《The Flesh and Blood Dungeon》


 Chapter Number One

    There was once a man who was summoned to another world of fantasy and magic. After a while of surviving, gaining skills and even moving up in the adventurers guild, he died. Many years later he was reborn...


    As a dungeon core.


    This is his story. (now I can tag this as a reincarnation, summoned to another world, dungeon core story!)


    BTW he lost a bunch of his memories.


    Over many decades, a forest far to the north of the great city of Argrovad had been growing in its mana density. So much so, that monsters were spawning and breeding there at an alarming pace. Because of this, the area has been devoid of travelers for a long time. Only the bravest of adventurers dare to get anywhere close.


    When the mana density reached a peak, the forest shuddered for miles.


    A large amount of the mana started to get sucked towards the center of the forest. As the mana was getting pulled to the center, it was so thick, that it looked like a giant circle in the shape of a blue wave crashing in on itself.


    When the mana was gathered at a single point, it coalesced into an ocean blue, fist sized crystal.


    All the monsters in the area started to panic Some ran in all directions, some started viciously fighting amongst themselves.


    One curious boar headed to the center of the condensing mana to see what happened.

    The curious boar began to sniff at the unprotected dungeon core.


    "I was reborn as a dungeon core?"

    Before he could answer, the nearby boar got too curious, and gobbled up the dungeon core, it was too hard or its teeth to penetrate, so the boar swallowed it whole.


    Giving into his fate, the un-named, summoned dead guy made a choice.


    "Yes I would like to claim this area as my dungeon"

    He could feel every inch of the boar.


    "I can''t just lie here like a sitting duck."


    "I don''t have the underground protection like other dungeons, so first I gotta deal with protection."

    First he started looking around, his limbs were jerking slightly.


    "I thought I would be able to tell the boar where to go, I did not think I would be the freakin boar!"


    He stood up quickly, and jumped and ran around a bit, to get used to the new body.


    "Looks like I''m a half a meter tall male boar."


    "I wonder what dungeon expand does"

    After an excruciating minute and a half, the pain stopped, and he stood back up.


    Checking out his body, he had grown a lot, now he was a meter tall. (with all four feet on the ground)


    "whoa that was a serious upgrade."

    With his mind, he easily plucked the small patch of grass off of the wall of his large intestine, and worked his way through the winding maze until it came out of his backside, he then replanted it on the top of his back.


    "Whoa that was easier than I thought it would be"

    He started to eat random things that wee lying around.

    Just then, he heard something moving in the bushes some distance away.


    He wearily looked to see what it was.


    "oh hey its a deer!"


    "Hi deer, I''m a boar!"


    The deer looked at him suspiciously, then it hissed and pulled back its lips to show long sharp bloody fangs.


    "Hisssss"


    "Oh what the crap is that!"


    The un-named, summoned dead guy now living as a dungeon core that possessed a boar turned around and started running as fast as it (he?) could.


    Unknowingly in the direction of the nearest human settlement. (even though it''s really far away, but he is really scared and kept on finding scary monsters to run away from until he got kinda close to the human settlement, after stopping for some breaks, and a long run on sentence)

 Chapter Number Too

    THE STORY OF WHEN "BOAR CORE" WAS TRAVELLING TOWARDS THE HUMAN SETTLEMENT AND REACHED AN AREA THAT DIDN''T HAVE CRAZY SCARY MONSTERS AROUND.


    Yes he gave himself a name, although it does not show up on his stat screen.


    "hey dungeon system thing, is there a way to make myself more resistant to damage?"

    And now he can''t move his right leg.


    And now he is regretting covering his right leg with stone.

    The Boar Dungeon then realized he had a super cheat, an advantage over other dungeons, he is able to consume whatever he can fit into his mouth, turning it into mana and useable materials.


    After trying to take off the stone cast from his leg, he realized he did not have enough mana to do so, so he started to eat all the grass dirt and rocks he could find. (it was easy to find them since he is in a forest and the ground is literally made up of dirt rocks and grass.)


