I opened my eyes and saw, in the night sky, a slightly shaking crack just floating there as if it was there to begin with. The next thing I saw was a hand reach out and a few seconds later a bright light " As he was thinking these things a person, looking as if he was sculpted by God himself appeared a fair distance away in front of him; dark brown hair and hazel eyes, dressed in white clothes and shoes, staring at the man with a guilty look on his face. The lone man wakes up from his daze and looks at the new arrival with an apprehensive look in his eyes, wondering how this man suddenly appeared in front of him and why he looks so guilty while staring at him. The guilt ridden man looks up and gives the lonely man an awkward smile. "Ah! Alex you''re finally awake you must be wandering where you are and what happened to you, well in short you died and It was to partially my fault." Exclaimed the handsome man. Alex stared at the weirdly at the handsome man as if he was looking at a lunatic. "How did I endup here? And who are you?" Alex asked in an inquisitive manner. "I am Taranath, just call me Taran. As for how you ended up here...it''s a long story. I was recently promoted to Minor God recently so me and a few of my friends descended onto Earth into mortal bodies so we could enjoy mortal pleasures and get drunk, we all got a little tipsy as we all had a few drinks. As we were all drinking we sensed a strong demon trying enter earth, we all had a suspicion of what they were trying to do so we paid for our drinks and headed in the direction we sensed the demon, one thing led to an argument and another thing led to a fight. As Taranath was speaking, trying to give a more detailed explanation a woman suddenly appeared out of nowhere behind him slowly walking towards Taranath and Alex. Alex noticed the person appearing and stared at her. Taranath noticing his gaze followed it and stared at the woman who suddenly appeared behind him and froze as if he has seen his worst nightmare. Alex noticing this looked at Taranath with a question and confused look while thinking who this is. "Maybe it''s his boss¡­" while Alex was thinking this. Taran, being about 6.5 ft. and muscular was getting lectured by a woman about 26 being 5.8 ft with a beautiful face, slender legs and a graceful figure that could take anyone''s breath away, giving Taran a smile, though beautiful, was filled with danger. "Do you know what king of mess you got yourself in Taran?" The woman yelled at Taran completely ignoring Alex the only spectator to watch this glorious sight. After a Few glorious Hours of Taran, even after all these hours it never got boring watching Taran getting lectured by the woman, she finally stopped shouting at Taran and turned to Alex, now it was Alex turn to be worried. While Alex was standing there the woman was looking at him with a questioning gaze. After a few awkward minutes Taran decided to end the silence. "Alex I would like to introduce someone to you, this is Incipere, one of the True Divines. She is the Goddess of Creation that helped in making the world your about to be reincarnated into." "So what is it that you want to wish for? but remember there is a limit, although we have raised it a little for you and the other people who died in the accident there is still a limit." Incipere asked while looking at Alex. Alex has been thinking over this for the past few hours that he has been here and finally decided on what he wants to do. "The first thing I want to wish for is¡­" Chapter 2 "The first thing I want to wish for is to have a system like the ones in the novels I read. My second wish is to reborn in a world of magic, filled with mystery, excitement and dungeons. The third wish is to be able to train my skills in my dreams and my final two wishes are to have the highest affinity with every element and to be able to speak, read, write every language, both magical and non-magical" "Except one all the other wishes can be granted, although they all seem strong and a bit of a cheat they all revolve around you having to work for what you get, they just make the amount of work needed slightly less." Incipere said with her arms crossed giving herself an affirmative nod. "Which wish cannot be granted? What makes it so different from the other wishes?" Alex asked, confused how only one wish out of all of them couldn''t be granted, he thought they were all over the top but still wanted to try who would have thought this is how it would go and that they could actually be granted. "The wish that cannot be granted is the one pertaining to languages, there are so many languages in existence, giving you so much information could practically tear your mind apart. Not to mention that not every language are be spoken, written or read in the same way, as the words forom some languages themselves could hold certain powers, you must first have the capability to sense meaning of the words in the language before you can do anything with them. Whether it be through touch or sight. Some languages have requirements that need to be met before they can be spoken, instead this wish would have to be changed, don''t worry though this wish would just have to