Oh, come to think of it I completely forgot to tell who I am. My name is Red was born in the Dracrys Kingdom. My name is derived from the Guardian of our bloodline, the Red Dragon Emperor who during a major monster crisis over 700 year''s ago saved the City governed by family where he had fallen it love with my great ancestor Aoi, who was the greatest Water Mage of all time which made it very ironic. Oh just in case you didn''t know, I currently am a D-class adventurer there are 8 ranks for adventurers from A to G, and Special class as S. Currently there are only 5 S-class Adventurers all of whom are strong being''s who have unlocked their 8th Circle and are classified as Master''s. According to the history of our nation, after the Golden age which was a 5000 years ago after which human beings as creatures almost got exterminated by Silver metallic creatures who only sought the destruction of everything. They were somehow driven out by the combined efforts of multiple 9th circle expert, who died while casting a seal on this planet and since then there haven''t been a single human 9th circle Master till date. Circle''s are the concentrations of Mana and after you have gathered enough Mana and purified it to an extent you can create a Circle, we as human''s have weak bodies so we need to temper our bodies more than other races in order to concentrate more Mana to create stronger circle''s. Once you have created these Circle''s you can''t alter it any longer potentially harming you future potential. Which create''s a vicious circle, human''s take so long in gathering enough Mana to create another Circle that they don''t waste time in concentrating it but just enough to acquire it which increases their potential lifetimes. Normal lifetime is 50-60 years but after the 4th circle their potential lifetime will increase to 80, 5th circle- 100, 6th circle- 150, 7th circle- 200, 8th circle- 300. [''DING DONG''] I immediately straighten up with caution as the warning bell from my Information Magic rang, I opened my [Information Magic- World Map] with haste and see 6 Red dot and 1 Blue dot, around 500m away from me. The size of the dots correspond the danger/strength level of the opponent relative to me, and the blue dot(/s vitality) was rapidly getting smaller. I thought that it look''s like I need to take a detour, as I accelerated towards the location displayed on my Map. Abberon I cover the distance of 500m in about 30s and look straight at a beat up figure who is barely breathing, and in front of it 6 orcs standing on top of it just on the verge of attacking that hooded being. The entire area around them was scorched and there were also some orc corpses lying around there were badly charred. Orcs are normally C-class creatures but in groups of larger than 5 they become B-class, I then take out my sword from my [Storage Magic-Inventory] and cast gravity on those 6 orcs restraining them as I cut off their heads. Although I would normally try yo use different spells to test it out, I need to check the condition of that poor hooded person. The meat from orcs are rather delicious so it''s generally sold for quite a lot with 1200 A each if the corpse is killed properly and the meat can be harvested. That''s why I didn''t use strong offensive magic either and just restrained and killed it. I put those orcs in my [Inventory], and looked down at the beatdown figure. I open the hood covering that figure, and what I see underneath was an unblemished face which has received some scratches and her long shiny black hair tied up in an easy boho braid which is slightly unkempt and some of her hair are charred probably due to the struggle she faced against the orc''s and her body had a few deep wounds in those exposed areas, but when I quickly check up on her physical condition, and see that it is a lot better that what I expected based on her life sign''s earlier. Oh well it''s good for her but just in case, I cast a [Recovery Magic-Large] and [Dark Magic-Sleep] to let the body utilise all of it''s resources in healing instead of maintaining consciousness. I seem to have forgotten to mention this earlier but due to certain circumstances, I have s special ability which lets me possess and use magic of all attributes. Also my skill lets me acquire any magic I see but there are a few caveats related to it. The first is that I can only use it to the level I see the original user use it, so even if someone can use a lvl5 spell but they only display their proficiency up to lvl3 then I can only use that magic to lvl3Which bring''s to the second caveat even if I can use that magic, I would not be as efficient at it as the original user is, so I need to practice those a lot of times to use them as efficiently or even better than the original user. We first go to the Alchemist Guild in order to purchase some potions we might need for the trip, I have recovery magic but there is no need to be careless and as I have enough money, it is always better to buy some spare. I buy 20 of the large Health recovery potions and 10 of the small ones, 30 Mana Recovery Potions-Large because we both use Mana intensive magic, we also buy 50 vials to keep holy water in as a countermeasure for the undead for Abberon who can''t use light magic.Love what you''re reading? We then head to the Arms and Armour shop and buy a Scarlet Blood Tiger Armour for Abberon which provides an excellent defence as well served as an amplifier for magic that you can use. I also find something good, a lightweight adamantine armour which provides a good enough protection because it can absorb a lot of Mana, is nearly indestructible and provides good movement. For a weapon, Abberon chose a Berserker halberd which is enchanted with some excellent boost''s, and I choose a 1.5m sword made out of Adamantine although I usually just use a sword made with magic but I choose to splurge a little as well and not skimp on protection. After buying the necessary equipment we then head to a fashion shop in order to buy a bag for Abberon and me as a countermeasure to if I am not able to use my Space-Time Magic, she chose a Rainbow lizard bag while I got a plain looking one. We then go to another section in the store in order to buy new clothes for Abberon who didn''t bring any clothes