    Trying again, he was able to remove the rock covering his leg.


    He then tried changing the skin on his leg to rock, with the same result that he could not move his leg.


    After turning his rock skin back into boar skin (that is one of the materials in his repertoire), he had a different idea. He turned his leg bone into stone.


    And it worked.


    "nice, now lets do this for the rest of my bones"


    He was able to do it easily, since he had enough mana, and he could see every bone in his body with his dungeon core sight thingy.


    He thought about turning his teeth into stone as well, but decided not to for some reason.


    It took a little getting used to the extra weight.


    Oh also his hooves are now stone. and he added stone claw things to his hooves but that made it harder to walk so he took them off.


    "Now I should be a lot more sturdy, and should be able to survive somewhat"


    "Although that deer would just rip through my skin and not bother with the bones..."


    After stuffing his face for a short while he received a notification.

    Just then he heard something moving in one of the trees above him, but by the time he looked up, it was too late.


    A large snake, 8 feet long, five inches in diameter bit onto the back of his neck, and quickly wrapped around his body.


    "Oh CRAAAAAAP"


    "Am I poisoned?"

    He was trying to think of a way out, but nothing came to mind. The snake was strong, but it was having difficulty crushing the boar core, because of the stone bones. Eventually the boars stone ribs started to crack, and snap.


    "SQUEEEEEEEEAL!"


    He screamed as loud as he could, but that just made him lose all his air, and the snake tightened it''s grip on him.


    "Activate skill - Gore!"


    Moving his head from side to side, trying to poke the snake with his tusks was also ineffective, the snake was wrapped around his body and the boar was almost as wide as it was long.


    "I still have a skill point!, maybe it would help to expand the dungeon"

    Boar core was lying on the ground, with the snake wrapped around him, squealing away in pain.


    The rapid shifting in his size was too much for the snakes body to handle, and the body of the snake was ripped open in various places.

    For the next five minutes (till he ran out of boar mana) he practiced activating sprint, charge, and goring trees.


    "OK, now what? Lets eat that snake!" (Yep, totally cool with eating a dead, raw, still in the skin snake, hey it''s better than deer poop. Didn¡¯t really taste that though)


    Now that he was a meter and a half tall, his mouth size also grew, so he was able to bite off big chunks of the snake.

    He looked around but could not see where the snake was. Figuring it failed somehow, maybe from a lack of mana, he looked around or something new to eat.


    "Ooh a berry bush!"


    Everything around him looked smaller now that he was much bigger.

    Boar Core continued to wander aimlessly (towards the human settlement) eating grass, rocks, and dirt.

 Chapter Number Three

    Bore Core continued to walk around, eating whatever he saw.

    Soon he came to a path. It was still deep in the woods. He continued down the path until he saw something in the distance that was coming closer.


    "I better hide, if I think I can handle it, I will try to kill and eat whatever it is"


    He left the path and hid among some trees. After focusing and using up some mana, he coated his skin with bark, and added some patches of grass here and there around his body.


    Staying perfectly still, he waited until two humans came into his view.


    There was a large man with iron and leather armor, with an iron longsword strapped to his back. Next to him was a much smaller girl with leather armor and a bow strung over her shoulder. She was also carrying two dead rabbits on a rope. The rabbits each had a long white horn sticking out of their foreheads.


    (human girl) "Well soon be coming up to the next set of traps"


    (large human male) "How many more are there? You aren¡¯t paying me enough for this guard service to be out here all day"


    (human girl) "This is the last one, then we can bring these horned rabbits back to the cart with the rest of em and get going"


    (-BOAR CORE-) "It''s two humans. I have no qualms to kill and eat them, and I am one and a half meters tall, stone bones and all. I''m going to give this a shot. Worse comes to worse, I will just activate sprint and GTFO."


    "And yes I have a better name title for when I talk just cause" <--- (referring to ''-BOAR CORE-'')


    Hoping for a sneak attack, Boar Core charged out of the forest.


