 Prologue: The Fall

    "Huff....Huff..."

    The boy started breathing heavily while running as fast as he ever has in all his life through the forest. He had no doubt about it, his life was under a great threat and if he did not find shelter immediately he could die or become severely injured. Thin blue neon rays rained down the pitch black night sky that looked as if Zeus, the god of lightning him self had started launching thousands of solid thunder bolts to the earth attempting to wipe-out humanity.

    The rays fell down at a great speed and dug their sharp blades right into the surface in which they landed on like arrows. The boy continued to run without looking back but it was only a matter of time before he reached his limit. He had been running for nearly a whole kilometer at full speed and he himself knew he was no athlete. He stopped for a moment to catch his breath.

    "Huff.....Huff.....Dammit!"

    He placed his hand on his chest and gripped it tightly and spoke.

    "Hey....huff....I know it''s been months.... since I made you work this hard before.....huff.....but..."

    The boy looked down at his chest with a worried face as he leaned down from all the fatigue of running.

    "Huff......we are both going to die if you don''t push yourself beyond your limit..."

    He then leaned back up straight and raised his head up slightly to the sky.

    "Oh who am I kidding, when has my body ever let me go beyond my limits !?!?!"

    The boy then reached for the left pocket of his brown trousers and slipped out his smartphone then stared down at the screen showing the current time and date.Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

    "Ah it''s 8:27 PM, at least now I will know the time I died haha.....LIKE HELL I WILL!!"

    He slipped his phone back into his pocket and started to run once again while talking to himself in his thoughts

    He looked up at the sky again for a split second and then looked straight.

    ["How have none of them hit me yet ?"]

    ["Could it be that they are actually holograms and have been passing through me this whole time ?"]

    He stopped for a moment as if he was willing and brave enough to find that answer out for himself.

    One of the rays fell down at a enormous speed and went right passed the boys face while slitting some of his hair off like it were nothing and pierced its way through the solid ground. His eyes widened in shock.

    ["YEP THAT''S NOT LIKELY!"]

    He took a leap away from the ray and started running now faster than ever. He eventually spotted a small glimpse of what looked like a large rocky boulder with a hole around the size of a van and stared at it with a surprised look on his face

    ["A cave maybe ? Could I really be saved !?!?"]

    He started running towards it and jumped over a log in front of him with a somewhat joyful expression on his face and yelled.

    "I''M SAVED!"

    The boy started to reach closer and closer to the cave and after a couple of seconds he finally reached it but stopped just before entering to catch his breath.

    "Huff....huff.....I did it!"

    He raised his head up to the sky and put a huge grin on his face and shouted.

    "HAHA YOU CAN''T GET ME YOU BLUE LITTLE PIECES OF SHI..."

    At that moment a blue ray slightly brighter in color than the rest shot out of the sky at jet speed as if it had just been shot from a laser gun like the ones seen in sci-fi movies and pierced its way right into the boys right eye as blood splashed out of it like a bucket of paint exploding.

    The boy no longer had a look of joy on his face. No it was more like....a look of terror.

    His entire body was launched onto the ground with great force from the impact of the horrific ray now covered in his blood.

    The boys mouth opened widely as he screamed from the bottom of his lungs to the very tip.

    "AAAAAAAAAAUUGHHHHHHHHH....!!!!!!!"

 Chapter 1 - Late Again

    (7 Hours Before The Fall)

    "Hey come on kid, we know you got some money on you"

    The student had a distressed look on his face as the three "thug" students continued to crowd up closer to him, he could tell that they were all at least a year older than him, although they had the same high-school uniform on as him, the younger student managed to eventually come up with the courage to answer them.

    "I don''t have any money on me I promise"

    The three students looked at each other with a confused look and then stared down at him with an annoyed expression, the tallest among them stepped forward and grabbed the younger student by the shoulder.

    "Look kid, i''m gonna give you till the count of three to give us your money, else it ain''t gonna end well for you."

    The other two students looked at each other and grinned, the younger student how ever had a look of fear on his face, he slowly tried to step back from the them. The tallest student started counting.

    "One....two...."

    A loud sound of a rumble surrounded the area in which the young student was currently being mugged. The students all looked to their left and saw a figure running towards the same direction they were all standing at, it seemed to be getting closer by the second.

    "What the hell is that !?"

    The figure running towards them was eventually revealed to be another student in uniform with brown hair and eyes, around the same age as the three "thug" students. The student running had a desperate look on his face as he started approaching them and then began waving his arms around in the air as if he was signalling something to them.

    "OUTTA'' MY WAY I''M GONNA BE LATE"

    The tallest among the two smiled after hearing that and then angled him self facing the student who was running towards him and put his hand forward as if he was telling him to stop.

    "Woah there buddy, you gotta pay up is well, heh..."

    The student ignored him and continued to run towards him, the tallest student then became infuriated and put both his hands out and slightly squatted as if he was getting ready to forcefully block the student from going passed him like a wall. The student running towards him saw this and became annoyed.

    "I SAID GET THE HELL OUTTA'' MY WAY!!!"

    He ran up to to him and just before the student could reach him he took off his bag and slammed it across his face landing a critical blow to the nose. The taller student fell face flat on the ground with widened eyes and a shocked look on his face. He then stepped over him and continued to run, the two other students became even more frightened than the young student they were mugging and simply took a couple of steps back to make way for the boy who had just taken down the person who was clearly the strongest between them two. As he ran past the two students he put his hand up and waved it around as if he was telling someone to follow him.Stolen content alert: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences.

    "HURRY UP TAKIMI!"

    In front of the taller student, who was currently on his knees trying to process what just happened was a mildly-short girl around one year younger than him with light brown long hair and eyes running after the the boy.

    "WAIT UP SORO, JEEZ!"

    The taller student finally eventually came to his senses and spotted the girl who was just about to run passed him, he reached and grabbed her by the ankle.

    "Hehe, where do you think your going ?"

    "GET THE HELL OFF ME YOU WEIRDO!!!"

    She was already angry before, but he had just added more fuel to the fire, she forcefully pulled the ankle that had been grabbed by the student towards her making his upper body lean forward as he was still on the ground and then kneed him in the nose with all her strength, blood burst out of his nose as his face hit the ground once again. The poor student cried in pain as he rolled around to have the back of his head on the ground rather than his face.

    "AUGHHH!!!"

    "Hmph! Serves you right!"

    The girl then stepped over him and ran passed the other two students, they did not even budge a bit, they had their eyes clearly fixated on the student currently on the ground as they had realized what that young girl clearly had not realized while she was stepping over him. Their faces where in complete shock and fear after what they had just seen.

    "Sh-she...stepped over his crotch and didn''t even realize it....."

    The student on the ground felt so much pain that he had not even reacted when his crotch was stepped on, he simply passed out on the spot. The younger student who was being mugged took this opportunity and ran off.

    The boy from earlier, Soro, and the girl, Takimi, made it to the entrance of a school gate while both heavily breathing and were stopped right after opening it by a muscular man guarding the school gate.

    "Hmm..? Soro and Takimi ? You two are late again ? it''s the second time this week!"

    Both Soro and Takimi both nervously laughed and scratched the back of their heads.

    "Ha-ha...."

    The man sighed.

    "Come on in then."

    They both ran passed the gate and went inside the school and started going separate directions towards their classes. Takimi raised her hand and waved at Soro who was behind her.

    "See ya'' at home big brother"

    Soro also raised his hand and waved back at her.

    "See ya'' sis"

    Soro then turned to his right and opened the door to his classroom. An attractive looking female teacher with blonde hair glared at him.

    "You''re late Soro, again..."

    "Hah...well you see...."

    She glared at him even harder than before.

    "Just sit down!"

    Soro walked over to his seat around the back of the room and sat down. Two students, a male and a female, sitting beside him leaned over to both sides of his ear and whispered.

    "What''s up Soro ? Did you get stuck trying to help a turtle cross the road this time ?"

    Soro looked over to the male on his right.

    "Jeez just shut up Yugo"

    The female on his left sighed.

    "You do remember our class trip to the Kyanpu forest is today right Soro ?"

    Soro looked over to his left.

    "Obviously, what makes you think I forgot ?"

    "Uhh, I don''t know maybe the fact that you were late and we''re almost about to head out now"

    "Pshhh! whatever, it''s not like you always remember things yourself Akame"

    She simply looked away as she knew he had a point.

    Soro faced forwards to listen to what the teacher was saying.

    "Alright, so now that all the instructions are out of the way can everyone gather up by the door and make a single file line please."

    All the students got up and formed a line by the door including Soro. He was confused since he didn''t actually hear any instructions due to the fact that he was late, and both his friends distracted him as soon as he sat down.

    The teacher opened the door and stood beside it as students started rushing passed from the excitement of going on a school trip.

    "Take it easy and don''t run in the corridors!"

    The students and teacher eventually made their way out of the school gates and onto the school bus which was parked outside, they all sat down and tucked their seat belts. The bus had 3 seats in every column, both on the right and left side. Soro was sat by the window and next to him was Akame and Yugo.

    Once everyone had sat down the bus finally started to move, Soro looked out the window as he was feeling bored and noticed a cloud in the sky that had started to disappear very rapidly, he could tell something was off but didn''t bother to say anything, instead he just watched as it faded away within seconds.

 Chapter 2 - Field Trip (1)

    "Rock, Paper, Scissors!"

    "Dammit!"

    "Hehe, you''re so bad at this Soro"

    Both Akame and Soro clenched their hands once again. Akame looked at Soro with a smirk on her face.

    "Heh, give up already, you''ve already lost eighteen times in a row"

    "Like hell I will, I''m not giving up until I beat you Akame"

    "Hmm...ok then have it your way"

    Soro opened his eyes widely and looked down at Akame''s left hand which was currently clenched, he was observing it''s movements very sharply.

    "Rock, Paper, Scissors!"

    Yugo placed his book down and leaned over to see the results.

    "A draw !?! that''s the first one yet, you must be cheating Soro!"

    Soro raised one of his eyebrows and looked at Yugo with a forced smile on his face, although you could tell he was annoyed.

    "Dude...shut up"

    Akame chuckled, she then looked at Soro with a smug look on her face.

    "I''m so glad you finally learned how to play rock play scissors"

    Soro''s forced smile broke as he gritted his teeth towards Akame.

    "SHUT UP! JEEZ..."

    "PFF...HAHAHAHAHA"

    Akame bursted out in laughter as she lowered her left hand.

    "Ahhh...you''re so funny Soro"

    Soro crossed his arms and looked down with an annoyed expression like a child who was told he couldn''t have what he wanted. Akame wiped the tears from her eyes from all the laughter.

    "Alright, how about one more round and then we can play something else ?"

    "Fine..."

    "Rock, Paper, Scissors!"

    Both Akame and Yugo''s eyes widened and Soro''s right after. They all had a surprised look on their face. Soro was the most surprised among the three off them, he could not believe what had happened.

    "I WON!!! HECK YEAH!!!"

    Akame didn''t say anything, she simply grinned. Soro stood up from his seat and raised both his arms in the air.If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it.

    "WOOOOOOOOOOO!"

    All the other students in the bus immediately turned their gazes towards him. Soro lowered his hands shortly after and noticed all the faces staring at him, he was so embarrassed he didn''t know how to react, he scratched the back of his head as he smiled at them.

    "Haha....so what''s up guys ?"

    None of them responded, they just simply looked away as if nothing had happened and continued with what they were doing before. Akame bursted into laughter once again.

    "BAHAHAHAHAHA, YOUR TOO GREAT SORO!!"

    She kicked her legs around like a child as she continued to laugh, Soro simply sat back down with a gloom look on his face and stared out the window trying to erase his memory of what just happened. He noticed the sky was clear, all the clouds that he had seen 40 minutes ago before the journey had completely vanished.

    [Hmm...that''s strange, there all gone, has anyone else noticed it besides me ? should I ask Akame ?]

    "Hey, Akame..."

    "Hmm ? looking for another rematch ?"

    "No not that. Have you noticed anything strange happen to the sky lately ?"

    "Well now that you mention it, my dad told me he saw something fall out from the sky last night when we were having dinner"

    "That''s weird, did he tell you what it looked like ?"

    "He said it was blue and glowing like some sort of star, something along those lines I think, Why do you ask ?"

    "Just curious is all"

    "Really ? It''s not like you to care about this sort of thing, are you alright ?"

    "Yeah i''m fine don''t worry, anyways, what are we playing next ?"

    The bus suddenly came to a stop. The blonde teacher got off her seat and walked over to the bus coach.

    "Why did we stop ?"

    The coach turned off the engine of the bus and then looked at her

    "I can''t drive any further ahead"

    "What do you mean ?"