be changed into a talent instead. This talent would just make it easier for you to learn different languages and if you can''t speak, read or write a language this talent will allow you deduce the closest thing you can do to understand, speak, read and write the language." Incipere yelled at Taran dragging him out of his stupor. Taran, noticing his bosses impatience, got up and ran over to Alex. "Yes mam! Come on Alex, we''re leaving." Taran teleported away with Alex in tow. Alex closed his eyes, not wanting to be blinded by any sudden lights, before feeling some slight nausea. The next thing he noticed was a sudden warm breeze against his skin, and as he opened his eyes he saw multitude of different vibrant colours and environments from lush green forests, Sandy dunes, frozen trundra''s filled with sparkling ice and beautiful auroras that shined just as virbantly as it surrounding enviroments, all the way to luxurious beaches and beautiful star filled skies. A truly magical place. "What is this place? Where are we?" asked Alex with an admiring tone in his voice. "We are on another planet in a completely different universe than where your from, this planet is a lot larger than Earth so don''t try to wander around too much, this is where we will be wiping away the ''mark'' that Incipere mentioned before."This novel is published on a different platform. As for the mark and why it would be bad for you is that the ''mark'' itself can be considered as the ''signature'' of the universe that your from. This ''signature'' will mark you as something foreign to other universe and you will be considered a parasite where you going as the place your going won''t recognise that particular ''signature'' as it''s own and will try to rectify this problem by turning you into either pure energy it can use and shape for it''s own purposes or to be used to be experimented. Of course if you don''t want to keep your memories we can skip this part and you can get straihgt to being ''reborn''. Do you want to be ''reborn'' now?" "No! That means wiping the ''mark'' as well as any memories from before and turning you into pure energy. Remember each universe has its own imprint, if a person or an unkown ''thing'' was invading a planet and its will sense''s it the planet will alert it''s inhabitant''s and any other being that it can speak to, for example the God''s or nature spirits, and get them to warn the more people to help kill the parasite. Planets won''t ask for any assistance from the universe, to them that is consiered the last resort, as they would want to use the new soul and the energy it gives to strengthen themselves." It''s getting dark let''s try and make some shelter and start the quest tomorrow." Alex starts to wander the forest to find some decent shelter. A few minutes pass and he finds some shelter in the form of an old abandoned beast nest inside of a cave near a lake. "Ahh! finally some shelter, I guess there really isn''t any other living thing in this part of the forest I''m in, no magical animal would abandon this place near a clear water source and territory to potentially to expand into." Alex decides to enter the cave to get some shelter, Alex looks around the cave and he notices some odd plants, minerals and crystals spread around the cave. The crystals around the cave glowed in a multitude of colours; Red crystals, Blue crystals, Yellow crystals, and Green crystal, with each type of crystal having its own unique property. Alex decides to get some sleep and stay near the red crystals as they seem to give off some warmth, after admiring the beauty of the different colours the crystals glow. Alex decided to fall asleep in the most comfortable place he can sleep on near the red crystals. The next day Alex wakes, but decides to stay still for a while so his mind can wake up. "So I did die, *sigh* and here I thought It was just a dream." After Alex wakes up he decides to ask the ''System'' on how he can complete the quest so he can get reborn. "Ok. How would go around using my mana and/or chi when I haven''t experienced having these things before?" [Through meditation. Find a suitable place you can sit on without any interruptions and start to clear your mind of any thought and synchronise your breath with the life around you] "Alright, let''s try it." Alex sits down and tries to clear his mind of any thought, but with what has happened lately, it makes clearing the mind very difficult. " ''System'', with what has happened to me lately I just can''t clear my mind. What do you recommend I should do to solve that problem?" [Your problem is your lack of focus, you should try to gain a skill that needs you to focus to become successful at it. Try to gain the woodworking or masonry skill as these are skills that require a lot of focus to hone and improve, it should also be able to help you in clearing your mind] "Alright ''System'' I will try gaining the woodworking skill, I am after all in a forest, I''m practically living in the perfect training area to train my woodworking." Alex decides to grab a sharp stone from inside of the cave and go around the forest fetching for wood. After Alex has collected enough piles of wood he heads