    "Activate Charge"

    Charging towards the side of the large human who was standing next to the human girl, he thought it would be a 1 hit KO, but the large man noticed him early, and maneuvered himself to the other side of the girl.


    *WHAM!


    Bore Core slammed into the girl, knocking her into the large man who had drawn his longsword by now, knocking the wind out of her, possibly breaking many bones, and pushing back the large man.


    The boar walked towards the man, and the man backed up, keeping his distance. Reaching the girl, boar core sniffed at her trying to tell if she was dead.


    While boar core was distracted, The large man used some kind of skill and thrust the longsword straight thru the body of boar core. He continued pushing with his sword, and knocked Bore Core onto the ground.


    "SQUEEEEEEEEEEAL!"


    Bore Core lied there shocked at what happened. Surprisingly the longsword missed all his stone ribs.


    Boar Core stood back up. The large man had a look of wonder on his face, seeing the boar standing with a longsword stuck straight through the boar poking out the other side.


    Boar Core used Charge and this time he was too close for the man to dodge. When he was close enough, The Boar used Gore, and slammed his tusks into the side of the large man.


    He could hear the wind getting knocked out of the man, and when the man hit the ground Boar Core did not give him a chance to recuperate, and started to trample him.

    Reaching the girl Bore Core considered killing her when she was in the dungeon, but decided that getting closer to evolving the boar was cooler. Also he had no idea how to get her inside his body before she was dead and in smaller pieces.


    She started to scream so he stepped on her with a meter and a half stone boned boars weight.

    Seeing as how it would be hard to fit all the equipment in his mouth, and all the effort of removing it from the bodies and biting everything into pieces, he had an idea.


    Using some mana, he took the blueprints of the snakes jaw and edited the boars jaw to be similar.


    "Now I can unhinge my jaw like that snake and fit lots of things inside!"


    He unhinged his jaw and tried to start swallowing the girl, but he had difficulty fitting her down his throat. Spitting her out, he edited his body to be able to stretch like the snakes as well. He had to edit his ribs a bit to make them bendy where they connect to his back.


    He tried again, and it was more successful, however he had to struggle to get her whole body into his mouth, since he did not have any hands.

    He thought about having an entourage of goblins following him around everywhere, but figured he would have more to gain if he sent them off on their own, he would kill over here, and they would kill over there.


    As he was about to send them off on a rampage, another group of goblins wearily walked towards them without their weapons at the ready.

    His goblin minions followed the other group into the forest.

    He took direct control of the horned rabbit to see what it was like. His mind shifted from being seated in the boar and instead he was inside the rabbit.


    He ran around for a while, but got bored pretty quick, so he went back to the boar.


    Deciding to have the rabbit go off on its own for a while, he tried to give it some upgrades.


    The stone bones was out of the question, since the rabbit would lose out on a lot of its mobility, but he gave it processed leather armor skin, and snake like fangs. He would have also given it an iron horn, but he wasn''t sure if that would be better than the horn that it already has.


    Focusing, he ordered the rabbit to hunt for small animals to kill, and let him know if it came upon a bigger creature.


    Speaking of iron upgrades, he decided to enhance his boar body.


    It would cost too much to make all his bones solid iron, so instead he just added an iron coating to the stone bones. He also made his teeth and tusks into iron.


    "I''m starting to look badass!"


    He wandered around the forest looking for things to kill. Soon he came upon an area that had large spider webs scattered throughout the trees. A spider the size of a dog started to follow him from behind.


    He turned around and saw the spider. Using charge, the spider was not fast enough, and it got trampled by the boar.

    While he was looking at his evolution choices, a group of large spiders surrounded him. There were eight dog size spiders, and one was three times the size of a dog.


    The large spider turned its backside towards the boar, and let loose a large amount of spider web. It caught onto the left side of the boar, also sticking to its front left leg.


    The large spider started to pull, and at the same time, the smaller spiders ran towards the boar.


    The large spider must have expected to be able to pull the boar down, maybe even drag it on the ground a bit. Maybe this would have worked for a different boar this size, however, with the stone bones which were covered in iron, the boar didn¡¯t budge.


