    "Hahahaha you bastards will never get me. I''m out of here have fun on your own you suckers" said Chen Xuan as he jumped off a cliff and commited suicide.

    Chen Xuan was living alone because at the age of fourteen his parents died in a car accident and he was forced to do all kinds of part-time jobs in order to fed for himself. After he studied the book he practiced the skills it contained and thus he was able to defend against low level monters after that he searched for more martial arts books to obtain new skills to help him survive. After achieving great mastery of the skills he learned, he then turned his way into the phillosophy of martial arts in that domain helped him a lot his idol who had surpassed the limits of human body Bruce Lee. After that he continued training and studying martial arts phillosophy and he was able to create his own martial techniques which helped a lot in his survival.     Unfortunately at that time at that world his current strenght was not nearly enouph to save humanity.


    "Now let me start my three months training routine before hell comes and take over the world"


    And so Chen Xuan started with his training.


    At the first day he pushed himself at his limis and beyond to do one hundred push ups, one hundred squats, one hundred sit ups and five kilometers jogging and another five kilometers running at his full speed. He did this for one week to streghten his body enouph to continue with some serious trainning.


    The second week as Chen Xuan rose up from his bed he started doing one thousand push ups, one thousand pull ups, one thousand squats, one thousand sit ups and ten kilometers running at full speed. At first it was hard and passed out a lot of time due to excauste but he never gave up. The first day in the new program it took him seven to eight hours to complete it and his second day in, it took him a lot more to finish and that''s because of the pain that remained in his body after the previous day of trainning. Doing that every day for two weeks his body finaly got used to it and he was even able to finish in less than four hours. So the first month went by just like that.


    As the second month came he continued with this trainning and the rest of his spare time he commited it to meditation. A lot of people would mock meditation but those who have tried it they new that this was a great way to sharpen and relax the mind. Furthermore it is said to be a great way to sharpen the reflexes of a human as well as their concentration. That is why it is a great way of trainning and also that is why many kung fu masters use meditation on their trainning. Two weeks went by like this and there was only one month and one week remaining till apocalypse.


    Chen Xuan spent the rest time before the apocalypse practicing the martial techniques he had created so his body could get used to them he also spent a lot of time practicing breathing techniques which helped him gather qi and increase his inner strenght. Inner strenght could be used to increase his physical abilities to a great degree this would increase his strenght, speed, offencive power and defensive power, moreover it would increase his senses and reflexes as well.

    Inner strenght could be divided into ten stages starting from number ten and finishing to number one. Each stage had nine layers for the practicioner to overcome before break through to the next one. Also as the practicioner broke through a stage his abilities would skyrocket. In order to break through to the next stage the practicioner needs to refine and gather his qi. Each stage of course is ten time harder to break through than the previous one, the same goes for each layer too. In his previous life Chen Xuan only got to the fifth stage sixth layer.


    "Now after so many days of trainning i reached the tenth stage fifth layer with ease maybe it is due to my previous life experiences that it was so easy but it only gets harder from here"


    "Only one day remaining before the apocalypse. With my current level of power i should be able to handle the first monsters that will appear with ease" Chen Xuan said with a smile on his face.

 Hell and Revenge

    "So i finished my trainning and i have one day left before the apocalypse begins and the world becomes a true hell huh?. Now then I should spent the remaining time studying martial arts phillosophy for better or worst."


    Martial arts phillosophy is a great way for someone to be enlightened and advance through the layers or even stages of inner strenght cultivation with much more ease than one normally woud do, moreover it is also a great way for someone to advance in skill level as well or create new skills like Chen Xuan did.


    "In a fight your mind and body must be like water, your attacks must be like a fierce fire, your defence must be like a solid and steardy rock and your movements must be like the wind...always have flow but no rythm..." just like that the last day before the apocalypse has ended.


    "Now then after studying for a night i feel quite good i should say. There are thirty minuites remaining till the apocalypse i should propably get a backpack and store some food in it before i move out."


    " Now then for starters i will go to school to check things out for now. If i remember correctly the apocalypse started with a big earthquake which lasted for at least two minuites. After that the first monsters that appear will be zombies they may be slow but at night they are very active moreover if one gets bitten by them he or she will become a zombie him/herself, if they still have a body after getting caught of course"


    After saying that Chen Xuan headed to his school. As he was one step before the school gate the earthquake suddenly broke up and a while later after ending, the first wave of monsters appeared. They were like humans in different shapes and size with rotten skin covering their rotten bones, they were exactly what someone would call a zombie. They started appearing suddenly in the middle of the roads and after getting hit by a variety of cars that didn''t stop them they got back up like nothing happened and started hunting down humans after they got a hold on them they would start bite their flesh down to their bones in simple words they devoured them to please what it seems their huge hunger.