and is in desperate need for new ones looking at her rocking the adventure look I also decide to buy some replacements for me. I also bought a necklace to put an enchantment that increases the output of all magic by 25% on it and give it to Abberon. After buying those and exiting the store I enchant those with Space-Time Magic, and Special Magic[Protection] to produce a magic bag and put enough food, water, potions, money for us to last at least half a month. Now all we need to do is to go to the Adventurers guild to register Abberon before we can head to the dungeon''s and after getting the guild card for her, I thank Sylvia, inform her about our plans to go and capture all the dungeons and leave the guild. It is finally time for us to head out and enter the dungeon. I then open a gate to the city where the basic dungeon is located. Clearing The Basic Dungeon We show our cards and register with the guard in order to enter the basic dungeon, it is necessary to register yourself before you enter a dungeon so that there are records of your whereabouts in case you are missing. The guild cards serve as a proof of identity as well as subjugation as, as long as it exists in this plane of existence it will record the monster''s killed by its owner and are almost impossible to forge. They also have excellent anti-counterfeiting mechanisms and measures to figure out if the person holding the card is the actual owner or not . This saves them from annoyances of having to produce proof of killing any monsters by presenting their carcasses, although I can just carry them in my storage. Certain monster carcasses if presented to the guild are sold for extra money unless you are doing a quest, then it would be stated as to who owns the carcass for the number of monster''s you are paid to subjugate and if the carcass is requested then that amount would be added to the reward. The basic dungeon we have entered is exactly as its name suggests, it is the easiest dungeon and used as training for absolute beginner''s and that''s the reason why we have come here even with our strengths because we lack experience in fighting varied opponents without the use of our overwhelming stats and also to set up a baseline of our capabilities. So, we decide to clear the dungeon multiple times and reduce our power output till we are able to clear it completely without the use of any magic and just using technique while similarly reduce the use of physical force and clear it with just magic. We also decided to try it both as solo and as a party to increase our own experience in fighting a particular type of monster and also to raise cooperativeness with each other. Thus we began our journey to clear the dungeon, there are 15 floors in this dungeon and there are a total of 3 types of monsters with the 1-5th floor being full of slimes, 6-10 floor are teeming with goblins and the 11-15 are kobolds. First we decide to use our full strengths individually to establish a baseline for our abilities, the first time we will be using everything at our disposal our full strengths and equipments. Slimes are creatures who are partially resistant to physical attacks but very easy to defeat if you know where to hit them although I can just defeat them without hitting its weak point I decide to test myself that way and initially I use long distance magic and sword cuts and although it is terribly easy to do that killing all of them which amount to not less than 100 on each floor that is very time consuming so I decided to do something about it and use my Creation Magic [Creation Magic- Combination] In order to create magical homing arrows of all attributes and release continuous barrages leaving nothing behind where all of the slimes previously were sitting except some of the slimes dropped a few equipments such as rusty knives and a few shields, but their class was too low to be even be used by us, so we decide to sell them to the guild. Because this is the beginner''s dungeon it is extremely easy for us as we complete the first five floors, with just one monster left to defeat the boss of the slimes, a large slime which has a hidden core and is generally a little difficult for a beginner to take down except by using an AOE(Area Of Effect) magic or having a party of 4-5 beginners. I just use homing magic barrage until nothing was left, the way I am moving is like a moving fortress. The next 5 floor are occupied by goblin''s who have basically no value and I just kill them using my barrage and keep heading to the next floor as we keep going ahead and reach to the 10th floor where I meet a goblin mage, it appears that there are alternating floor master''s for goblin''s where sometimes it is goblin archer or goblin warrior or a goblin mage and killed it by cutting its head off its neck. We then reach the 11th floor where I continue to barrage those kobolds until I reach the top floor. There we see a Kobold knight which was surprisingly weak so I just cut off its neck as well. The entire time it took me to complete the dungeon by myself was less than 45 minutes, whereas beginners with parties need around a day and a half to complete it, now I need to develop my strength in all ways without using the homing barrage and reduce the time to complete this dungeon in less than 15 minutes while also working on developing new techniques. After killing the dungeon master I received a pair of boots with wings {Sleipnir} which can let the user run faster and slightly glide in the air, but because I can already fly I just give it to Abberon. Now it is her turn to set a baseline, She used lightning magic and fire magic with great proficiency and completed clearing the dungeon in around the same time as me and received a staff which amplifies magic but the grade is so low we decide to sell it with the other''s keep it. This time I decided to completely avoid using all magic and just use my body until it can reach the same speed as when I just use wind magic while running. I just use my sword techniques and knowledge to complete the dungeon and this time it takes just under 2 hrs, Abberon also tried completing it with just physical attacks and we kept at it till around 8 pm and decided to leave today and head back here tomorrow as we exited the dungeon and marked