《The warring Medy》 The Strategist Mistake Captain, a message from the 6th Fang" the runner was covered in dirt, he had come from the message tunnels dug as preparation for the attack. He had a courier insignia on his shoulder, a wing made of lead. That insignia would allow him to enter anywhere of command until he reached his target for delivery. "Thank you, courier. There some water and rations please serve yourself" The courier nodded at his reponse and helped himself some water. The captain opened the small envelop with his long nails. "We will not be able to link with your fang in time, theres some resistance on our target. We will try to reinforce you once he finished our objective", So the small message read. The captain crushed the piece of paper on his hand. He had to began attacking his target, Tower town, only humans would come up with a name like that. The town was a medium size garrison of the Zel Federation, a big tower dominated the view, at its sides extended the town wall. Tower town was a important vantage point for the Federation. His task was to take Tower town, and annihilate its residents. Similar enemy positions along the Hegemony west border would be attacked. The 6th Fang target, was a small village with no real defenses at the border of the Federation and the Vanian Domain. They were supposed to route the village, and link with his forces, that would close the north as an escape option for Tower town. They had been studying the enemy forces for over 3 years to prepare this attack. "Bring me pen a paper" An assistant passed what he needed, "What is your name courier?" "Lukterian, sir" the courier had finished eating the rations and now stood to attention behind the captain" "Courier Lukterian, you will take this message to Strategist Nurka" the courier and everyone on the captain''s tent stood straighter at that name, "You will not stop, until you do, understood" The captain handed a small piece of paper to the courier, he took it and make a salute, "It will be done, Captain Crimsontail" "Good" The captain raise a fist as a salute response. The courier left his tent running. "We are advancing at once, Tower town will fall before dawn" The captain and his escort left his tent. Everyone of his officials saluted him, and began movilizing towards Tower town. They had dug tunnels, leading to a small hill next to the south wall of Tower town. The enemy knew they were adept diggers, they had once take a fortress by infiltrating a basement. They had prepared their strongholds with pits and had taken some miners to look for our tunnels, we lost that edge during the war, but "peace" had made their enemy slack. They have once more began using the tunnels, but to move unseen. The enemy still knew we could make em, but they felt safe with their precautions. They had forgotten, the might of the Hegemony, but tomorrow afternoon, they would remember. He would assure, they would remember. The captain, look at the night sky and took a deep breath before covering his head with his helmet. They had made a really elaborate plan, to attack several places at the same time, and link up, to take important defenses. They have worked for 3 years to create the tunnels, and move their forces in silence. He was assigned one of the thoughest and most important targets in the plan. All he had to do now, was simple. This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there. He was moving with a fair pace in the small tunnel, very few torches were place on it. His soldiers quickly advancing and forming on the other side. The deep mine charges at the ready, the wall ladders as well. His hands tremble a little by the knowledge of what was to come. He did not like the idea of murdering everyone inside Tower town, but it had to be done. He have heard the grand scheme of the plan by strategist Nurka, it was brilliant and well thought. He had openly protested against the idea of mass murdering a town, and many of his peers were "displeased" by his words. But strategist Nurka had not, he looked straight into his eyes and explained to him, and his words were right, but what really convinced captain Crimsontail were strategist Nurka eyes. She knew what she was asking, she had probably tried to come up with different ideas, but there were none better than this one, "I would take responsability for the attack plan, I am the strategist afterall", she had explained him back then. She was younger than him, but in her eyes, he could see, she knew what she was asking, and what he should say to those man who would question if what they were doing was right. She cared, and that was all. Once he heard that, he volunteered to lead one of the most dangerous objectives. After that nobody questioned her plan anymore. He was almost at the end of the tunnel, he could see his man spreading across the hill, crawling on the dirt, moving slowly and silently towards their objective. He had worried when the report came from the 6th Fang. They knew no plan could be executed perfectly, and strategist Nurka was young. She was certain, she had take precautions, but she was young. As he exited the tunnel he kneeled on his position, he was waiting for the last of the soldiers to leave the tunnels. He