    The torture for those who got themselves caught didn''t simply stopped there as some of them got affected and turned into these brainless monsters drived by their hunger.


    At that moment Chen Xuan did nothing but simply standing and watching his school to be slowly destroyed by those zombies and some of his schoolmates become just like them.


    The reason why Chen Xuan went to the school but didn''t help anyone was because he wanted to see how his classmates get eaten. He did that as a way of revenge against those who tortured him after his parent''s death. As for the others who didn''t bully him well those didn''t help him either, they turned a blind eye to him so he had no reason to help them as well.


    After Chen Xuan''s parents died a lot people at school started acting differently to him even those he holded as dear friends started to act differently to him and slowly got distant to him or more precise they kicked him out of their group. But Chen Xuan''s torture didn''t stop there the students started to mock him and make fun of him in the worst way possible even his <dear> friends did the same. The abuse he had received wasn''t just some cruel words like " Bastard" or " parentless trash. Son of a fucking whore" and a lot more words, some of the harsher than the last.


    Unfortunatelly the torture for Chen Xuan had only just begun. After a while when they got bored of simply abuse him with words or more precise insults with each one of them to cut shaper than a knife, they started to physically abuse him.


    So it started an incident after incident the next worse than the previous.


    At first it was just some slaps on his face followed by harsh insults.


    " Endure it, endure it" Chen Xuan was screaming desperately inside of him.


    After that they started to add some kicks and punches to the menu. Every time Chen Xuan walked at the school he either would receive a slap or a punch or a kick or even worse.

    A bit later some people started bringing paper spray to throw at him just for their amuse. A while later more people will bring more stuff from baseball bats to knifes just to test them on Chen Xuan.


    " Endure it, endure..."


    " Haaaaaaaaaa i had enough of this shit you fucking bastards " Chen Xuan screamed out his lungs.


    That was the time when Chen Xuan tried to resist and fight them back but to no avail. It onlu resulted in him getting a more beating than usual.


    After that he tried telling the teachers about what happened. He showed them his scars and bruises from all that beating but the teachers turned out to be just as all those around him. In their eyes he was a stinky orphan who barely fed for himself, they looked at then not with pity but with disgust.


    Their eyes was the same as the ones his bullies had they seemed to say "just die already you useless pile of shit and stop bothering us" the only difference was that the bullies said that out loud but on the other hand the teachers kept it silent. A silent hatred coming from their eyes towards Chen Xuan.


    At that moment Chen Xuan chose to leave with a miserable look on his face.


    When the others learned about Chen Xuan telling the teachers what happened, even though they teachers did nothing since they saw him as parentless child fedding for himself who had no power to do anything, they started hitting him so much that he was at the verge of death. A hit with a bat that broke his knee, a hit with a teaser that paralysed him and made him ache in pain and countless kicks and punches on his face stomach testacles and everywhere on his body.


    After that he was sent to hospital almost dead. That didn''t stop there after he recovered a bit he was beaten to death again that had just became a routine for them.


    It was one time when Chen Xuan asked " Why " with a sliver tone in his voice afraid of getting more beaten.


    The answer he got was " huh? What do you mean why? It is obvious you are just a parentless trash by doing this we do a favor to society so you should be thanking us"


    Recalling all those bad memories Chen Xuan said to himself " Why, Why just stand here and watch them get eaten for my revenge? Back then i was weak and suffered. Now that i have strenght i should also get in the fight and extract my revenge myself and not just watching them simply get eaten they should suffer more like i did"


    Thinking that way Chen Xuan jumped over the school gates and started looking for those who bullied him. It wasn''t very hard since almost the whole school had given him a beating to remember.


    After that when he saw a familliar face he broke their legs and dragged them into the school gym where the doors where closed and zombies couldn''t get in.


    Everytime those bullies saw him their facial exprecion was a bit surprised and the words that came out out of their mouth was " Chen Xuan the tra?...aaaaaaaaaaaaa " They couldn''t finish that sentence since Chen Xuan broke their legs with a lawkick fused with inner strenght and made them scream in pain.


    After Chen Xuan dragged someof the bullies in the gym some others tried to escape but to no avail since he always caught them.


    In the middle of this chaos a lot of people couldn''t help but notice Chen Xuan and wonder " how the weak and useless Chen Xuan became suddenly so powerful".