    The coach pointed forwards. The road ahead had a large hole on it, almost as if a giant meteor had crashed down on it not too long ago. The teacher squinted her eyes at it.

    "What on earth is that ?"

    The students started mumbling among each other concerned as to why the bus stopped. The teacher turned around to face them and then cleared her throat.

    "Ehem..."

    They all looked up at her and became silent.

    "It looks like we ran into a problem getting to the Kyanpu forest, but no worries, there''s a place not too far back called the Henka forest where we can camp instead."

    The students started mumbling again with confused looks on their faces. Akame stood up and spoke to the teacher directly.

    "But Miss, why can''t we go to the Kyanpu forest ?"

    "Well you see....the roads blocked ?"

    "Huh ?"

    Akame slightly twisted her head in confusion. The teacher had no idea what else to say to her, she cleared her throat once again.

    "Alright class, start leaving the bus and form a line on the pavement, do not attempt to walk further down the road"

    The students obediently followed her command, however the mumbling started again once they left the bus and saw the hole on the road in front of the bus. Soro, Yugo and Akame stood together in the line. Yugo sighed as he gently pushed his glasses closer to his eyes.

    "I don''t understand why we are going to Henka forest, if the roadway to Kyanpu forest is blocked then we may is well return back to school and come back once the it''s back to normal.

    Soro had been staring at the hole on the roadway for a while, he was curious as to why there were no signs put up around it, could it have been that the road was only recently damaged and they were the first to notice it. Akame crossed her arms with a weary look on her face.

    "Jeez this whole trip is ruined"

    The teacher finally came out of the bus after discussing a phew things with the coach. She stood in front of all the students who where in line.

    "Alright, everyone follow me I know a shortcut to the Henka forest"

    The teacher got off the pavement and went onto a rocky pathway surrounded by trees. The students followed along, apart from Soro who was still looking at the hole.

    ["What could have possibly fallen from the sky to make such a big hole ?"]

    Soro spotted a small blue flash coming from the hole, he started to walk closer towards it in curiosity, however he stopped when he heard Akame call for him soon after.

    "Hey Soro! hurry up or your gonna get lost"

    "Coming"

    Soro turned away from the hole and ran onto the rocky pathway to catch up to the rest of his class

 Chapter 3 - Field Trip (2)

    "Ugh! when are we gonna get there ?"

    "We barely walked 20 meters..."

    "But it''s so hot...."

    Akame tripped over a stone as she was walking but was caught by Soro just before hitting the ground. Soro looked at her with a smile on his face.

    "Jeez, you''re hopeless"

    "You''re one to talk, mister I can''t play rock, paper, scissors"

    "Tch!"

    Soro let go of her hand with an annoyed look on his face, Akame fell onto the ground.

    "Aw! HEY!!!"

    Soro rolls his eyes and continues walked on ahead with Yugo. Akame eventually finds the strength to get up and runs to catch up to them.

    "What the hell! you can''t just leave me!"

    The class eventually comes to a stop in a mildly grassy area surrounded by trees, although the sun could still be seen clear as day. The teacher cleared her throat as usual and spoke up to the entire class.

    "Alright class here we are, the Henka forest, don''t go wondering off on your own, make sure you explore in at least groups of two or more"

    Most of the class split into separate groups and wondered off in to the forest, however Soro, Akame and Yugo stayed right where they were. Akame stepped forward and turned back to face the two.

    "So where should we go first ?"

    Soro smiled and scratched his head, he was completely clueless as he had never been to the forest before. Yugo raised his hand to his face and pushed his glasses closer towards his eyes as he spoke.

    "Well, I heard some of the other students say there was a large lake here not too far away"

    "Alright lets go there then!"

    The two started walking ahead while leaving Soro behind, Akame eventually turned around with a confused look on her face.

    "Huh, why aren''t you coming Soro ?"

    "Uhh...isn''t it dangerous to go to a big lake in the middle of a forest ?"

    Akame smirked.

    "Hmm ? Scared are we?"

    "What no it''s just, something feels off about this place"

    "Relax it will be fine, it''s not like we are jumping into it or anything right Yugo ?"

    Yugo nodded.

    "Alright fine i''ll come along"

    "Yipeee!"

    Soro caught up to the two and they continued to walk through the forest. Akame spotted two lizards on a tree. She stopped and pointed at it.

    "Hey look it''s a couple, they look so cute together"

    Akame ran to catch up to the two.

    "Jeez, you guys are no fun"

    They eventually reached the giant lake in the forest and wondered around it. Yugo stood still completely in disappointment.

    "This is the lake they were talking about ? what a joke"

    Akame glared at him angrily.

    "HEY! don''t insult the lake, it''s probably like this because it''s spring, i''m positive when it''s summer this lake will be sparkling."

    "Pfft...whatever"

    Akame turned around only to find Soro sitting down throwing sticks and stones into the lake. She rushed at him with great pace.

    "WHAT ARE YOU DOING IDIOT!"

    She grabbed both of Soro''s hands trying to get the sticks and stones out of his hands, Soro resisted.

    "Awch!....I should be asking you the same question!"

    "Are you trying to ruin the lake or something!?"

    "No, i''m just bored is all"

    Akame stared at him with a infuriated face. Soro looked at her with a confused face.

    "What''s with the angry look ? A butterfly bite you or something ?"

    "GRRR...BUTTERFLIES DON''T BITE YOU IDIOT"

    She gripped onto his hands even tighter.

    "Awch! okay okay, i''m sorry!"

    "You better be!"

    Akame let go of his hands and walked off. Soro looked at Yugo.

    "Jeez, what''s her problem ?"

    Yugo shrugged. Akame stopped between the two and leaned on a boulder next to her.

    "Alright let''s go somewhere else, before one of you decides to do something crazy like pee in the lake"

    Soro looked at the lake nervously.

    "Right..."

    The three of them continued to explore the forest for hours on end, finding bizarre insects and animals. The time was now 7:49 PM and the sky was slightly dark. All the students where gathered up ready to head back to school. The blonde teacher who was standing in front of them cleared her throat and pointed to a pathway on her left.

    "Alright I hope you all had fun, it''s time to head back now, so if everyone could please follow this pathway back to the bus please"

    The students started walking down the path guided by the teacher. Soro, Yugo and Akame walked together in a group of three. Akame crossed her arms around her chest.

    "Hrr...It''s so cold!"

    Yugo looked over at her.

    "You should of just brought a coat with you"

    "How was I supposed to know it would be this cold!"

    "Check the forecast dingus"

    "Grr...!"

    As they kept walking onward Soro turned around to get one last glimpse of the forest.

    ["So this was the Henka forest huh ? Not too bad I guess, Kyanpu forest would of still been better though"]

    Right before Soro turned around again he caught a glimpse of a blue spark on the sky which appeared to be falling down at a great speed.

    ["What the hell is that ? It looks like it''s headed towards this forest, I should go check it out, maybe it has something to do with those clouds disappearing so quickly earlier"]

    Soro started running into the forest, Akame turned around and spotted him.

    "HEY SORO WHERE ARE YOU GOING !?!"

    "I''ll be back!"

    "WHAT DO YOU MEAN !?!"

    It was too late for her to run after him, he had already gone passed a couple of trees and was no where to be found due to the darkness in the forest. Soro continued to run to the direction the spark was falling. He jumped over a couple of large stones and tree roots. The spark in the sky started slowing down as it began to reach the surface. Soro looked up at the sky while he was running to try locate where the spark was headed.

    ["Did it just slow down or something ?"]

    Just before Soro was about to look straight he hit his face on a tree and fell back.

    "Aughh!!"

    Blood started bleeding out of his forehead, he put his hand on it to try cover up the cut.

    ["Aw man, this hurts so bad!"]

    He then got up and started running slightly slower than before as he was feeling mildly dizzy from the shock of hitting his head. He made his way passed a bush and after going through a couple more trees he reached the lake where he was throwing sticks and stones at before. He looked up to the sky and saw the spark heading down directly towards the center of the lake. He put his hand in front of his eyes.

    ["It''s so bright..."]

    A couple of meters before reaching the lake the blue spark sped up.

    ["What this feeling ?"]

    The spark crashed down on the center of the lake with great force creating a large shock wave around the area. Soro was launched back from the shock wave and slammed his back onto a tree nearby, he was nearly knocked unconscious, his vision was blurry and his entire body was trembling from the impact.

    ["So this is where I die...."]

    He slowly shut his eyes. A couple of seconds later he heard a voice inside of his head speak to him.

    ["Huh.....what the...."]

 Chapter 4 - Rainfall

    Soro felt some energy coursing through his body, he had gotten a complete adrenaline boost and could almost ignore the physical pain he was currently in. He slowly got up from the tree he was leaning on and slapped his cheeks to knock his senses back to normal.

    ["What was that voice ?"]

    Soro began to walk towards the lake, however it was no where to be found, the water which filled it had completely vanished and all that remained was a large hole. He caught a glance of the shining blue spark, which now had the shape of a lightning bolt dug onto the center of the hole. He was aware he would not be able to climb back up if he went down the hole due to his injuries, instead he grabbed a stick from the ground and threw it towards the spark, the stick was instantly burnt into ashes.

    ["Woah! just how hot is that thing ?"]

    Soro felt a sharp ache on his legs and completely lost his balance, he fell over onto ground.

    "Aghh!"

    ["Damn these legs, I should probably lay low and try to get some rest for now"]

    He closed his eyes and relaxed his muscles.

    ["Ah this is nice.....I need to pee though"]

    A large rumble came from the sky as if a deadly storm was about to take place. Soro jolted his eyes open and looked up at the sky. He saw tiny sparks of blue lights covering the entire sky. It was as if all the stars in the sky had turned blue.

    ["That''s strange, didn''t Akame say her dad saw something similar last night ? "]

    The lights started to grow in size over time.

    ["Why do I get the strange feeling that they are moving ?"]

    The sound of the rumble grew stronger as time passed by and it wasn''t till a short while that Soro realized they where falling down.

    ["This is bad.."]

    The sparks started accelerating downwards and some where bouncing off each other upon contact. Soro leaned forwards from the ground and tried to get up but it was no use, although he had the energy to his body was far too injured for him to be able to move much.

    ["No no no, not like this!"]

    He attempted to crawl on the ground towards a nearby boulder to take shelter, but before he managed to reach the boulder one of the sparks struck the boulder and broke it down into little pieces.

    ["Shit!"]

    The other sparks started to reach the surface and pierce there way into it like arrows. Soro had just about lost all hope for survival there were too many of them falling, it was only a matter of time before one hit him he thought.

    He heard a quiet buzzing sound in his head and the voice awoke once again.

    The buzzing sound in his head completely stopped and the voice could no longer be heard.

    ["Something''s off, I feel completely normal"]

    Soro got up off the ground and started shaking his legs around, he then put his hand over his forehead which was bleeding earlier on and then looked at his hand, there was no trace of blood to be found whatsoever, his wounds had somehow magically recovered.

    ["I can''t feel any pain, what''s going on ?"]

    One of the sparks from the sky landed right next to his right foot nearly grazing his shoe. He leaped away from it as if his reflexes acted on their own.

    ["I can worry about all this later, I have to get away from here first"]

    He began to sprint into the forest as fast as he could pushing passed bushes and plants in his way, he leaped over small boulders and even swung on some branches of short trees. He had no intention of stopping, but it was only a matter of time before he became tired. After running past a phew more trees he paused for a while to catch his breath.

    He placed his hand on his chest and gripped it tightly as he spoke.

    The boy looked down at his chest with a worried face as he leaned down from all the fatigue of running.

    "We are both going to die this time if you don''t push yourself beyond your limit!"

    He then leaned back up straight and raised his head up slightly to the sky.

    "Oh who am I kidding!"

    He then reached for the left pocket of his trousers and slipped out his smartphone then stared down at the screen showing the current time and date.

    "Ah it''s 8:27 PM, at least now I will know the time I died haha..."

    He slipped his phone into his pocket and began to run again

    One of the sparks fell down at a enormous speed and went right passed the boys face while slitting some of his hair off like it were nothing and pierced its way through the solid ground. His eyes widened in shock.

    Soro took another leap away from it and started running now faster than ever. He eventually spotted a small glimpse of what looked like a large rocky boulder with a hole around the size of a van and stared at it with a surprised look on his face

    ["A cave maybe ? Could I really be saved !?!?"]

    He started running towards it and jumped over a log in front of him with a somewhat joyful expression on his face and yelled.

    "I''M SAVED!"

    He started to reach closer and closer to the cave and after a couple of seconds he finally reached it but stopped just before entering to catch his breath.