looked at the night sky again, it was almost time for dawn to come. He looked at his men, all staring back to him, he grinned, and raised a single fist. His men launched themselves to action. Tower town would soon remember the might of the hegemony, the cold tactics of stategist Nurka and to fear his men. The strategist had deviced the 6th Fang to reinforce his attack force, that was a safety net for the plan, but he needed no help from them. That was the strategist mistake, she had not known for real, what his men could do. He would show her. He would not fail. His only worry was, to take Tower town as fast as he could. So that he could make sure the 6th Fang made their job. His men were quickly climbing the ladders, the deep mine charges already placed. His scouts were taking sentinels on the walls, weak screams coming from the death defenders. "WE ARE UNDER ATTACK, RAISE THE ALARM", a shout came from one of the walls, and enemy sergeant probably, Tower town would soon rise to defend, but it was late. "Detonate the charges, we charge towards the town square, lieutenant Zeli, take your man and don''t stop until you reach the northen gate. No one leaves this place alive" he told his officers to his sides. "It will be done, Captain" "Today, the world will remember the Hegemony" every one of his officials raised a fist in salute. The deep mine charges exploded taking an entire section of the walls with them. They had been placed on the wall next to the soldier barracks. Screams and wails quickly filled the air. "Storm in" Captain Crimsontail unsheated his red sword and began the assault insde Tower town 1.2 Missives at Dawn Something was wrong, she was certain, there had been couriers entering the manor. She had woken almost at dawn and saw 2 couriers arriving. One wore the Reitzmelt colors, the other one was a vanian military courier. It was not rare for military couriers to visit the manor, but not at this hour in the morning, and the courier looked like it had raced to get here. Her bedroom had a small window from where she could see the entrance gates and the stables. She hurriedly dressed in a simple sky-blue dress, it was simple but from and excellent fabric. Her mother had at last accepted that she did not fancy the more elaborate dresses other ¡°ladies¡± her age wore. She tied her hair on a simple braid and stormed out of her room. The manor staff was surely about to begin their activities, but the early couriers had drawn many people attention. Her room was on the east side of the manor. She headed to the main stairs. ¡°Good morning, miss Agathe¡± a middle age woman, in her maid outfit greeted her as she reached the stairs, ¡°I imagine, you are rushing towards the studio?¡± She was the head maid of the manor staff, Mrs. Muller. ¡°Good morning, Mrs. Muller, yes, did you happened to know what is going on¡± she quickly asked. ¡°I don¡¯t know my dear, but please tell your father, I have already ordered, Mr. Muller to prepare the kitchens, and ill send someone to ask what they need in a moment, I just need to speak with Lady Claire first¡± they shared a courteous nod and each keep their way. ¡°Something really important most have happened, and father is already there¡±, she descended the stairs into the main entrance. She then took towards her father¡¯s studio. She stood in front of the door and gave it two firm nocks. ¡°It is open, Agathe, come in¡± her father voice came as a response. She entered the studio; it would be more appropriate to call it a council room. A large oval table surrounded by chairs dominated the space. At the end of the room was a desk and some shelves, next to it a series of different pieces of furniture were arrange like a lounge. Her father sat at his favorite bright green armchair, he had two missives at hand. Next to him sat Sir Kiernan, his father master of arms. ¡°Good morning, Sir Kiernan¡± she quickly and politely saluted the man. He was a bit older than her father, and had been appointed as master of arms, since he took charge of the manor. He was almost like and uncle. ¡°Good morning miss Agathe¡± he was distressed, he was usually cheerful, especially with her. She went near her father, he looked troubled. The years had finally reached him, he was 61, and even though he still looked handsome, his hair was slowly turning grey, and his firm body was just a bit round on the edges. She went to kiss him on the cheek, he lowered his missives for a moment, to return the greeting. ¡°Mrs. Muller told me her husband is ready for any orders at the kitchen, someone will come shortly to ask what you need¡± She told them both. ¡°Blessed Mrs. Muller, she knows food is needed in order to think¡± Her father replied more energetic, and motion her to sit on a cushioned chair next to him. ¡°I suppose you are here as to why, two couriers arrived at dawn?