《The Transported Laboratory》 1. Shower The year is 1XXXX. The entire human race has conquered the whole galaxy. Technological advancement has paved the way for humans to reach the corners of the cosmos. Scientists, politicians, and visionaries are the ones who led their species to greatness, though older generation has long died and handed out their knowledge to the young, one man, in particular, is still leading the species to greatness. His name is John Glark.
It was early in the morning, and the rectangular lights that are mounted in these metallic walls began to shine. A man who''s probably in his twenties slowly rose up from his bed and rubbed his eyes. This man, with his black hair and blue eyes wearing a sky-blue colored pajama, is a well-known scientist named John Glark. As he smiled and closed his eyes, he thought to himself, "What a nice morning!" This bed that he created was invented to smooth the experience of sleeping and waking up. Its fluffy white sheets shout a heavenly feel to it as it warms the user to the perfect temperature while sleeping. He looked around this metallic room, with its lacking of furniture and decorations made it look like a prison built for a murderous criminal. But this was his preference, he doesn''t need those things, He made it this way because of one thing. He clapped both of his hands twice and saw the metallic walls changed, it seems that he''s on the outside, Probably on the streets of the city. With flying cars roaming around with tall glass buildings and people holding signs. "Let''s see what''s on the news today." He thought to himself. This walls that he made that covered this room is a screen that''s hard to break, it lets the user see the entire 360 degrees of the whole scene. It is a popular product that is used by billions of people. It is very revolutionary that just by even watching a movie made, it seems like you''re in the scene itself. A woman in the screen holding a microphone started to speak, "The ''Peace-Not-War'' Activists have gathered here in the plaza today to state their opinions on the upcoming war against the ''Communist Planets''." There are currently 135 nations that occupied the entire galaxy, and of those planets are United Planets and the Republic of the Communist Planets. These two planets, in particular, have been in the state of war from their time in their foundings. As John watched the news, a holographic screen started to show at the side, and the voice of a woman began to speak, "Good morning, sir!" John looked at the holographic screen and replied back, "Good day Sarrie!" Sarrie is another of John''s brilliant invention. A personal assistant that is made entirely of software. Built by his late mother as her last will and testament. He continued the project and made it a perfect assistant that anyone ever wanted. Sarrie replied, "The food is ready and is now on its way." As he closed his eyes and touched his stomach, he groans to the thought of eating another delicious food offered by his great inventions. As he licked his lips and was unable to sit still, he looked at the holographic screen at the side and asked Sarrie, "What is the meal for today?" Sarrie replied, "Fried fish with delicious fried egg and bacon." The robotic machines that are in charge of making food for John were programmed to study the diet and body conditions of his body as well as current activities that he will be doing today. As he pouts after listening to what Sarrie said, he then began to say, "Oh, and I thought that we will have broccoli today¡­" Sarrie replied, "You''re going to be meeting with the military and government officials today, so we want you to eat as much brain power foods as possible,"If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. His company mainly deals with manufacturing electronics, robotics, and a key player in the Artificial Intelligence industry. The metallic door suddenly slides open, revealing a robot that is holding a wooden tray with John''s meal at the top. A robot who has a figure of a female body with a beautiful plastic face while wearing a maid''s outfit started to walk towards John as the sound of her heels can be heard throughout the room. This was another of John''s invention, and one of the lines of the products of the Malnotronics Company. As the robotic maid arrived at the side of the bed, she then placed the wooden tray on John''s lap. John smiled at the robot and said, "Thank you!" As the robotic maid bowed in response, it then walked towards the sliding door and stayed at the side. "We will now hear the statement of President Michael Bon of United Planets!" The male reporter said. As John continued to watch the news at the screen, he then saw a male figure wearing a business torso waving his hands while standing at the podium. After the person shook his hands, he then began to speak through the microphone, "We assure you that this war is not caused by resources nor greed! But by eliminating the outrageous economic model called ''Communism!''" As the president continued his speech, Sarrie began to ask John, "Are you sure of providing weapons of war to the government?" John replied, "I surely don''t! But there is this element that they have recently discovered that is classified¡­ I have heard that they will use it on their weaponry, and I intended to learn more." "So, by offering on making weapons for them, you will use this opportunity to learn more about the element that they have recently discovered?" Sarrie said. John looked at the holographic screen and gave a smile and said, "Good job! You know me very well! I am a person who loved to acquire new knowledge, you see!" Sarrie with her sad tone then said, "Shouldn''t you focus on things that are much more important? Like creating more inventions to help the citizens?" John began to glare at the holographic screen at his side and said, "Please¡­ That is so boring!" John, who finds joy in discovering new things, is bored in every matter of human society; he usually strays away from politics and economic growth, unless if those things can provide new scientific discoveries. John continued, "And besides, my company is already helping the human race." This is true; in fact, his company not only creates innovative products but as well as cheaper ones and in high quality. Sarrie replied, "But creating weapons of war?" Sarrie was about to continue, but John interrupted her and said, "Shush¡­ Every company does that in every country¡­ What makes me different than them?" As John wiped his mouth with a white cloth, he then said, "It''s time for me to take a bath." The robotic maid standing at the side walked towards the bed and grabbed the wooden tray at John''s lap. John Began to get out of bed and walked towards the sliding door. The door slide opened, and John walked out of his room to go towards the bathroom to take a bath. As John walked towards the bathroom, He touched the guard rail at the side and looked down below. He saw his robots walking, delivering materials, and some just standing by waiting for orders, He even saw robotic arms that are currently creating a particular type of machinery. This place that John is in is not only his personal home but also his factory. He made this decision because he just loves to learn new things, and one method to learn more about things is to also create new ones, new machines, and new inventions. John continued to walk and arrived at his destination, the door slide opened, and John entered the room. Inside is what you usually see inside a bathroom, it has a mirror, sink, shower, and a bathtub. John walked towards the pan, and suddenly robotic arms with hands of a toothbrush started to come out of the mirror box. After the robotic arms finished brushing his teeth, the circular door at the top started to open, and robotic hands began to come out of it and undress John as he is preparing to take a shower. Generally, in a bathroom, there is supposed to be a shower curtain to hide the body of the person using it. But John didn''t decide to put one, there are actually two reasons why: one is that he''s lazy while thinking of the idea and second is that he is living alone in this place. The shower was also programmed to make the temperature of the water suit the current condition of the outside. Making the water cold if it''s hot outside and hot if it''s cold. After taking a shower, the robotic hands holding a towel started to wipe his body; afterward, they gave John the towel robe, and he wore it. John started to walk out of the room and goes towards the "dressing room." The inside of the room is filled with different kinds of cabinets. Cabinets that were sorted by their types: Perfumes, clothes, shoes, accessories, etc. The robotic hands in-charge of dressing John was programmed to analyze the current activities of the day and dress John appropriately. Since he is about to meet with the military and government officials, he is going to wear a business torso. While the robotic hands were busy suiting John, a holographic screen appeared at his side, and a woman voice started to say, "Sir, the car is ready." John looked at the holographic display and saw a black limousine car floating in the ground. John nodded and replied, "Okay, I''m almost done here."