    All those people shocked by Chen Xuan''s strenght all of them had different emotions.The bullies felt fear and regret to have made an enemy out of him especially in this situation when the world started to turn into hell and the others felt releived that they hadn''t messed with him in the past.


    Some people tried to ask Chen Xuan " Why do you do that to your classmates? "


    At that moment Chen Xuan remembering what he had to go through because of them turned around looked at them unable to suppress his killing intent and replied to them " Classmates these trash... hahaha don''t make me laugh. I am just finishing what they started and at the same time i will do a favour to the world making them vanish"


    With his murderous intent unleashed at that moment to those people he looked like a big monster worst than the zombies that suddenly appeared and a lot more scarier on top of that. Those people could not help to wet themselves since what they saw was the killing intent of the devil himself.


    After Chen Xuan finished gathering all those bullies inside the gym he used the gus that the school had for keeping the students warm at winter and poured all of it on top of them.


    After that he used his footwork that he had practiced before the apocalypse to lead some zombies inside the gym without getting himself scatched or bitten by them.


    His current strenght and mastery of the lighning steps( the footwork that he had created and practiced during his three months of training before the apocalypse) was barely enough to lead only thirty zombies inside the gym before getting himself exausted. But that amount was just enough for his revenge.


    When the zombies gone into the gym they started eating all the bullies slowly. Unfortunately that wasn''t the end of their suffering since Chen Xuan lit them on fire throwing a lighter he had on his backpack at the gus he had previously poured on them. Hence he watched them suffer the pain that they had caused him before turning to ashes.


    With that Chen Xuan''s hatred, anger and regret, all those emotions that he holded from his previous life turned all to ashes just along with those who insulted him and his dead parents and made him suffer unimaginable pain not only physically but mentaly as well.


    Extracting his revenge his mind could finally rest of all those bad emotions that held him back at his inner strenght cultivation in his previous life.

 A NEW TOY

    " well after taking my revenge on them i feel much more better than before, like a big rock around one hundred kilos that i carried on me suddenly dissappeared "

    " Since i am done with those trash, i should propably move to one of the mountain villas and enjoy myself for a while, and since i''m at it, i will also practice my martial arts and raise my skill level.     Chen Xuan turned around and saw Wan Fe his senior, one year older than him and also the most beautiful girl in his whole school. She had black to brown hair and was almost as tall as Chen Xuan ( Chen Xuan was just a few cm taller than her) moreover she had a nice chest and her back side wasn''t lacking either, she had also brown eyes matching her hair and on top of it her skin white and without a single mark on it.     " What do you want ? " he asked with a cold tone in his voice.


    " I know why you did all this and i won''t say anything since they treated you way worst than what happened to them."


    " I only want to ask you to take me with you "

    " You are clearly a lot powerful and those bullies which some of them twice maybe thrice your size wasnt even a match for you. You even manipulated the zombies like they were just mere toys for you, but for us these are monsters that could easily kill us at any time. I won''t be able to survive on my own even for a day that is why i want you to take me with you."


    Chen Xuan was amazed at how calm and collective she was at this situation where the world just became hell. Most people started panicking others running at every direction they could find but she managed to remain calm despite being in this kind of hellish stuation. That was a unique skill she had but even so, knowing all that Chen Xuan also knew that she would just be a burden on his shoulders.


    Chen Xuan looked at her again and he realized that he never had seen a woman more beautiful than her not even in his past life where he traveled all around the world and meeting all different kinds of people. Among the girls that he had met in his past life during and before the apocalypse not a single one could match her beauty.


    So Chen Xuan used lightning steps and in the blink of an eye he was right in front of her when just a moment ago the distance between them was around to twenty meters. After getting close to her, he looked her in her eyes grabbed her chin and said " Sure i could take you with me but on one condition"


    " What condition she asked " she asked with a fearless look on her face.


    " To be my toy. Of course whether you accept or not depends on you " Chen Xuan said and then before walking away he put a smile on his face like he won a big prize or something like that.


    Wan Fe didn''t expect Chen Xuan to be so cocky. She thought that he would help her without anything in exchange but things turned out not as she wished for. Even though she didn''t like it she knew that she wouldn''t last a day in this hell that occured all by herself so she had no choice but to accept his condition.     Of course that wasn''t entirely the case Chen Xuan could be considered one of the ungliest people at school in the past. It was only due to his three month trainning and cultivation that his looks changed this much.


    " Wait. I accept your condition so take me with you " Wan Fe said without thinking it to much since she knew her abilities and that she couldn''t survive even a day alone.