    "Huff....huff.....I did it!"

    He raised his head up to the sky and put a huge grin on his face as he shouted.

    "HAHA YOU CAN''T GET ME YOU BLUE LITTLE PIECES OF SHI..."

    At that moment one of the blue sparks slightly brighter in color than the rest shot out of the sky at jet speed as if it had just been shot from a laser gun like the ones seen in sci-fi movies and pierced its way right into the boys right eye as blood splashed out of it like a bucket of paint exploding.

    He no longer had a look of joy on his face. No, it was more like....a look of terror.

    His entire body was launched onto the ground with great force from the impact of the horrific bolt now covered in his blood.

    The boys mouth opened widely as he screamed from the bottom of his lungs to the very tip.

 Chapter 5 - Weird People

    Soro''s eyes jolted open, he leaned forward from the bed in which he was laying on and tried to get up but felt a sharp pain on his body. He looked around to his left side and spotted a heart rate monitor, he then looked to the right and spotted a medicine pump, he could feel a face mask on his mouth connected to a ventilator from which he was currently breathing from. He raised his hands and removed it from his mouth along with the other pieces of equipment connected to him. One of the nurses walking passed the corridors spotted him moving around and ran up to the room he was in.

    "Woah woah, what are you doing ?"

    "Getting these things off me"

    "Hold on just relax for a bit will you ?"

    Soro placed his hands down and looked at the nurse. The nurse got a piece of paper out of her hand and stared down at it.

    "What is your name ?"

    "Soro....Soro Matako"

    "Hmm let me see.....Ah! here it is, it says here you were found completely passed out in the Henka forest with severe injuries all over your body, can you recall anything that happened on the 7th of April ?"

    "That was the day I had a field trip to the Kyanpu forest I think"

    "Mhm, do you remember anything else ?"

    "There was a giant hole on the road so we had to go to the Henka forest instead"

    Soro''s eyes widened in shock,he placed both his hands on his head as he started seeing various flashbacks of that night, he saw himself running as rays fell down from the sky, he then saw a flashback of one of the rays hitting him in the right eye, he started to panic and breathe heavily. The nurse ran up to him and placed the face mask on his mouth.

    "Soro can you hear me !? I need you to remain calm, what you are seeing are flashbacks of the past"

    Soro started to breathe lightly again and regained control of his senses. He placed his hand over the spot where his right eye would usually be, but instead he felt a eye pad dressing covering it completely.

    He looked over at the nurse who was nervously checking the heart rate monitor beside him.

    She looked over at him with a relieved look on her face.

    Soro nodded and proceeded to lay down, the nurse went out of the room and proceeded through the corridor. Soro leaned over to his side as he placed his hand over the eye pad on his face.

    ["What does she mean by a miracle, that thing nearly killed me!"]

    Soro began to hear noises of a man yelling at a nurse across his room.

    "WHAT DO YOU MEAN DON''T USE IT !?!"

    "Sir, please calm down...."

    "CALM DOWN !?! YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN WHEN I''VE BEEN GIVEN A GIFT FROM THE GODS AND NOW EVERYONE IS TELLING ME NOT TO EMBRACE IT !?!"

    The man in front of Soro started stomping on the ground as he walked down the alleyway, each stomp would cause a heavy vibration on the ground. The man then slammed his hand on a window at the end of the alleyway and jumped out with no hesitation. Soro''s eyes widened

    He went back into his room and opened the curtains to look out the window.

    ["HOLY SH*T HE JUMPED OFF THE 12TH FLOOR, IS HE EVEN ALIVE !?!"]

    Soro quickly walked out of the room and went down the alleyway towards the window that was smashed, it was crowded with people curiously looking around, he managed to push through them to reach the broken window, he caught sight of the man who had fell from the 12th floor of the hospital, he was walking around in the car park perfectly fine, he also caught sight of other un-ordinary people at the car park, some where floating and others had bizzare facial and body features like the man from before. He tried to squint his left eye to see clearer but was then alerted by a familiar voice behind him.

    "Is that you Soro ?"

 Chapter 6 - Evolution

    Soro turned around to see who was behind him but didn''t spot anyone he knew, he then heard the voice call out to him again.

    "I''m over here you idiot"

    He looked to his left and spotted Takimi waving at him with a surprised look on her face. Soro looked at her confusingly.

    "Takimi, how did you get here so fast ?"

    "Well I was already on my way to visit you but then I got a call from the hospital saying that you had woken up so I came here running"

    "Ah, that explains it"

    "Well....?"

    "THE HELL DO YOU MEAN WHAT !?! YOU WERE IN A COMA FOR A WHOLE WEEK AND I WAS BEGINNING TO THINK YOU WOULDN''T WAKE UP AND NOW THAT YOU''RE UP YOUR ACTING NORMAL AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED !!!"

    The crowd around the them started staring at Takimi. Soro put his index finger to his lips.

    "Shhhhh!....you''re too loud Takimi, can''t you see where in a hospital ?"

    "Alright! alright, I get it you missed your big brother so much that you''ve gone mad, aw...it''s okay come give me a hug.."

    Takimi threw a punch directly at Soro''s cheek, he was launched across the corridor and fell onto the ground.

    Soro put his hand over the cheek that Takimi as he groaned in pain.

    Takimi walked up to him and held her hand out.

Once they got out of the elevator they made their way into the main reception room. An attendant came up to them with a piece of paper and handed it to Soro.

    Soro took the paper and filled in all the details, he handed it over to the attendant.

    As they walked on ahead Soro spotted someone maneuvering in the air as if he was flying, he had a red light flashing out of both his hands as if he were holding a glow stick. He tapped Takimi and pointed towards the man surfing through the sky.

    "Hey, are you seeing that !?"

    "Yea, what about it ?"

    "What do you mean what about it !?! he is legit flying like some sort of comic super hero"

    "Basically there was a rainfall a week ago and these weird thingies were falling out of the sky and anyone who got hit by one got some sort of ability or something like that"

    An eerie sound cut off the man speaking on the broadcast, the image on the screen began to glitch out and many different colors and frames started flashing as if the camera had been broken, Soro shook his laptop around thinking it was his connection that was failing even tho it was the broadcast it self.

    "Come on dammit, work you piece of crap"

    Letters began appearing in front of all the colors and frames as they began to darken.

    The screen immediately went blank and nothing could be seen or heard.

 Chapter 7 - School

    Soro placed his laptop down and stared at the screen.

    He then yawned as he stretched his arms.

    ["Eh, whatever I''m too tired to try find out"]

    Soro closed his computer and placed it on his desk, he then got on to his bed and closed his eyes only to regret it soon after the nightmare that awaited him in his sleep. He began to see his friends, family and loved ones in a pitch black room, the room began to get darker, they then turned around from him and started to walk away, he reached his hand out and tried to call for them but not even he could hear his own voice, shortly he woke up in shock. He grabbed his cheek and gently pinched it.

    ["Ah it was a dream, what a relief"]

    He then began to feel a burning sensation on his right eye as if acid had been splashed on it, he screamed in pain as he rushed off to the bathroom and got in right before Takimi was about to enter, Takimi started banging on the door.

    "HEY! WHAT THE HELL I WAS GOING FIRST"

    "Uh...give me a minute...AGHH!"

    Takimi began to become worried after hearing him scream.

    "What was that just now, are you okay in there ?"

    "....I''m fine j-j-just one moment"

    "Soro if your injuries are getting worse just tell me"

    Soro looked at the mirror to try see why his right eye was hurting so much but the eye pad dressing was covering it, he removed it to try get a closer look at his eye, there was something mysterious about it, his right eye had turned completely light blue and was glowing like a lamp, it had a white mark covering the center like some sort of symbol.

    "Huh, am I seeing this correctly"

    He rubbed his eyes and smacked both of his cheeks then looked at the mirror again but his right eye remained the same.

    "HUH!?!?!"

    Takimi began to bang on the door again out of curiosity.

    "Whats the matter, did something happen !?"

    "No! it''s nothing I promise"

    "Jeez why don''t you just tell me so I can help you, I''m gonna go eat breakfast, tell me when you''re done"

    "Alright I will"

    Soro placed his hand underneath his right eye as he continued to look at it through his reflection.

    He then began rapidly blinking his eyes in attempt to turn his right eye back to normal, after a short while it stopped glowing as the white mark started vanishing, and the burning could no longer be felt however the blue color still remained.

    Soro walked out of the apartment and made his way to his high school. Upon arrival he caught a glance of someone with a female figure and the school uniform running towards him, he squinted his eyes and noticed it was a girl with bright pink hair the color of a cherry blossom tree.

    ["No way, could it be..."]

    The girl opened her mouth as she yelled out with a tone of relief mixed with some anger.

    "SORO!!!"

    There was no mistake, the girl running towards him was no other than Akame Cheiko. Soro raised his arm and began to wave it around.

    "Hey how have you b-"

    She leaped towards him and hugged him tightly before he could finish his sentence, she began to grip onto him tighter as she spoke with a sad tone as if she was about to cry.

    "I can''t believe you Soro! I told you to not go running off on your own, you could of died or even worse!"

    "Uh Akame..."

    "I have been worried sick thinking you wasn''t ever wake up from your coma, Yugo said you would be fine, but I couldn''t help think your condition was worse than it looked!"

    "Akam..."

    "You never listen to me Soro! you''re always so reckless"

    Soro''s voice began to become quieter every time he spoke

    "Ak..ame..."

    "Huh what is it"

    "I....c-c-can''t breathe...."

    She let go of him as he gasped for air with a dramatic expression on his face.

    "Jeez Akame, are you trying to put me on a coma again or something ?"

    Soro looked at her with a confused face

    "Alright! let''s head to class Yugo is probably dying to see you"

    Both of them walked into the school and entered the classroom only to find the rest of the students causing complete havoc. One was holding a ton of pencils and rubbers in the air without actually touching it, another was smiling as he was igniting a small flame from his finger while others watched him, there was even a boy who had one large horn sticking out of his head like a devil of sorts. A man stepped out of the havoc and met eyes with Soro, it was Yugo. Both of them reached their hands out and smacked them across each other like a high five, Yugo smiled.

    "So you''re alive huh"

    "Yep, it wasn''t my time just yet, hehe"

    "Heh that''s good to hear, so how have you been coping"

    "The usual, nothing new"

    "Alright, we can talk more after class I''ve got to finish off some work, ignore these showoffs by the way, they are just seeking attention because of their ability.

    "Right, I had nearly forgotten about those until I walked in here, so some of the students have them too huh ?"

    "Yea pretty much, it''s turned our school to a complete disaster though, everyone who got hit by a revolt arrow is now the center of attention, even though most of their half-assed abilities are only capable of doing small things such as moving a pencil to their hand without touching it."

    Yugo walked off passed the crowd and sat down on his desk, he began writing on his book as he usually would. Soro began to experience a familiar feeling on his lower body.

    He turned around and began to walk out of class, Akame called out to him.

    "Soro, where are you going class is about to start ?"

    "I need to take a piss"

    "Oh alright then"

    Soro made his way down the corridor and turned on a corner only to bump into a large man wearing the school uniform walking the opposite direction, Soro fell over and got back up shortly after.

    "Hey man what the hell"

    He raised his head to see the face of the man, it looked somewhat familiar but he couldn''t recall exactly who it was, the man smiled aggressively as he cracked his knuckles.

    "Soro Matako, it''s been a while"

    "Nani ? who the f*ck are you ?"

    The man started tilting his neck around as if he was getting warmed up. He then tensed both of his arms, the outline of his large muscles started appearing from his shirt.

    "You really don''t remember huh ? maybe this will help"

    He raised his arm and pointed at a scratch on his nose, Soro then realized exactly who it was, there was no doubt, it was the student he had hit with his bag when coming to school on the day of the strange rainfall, but somehow he looked different, it was as if he had grown taller and his muscles had gotten larger, but how could this be possible in just a week ?

    "Woah! you''re that guy who was in my way of getting to school last week, listen man sorry about your nose"

    "Nah, sorry ain''t gonna cut it kid, you wanna know a little something ? I got hit by a revolt arrow and my ability allows me to use around 80% of my strength, the normal human body is somewhere around 40 to 50 so i''m pretty much the strongest guy around here right now hehe"

    Soro looked at him with a smug look on his face.

    "Really, 80% ? not even 100 ?, that''s honestly pretty sh*t my dude"

    The student became enraged as he clenched his hands into fists

    "NOW YOU''VE DONE IT, I''M GONNA BREAK YOUR FACE IN TWO"

    "Ah crap"

 Chapter 8 - Vanished

    "Alright look uh...what''s your name ?"

