《Alice In Madness》 Prologue: Call Me Malice On the bathroom floor, a dazed and confused Alice wakes up with blood on her hands. Alarmed by the blood she gets up and rushes to the sink and turns on the faucet with no water coming out. Frustrated and frightened she begins moving away from the sink until the reflection of the bathroom mirror grasps her attention. Alice a beautiful, stunning girl with long jet-black hair that reaches just past her shoulders. Her eyes are a stunning and captivating emerald green that will grab anyone''s attention in an instant. Something about her appearance is throwing Alice off. Has she always looked like this? Before she can examine her face any longer something else catches her attention. Alice is wearing the wedding dress of her dreams. So elegant and majestic in fact, this dress is better than the one in her dreams. Being so lost at the sight of her in the dress she forgets about her blood-soaked hands dripping onto the floor. Alice takes a few minutes admiring herself in this extravagant dress. She begins to feel a sensation she has rarely felt in her life, a sensation of happiness. A smile almost forms until something calls out to Alice, something sinister. Leaving the bathroom Alice slowly walks through the hallway that leads into the living room. The hallway walls filled with numerous cracks, holes, and roaches slipping in and out of them. Alice enters the living room to see a familiar sight. Beer cans on the floor, a static tv playing in the background, pictures on the ground with broken frames, and peeling paint on the walls. But it was the trail of blood leading into the kitchen that caught Alice¡¯s attention. Cautiously walking into the kitchen Alice sees a gruesome sight. A man lying motionless on the floor with a pool of blood under him. His face was mauled beyond recognition; his neck slit wide open with multiple stab wounds all over his body. The corpse is still fresh, this couldn''t happen any longer than a couple of hours ago. The knife that ended this man¡¯s life is still lodged in his chest directly piercing his heart. The knife itself has strange symbols and seems to be giving off sounds of whispering calling to Alice however she doesn¡¯t seem to take notice right away. The whispers go deaf in her ears as she is more focused on the body in front of her. Alice stares at the body completely with a blank face for what seems like hours. The kitchen itself looks straight out of a horror movie with broken glass mostly everywhere. Bloody handprints on the kitchen sink and window, and what seems to be a dislodged eyeball near the kitchen counter. All of this carnage and Alice is completely unphased. Alice seems to be once again lost. Maybe she believes she''s in a dream. After all, who or what can cause this? The whispering of the knife can no longer be ignored. It starts to call Alice by her name louder and louder. She turns her head now focused on the knife. Her blank face slowly turns into one of concern and anxiousness as she carefully approaches the knife. Moving her hand closer to the knife the whispers are getting louder. Alice finally gets a grip on the knife and tries to pull it out. The whispers turn into loud voices screaming at Alice. Alice is trying her hardest to get the knife out of the chest but it doesn''t budge. The screams are getting louder and begin to overwhelm Alice. Her look of concern now turns into a look of fear. It seems the screams can not be blocked out. She let go of the knife to cover her ears from the screams however they''re only getting louder. Now terrified Alice shuts her eyes but to no avail, the screams are still there. The sounds of the screams are unknown to Alice and become too much for her. She can''t take anymore and within an instant, her eyes open wide and begin to glow. She lets out a yell and grabs the knife and yanks it out of the corpse. The screams are now gone.Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. Alice now breathing heavily with the knife grasped tightly in her hand begins to calm down, her eyes no longer glowing. She begins staring at the knife and examines the strange markings carved into the blade. The blood that was on the knife gets absorbed into it. Alice then feels a dark, cold presence behind her. Something that she¡¯s never felt before but can somehow recognize and find comfort in. She turns to see a tall shadowy figure with luminescent green eyes. Staring into this figure was staring into a dark abyss. Alice¡¯s heart was racing while staring at the shadow, breathing heavily the more she stared at it. Alice was soon in a trance dropping the knife. For her looking at this figure was like looking into complete nothingness while at the same time everything. Her pupils began dilating nearly taking over her entire eye. But then the shadow spoke in a calm, soothing whispering tone. ¡°Remain calm and stare into my eyes.