    " So before we move out of here do you need something to take with you? "


    " No we should just do what you have planned already " she replied with a little disbelief still refusing that she suddenly became the toy or more precise the slave of someone she barely knew.


    So before heading for the mountain villas they first went to a market that was nearby to collect the necessities that they both needed. they chose to go to their destination using a small alley to avoid to much trouble.


    As they were walking through the alley zombies appeared and were blocking their way in and out of the alley.


    Wan Fe thought that they would die at that moment.


    Chen Xuan also couldn''t do much since most techniques he practised during his trainning were only footwork techniques which were useless at that moment because they needed a more open space in order to be used. The only thing he could do was to use some palm hits in order to push them away but that was not enough.


    At the verge of almost getting caught by the zombies his suddenly unleashed the full power of his killing intent.


    Normally killing intent wouldn''t work on zombies since they are dead and brainless and only drived by their hunger, but at that moment this wasn''t the case.


    Chen Xuan having gone through countless life and death situations in his previous life and having fought with beasts that when to be compared to the whales at the sea or even the dinosaurs that existed before humans in front to those beasts he fought those gigantic animals looked like ants. So in order to survive in his previous life he kept killing and killing and killing and so on.


    All those memories and survival insticts that remained with him after reincarnation where enough to make his killing intent so strong that even brainless zombies without any survival insticts felt worry and terror towards him, that started turning away and leaving.


    The zombies had left but after Wan Fe experienced Chen Xuan''s killing intent, she were so deep in shock that she had literaly pissed herself and even couldn''t walk the only thing she did was tremble with a scared look on her face.


    Chen Xuan felt sorry for her and carried her till they reached the market.


    When they reached the market, it was deserted and there were no zombies to Chen Xuan''s surprise so he lied Wan Fe down and threw at her cold water countless times till she finaly woke up from the shock she had experienced.


    " Wha... what happened? Where am I..i? " Wan Fe said after waking up.


    " We currently are at the market a few blocks from school. On our way here we met some zombies and after experiencing my killing intent you were put in a deep shock."


    " I felt sorry for you and carried you here. After that i kept throwing cold water at you till you finally woke up. "


    " Sighed. I see I''m sorry "


    " Don''t worry it was my fault this time. Now then grab what you need and get ready to move out again. "


    After both getting the supplies they needed they finally headed towards the mountain villas. On their way they met a good amount of zombies trying to eat them but Chen Xuan defeated them immediately by crashing their heads with a metal bat that he picked up from the market.


    After finally reaching the mountain villas by two hours walking they chose the nearest one to move in hence the night was almost there and the zombies would become much more active and stronger during the night.


    After moving into the villa Chen Xuan checked for any zombies but there were none.


    When they put their stuff down both of them took a long bath and headed towards the bedrooms.


    " Why do you follow me " Wan Fe said with a pissed off tone in her voice.


    " Ooh. Don''t you remember what you agried on? " Chen Xuan said while grabbing her hand and pushed her against the wall.


    After that he started kissing her and went into the bedroom. Wan Fe didn''t resist or looked displeased at all since she had to uphold her own end of the deal.


    After they went inside the bedroom they spent two nights and one day making love continuesly.


    After that Chen Xuan spent four days trainning his footwork and some palm techniques, while leaving Wan Fe making the food and taking care of the house they were staying at temporarily. Of course after Chen Xuan finishing his trainning he would always help Wan Fe sleep at night.


    They had spent almost a week together. During that time both of them came closer.


    One week had past till the apocalypse and Chen Xuan knew that one more week was remaining till the next wave of monsters which they would be a lot scarier and dangerous than the brainless zombies.

 Heading to the Martial Village

    " So one week till the next wave of monsters arrive. During that time i should propably practice for four days inner strenght cultivation and for two days the martial arts i created in my past life. "


    " After that, there will be only one day till the next wave at that time i should take Wan and move out of the city heading towards the east where more skillfull people resign " Chen Xuan said and so he did.


    He practiced inner strenght for four days and thus he was able to advance a layer. Now he was on the tenth stage and sixth layer of inner strenght. He may only had advanced a layer but his strenght was significantly improved.


    After that he practiced the martial arts he had created. The first day he practiced light steps a (footwork technique similar to lightning steps ) which made the user''s steps lighter than a feather allowing him to increase his speed and agility tremendously. It had similar effects with lightning steps but it was the exact opposite. While lightning steps used weight to increase speed with explosiveness, light steps used weightless to increase speed and agility.