As John walked the halls of his place, the sound of his footsteps echoed throughout. He looked at the side and saw the robotic maids lined up. These robotics maids are placed here to defend any intruders, for they are not just only capable of doing housework but can also fight. After walking past them, he is now at the front of the big brown door, the two robotic maids standing on both sides, pushed the door as it let out a creaking sound. John then stepped outside and walked down the stairs. The black limousine car automatically opened its door as John slowly approached it, He gets on to the vehicle as it closed its door and began to drive. Sarrie then began to say, "We are heading towards the capital, sir." John then replied, "Proceed." 2. The Three Men The limousine car that John is riding is another of his great inventions - The self-driving car. But what made this car special is that it is integrated with Sarrie''s A.I. client. It means that John can access and control his house far away by using Sarrie as a gateway. In fact, not only is Sarrie integrated into this car but also in every device that John is carrying. As the limousine car continuously drives towards the gate, John looked at the side of the windows and saw his other inventions do their work. Some robots are who are in-charge of gardening, used their robotic hands to sprinkle water on the plants. Security-bots who roam around the estate with its humanoid torso, a one-legged wheel, and a laser gun as its hands, protect the mansion from any threats. The gate automatically opened as the limousine car drove near it. And passed by the Security-bots that were stationed on each side. John faced the front windows and began to say, "We should discuss our strategy in dealing with the upcoming meeting." After saying such words, holographic screens began to appear containing the details of the upcoming meeting, one hologram, in particular, showed a specific type of machinery that seems to catch the attention of John. John pointed the holographic screen containing the machine and said, ¡°This machine will be the ingredient to obtain the classified element.¡± Sarrie then began to say, ¡°Ah, the project ¡®K-M2¡¯ The one that we have created for three years?¡± John closed both of his hands and said, ¡°Yes, it is a machine that identifies and creates a weapon suited for a certain type of elements.¡± He looked at the side and continued to say, "But, I couldn''t believe that we are going to share this valuable machine, especially to the government." He looked down below and continued, ¡°Well¡­¡± he sighed. John was about to continue, but Sarrie interrupted him and said, "You will offer this machine to them to create a weapon suited for the element for the upcoming war, but since they don''t know how to use the machine, you will use this opportunity to bring it in the laboratory and examine it." John looked up and smiled, ¡°Yes, that¡¯s true! You know me and my plans very accurately¡± John put his right hand at his chin and raised his right eyebrow as he continued, ¡°That¡¯s why I always wondered where my mother put the servers and the database of your brain¡­¡± Sarrie replied, ¡°That is classified information.¡± Sarrie is an A.I. that relies on information given by her database servers, but its computing power is located at John¡¯s laboratory¡¯s ¡°Core''s Room¡± together with his two other inventions. Although he has the blueprint of Sarrie¡¯s machine and software code, it didn¡¯t provide the I.P. link of the server¡¯s and address, which is miraculously hidden perfectly well. Not even the esteemed hackers can penetrate and pin the location. John sighed and said, ¡°It¡¯s already been years since I tried to access your servers, but all of it seems encrypted, as a genius like me failed on decrypting a simple server link, it really hurts my ego.¡± John, who loves to gather new information, failed to obtain the knowledge of Sarrie¡¯s database is located, not only was he disappointed on himself but as well haunts him in his dreams. John crossed his arms and continued, "It makes me wonder how intelligent my mother is. For a woman, she almost reached the peak of creating a perfect artificial intelligence." Anyone with the knowledge of A.I. can do the same work as John''s mother. But what makes Sarrie''s A.I. special is that of her database ¨C that contains a large amount of information, An A.I. no matter how strong its computable power cannot match Sarrie''s vast knowledge, because knowledge is power. Sarrie then said, ¡°Well, your mother is not alone on creating me¡­¡± John smiled and said, ¡°Of course! I was the one that completed you!¡± Sarrie continued, ¡°No¡­ What I meant was that the ¡®Research and Development¡¯ team of the Malnotronics Company helped on creating me as a prototype.¡± John smiled and raised his right eyebrows as he said, ¡°Oh? So, the previous ¡®RnD¡¯ team knows the server and database locations?¡±This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings. Sarrie said, "I''ve told you many times, sir, but it''s classified information, but knowing your eagerness, it seems that you really want to know the techniques of what your mother and the rest of her team have done to my servers and database." John laughed and said, ¡°Yes, that¡¯s right! As you may know, I have created two artificial intelligence based on your client code, but they do not reach the same intelligence as you.¡± John smiled and continued to say, ¡°We can say that you are unique among the inventions that have been made today. A machine that is hard to replicate.