¡± Alice listened and slowly moved her eyes to match the shadow''s eyes. Her eyes were lost but she managed to reach the shadow¡¯s eyes. Alice¡¯s pupils were soon constricting back to normal size breaking her out of the trance. Even with the bright luminescent eyes of the shadow staring directly into her eyes, Alice remained calm and out of the trance she was in. ¡°Good, you managed to come back. Not that many people can stare into us and break out.¡± The shadow spoke once more in a calm and soothing whispering tone to Alice. Alice completely stunned and speechless stares into the shadow unable to utter a single word. Surely she''s dreaming, this is just all in her head right? ¡°No.¡° The shadow muttered. "This isn''t a dream nor in your head." Alice''s eyes widen again and slowly back up. "How did- what are you?" A frightened Alice asks. The shadow has no distinguishable features aside from its luminescent eyes and whispering tone, however, Alice can feel a smile coming from it. Alice¡¯s heart speeds up a bit but then calms herself finding an odd sense of familiarity from the shadow. She knew the answer the second she felt the shadow¡¯s cold dark presence behind her, however, she had to be sure. She looks down trying to comprehend if any of this is real. The wedding dress she¡¯s wearing, the mutilated man in the kitchen, her blood-soaked hands, the knife that was calling to her, and of course the shadow standing in front of her. She wants to close her eyes and open them to be certain that this is all a strange dream or hallucination but for some peculiar reason, she wants all of this to be real. ¡°So, what do I call you?¡± Alice asks while still looking down at the floor. The shadow moves its head down to look at the knife then at Alice¡¯s bloody hands, and finally behind Alice at the mutilated man. ¡°Call me Malice.¡± Chapter One: Into The Madness Inside the horror scene of a kitchen, Alice stands in front of the shadow-like figure towering over her. Anxious and cautious Alice musters up the ability to speak to the figure that insists she calls it Malice. ¡°Malice?¡± A confused Alice asks. Malice just stares at her not saying a word. Still unsure of what to make from all this Alice turns around towards the corpse in front of her. ¡°What¡¯s going on here?¡± Alice questioned. ¡°Justice. Retribution. A new beginning.¡± Malice answers. Each word spoke with whispering and sinister overtones. Hearing the way Malice speaks gives off an uneasy feeling for Alice. She starts to feel a bit of fear when the shadow spoke. Alice wants to ask more except the fear of what more the shadow may say prevents her. In some strange sense, Alice knows what the shadow is talking about however she can''t quite place what she means exactly. Instead, she stares back at the man trying to recall anything that happened before her waking up. The image of the corpse can scar any sane person and yet Alice is focused on it. "Who is this?" Alice wonders, her eyes still glued on the corpse. Malice stares at Alice in silence from behind when suddenly it speaks. ¡°What a beautiful dress. Whoever gave it to you must care for you deeply." What would normally be a heartwarming compliment now just feels unnerving. Alice takes note of this and looks at the dress once more feeling the happiness she has never gotten in her life. She completely ignores the body in front of her and even shows a small smile. However, it appears blood has gotten on the dress at some point. Her eyes widen with shock and anger as she slams her fists on the kitchen counter inadvertently squishing the severed eyeball that was previously on it. Regardless of this action, it doesn¡¯t faze Alice. Her long jet-black hair covering her face entirely, fists still clenched on the kitchen counter. Soon the kitchen begins to rumble. The rattling of kitchen utensils inside cabinets is heard and cups and dishes begin to fall shattering on impact. It¡¯s not long until the whole house begins to shake. Furniture in the living room begins to rise off the ground and the static-filled television explodes. Even the corpse in the kitchen begins to rise. Malice who is just watching everything go down in silence, not moving once from the spot where it was first spotted is not affected by this phenomenon. The mysterious knife with markings also seems unaffected as it''s still on the ground where Alice first dropped it. Soon Malice focuses on Alice who¡¯s still by the counter with her hair covering her face. ¡°Why¡¡± Alice asks in a soft tone. There¡¯s a bit of shakiness in her voice. The house continues to shake. ¡°Why?