    The second day he had practiced the unmoving style. A form from his martial arts which allowed the practicioner to defend himself without moving just as the name implies. It wasn''t much but it was very practical and effective, especially if he ever was in limited spaces and his life was in danger like back at the alley when zombies had surrounded him.     Now Chen Xuan was perfectly fine to face against the monsters that would appear in the second wave.


    With only one day to leave the city at their disposal  Chen Xuan got all the neccesities that he and Wan Fe needed and left the villa.


    " Wait! Why leave so sudden we were just fine right now. What have gotten onto you so suddenly. You locked yourself for four days in a room without eating anything then you started practicing some weird moves like you were dancing and now you want to leave all of a sudden? At least give me a reason. " Wan Fe said with a worrying look on her face.


    " Sigh. Tommorow the next wave of monsters will appear and together with the zombies they will destroy the whole city. "


    " So where are we heading now? and moreover how on earth do you know all that? " Wan Fe asked since she couldn''t help but feel wonder and confuse on how Chen Xuan had so much knowledge.


    " We are heading east on a martial arts village where people like me live. And to why i know all of this you shouldn''t be concerned. After all you are just a toy. " Chen Xuan replied.


    While at the same time Wan Fe''s mood sadden cause the repied she received.


    After all she had spent so much time with Chen Xuan and after all the nights they spent together they realy came closer. But Chen Xuan''s oppinion of her being just his toy didn''t changed.


    " If i remember correctly that martial arts village came together right after the apocalypse and they only accepted people with extraordinary skills to join them. By only having warriors on their side and no ordinary people it was much easier for them to fight against the monsters without worrying about protecting ordinary people or for each other since all the people there were highly skilled experts. It would be the best place for us to go right now. "


    " Well the only thing that bothers me is that we have to spent a night on the open. By the time the sun sets we would already have travelled half the way to our destination so i guess there really isn''t any other choice? Well i just have to suck it up and accept it. "  Chen Xuan thought inwardly.

    Having no choice but to set camp they looked for the perfect spot. After finding it they sent up a tent and both went to sleep. The spot they sent their tent was between two huge rocks that were covering their sides from danger just like a naturall fort.


    Chen Xuan might fallen asleep but he let his senses open, so in case of any potentional danger he would immediately wake up.


    When the moon reached the center of the sky it ment that it already was midnight and the beggining of a new day.


    At that moment a big earthquake broke out calling forth the second wave of monsters.


    Chen Xuan woke up. Wan Fe woke up too and seeing Chen Xuan with a worried expression on his face she couldn''t help but feeling scared.


    Chen Xuan right after the earthquake he sensed different kind of presences and knew what was coming.


    Wan Fe walking towards Chen Xuan scared. Chen Xuan suddenly yelled " Don''t move! Stay Back! "


    The presences Chen Xuan felt were the monsters that came with the second earthquake and they were coming closer and closer.


    Chen Xuan knew that kind of monsters and with his current skills he was barely enough to take them on.


    Those monsters were small in size around fifty centimeters and their ears were sharp and pointed like that of elves in tales, their skin colour was green. their eyes red and their teeth sharp like a shark''s. Those monsters were called toxics because their teeth was filled with venom moreover their agility was high and the worst is that they were always moved on groups with flawless teamwork.


    As the toxics were getting closer and closer Chen Xuan couldn''t help but shake in fear. He could easily take down ten to twenty of them but their number was around fifty to sixty which put him at a great disadvantage on top of that he also had to look out for Wan Fe.


    The toxics were hiding behind the trees waiting for the right moment to attack.


    When one of them suddenly came out and jumped towards Chen Xuan with it''s mouth open like it was ready to devoure a big candy, it was instantly slashed in two with Chen Xuan''s chop strike. Green blood had painted now Chen Xuan''s hands.


    Chen Xuan after seeing so many of them he couldn''t help but scream " Come at me you fucking bastards. I will saw you what happens when your target is god! "


    At that moment all the toxics jumped one after another to attack Chen Xuan. Some of them died instantly painting Chen Xuan green with their blood, but on the other hand some of them managed to bite Chen Xuan poisoning him and tearing his flesh apart at same time.


    Back and forth they were moving with Chen Xuan using light steps and linghning steps in order to catch up with their agility and kill them but it was to no avail the poison had already affect him and started to slow him down while he was screaming from the pain.


    The battle continued like this with Chen Xuan having eliminated most of them with only twenty of them having remained.


    It may seemed like the battle was getting to an end but only with Chen Xuan on the losing side.


    Chen Xuan had several bites all over him with most of his skin missing and only his blood and flesh could be mostly seen. His whole body was seriously injured and the poison had gone deep into his body, making him barely able to stand.