¡± her father asked her. She tried to make the most inconspicuous face possible as she replied ¡°Well, it is certainly out of the ordinary, specially the military courier¡±. Her father laughed at her response and handed her one of the missives. The one marked with the vanian seal. ¡°You should not let her read that, Lugh¡± Sir Kiernan intervened, he and my father were really close, and were used to call each other by name, but something bad had really happened if he forgot to address him as lord, in front of her. She hesitated with the letter in hand and looked at her father. ¡°Everyone will know what is going on, Kier, she will understand what these means, and you as well know it¡± Her father gave her a nod. Sir Kiernan just grunted. She turned to the letter at hand: ¡°On the 14th of the Hollow Moon, before dawn, there was attack on Rurteran Villeage. Hegemony forces mainly composed of Stakvor, tried to close the village and exterminate everyone in it, the force was estimated to be a Fang unit. There were heavy casualties from the defenders, but the entire enemy force was dealt it and some were apprehended on site. The interrogations should begin by mid-day. There is a supposition of similar attacks on several other border settlements, more importantly, the enemy carried Zel Federation motives. This information is being conferred to every noble, commander and local authority with borders towards the Zel Federation. The borders must be secured, and the troops prepared, the Zel Federation will not be held RESPONSIBLE for the attack until further investigation, it could be a set up by the hands of the Hegemony. The military council has ordered border patrols and has called for the High Council to review the information. Several commanders will be dispatched to assist nobles or take on charge of small settlements. The contents of this missive are delicate in nature, and should not be made public, until the High Council has made a resolution. Expect further or detail instructions, either by another missive or with a dispatched commander. General Luka Richter, Chief of Logistics¡±Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings. Agathe had to reread the missive, she felt sick and cold. She turned to look at her father and Sir Kiernan. The attack had happened yesterday, the logistic department must have received the notification of the attack and decided on to send this missive to all the Domain borders. ¡°You know what this means¡± Her father asked her gently. ¡°War¡± that was her reply, her father nodded. ¡°War indeed, we were discussing with Sir Kiernan and that is our conclusion as well. Once more the military council has proved its worth by acting fast and with enough level head¡± Her father took the missive from her hand and gave her a reassuring pat on the shoulder. ¡°The attack is trouble by itself, but that the hegemony forces carried Zel colors, that is truly concerning¡± She added, her father smiled at her, Sir Kiernan looked at her as if she was different. ¡°We have always prepared for an attack by the Hegemony, but we have been on friendly terms with Zel for more than 150 years, it was only until we reconciled our differences that we were able to stop the Hegemony. The military council is being smart about not forcing any issue until more information is secured, but it is not disregarding the possibility¡± His father explained in a more detailed manner. ¡°This Rurteran village must be a Vanian Frontier, within Margrave Reitzmelt territory¡± She asked. Her father smiled once more, and Sir Kiernan blinked strongly. ¡°Close, it is a Vanian Frontier, part of the expanse border, the village neighbors old Reitz territory¡± he signaled the other letter on his hand, the one with the Reitzmelt family seal, ¡°Old Reitz, received a messenger from Rurteran village explained what had occurred. He mobilized his troops to secure the borders of his territory and send troops to aid Rurteran village. Do you know why he sent a letter as well?¡± ¡°Margrave Retizmelt is and old dog, he would surely ask for us to reinforce our borders as well, and asked for us to send troops as well, he probably thinks that surely other parts of the border were attacked, the north perhaps, us and him sending troops would be invaluable to form a wall for the enemy¡± Sir Kiernan interrupted, his father had only shared the military missive, he was reading the Reitzmelt¡¯s when she had arrive. ¡°True but not entirely¡± His father nodded at Sir Kiernan but turned towards her. ¡°He wants you to confirm Zel¡¯s standing?¡± she ventured ¡°He he he, of course, you truly are quick witted miss Agathe¡± Sir Kiernan broke in a roar ¡°He want us to speak with Zel, if we confirm it is only the Hegemony, we could send troops as aid instead of fortifying our position¡± he grinned at her, she blushed a bit. ¡°That is right, he is asking if we could try to haste Zel participation in these matters, and I am certain, the High Council, with promptly ask me to join a delegation to Zel. I intend to send your aunt a message in a moment¡± He smiled at her. ¡°Excuse sir may I come in?¡± a timid voice asked from behind the door. ¡°Please come inside Mary¡± her father replied. A small girl pushed the door, she was nervous, and her clothes were a bit big for her, ¡°My da¡ Mr. Muller would like to know if you want something from the kitchen, he was sausages ready and freshly baked bread¡± she managed to say, looking at the wooden floor. ¡°You arrived just in time Mary, I would love some sausages and eggs, as well as bread and butter, and some hot wine¡± her father spoke ¡°Kier what would you have?