    When the smaller spiders reached him, he used the skill gore on some, impaling them on his tusks, or crushing them as they were thrown away.

    Some spiders bit him, and some tried to tie him up with their web, crawling on top of him trying to wrap him up.


    The web went around his legs, and he did feel some tension, but after killing a few more by stepping on them or goring them, he ran a bit away from the spiders area, getting away from some spiders, and dragging the large spider until it let go on its own and ran away.


    There was still spider web wrapped around his legs, but it did not infringe on his movement enough for him to care about it.

    He regained consciousness who knows how long later, but something didn''t feel right.

    Focusing his mind to view his body, he was able to get an aerial view of a small area of the forest.


    The ground was covered in a red pink fleshy substance. Bones that resembled rib cages were sticking out of the ground periodically. Pools of blood were scattered around the area. Trees within 10 meters were bare of their leaves and bark, everything had a blood red hue to it.


    He could see three adventurers standing on the fleshy floor, weapons drawn, fighting off a group of dog sized maggots.

    The female adventurer shot an arrow over the tanks head, right into one of the giant maggots.


    (male adventurer #2) - Yeah, the sooner we get out of here the better, this dungeon is freakin'' me out"


    The male adventurer (#2) used taunt to bring in the giant maggots that started to circle around to the archer.


    (female adventurer) - "Watch out for the fire pits"


    Occasionally holes would open up around the fleshy ground spewing fire up into the air.


    (male adventurer #1) - "We took down five and there are only fifteen more. If we can clear the rest we have a chance of finding the core. That will fetch us a fortune, much more than reporting a new dungeon"


    Boar core got nervous after hearing that.

    He could see the goblins location, and knew that the goblins could see his.


    The goblins were actually pretty close.


    Five minutes later, and down to four dog sized maggots, A group of 50 goblins showed up, being led by his five goblin minions.


    Sweating and covered in maggot pus blood, the three adventurers already used up their spare potions trying to finish off the giant maggots. They were not prepared for what happened next.


    The female adventurer noticed them first.


    (female adventurer) - "Guys heads up! Arrows incoming!"


    A volley of arrows rained down, Adventurer #1 fell down dead, riddled with arrows. Adventurer #2 was mostly protected from his iron armor that covered most of his body.

    The goblin minion spoke in that guttural goblin language to another goblin that looked like he was dressed with better gear than the rest.


    The goblin chief came forwards to boar core and started to talk.

    As the goblin chief continued to talk, boar core spoke to the system.

    Taken aback at the request, the goblin chief was short of words. Not wanting to offend the dungeon, he slowly walked to the back of the boar, made a fist, and shoved his hand in.


    (goblin chief) - "Sorry for my reluctance, this gesture is only used among goblins when choosing a mate"


    The goblin chief started to feel a ripping burning pain on his hand.


    Scared, and in pain, the goblin chief tried to pull his hand out, but boar core just clenched his anus real tight.


    The goblin chief started to panic The goblins around also became scared, some started to raise up their weapons.


    The five goblin minions stood in between boar core and the goblin clan, weapons drawn.


    Soon the goblin chief stopped struggling, and easily pulled his hand out.


    After looking at his hand, he triumphantly raised it up, for his whole clan to see.


    Past the slimy chunky boar manure, there were five large claws at the end of each finger. The claws were made out of iron.


    The whole clan began to cheer.


    Soon they all lined up, taking turns ,each goblin happily shoving both hands in at once.


    This day would never be forgotten from the long lived iron claw goblin clan. Images of that day would be carved into each cave they would take lodging in.

    (Goblin chief) - "The orc chief says he has been keeping an eye on you, and he saw the contract you made with the iron claw clan, and he too wishes to form a contract with you.


    Boar core wrote up another contract, and spit it out. The goblin chief took it over to the orc chief.


    Soon the whole group of orcs signed, each in their own way. Some signed with their blood, some spat on the contract and rubbed it around, some used ear wax.