back to the cave to starts his way to getting the carving skill. "Alright, lets try and carve something easy to start off with. Ahh! how about a wooden dagger that should do." After half and hour of agonising work Alex has finally finished carving a wooden dagger, though it can be considered a failure as the blade can barely cut a leaf along with the blade being pretty thin and the wood chosen not being the best material for this type of thing. "All that time and focus and all I got was this shitty dagger *sigh* what should I have expected, this is my first-time carving with such a crude tool, *sigh* let''s get started on the next one." Hours passed by and slowly Alex is started to be surrounded with scraps of wood shavings and failed wooden daggers losing himself in his work, not knowing he has started to unconsciously take in the energies around him, although a minute amount of it. Alex wakes up from his trance and notices all of the failures surround him, he''s upset about all of the mess but he could tell that the quality of the daggers are getting better and better each time. After picking up a new piece of wood Alex starts making a new dagger. A few hours later Alex has finally finished a dagger that can be considered a success, with a sharp edge that can even cut a person and a carved outline on the handle in the image of an eagle. "I would be surprised if I haven''t got the woodworking skill yet after all of these failures surrounding me, so ''System'' have I finally got the carpentry skill yet." [You got the carpentry skill quite a while ago, I didn''t tell you so you could keep on focusing on your task, If you want to look at your skills just say or think ''Skills List'' and a screen should appear in front of you] "WHAT! I already have a skill *sigh* next time just tell me when I have unlocked a skill, alright." As every being inside of the universe in some way will help in the universes development the universe will naturally help develop the life inside of it, this creates a loop of the universe developing the beings inside of it and vise versa. As for information about nature all that needs to be said is that it is the energy produced by the world which can help develop life on it, as for soul energy it''s pretty self explanatory as it is simply the energy that the soul produces. For most this is considered a foreign concept and is pretty much forever locked for them but you will still get those people with naturally awakened soul energy, you are considered a naturally awakened person but with the little amount of soul energy you have it will prove difficult to even sense it let alone use it. [Skill Gained - Meditation: ] The system alerts Alex of his new skill yet he couldn''t hear it as he was too focused on clearing his mind of anything that may interrupt him from sensing mana and chi, although he asked the system to informed him of any new skills and levels he unintentionally ignored the prompt, too focused on clearing his head instead. A few hours pass and Alex finally gets out of his ''meditation''. He starts to look around with a surprised look on his face, unsure of what just happened, his eyes showed a multitude of emotions before finally settling on annoyed. "Ah Fuck!! I fell Asleep. Hey!! System, why didn''t you wake me up?" After listening to that explanation Alex starts to have feelings of Anger and regret, he wonders if asking for the ''system'' in the first choice was the right idea as it has done nothing but anger and criticise him since he as had it. A few moments pass before Alex judges that him asking for a system was a good idea and that the ''System'' would be of great help in the future even if it pisses him off. "So I guess I should go back to meditating, System wake me up if I fall asleep." After asking the system to wake him up if he falls asleep Alex tries again at meditating to sense. 10 years passed until Alex noticed that he hadn''t aged at all during the time he was here. He continued live in this dimension that Taran had made for him, training, creating and trying to reach the limit of every skill and technique that he could think of, as well as, any of the skills that the system suggested he learns. Training both his body, chi, mana and soul, With the former 2 improving his physique and the latter 2 improving his mental and spiritual capabilities. Delving into the secrets of mana, chi, the body, the mind and the soul. Training in many different uses that they can or could be used for. Alex started his training by trying to change his mana into the different elements such as the basic elements of fire, water, earth, wind, and over time creating and developing his own spells to master his manipulation over these elements. He meditated and gathered chi and mana from his surroundings, and improving his strength every second he could. Alex waited before each major increase in strength as he didn''t want to get too strong too fast, waiting each time so he could build a stronger foundation and train his control over his newly gained strength. Over time Alex trained and refine his skills, learning new skills, discovering the many secrets of these pieces of knowledge and learning new