¡± ¡°Just eggs and bread for me Mary, I promised my wife, I would eat less pork¡± Sir Kiernan told her. Mary nodded still looking at the floor. ¡°For you Miss Agathe?¡± Mary asked her, she felt more at easy talking with her, after all she usually played with Mary from time to time. ¡°Just some bread and butter for me Mary¡± Mary nodded as well as ran out of the studio. ¡°We need you to part of our troops ready to march, send orders to Dumas and Ivan, to ready their men, but that¡¯s about it. I¡¯ll write a letter to Sergeant Iori, he needs to ready his mean at check rations, we will send him a copy of the military missive¡± His father was speaking fast, Sir Kiernan just nodding. ¡°You are not sending patrols father¡± She asked ¡°It is not Zel, the Hegemony has used set ups before, but there is no way Zel would launch an attack there, if they chose to attack us, we would have been the targets¡± His father replied confident. ¡°Why are you so certain? I mean, I don¡¯t doubt Zel, but why us?¡± She was worried at this response, theirs were not a big territory, and surely their biggest asset was wine, but Sir Kiernan and his father always kept the troops well fed and prepared, and by Vanian law, every border in the domain received soldiers. Weinburg fortress was not to laugh about, and Sergeant Iorii was as military as you could get in her opinion. ¡°Meissen village has a really small militia, and relatively poor defenses, and its place on a rather easy to defend position. It would be the ideal place for Zel to launch an attack¡± Sir Kiernan told her. ¡°Wait, if we are aware of how unprotected Meissen is, then why have we not do something about it¡¡± She was looking at both men who were grinning ¡°Meissen is bait, you have something prepared for it¡± ¡°We knew we had to focus on our east border with the Hegemony, we have preparations in order to make Zel pay once they take Meissen¡± His father was boasting ¡°What we need to do, is prepare to reinforce the frontier, and establish a clear communication with Zel, they were probably attack as well by allegedly vanian forces¡± His father continued. She was surprised at how fast her father reacted. She was certain he was smart, her mother always told her that is why she married him. He was an Earl, with a decent territory but small, it did have famously renowned wines but nothing more. He had always been more a merchant than noble, but his way of thinking was flexible and alert. He had married the second daughter of a Duke, which is to say above he married above his station, not only that, her mother belonged Zel nobility. This was why he would be the go-to option when a envoy for Zel was needed, he would just be visiting his in laws. ¡°Do you really think it would be war?¡± She had been lost in thoughts for a moment as her father and Sir Kiernan talked about what needed to be done. ¡°I do not know at what scale the Hegemony plans on pushing us, we always have skirmishes with their forces, and have on occasion lost or gain pieces of territory, but I fear this might be bigger, I was 9 years old, when the Hegemony made a last push inside the Domain territory, Old Reitz forces had to safeguard here, before we could launch a counter attack. His oldest son died defending the border on that last push¡± His tone became more somber, but he reassured himself as he looked at her. ¡°This last 50 years had certainly made us more at ease, but the military council has not once lost its edge. This relative peace has gifted us vanians with many things, as I have my daughters, and wife, I am certain many more had worked hard for what they owned and has given us more reasons to stand, do not worry Agathe¡± his words seemed to convince himself as well. ¡°The Vanian Domain is strong, because our hearts are strong, how do you think I was able to convince your mother?¡± ¡°We make the best wine in the whole damn world Lugh¡± Sir Kiernan replied. ¡°She says you were handsome and quick witted¡± She replied. ¡°It was my vanian heart, don¡¯t you dare say otherwise¡± He laughed wholeheartedly and so did she and Sir Kiernan. 1.3 A helping hand Agathe sat on an old sofa, it was a gift from her elder sister Sophie. The sofa was made from Leilan wood, it had a natural dark color, the upholstery had been replaced with a vivid amethyst color. The sofa looked incredible in the small library. Her sister knew Agathe loved to spend time in the library, she brought the sofa on her first visit after she had married. She was reading a book, ¡°The Levi Hegemony Expansion¡±, it was a rare book, one you could seldom find in the Vanian Domain. The book was written by Derik Finlh, he was a historian from the hegemony. The book was written 200 years after the foundation on the hegemony, her father began collecting books when he married. The library was made for her mother, she and her were the ones who really spent a lot of time reading. She had left her father and Sir Kiernan discussing the details of what they should do, they would wait for the high council orders, but they had to begin preparing, after they ate at the studio, she went straight to the library. She had read the book before; it had been incredible for her to read history from a completely different perspective than what