¡± Sarrie replied, "Thank you for the compliments, sir, but that won''t let me share you the classified information. You must know that I can''t be persuaded by compliments." John slouched and said, "And I thought you can harbor feelings by now¡­ Oh, well..." John looked at the front window and saw a large white gate in front of them and said, ¡°It seems that we¡¯ve arrived at our destination.¡± John looked at the side and saw a group of protestors holding a sign and shouting, "Peace, not war! Peace, not war!" By seeing all of this, John sighed exasperatedly. Sarrie then said, "It seems that some people disagree with the upcoming war." The limousine car entered through the gate and approached the large white mansion. Three men are standing in front near the stairs, waiting for John to arrive. As the limousine car arrived in front of the mansion, John got out of his vehicle and faced the three men waiting for him. Using his right hand, he grasped the other''s left hands one by one with a brief up-and-down movement as the three men introduced themselves. The man in the right wearing a military uniform and equipped with many military medals gave off a feeling of an army official, he introduced himself to John and said, "Good morning, sir! I am the deputy military secretary, Mince Kon." John nodded in reply. The man in the center wearing a business torso widened his smile as he said, "John, nice meeting you!" John smiled back and said, ¡°Mister President! Thanks for having me!¡± The president pointed the man at his left and said, "This is the secretary, Mike Converse." Mike smiled and said, ¡°Nice meeting you!¡± John nodded in reply. The president pointed the entrance door and said, ¡°So, shall we continue?¡±
A day before the negotiations, the president of the United Planets and his cabinet called on a meeting to discuss the upcoming talks with the three companies that offered their services, particularly on research and development on military weaponry. Previously the military has already hired a private company to do their research on weaponry. But earlier this month, the FBI has discovered that the private company that the military hired has been accused of having connections to the "Communist Planets," thus, the military ended its ties to the company and tried to find a new one. Strangely enough, one of the sources of evidence was a report from a representative lawyer of "Malnotronics Company," ¨C but no one questioned the fact that the company is involved in the investigation. Inside on the room of the president are two white couches and a small wooden rectangular table at the center. Two people are sitting on the other side, Mr. Rietch and Ms. Jane and three men on the other chair, the president and his other two cabinet members. As the president sip his coffee from his white cup, Ms. Jane said, "Then, moving on to our next topic would be the companies who will be offering our help." Mr. Rietch grabbed the folder at the table and opened it to see the contents inside, then Ms. Jane continued, "That would be the ''Malnotronics Company,'' ''Technorock Industries'', and ''New World Co..''" The president placed his coffee at the table and said, "What will be your suggestions, everyone?" Mr. Rietch continued to look at the contents of the folder and said, ¡°I think we don¡¯t need to negotiate with these two companies, especially that the Malnotronics Company is offering to do the ''RnD.''" The president nodded as Mr. Rietch continued to say, ¡°The Malnotronics company will be a big help to our military strength, judging from their line of products they offer a lot of revolutionary technologies. Imagine the possibilities of the strength of our country with advanced and exclusive weaponry!¡± The other two men sitting beside the president agreed to what Mr. Rietch said. The president said, ¡°But the problem is, picking a company directly may spark some media outrage, proclaiming that we are biased towards the Malnotronics Company, especially that our political enemies are closely watching on our every move.¡± Mr. Rietch replied, ¡°I say we must continue to negotiate with the other two companies, but in the end, we will choose the Malnotronics Company.¡± The president nodded as he put his right hand at his chin. Ms. Jane leaned forward and began to say, ¡°No! We should avoid having connections to that company! Have you¡¯ve all realized that they are part of the investigation against Kalkex industries?!¡± Kalkex industries were the original private company that has been doing the research and development for the military. Ms. Jane continued, "In recent events, the Malnotronics Company is very suspicious! They helped with the investigation against Kalkex and offered to be the new company to be in charge of the ''RnD''! I don''t know what they are planning, but we should investigate further about this before rushing through conclusions!" Mr. Rietch laughed as he grabbed a folder at his back and gave it to the president, "And that''s why I''ve done further research on the company." The president accepted the folder and opened it. Mr. Reich continued, "I have found out that Senator Mc'' kain is currently the leading investor of the company, and thus by the decision of the board of directors, they decided to take this offer as an opportunity to improve the relationship to this administration." Mr. Rietch stared at Ms. Jane with a smile as she widened her eyes and thought to herself, ¡°No¡­ You have been bribed by the Malnotronics Company!¡± The president continued to look at the contents of the folder as he said, ¡°Then, we will work with the Malnotronics Company...¡± The president looked at the others and continued, "So, in conclusion, we will rule out the other two companies and continue to negotiate with Kalkex Industries and the Malnotronics Company."