    "ROKORO!"

    "Alright Rokoro, before you go off trying to beat the crap out of me, I should warn you of my unique ability

    "AND WHAT''S THAT !?"

    Soro looked at him in the eye with a brave smile on his face.

    "I can control fire and water and wind and I can also shrink someone to the size of an ant and step on them"

    "Yeah well, my ability has a lot of exceptions you see..."

    "ALRIGHT THEN HOW ABOUT WE FIND OUT WHO''S ABILITY IS STRONGER !"

    ["Oh boy, I thought my bluff would scare him but it provoked him even more, this guy is too dense, I have to try something else"]

    Soro looked behind him and simply stared without blinking an inch as if he had seen a ghost, Rokoro eventually turned around from the curiosity of what Soro was looking at only to find that he had been looking at a wall the entire time, he turned around again and Soro was nowhere to be found, he had completely fled the area as soon as Rokoro had turned around to see what he was looking at.

    "WHAT THE HELL YOU COWARD!"

    He began to blindly run across the corridor hoping to find where Soro went but he could not catch a trace of him, Soro could not have gotten very far in such a short period of time due to his poor physical level, and yet it was as if he had hastily sprinted out of the area in a couple of seconds, he had to have gone somewhere. Soro leaned on the door against him as he closed it, he had luckily managed to get inside a random nearby classroom with a windowless door. All the other students in the classroom including the teacher stared at him as soon as he walked in, the students in the room began to whisper to each other while keeping an eye on him, soon after Soro heard a familiar voice call out to him.

    "Soro ? What the hell are you doing here !?!"

    A familiar looking mildly-short girl with light brown hair and eyes walked up to him.

    "Ah Takimi it''s you, what''s up ?"

    "What ? I should be asking you that you idiot, what are you doing in my classroom ?"

    Soro scratched the back of his head as he grinned.

    "Ah well you see..."

    "You know what, I''m in the middle of a game right now so I can''t be asked"

    A large rumble began to surround the area he was in, shortly after footsteps of a person could be heard.

    Soro got up from the ground and wiped the dust off his trousers, he then turned turned his body around to the opposite direction of where the sound was coming from and began to run, however something did not feel right, although his legs were moving he could not feel the ground beneath his feet, it was as if he was being held in the air, he turned his head around only to spot the enraged face of Rokoro who was gripping onto his shoulders.

    "DID YOU THINK I WOULDN''T FIND YOU  !?!"

    Rokoro then lifted him up higher to the air and positioned his body straight.

    "Woah woah let''s relax there buddy, we can settle this like gentlemen"

    "LIKE HELL WE CAN!"

    He launched Soro down the corridor as if he were throwing something as light as a ball. A blonde student with short hair surrounded by two girls showed up next to the wall Soro was about to crash on. Just as Soro was about to reach the group the blonde man noticed him headed this way and put his right hand out. Shining white ropes with a yellow glowing aura began to materialize out of thin air and tangled around each other to form a mattress shape, it then levitated and caught Soro just before he reached the blonde man. He walked slightly forward and looked at Soro with an annoyed expression on his face.

    "You little shit, you nearly hit me with your unpleasant body, how dare you even make me use my extraordinary ability on scum like you"

    Rokoro who was standing at the other side of the corridor began running towards him with an angry look on his face getting ready to punch the blonde man.

    The blonde man looked at Rokoro dead in the eye as he spoke with an annoyed tone.

    "You are going to regret those words you imbecile..."

    The blonde man put his hand up once more, glowing ropes started to materialize around Rokoro, they tangled around his arms and legs and tightly restrained him. Rokoro attempted to struggle out of the binding but it had no effect, his movement was limited to only his head.

    "Is this all you got ? you dare attempt to attack me with a puny ability such as that ?"

    The girls who were with him before began to speak.

    "Come on Toumo let''s go already "

    "Yeah, the movie starts in 2 hours, and you promised you would watch it with us"

    The bind of ropes that had caught Soro had now started to wrap around him tightly, the man raised his hand up in the air and began to materialize floating ropes around his hand, the ropes began to tangle into a shape of a giant spear.

    He walked passed the hurdle of students and accidentally bumped his shoulder onto one of them, the student standing taller than Soro looked down at him with an annoyed expression on his face.

    Soro eventually made his way to the classroom exit, as he opened the door he met eyes with Akame who was about to enter through the same door.

    "Soro, how did you get here ? I just went out to look for you since you were taking so long and none of the boys that usually hang around the toilet area said they saw you go in"

    "You should treat this, it could get infected"

    "Will do" Akame took her hand off Soros cheek and walked passed him.

    As Akame walked further into the classroom her red blossom eyes lit up for a split second. Shortly after Soro''s eyes also lit up for a moment however he didn''t realize it.

 Chapter 10 - The Clairvoyant

    Soro carefully tip-toed across the hallway trying to make little to no sound, he had no intentions of crossing paths with Rokoro or the blonde man again whatsoever. He heard a group of people talking on the side of the hallway where the toilet was located. Soro quickly went against the wall to spy on them.

    "Haha, that''s so slick dude"

    "Yeah, I got even more where that came from"

    Soro took a deep breath as he began to overthink how he would get passed them and into the toilet.

    ["Alright so from what I can tell there''s around 4 of them. I should be able to walk right passed, once they are distracted. Timing is key in a situation like this"]

    As soon as they began talking again Soro started to rapidly walk towards the toilet avoiding any eye contact with the group of 4. He put his hand on the handle of the door, however one of the students among the group with green spiky hair spotted him and spoke.

    "Oi, you there!"

    Soro froze in shock for a second then turned around and looked at him with a straight face that he obviously forced on.

    "Yes....?"

    "You can''t go in those toilets"

    "Why is that ?"

    "Because we are using it ?"

    Soro flinched his eyebrows.

    "But, you guys are over there....."

    "I said, we''re using it"

    He lifted up his hand as an almost transparent pink aura began to form a ring around it. He then smirked.

    "Get lost kid"

    One of the students called out to the one with green hair and showed him his phone.

    The aura from his hand began to disappear as the student turned around to see the video on the phone. They began to converse it with the others among them. Soro used this moment to quickly open the door and go inside the toilet. He grinned with a sense of relief.

    After finishing his business, he walked over to the sink and attempted to lift up the handle to release the water, however it wasn''t moving in the slightest. He grabbed it with both arms and started to pull it up with all his strength.

    After a short while the handle jolted all the way up and water began to burst onto the sink creating a large rumble in the toilet.     They began to spread out looking everywhere for Soro, at one point they even looked in one of the toilets to see if he was in there.

    "He is gone"

    The green haired student began to sweat from looking around the small place with three other people. He grabbed a tissue and raised his head as closed his eyes to wipe the sweat from his face, he then opened his eyes and spotted Soro hanging on the wire of a large thick lamp on the ceiling. The student grinned at him.

    "Thought you could hide eh ? prepare for a bea-"

    Soro dropped from the wire and fell on top his head making the student slam down on to the floor before he could finish what he was about to say. The other students were alerted. They turned around and spotted Soro nervously smiling as he sat down on top of the green haired students face.

    "GET THAT LITTLE SHIT"

    Soro got up and ran out of the toilet and in to the hallway. The other students chased after him. One of them had hair beginning to rapidly grow out of his head, he pulled out large chunks of it and started to roll it around on his palms to form a ball shape making it harder, he began repeatedly throwing them at Soro completely ignoring the fact that he was missing almost every shot.

    Soro slowed down as he reached the corner of the hallway and quickly turned right, he bumped into a bearded man wearing a suit, however the man did not budge one bit. He looked up to see his face.

    Standing in front of him was a staff member of the school who taught in the science department. Soro caught a small glimpse of someone standing behind the teacher. He tilted his head and spotted Akame standing there with a relieved look on her face.

    "Akame ? What are you doing here ?"

    "I came here to help you deal with those guys"

    She pointed directly behind him, a moment later the students who were chasing Soro arrived at the corner of the hallway. They began to walk up closer to him.

    "There you are"

    The teacher took a step closer to Soro.

    "That''s enough ! leave or you will be punished for violating the rules"

    The three students looked at each other with an annoyed face. The one with hair growing out of his head took a step forward, he held a ball of hardened hair behind his back so it couldn''t be seen by the teacher.

    "Hey come on, we were just messing around with him"

    "That''s not what I''m seeing"

    The student pointed at the ceiling behind the teacher.

    "Hey teach, what''s that over there ?"

    The teacher turned around to see where he was pointing. At this very moment the student took out the ball of hair from behind him and launched it directly towards Soro''s face. Soro''s natural reflexes mad him duck down to avoid it. The ball of hair landed on the staff members cheek knocking him over to the ground. The student started taking steps back as he looked at the teacher with a scared expression.

    "Shit!, we gotta bounce"

    He ran off along with the two other students. Akame hurried over to the teacher who had fallen and helped him up.

    "Are you alright ?"

    He got up and rubbed his hand on the cheek that had been hit.

    "They''ve done it now, those boys are in big trouble"

    Soro looked at the teacher.

    "What should we do ?"

    "Just head back to class, I will deal with them"

    The staff member walked off into the hallway and entered a nearby office. Soro glanced over at Akame.

 Chapter 11 - First Foe

    "EH !? YOU !? ABILITY !?"

    Soro turned around and held his phone up to his chest. He began dialing the number 5500071 on it. He then turned his head around and look at Akame.

    "Finished, what now ?"

    "Now stare at your phone"

    Soro turned his head again and looked down at the digits on his phone. Both Akame and Soro''s eyes lit up for a split second.

    Soro turned around and looked at Akame with a shocked expression on his face.

    "Woah! How did you know !?"

    She walked over to Soro, who was currently helping him self to a food tray and picked one up for herself. They both got their meals and sat down next to Yugo. Soro picked up a burger from his food tray and then glanced over at Yugo''s which was completely full.

    "Hey Yugo you need to eat"

    "I''m not hungry, I ate at home this morning"

    "Hasn''t it been like 4 hours since then ?"

    "No, it''s only been 3 hours and 43 minutes"

    A group of people sitting behind them began creating a massive rumble, throwing their food trays at each other and banging on the table. It started getting even more noisier when one of them decided to use their ability to shoot mini beams at knives and forks that were being thrown in the air.  Akame, having tried to ignore the noise coming from behind her, for quite some time now finally stood up and walked over to them. She slammed her hand on their table with an enraged look on her face.

    "CAN YOU GUYS KEEP IT DOWN !"

    The group of people paused and looked at her. A tall large blonde student got up from his seat and walked over to her. He leaned down to see her face.

    "Hmm, what do we have here ?"

    He placed his hand on Akame''s chin and raised her head up so she would make eye contact with him.

    "What''s your name ?"

    "It''s Akame, and get your hand off me"

    She smacked his hand off her chin. The blonde student smiled.

    "I don''t care what your name is, tell your friends over there to stop making so much noise, it''s really annoying"

    Mako turned over to the group of people he was sitting with and smirked.

    The group smiled and whispered to each other as if they were plotting something. Mako turned around once more and looked at Akame. He raised his eyebrows.

    Akame turned around and went back to the table Yugo and Soro were sitting on. Soro looked at her as she sat down.

    "Are you alright Akame ?"

    Yugo raised his head from the book he was reading and lightly smiled at Akame.

    Soro looked at Yugo with an impressed face.

    "Did you just smile ?"

    Yugo raised the book on his hands to cover his face.

    Akame giggled at both of them. Soro turned his head to look at her. His eyes widened as he spotted a student standing behind her with a plate of lasagna held on his hands.

    It was too late for Akame to react. The student smiled as he spilled the food on his plate on top of Akame''s head. Both Soro and Akame jolted out of their seats. Yugo remained sitting as he glared at the student with a sharp look on his eyes. Akame turned around and swung her arm towards the students face, however the student managed to grab it before it hit him. He gripped onto her arm tightly to purposely injure her as he smiled.

    "Now now, it''s not nice to attack your fellow seniors"

    Akame tried to struggle out of his grip.

    "Tch...Let go !"

    Soro gritted his teeth in anger, he ran up to him with his arm raised, he was completely ready to throw a punch at him.

    "YOU BASTARD!"

    As Soro''s fist just about reached the students face it was blocked by the large hand of Mako who was now standing behind the student. Mako looked down at Soro and smiled.

    "This doesn''t involve you kid"

    Soro quickly grabbed an empty food tray on a table beside his other arm and launched it at Mako. The tray hit his face before falling on the ground. Mako clenched his hands as he furiously glared at Soro.