she knew. She had born in relative peace, the regular skirmishes between the Domain and the Hegemony, always caught her attention, and her father would talk about them, but she even tough she understood lives were lost each time, and parts of the border had been exchanged between both nations, she had never lost anyone she knew fighting against the Hegemony. She knew Margrave Reitzmelt, he was almost 80, and remained as the head of his house, his son had died defending the Domain. Her father had been friends with him, the Margrave had a younger daughter, Lady Zarina who married General Henry Lioness. He was a career soldier, and had been a Captain, when the Hegemony attack occurred. He was stationed at Reitzmelt Rise, after the Hegemony forces had been repelled, the fortress was reinforced by the army, both by the Margrave in particular. Agathe liked the Margrave a lot, he was like a grandfather for her. He always asked her father to bring her along, whenever he visited the Margrave states. He was a loud person, even though he was old, his voice filled the space whenever he spoke, he was taller than her father but had always been thin. People tended to forget the heavy loss the Margrave carried, yet, he had not let anyone take on his burden as Margrave, but his lost son. War, it had taken something precious for him, yet he still had and easy smile, would she be able to do that? She had to do something, she looked at the book in her hands, she had taken it to remember. She needed to do something. ¡°Hi sis, I thought you would be with dad, trying to make sense of the early couriers¡± her sister Lucille entered the library yawning, she was wearing a gorgeous red dress ¡°What happened? you look pale¡± ¡°Hi Luci¡± she wondered how someone who looked so oblivious to her surroundings and who cared little for, well, almost anything other than gossips and boys, manage to read peoples mood to quickly, did it come with being a gossip? ¡°Something really big is happening¡± Her sister, sat next to her on the sofa, looking a bit drowsy still, ¡°Tell me what it is, you are usually not this somber¡± ¡°There was an attack on Vanian borders by the hegemony¡± her sister drowsy face paled ¡°We are reinforcing our defenses and sending troops to relief to border¡±. Her sister had long and curly hair, it cascades from her head until half her back, rose blonde, her dreamy hazel eyes were locked on Agathe. ¡°This is not one of the regular skirmishes then?¡± her sister Lucille could pass for an airhead on a regular day, she was sharp, the problem Agathe found was that she only cared about frivolous things. ¡°Dad believes this will lead to war¡±, her sister face was troubled, yet she remained perfectly still, as a Lady should while sitting. She had to give it to Lucille, of her sisters, she had the more lady like posture and manners. ¡°What do you think?¡± Lucille asked her, this made Agathe smile. Lucille was 4 years older than her; they were the younger sisters. Sophie was 10 years older than her, and Margaux was 7. Lucille and she were very different, yet they tended to be together, Lucille dragged her to every meet with other young Ladies and told her the gossips she managed to grasp. Agathe liked to discuss those with Lucille, since the gossips always ended with politics. Lucille was easy going but always counted on Agathe¡¯s opinion on important things, and even though Lucille was older, she valued her counsel, and likewise on the rare cases Lucille offered an opinion Agathe listened. ¡°I also think this will lead to war, at least a conflict like 40 years back, when Margrave Reitzmelt son died¡± her sister eyes went teary for a moment, then she inhaled and once more stood Lady Lucille, they all cared for the Reitzmelt. ¡°You are trying to figure out a way to do something?¡± Her sister¡¯s eyes once more locked on hers. Her sister had their father¡¯s eyes, they looked at her expectantly, exactly like her father did with her, seizing her somehow. This narrative has been purloined without the author''s approval. Report any appearances on Amazon. ¡°I am, but I do not know what we could do, father and the lords are mobilizing the Domain forces, I don¡¯t know what we could do as Ladies¡± She confessed her frustration to her sister. She had no experience nor knowledge about what the best military position could be, her father was also checking on their food supplies, which was her first idea, but could not see any way they could provide something extra; they were Ladies. ¡°Now, do not let mom ever hear you say something like that¡± Her sister gave her a pinch on the hand, ¡°We are Ladies, and there is nothing a Lady can¡¯t do, remember¡±. Agathe looked at her red hand were her sister had pinched it, that was not lady like, yet she was smiling at her as if she had done nothing. ¡°You think of something else, and tell me what you have in mind, do not worry if you are not certain in how to accomplish what you think, leave that to your older sister. You just put that brilliant mind of yours to think on what else needed to be done¡±. Her sister Lucille stood up and hugged her, they both held in it for a second. The hugged had managed to calm Agathe. ¡°I have to get something to eat, don¡¯t you