ourselves out. I open a [Gate] to the alley near the Inn and we enter for dinner. For dinner we have a batch of Frikkadel meatballs and some Ale as we discuss about our increased proficiency of around half the time without using any magic, so we reached the efficiency of completing the dungeon in just under 1 hr without using any magic and decided to continue training more tomorrow until we reach the efficiency of completing it in under half an hour and then we will practice completing it with just magic. By this time Abberon was so engrossed in the dessert that she was only half listening to what I was saying and when she saw me looking at her and smiling she got flustered and gave me an angry glare. As we depart to our own rooms. Tonight we have had a good run, let us continue tomorrow as well. I thought as I meditated a little before slowly falling to slumber. You Two Hunted Too Much After training for another day in the basic dungeon we have finally reduced the time we take in order to complete the dungeon down to 15 minutes. We decide to first head to the Adventurer''s guild and to go and sell all the items which dropped during our hunts and to see if Abberon is eligible for a promotion but because we are not in a hurry today we decided that we should train our bodies by running the distance and to capture some bandits if some appear on our way to fix my promotion and to complete that requirement from Abberon''s list. Abberon decided to use her {Sleipnir} while I use [Wind Magic] to propel me while I am running. We run through the plains on the way back to the Royal Capital. On the way we fortunately sensed that a group of bandits were attacking a carriage, I use [Gravity Magic] to suppress them so that they don''t cause any more harm while Abberon knocked them out and I used [Earth Magic] to create restraints out of metal and capture all 50 of them in just than a minute. Our training has really paid off. We then go to check inside the carriage and when I get near the carriage I notice that this carriage has the crest of the Duke painted on it. I then tend to the wounded knights and used [Recovery] on them, as they started to feel better I go inside to check out who is inside the carriage with the Duke''s crest on it. I open the door and when I see that it is actually the Duke I let him know that he is safe now. Inside with him was a small girl around 12 years old wearing a dress fit for noble''s, indicating that she might be his daughter. The Duke Rembrandt thanked us for our help and asked us whether we can escort them till the Royal Capital as most of his knight''s are injured. For which I tell him that that is of no concern as I have already healed them but agreed anyway. I then tell him that we have a method to take them to the Royal Capital instantly but he mustn''t question it or reveal it to others. When he agreed, I put [Dark Magic-Sleep] on the knights and the bandits while I open a gate to just outside the Royal Capital, putting the unconscious knights and the bandits on the other side, I drove the carriage to the other side and wake them up using magic, they are really surprised and confused after seeing that we had already reached the capital while they were unconscious but the most impressive face was the Duke and the Little Young Lady''s who were just staring as Jiiiiiiiiiii. They didn''t ask any questions because of the deal we had, as we handed over the bandits to the city guards who gives us a receipt on seeing that we have travelled with the Duke and he is the witness in that case. They asked us to come later tomorrow and to collect the payment from the adventurer''s guild. So we say goodbye to the Duke who asked us to meet him at his Mansion day after tomorrow decided to just head home for dinner instead decide to come back tomorrow to receive the compensation for capturing the bandits and capturing the dungeon and selling those drops.This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. The next morning after breakfast we head to the adventurers guild and ask Sylvia to come to the guild room because the number of drops we have will not all fit on the desk. Sylvia asked us to take them out and we remove thousands of equipment which were dropped by the dungeon monsters for the past two day''s we kept on hunting thousand''s of monster''s and collecting their drops while we just keep the rare drops with ourselves to either use ourselves or sell it later if we want to. Sylvia looks at us in a weird way as she put her hand on her head and shouts. You idiots, you hunted too much. I need to call the guild leader to ask her if we need and can purchase these many drops. Wait here while I go and call her and reflect on that fact. After waiting for around 15 minutes a Dark Elf came in, I have already seen her a few times before and am acquainted with her from when I delivered my mother''s letter to her in the past. We are in relatively good terms so I greet her and thank her for her time. She raises her hand as well as she notices Abberon and looked a little surprised but gave an understanding gaze and doesn''t say anything else about it. No one should be able to use analyse on Abberon because I have used Lvl-10 Information magic to block anyone from reading it unless it is a 8th/9th circle magician who can brute force their way through it. Which means that she noticed something but decided to not pick it up. "Good job Red and Abberon on hunting so many monsters and getting so many drop''s she said after checking our Guild Cards we can buy these for training the beginner''s but because they are of such a low grade so they won''t sell for a lot per piece but I can count around 1200 pieces all together so let us say for 250A each which comes to a total of hmmm...." "300,000A" "Whoah you are pretty fast good very good, also I just received the reward from the guards here is that as well" I receive a pouch with 1Million and 300,000 Aurums as the reward. Also you both have been promoted, Red to B-Class because you have enough guild point''s and completed the requirement for a hunt with a party and Abberon to D-class both of those promotions were expedited because of the recommendation from the Duke, also he has called you to his house and will compensate you for saving him personally.