    "Now you''ve angered me"

    He raised his hand up getting ready to throw a punch at Soro. Before things further escalated a tall muscular man who usually kept guard of the school gates, had slammed the door of the lunch hall open. Next to him was a short girl who had most likely told him about the situation. The teacher looked over at Soro''s direction.

    "What do you boys think you''re doing !? eat your damn food or get out !!"

    The entire lunch hall had gone dead silent after what the man had said, as if everyone had lost the courage to speak. After a short while students began to whisper to each other.

    "That''s him right ?"

    "Yeah, I heard he spent time in prison before working as a guard for the school"

    "Shhhh....he might hear you"

    Mako growled at Soro.

    He began to walk off with the group of students from before. The one who had gripped Akame''s hand let go and followed them. Mako turned around before exiting the lunch hall and looked over at Soro.

    "I''ll be waiting for you outside after school, you better be there or else"

 Chapter 12 - Afterschool

    "Are you hurt anywhere Akame ?"

    "No I''m fine, I''m gonna go wash it off before it stains"

    Akame walked out of the lunch hall. Yugo put his book down and looked at Soro.

    "What are you going to do ?"

    "What do you mean ?"

    "That imbecile challenged you to a fight, what are you going to do ?"

    Soro put his hand on his chin.

    "Oh yea, I haven''t thought about that, do you think I can beat him ?"

    "......."

    "Eh ? Why have you gone quiet"

    "Soro I understand you might be mad because of what they did to Akame, believe me I am quite annoyed my self, but think about it logically, you can''t expect to win against someone like him, I can tell by the way he speaks that he fights dirty, so he will probably do anything he can to make it as unfair as possible"

    "I know that, but what else am I supposed to do ? If I just apologize then it shows that I''m scared and vulnerable"

    "I still think you should refrain from fighting him. Is there anything I could say to change your mind ?"

    "You could say you''ll buy you lunch for the next month"

    "Haha, alright I''m gonna go check on Akame"

    Soro walked out of the lunch hall and stood outside the nearest girls toilet. He then began to shout.

    The two of them went to their final class, they moved their desks next to Yugo. Akame took out a blank piece of paper from her bag and placed it on his desk. Soro grabbed a pen from his pocket and handed it to Yugo.

    "Alright so how are we gonna do this ?"

    Yugo gently pushed his glasses closer to his eyes.

    "I think it would be best to stay in the building for at least 20 minutes, that way they may think you already left before they could reach the gate.

    Yugo began to doodle out a map of the school. He pointed at the school entrance on the paper.

    "They will most likely be around here, waiting to ambush you"

    Yugo then pointed at the computer room located towards the back of the school.

    "This room is usually open after school for students who want to complete homework or study, we can stay there while we monitor them"

    Akame looked at Yugo with a confused expression.

    "Monitor them ?"

    "Yes, that''s when you come in, if possible I want you to use your ability on Mako or one of his friends that will most likely be with him at the time. That way we will know where they are at all times"

    "Easy. I already used my ability earlier on that idiot who spilled his food on me"

    The school bell rang soon after. The three of them got up and began packing their things. They quickly walked out of the classroom and headed to the computer room. Soro sat down on a chair.

    "So what happens now ?"

    Yugo took out a book from his bag.

    "We wait while we watch their every move"

    Akame took a seat next to Soro and then activated her ability.

    Mako put his hands on his pockets and spat on the ground.

    The student who spilled food on Akame leaned over on the entrance wall.

    "He was probably so scared he chose to stay inside"

    He took a pack of cigarettes out of his pocket and looked around to make sure no teachers were watching. He then spotted three girls walking towards the gate of the school. One of them being Takimi.

    "Daichi, she looks a little young"

 Chapter 13 - Fight

    "What do you mean they have my sister !?"

    "They found her walking out the school and took her"

    Soro got up from his seat and began heading to the exit.

    Yugo slapped his book shut.

    "Wait a minute Soro"

    Soro paused.

    "What is it ?"

    "I''m pretty sure they will just let your sister go, they don''t even know if you know they took her so it would be pretty useless for them to keep her around"

    "Still, I can''t just sit around here and watch my sister be held against her will!"

    Soro opened the door and left the room running.

    Soro reached the exit of the school building. He went around to a corner and spotted Mako holding Takimi with a group of other students behind him. Mako smiled.

    "Heh, serves you right"

    Mako turned around to walk off but stopped after hearing Soro mumble.

    "Asshead....."

    Mako turned around and saw Soro on his knees attempting to get back up. Mako walked up to him with a grin on his face.

    "Still not done huh ?"

    Soro stood up with both his arms held up high. Blood began dripping out of his nose. Mako swung his hand towards Soro''s jaw. Soro blocked the punch with his arm. Mako then swung at him again, Soro put his other arm forward getting ready to block it, however before the punch reached him Mako changed the angle and hit Soro on the side of his neck. Soro fell sideways as he began to twitch around.

    "Don''t fuck with me kid"

    Mako turned around and walked towards the group of students who were behind him before.

    "Do whatever you want with him"

    Daichi let go of Takimi as he walked over to join the rest of the students. Takimi ran up to Soro as tears drained down her face.

    "SORO, PLEASE BE OKAY!"

    "Agh...."

    "WE NEED TO GO TO THE NURSE IS OFFICE"

    Takimi put Soro''s arm around her shoulder and began to help him get up. The students from before surrounded her. Daichi stepped forward.

    "Now now, where do you think you''re going"

    "Isn''t that obvious you asshole, I''m going to help treat my brother"

    "Who said we were done with him"

    "I did, now move out of my way"

    She attempted to walk passed Daichi but he put his arm out to stop her.

    "Hey did you hear me I said beat it!"

    Daichi slapped Takimi on the cheek causing her to fall over along with Soro.

    "I''ve had it with your arrogance, know your place"

    Takimi growled.

    "I''ve had it with you is well!"

    She got up and hurriedly punched Daichi in his jaw. Daichi took a step back from the impact.

    "Tch!, that''s it"

    Daichi ran up to her and landed a blow on her face. Takimi fell onto the ground once again. Soro jolted up in anger and tackled Daichi. The other students grabbed his arms and legs from behind and held him still. Daichi began to crack his knuckles.

    "You and your sister are alike, you both don''t know when to give up"

    He punched Soro on the stomach. Soro coughed out in pain.

    "Heh, I hope you don''t mind if I take my time"

    Daichi began continuously punching Soro on the stomach.

    One of the students let go of Soro with a concerned look on his face.

    "Daichi man I think that''s enough"

    "SHUT IT!"

    Daichi punched the student on the jaw making him onto the ground. He then began punching Soro again.

    ["I couldn''t even help Akame when he spilled food on her hair. I couldn''t even protect my sister from people like this. Worse of all...I couldn''t even defend my self...."]

    He began to lose consciousness, but at the same time he could hear a quiet voice echoing in his head. It was as if someone was calling out to him.

    "...Soro!..."

    ["Who....who is that..?"]

    The voice began to get louder each time it called out to him.

    "....Soro!..."

    He slowly opened his eyes and saw a blur of a girl running towards him, she had long bright pink hair the color of cherry blossoms. As she began approaching him Soro could see a blur of several people running  towards her.

    ["Akame.....is that you....?"]

    "...Soro!..."

    She was grabbed by them and pushed onto the ground.

    ["No....not again..."]

    Soro''s right eye began glowing.

 Chapter 14 - Nightmare

    "LET HER GO!"

    A rush of air surrounded the area blowing small objects such as leaves sky high. The students started grabbing on to a wall so they wouldn''t fall. Daichi became even more angered.

    "So you were hiding an ability huh ? Am I so pathetic that you wouldn''t even use it on me"

    He threw a punch at Soro but he managed to block it with his palm.

    "Tch!"

    Daichi threw another punch, this time it landed on Soro''s temple. Daichi smiled aggresively.

    "What now huh !?"

    The eye pad on Soro''s face fell off from the impact and his right glowing eye could be seen clear as day. Daichi grabbed Soro by the jaw and raised his head up.

    "So that''s where your ability is coming from huh ?"

    He began smiling.

    "A weak little shit like you doesn''t deserve an ability, how about I take it from you ?"

    He grabbed a stick and raised it in the air, pointing it towards Soro''s right eye. Akame attempted to get up from the ground.

    "NOOOO !"

    Daichi swung the stick directly at Soro''s right eye. A second before the stick could come into contact with Soro''s eye a massive shock wave burst out of it. Daichi was launched in the air, his back was slammed onto the school wall with great force. He fell down completely unconscious. The rest of the students who were grabbing onto him had also been blown away from the force. Mako who had been smoking on the other side ran to the area.

    "Eh, what was that noise"

    He lowered his head and spotted Daichi completely unconcious on the floor with a large cut on his back. He then looked straight ahead and saw Soro limping towards Akame who had not been effected by the shockwave.

    "Hey kid, did you do this ?"

    Soro glanced at Mako dead in the eye.

    "Piss off...."

    "EH, WHAT DID YOU SAY ?"

    Mako rushed over to Soro attempting to tackle him. However before he could reach Soro another shock wave burst out of his right eye sending Mako flying across the school. Soro fell down on his knees. Akame got up from the ground and ran over to Soro with the little energy she had left.

    "SORO...."

    Soro smiled lightly.

    "Akame....are you alright...?"

    "I SHOULD BE ASKING YOU THAT!"

    Soro began intensely coughing for a moment.

    "Wheres...yugo....."

    "HE WENT TO GET THE NURSE HE WILL BE BACK IN A MINUTE, JUST LAY DOWN AND GET SOME REST...PLEASE"

    "Hey....Akame...."

    "STOP TALKING YOU''LL GET WORSE IDIOT"

    Soro slightly smirked. He was so glad that he could protect Akame this time that he didn''t care about his own well being.

    "I won...Akame....I...."

    Soro''s right eye began glowing twice as brighter than before. His right eye began burning and the pain only grew worse. He tried to ignore it at first, but seconds later his eye shone even brighter and the pain intensified tenfold. He began screaming in pain with both his hands placed on his right eye.

    "AGHH...."

    "Soro what''s wrong !?"

    The pain was not lessening. Soro could feel something was about to happen.

    "GET AWAY FROM ME !"

    "What are you talking about !?"

    "I SAID GET AWAY !"

    A light blue aura started appearing on Soro''s body. It was as if something was possessing him. Akame backed away from him with a look of terror on her face. Moments later Yugo showed up with a female nurse. Yugo froze after seeing Soro screaming on the ground.

    "WHAT''S GOING ON !?"

    The female nurse ran up to Soro and put her hand on his shoulder.

    "Listen to me, i''m gonna need you to calm down for a moment, I don''t understand the pain your in right now but I do know that panicking won''t help"

    Soro paid no attention to what she was saying. The pain he felt was too great for him to pay attention to anything else. The aura surrounding him began to grow larger as it slightly burnt the nurse is hand.

    "Aghh..."

    Soro''s vision started becoming blury. He could no longer see straight or hear properly. At the very same time Akame could no longer sit and watch him struggle. She ran up to him and held him by her arms.

    "SORO...."

    Soro''s eyes began slowly closing. He had completely passed out from the overwhelming pain, and with this began a nightmare he would never forget. He was in a pitch black room with nothing but darkness. Soon after a familiar voice called out to him from behind.

    "Monster..."

    Soro turned around and saw Akame standing in the dark room a couple of feet away from him, she had a disappointed look on her face. He began approaching her, he was so relieved that she was safe.

    "Akame...."

    As he reached her she slowly began to disappear as if she were a ghost the entire time. Moments later Soro heard another voice call out to him from behind. It was Yugo.

    "You couldn''t even protect her...."

    Soro turned around and started walking towards him.

    "Yugo...what are you talking about ?"

    Yugo then completely vanished, and so it continued. This time Takimi called out to him.

    "Why did you let them do that, you''re supposed to protect me big brother...."

    Soro turned around and ran to Takimi to try quickly grab onto her, but it was no use, his arms went right through her as she began disappearing.

    ["What the hell is going on....?"]

    Soro stood in the dark room for a couple of seconds, he was expecting someone else he knew to show up behind him, but instead he began to hear voices in his head overlapping each other.

    The voices stopped, and a loud deafening sound of a bell started ringing in his head repeatedly. This was no ordinary nightmare, nightmares usually have something or someone coming after you, but this was nothing like that, this was pure torture. Tears began rolling down Soro''s face as the ringing intensified.

    "STOP....!!!"

    Everything went blank. He could no longer see, smell, hear or feel a thing. He had become completely numb, and with that his eyes opened.

 Chapter 15 - AID

    He looked at the ceiling and saw a familiar lamp hanging from it.

    ["I''m back here again..."]