    The contract was passed back to boar core, and he put it in his mouth and absorbed it.

    Taken aback at the request, the orc chief was short of words. Not wanting to offend the dungeon, he slowly walked to the back of the boar.

    The orc chief swallowed his pride, deciding that this was worth it for his clan to have such a powerful ally. He bent over, grabbed the boar by the butt cheeks, and shoved his head inside.


    At first nothing happened, however it seemed like the orc chief was struggling to pull his head out, and then boar core tightened his anus, not letting the orc escape his grasp.


    After a few moments, the orcs body went limp. His head then slipped effortlessly out of the boars anus, and he fell to the floor unconscious.


    After a minute, the orc chief stood up, his face glistening with boar manuer residue.


    Another orc stepped out of the crowd towards the orc chief.


    One of the goblin minions translated the conversation and sent it directly into boar cores mind.

    (orc chief) - "I did only that which was necessary"


    (orc captain) - "You have become weak! It is time I take over the stoneskull clan, so that I can bring glory to our ancestors!"


    The orc captain raised his club. The end of the club had pieces of rusty metal sticking out in all directions.


    The orc chief was still phazed from whatever it was boar core did to him, and his reflexes were not fast enough to dodge the attack of the orc captain.


    The orc captain swung his club, and hit the orc chief right in the head.


    The orc chiefs head got slightly nudged to the side from the impact. The pieces of rusty metal ripped off a chunk of the skin on his forehead.


    Everyone around could see a piece of the orc chiefs skull. It was made out of rough solid stone.


    The orc chief grabbed the orc captain by the shoulders, and headbutted him.


    The orc captains skull caved in. His neck snapped and blood flew out in all directions.


    The orc chief felt his head, felt the stone of his skull, he then raised a fist into the air and shouted.


    "GLORY TO THE STONESKULL CLAN!"


    All the orcs in the group called out in unison.


    "GLORY!, GLORY!"


    The other orcs all lined up, and took turns shoving their heads into the boars anus.

    (Adventurer Mage) - "Oh icy place of ice, bring forth your icyness, shroud mine enemies in icy darkness, chill to the bone all that oppose me, bring forth your icy wrath....."


    A larger adventurer with heavy armor crouched in front of the ice mage, holding his shield up towards the boar.


    Two archers stood by the sides of the chanting mage, bows drawn and pointed towards the boar.


    (Adventurer Mage) - "... let the heavens freeze, and hell be frozen yet, turn asunder in icy glory... ICE SHARD!!!"


    A spike of ice, about the size of a baseball, and going almost as fast as a baseball flew towards boar core, and was a little off, flying past him and hitting a tree behind him. It shattered against the tree, breaking off a little bit of bark as it did so.


    (Adventurer Mage) - "Fuck I missed"


    (Adventurer archer) - "What he hell man, how did you miss? its a friggin giant boar"


    (Adventurer Mage) - "Do not assume you could even try to perceive the difficulties of harnessing the arcane!"


    (Adventurer Fighter) - "Whatever, everyone just use your ranged attacks, before it gets close"


    Two arrows buried themselves in the boar cores hide, and the mage started to cast again.


    (Boar Core) - "Lets get this party started"


    "CHARGE!"


    Boar Core pushed off the ground with his back legs, starting his charge attack, but he did not get far, his front right leg was, for all intents and purposes, less useful than a dildo at a sausage fest.


    His failed charge attack brought him six feet closer to the adventurers, but he was down on the ground.

    (Adventurer fighter) - "I did not get any xp, so I don''t think so."


    Boar Cores body was packed with arrows sticking into it from all angles.


    (Adventurer archer) - "I''m out of arrows"


    (other Adventurer archer) - "Me too."


    (Adventurer archer) - "Go over there and pull them out so we can shoot it some more"


    (other Adventurer archer) - "What?."


    (Adventurer fighter) - "That''s a good idea, anyways it is just sitting there, and our mage can cast some hindering spell so you can escape if it tries to attack you."