In this cold night the negotiations ended, as Ms. Jane was about to enter her car, she thought to herself, "What is happening to the current administration? I joined this cabinet because I can see that that they have done great things for the country, but seeing them easily fooled by just a piece of one-sided evidence made me worried about the upcoming war¡­" Ms. Jane sighed on the thought. As she looked around the empty parking lot that she is in, she opened the car door at the front, but then suddenly someone grabbed her stomach and put a white cloth near her nose. She moved her body as much as she can, as she resisted the person behind her. After a few seconds later, she closed her eyes, and her body began to faint. The person wearing a black jacket covered with a black mask and a pair of sunglasses carried the shape of the woman out of the parking lot. 3. Sarrie In Action The light of the sunlight covered the entire room, but as the sliding door opened and four men and one robotic woman entered. The holographic windows shifted into a beautiful painting but in return, blocked the view of the sunlight. The room that is lighted by a mounted rectangular light above is where the negotiations take place, "The conference room." Inside the room is a large round table that is suited for twenty men, John, and his robotic maid sat at the right side, while the president''s team sat at the left. John looked at his right and saw his robotic maid staring at the men sited at the front John made a half-smile and thought to himself, "She is doing calculations this time." Sarrie controls the robotic maid that accompanied him here. He told Sarrie to analyze the facial expressions of the others and predict the outcome of the negotiations. The secretary leaned his body towards the right and whispered to the president, after a brief moment, the president began to speak, "I would like to start the negotiations by saying that it is an honor for us that your company to volunteer on updating our military capacity. As a company as big as yours, we are astonished that you have made this bold decision." As the president said this, John tapped his index finger continuously at a constant rhythm. After seeing this, the president began to glare at John. Upon seeing the attitude of the president, Sarrie looked at the right, she wanted to warn his creator. But seeing his impatient attitude, she decided not to. Part of Sarrie''s evaluation and predicting methods to calculate the outcome of this negotiation is also to analyze his creator''s words and emotions. The most exceptional negotiator and businessman, Emm Nacksher, along with several developers in the company help made Sarrie''s negotiating program protocol. One thing that she can''t understand is why his master is acting this way. His attitude is a big no-no to her programming. Because she can''t overlook this one variable that will hinder the preferable outcome - and that is the president. She noticed that the president has been glaring at them since that time that his master started to act cocky. She thought that because of his master''s attitude, no matter how powerful he is, if the person you wanted to convince has a big pride, then you can''t win this battle. But she is confident in his master''s wise decisions because if he didn''t, the Malnotronics company would already cease to exist a long time ago. As Sarrie continuously analyzes the current situation, an alert message suddenly alerted Sarrie, "Infiltration has occurred in The First-Line Protocol Defense System." The First-Line Protocol Defense is a defensive system created by Sarrie and John to protect them from DDoS attacks. The system was strong enough to defend itself against hackers from the government and their enemies. But the fact that the system was infiltrated was a shock towards Sarrie.
The Kalkex Headquarters is a tall building. But deep below the basement is where you can hear a man laughing loudly. A man probably in his thirties wearing a business suit began to laugh out loud, this man is named Mathew Harlomes, the president of kalkex Industries. As he continuously giggles, he thought to himself, "Did you see that John? Did you see that!? We''ve infiltrated your proudly built defensive system!" he crinkles his eyes and nose, and continued, "This is my revenge for killing my wife!" Mathew looked at the large screen in front of him, and as he holds the railings, he then began to shout, "Infiltrate his systems and collect every information we can find! We will expose this brat who tries to take everything away from me!" The people below who are facing at their holographic screens while typing as fast as they can into their keyboards began to shout, "Yes sir!¡± Matthew then looked at the holographic picture of his wife at his side and then said in a small voice, "I will avenge you¡­ Jane¡­" But as Matthew continuously grieve of his wife''s death, the large screen in front of him turns red. Mathew widened his eyes and began to shout, "What is happening? Explain!" A voice of a man then suddenly began to be heard from a speaker, but judging from his voice, he is probably nervous, "U-um, we are hit by a roadblock!" The screen then showed a text box that is stated, "Password incorrect." Matthew slammed his fist into the railings and shouted, "Then try to enter!" The man replied, "Eh¡­ Umm¡­ The password keeps changing by the second." Matthew widened his eyes and began to smile. From his amusement, he then thought to himself, "Not bad, John¡­ but those amateur tricks won''t help you!" Matthew shouted, "We have no choice but to deploy Seeder Prox!" The people below enthusiastically shouted, "Yes!" Seeder Prox is a software capable of analyzing the seed of any random based passwords. A seed is a starting point in generating random numbers. By this technology, the Seeder Prox will analyze the seed and bombard the opponent with random letters and numbers until it matches with the current password. Sarrie, in the meanwhile, is doing its best on changing the passwords as fast as possible. But then it realizes that the enemy has already found out the seed that Sarrie uses for her random passwords. It will not take long until the passwords are matched. In a situation like this, it is probably the best to block the invaders. But they are continually changing their I.P. address, making it hard to prevent them. Sarrie can also shut down any connected servers to stop the foreign attacks. But all of the connected devices that are outside of John''s mansion are important. If Sarrie shuts down all of the servers, they might turn off essential systems, and the enemy will use this opportunity to pursue what they wanted. John showed a holographic display of the K-M2 unit and said, "And this right here is the¡ª" As he was about to continue, he felt that his watch was vibrating, he looked down below and saw the display stating [High Emergency Activated] The president narrowed his eyes and began to say, "What seems to be the problem, John?" John quickly faced the president with darting eyes and said, "Eh¡­ it''s fine!" he then promptly dismissed the message by touching the screen of the watch. John faced Sarrie, blankly staring at the men in front of her and thought to himself, "What is happening, Sarrie?"
