 Chapter 1

    My name lux,16 years,First year of highschool. I am just a student that you could be found anywhere. It just my situation that was different.


    "Look,It was lux."


    "Ha,The Trash that ranked last."


    "Hey,Trash Look over here!!!"


    The last guy throw me a stone and hit my head,The wound on my head immediately opened,a blood begin to drip from my bandage,as I walked toward my classroom ,there more os so people who throwing thing. But I Ignore them and go back to my own classroom. It was after school,there was not many people ,but everyone kept distance around 10 meter from him. On my desk ,there was written words like ''Trash'' and such. The people immediately laughing toward me,but I ignored them and there was teacher coming over.


    "Wash it clean before class start tomorrow. Also don''t forget to clean the floor of first floor and clean all on the board on hallway."


    "Yes,sir."


    I replied .It''s the usuar order,and it''s pretty much everyday daily chore. There is nothing I can''t do,Except accept it. Without power I couldn''t do anything. I must bear with it, I then kept cleaning and it was already late of midnight when I finished cleaning. I go toward the cottage where I staying off,It was broken cottage and it''s enough. As long there is roof it should be plenty..As I entered the cottage,I noticed that there was so much trash was put inside,then there was my uniform tattered on top of it.There is no choice except fix it before going to class tomorrow. So I go out the cottage and prepared to scavenge some garbage to fix my uniform ,but then there is something fallen on my head and cover my sight.I push it away and noticed it was a male uniform for my size.

    Lux the Traitor that''s my full name.The name that coveniently changed by the goverment for betraying the nation.How long since I was called one ?I couldn''t not remember. Thought what did she want from me?I look toward the girl that folded her arm while wearing a black jersey and have ponytail as hair style. She obviously just come back from workout and running,but I never noticed her at all until she throw me the uniform. She obviously trained her body very well .


    "Hey,are you listening?"


    "I am.What do you want to talk about?"

    As I walked past her ,she grabbed my shoulder so tightly that make it hurt a little.

    Iris eyes was teary,but I didn''t care. Maybe I could get sever punishment tomorrow,But I didn''t care. The pain I go throught right now and the message rob my ability to think,It''s obviously I just vent on her.

I use this as chance and kick the knife from second female student. The third female student noticed it was bad and then decided to deal with me first.I attack her waist and made her drop the third knife. Then I pull out the knife stuck on my and throw it to the nearby bush. Soon a female student with her hand raised up stand up...

    I have no time to listen to some random crazy student,I put some killing intent on it. They immediately run away ,I then picked up the 3 knife and the gasoline they left. They intended to kill Iris and blame it on me huh?I should silenced them when I could. For now I would just sold this gasoline and fix my own uniform with the money. But then suddenly Iris voiced from my back.


    "Why,why you helped me again?Didn''t you have grudge againts me for what I did in the past?"


    "Revenge huh?I did thought that for a week,but I just simply don''t have time for doing that."


    For the first week,I indeed think of revenge. But I realized it just a waste of energy,and It takes everything to survive.Beside if I am type person type that hold the grudge ,then maybe everyone would be included in a list,and I didn''t have time for that. Thought,if it was my family it was different matter. I will kill them one day if it is possible.

    I lifted my head and notice we were in small cave. Where is this?I never seen this before. Just what happened?As I wondering what is happened.I then look toward Iris and asked her.

    "I didn''t know either. When I woke up,we already in this place. Not just us,there is others too, They already moved to next area."


    "Area?What are you talking about?"


    "Let me explain."


    As I turn around to the source of voice,I saw a woman wear white robe with bird wing on her back,an angel. Yes an angel,that said to be manservant of the god.I didn''t know why there was angel or why she was here. But I know I shouldn''t trust her ,since her smile containt contemp and disgust toward us.Let''s listen what to her so called explanation.