    He had been hospitalized once again after the incident. He looked around his body and spotted bandages all around him. However the question on his mind wasn''t how badly his injuries where, but rather how long he had been passed out for this time. A voice spoke out to him from his side.

    "Good morning Soro, we have a couple of questions we need to ask you"

    A man and a woman in a black suit walked up to him with a piece of paper and pen on their hands. Soro turned to face them with a confused look on his face.

    "Who are you ?"

    The man grabbed a chair near the bed Soro was laying on and sat down on it.

    "My name is Roso and the woman next to me is Tanya. We both work in the Ability Investigation Department also known as AID"

    They both reached for their pockets and took out their business cards holding it in front of Soro for him to read.

    "I''m sorry I don''t think I understand what that is"

    They put their business cards away. Roso held both of this hands together.

    "You see ever since the outbreak of supernatural abilities the government has issued a group of trained individuals such as us to deal with people who misuse their abilities for crimes such as murder or robbery"

    Soro slightly tilted his head.

    "I never did any of those things"

    "We are aware you did not commit any extreme crime however your school has reported that you used your ability inappropriately in the school premises. We have been told that you harmed several students. Most of them only have minor injuries, however two of them are currently in this hospital being treated after being found with severe fractures on their body. Mako Yutaro and Daichi Sukasa, have you heard of those names before ?"

    He could tell he was in a whole new level of trouble. Usually in situations like these where school fights break out, the police and head teacher would be the one taking care of things. However this time was different, the people standing right next to him were most likely in higher authority than an everyday police officer or head teacher. This meant that whatever Soro said at this very moment, could have a big impact on what happens to him later on.

    "Never heard of them"

    Tanya took a step closer to him as she stared into his left eye. His right was being covered by a new eye pad bandage.

    Soro raised an eyebrow.

    Roso looked at her and then looked at Soro once again. He had an unpleasant look on his face as if he was disappointed at Soro''s respose.

    "Soro, I insist you tell us the truth."

    Tanya crossed her arms.

    "Listen, I have an ability just like you. It allows me to do unimaginable things, one of them is being able to hear what people around me are thinking, so there''s really no point in trying to lie"

    Roso leaned back on the chair and crossed his legs. He wasn''t worried about a single thing, it was as if he had done this kind of thing a million times already.

    "I will ask again Soro, do the names I mentioned earlier sound familiar to you ?"

    Soro had to answer truthfully. If what Tanya said was true then it''s impossible for him to try manipulate his words.

    "Yes, they are the people who harassed my sister"

    Roso looked at Tanya. She carefully nodded. He then looked at Soro.

    "They harassed your sister did you say ?"

    "Yes, that''s the reason I went up to them in the first place"

    "I see..."

    He began taking notes down on a piece of paper. There was a cold atmosphere surrounding the room. Everything was under the control of the two people next to him. They were the ones who decide what happens next, and all Soro could do was go along with the flow. Roso placed the pen he was writing with down.

    "Alright, we will look into what you just said, however due to the injuries you inflicted upon the students, your head teacher has requested to see you first thing tomorrow morning to discuss your punishment. As for us, we will need to register your ability down on our database so we can understand your threat level."

    Soro was speechless.

    "I''m sorry what ?"

    "We need you to describe your ability to us"

    "I cannot do that"

    "We insist yo-"

    Soro quickly interrupted him before he could finish speaking.

    "I don''t know what my ability is or what it does"

    Roso slowly shaked his head in disappointment.

    "As my assistant Tanya stated before, lying to us will be of no use"

    Tanya''s eyes widened in surprise.

    "He is telling the truth"

    Roso got up from his seat.

    "How could that be ? The report clearly states he used his ability to harm the other students. "

    "I don''t know, however I can try use my ability to find out"

    "Very well then"

    Tanya walked up to Soro and faced him.

    "Could you show me where you were hit by a revolt arrow ?"

    The question she asked him was awfully strange. It''s not like he didn''t know the answer. It was more that he had no idea what she was planning to do to him.

    Still he couldn''t give her a fake answer as she would know in an instant. Soro took off the new eye pad dressing the hospital had put on him and opened his right eye.

    A light shade of blue surrounded it. Tanya was shocked after seeing his eye being the location where the revolt arrow hit him. She leaned close to his face and stared at his right eye.

    "I am now going to use my ability on your right eye, you may be unable to move once I do this, I can assure you it''s perfectly normal"

    "Okay..."

    Both of her eyes which were usually a light shade of grey had turned completely red. Moments later a very thin ray of light connected both of her eyes to his right eye. She stood completely still as she began concentrating. Roso looked at Tanya.

    "Well... ? you see anything ?"

    Tanya slowly shook her head.

    "No, not yet"

    A second after she spoke, her eyes widened and began to tremble intensely. Roso could tell something was wrong.

    "What''s the matter ?"

    Tanya did not respond, instead she began heavily breathing in and out as if she had ran several miles. Roso grabbed Tanya by the shoulder.

    "Tanya, what is it !?"

    A red aura began glowing out of her body slowly burning her skin. She screamed in pain.

    "AGHHHHH!!!"

    Roso began panicking. He had never seen something like this happen to Tanya before. He put both his hands on her head and pushed her head down so she would no longer stare at Soro''s right eye. The ray of light that connected her eyes to Soro''s instantly vanished. Moments later blood burst out of her eyes as she fell completely unconscious.

 Chapter 16 - Unbelievable

    The paralysis making Soro unable to move no longer had any effect. He came back to his senses and spotted Tanya out cold on his bed. Roso had ran out of the room to look for help.

    "Can I get a nurse in room 83 !!"

    A tall woman with long purple hair ran over to him. It was the same nurse that helped Soro last time he was in the hospital.

    "I''m a nurse, what''s the problem ?"

    "My associate is severely injured in the room behind me"

    The nurse ran into the room and saw Tanya out cold with blood all over the bed sheet.

    "What happened here !?!"

    She glanced over and noticed Soro next to Tanya.

    "Have I seen you before ?"

    Soro turned and looked at her, he was completely unaware of the situation and lost for words. He just slowly got up and took a step back away from Tanya. The nurse went over to Tanya and checked her pulse.

    "She''s in a state of shock and losing blood by the second. We need to get her to an ER as fast as possible"

    Roso walked into the room.

    "I''ll help"

    They both walked over to Tanya and picked her up, they held her around their shoulders as they quickly walked out of the room and down the corridor. Soro just watched in confusion. He had no idea what happened while she was using her ability on him. Could he have done that ? Was he the one responsible ? If so then he had to go apologize and offer his help.

    After a second he realized something. The investigators who were interrogating  him had completely left the room. Now was his only opportunity to avoid being detained or worse for the incident.

    Deep down he knew this wasn''t the right thing to do, but he didn''t want to risk being put in a detention center. He wanted to at least make sure his sister and Akame were okay. Not only that but he also wanted to find out how long he was passed out for. Could it have been a week ? A month maybe ? Or even a year ?

    With so many questions on his mind he sprinted out of the room and went down the stairs. He quickly exited the hospital as fast as he could. He didn''t sign out through the office or anything, as far as the hospital were aware he was still in a coma. Soro walked over to an old man wearing a suit. He had to find out the time and date, as that would determine where he goes next.

    "Excuse me sir, could you tell me the date and time ?"

    The man raised his arm up and glanced at the watch on his wrist.

    "It''s 2:13 PM and today is Wednesday, why do you ask ?"

    Soro ignored his question and began running toward his school. The man just watched.

    "Eh?"

    If it was 2:33 PM it meant he had around 30 minutes before school ended to head there and make sure Takimi and Akame were doing fine. The distance from the hospital to the school would usually be a 2 hour walk. There was no way he could make it in time, but still he had no intentions of giving up. He just had to see them.

    It made sense that he was worried for the sake of his friends and family, but it seemed like he paid no attention to his own current state. I mean he had just got up from a coma of god knows how long, yet he still somehow decides to make sure the people he cares about are doing fine rather than himself.

    This was a great problem Soro had. He would always put people he knew first instead of himself. Even as a kid he would take the blame whenever he and his sister got in trouble.

    As he carelessly ran towards the school, he went onto a road without noticing his surroundings, a car had appeared on his side. He turned his head and noticed it soon after, however it was too late for him to try dodge it. The car was going at an enormous speed, it was clearly over the limit. Soro had no chance of avoiding it.

    He looked at the windscreen and saw a slight blur of the man who was driving it. He could make out a somewhat sinister expression on the mans face. It was as if he was smiling. Soro''s heart began pounding out of his chest, he didn''t want to die on the very day he woke up from a coma. What about his sister ? Who would take care of her if he wasn''t around ?

    For the second time in less than a month, he was about to witness the last couple of seconds before he transcended to the world of the dead. He closed his eyes completely shut and put his hands up to prepare for the impact.

    A couple of seconds went by, then later on a minute had passed. His eyes were still shut and he remained in the same position. How was this possible ?

    He knew for sure their was a car about to hit him, but why couldn''t he feel the impact ?

    Could it be that he is already dead ? Do people not feel anything before death ?

    He slowly opened his eyes, he was prepared to see the face of Satan looking down in front of him, but instead he saw something even more unbelievable. The face in front of him was not a person, but rather an object. What he saw in front of him was no other than the school gates.

 Chapter 17 - Headteacher

    He stood there in shock for a couple of moments.  He was still confused how this had happened, but if their was one thing he knew for sure, it was that this wasn''t the first time he had unexpectedly vanished from one location and appeared in another. Maybe there was some sort of trigger to it.

    Soro closed his eyes and began picturing a location in his mind for a couple of seconds, he then opened his eyes and looked around. It was no use, he was still in the same place as usual, which meant he couldn''t control it. After finally giving up he climbed over the gate of the school, due to it being locked during lesson times.

    ["Alright I need to find Takimi first"]

    He walked over to the main entrance and opened it. Normally the corridor would be filled with students skipping class to be on their phone, but this time no students were there, the only person around was Soro and a extraordinary tall man with short yellow hair. He had a large and wide figure, similar to one a superhero in a comic would usually have. He stood still with his arms crossed as he glared directly at Soro.

    Everyone in the entire school could feel the pressure in which he gave off. He was no ordinary man, because the man standing in front of Soro was in fact the head teacher. He was in power of the very grounds they both stood on as well as everything above it. The only problem was, Soro had never seen him before.

    The head teacher was a private man, he rarely walked around the hallways unless it was to head to his office or to leave the school. Most of the time he would order staff members around to get the things he needed. It was rumored that he had never spoken to a student once. Soro could  either consider himself being extremely lucky or extremely unfortunate.

    However he didn''t consider anything, as stated before Soro had no idea who he was nor did he even care. He was here to see Takimi, Akame and Yugo, that was final. He began walking forwards and went passed the head teacher. A sudden rumble rang in his ears as soon as he went passed him. It was like hundreds of tiny toothpicks had hit his eardrums.

    "Soro Matako!"

    The mans voice was heard across the entire hallway. Soro shivered slightly and turned around to face him.

    "Yes ?"

    The man spoke once again, however this time his voice wasn''t as loud as before.

    "May I see you in my office ?"

    Soro slightly tilted his head.

    "May I ask who you are ?"

    The man walked over to Soro, the heels on his shoes were digging onto the floor with every step. He then proceeded to slide his hand into one of his pockets as he took out a card.     He slowly raised his head up to look at Kosuke directly in the face.

    "Uh...where is your office ?"

    Kosuke raised his left arm and pointed towards a door straight ahead of him. Soro turned around and began walking towards it. Kosuke followed moments later. Once they both reached inside Kosuke took his suit jacket off and sat down across Soro. He took a deep breath as he placed his hands on the table between both of them.

    "Alright now that''s out of the way we can have a proper discussion"

    His voice was a lot lighter than before, it was as though he had completely calmed down in an instant. Soro couldn''t help but question him on it.

    "Erm...excuse me but weren''t you angry at me ?"

    Kosuke chuckled.

    "Haha of course not. You see as the head teacher I have to seem like a terrifying person for students, if theirs one thing that makes you respect someone it''s fear"

    "Then how comes you''re acting normal now ?"

    "Well let''s just say I''ve taken interest in you"

    ["I''m straight dude"]

    Kosuke seemed like a completely different person, his entire persona had changed. He seemed like a somewhat like-able person now.

    "I''ve seen camera footage of the little confrontation you had with some of your seniors"

    ["Where is this going ?"]

    Kosuke leaned back on the chair he was sitting on.

    "Now normally if something like this happened it would be my responsibility to have you heavily punished, however I have decided to let you choose what happens from here on out"

    "What do you mean ?"

    Kosuke cleared his throat before speaking.