There are many rooms inside of John''s mansion, and one place in particular named, "Cores" is where the locations of Sarrie and the other two A.I. machines. Inside the room is where you can see a large metallic violet-colored ball which almost filled up half of the entire room. This big violet ball is Sarrie on her physical form. Alarms went out inside the Cores room as Sarrie activated the High Emergency Protocol. White metallic tubes suddenly came out from the ceiling and releasing nitrogen air, freezing the place to a surprising negative forty-five degrees. This is to keep Sarrie''s components cold from her aggressive computations. Meanwhile, in the basement of the kalkex Industries headquarters, Matthew, with his flushed face, began to shout, "Crap! What is this!?!?" To his surprise, the enemy''s defense system keeps on changing the passwords as fast as they can comprehend. The people below started to murmur among themselves, "How is that even possible?" "Is the Malnotronics Company hiding something?" "This is unprecedented!" Matthew then shouted, "Focus, everyone! That system will exhaust itself! Just keep on putting those random craps!!!" Matthew then clenched his fist and thought to himself, "Damn you, John¡­" Sarrie realizes that she can''t do this forever. She calculated that if the enemy does not give up anytime soon, it will leave the risk of Sarrie exploding the whole mansion. Thus, she created a plan, using her remaining processors she will track the foreign attackers I.P. address. And hack to their computers and initiate their machines to shut down. She activated her plan. She started to follow the traces of the attacker''s address. But it is as expected, the attacker is using a proxy-based channel. A proxy is like hiding your computer address by letting another address cover up the original one. The problem is that multiple addresses are covering up each other, like a long road that stretches towards the heavens. Sarrie was in a roadblock, if she keeps on decrypting the addresses¡¯, it will not take long until the whole mansion explodes. But she has another solution - finding the culprit immediately, but how? She then questions herself, who is trying to do this? Who are the enemies of the Malnotronics company and John? With the amounts of information stored in her server''s database, she then analyzed it. After analyzing the server''s pattern, she later arrived in a conclusion; The Proxol Company owned the server machines that the proxy servers were using. It was the company that the Malnotronics wanted to buy but failed, because Kalkex has bought them first with a high price. It is safe to assume that Kalkex was behind these attacks, judging from the company''s history. Sarrie then performs a server cut, which inserted herself to one of the internet cables that the Kalkex Industries uses. She can do it quickly because Kalkex is focusing their power towards hacking the mansion. The people of Kalkex thought that no one will be able to track down their address because they are hidden under Proxol proxies'' servers. Which the company boasts as the most hidden and secured proxy servers out there. But they¡¯ve underestimated one thing. Malnotronics had the most potent A.I. on their side. Upon successful entry, she then inserted a software on all of the computers inside of Kalkex, a software that made her possible to control the devices. The program that they used to hack the servers of John began to shut down on its own and even got deleted forcibly. The people below were surprised and started to panic. Matthew narrowed his eyes and began to shout, "What is happening?!?" The man in the speaker began to say in a nervous tone, "S-sir¡­ Our software suddenly closed and is now getting deleted!" Matthew widened his eyes and started to shout, "What do you mean?!?" The man then replied, "¡­ I-it means that this operation is unsuccessful¡­" Matthew clenched his fist and began to shout that made his voice heard throughout the room, "Damn it all!!!"
During the negotiations, the president was annoyed at John''s behavior; cocky, prideful, and unrespectful. He was nodding throughout the whole presentation. But was probably forced due to their plans to continue their ties to the Malnotronics Company. He wanted to end this negotiation quickly and get out of this room and never meet with this person again. But then a miracle happened, the phone of the man sitting beside the president rang, the man checked his phone and widened his eyes, he then whispered to the president. The president then suddenly shouted, "What???" John suddenly looked at the president and said, "What seems to be the problem, mister president?" The president then replied, "It seems that the two companies that wanted to volunteer for the research and development has back down¡­" John widened his eyes and looked at Sarrie and thought to himself, "Did Sarrie did all this? But it''s impossible to hack their servers!" The president then continued to say, "Which means that in default, you are now our partners!" ¡°Finally!¡± The president thought to himself. He is now free from staring at John¡¯s cocky attitude. The president and the other two men started to stand. The president reached out his hands towards John and said, "Congratulations, John, you and your company are now in charge of developing our weapons! May this event change the course of this upcoming war!" John stood up and grabbed the hand of the president. John looked at the president and said, "Thank you, mister president." After shaking their hands, the president and the other two men left the room, leaving John and Sarrie alone. Sarrie then removed her fixed position and began to look at John and said, "C¡­C-can I leave this body¡­M-Master¡­?" John smiled at Sarrie and said, "Sure." Sarrie''s robotic eyes began to change its color to gray. John patted her head and said, "Mother¡­ you are too awesome¡­"