    As the mage started his spell, the archer reluctantly listened to the group leader (the fighter) and slowly went towards boar core.


    Having heard enough crap from his team, the mage decided to go all out this time, casting his most powerful spell.


    (Adventurer mage) - "Oh greeny grass, of supple springyness, bring forth your vegetation to tantalize the prairie, greener than green, and harder than hard, vine-like bondage, foresty fright, shackling sycamore, earth mothers might...


    The archer began to pick out the arrows, which were not even stuck in deep, from the boars tough hide.


    And then it happened.


    Boar core farted, and the archer was startled, and fell back onto his ass.


    The other adventurers started to laugh at him.


    (Adventurer fighter) - "hurry up already with those arrows"


    Reaching to the side of the boars head, the archer felt intense heat coming from inside the boar. The archer was pressed close to the boars face now, trying to reach the further arrows.


    "This boar smells like a turd"

    Boar Core looked down at the archer who was pressed up against him.


    The archer could feel the boars gaze, and slowly looked up at him.


    Boar core breathed out intimidatingly through his nostrils, covering the archer in viscous snot.


    (Adventurer archer) - "Oh fuck."


    Boar core leaned over, and bit off the archers head.


    (Adventurer fighter) - "I think its time we #geddafuckoutahere"


    (Adventurer mage) - "... trap my foe in wooden glory...... ENSNARING VINES!"


    No one noticed it, but the ground did kind of shake for a second, and soon, vines erupted from the ground, twisting around the boars legs, after they wrapped around, the vines hardened.


    Boar Core took a step forward, balancing himself on his three legs like a pro.


    The binding vines did not restrain the boars movement in the slightest.


    (Adventurer archer) - "Fucking shitty mage"


    Somewhat used to his three useable legs, boar core made his way towards the rest of the party.


    (Adventurer fighter) - "When he comes close, I will stun him with shield bash, then we make a run for it!"


    When boar core was 10 feet away, he used [sprint] and came right up against the fighter.


    (Adventurer fighter) - "SHIELD BASH"


    The fighter slammed the shield against the boar, but there was no visible affect, no stun, no slowed movement, no damage, nothing at all really.


    Boar core lifted his elongated bending the wrong way leg, and slammed it down on the fighter.


    The fighters helmet crushed in, and the fighter fell to the floor.


    (Boar Core) - "now its my turn to use spells"


    "GORE!"


    Boar core hit the mage with his tusks, ripping at the mages robe. The mages hat flew off, and the mage flew with it into some thorny bushes.


    The remaining archer tried to make a run for it.


    "CHARGE!"


    Boar core slammed into the archers back, propelling into a tree, smashing straight through the tree.


    The mage did not die yet. Now the last living member of the group. His robe was caught on a thorny bush, and his only option was to pull off his robe and leave it behind. As he pulled off his robe, he made sure to take out a mana potion and a health potion from his pocket.


    Trying to make his way forward, he could not, his leg was broken. He frantically tried to open the healing potion with his shaking hands, aware that the Boar was calmly walking closer.


    (adventurer mage thinking quickly to himself) - "That last spell used up all my mana, I put so much power into it, I actually went negative in my mana points. If I don''t replenish it, I will be knocked out for a long time, So I will drink this health potion, start running, and drink the mana potion on my way."


    The mage lifted up the potion to his mouth, but froze. The boar was here.


    (Boar Core) - "What is he holding?"

    Boar Core ate up the other adventurers to restock on mana (the potions work for living things, even his boar body, but cant help add to his cores mana)


    Once he had enough mana, he made his first true original creation, it was a boa snakes body, but the end of the tail ended in a goblins hand.

    After staring for a minute, the whole adventurer party had a silent agreement to leave the area, and never talk about this again.


    When the mage woke up, he was startled to say the least. Boar core activated english talk.


    (Boar Core) - "I want you to take this scroll back to the guild"


    The mage could not handle the situation. After a few tries, boar core gave up on having the mage be useful, and ate him.