    "You see theirs this new ''school'' that''s recently opened up in the country for people with supernatural abilities like you. It mostly serves to help young people find a purpose for their newly developed abilities. The ''school'' is quite far away however for your sake I will provide the necessary funds you will need to get their, as well as living expenses. Sounds like a good deal doesn''t it ? What do you say ?"

    That was a lot to take in for Soro. He had just met the man and now he was offering him a whole new world of opportunities free of cost. It sounded too good to be true. Soro was a little curious of him and this ''school'' he spoke of. I mean it had only been around three weeks since the night of the rainfall, how would they be able to build a school that fast ?

    "What if I refuse to go ?"

    "Well then you would most likely be detained and sent to juvenile prison for several years. On top of that, if the seniors you beat half to death were to press charges you would most likely be fined with a great sum. Failure to pay that off will most likely lead to your sentence being extended. I would assume that''s only the gist of it. Anymore questions ?"

    Soro was completely shook. He knew that he had injured them but it was all in self defense. They had injured him too, and their had to be proof of that. Soro slightly lifted his shirt up to look for any scars or evidence of him being attacked, but there was none. It was as if all that pain he felt from being constantly hit was just an illusion.

    ["How is this possible ? How long has it been for me to have recovered completely ?"]

    "Can I ask how long it''s been since that incident ?"

    "Ah yes, you probably don''t remember since you were unconscious. From the day of the incident up until now its been......4 months.

 Chapter 18 - New World Academy

    Soro froze for a moment.

    "I''m sorry......did you say 4 months ?"

    Kosuke slowly nodded.

    This entire time Soro thought he had only been unconscious for around a week. He never would of expected the outcome to be like this. If it had been 4 months since then what would Akame, Yugo and Takimi think of him right now. Could they be thinking he is dead ?

    "About that offer, can I take some time to think about it ?"

    "Sure, come back once you''ve decided"

    Soro got up from his seat and walked out. He had to see Takimi first.

    ["She should be in english class right now"]

    He headed to her classroom and looked through the window on the door. There he spotted Takimi leaning over with her hand on her chin. She was clearly bored out of her mind. Luckily things were about to get more interesting for her. Soro lightly knocked on the window of the door. Takimi slowly turned her head around and saw him waving at her with a cheeky smile on his face. She froze for a moment before getting up from her seat.

    The teacher in the class glanced at her.

    "Takimi, where do you think you''re going ?"

    "I''ll be back"

    Takimi opened the door. Soro reached over to hug her. However what he received in return wasn''t a hug but rather a large punch right on his jaw.     Yugo reached into his pocket and toke out a piece of paper.

    "She wanted me to give you this when you woke up"

    "She told me not to read it"

    "And you actually obeyed ?"

    Soro took the letter out of Yugo''s hand and read it.

    Soro slowly sighed.

    "Actually, I still need to figure that out"

    Yugo smirked.

    "Okay, see you later"

    Soro left the classroom. He had no choice but to accept Kosuke''s offer now that he knew Akame had actually went.

    He went into the main office. Kosuke was standing there about to lock the door to his office and leave. He turned his head around and spotted Soro standing next to him with a determined look on his face.

    "Ah, so have you decided already ?"

    Kosuke opened the door to his office and switched the lights back on. He made way for Soro to enter before him.

    "Alright then, come in"

    They both went inside the office. Soro sat down and looked at Kosuke in the eye.

    Kosuke picked up a bag beside him that was laying on the floor. He opened it up and began taking out a pile of papers. Soro''s eyes widened, there was no way he would be able to read all of that. Kosuke placed the papers on the desk.

    "Alright most of this you can read on your journey there rather than me explaining it to you"

    He took out a question sheet from the pile and slid it over to Soro.

    "Please fill this out"

    Soro picked up a pen that was on the table. He began reading the questions.

    Soro paused at this question. He looked over at Kosuke who was organizing the papers into order from the most important to the least.

    He filled out the rest of the questions with simple answers and handed the paper over to Kosuke. Soro nervously bit his lips.

    "Believe me I tried to extend the date as much as I could. However, the official opening of the academy is in 3 days and they said everyone must attend"

    It was hard enough to take in the fact he had to go to a prestige school to avoid being imprisoned, but now all of a sudden the head of the school wanted to speak to him ? What could possibly make this person want to speak to Soro of all people ?

    "What does he want to talk to me about ?"

    "Well for starters it''s a she. And she didn''t specify what the topic was. However she did tell me to tell you something"

    "She wanted me to tell you that she was the one who found you on the night of the fall"

    Soro''s eyes widened. He froze in shock for an entire minute. Kosuke began getting worried and waved his hands in front of Soro''s face to bring him back to his senses.

    "Hello !? Earth to Soro"

 Chapter 20 - Final Day

    As Soro began to space off he bumped into a short female student with cyan hair. She fell on her back and dropped a book she was holding. Soro reached his hand out to help her get up.

    "I''m sorry about that"

    "No no no, you don''t have to apologize, I wasn''t paying much attention to where I was going"

    She got up from the ground and slightly bowed her head.

    "Sorry for the inconvenience mister......"

    "Soro"

    "Ah, right.... I''ll be on my way then"

    She walked passed him having completely left the book she dropped on the floor. Soro glanced at it. The book was titled Mechatronics and had plenty of scribbles on the front cover, almost as if she was just using it as a sketchbook.

    "Hey wait a minute !"

    She jolted her back straight in surprise and turned around.

    "Y-y-yes...?"

    Soro pointed at the book laying on the ground. She quickly jumped to grab it. Her face was completely flushed.

    The school bell began to ring. The time was now 3:00 PM, meaning that students were free to leave the school. Yugo grabbed his bag from under the table and placed his book inside it.

    The hole that remained on the road began to crumble open. An entire arm pierced it''s way through the rocks. Someone was literally clawing their way out of the hole. Soon later his other arm managed to pierce through the ground. He gripped onto a large rock near him and pulled him self out of the hole. The strange man looked up at the sky and cracked his neck.

    "Ah shit, where am I this time ?"

    A purple aura started coming out of his feet. His entire body began levitating in mid-air.

    "Time to look around"

    A large wave of wind burst out of nowhere. Trees were pulled out of their roots and launched onto the sky. And the hole where the man had come from was now a large pitfall that was 30 meters deep.

    ~~Soro''s House, 4:46 PM~~

    Soro held up an old dusted shirt in the air.

    "Yikes, how long has this been under my bed for"

    He chucked it away towards the door carelessly. At the very same time Takimi opened the door.

    "Hey Soro you forgo-"

    The shirt landed on her face.

    "WHAT THE HELL !?!"

    She grabbed it and threw it back at Soro.

    "Hey! what are you doing ?"

    "I COULD ASK YOU THE SAME QUESTION"

    "I''m packing up my things"

    She jumped up and held the card in the air with excitement.

    Sweat started dripping from Soro''s face.

    After an hour Soro had finally finished packing up his bags. He brushed his hands as he deeply exhaled from all the fatigue.

    A formal man wearing a black suit and tie walked inside a large office with the lights off. He glanced at a woman looking out the window.

    "He is coming tomorrow ma''am. Should I begin making arrangements"

    The man quietly walked out of the room. The woman looked up at the full moon that was glowing in the sky. She began smiling.

    "So we''ll be meeting tomorrow huh......Soro Matako"

 Chapter 21 - Late Again, Again ?

    The time was now 7 in the morning. The sun was slowly beginning to shine brighter. The alarm Soro had set up before sleeping started to ring.

    ["Ah....what''s that noise ?"]

    Soro had only got an hour of sleep, due to him thinking about what was going to happen when he arrives at the academy. All he currently knew was that it was far away. and that the head of the academy wanted to see him. About what though ?

    The alarm began ringing again, louder than before. Soro picked up his phone and put it under his pillow to try reduce the noise. However he had completely forgot about the vibrator.

    ["Ugh......"]

    After a long dispute with him and his desire to stay in bed, Soro finally managed to get up. He took his phone out from underneath his pillow and checked the time. It was 7:29 in the morning. He should have left 9 minutes ago, which meant at his rate he was going to be late.

    "CRAP I''M GONNA MISS THE RIDE !"

    He rushed over to his closet and began getting changed. He then left his room and spotted Takimi about to enter the bathroom before him.

    ["Oh no you don''t"]

    He began sprinting towards the bathroom. Takimi was too drowsy to notice him. She simply yawned as she slowly walked over to the bathroom. Soro glanced at her.

    ["Damn her room is a lot closer to the bathroom than mine. But I have to get there first !"]

    Soro slid onto the ground in attempt to speed up.

    Takimi finally noticed Soro headed towards her direction.

    "What the..."

    Soro got up from the ground and started running again. He pointed at Takimi.

    Takimi just looked at him in complete confusion.

    "Huh ?"

    Just as Soro had finally reached the bathroom he slipped on a sandal on the floor and fell ontop of Takimi. They both collapsed on to the ground. Soro got up from the ground with his hand around his shoulder.

    "Aghh that hurt"

    He turned around to see how Takimi was doing.

    "Hey are you al-"

    His pitiful eyes met with Takimi''s fiery eyes. She glared at him with such an angry expression, that if anyone could see it there body would instantly go in to survival mode. This wasn''t the first time Soro had seen that expression on her face.     "S-sorry...?"

    Takimi was breathing heavily. She was only moments away from strangling her older brother to death. However since she knew Soro was going to be gone for a long time, she tried her best to hold her temper in. She turned around and stomped her way in to the bathroom. Soro gasped out a breath of relief.

    ["I should probably get out of here before she changes her mind about hitting me"]

    He quickly got up and went to fetch his suitcases.

    "I''m gonna go out Takimi !"

    He began walking out of the house. The door to the bathroom opened

    "Wait!"

    Takimi walked out of the bathroom. She still seemed pretty annoyed however the devil was no longer inside of her.

    "You''re going for a long time right ?"

    "Yea that''s what I''ve been told"

    "Take care then. Don''t get in to too many fights and if you do, then remember what I said."

    Soro smiled.

    "Sure"

    Takimi looked down on the ground. She began talking awfully quiet.

    "And one more thing...."

    She walked over to him. Soro began taking a couple of steps back. He feared for his life.

    "Woah woah relax!"

    "I''m not gonna hit you idiot !"

    She wrapped her arms around him.

    ["EH !? SHE''S HUGGING ME !?!"]

    "Uh Takimi, are you feeling okay ?"

    "I''m fine"

    She let go of him.

    "You better text me when you get there"

    "Uh, okay"

    Takimi raised her hand and waved at him.

    "See you then"

    Soro grabbed both of the suitcases that were on the floor and ran out the door. He stopped for a while to check the time.

    "Shit! It''s 7:52. I only have 8 minutes to get to school"

    A walk from Soro''s house to the school he attended would usually be half an hour. At the rate things were going there was no way he would be able to make it in time. He didn''t even know where he had to go when he arrives. Everything was on the extra sheets of paper that the head teacher, Kosuke had given to him, which he never read.

    Minutes had gone by and Soro was still far from the school. He had only 5 minutes left to get there.

    ["I won''t be able to make it at this rate. Looks like I''m gonna have to put everything in the line on this one bet"]

    Soro gripped the suitcases tightly as he nervously began sweating.

    ["I can''t believe I''m actually doing this. I could die if it doesn''t work"]

    He stood on the pavement and waited for a car to come around. After a while one eventually showed up moving at a tremendous speed. Soro closed his eyes shut and hopped on to the road.

    ["Please work, please work, please work !"]

    He slowly opened his eyes.

    ["YES !"]

    Soro had vanished from where he was standing to the front of the school gates. He had a large smile on his face until he eventually realized he didn''t know where to go from here.

    ["Is there supposed to be a cab waiting for me or something ?"]

    He looked around the place. It was completely empty. Could it be that he had already missed his ride ? If so then what''s going to happen to him ? Soro began shaking in fear. He remembered Kosuke saying that if he didn''t go then he would be detained. He clenched his hands as his breathing intensified.

    ["This can''t be happening..."]

    The sound of a loud horn suddenly arose. It resembled a heavy vehicle. Could it be ?

    Soro turned around. He couldn''t believe what he was seeing. A large black bus had stopped right beside him. The driver, a fairly old man with a brown mustache and beard opened the doors and  glared at him.

    "Are you one of the students who are supposed to be going to the New World Academy today ?"

    Soro nodded.

    "Alright then get on, you''re lucky one of the students spotted you here"

    Soro was so joyful inside but he didn''t wanna show it on the outside. After all he was still partially late. He went on the bus and spotted 7 other students. They were all sitting apart from each other. It was clear they had no connection what so ever. Soro began walking further towards the back looking for a place to sit down. As he nearly reached the end he spotted Rika sitting down.

