok?
"While I was within your mind, I chose to venture and see, and visions I saw beyond my wildest imaginations..."
Right... Anime and Manga? Or perhaps something else.
"Giants, Gods, Demons, Abdominations and even others, capable of destroying entire worlds, so, I ask again.
Tell. Young Sith, who are you?"
Not answering.
"Very well. But, know, I am always watching.
Strange, but.
Wait.
Four years ago?
Four years ago?
...FOUR YEARS AGO?!
"Four years, indeed it has been, since your slumber and my awakening."
You''re kidding me, right?"
"It would be unbefitting of me to do so."
Alright...
Four years, huh.
Feels as if only a day has passed.
Well, at least you didn''t try a Valkorion move.
"Valkorion... I remember him, in one of many visions. The Eternal Empire, for such a mighty Sith to live, surely the Republic should have fallen by now, no?"
Wrong Uni--- Galaxy.
Valkorion is an... An entity from another Galaxy, not ours.
"Interesting, you can see the actions of others outside our Galaxy?"
I suppose. You could say it like that.
"By the Emperor..."
Though, I wouldn''t call it foresight.
"If not foresight, then what else could your power so be?"
Nevermind, it is foresight.
"An odd Sith you are. The only, or has the whole Empire changed?"
I''m the only one. At least I think.
"That is reassuring..."
"Tarvis, I beat you here!"
That sounds familiar.
"It was not a race."
That also sounds familiar...
"You know who they are?"
How do you not know, I thought you went through my memory?
"Your mind is strange. Clouded, I cannot enter easily."
I''ll take that as a compliment.
"From my sight, the older is an Imperial Colonel, the insignia has remained the same as ever, and for the younger... Perhaps, I have seen his ancestors before..."
Narva Worso, Lord of Spirits (II) Corellia
First Person
"Oh, hello there." Yes, I said it.
Two shocked faces.
Their faces look familiar as well.
Oh, wait.
"Shaange!"
Aridal? You... Look almost exactly the same.
Well, except his uniform, some sort of Sith garb, somewhat similar to Inquisitor Verb''s. Wait, no, that''s not his name. Whatever his name was, Aridal''s wearing clothing similar to it.
"My Lord?"
Then, there''s also Tarvis. And I think that Narva said he was a Colonel now?
"Indeed. The insignia has remained ever the same."
Huh. That''s interesting. Tarvis has also changed a lot... He has a full-on beard and moustache. I can see at least four medals, and for some reason, he has shoulder pads. That means he''s big stuff right?
Of course, Narva... Ok, that sounds weird. I''ll say Worso from now on.
"It matters not. And of his status, if the Empire has not changed, he is then one that would command several ships." Worso said.
Ok?
"Looks like you''ve been promoted."
"Indeed my Lord."
Well, this situation is awkward now...
"You would do well to leave now, there is no benefit in remaining here."
Ok... Well, "Alright, let''s go."
"My Lord... Are you fine, you just woke---"
"What''re you talking about Tarvis? Let''s go right now! We even got a new ship and everything to show!"
A new ship? That sounds interesting. If you come across this story on Amazon, it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it.
I wonder how big it is...
"Size does not matter---"
I''ve heard that enough times in my life to know what it means.
"Interesting..."
"Who are you talking to Shaange?"
Well, thanks, Worso, now I look like I''m talking to myself.
"No. That child is... Strange..."
Alright?
Well, time to get out of my coffin, out with the feet---
"Shaange!"
Ok. Why are my feet... You know what I mean.
"You have been asleep for four years, your body has become weak."
And my hands were strong enough to move the top part of my coffin?
"In case you do not recall, there was no top part. And if there was, I would have moved it myself."
Wait, then how did I sit up?
"I lent a bit of my own strength."
Alright, now please give me enough strength to stand up, after falling down my coffin and a flight of some stairs.
No response, though Aridal did help me without saying anything.
He seems different.
He''s older now, well, he was always older than me I think.
I think.
He looks more mature, though judging from how he''s lifting me up, it doesn''t seem that he has grown that much taller.
Ah screw it, I''ll think about it on the ship.
"You are odd, indeed."
Shut up.
That''s a big ship...
Whatever ship I had before, it''s not even half the size as this one.
"My Lord, may I present the ''Change'' it is an extensively modified transport ship which we have changed to fit a variety of weapons. Your previous ship... Was unfortunately destroyed in an attack by ''rogue'' members of the Republic..."
Well, I suppose it makes sense if it is a transport ship?
Still, my previous ship was kind of similar to the Sith Inquisitor from SWTOR''s ship... This looks like a small version of a destroyer. A very small version, though still a lot bigger.
"The Sith Inquisitor? I saw a bit of her, to bind Force Ghosts---"
Wait, her? I made my character as a male, didn''t I? Or, does it not work that way?
"Character?"
Nothing.
As I continue speaking with Worso, I notice that the door to the ship is now open, and I''m just standing doing nothing, right now.
Well, time to go in.
And, it looks even bigger inside.
"Well, my Lord, if you would find somewhere to sit, we should contact Darth Deragus and inform you on the news of what has happened in the Galaxy so far."
Four years...
I couldn''t have missed that much...
I think.
I hope.
I wish.
The Era of Ancient Sith has ended.
"There is a saying of New Sith. Said today, the new replaces the old, the Empire grows, Sith shall rise, Sith Lords will appear, Dark Lords emerge, and a Council will be formed, and the Emperoris once more.
Of the Dark Lords, another has emerged, another for the Council to fear, and another for the Sith Lords to strike against. He bears a new name, a powerful name, all Sith know his name, his hands slew the once-living ambitious Sith Lord.
But, he is not alone to have emerged. No single Sith can rule this Era. A Sith Lord has appeared from nowhere after her absence and fall, bearing a new name and a new power, none can stand in her way, except perhaps for one.
There are many others, but, choose to remain hidden for now. Destiny will Force them out..."
Thus begins the Era of New Sith.