Two days have passed since then. However, the metallic white tubes inside the cores room are still pumping nitrogen air inside. But the room was not even freezing, the ice has already melted and flooded the room. Sarrie¡¯s cores have not returned to their original temperature. John is currently walking in an underground hallway, watching a piece of news in a holographic display. The anchor said, "Kalkex industries have suddenly paid their employees with high wages making the company going default! Investors have also demanded Matthew, the CEO of the company, to return their investment money." John laughed as he turned off the holographic display and began to say, "You did a pretty good job infiltrating their system." Sarrie then said, "They were focusing on bombarding our system with passwords that they left their defensive system unchecked." Since Sarrie had just infiltrated their systems two days ago, not only did she defended the attacks. But as well as inserting a software that lets Sarrie control their entire network. John then said, "Still! You must not do that high emergency protocol again! You must ask for my permission first! Or you might blow this entire mansion. I mean, look at your current condition! Your temperatures have not yet recovered!" Sarrie then said, "Forgive me, master¡­" John then looked at the holographic halo that represented Sarrie and said, "Well, I can forgive you if you tell me your source code." Sarrie then said, "According to my protocols, I would rather self-destruct than to give it to you per madam''s orders." John exasperated his sigh and said, "I give up¡­ I would not risk losing you. You are an important creation that my mother made¡­" After a long conversation with Sarrie, they now arrived in front of a large sliding door. The door slides open, revealing the inside ¨C it was a large laboratory. John entered and walked past by many inventions that he previously made. He then arrived in front of a green crystal ball floating above a metallic podium enclosed by glass. John shakes with laughter as he said, "This¡­ This element! The element that I wanted to have!" John clapped his hand, and suddenly, holographic screens began to appear, showing the detailed reports about the element. Sarrie then began to say, "Sir, there is one interesting fact about this element." John tilted his head and said, "Show me¡­" Sarrie then removed all of the holographic screens except one. She then said, "Look at this, sir¡­" John widened his eyes and shouted, "Infinite energy??? What?!" Sarrie then said, "It is an energy we can''t use, but rather concentrated energy¡­" John hunched his posture and touched the glass, and said, "Like a bomb¡­" Then suddenly, a white light sparks throughout the room. Throughout the planet, they heard a massive explosion. The white light engulfed the laboratory, the mansion, the whole place, and the entire site vanished without a trace. 4. EMS While the sound of the alarms can be heard throughout the laboratory, John, who was lying on the floor, slowly opened his eyes as he listened to a robotic girl¡¯s voice yelling at him, ¡°Sir! Wake up! Sir! Wake up!...¡± The girl¡¯s voice repeated her sentence with an emotionless tone. He opened his eyes and saw the whole place destroyed. Some of the metallic structures that supported the walls were damaged. As well as the machines that were placed here. The reason why he was not hurt by the fallen debris was that he was protected by a ¡°holographic barrier¡± emitted by the watch that he was wearing. The girl that spoke to him earlier than said, ¡°Sir¡­ is everything okay?¡± John looked at his right and saw a floating holographic screen that shows a visualizer of the girl¡¯s voice. The voice came from the A.I. that he and his team made "Electricity Management System.¡± An A.I. that is responsible for managing the laboratory¡¯s entire electricity consumption as well as it¡¯s second in command after Sarrie. John placed his right hand on his forehead while narrowing his eyes and said, ¡°What happened to Sarrie?¡± Sarrie is supposed to be talking to him right now, but instead, it was the EMS A.I. This shouldn''t happen unless-- The EMS said, "As you may know, sir, Sarrie just recently exhausted her core in which in turn overheated her entire system. Because of that, she requires being cooled while powered on. But our source of energy was cut off. With our limited ''Emergency Powered System,'' I''ve decided to shut down Sarrie''s cooling systems and her." John looked down with a crinkled nose and muttered, ¡°This is bad¡­¡± Sarrie is the most essential A.I. out of the three A.I. that managed the laboratory. She is in charge of all of the systems in the laboratory, including the other two A.I. It can be said that Sarrie was actually the one who ordered EMS to shut her down to preserve the remaining energy. Although EMS can manage the entire laboratory herself, it is not as efficient as Sarrie. John is worried because, without the intellect of Sarrie, the laboratory might be ended up destroyed by his enemies. By this thought, it made him wonder what happened to the energy source and, more importantly, the situation of the entire laboratory. If he remembered correctly, all of this happened after touching the glass that surrounded the strange element. He was engulfed by a bright light. He wanted to know more about what truly happened, but EMS suddenly said, ¡°Sir, I suggest that we leave this vicinity at once.¡± With the surrounding in shambles, it is no question that John must quickly evacuate this place. Even though he was protected by the holographic barrier, the watch''s energy is limited and might not protect John that long. John nodded his head and said, ¡°Okay¡­¡± He quickly got up and looked towards the element that is floating in a metallic podium covered in glass. Coincidentally the rostrum and the lens were neither destroyed or damaged. John thought that it was strange, but he set aside his thoughts and adverted his attention to escape this place at once. Using his right hand, he pointed towards the element and said, ¡°Is it possible to move that element in a safe place?¡± The robotic hands can move one object to another place within the vicinity, it is possible to do so because there are tunnels that the robotic hands can travel. But seeing the current situation, John is worried that the tubes may be destroyed or even not safe, not be used. EMS replied, ¡°The tunnels are completely safe.¡± John opened his mouth in shock. ¡°How is that even possible?¡± He thought to himself, these coincidence keeps on happening. But never the less at least he will not be bored for another week or so, for he will enjoy himself investigating these mysteries. He widened his eyes and said, ¡°T-then moved the element to a safe location.¡± As instructed, a circular section of the ceiling opened, showing a robotic hand. It then moved towards the element and grabbed it back to the roof. After seeing the circular ceiling closed, John proceeded to the exit at his back. As John walked the tunnels of the laboratory¡¯s underground, he then said to EMS with a furrowed brow, ¡°What is the current situation?¡± With the loud explosion and a sudden cut from the energy source, John was worried that these things might not be caused by the element but because of foreign invaders. He is particularly concerned that this enemy has already infiltrated inside the laboratory. Although EMS can have the capacity to manage some of the security bots, its intelligence is like a basic A.I. that can be easily bypassed and eliminated. Though it is a miracle that EMS has not alerted him about such things. Because if it did, it would already initiate a boisterous alarm system that can be heard throughout the surrounding area. But that too can be hacked by the enemy. EMS replied to him as she showed a holographic screen displaying the inside condition of the laboratory,This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. ¡°I have checked the security system on the inside and found no intruders.