¡± Once again asked by Alice now with a bit more fire and anger in her tone. The house begins to shake more violently. Malice continues to stare not speaking a word. Alice¡¯s clenched fists begin to shake in anger. Shortly after, Alice lifts her head and begins to unleash a loud and terrifying screech causing complete mayhem in the house. Almost every window and mirror in the house begins to shatter. Furniture is thrown across the room or out of the windows. Cracks begin to form throughout the house. Lights start flickering on and off and the ceiling fan in the living room crashes onto the floor. The corpse is thrown against a wall with force creating a hole in the process. You can hear the bones in the body breaking as it was flung like a ragdoll. Alice begins to levitate, her head facing the ceiling with her mouth slightly open. Her hair moving away from her face revealing her eyes now glowing like Malice who is still unaffected and watching. While in the air it¡¯s not long until her eyes change back to normal. She then drops to the floor on top of the knife with strange symbols cutting her stomach slightly through the dress with her hair hanging over her. The house looking much worse than its original state is filled with nothing but silence. Malice slowly moves behind Alice standing directly both behind and over her. The dead silent home is soon broken by the sound of weeping. ¡°One thing¡¡± A distressed Alice says with a tear slowly making its way down her cheek and onto the knife below her. ¡°I had one thing that was pure¡one thing out of happiness¡now tainted.¡± Malice looking down at the weeping Alice places its hand on her shoulder. The touch of Malice somehow calms her down as she finds a strange feeling of comfort in the shadow. Although only a shadow, Alice can feel the pressure Malice has on her especially when it speaks again. ¡°Happiness is always taken from us. But there is no reason we can''t take it back.¡± "Please..." Alice begs while wiping her tears. "Help me get my happiness back" Malice moves in front of Alice and shrinks in size to look her in her teary eyes. "It''s why I''m here." "What are you?" Confused Alice questions. Alice feels pressure on her cheek while staring into the eyes of Malice. She begins to calm down. "Go clean yourself up, Alice" Alice grows a bit frustrated as this is not what she asked for. Despite her frustration, she gets up and listens to Malice. The strange comfort Alice finds in the shadow is what makes her listen to Malice. This won''t go by Alice just yet, more questions keep popping up however, it''s just too much to handle at once. For now, she''ll go along with whatever is going on. Maybe this is a very bad dream where she will wake up and go on with her normal life. The thing is though, was Alice''s life normal, to begin with? Even if Alice is in a dream why would she want to wake up? Enough thinking she wipes the tears off her face turns around and walks to the bathroom going through Malice in the process. Malice stands completely still as Alice walks through it. When Alice leaves the kitchen, Malice looks down at the knife noticing both the blood and tear from Alice being absorbed into it. As Alice walks into the bathroom she immediately looks at herself in the mirror which is somehow still intact. She stares directly into her own eyes questioning who she is. Alice knows she''s going through changes. The girl in front of her isn¡¯t the same Alice, yet she doesn¡¯t mind at all. In fact, she loves this new Alice. The sensation flowing through her body when she was levitating felt unreal, a feeling of power and control. Sure she can question it, but what''s the fun in that? Alice wants to keep this dream lasting as long as she can. She looks down at her hands covered in blood and gives an almost sinister smile. Alice knows there''s a reason for her bloody hands, but she doesn''t care. She rinses the blood off her hands and finds a mark at the bottom of her right thumb. The mark appears to be branded onto her. Once again Alice doesn''t seem to care and instead focus her attention on her dream dress which now has drops of blood and a tear in the mid-section.This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience. Alice completely unaware of the cut she has sustained while falling onto the knife decides to take a closer look at it. Without hesitation, she takes off the dress and throws it into the tub filled with water behind her. Now only in her bra and underwear, Alice moves her eyes towards the cut only to be caught off guard by the scars around her body. Burn marks on her upper chest, bruises