languages both magical and non-magical. Even going so far as making his own language with its own writing and pronunciations along the way. As training was the only thing that kept him from slowly going crazy he did nothing but train and occasionally have some resting time, talking with the system to pass the time. Even making his own diary that he would write his thoughts into and possibly write down any sudden inspirations that he would get. Even if time wouldn''t were it down constant use would going to far as to enchant it to be near indestructible, making several such diaries each different from the next. He dedicated his first diary to how he trains, the different routines he took to get stronger form the first day to the current one. "System! ''Although I have improved a lot since I began my training, I still seem to be lacking, weaker that what I could achieve, but why do I feel this way.'' Following this train of though Alex went through the journals that he had written over the years and looked over the different aspects of his training that he thought could be causing this displeasing and unfulfilling feeling inside of him. Starting with his first journal that focused on his experiences with training his body. One by one Alex read them all at the same time using a technique he had invented, ''The Blood Clone Technique'', by moulding and slowly fusing his Mana, Chi and soul energy together and infusing some of his blood Alex made a technique that allowed him to create solid clones of himself that he had a link to. After a clone had fully read a book the clone would be absorbed back into the body so Alex can obtain the memories of the clone and try figure out what the problem is. Alex made this technique to improve his training speed, as after a clone had trained long enough they would be absorbed back into Alex strengthening his body and slightly improving his chi, mana and soul energy capacity. However Alex hadn''t developed this technique enough as the technique was still filled with flaws, when absorbing a clone the mental and physical fatigue that the clone had accumulated over the time would also absorbed. Alex would need to rest before absorbing more clones back into his body as without proper rest and time for the body to heal the body will end up getting damaged causing his training to become stagnant until he had fully healed. A piece of information Alex found the hard way as he tried to rush his already fast training. ____ 200 years later Sitting on a log next to a fire roasting a massive boar, sat a young man with an focused and eager look on his face, some drool coming out the side of his mouth and a loud rumbling echoing into the surroundings. Don''t worry Frae, Hades, just judging from personal experience there doesn''t appear to be any problems with him but we will still need to check him for any problems, afterall it wouldn''t look too good for me if the Chieftains grandson was sick under my watch." A few seconds pass before the mid wife, now knowing that there is nothing wrong with the child, proceeded to tell Fae that there is nothing wrong with the child. "Our tribes magic uses ambient energy from the surroundings, this ambient energy is known as mana (though this name varies from place to place). It''s considered the spirit of nature, used to conjure and control the elements to cause miracles that help improve our way of life. Many different mana qualities(how good it is) and quantities(how much there is) can be found in the wilderness. The main use of mana is in the shape of spell formulas, these formulas are made up of countless runes, sygils and shapes, each with their own meaning. You will naturally be taught magic when you''re old enough, around 4-5, as this is when your magic core awakens, if you have one, but as my son and because of our family lineage there is rarely anyone not born without a magic core. A magic core is simply the container for our mana.When you become 7 years old your cores mana should have stabilised once this happensyou will be tested on what elements you have an affinity towards as well as how strong of a connection you have to these elements. These spells are graded depending on the strength of the spell, from Tier 0 to Tier 12, each Tier coresponding with a level of strength. "Now look towards the plant and watch what happens." Just as these words fell Vali sight shifted towards the plant. Frae noticing her sons focus then went onto the next step, covering her hand with chi she then slowly folded her ring and pinky finger and pushed forward slightly with her hand. Slowly the dead plant with fallen leaves and a dead look suddenly started to turn green and looked healthy, filled with vitality. "This is Chi magic, it uses the life force of nature collected from the surroundings, or even from yourself to empower and revitalise others. It can be used to strengthen, heal and increase your life span. Everything gives off Chi, even when your collecting it your giving out Chi, such as trees, bushes, stones etc, everything gives off and releases Chi into the surroundings. Like magic it has a multitude of uses but only if you have both the knowledge and experience to wield it.