dare stay here until something comes up, go to the garden, or just outside, you need inspiration¡± her sister gifted her, the most radiant smile she had, one that Agathe was sure, was a mix of practice and her sister natural beauty, now Agathe was certain her sister would catch whomever she deemed worthy as her future brother in law. ¡°Thank you Luci, I¡¯ll tell you once, I think of something¡± Agathe replied to her sister, with more confidence than before, after all their mother was the one who always told them, there was nothing a Lady could not do, and Agathe was a Lady as well. Agathe looked at the book on her hands an returned it to a shelf. She left the small library and went straight towards the garden. Her mother had made the garden completely, she was dedicated to it, as well as the family vineyards. The garden was just behind the main entrance, a big wooden structure called pergola dominated the center of it, some spread chairs and small tables where protected in the cool shade the manor provided as well as the pergola covered with grapevines. She remembered when her mother started it and was ¡°simple¡± now it looked grand. Agathe sat on a wooden chair on the garden, the hollow moons month marked the end of spring, a warm breeze rustled her hair, she was squinting her eyes looking at the vineyards, thinking about, well, war. ¡°It is there anything troubling you miss Agathe?¡±, Agathe was spacing out when she heard Mrs. Muller kind and gentle voice ¡°You are usually at the library, at this hour, getting Mr. Schneider all work up about something, or being dragged by miss Lucille, although it is still a bit early for miss Lucille¡± ¡°I don¡¯t bother Mr. Schneider¡± Agathe wanted to protest but Mrs. Muller just raised one eye brow a bit and she had to give in ¡°Not that much, and I don¡¯t spend that much time on the library¡± it was true that she like the place but she spend her time there leisurely. ¡°Oh, really. Where were you before coming here to ponder?¡± Mrs. Muller asked her with a gentle smile on her face. She was almost 50 but had a healthy red color on her cheeks all the time, her blonde hair always kept on a small bun, she had a robust build, which was surely Mr. Muller cooking fault. She had worked here before Agathe was born, and she liked and cared a lot for Mrs. Muller. Mr. Schneider was her father administrator and main assistant along with Sir Kiernan, in the same way, her mother had Mrs. Muller and Mr. Wagner, the wine master as her seconds in command. ¡°I did come from the library¡± Agathe voice was almost a whisper ¡°I am sorry Mrs. Muller; I am just troubled by the morning couriers¡± ¡°Dire and cursed news, war never brings anything good¡± Mrs. Muller face turned serious in a moment ¡°Blessed your family dear, for allowing everyone on my kids to have a good job by working in the state and not needing to join the army¡± Mrs. Muller had 5 children, the 3 oldest work on the vineyard, the 4th worked with Mr. Schneider and little Mary, who helped her mom, and would be a maid for the manor. ¡°Do you have any family in the army Mrs. Muller?¡± She asked curious. ¡°Thankfully no my dear, but my dear husband was orphaned when those rats attacked Margrave Reitzmelt lands¡± Mrs. Muller face turned a bit pale ¡°He was 6 then, his fathers were on the defense of Reitzmelt rise, the Margrave¡¯s son had as many children as they could fit in some wagons leave the place before the attack¡± Agathe face paled as well, she had never known Mr. Muller was a was orphan. ¡°By your grandfather¡¯s grace, he picked some of the kids who managed to reach to the Margrave¡¯s states and brought them here as apprentices, for that alone we would be grateful for your family miss Agathe, but you all are kind to us¡± Mrs. Muller somber face changed once more into her rosy cheeks and smile. ¡°I am very sorry Mrs. Muller; I never knew Mr. Muller had gone through something so awful¡± Agathe said sincerely. ¡°It is in the past my dear, any orphan has it hard, the Vanian military cares a lot for them. They try to get them to a home, an provide them food and shelter, but there so much they can spend there. Your father has allowed Mr. Muller to send the food that is about to go bad on the manor to them.¡± ¡°I did not know that, were does he send the food?¡± Agathe was surprised and intrigued. ¡°Your grandfather built a house for the kids that came from the Reitzmelt lands, it is still used to house orphans, but it is kept by the military and donations from your family¡± Mrs. Muller told her. ¡°Do you know what they need Mrs. Muller?¡± Agathe asked with an idea forming in her mind, ¡°They have little my dear, anything is welcomed, there¡¯s just 4 children there. Lovely kids¡± Mrs. Muller answer her eying Agathe curiously, ¡°You are not referring to the children, here right?¡± ¡°Yes, and no, Mrs. Muller. I was thinking more about the consequences of war, and convincing other Ladies, of what we could do, to aid¡± Agathe replied. Mrs. Muller face lit up immediately. ¡°Come dear, what you need to do, is talk to Mr. Muller¡± Mrs. Muller face was glowing now, and Agathe shared her smile. She could do something now, and more importantly she would get Lucille to have their peers to help.