    After listened her explanation and she was gone. I was shocked that anyone believed in this sketchy angel. So to sum it up.We were heroes and was call over here to train to fight over the apocalypse day which started every sunday,but god took pity of us and made every saturday as hero''s training day . For Apocalypse day,we would faced with a monster raid that gradually get stronger and end at week 157,which is totalled to 3 years.For training day the time was aroundly the same and last 24 hours.In this training day,we were teleported to training place that decided by the god. Everytime we were dying in this called training day, we would send back to our original home with no penalty,also we were given 10 gold which increased every week up to 20 times. We could also earn it by clearing the training place where we sent to and given reward based our peformance. The gold given to us could be used to buy weapons ,armor and many things from vending machine located at rest area like this area where I am staying on.

    After explaining everything the angel go away.I then asked Iris questions.


    "How long I had been passed out?"

Maybe this was supposed to be the real information. I immediately spend 10 gold and buy it. As I put the 10 coin and press the button for the book. The book immediately appeared in my hand,I then opened it and immediately read it.


    After 30 minutes. I notice it was the same as angel said ,except there is 10 info that was hidden from us.


    1st info ,First day of training day is very much easier than the training of next week and the one who clear it would granted special awakening ,while the one who failed must awakened their power by themselves.

    Hear that I look over to the stair of the next area and saw people going down in hurry,but behind them there was something chasing them.A bear.

 Chapter 2

    The bear chasing them have brown fur and they were running toward me,just before they crash againts me ,they suddenly jump to the side and I saw the bear was kept running. I take out the knife that I looting just before and throw one of them toward the bears eye. The bears immediately halted because of pain,at the same I move toward him,pulled back the knife and stab his other eye then jumped back.The bear then attack randomly ,I throw the knife again but toward his neck this time. It penetrates his neck but stop in the middle and the bear still moving his claw at random because He didn''t understand what is happening. I then want to move over and push the knife deeper,but Iris was already move toward the bear while dodging all it''s claw and then sever the bear''s head from it''s body.The bear than fallen to the floor with it''s head rolling on the floor,the bear body fallen on the floor.Then Iris smiled toward me.


    "Was that good enough?"


    "You were an Idiot."


    There was no need of reason for her to show off by cutting the bear head.She should just proceed from behind andd stab throught the bear hearts. There is no reason for her to going upfront and cut the bear head. If she stab the bear''s head,it''s fine but sever his head?That''s just a waste of energy and Risky. Sense something wrong..Iris cowered a bit. But before reprimanding her,I I need to deal with those people first. As I come over the guy with lightest wound immediately come over.


    "Please help me!!I would pay you!! I would pay you how much you want please buy me a potion!!!"


    My eyes sweep across themand found there was 2 male student and 1 female student. Theother guy who didn''t ask for helphave big wound and it''s must come from the bear claw,It''s already good enough for him to hold the pain yet he able to carry the girl on his back.He is good person .While thegirlhave bandage around her stomach,it was red. The other male student on other hand only have some light wound in fact you could say he was perfectly fine.But his attitude by far was the worst...since he kept groaning in pain and made it like big deal.But I turn around and then drag the bear body and hold the bear on my right head toward the vending machine.. But then the guy that carried girl came over.


    "Please help her,I would give you all I had..But please help her."


    He said that while begging me.But iris interject on him


    "Did you know what you did unforgivable?You intend to kill lux by using the bear and then using his money to buy potion and now you were asking for help?"


    "No,It wasn''t my fault. I was just dragged by them. It was him who planned everything!!!"


    The guy then begin to told everything how it was the other guy''s fault that his girlfriend get hurt.How it was the other guy''s plan and etc. I was too lazy to listen to this kind of shit,and continued doing my own business. Iris who listen to this only close her eyes and sighed,but then she look toward me and put confused face...


    "Where is the bear corpse?"