near her wrists, scars on her forearm, and what seems to be whip lashes on her back. Puzzled at first, Alice didn''t know what to think of these scars. She stares at them trying to recall any type of memory that caused these scars, yet the only thing she can recall would be the emotions she felt while looking at them. The look of disgust, anger, hate, and regret. Not this time. This Alice brushes these scars off as nothing more than a thing of the past. She proceeds to look at the cut on her stomach but to her surprise sees that it has vanished. Looking back at the mirror she sees her scars are gone as well. Alice is bewildered, these scars seem to be with her for years with some looking like it could have been there since she was a kid. All of them are now gone except the mark on her thumb and Alice is left standing there wondering what to do now. Suddenly Alice feels empty as if something was taken from her. This causes Alice pain and even a sudden shift in her energy making her tired. Shortly after she collapses on the floor trembling. On the bathroom floor shaking uncontrollably, Alice tries her hardest to stand but to no avail. Alice¡¯s vision begins to blur, and everything seems to close in on her. Darkness creeps on Alice slowly appearing all around her. She begins to accept this fate of what looks like death until she sees an opened bottle of pills under the bathroom sink. Using all her strength Alice crawls towards the pills. Now in her hand and on the floor, she musters up a bit more strength to sit on the toilet. Only four pills left in the bottle she pours the rest onto her hand. Wild thoughts run rampant through Alice¡¯s mind as she stares at the pills. Emotions of depression and sorrow fill her head. However, one emotion speaks louder than others and that¡¯s the fury she''s hidden. There''s a chance Alice can get the happiness she desperately yearns for and she''s not gonna let it go easily. Alice closes her hand and tosses the pills at the tub and watches the pills sink to the bottom along with the dress. She sits on the toilet alone with nothing but her thoughts. Alice decides not to dwell on this too much and powers on as she leaves the bathroom abandoning the pills and her dream dress at the bottom of the tub. She enters a bedroom and picks out a light blue dress she found in the closet and lays it out on the bed. Seems out of place to have in a bedroom like this. The bedroom is just in bad of shape as the rest of the house. Smells of cigarettes and alcohol fill the room with a barely functioning lamp giving off an uneasy atmosphere. The dress is the only good thing to look at until Alice realize how hideous and out of place it¡¯ll look on her and puts in back. Changing into all black clothes, she now wears a tank top with jeans and sneakers. Walking towards the dresser she finds a familiar-looking necklace with a small pendant in the shape of a symbol unknown to many people. She picks it up and holds it in front of her. This necklace belongs to her, it always had since birth. She never knew who gave her said necklace, but she¡¯s always worn it to keep her safe. Without thought, Alice wraps it around her neck and head towards the door. Before leaving the room, she steps on a picture frame. Alice picks it up and sees a picture of a woman with bright blonde hair and blue eyes with a man with his arm wrapped around her. The man has a similar branding mark on his thumb as well, same spot as Alice. You can clearly see the misery in this woman¡¯s face in this photo in contrast to the man¡¯s face which is filled with joy. She takes the photo out of the frame and flips it around to see words written on the back. ¡°JOHNNY AND ALICE¡¯S WEDDING¡± Her heart skips a beat as she read those words. She knew her appearance changed somehow but she didn''t knew it was this much. Aside from that, the man in the photo is her husband and yet she doesn''t remember him. The look of joy on the man''s face in contrast to the look of misery on Alice''s can tell stories. Alice looks at the mark on her thumb and the mark on the man''s thumb. She slowly begins to remember more of this man until the empty feeling she felt in the bathroom returns, breaking her out of her thoughts. Alice struggles out of the room to rejoin Malice who has still been standing in the same spot. Unbeknownst to Alice, the mysterious knife is now gone. Before Alice has a chance to speak Malice can see the state Alice is in. ¡°You feel weak without me, don¡¯t you?¡± Malice questions Alice. ¡°What?¡± A puzzled Alice asks. ¡°How¡¯d you- ¡° ¡°Because I grow weak without you as well.