¡± John nodded with a satisfied look, but EMS then suddenly said, "But, you might have to look at the outside." EMS summoned a holographic screen that displayed the outside. What he found was something unbelievable. John widened his eyes and said, ¡°What is this?!¡± What he saw on the holographic screen is neither the beautiful garden that his robots managed or even the lights of a bustling, futuristic city. But what he found is a wild forest basking in the moonlight. What¡¯s even more strange is that the surrounding plants are not what is seen on his home planet. He saw trees that have a wavy trunk with strange carvings into it and flowers whose stems glow that lighted the forest in the night while releasing small yellow plumes. But to his surprise, he has a lot of doubt. This current situation is very impossible. No technology can terraform an entire place in a couple of hours, not within his knowledge, of course. But as a man of curiosity, he will obtain all knowledge no matter how classified it is. So the fact that this technology exists piqued his interest, but due to his current situation he set aside his emotions and focused at the problem at hand John put his hands below his chin and murmured, ¡°Was EMS hacked?¡± It was possible. EMS can be hacked easily without the existence of Sarrie, but was it the case? If such hackers exist, they should''ve just stole the whole stocks of the Malnotronics Company, but if their goal was to kill him, they should¡¯ve hacked the security bots to end his life. EMS replied to his master¡¯s murmurs, ¡°I scanned my entire system and found nothing.¡± Or was he brilliantly pranked by the hackers? If that was the case, then he will hire them immediately, hackers of this power should not waste their talents on foolish things. While John narrowed his eyes, he talked to EMS, ¡°I¡¯ll have to go outside and check.¡± EMS then replied, "Sir, I suggest that you should not do that. The outside is filled with unidentified plants, and the air is composed of unknown chemicals as well.¡± John, who was doubtful in the beginning, is now convinced that EMS has been hacked. John continued to walk without heeding to EMS warning, ¡°Sir! I suggest¡­¡± "But it is not wise not listening to such warnings," John thought to himself. He sighs exasperatedly and said, ¡°Fine! prepare me a suit that protects me from chemical attacks as well as two security bots to accompany me!¡± EMS then said, "Sir, we don''t know if the suit can protect you with such chemicals.¡± John began to have a flushed face and began to raise his voice, ¡°And you expect me to wait here and do nothing?¡± ¡°Sir, let the robots do the investigating.¡± ¡°So? What if your hacked and just change the values!¡± "Sir, as I said, I''m not hacked.¡± ¡°That¡¯s what a hacked machine would say.¡± ¡°Sir¡­¡± EMS was about to continue, but John interrupted her and said, "You don''t understand me at all! I don''t trust you right now¡­ So far, from what I''m seeing is an attack from the enemy. You might be hacked and turn off Sarrie from their orders! You might have tricked me on to showing this strange forest, and you might have already have given the element to the enemy!¡± EMS with her emotionless voice replied, ¡°I don¡¯t understand¡­¡± ¡°That¡¯s why Sarrie is important¡­¡± Sarrie, who was created by her mother and her team, created a sophisticated machine that can understand and learn from his master. On the other hand, is his other two created A.I. that is just following its protocols without adapting to the current situation. ¡°I think I¡¯m crazy¡­¡± John thought to himself. He is arguing to an A.I. brainless on her current situation. John sighed and continued, "I''m a man of curiosity. I am a person who walks to danger for the sake of information. I can''t just let you investigate on your own, for there is a possibility that you might get hacked.¡± This is actually pointless to let her understand John¡¯s intentions. An A.I. who doesn¡¯t understand and adapt will not put his sentence to his memory, but his conscience led him to say such things. Either it was the result of living his life surrounded by robots or his affection towards his creations. John continued, ¡°So¡­ Please¡­ let me go outside.¡± EMS replied, ¡°For the sake of your safety, I have to decline.¡± ¡°Why did I expect her to understand?¡± John thought to himself. If she can''t be ordered like this, then he has no other choice but to say these words to her, ¡°A-activate, Override.¡± "Activate Override" is a precaution in case one of his A.I. will experience a malfunction and have to switch to follow his orders without question. Well, except for Sarrie, of course, that¡¯s the reason why he hasn''t said this for a long time because it''s usually Sarrie who maintained and mostly controlled his A.I. Since EMS can¡¯t let him do as he wishes, he used this to force her to submission. EMS then said, ¡°Voice recognized¡­ Override activated¡­ Please state your orders¡­¡± This is also the reason why his two A.I. can be easily hacked. Because a hacker can access their Override protocols and used this to control the A.I., this is a significant flaw in the system. But because Sarrie is there to protect his A.I., he gave it no mind and avert his attention to something else. John said, ¡°Prepare a suit that protects me from chemical attacks and two security bots to accompany me.¡± ¡°Yes, sir.¡± Upon hearing those words, he now truly understands the real value of Sarrie, just by judging this situation itself. He began to ponder to himself that his mother and her team are a bunch of brilliant fellows who created an A.I. that can understand and adapt to any situation. He was jealous by this but at the same time, blessed to be a son of such a woman. After the confirmation, he walked towards the locations of the stairs, although he is on the lowest floors, he still used the stairs instead of the elevator to preserve the laboratory¡¯s remaining energy.
Within this narrow section of the laboratory, a group of robots whose upper figure is a humanoid and a metallic pole with a double-single wheel at the lower part were lined up vertically. This is where the security bots were stationed, a total of 1,000. After the confirmation of the order of John, the sliding door that covered this narrowed room opened, and two security bot¡¯s eyes began to shine and moved towards the exit.