    I ignored her ,since It''s better for less people to knew about it. Then I noticed some gold coins around the coin chute,and there was a 12 of them. It was a lot,then I use 6 of them and soon the vending machine dispense 3 small plastic bottle. I then throw one of them toward the most annoying guy.The guy immediately started to drink it.     Then I throw another 2 bottle toward the one that need the most,but unlike the first guy.But unlike the first guy,I seen their wounds closing and the color returned to girl face.Seen that,the guy who carried her immediately bow to me..

    I didn''t replied instead ,I observed the guy that annoyed me and see his face gradually lost color and vomitting on the ground. His body also become paralyzed and he was begin to foaming.This symptom ,it was similar to puffer fish poison...Well It''s usable for sure,including the potion of intermediate grade.     I arrived at thick forest,and this forest was based on forest behind our mountain.There was 2 bear or so,but it wasn''t that dangerous. Because It was not something that I couldn''t kill. I Thought that as I kill another bear. The blood would attract bear,but it was necessary.We need as many gold as we could,If I am not wrong..This forest was only beginning...


    "That makes total 5,This should be enough right ?"


    "It''s enough,cut over the bear head like I supposed to told you."

    Iris gone quiet,since I reprimand her about her idiotic movement,but pretty much didn''t care. That''s why I didn''t reprimand her for long. But after seeing me killing the bear,her movement also change. She now pretty much killed the bear without hesitation.

    "There was no need for me to answer that..Let''s go back."


    "Tell me. Please tell me lux,It worried me."


    "??I didn''t tell you,because you already knew the answer.Now Let''s go back. We need to save time best as possible."

    Iris then closed her eyes and then followed after me.This should net me 50 gold,which was barely enough for Food and water.The one who made the vending machine sure knows the market price. It was expensive,but there was no other choice..for now we need to go back and buy food then continur to explore the floor.


    On our way back,Iris asked me question.


    "When was the last time you slept?"


    "5 days ago,what is the matter?"

    After that we returned to rest area and found there was some people returned ,but most of them were injured and shivering in fear. Some of them even entered meaningless conflict,but I coldly passed them.Iris ,on otherhand looks distressed and bit her lips.But she said nothing...We then arrived at vending machine and I put the bears head throught the trash bin and soon 50 gold coin appeared at coin chute,I then use 20 gold to buy lunchbox and bottle of water ,then spend 10 gold for potion bottle and such.I then hand over remaining 20 gold toward Iris and said.


    "Use it whatever you like."


    "..Yes!"


    Iris smile bloomed and then run over and begin to buy everything she wanted. Most of them consisted recovery potion but there was weapon as well.I say nothing and proceed to the corner and then further read the book. To be honest I was surprised of the information contained in the book,I never realized why it was so cheap. Still what surprised me the most the vending machine part and rest area.


    First ,As I had done. By putting in enemy dead body throught trashbin beside vending machine you would earned some gold depending the part value.In this book thought explain that the most valued part was head and the rest were so cheap that you could ignore it. But there was limit for same head and when that limit reached,the price would go down. The limit was 10 for a person.That means I only have 4 heads left that could be claimed at full price.


    Second ,Rest area. Once rest area entered by the enemy that designed then the rest area would lost it safe function permanently,recovery function was weakened by 50% for 4 hours and if the vending machine was broke then the Rest area would lost all of its function permanently.There was more info about it,but for now the only thing that could be seen directly was this two...If only I have phone with me right now.As I wondered about it Iris came back with smile on her face.As long she was fine with it ,I guess it was fine. Morale was important after all.


    "Sorry,It took so long."

    I said that as I open my phone and there was 40 message. What the?Then I noticed it was grace who sends me the message.I then look toward her ,but she pretended she saw nothing and keep messaging me through the phone.Then grace told me to install certain communication app.I do as she said while Viria closed her eyes and move to near grace.She then pull grace cheek.

    Since they are having fun let''s ignore them,I then try to understand my own phone little better. Since it''s relatively new for me to using one. I just let her be,but then a call from Iris or my sister...but before I can''t answer it,grace answer it in my stead then tossed it back to me.