¡± Malice interrupts. ¡°We¡¯re inseparable Alice. The longer we are apart from one another the weaker we grow. I need you as you need me. This is your life now as this is my current existence. I am bounded to you until you leave this world.¡± ¡°Why are you here Malice?¡± Alice demanded, not caring for the answer she¡¯ll receive. ¡°To protect you. To give you the happiness you desperately begged for your whole life.¡± Malice replies in its usual whispered tone. ¡°But I don''t understand.¡± Alice asks. ¡°Your whole life you struggled with pain, abuse, depression. You were weak, always looking for a way out but even then didn''t have the strength to do it. You finally went past your breaking point and decided to take a stand however, you couldn''t do it alone. Which is where I..or we come in, the evil lurking deep in your heart and mind taking action for you. Well...more or less.¡± Malice answers, however leaving more questions to be asked. ¡°But..what do you mean? I don¡¯t remember-¡° ¡°Of course you don¡¯t.¡± Malice interrupts. ¡°This is the price you pay when you call us. Amnesia and of course...services.. But all that will come when the time is right. Alice is frustrated as every question she asks leads to more questions. The only thing she can do now is just going along this crazy world she has entered. ¡°What happens now?¡± Alice asks Malice. ¡°For now, whatever you desire.¡± Malice replies. ¡°Like I said we are bonded together. Wherever you go I¡¯ll follow behind under your command.¡± Alice thinks about what she was just told and questions Malice once more. ¡°If we¡¯re bounded together why didn¡¯t you help me in the bathroom?¡± Malice points below Alice. ¡°Look.¡± Malice instructs Alice. Alice looks down to notice her shadow is missing. Left speechless she just stares at the ground wondering what happened to it. ¡°You didn¡¯t summon me towards you.¡± Malice explains. ¡°I¡¯m surprised it took you this long to notice. You asked me who I was, I assumed you just figured it out the second you felt me.¡± ¡°I... I just...¡± Alice trying to find the right words to say. ¡°You just feel so familiar¡¡± Malice gets closer to Alice. ¡°I¡¯ve been with you your whole life. Only now you decided to call for me.¡± Malice states. ¡°Close your eyes and picture me back with you. Once you feel safe and secured open them¡± Alice listens to the shadow and closes her eyes. It takes time for her to feel ¡®safe and secured¡¯. It comes to the point where she soon begins to think she¡¯ll never have this feeling. Eyes still closed Alice feels a strange sensation flowing through her. She finally opens her eyes to see Malice is gone. Alice looks behind her but no sight of Malice. She can only see the destruction she has left. Thoughts begin to run rampant through Alice¡¯s head again. Nothing but rage, fury, and even revenge are taking over. She tries to fight this, but the thoughts are too loud. The best thing for Alice is to leave the house and mayhem she has caused for good. Alice begins making her way to the entrance of the house. As she opens the door she pauses and looks at the man in the kitchen one last time and notices the mark on his thumb, her eyes glowing slightly. ¡°Happy Anniversary Johnny.¡± Alice slams the door behind her leaving the soon-to-be crime scene for good with her shadow at her side again. Chapter Two: Welcome To Hell Welcome to Mercy¡¯s Point. The city of no hope. The home of criminals. The place God has abandoned. The Devil¡¯s toy box. Any of these nicknames describing this mad world are accurate in their way. A failing and corrupted industrial city, Mercy¡¯s Point is a lawless place. Sirens are heard every ten minutes wherever you go, and the black smoke from factories are the clouds that float over the city. With every cop, there are twenty civilians. With those civilians, fifteen of them are either murderous psychopaths, thieves, organized criminals, or flat out anarchists. The rests are just innocent victims or people soon to join one of these categories. With these numbers, any cop in their right mind ignore calls, die within their first day, or become criminals themselves. As the number of criminals in the city rise, the number of people becoming cops dwindle each day. Mercenaries are possibly the only people in Mercy¡¯s Point that has respect as they bring ¡®justice¡¯ the city desperately needs. The problem with this is that anyone can claim to be a mercenary, but those of legend is highly regarded in the city. Even so, it¡¯s still rare to find one that cares for the inhabitants of Mercy¡¯s Point and aren¡¯t full of themselves. Or at the very least isn¡¯t corrupted. Aside from that if you pay the right amount, they¡¯ll complete any job any way they see fit. More can be said about this city however, the smell of fire from a