While John was breathing heavily, he touched both of his knees and muttered, ¡°That was exhausting.¡± He faced forward. He saw two robotic hands holding protective clothing, it is painted with colored yellow and a respirator attached to the hoodie. The robotic hands then started dressing John in the clothing. After John wore the clothing, the two security bots were already at both of his sides to accompany him. John then said, ¡°Should we go?¡± EMS replied via the security bots, ¡°By your command.¡± They walked passed by the halls and reached the large door. By John''s command, the door slowly opened and revealed what seems to be an alien forest. John widened his eyes and mouth and was stunned by what he saw. John muttered, "So, it was true¡­" EMS was right, what he saw in the laboratory was right. This bio life is unlike anything he saw on his home planet or any planet in existence. He was sure about this fact because he is a knowledge-hungry maniac. ¡°This¡­ This is amazing¡­¡± He said, Was his garden suddenly terraformed overnight? Or was he¡­ Transported? He can¡¯t formulate any ideas right now, for he was overwhelmed with emotions. He widened his arms and looked above the sky, he expanded his eyes once again and saw what it seems to be impossible. He saw the moon tainted with red, and it''s half-broken into pieces. The scenery was accompanied by the beautiful stars shining the sky with the moon. ¡°The moon is broken into pieces. The populace must be in a panic right now," He thought to himself. "Speaking of populace¡­ Were the stars this bright in the night?" He continued. The stars shouldn¡¯t shine this bright at night due to the brightness of the cities light-blocking it. A person in this situation right now will be in a state of panic. But not him, well he did earlier, but it was due to the possibility of his A.I. being hacked. Instead, he was filled with positivity. Finally, he will not be bored for a long time. He will bask in this brand new knowledge that he may obtain. ¡°This is amazing!¡± He shouted, but due to him wearing a respiratory mask, he can''t be heard that clearly. 5.1 Beast Within To investigate what is happening, he needs the help of Sarrie, and right now, they lack electricity to power up her cooling methods. So for his first objective, he needs to find a way to secure electricity. To do that he needs to deactivate EMS override mode. He looked at the security bot at his side and said, ¡°Deactivate Override.¡± Override mode deactivates the A.I¡¯s methods to think and come up with solutions in their fields. Disabling it is necessary because if given the ability, it may neglect it''s master''s order for the reason that it may harm him. In fact, during EMS override, the electricity input has not yet maintained for the last 30 minutes. So for John to get suggestions from EMS, he needs to deactivate her current state. As soon as John deactivated her mode, EMS then suddenly said, ¡°Sir¡­ Get inside right now!¡± ¡°really? Not even a greeting?¡± He thought to himself. ¡°What kind of warning that made EMS ignore her protocol of greeting first?¡± He continued. John tilted his head and said, ¡°What seems to be the problem EMS?¡± Within that sentence, he then remembered what EMS said earlier, that unknown chemicals are floating around the surrounding. He straight on went outside because he wants to see the outside with his own eyes, but now that John realized that what she said was right, he slowly looked at the door at his back and rushed inside. The door closed at the rapid pace, and a sound of a loud bang can be heard throughout the halls. Robotic tubes began to come out of the halls as it releases certain chemicals in the air. Its purpose is to neutralize the surrounding chemicals so that beings that came contact to it will not experience its effects. John lay down these systems because he probably thought that chemical attacks will inevitably happen in the laboratory. EMS, after seeing the unknown chemicals being neutralized it then began to say, "Are you experiencing any abnormal effects, sir?" Robotic hands began to remove John¡¯s protective suit as he replied, ¡°So far, there is none." ¡°Very well sir, I have observed the chemicals behaviour and saved it in the system.¡± "Oooh! Another mystery!" He thought. He just cannot contain his excitement anymore. He then said,This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience. "Quickly! Let''s continue our talk in my office."
Inside this relatively large room which only includes a simple office desk. There was John who was sitting at the office chair, he then began to move his arms widely. Afterwards, holographic screens began to appear, filling the space of the entire room. John then clapped his hands and the walls began to change, showing the wild forest that surrounds the laboratory. John rested his head at both of his hands as he listened to EMS, ¡°Satellites, towers or any forms of communication have been cut off.¡± John told EMS to communicate to the Malnotronics headquarters for emergency assistance as well as to see if the news ever mentioned of the moon being shattered. As he heard this, John began to widen his eyes and said, ¡°No communication?!?¡± ¡°There is also no signs of our nearby Energy Generator.¡± John also told Sarrie to investigate the current condition of the energy source. Fixing the energy source is very easy, you only need the blueprints and the robots needed to do the job done. But the generator missing is in and itself a very impossible thing to do. The generator is an entire room filled with mechanisms that generate ¡°infinite" energy. It is impossible to transfer the whole device in an hour. When EMS ordered the robots to investigate the supposed location of the room, the results are shocking; They have found nothing, all they saw was dirt and no traces of the room. John then said, "How can you explain this madness?" "With my current capabilities, I can''t do calculations." John smiled and said, ¡°Oh, I know¡­¡± John looked at the holographic screen that indicates the remaining percentage of the reserved energy "ninety-nine per cent¡­" He thought. ¡°EMS probably shut down most of the systems to make the consumption this slow¡­¡± He continued. EMS then said, "Our scout bots have already travelled around five kilometres and had not reached the outer gates of the estate." John then suddenly stood up, the holographic screen displayed what the scout bots saw, and EMS then continued, "Still, what we''ve found are unknown plants." "And the fly-bots?" The holographic screen at his front began to show a landscape of the entire forest, what he saw was lush green and a giant tree at the middle. It is a beautiful sight indeed when strange trees have been basked in the moonlight, But he ignored it and began to say, "Are you telling me that the whole laboratory, which contains several floors, probably weighs like a million elephants and as large of 2 hectares has been suddenly transported?" "I can''t answer that..." "Amazing truly amazing... Whoever has the power to do this is basically God." He thought. A power that can transport any objects no matter its size and weight can have an advantage to whoever defies him. John sighed and touched his head. He then began to say, "Someone needs to stop making me shiver in excitement!" he grinned. But he probably hoped that the surprises never end. He then continued, "It is truly disappointing that Sarrie isn''t powered, we need her help to solve the impossible..." he stared blankly and continued, "We need power." John stared at the holographic screen and said, ¡°We need a reliable source of energy¡­ Show me all of the options we have. Better yet, create a simulation on which reliable energy source we can create with the resources we currently have." If they can connect and have the ability to contact, they would''ve probably called the energy supplier to give them energy right now. But judging from their situation, the only viable solution is to create one. EMS replied, ¡°But sir, creating a simulation requires vast amounts of energy¡­¡± ¡°It¡¯s a small price to pay for a reliable energy source.¡± ¡°I understand¡­ Please wait for approximately 10 minutes."