    Soro was sitting down behind Rika. He peaked through a gap between the two chairs in front of him to see what she was up to.

    "Still reading books huh ?"

    Soro covered his mouth.

    Rika''s face became flustered. She slowly turned around to check who was behind her. She began stuttering.

    "H-h-have you been watching me the entire time ?"

    Soro''s eyes rolled over to the side.

    "Of course not, I just noticed you were reading a book"

    She leaned over and grabbed the book that she dropped. It was the same one as when they first met. Soro glanced at it.

    The phone opened by itself. A pin code screen appeared. The digits of it began automatically entering without Soro touching them. The phone was running completely by it self, or rather by Rika.

    The camera app flashed open and took a snapshot of the shocked look on Soro''s face.

    "Wait what !?"

    Rika began giggling.

    "Oops.."

    ~~Large Company Building 10:20 AM~~

    A group of men in suits were sitting in a round table. The boss of them sat on the end of the table with dark sunglasses on. He glanced at the others as he cleared his throat.

    "Very well, let''s begin"

    One of the men sitting down held up a large piece of paper.

    "I would like to present an idea for a product that will enhance these newly founded abilities"

    The other men looked around in complete shock. The boss leaned in closer out of interest.

    "I''m listening"

    "I propose that we-"

    At the very same moment a strange man crashed into the building through a window. He began wiping off pieces of glass that were stuck on his skin as if it were dust. He looked around at all the men who were in complete shock.

    "Why, hello gentlemen"

    The boss got up from his seat with a furious look on his face. He glared at the strange man.

    "What is the meaning of this !?!"

    The strange man looked at the boss. He pointed towards his face.

    "Those....I wan''t them"

    The boss gritted his teeth.

    "I''ve had enough of this foolishness!"

    The strange man dashed from one side of the table to the other, where the boss was in a split second. He took the sunglasses from the boss is face, who was completely frozen in fear. The other men got up from there seats and begun running away. All except for one of them who was still sitting down.

    "You like those sunglasses huh ?"

    The strange man turned around and looked at him. He had already put on the sunglasses.

    "Yeah, I like em''"

    The other man smirked.

    "The name''s Tamoko"

    The strange man looked around the room.

    "I''m Expo"

    "I get that a lot"

    Tamoko got up from his seat and held his hand out to Expo.

    "How about we work together ? I can help you get what you need"

    Expo was unaware of Tamoko''s intentions. He had never shook someone''s hand before or conducted any sort of business. It was safe to say that Expo was from another world.

    "What I need huh....I wonder what that is..."

    "I''m sure you will find out if you work with me"

    "Heh, okay then. I''ll leave it to you"

    He turned around again and looked at the boss who was still in a state of shock.

    "What about this guy ?"

    Tamoko glanced at the boss.

    "He will probably try report what he''s seen after he recovers. If that happens it could cause some problems for us. It would be best if you dispose of him as quickly as possible"

    "Ok..."

    Expo grabbed the man by the neck and lifted him up. A purple aura started emitting out of his hand. The man began screaming in pain as his skin turned violet. Expo looked at him in the eye.

    "Give me a moment, it''s been a while since I''ve done this, I''m a little rusty"

    The man''s skin began glowing as it faded into ashes. His body was nowhere to be seen. Tamoko began slowly clapping his hands with a sinister smirk on his face. He was impressed with what he had just witnessed.

    "Very, interesting"

    ~~ New World Academy Entrance 11:06 AM~~

    The bus had arrived and everyone had gotten off. They were now waiting for someone to guide them on what to do next and where to go. Soro looked up at the academy. There were 8 different buildings. Each of them were extremely large. The smallest being an outstanding 12 stories tall. Everyone including Soro were completely shocked at the size of the academy. It was nearly double the size of a university campus. You could go as far as to say it was it''s own mini town.

    ["So this is the academy huh ?"]

    A tall bald man with a large muscular figure approached Soro. He straightened the tie around his neck as he looked down at Soro.

    "The head master wants to see you"

 Chapter 23 - The Head Master

    The door to the head master''s office opened up. The tall bald man stepped aside so Soro could enter. He then proceeded to close the door and stand in front of the door, as if he were guarding it. The head teacher was sitting down on a sofa. She turned around to look at Soro as she smiled.

    "Ah, you''re here"

    Soro''s body became stiff. He had seen enough action movies to recognize the seductive evil female character when he see''s them.

    "You wanted to see me ?"

    "Of course. Come take a seat"

    Soro walked over and sat down on another sofa opposite her. The head master smiled once again.

    "I believe I haven''t introduced my self yet"

    She held her hand out to Soro.

    "My name is Akira Konabae. I am the head master of this new academy"

    Soro shook her hand.

    ["So she''s the one who found me that night"]

    "It''s nice to meet you miss Akira"

    "The feelings mutual"

    She grabbed a jar of orange juice and started pouring it on to a cup.

    "Want some ?"

    Soro shook his head.

    "No thanks"

    She crossed her legs as she took a sip from the cup. Soro was starting to become impatient. She had asked to see him in advance, and yet she wasn''t getting to the point as to why this was.

    "You must have some questions on your mind. I''ll answer them soon enough but first answer me this"

    Soro''s hands began sweating from the pressure in the room.

    "What...?"

    "Sorry, I don''t understand what you mean"

    "I mean your ability is far more than just a simple teleportation. Am I wrong ?"

    ["So she already knows"]

    "No you''re not wrong. The reason I put teleportation down as my ability is because that''s the only part of my ability I understand"

    "I see....interesting"

    Soro glared at her.

    ["Now It''s my turn"]

    "May I ask you a question now ?"

    She placed the cup back on to the table.

    "Sure"

    "How did you find me that night ?"

    "I''m sorry ?"

    "The night of the fall"

    "Ah. I was searching for something during that night, and I just happened to find you completely out cold on the ground, and just like any regular person would, I called the ambulance"

    ["I can''t tell if she is lying or not"]

    "What were you looking for ?"

    "I''m not allowed to say"

    ["She''s definitely hiding something"]

    "Another question. Do you know what my ability is ?"

    "I wish I could assist you in understanding your ability. However I have no prior knowledge of abilities and how they work other than what''s told on the news"

    ["That''s definitely got to be a lie. She is the head master of a school for people with abilities and yet she said she doesn''t know a lot about abilities. That makes no sense"]

    Akira turned her head to look at a clock hanging on the wall.

    "Oh dear, It seems our time is up. I have an urgent meeting I must attend. Let''s continue this conversation later"

    Soro slightly gritted his teeth.

    ["So she was stalling this entire time ? What about the reason why she called to see me ? There''s no way it was just to ask about my ability"]

    The tall bald man guarding the door turned around to open it. Akira smiled as Soro walked out of the room.

    "Good luck on the entry exams"

    Soro immediately turned around in surprise.

    ["Entry exams !?"]

    The door had already been shut tight at that same moment.

    ["What did she mean by that ? I never got told there were entry exams. This is bad..."]

    A suited man opened a door behind Soro.

    "Allow me to take you to your dorm sir"

    Soro turned around.

    "Okay..."

    They exited the building and walked to another large building nearby. The suited man handed Soro 2 keys.

    "This first one is for you to open the main door of the building. The second is the key to the room where you will be staying. If you need anything there''s a phone you can use in your room to contact staff members"

    ["What did she mean by the entry exams ? If there really are entry exams then does that mean I won''t get in the academy if I fail it ? That man Kosuke never said anything about this"]

    Soro took both of the keys and entered the building. He went upstairs to the block he was staying.

    ["Here it is B16. I guess my room is across this door"]

    He unlocked the door with his key and opened it only to find a unique surprise waiting for him. A familiar someone sitting down on one of the two beds whilst reading one of the guides to the academy, and no it wasn''t Akame. Soro stood there in total shock.

    ["My room mate is him............?"]

    It was Toumo, the blonde man from before who tried to pierce through Soro with his ability. The first person to trigger Soro''s teleportation ability by putting him in a life or death situation.

    Toumo was alerted by the sound of the door opening and looked up to see who came in. He spotted Soro standing in front of him.

    "You...."

 Chapter 24 - Terrible Roommate

    Soro started slowly stepping back. He held his hands up ready to protect him self.

    "Hey, hey relax"

    Toumo got up. He began rolling up his sleeves whilst activating his ability.

    "So you got away last time eh ?"

    "Let me explain..."

    Toumo stared at Soro dead in the eye. He had no intention of holding back against Soro. Not even one bit.

    "You made me look like a fool in front of those ladies when you disappeared !"

    He started to generate glowing ropes around him. Soro started sweating.

    "Wait, I didn''t mean to disappear"

    "Save it for the ropes"

    The ropes he had created began hastily taking the form of a spear. Soro turned around and ran out of the room. Toumo chased after him.

    "Get back here you little sh*t !"

    He began launching spears made out of tangled ropes at Soro with every spear nearly hitting his foot.

    ["Why did he have to be my room mate ?"]

    Soro manged to safely exit the dorm while still being chased. Toumo was far too infuriated to even realize that he was wearing nothing but boxers underneath.  He stopped for a moment to concentrate on his ability. All the ropes he generated began tangling together to form one giant spear, almost ten times bigger than the ones he was throwing. Soro could no longer hear the footsteps of Toumo chasing after him. He felt relief for a moment.

    ["Phew.....I think I finally lost him"]

    He turned around to see the distance between them and spotted a enormous spear above Toumo.

    "Oh dear lord....."

    Toumo glanced at him as he smiled.

    Toumo held both of his hands in the air, preparing to aim it at Soro''s direction. Soro stood still in complete shock.

    ["What the hell do I do now ?"]

    He closed his eyes.

    ["It''s fight or flight and I know for a fact I can''t fight against that. But I do know that I can run"]

    He began controlling his breathing.

    ["It''s about time I learn how to control this thing. I have to focus and imagine a place I have good memory of."]

    Soro began visualizing the location of many different places he had been too. After a couple of seconds the image of the headmaster''s office suddenly came to his mind.

    ["Wait a minute, I don''t wanna go there !"]

    It was way too late for him. He had completely vanished and appeared on the sofa he sat on during his meeting with the headmaster.

    ["What''s this comfy feeling underneath my feet ?"]

    Soro opened his eyes and looked below him.

    ["I''m at her office......this is bad"]

    He looked around the room to try see if she was there. Luckily for him it was empty.

    "Phew...."

    ["Let''s get out of here now"]

    He began heading towards the door. But he quickly had a change of mind as if the devil on his shoulder was now speaking to him.

    ["Wait a minute. I''m in the headmaster''s office by my self. Doesn''t this mean that I can look around here things and try find out who she really is ?"]

    He stood still for a moment to collect his thoughts.

    ["I''ll just look at a phew things and be gone"]

    He walked up towards a desk full of papers.

    ["Let''s see here..."]

    He held up some of the papers.

    ["Hmm...these are all applications from other students"]

    He put the papers down and crouched down to open one of the drawers on the desk. There was a folder inside. Soro picked it up and opened it a couple of documents inside. He read the title off of one of them.

    ["Project Erase ??"]

    He turned over to look at the contents. At the very same moment he heard a sound of a door being unlocked.

    ["Oh no....."]

    Soro quickly put the folder pack in place and shut the drawer. The door opened up. A sound of heels hitting the ground was heard.

    ["I have to get out of here. Imagine imagine imagine....."]

    He began visualizing the room he was staying in at the dorms. He waited for a while then opened his eyes.

    ["It worked !"]

    Soro looked around the room to make sure Toumo wasn''t around. He gasped a breath of relief.

    "Phew....that was close"

    ["I wonder what that "project erased" was all about. If there''s one thing I know for sure, it''s that I shouldn''t trust that woman"]

    He took his phone out from his pocket to check the time.

    ["2 PM. I still have time to look around. Who knows maybe I''ll run into Akame on the way"]

    He left the dorms and began exploring the area for a good while. He spotted Rika walking by and called out to her.

    "Rika!"

    She turned around in shock.

    "Y-yes !? oh it''s you Soro"

    "What''s up ?"

    "I was just looking around the place"

    "You''re staying at the girls dorms right ?"

    "Yes..."

    "By any chance have you seen a girl with pink hair and eyes ?"

    He held his hand up to his shoulder.

    "About this tall"

    Rika nodded.

    "Yes. My roommate fits that description"

    Soro jolted out in joy.

    "Woah for real !?"

    "Yes, her name is Akame. Why do you ask ?"

    Soro scratched the back of his head and smirked.

    "She''s a good friend of mine"

    "Ah"

    "Anyways do you know where she is ?"

    "Of course"