burning building across the street engulfs Alice¡¯s nose grabbing her attention. Her eyes are still glowing slightly until screams of agony pierce her ears as she sees the building beginning to crumble. Bystanders are just looking or walking away from the building as the people inside must suffer until the very end. With her eyes no longer glowing she stands there motionless unable to move the slightest muscle. Another familiar sight for Alice all she can do is stand there and hear the screams coming from the building. Alice feels that she can do something to help but something unexplainable prevents her to do so. As if she¡¯s been in a scenario like this already Alice feels paralyzed. In the process, Alice can hear the crying of children in the building which forces Alice to turn around facing her door. She places her hand on the handle eager to go back inside until she stops herself. All Alice can hear is the pounding of her heart. It¡¯s barely been a minute and the harsh reality of her city has gotten in Alice¡¯s head. Alice thinks to herself if she wants to go back inside. She asks if she wants to see the corpse of her husband. It wouldn¡¯t block the screams if she did anyway, they¡¯re only getting louder and scarier. Alice begins to grit her teeth as her hand clenches the handle harder. The distressed Alice closes her eyes and attempts to block out the screams. All she can see is complete darkness and hear her heart hitting her chest. The thoughts she previously had at the house returns almost as loud as the screams coming from the building. The heat she can feel from the fire is now felt in her heart. Alice can see a small familiar light in the distance from the darkness in her mind. The screams are now gone. She slowly releases the handle and begins backing away from her door. Opening her eyes Alice sees the building now destroyed and covered in flames. She turns facing her back to the building and walks away with an emotionless face. Alice doesn¡¯t know where to go or the direction she¡¯s currently heading in. With her hands in her pockets and her hair covering the sides of her face, she just walks. Alice loathes her city as she sees drug deals happening right in the open and people breaking into cars with no hesitation. Homeless people being taunted by thugs and arguments between rival gangs. Only the strong survive in Mercy¡¯s Point which makes Alice wonder how she was able to live here this long. From the corner of her eye, she spots women in suggestive clothing luring men to a nearby alley or motel. Alice slightly drops her head and decides to stop looking at the city God has abandoned. Walking aimlessly Alice begins to ponder on what happened in the house. The feeling she had flowing through her while she was levitating was surreal. She questions if she was the one that caused the house to shake. That power she felt, however, makes her believe none of this is happening. It¡¯s just a hallucination or dream she constantly thinks to herself. Her scars miraculously vanishing and a knife whispering to her. This can convince anyone that this is all in their heads. Nevertheless, one thing is certain, Alice loved the feeling and a part of her wants more. She then moves on to think about Malice. The ominous feeling it let off, the terrifying presence, and the tone of Malice¡¯s voice. Alice felt unsettled whenever Malice spoke. There¡¯s something sinister about Malice that she can feel but Alice didn¡¯t feel like she was in any danger. It¡¯s odd for Alice to consider anything evil about Malice when she feels safe and comfortable when it¡¯s around. When Malice placed its hand on Alice¡¯s shoulder, she felt calm as if she knew Malice was feeling everything she was.Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation. Alice looks down to see her shadow following her. The presence of Malice can be felt, and Alice has a new feeling of security. Many questions are left unanswered regarding Malice and the strange sensation she has felt back home. For now, Alice must go with whatever she feels is right. Most of her life she has listened to people. Whether it did harm to Alice or it benefitted the other person, she listened with no questions. Accustomed to following others she tries her best to figure out her next step. Once more she looks at her shadow. ¡°Bounded for life¡¡± Alice says while smirking. Walking for miles and with the sun beginning to set, Alice spots a man staring down an alley. She walks past him only to stop in her tracks when she hears a plead for help. ¡°Please stop!¡± A distressed woman yells at her attacker. The woman herself is maybe a year younger than Alice. She¡¯s dressed in suggestive clothing and is on the ground suffering from a broken nose. ¡°Poor girl.¡± Mumbled by the man who was staring down the alley. He begins walking away with no intention of helping. Alice looks at the coward with anger and annoyance. This was also a familiar sight for her. Being in the position the girl currently is more times than she could remember. Or chooses to remember at the very least. ¡°Shut the fuck up or this knife is going straight in your throat. You don¡¯t want that do ya?¡± Her attacker says menacingly. He grabs the girl by her neck and pins her against the wall slamming the back of her head in the process. Bald, middle-aged, and covered in tattoos, the man towers over the defenseless girl with a knife to her throat. ¡°Now be a good little whore and do what you¡¯re told.¡± Alice¡¯s mind begins to race again with thoughts of rage and anger. Her heart burning with fire. The banging of her raged infused heart is getting louder and louder. She can¡¯t stare and watch any longer. ¡°Hey!¡± Alice yells from the end of the alley. The man looks and spots Alice still holding the knife near the girl¡¯s throat. ¡°Alice?¡± The attacker asks. ¡°Is that you?¡± Alice just stands there silently. ¡°Oh shit, I almost didn¡¯t recognize you. What the hell you did with your hair? And what happened to your eyes?¡± The attacker questions Alice. Alice continues to stand in silent focusing solely on him. ¡°Did you turn deaf too? I¡¯m talking to you!¡± The attacker¡¯s voice begins to rise. Ironically enough Alice can¡¯t hear him at all. Only the sinister thoughts flowing through Alice¡¯s head are heard. Alice can just see his lips moving while he¡¯s still holding the girl. She spots the tear slowly falling off her cheek. ¡°Let her go.¡± Demanded Alice. She spoke in a soft but firm tone. Alice¡¯s eyes start to glow slightly. ¡°The fuck did you just say to me?¡± Questioned the attacker. He pauses and begins to laugh. ¡°That¡¯s funny. A whore coming to try and save another whore.¡± He continues to laugh. ¡°Get the fuck outta here Alice I don¡¯t know what you¡¯re doing down here, but I¡¯ll see you any other night.¡± While the attacker is distracted the woman knees the man in the groin breaking the grip he had on her. She immediately runs past him and eventually Alice leaving the alley and Alice behind. ¡°THAT FUCKING BITCH!¡± Yelled the attacker as he holds his groin in pain. Alice still stands completely motionless watching the attacker, her hair covering half of her face. ¡°You fucking did this!¡± The attacker shouted at Alice. ¡°You¡¯re gonna take her place you fucking whore!¡± The attacker begins to rush at Alice with the knife in his right hand when suddenly he stops. ¡°Wha- what the fuck is happening?¡± The attacker questioned as he can¡¯t move any muscle in his body. The knife drops to the ground. Alice¡¯s face is now covered completely by her long jet-black hair. Her shadow is no longer by her side as she stands in front of the attacker. ¡°What are you doing to me?¡± The now frightened attacker asks Alice. Soon he begins to rise off the ground. ¡°WAIT WAIT WHAT¡¯S GOING ON?? ALICE PLEASE WHAT ARE YOU DOING?¡± He struggles to try to move any muscle with no success. Still not saying a word Alice stands below him with her hair covering her face. The attacker is then slammed to the ground face-first, breaking his nose along with his teeth. He slowly tries to get back up spitting out some of his teeth. Once again, he rises off the ground. ¡°Alice¡stop this please.¡± Pleaded the attacker He¡¯s slammed on the ground face-first once more leaving a gash on his forehead. On the ground barely moving he¡¯s picked up again only to be thrown back to a metal door creating a dent in it. Alice slowly walks towards him with the knife now in her hand. The man now on the ground sitting against the door coughs up blood. Standing directly in front of the man, he reaches his hand out to her begging for her to stop. ¡°Please¡¡± Begged the attacker. Alice grabs his hand only to stab it with his knife. ¡°AGHHH!!¡± The attacker shrieked. The blade pierced deep through the palm of his hand. His screams of pain fill the alley. Alice crouches down and brings her face closer to his. ¡°Look at me¡¡± Alice demanded. The whimpering and bloodied attacker listens and stares at Alice. He can only see the jet-black hair covering her face but proceeds to look. As he does blood soon falls from his eyes. His jaw drops as his eyes turn completely black. The attacker¡¯s body slides down onto the ground. Alice stands back up removing the hair covering her face. Her eyes are no longer glowing as she stares at the lifeless attacker with blood continuing to fall from his eyes. For the second time today, Alice has taken a life.
